The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel in New York
Dont recommend if youre a light sleeper. There is basically zero noise isolation, so you hear everything anyone says on the corridor, and every time a door shuts. The cleaning service was very uneven, sometimes they would do a thorough clean, and sometimes they only changed the towels. I started with 4 glasses (stayed for two weeks) and they took dirty glasses until I was left with one. They did not replace the dirty glass for a couple of days (I later got one more glass and it was replaced every day). Sometimes they would give me one complimentary water and sometimes two. Sometimes they would take dirty towels (they took towels even if you didnt leave them on the floor) and not replace them, so I would have 1. This was truly strange. The gym is super crowded and not best equipped. Overall I dont recommend, especially for this price. Im not coming back
Beautiful and fancy. Bellman was helpful and on point. Rooms are small. We used this place to get ready for our wedding. Called several times for items we requested the night before. Just frustrating. Need permission to photograph there and the bar area is full when you are allowed to us it.Its gorgeous, and a must see or stay.
What a place. Unique hotel with epic style. Great drinks, nice rooms and shower, attentive service. The staff did everything they could to help with all requests and really showed that they care. Everyone from the doormen to the front desk was great. Not easy to find service like this in the City!
Great experience at this property - stayed several times. Rooms are beautifully appointed and friendly staff and service. Only reason I mark one star down is because of recent construction happening right next to the building which is causing noise issues - when I stayed before it wasn’t a problem - hoping they can resolve this because I even downgraded my room to have an interior view to avoid noise.
Stayed here in a Corner Suite during the fall. Really between the Beekman and the Four Seasons Downtown these places are the two nicest hotels below 34th Street in my opinion. The rooms are a tad dark and on the smaller side but other than that the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the service was outstanding aside from the restaurant on property. Id would definitely stay here again if I needed to be Downtown.
Visited the Beekman just before Christmas. Beautiful property with a good location in the Financial District. Good aspects included fabulous service in the breakfast restaurant courtesy of our server Michelle, and from George the concierge, who managed to arrange an in-room covid test in a matter of 20 minutes. Not so good aspects were lack of basic amenities like tea- and coffee making facilities, and a notion of being short-staffed due to a lack of cleaning in the halls and that no one ever managed to bring anything to the room despite several requests. All in all, a nice property, but also some kinks to work out.
Please look no further. This is the one. The hotel you’ve been looking for, stop and go ahead and make reservations. My stay here was nothing short of remarkable. The staff were exceptional. I mean everyone: housekeeping, waitstaff, doormen, etc. Perfect all around. I’ll be back again!
Probably the best i’ve stayed at in NYC - design/decor, service, are all 5 star - the neighborhood is maybe for a specific taste - downtown can get a little sleepier on the weekends, but the bar downstairs is always happening. great though for personal (sightseeing) or business travel - I probably would not bring my children here though.
We are used to better service from a five star hotel. They did not deliver our dry-cleaning on time and I ended up buying a new shirt in a hurry and we arrived 30 minutes late to the dinner of the wedding we were invited to.At checkout, we did not have to pay for dry cleaning and a service tax, which gets added to the daily room, 35 USD/day was waved. If you are used to real luxury and the service that comes with that, don’t expect it here.I never give bad reviews, other than when I am really disappointed, and this happens only on rare occasions.Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are great, our stay would have been a 9 out of 10.But it’s on those occasions, were you have a problem, were the real good hotels shine and the beekman disappointed us in every sense possible on this occasion.
The quality of the amenities and linens has fallen since our last stay a year ago. We were expecting the little details of luxury that made this hotel a gem. As an example, the bath towels were threadbare and below average size; a sharp enough contrast to past experience that we both commented on it.A disappointment.
Temple court and the bar room. What an experience! We arrived early and sat at the bar. Daniel made wonderful drinks including the Beekman Vesper and paper plane. The food at TC cant be beat. Octopus, scallops and muscles were divine. Goat cheese agnolotti melted in my mouth. Salmon, pork chop and chicken were wonderful. Desserts including watermelon sorbet, creme Brulee, chocolate cake yum. I cant wait to go back!
Ive stayed at the Beekman for 7 weeks in the last 7 months. The people who work there are fantastic: taking care of all your needs and are very professional. The bar is lively, beautiful, and fun (even if you are eating at the bar like I usually do.) The food is good- my two favorites are the lamb cavatelli pasta and the wagyu burger. The gym has weights and cardio including 2 Pelotons. My only minor complaint is that the rooms are a little on the small side. But overall, its a great property.
Rooms r Old , noisy and smelly. Lobby ok. Stuff polite. I stayed for 3 days in may. First room’s wall was flaking and shakes every time when the subway pass. Second room had a sewage smell and the hot water was brown. However, the all staff team was really helpful and gave a partial refund. However, still can’t recommend this place.
