They have crazy amazing facilities here! You can take classes in everything crafty! Jewelry making, textiles/sewing, painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking... everything! I am so glad to have this resource!They also have a gallery/ shop for members to sell their wares and a cafe/ bakery that I havent eaten at yet. The shop is a great place to find unique and interesting gifts (or something for yourself, of course!)If you are on the fence about taking a class, just take the leap! Trust me, its worth it.

I am so happy that I decided to take some painting classes here. The instructors are talented and it seems that my painting skills have developed nicely and have friends now that want to purchase them.The only thing that I didnt like is that one of the instructors is not as hands on. I like to see a lot of technique but when I did ask questions, the instructor was always extremely helpful and showed me different methods that I would have gotten at another class.I will definitely take more classes here and eventually venture into the different classes that they offer.

Great venue! Went to a Mixologi day party over the weekend and had a blast. Amazing music (DJ and live).Only complaints:Its an Art Gallery and there are beautiful pieces but they are hard to see during crowded events.The place gets HOT! We had to go outside several times to cool off.Still, its a really beautiful space for a party in a cute alley on Minna. Its also close to food/drinks for continuing the party elsewhere.

Wood floors, white walls with a mix of artwork and eclectic furniture give this collaborative work space a coffee-house feel. Management is friendly and helpful, but the place was closed twice during posted open hours and the lack of intercom directory made access inconsistent. May work better for special event rentals.

Aurora Gallery hosted our wedding reception on 03/18/17 and everyone we spoke to had nothing but great things to say about the event. We opted for “Classic Wedding Series” package which includes the venue for four hours, in-house furniture and décor, catering from a local restaurant plus staff, 5 hours of photography, DJ services for the duration of the event, a day-of-event coordinator, a bartender, among other things (a great value). A few things you should definitely expect to factor into your budget are drinks, as they have a dry bar, and any additional décor touches you’d want to add, such as flowers. John and Naeema the managers of the venue, were an absolute pleasure to work with – very friendly, accommodating to requests, and quick to respond to questions.The space was able to comfortably accommodate our reception of over 50 people, with room to spare, and as you can see from the pictures, is a nice blank canvas to work with (hardwood floors and exposed brick) and customize to make it your own. You hear a lot of horror stories about wedding food, but our guests really enjoyed the food, which was provided by local restaurant William Hallet. The photographer, Marianna, was very responsive and did everything we asked of her the night of. The DJ, Joe, was a bit unresponsive at times leading up to the night, did a great job during the event, playing the music we requested, feeding off the crowd, and keeping the party alive. The day-of-event coordinator, Vivian, was very proactive in terms of organizing the timeline of the event, set our expectations for what realistically could and couldn’t be done, and kept the night running smoothly.Only a few negatives to note on the day-of, but all of which were handled quickly and smoothly. 1) We sent over a guest list with a specific seating chart, but some tables were combined without notifying us. We got there early and noticed this, and after telling Naeema, she dealt with right away so that the intended tables were ready before the guests arrived. 2) We asked for two vegetarian plates to be provided for a couple of our guests, and once this came to our attention, we notified John who quickly contacted the caterers, who had it ready within 10 or so minutes. 3) One of the side dishes we requested for our menu wasn’t present the night of, but they made up for this in the end.In all, it was one of the greatest nights of our lives and we were so happy that we chose to go with this venue. Expect to put in a little extra work yourself, but this was completely fine with us, as it made the event more personal and intimate. We recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event for a reasonable price in a convenient location, working with truly wonderful people in John, Naeema and the whole team. Thanks again!

Everything was a dream! Everything was perfect! Everything went beyond any expectations we had envisioned. We are more then happy with everything and how our wedding turned out. Thank you to Jon for his attention to everything, his kindness and thoughtfulness when he thought we didnt have champagne and offered to go buy some! We told him it was ok....we had Moscato as the wine for the toast. Thank you to to Vivians attention to detail and diligence with everything. Words cannot begin to describe how happy we are and everyone else still is with the attention we received. Thank you again for all the attention and helping us have the wedding of our dreams.
