Cute restaurant, my friend and I had two different sandwiches, but they looked and tasted nearly identical. They seem famous for their biscuits, which were good, but nothing to write home about. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, and when I told the staff, she seemed to have taken it as a personal attack that I asked for toilet paper... We waited for a few minutes, but no one refilled it, so we left to find a bathroom.
They totally change their bahn mi and it sucks. Why would you ever put a mayo based slaw on a bahn mi. This place used to be great for vegans. Now the few things you can eat just suck, soggy tofu bland taste, no fresh ingredients (carrots cucumber jalapeños cilantro???). Sad that this place used to be a great.
Used to love this place but I feel like it’s gone done in quality the last couple times I’ve gotten from here. The Char Sui Bahn Mi used to be delicious but now there’s hardly any meat on it so you’re paying $14 for what is basically a bread sandwich. I’ve gotten it a couple times in the hopes that it was a fluke but that seems to be the new standard. The Korean Chicken Sandwich is still good tho. These have been my go to sandwiches from here so I can’t speak for anything else.
What a cute spot, tucked away from the main street. Cheap eat in Beacon!Food 4/5I loveeeed the hot chocolate. The warm chicken parm sandwich was perfect snack on a cold afternoon.Service 5/5Super friendly and helpful. Everyone was wearing a mask and following protocols. It’s currently over the counter order due to covidSeatingOutdoor sitting only. Did not see any heaters; and we were wearing our coats whilst we eat. Under the sun, it was quite niceWas informed that menu is switched to dinner/supper at 4pm.
All yummy and wont disappoint. Huge sandwiches.K.F.C. - KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN kim chi, TBD sweet chili hoisin, soy pickles, soft rollITALIAN COMBO genoa salami, mortadella, hot coppa, provolone, chile pepper relishred onion, lettuce, tomato, Italian dressing, crusty Italian bread
I loved Stock Up and was super sad when they closed. I didnt think a place could open that was better than them, but I was so wrong. LolNot only is Beacon Daily better, but its cheaper too. The food is divine. Their Breakfast Sammies on English Muffins are to die for. And I love their Jerk Chicken Sandwich. They also have a fruity pebbles Macaroon, which was SO good. And the staff is awesome too. 10/10. This is the spot! Its so refreshing to have a delicious yet affordable place to eat in Beacon. :)
My wife and I stopped here for lunch while visiting Beacon. We loved it and wished it was closer. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. Only negative was not being able to use the restroom after a long train ride but it’s COVID times so we get it. We got the chorizo burrito, breakfast runs as, the cucumber ale, and the raspberry sour. Good outdoor seating. We’ll be back on our next visit.
The Beacon Daily is a serious gem. The staff here are incredible and the sandwiches this place whips up are the best around. Cute little spot that’s a local favorite. With lots of locals, you know this place is good! Pork Rinds with buffalo seasoning, YUM! Nashville Chicken Sandwich and Italian combo are our favorites. The rice krispy captain crunch marshmallow treat is also insanely delicious. Beacon Daily, thank you for existing and for never disappointing. We love going for hikes in the area and ending the trip with you. Cheers!
Unbelievably bad service. high and mighty, completely inconvenient. food cant justify that bad of serviceedit: their response to my review clearly illustrates the problem with their attitude. responding to honest criticism with HA! is pretty dismissive and disrespectful
Im sure the food is good, but I walked up to the counter to buy two little 12 oz bottles of Topo Chico sparkling water which was heavily promoted throughout the space and to my abject shock and amazement it was over 10 dollars!! What the hecking heck? Really?Update: had an eggplant parm sandwich that was delightful.
Im an absolutely sucker for the Korean Chicken Sandwich... and its quite an achievement to finish it, you wont go hungry ordering from here.Beacon offers a lot of good eats. This place is just of the beaten path slightly, a good place to stop off if youve just conquered Mount Beacon, but it does have some of the most friendly people working here in the area. The food is pretty quick, always super-tasty and doesnt hurt the pocket too much. Dont miss out!
Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but their fried chicken sandwiches, biscuits, and English muffins are all A++. Everything tastes homemade but way better than I could make at home. I have ordered many times at all times of day and the quality is consistently excellent.