Currently mid stay and am shocked. When I checked in I was told I was going to be on a lower level because guests have been complaining about the construction outside more from higher floors. I was woken up at 7 am by drilling and banging outside so there was no difference made. If you know this is going to be an issue, why even put a guest on the side facing it ?In addition, I put a door tag on my door last night for coffee to be delivered in the morning. It was not picked up even though I put it on the door hours before the pick up cut off time written on the tag (3 am). When I called down this morning and let them know it wasn’t picked up the front desk person said it had to be on the door before 10 pm. I let him know the tag says before 3 am and he said “ oh you must have a wrong tag”. LolBy the way, I had to call down with my cell phone because neither the phone nor the TV in my room work .Feels like this place is falling apart and definitely cannot be classified as a 5 star hotel that charges $700+ a night .
If you are able to stay here , you will be in for a real treat. All rooms come with beautiful all marble shower, very fitting furniture and more. Stay here for more than few days and you just might think you own the place (haha trust me , you will not want to leave). In-Room dining by Tom Colicchio what more can you want. Excellent staff and service.
Some aspects of The Beekman were phenomenal: (1) Michelle at the atrium cafe - like a friendly big sister who always knew the right thing to say, (2) the concierge - went above and beyond with restaurants choices, bars, and general city insight, (3) the bathroom - well lit and everything in stone. Other things you would expect at a hotel this size were surprisingly lacking: (1) no coffee/tea pot in the bedroom nor was there tea available in the lobby and (2) short-staffing - dirty room service trays remained outside many of the rooms on the floor for four days and no one could ever seem to deliver anything to the room in spite of multiple calls to the front desk. Overall, its a very ambient place - the lobby, restaurant, and bedrooms are all very comfy and photogenic, but the hotel has some things to work on if it is going to continue to justify the prices.
Beekman hotel is part of Hyatt and American express fine hotel collections with American express includes breakfast for two ($30/person/morning at the bar room), $100 hotel credit and room upgrade when is available. Anyway the check in process is quick you can check in as early as 13 as long as room available. The room is quite spacious. However it does show that the building is old and the main carpet can do a refresh. 24 hours fitness center. Located on 2 and 3rd floor. It has beautiful atrium. Concierge is very helpful Overall a great experience
I LOVE this hotel! It is SO charming and warm. The location is in the center of the earth just below the Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall. You can walk to the New York Stock Exchange in a few min. I was stayed last weekend for four nights and the check in was brilliant. I lucked out getting my room at 1pm. Dan did the check in was so incredibly welcoming. Thank you to George the concierge Matthew the doorman for being so helpful and making me feel at home. If you are into the history of New York south of Chambers Street, this is the place to stay. I will be back for sure.
Beautiful hotel. Kind of upscale but no dress code enforced , so you can wear tshirts and jeans if you want. Most people were dressed business casual or nicer though. Wonderful mezzanine view to skylight and each level. Food is great as well. Darren was an awesome host .
We recently stayed at The Beekman and hosted our wedding there as well. We couldnt have asked for a better experience. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, the staff was always very attentive and helpful. From a guest perspective, the rooms are charming, clean and comfortable and the in-room dining was very tasty. From a wedding perspective, we cant thank Tiffany and Maykel enough for the efforts they made to make our wedding come together so beautifully. Our only wish is that we could do it all over again because we enjoyed it so much.
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in NYC. The service is impeccable. The staff is so friendly and courteous. They really took good care of my family.I lucked out with the weather and made full use of the great patio area with my room. The food is really great here as well. I ate at the roof top deck and seriously it was way better than my experience at French Laundry and for half the price. The day of my departure I had breakfast in the atrium area and it was so tasty. The house made sausage and potatoes served along with it are so good. And a note on their covid protocol it is really good. My family and I felt totally safe.I highly recommend staying here! You will not regret it.
The atmosphere at the hotel was beautiful but it was way to dark in the lobby. Because its so narrow and zig zags, it was hard to locate the elevators. Location to me was undesirable.Sorry, bitI forgot to mention the service. I attended a wedding where the service was very unorganized. The couple specified a time line for the 4 course dinner so that all the guests can enjoy themselves on the dance floor. I did not know what to expect but the appetizer course came out with no issue. Everything went downhill from there. The 2nd course was a pasta dish which was tasteless and the pasta sat so long before it being served that the pasta got hard it was basically uneatable so that was a waste. The servers were not collectively working together. Now for the main dish but the time between the pasta dish and main dish took about a half hour before it was served piecemeal. That was a little better but not what a top restaurant would serve at a wedding. Again it took forever to collect the main course. The final course, dessert, was the worst. The time between the main course and dessert took even longer to serve and the wait service would bring out one plate at a time. The was no group effort to make any sort of impression for the restaurant let alone for the chef and the kitchen staff. Finally, no coffee withe the dessert, disappointing to say the least. I hope this doesnt affect the hotels restaurant cause that would be a shame.
I really enjoy this hotel and have stayed here a few times. I live in Queens, NY, so staying here for a night is like a nice mini vacation for my partner and I. She was the one who discovered this beautiful hotel and took me here for my birthday. The Bar Room and atrium are breathtakingly beautiful. The cocktails are excellent. Temple Court is one of the two restaurants, and its fabulous. There is also a speakeasy here, but I didnt tell you. The rooms are so comfortable with rich fabrics, wood and textiles. The bathrooms are large and can be intimate. All staff have always been friendly and helpful. Spoil your lover and spend the night here.
