Love this building! Recently moved out and heavily enjoyed my experience. All the way from the initial tour, Shin the leasing manager knows all the units inside and out, providing a enjoyable way to get to know the building. Lauren at the mgmt. office was always available and helpful when reached by email. Maintenance was incredibly responsive and the doormen are versatile, helpful, and humorous. The building ran like clockwork and I didnt think I could have an apartment feel like home the way I felt at the Anthem. Highly recommend!
I lived in the Anthem for 6 years and recently moved to the suburbs. I had a very positive experience there, having lived in 3 different units in the building. The amenities are great, but more importantly, so is the staff. Everyone who works there is very friendly and professional. I would very much recommend this building to young professionals and families.
Great full service building. My wife and I lived here for 3 years and loved the building. All the doormen, porters, and management greeted us by name from day one. Had very few maintenance issues, but when we did they were addressed in a timely manner. The location is great as well (close to grocery stores, bars/restaurants, and public transit). I would absolutely recommend the building to a friend.
I lived at The Anthem for 3 years and really enjoyed my time there. The staff were always extremely pleasant and helpful when needed. The place is CLEAN! The rooftop is great and the well kept. Staff is responsive when issues arise.

The only place to live in NYC! I lived here for a year and no complaints. the doormen are some of the kindest people who truly go out of their way. the amenities, especially the rooftop, make the apartment building above and beyond
Ive only been to these apartments to visit a friend. The front desk has always been helpful, friendly, and personable. The one bedroom apartment is a nice size and the rooftop views are decent. I really like staying here because of its location.
The anthem has been the best building and staff for us for over 5 years. I would recommend to anyone looking in the area as it’s the best building around. Thanks again!

Lived here for 7 weeks.. Nice apartment although I had issues with the AC yet good place.. The best thing here is you have access to gym and very near to a big supermarket
It’s the second time I rent an apt at the Anthem and I came back here because I absolutely love everything here !! The services, the amenities, the apt, the location etc..!! Highly recommend !! :-)
Unresponsive management. I have had hot water coming out of my cold water tap for 4 months, been scalded in the shower, and not only has the problem not been fixed, but I have been unable to get any response from management. Extremely disappointing.

Living at the Anthem was a great experience and I highly recommend it. I cannot say enough good things regarding the staff here. The doormen and the maintenance staff were all genuinely great people. After having poor experiences in other buildings, I can say that this staff is top-notch. They were all extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We could not be more grateful for the staff here. We will miss the people here who made this place home.

2022-05-19I absolutely loved my time at The Anthem (13 months)! Both Shin and Lauren made my viewing and move in process quick, clear, and easy; they were always easily accessible and were happy to answer any questions I had. The apartments are spacious and the building, as well as the amenities are very well kept. Anytime I needed something fixed in the apartment, someone would be there within a few hours of putting in the request. The doormen, staff, and guests are incredibly friendly. Overall, The Anthem is a wonderful place to live and I would recommend it to anyone.

2022-03-29Loved my time (15 months) and the anthem. The door men were great, any time there was an issue it was repaired promptly. Lauren is a gem. Only moved out to be closer to work. Would live here again and recommend it to others.

2022-05-0615 years in the building. Great apartments (I lived in 3 different apartments over my time there), very good value for money, and location is convenient to get anywhere in town. Super helpful staff including the doormen, handymen, etc. Lauren in management office is a pleasure to deal with. Can’t recommend it enough, I will certainly go back there if returning to NYC.

I lived there for two.Pros:Nice apartments - new appliances, great views, well laid outNice rooftopNice-sized and clean gymMost doormen are very nice and friendlyIf you have a car, the garage is very well runCons:No auto-pay option for rent. Must drop off a check.Horrible management:- No negotiation on rent during height of COVID pandemic (mid-2020) when we moved apartments within the building. After we moved in, we saw an identical unit on a different floor for two or three months free and a lower net rent. Extremely disappointing given we were ideal tenants with no complaints against us.- Gave us no time to move out. We were given a two hour window, when every other building in NYC gives you 3-5 hours. When we hit the 2 hour mark, they stopped letting us move out to let someone else move in, and were only allowed to resume when they were done.- Would get multiple emails if anything was left in the hallway, even if it was just delivered.- During height of pandemic, one doorman refused to wear a mask, and management didnt do anything about it as far as we know.- We got a package delivered there by accident instead of our new apartment. After calling to ask to hold it until we can pick it up the next day, they said okay. The next day, the package was sent back to FedEx.My opinion: dont live here. There are better options in and around Murray Hill that are less expensive, maybe just as quality of a building, with better management.

2021-03-08Great building, amazing amenities and an impeccable service. We lived one year at The Anthem, and the staff has been wonderful to us (front desk, doormen, concierge and maintenance staff). The Building is clean, and has an incredible Rooftop filled with flowers and trees and which offers a unique view over Manhattan. The apartments are beautifully designed and very well maintained. The only thing we did not appreciate is the increasing number of dogs over the year, and constant dog waist on the roof top.

2021-11-05My wife and I were residents here for 4+ years. Excellent building with great amenities (roof deck especially). The building is very well-managed: maintenance requests are addressed in a timely manner, and the doormen and other staff are great - very courteous, helpful, and friendly. The building is also clean with common spaces well-maintained. We moved only because we had to upsize to two-bedroom and those units were a bit out of our price range. We would have otherwise stayed!

2020-08-04My wife and I lived at the Anthem for 4 years, and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic for easily getting around the city, including by bike and foot. The perfect spot to be close to trendy neighborhoods (Flatiron, East Village) and to easily walk to midtown offices. The apartments are beautiful with new floors and appliances. The residents are a good mix of young professionals and families. The roof is a beautiful oasis with landscaping like a botanical garden and river views. Most notably, the building staff are incredibly friendly and responsive, and quickly became like close friends on a first-name basis.

2021-07-23For the past 4 Years, The Anthem has been a very special place for our family. It was our 1st apartment together, where we welcomed our first baby, and then our second baby. And if we weren’t moving out of the city, we would most definitely still be living there. Its a fantastic building with a beautiful garden rooftop, great amenities including a gym & children’s playroom where I used to take my firstborn to play and for complimentary music classes which were held twice a month. The building location is also ideal in Midtown, just a couple of blocks from the subway with easy access to uptown, downtown, and even crosstown via the M34 bus with the stop right across the street. I honesty cant say enough good things about our experience with The Anthem, staff, and management. We’ll surely miss living there.

2021-06-23My wife and I lived in the Anthem for 3 years and absolutely loved it. All the staff, especially the doormen, are top-notch. The location is great with easy access to midtown and downtown, and the subway is only a few blocks away. The building itself is well-maintained with a beautiful rooftop and a large gym on the 5th floor. The other nice thing about the Anthem is that they dont allow residents to sub-divide the apartments. We would still be in the Anthem today if we hadnt decided to move out of NYC.

2020-05-28I really love living in The Anthem! I moved in earlier this year and had such a wonderful experience. From the initial tour to scheduling and actually moving into my apartment, it has been an absolute pleasure working with the staff at The Anthem. Everyone is so nice, friendly, and willing to help. Maintenance is always readily available to attend to any need (including helping me move in) and the doormen are so friendly and graciously greet residents with a smile. I highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a new home in NYC.