I am obsessed with this place. The sandwiches are the best in the Hudson valley...period. You cannot get a better egg and cheese then on the English muffins that they use. Outdoor seating is a big plus until we can all eat inside again. And when we can, the inside is very cute and comfortable. Nice vegan selection too, if thats important to you. Coffee is A+. Just go. You wont regret it.
After a gorgeous hike nearby, this was the perfect place to pick up sandwiches to go. HUGE and tasty and reasonably priced - our bellys and soul were full.Theres a couple picnic tables in the back to enjoy your lunch in the sun. Well be back for sure.Recommend the spicy chicken sandwich on a cheddar biscuit and the homemade meatball sub!The grill cheese for the little one wasnt worth it (only critique)
The objective review of the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich from this joint is meant to save or direct you.The whole sandwich is very soggy and unappealing. The biscuit buns are falling apart. It felt like it was dumped in oil. Literally I felt like I just ate a oil sandwich. Being a Nashville resident I’ve had a handful of Nashville Hot chicken sandwich . Of course all sandwiches in TN have their own take but still have that true Nashville taste .Best
Just an amazing experience. Friendly faces and delicious delicious food. The chorizo burrito is amazing and the chicken sandwich is amazing as well. Highly recommend it. Immaculately clean, well-designed and a great beer selection. Bring your free time your friends and your appetite.
A nice sandwich place on the pricier side, albiet its in Beacon so things will be a bit more expensive. Price aside, the sandwiches are good, and if youre a fan of sandwiches and burgers youll find something to love here. The place gives off a sorta rich college kid vibe which some may enjoy while others may dislike. Its a nice place to go with friends to grab a bite once in a while.
Drove up to beacon area from queens. came here for breakfast and everything was delicious. we shared a fried chicken egg sandwich that came on a homemade English muffin. the fried chicken was crispy and dark meat that was very clean. we also shared the breakfast burrito that was super hearty and the chorizo inside was soft and tasty. service fantastic too. if I come back to the area, I will definitely stop in again.
My family and I absolutely adore The Beacon Daily. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed while also accommodating - making it the perfect spot to catch up on work for your business or just to sit with some coffee and read. Everyone is welcome here! The quality of the food is impeccable, the food and drinks themselves are delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We make certain to stop by The Beacon Daily whenever we come through the area. We love being able to support an incredible family business in a wonderful community.
Sandwiches that make my mouth water! Food is fresh and savory. Biggest breakfast sandwiches and great lunch flavors. The bread is what makes it 5+ star for me. Homemade cheddar biscuit for the fried chicken sandwich and homemade muffin for b-fast? Done! I love this place, and its 5 min from my office.Thank you TBD!!
New favorite place in Beacon. Makes me actually want to eat in Beacon again! Perfectly made sandwiches, healthy portions, reasonable prices, fast (enough) service. I love that they mostly stick to classics without trying to reinvent the wheel. Amazing bread :) The cuban is my favorite so far.
I had The Dixie Keifer which is their version of a Reuben sandwich and it was excellent. I also brought a Dumpster Cookie home to my kids which was a huge hit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately for me, I was just traveling through the area for the day, but if I lived in the area if would definitely be a staple. The Crocco family, especially Chef Danny, who I have known my entire life, has an incredible work ethic that is beyond reproach, and they are the type of people you want running great local businesses.
I’ve been running a job right down the street and have been going there every morning, going on two weeks now. The food is outstanding. The business seems to be owner operated which ensures a great experience and goes above and beyond expectations .10 out of 10 will recommend
Pretty pricey for the area and what youre getting. Only bottled water ($2 each plus bottle deposit), meats are not antibiotic free, and a biscuit by itself is $4 (they have no jam - kinda surprising for a breakfast place). No idea why this place is rated so highly compared to other Beacon places.