Its hard to review hotels in the time of covid. I get that the expectations of guests can exceed the services and amenities the hotel can offer during Covid. So im going to try be fair and objective in these exceptional times. First and foremost the hotel is absolutely stunning. The architecture is awesome. The furnishings and ambience is exceptional and it felt luxurious the moment you walk in the lobby. The front desk staff were super friendly and check in and out was easy. The room was clean and comfy but unfortunately the view and natural light was awful as we looked directly onto the dark brick of the adjacent building. I get that its NYC but i expected more from a corner suite. The hotel is absolutely not kid friendly. Neither the restaurant nor room service menus had any items i could offer them for dinner so we were forced to get takeout out for them which isnt the convenience i was expecting from a hotel like this. The restaurant and bar felt unwelcoming to kids altogether and i wouldnt have felt comfortable in there with them. Moreover the hostess was abrupt and rude which was unexpected and upsetting. All in all, its beautiful hotel but avoid the Beekman if you have kids.
The world’s population is constantly increasing. To accommodate everyone, we need to build modern, sustainable cities. For all of us to survive and prosper, we need new, intelligent urban planning that creates safe, affordable and resilient cities with green and culturally inspiring living conditions.
All the glitz doesnt mean a thing if you threaten your guests with erroneous charges.I stayed here for a conference. My organization paid ahead of time and completed the Credit Card Authorization form, and they confirmed their receipt. Upon me arriving, they claimed they never got it. I showed it to them, and they let me go to my room. Then they called me at 11pm to tell me it was not valid. After I checked out, I got a second email threatening to charge my personal card for the $700+ of the visit. For their no-reason statement that the authorization form was not valid. Even though again, I showed their own email to me.And also, they wanted to charge me $27 for moving the signs on the mini-bar. I didnt touch the mini-bar.I dont know what theyre trying to do, shave off money from people with sneaky tactics. Beware of this.
Arrival: I arrived here with my bf on a Tuesday morning after a redeye flight. Unfortunately didnt catch his name but the concierge was very friendly and welcoming. He gave a few rooms options and their caveats (e.g., room A is bigger than room B but A has construction outside), and let us do early check in. This was such a big relief since we were soo tired after the flight and just wanted a place to drop off luggage and reset for a while.Stay: Staying at the Beekman was a very pleasant experience. There are doormen around for directions and to help with the doors, which is handy if youre busy or your hands are full (though admittedly they didnt always notice when someone arrived or was leaving which is a slight downside); the concierge staff are always around to help answer questions; I never saw the cleaning staff but the one who serviced the room left friendly notes which was such a nice surprise upon returning.Dining: We tried to go for pre-dinner drinks one night at one of their restaurants but even just for drinks apparently a reservation is needed, which was unexpected (thought wed just be able to hang out at the bar for less than an hour); the next reservation wasnt until 10pm.Departure: Checkout was easy and painless though with a slight footnote. Was able to do it online, but still had to see the concierge for the final bill since the email didnt arrive.
A really terrific choice for downtown lodging. The rooms vary dramatically in size, but even the smallest ones have very nice touches that elevate them from the ordinary. The historic atrium is an architectural glory to behold and makes the bar area feel especially festive. It can be challenging to get a table in the bar during prime times and they dont give hotel guests any extra nod. That said, the front desk staff is very helpful as is the concierge. The park across the street is definitely a bonus for a spot to relax and watch the world go by.
Theyve done a great job with the design of this hotel. Its amazing. Absolutely beautiful throughout. The lobby bar has a wonderful view all the way to the roof.Normally I would rate this a 5* but there were a few low points. They lost a couple of my packages. It wasnt until I kicked up a stink at checkout that they were found. Also as dealt with in another review of their speak easy bar in the basement, we were ripped off and were treated like the place was ram packed. But it wasnt even half full. Anyway horrible experience in there that really put me off wanting to go back.
My was stay was absolutely incredible! The staff was attentive, personable and made me feel right at home. The front desk answered my myriad of questions and always welcomed me back or wished me a good day as I was heading out. The front door team went out of their way to make sure I felt 5 star as I was coming and going. The security brought up all of my food deliveries promptly and with a smile. I would like to give a special shout out to Josh who is a true gem! His upbeat demeanor, friendly small talk and outgoing personality are second to none! Youre also incredibly close to two subway stops, a 24 hour food market across the street and a quiet street easy to grab a Lyft. I will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
This is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve been to, especially in Lower Manhattan. It has rather high rates, but the amount of complementary amenities makes up for that fact. The staff are very helpful and care for their customers. The location is very close to a few restaurants and is within reasonable walking distance to the WTC. It is a very nice facility and the main room is something that you need to see in person to truly understand. The Temple Court restaurant in the hotel is quite expensive and doesn’t have a large selection, but it is very nice and the options which are there are very well made. The only drawback to this facility which I’ve experienced is that the elevators are a little bit small and require your room key to operate. Overall a good facility which you should definitely check out if you’re visiting Manhattan.
We stayed here for during our wedding. They provided us with great service. Upgraded our room, sent a bottle of champagne to our room, the bar reserved us an area for our cocktail party. First class treatment. Gorgeous restored hotel keeping the old world charm. Highly recommend.
I love the design of this hotel-- it is gorgeous. The rooms are nice and big, and well laid out. My main complaint about the rooms, are the bathroom doors-- theyre barn doors that offer little to no privacy at all. The staff is excellent; very helpful and friendly. The Temple Court bar and restaurant have excellent drinks and is stunning. You can often find rooms here at a good rate.
Visited the hotel on our honeymoon and the team really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had an incredible time.Midway through our stay, we had an issue with a noise in our room that couldn’t be easily fixed so the team ensured we moved to a different room and enjoyed the rest of our stay.Their doormen are super helpful with everything from local tips, directions and helping get a cab.The thing we loved most about the hotel - after its incredible decor - is its fantastic location. We walked everywhere from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park from the location. If you’re looking to treat yourself, we definitely recommend it.
Beekman dining experience is exclusively theirs, top chef Tom Colicchios restaurant is as all his restaurants, simply superb! You dont need to say much about Tom Colicchios cooking, or about his top chefs. This is a place with great dining exquisite foods and a bar area thats second to none. So come on down and enjoy a food experience like no other.
Beautiful architecture, employees gave wonderful service. However, for how much we paid for this room and all of the 5 star reviews and the fact it was a 5 star hotel my expectations were much higher than received. NOTHING in your room is complementary, $6 for shampoo and body wash? Only 2 very small free water bottles. The fact that there was no complementary items I think should be mentioned upon booking. NO TRASH BAGS. Felt gross to throw bathroom items away with no bag. Room had absolutely no view of anything. The bathroom door literally reminded us of a barn door which offers NO privacy to ANY bathroom sounds. My husband has stomach issues and needed some plain crackers in the morning, said they didn’t have crackers but could bring plain toast. Was charged $6 for toast that tasted like it sat out over night in butter. Soggy and stale. Would never recommend.
Incredible venue for a wedding or dinner. Architecture is absolutely breathtaking-look up! Beyond Entertainment hosted an incredible evening for the married couple in the private cellar. Food was delicious. Just wow. (Note* I mention Beyond Entertainment because they are the people you need to rent a dance floor from.)
Obsessed. I don’t think I will stay anywhere else when I’m visiting Wall Street. This hotel is right out of 1920’s era speakeasy elegance. Beds are comfortable-(could be a little softer but that’s a personal preference). The details in the room create ambiance like you can’t imagine. It’s clean. It’s feels fresh and new even as a throw back. And the rooms are big for nyc!!! Excellent experience.
I did not stay here. I came for the Instagram pictures just to clarify. But the lobby is beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. Good place to study and go people watching. The drinks at the bar are pretty good and prices are what you would expect at a nice place. The staff are very attentive and the area is very clean.
Great place. Extremely expensive tasty cocktails...expensive because youre paying a real estate tax. The place is gorgeous.Amazing hotel! My wife and I have enjoyed several stay-cations here. If you were to look up hospitality in the dictionary Im certain youd find reference to this hotel and their amazing staff. In addition, the hotels ambiance and amenities are world class with an excellent bar and two fantastic restaurants on premise. I really cant say enough positive things about this hotel.
Entire stay at the Beekman was phenomenal. Automated temperate check at arrival felt save. Immediately my family was greeted byNelson and Mathew. Victoria manager it was incredibly helpful when it came to meeting our needs. Paul brought up ice (real ice, like whiskey glass rocks! Truly felt like a five-star hotel, and a five-star vacation. The location is phenomenal as well. You walk outside is a great deli, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, downtown world trade. There’s also great subway line on Fulton Street. Uber also not congested.Seems like everyone does all it takes here. At departure Katie and Tiffany(sales) lugging bags....just doing what it takes to figure it out for guests.Downstairs restaurant looks like an amazing place for a date or work function. Great vibe! When it comes to the hotel it is spectacular. Spotless. Trendy, but new, and classic. Tons of great photo spots or place to relax in the hotel. Take advantage of these backgrounds. Finally, they made us feel like Family. We told them where we were going, what time will be back, and after walking all day came to this in the room. Service in the hotel, location, and decor make it worth the few extra dollars to stay in the city. Promise you’ll feel like you’re somewhere else!
Amazing hotel well build and excellent decor i love the openess of the restaurant as well as the coziness of it great food as well as great rooms well lit the shower was amazing and the staff was kind and helpful would definitely recommend it for dates or business stays
Can’t deny the beautiful architecture and historic nature of the building, the main attraction seems to be the temple bar which is busy at all times of day. But when it actually comes to staying in one of the rooms of the hotel; it’s a very different matter. Was surprised to be the only negative review after reading all the 5 star raves and being excited to stay here.First and foremost, service was excellent from all staff - they were friendly, helpful and attentive. HOWEVER, the rooms are small, there is no hot water boiler or tea/coffee-making facilities, room service is extremely limited and the gym is shoe-Horned into two rooms on two separate floors. The food options in the immediate neighbourhood are also extremely limited. We stayed here for 5 nights and on the third morning of breakfast, I had a particularly bad experience. 10 minutes after taking me order, the waiter came over to tell me their kitchen was undergoing food inspection and that my food would take a short while longer. After 45 minutes of waiting, I noticed the manager going around telling other tables (including the one right beside me) that they would be offered complimentary tea/coffee and croissants while waiting. Somehow they completely skipped my table, maybe because I was Asian or not dressed in business attire(?) and seemed to completely avoid my gaze when I was trying to catch their attention to find out what was going on. It was extremely frustrating and left a bad impression on me. It was also unfortunately the morning of the polar vortex, and I found myself walking out of there after the long wait to get some food outside of the hotel in sub-zero temperature.