2022-04-07I don’t like giving reviews that aren’t 5 stars but I wish I had this information.I’ve stared at the Best of The Hudson Valley plaque featuring their sandwich for months. I adjusted my work schedule to finally try and I was pretty disappointed. There wasn’t enough hot sauce, it didn’t look anything like the picture (see picture), the biscuit was good but fell apart immediately making it difficult to eat, the lettuce was not what’s shown and several bites of the chicken ended up being just fried breading. The Big Mac tots had a good flavor, the beef was good, the tots were excellent but it literally looked like a box of puke which several people commented on.For $26, a $3 tip, wobbly table and no table service I had to give it 3 stars. I would still like to try their breakfast but was disappointed.I think a few small changes could make a big difference, I appreciate the creativity

2022-06-15First time ever coming here, in town on a project, and some colleagues were talking this place up so I had to try it for myself being a profound foodie. Theyre several things Id like to address: Presentation, Chicken, Hot sauce, additions, and biscuit. Upon opening the wrapping of the Nashville Hot - The presentation was gorgeous. Loved the look of it. The Chicken - unfortunately for me it was too much breading which took away from actually enjoying the chicken that was underneath. Good crunch for sure, way too much breading not enough protein. Hot Sauce - Their wasnt any. Addition - Avocados - I added avocados to my sandwich instead of pickles. The price of three slices of avocados was $4.00, which is insane but I guess everyone needs to make a living. Lastly, the biscuit was sub par if warmed or maybe toasted with some butter it may have held up better instead of falling apart while trying to eat it.In closing, I wish my experience was a great one such as my colleagues experiences, but unfortunately it wasnt. I dont mind paying any dollar amount for great food, my stomach has no price. I will never visit this place again, and this is my opinion, BUT The Beacon Daily is far from being the best fried chicken Sandwich in Hudson Valley.

2022-06-11We had a great brunch at The Beacon Daily! My fiancé had a ham and egg breakfast sandwich on a homemade English muffin (I stole a bite which was tasty). The sandwich was huge! I got the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The liege waffles were thick and chewy and the crunchy chicken was a great compliment to the sweet waffle. The chicken also had a slight kick to it which balanced the sweetness. The chicken and waffles also came with a side of butter, syrup, and berry compote. The portion was generous and well-priced. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I’d love to return if I’m ever back in the area!

2022-02-27A couple of awesome vegan options. I had the black bean burrito with tofu, delicious. I was hoping to have breakfast but really no “breakfast that are vegan” options and I did eat in the morning. I wouldn’t say it’s a family environment for little kids but it’s definitely a great fast option for good food. The music was pretty loud too, so my plan to relax and read wasn’t happening.

2022-02-19Proving that Beacon Daily doesn’t only make the best chicken & waffles, fabulous’Brekkie Bowls & Burritos and yummy English Muffin Breakfast Sandwiches, today I had the daily special of Shrimp & Grits that would have pleased my fussy Louisiana born and raised grandma! Creamy grits with savory , well seasoned large shrimps, smothered in a chunky tomato sauce that had just the right amount of ‘heat’ to bring out the full flavors of this hearty dish, has to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve experienced in quite some time. Highly recommended!!!

2022-06-09I recently had Beacon Daily cater an event I had. They responded fast and were extremely accommodating. I requested a large salad that would be vegan friendly and got 3 large sandwich trays - they were all a hit! The large sandwich trays allow for you to pick two different types of sandwiches per tray, which made for great variety. Also not that I want to recommend you request something last minute, but I even added a tray of rice crispy treats within a week of my order pick up and they were more than happy to make it happen for me! Chris was super friendly and even helped load my car up. I will definitely be going to them again for any catering needs.

2022-05-11My girlfriend and I have been here about four times now, first time was when we spent the weekend up state New York and we stumbled upon it from our bed and breakfast that we were staying at. Then we intentionally have driven there three other times from Jersey which is about an hour or so away just to get the breakfast sandwiches and the chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches are out of this world if I live there I eat them everyday but the fact that I dont its totally worth the drive for me and my girlfriend now that Im rating this I cant wait to do it again and have it again The chicken sandwich is delicious fresh crispy definitely filling. The breakfast sandwich is bacon egg and cheese with delicious eggs on a homemade English muffin crispy bacon Its just out of this world