One of the most unique hotels I have stayed in. The staff was always very friendly, and the housekeeper that did our room did an outstanding job. The doormen remembered our faces and would greet us and ask what we had been up to, which was nice. Situated close by is a CVS for snack and drink stocking and a Joes pizza less than a block away for those pie cravings.
We stayed here for our honeymoon in December. They upgraded our room on arrival and staff were really helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable but its the building itself and the attention to detail which makes this hotel have the wow factor. Its beautiful and has wonderful character. The bar downstairs does lovely cocktails too.
This historic building has been restored beautifully! I could spend all day staring at the detail throughout, walking up the staircases that are worn with so many years of footsteps. From the lobby to the staff and the room, it is all exceptional. I will be back here for sure.
My fiancé (now husband) and I decided to stay at the Beekman to celebrate our wedding ceremony in New York because it was close to the Marriage Bureau, County Clerk and NY Department of State where we needed to process the paperwork to officiate our marriage. We are so glad we made this choice as not only were we happy with the location but the hotel itself was fabulous with its old school charm and the customer service was exceptional. We were provided with a free room upgrade and on the night of our wedding they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to mark the occasion. The rooms are spacious and clean and the noise you hear from the streets is limited. They provide a nightly turn down service which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure.
You can’t but be overawed by the architecture of building. The atrium is just magnificent, and I just loved the ironwork. The elevators have these nice brass watch faces to indicate the floor you are on. A beautiful building is nothing without the people working there and here the Beekman excels. Staff are more than willing to help you, and the friendly notes left by the chambermaid are highly appreciated. The location of the hotel is fantastic: close to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and Ground Zero. The hotel also sports an excellent gastronomic restaurant “Temple Court” It was so good that I dined there three times during my one week’s stay.
My fiancee and I stayed at The Beekman during New Years Eve 2020 to celebrate our engagement that happened two weeks prior. It was a surprise trip that I planned months prior to asking her the question and wanted to splurge and enjoy a 5-star hotel in New York. We have visited the city a few other times but never stayed in a 5-star hotel. Im not sure if our expectations were too high or that we caught them on a bad week, but although our experience was nice, it was not the 5-star stay we were hoping for..Upon arrival, I spoke with concierge on multiple occasions advising that this was a surprise trip for my new fiancee and that I would greatly appreciate anything they could do to make our stay even more special for my fiancee. I was told that a bottle of champagne or wine would be waiting for us in our room upon our arrival and asked what I preferred. Red wine was my choice. When we arrived, the bellman happily stored our bags as we waited to be able to check in. The doormen and bellmen were extremely friendly and accommodating! However, the front desk people we not as friendly and seemed somewhat rude at times. Not a huge deal! We received a notification that we could check in an hour early and headed back to the hotel. We were upgraded from a Premium King to a King Studio Suite that I was told had a little extra room. When we walked into our room, I was not awed at the design, city view or amenities in the room as I expected. However, the room and bathroom was very spacious and the king sized bed very comfortable. After getting settled, I notice that no complimentary wine was waiting for us. After a reminder to the concierge, they brought up a bottle of red and a box of chocolates. We wanted to relax an hour or so after traveling so laid down in bed and turned the TV on. The remote control barely worked as if the batteries needed replaced and the TV lagged with glitches and made it very annoying to watch. I texted concierge and was told a technician would be sent up whenever we wanted, so I asked that he come when we were out for dinner that evening. After relaxing, I needed to shower to get ready for dinner. The bathroom was very nice, waterfall shower great with good shampoo, conditioner and body wash. However, when I got out of the shower, I found that it leaked all over the entire bathroom floor as the ledge was not tall enough between the door. I wiped up the mess with my towel and noticed some rust stains under the trashcan, assuming that it was from this happening prior to our stay. The next evening was New Years Eve and we had a reservation at Delmonicos at 7:00 PM which is .5 miles away from The Beekman. When I got down to the lobby to ask the man at the front desk if we could request the hotel vehicle to take us to dinner, we were told that it was out for the last ride of the evening and that we would have to figure out our own transportation. I went outside to order a car and talked to the doorman while we waited. He said that they hotel vehicle typically goes until 7:00 PM, but stopped early because it was New Years Eve?The rest of our stay was enjoyable. The TV didnt lag as much as the first night, but still some. The maids that cleaned our room twice a day were in and out unnoticeable and even left hand written notes thanking us for our stay. The Bar Room downstairs was nice with great drinks and friendly staff.Overall our stay was good, just not the 5-star experience that I was hoping for when booking my trip at The Beekman. Great location and I would recommend walking in to have a drink at the bar and check out the historic building. However, there are plenty of other hotels in Manhattan to try out!
My wife and I stopped in at the Beekman for lunch on the last day of our New York City trip. We sat in the bar lounge area, and stared up at the amazing staircase lined ceiling. The furnishings and woodwork all give the place and old, luxurious charm. We very much enjoyed our cocktails, and the food was terrific. Just walking around the place is a joy. Obviously a well known and high class joint.
I had the pleasure of staying at The Beekman 2 weeks in a row, and it was a wonderful experience both times. Staff was always warm, friendly, and helpful, the restaurants are fantastic, but most of all, it was the wonderful doorman Josh that really made both stays next level. He’s incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice decoration. The hotel is full of character. BUT...no complimentary water like many other high-end hotels offer. Room service charges you $4 per delivery. Not very friendly staff at the hotel bar. The room is not as spacious Conrad which is also a 5-star. If you stay at the 2nd floor you will hear a lot of noises from the traffic. Disappointing experience overall.
I had drinks at their Bar Room. Decorated in Victorian style, from the furnishings to the lights to the comfy chairs putting one into an era that only can be replicated in the movies. The drinks were extensive and fabulous. Service was super nice. My server was knowledgeable and efficient. The Beekman Bar Room is located blocks away from Wall Street. So expect this place to be crazy busy during lunch and dinner. Get there early and enjoy!
One of the best hotels I have ever had the joy of staying at, great rooms in a outstanding location for tourists attractions in New York, such as the 9/11 memorial or the pier for Ellis Island and Liberty Island ferries. Very clean and mixed fashioned interior ranging from upscale old fashioned furniture to modern appliances and TVs. Staff were also very friendly to my brother and myself who are teens. And not to mention the quality of the room service was impressive, with however a very limited menu I may add. The two restaurants located on the hotels grounds are also extremely good, one being French and the other classical American offering a wide range of meals that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. This hotel has truely made other 5 star hotels I have stayed at in the past look pathetic and unprofessional. Highly recommend to those reading this review trying to choose hotels in New York.
Good food in a beautiful setting. We dinned in the dining room. It is spacious (or cavernous) - a luxury in NYC. The waitstaff is pretty attentive. The food is a modern spin on old classics. Get the venison wellington, scallops and the short rib tortellini in mushroom broth. The wine list is extremely reasonable.
We dined in the bar room. Delicious cocktails (a bit expensive but worth it). A stunning space with a limitless atritum. Food came quickly and was splendidly elevated and accessible at the same time. A modest menu made ordering easy. Cannot wait to return to indulge in the baked Alaska.
Wow! Great hotel! The style of this gem is reminiscent of the gilded age. Incredibly ornate glass, tile and woodwork! A vestibule that is something out of a museum and service thats incredible. I dont like to give my dollars away and feel ripped off. With this stay, I felt privileged. The restaurants, the bars, the rooms were all outstanding. My view was not phenomenal for Manhattan standards and the lobby was a bit dark, but these things didnt take away from my experience, which was wonderful!
The staff here is amazing from check in with Paul to check out. Did a lot of shopping in NY and they shipped my bags back to my home. The food is great I , always ordered the “smoothie “ for breakfast. The location was good for walking, subway, shopping and real street style food. The vibe here at BT is consistent with high standards, comfort & convenience. Special shout out to the door men, so polite and accommodating.
An unbelievable place for both my fiance and I. I booked this place for our post-engagement enjoyment in NYC. The front door is very small, which is the first part Im very confused. However, when we stepped inside the hotel, the immediate scent and views from ancient Europe astonished us: it was a tall and huge space with very delicate decorations from like 200 years ago, plus the elevator is those old-fashion pointer instead of digital screens. The room is very spacious, though I wish my room has an openable window so that I can see whats going on outside. All and all, were very satisfied for our night at The Beekman Hotel, and we would recommend anyone who wanna have a great time in NYC to stay at The Beekman Hotel.
It was my first time staying at The Beekman. I liked that they texted me before arrival and were responsive when I had a question. Quick and easy check in.The lounge bar area is quite pretty. And on the weekend we were there also quite packed. Could be loud if you are a light sleeper with a room near the center. The room was good sized (for NY). Nice large closet. The bathroom was pretty and the shower had amazing water pressure. 👍 The bath products are nice but quite scented. Didn’t bother me though.I liked the location. Short walk to Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and a subway station.
We celebrated our wedding at the Beekman Hotel with 75 Guests in June, and had a wonderful celebration! Thank you to event coordinator Amy and her hard work to ensure our wedding was a success! Everything from the food, to the hotel rooms was top notch. We are so grateful we could celebrate our wedding here with our friends and family.
This place is sneakily awesome. Great location next to Brooklyn Bridge and public transportation. The ambiance is that of a classy museum or library. My suite was amazing. The hotel lso had a very nice speak easy that was open u til 4am. The restaurant s were great and Augustine was a standout with their French Austrian cuisine. The smoked salmon omelette with lemon creme fraische and chive was outstanding.
This review is for the restaurant downstairs. While visiting NYC, we came here because we heard the interior was beautiful - and it was. The venue has an old charm of a gentlemens club (the rich kind, not the sleezy kind). Looking up youll see incredible lines from the hotel floor railings. It truly is gorgeous. The service, however, was non-existent. The restaurant wasnt crowded at all and there seemed to be plenty of staff around, but no one bothered with us. It took them almost 10 minutes to simply come over for a simple drink order. The food was great - very tasty, but the lack of service ruined the experience for us. I recommend you come to see the beauty and architecture, but I wouldnt have high expectations when it comes to their service.
The hotel itself is exquisitely beautiful, with impeccable taste, and boasts attention to detail, at every turn. Wonderful. The staff memebers make you feel like royalty. Every encounter with a staff member is a highlight of your hotel stay. The rooms are pleasant and well appointed-the shower/bathroom is large and a highlight-5 Star. The bed and bedding are phenomenal. The bar area is fantastic, the food is fantastic, the French adjoining restaurant is fantastic, and all meals are fit for foodies. Food is WOW! The cocktails and I tried many of them are some of the best I have drank. Anyone in the hotel industry will or should take notice, and I mean this on every level of quality of the hotel itself others should emulate the Beekman. If Im real though, and I always am, the hotel is noisy, at all hrs, until 2+ am, particularly on the weekends. The main issue is the atrium style-which garderns the unique and true beauty or style of the hotel itself. The speakeasy style bar, on the main floor of the hotel, is located at the bottom of the atrium. The noise travels up through the atrium up to the outside of your guest room and into your room. For guests of the pub/restaurant this is pure eye-candy, truly beautiful. For guests of the hotel, it is loud, my 1 and only knock on the Beekman. If you are the type of person that is going to enjoy what the hotel has to offer, lets say until the very early next-day morning, you are going to say that this is the best hotel that you have stayed at. If rest is your goal-then you could have a challenge staying on any of the lower floors open to the atrium. The lounge is extremely popular with the locals, and I would suggest getting your name in and early, if you wish to enjoy your own hotel. I believe that they should ask guests if they are staying at the hotel and give them preferential treatment to the facilities at their own hotel, not having to wait 40 min to sit at your hotels lounge. All and all though, you want this hotel in your portfolio.
Great staff, very personable. its a nice building but missing a few things. however the concierge says they have plans to add most of those things soon. its a new hotel so understandable. overall its a great experience and Ill definitely book again for my next trip to NY.
Very friendly staff and a nice hotel close to Wall Street. I truly loved the architecture and the location of the hotel. There are great shopping places nearby like Century 21 😊Also the hotel has a great bar downstairs that you can have your dinner and grab a few drinks.Highly recommended to people who would like to enjoy their stay in a great location in NYC.
Weve been frequenting the Beekman for about 4 years now. It certainly has gotten a lot of much deserved attention since we initially discovered it. I always anticipate another return visit. What a beautiful escape! The staff are incredibly attentive. The rooms are beautiful with great amenities. As a guest, the convenience of the most perfect cocktail or lovely meal is just outside your door... Or a phone call down to room service if you want to stay in. If you are in NYC and choose to stay somewhere else, at least stop in for a drink or a walk and experience this jewel!
The Beekman is a nice place but the service is not that good anymore, especially at the front desk. Since the first day, weve been poorly received, and the receptionists are arrogant and haughty. Moreover, house keeping and cleaning could be better. Overall, we had a trouble with a belonging that disappeared in the room the day before we left. When we asked for it before leaving, the security manager swore that it was not in their log, neither inside the room, that they double-checked everything and they just didn’t have it. We threatened to file a police report. One hour after, when I came back to the front desk, my case just miraculously appears and the women told me that it was just inside the room that they had not check it before… even if the security manager told us totally the opposite one-hour before. When we said that they were giving us to different versions, and that somebody of the staff had probably tried to steal the case from us, they just lord it over us and they keep going with their arrogant and haughty attitude. What a shame!!!!
This hotel is amazing. They did a fantastic job renovating this hiatoric office building into a hotel. You have to check it out, even if you just walk in for a visit. The food at the Time Court is excellent (I recommend the Hash or the Duck at brunch), and the Alley Cat bar is very unique and worth checking out. Such attention to detail across the entire building.
Service is excellent. Vibe is trendy and fun. Stayed for business. Every detail was attended to. Noisy on a Tuesday night till middle of night. Second floor room around lounge was a bit too close but it all went away when I hit the pillow and fell asleep. Will be back. Rooms were clean and perfect. Close to everything downtown. 3 block walk to 9/11 museum. Very quiet block.
Ive been to The Beekman twice now, once for a week long business trip, and once with my daughter for her first trip to NYC and both times were top notch!During our business trip the hotel staff was super helpful in getting our rooms ready to be converted into office spaces and made sure we had everything we needed to make our jobs a success. The catering/events manager Tiffany was a huge part of that success. When I returned a few weeks later with my daughter the hotel staff was once again super warm and welcoming, helping us find new local area restaurants to walk to, get tickets to shows, and find our way around the city. I highly recommend The Beekman!
Went to the speakeasy Alley Cat underneath the hotel. You have to go in through a separate entrance on a side alley. Was a very nice space, good ambiance. We were in a semi private room that we shared with two other parties, so it got pretty loud and echo-y. I had two drinks, one which was not good and one that was decent. Both were $16.
Very nice design hotel in financial district. I love kind of dark modern art pictures everywhere and lot of very stylish details. Rooms are very confortable, staff is very friendly. Wifi works 100%. Position of the hotel is perfect its only 3min from Fulton St metro, and maybe 6 min by the foot from Ground zero and Wall street. In bar and hotel is very interesting modern lounge music, I love it.
Our room was not ready on time. I told them I needed to get ready for a play and dinner, I was told to use a bathroom. They told us our room was to be ready asap, 2 hours later no room. When asked about our room it was ready they never called. Offered 2 drink coupons. Went to use coupons and told try the bar its a 1.5 hour wait for a table. Sat at bar, saw empty tables everywhere asked a different person and was seated right away. Not sure why they have poor communication here. Rooms are nice. Since writing this review I have found out that their system for keeping clients information was hacked. My information was one of the ones taken. Not only bad service, but poor security measures.
The gentle*** behind the front desk was extremely nice in welcoming us. Make sure you ask for a quiet room. The decor and styling is gorgeous and the staff are just wonderful. The best hotel in the area that Ive stayed at and will be recommending very highly to work colleagues.
I work in the neighborhood and the bar at Temple Court is a go-to when taking clients out. The drinks get an A+, and service is great, too. While I havent yet tried their small bites, you are served complimetary spicy almonds and delicious olives to accompany your beverages. The view of the atrium and the richly designed atmosphere make for a cozy and beautiful space.
Hands down, the best hotel Ive ever stayed at. The location wasnt bad at all since your close to the 9/11 memorial and Chinatown as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. I would make a suggestion to ***agement that they train their servers to be as friendly and attentive as the front of the house. We were well taken care of.
This us a great boutique hotel in the financle district. We had a very spacious 2 room suite with blackout automatic curtains and a super comfortable bed which make it easy to sleep in . We had people up to our room to hang out before or after dinner and it was nice to have the separate powder room for them to use.The staff was very accommodating and our room kept very clean during our 4 night stay. They have 2 resteraunts in the hotel and a cocktail lounge in between them. We ate in both resteraunts, they were both superb, but I loved the French one with very authentic frites. We had breakfast our first day ordered through room service and it was nice, typical hotel selection.
I stayed a week ago on a Sunday night, and although the hotel was very well maintained w/ rooms on the small side, I would be rating it a 4.5 star had I not been woken up by construction booming / pounding noises that started at 7am and never stopped. If you get a room make sure you arent adjacent to the concrete building they are constructing adjacent to this hotel, unless you dont mind being woken up by Jumanji style drum booms from 7am on... I feel like the hotel should alert you to this at check in, and given the option to not be on that side of the building, especially when rooms retail at $400+ a night for a small (but nice) boutique hotel. I had an important test at 930am and really could have used the extra 90 minutes of sleep.
Hands down on of the most enjoyable hotel stays I have ever experienced. The staff was friendly and courteous, the building decor and ambience exceptional, and the rooms clean and decorated to highlight the history of the property. I will be staying at the Beekman any time I am in NY.Thank you once again to the staff at the Beekman hotel for a memorable experience!!
Absolutely beautiful and service is great but still a bit disappointing. We stayed 2 nights and could hear the lobby bar ( and our neighbors) all night long. And the lobby bar is cold and drafty on this snowy December day, even all the way in the back away from the door. There are so many great hotels in NYC. I will stay elsewhere next time.
Amazing hotel with great history. The rooms are comfy with fantastic bedding, amenities, and large bathrooms with rain fall shower heads. The lobby, lounge, and bar areas are also elegant. All of the cast iron and stone work is original, from the 1800s. Apparently Edgar Allan Poe and Henry David Thoreau stayed here.
The combination of a unique hotell and all the great reviews made us book a room with great expectations. I love the lower ***hattan neighborhood near Wall Street and the native American Indian Museum. The new Colicchio restaurant opens soon and the lobby bar and dining is going to be fantastic.
I stayed 4 nights at The Beekman. It is a beautiful old hotel, remodeled to perfection. The staff that greet you at the door and at check in are awesome, friendly and very welcome. Rooms are big, lots of natural light with large windows, comfortable beds, and a large bathroom. The Fulton Street subway is two blocks away. 10 minute walk to the World Trade Center or to the start of the walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. One of the best hotels I have stayed in while visiting NYC.
My first night staying at the Beekman. Its an amazing hotel with impeccable service and outstanding amenities. The history behind the building and its architecture is a big bonus. I had an exceptional meal at the restaurant and everything about it was perfect, including the service. Congratulations to the hotel management and staff.
Probably one of the best hotels in downtown Manhattan/FiDi, impeccably restored to its former glory. The vibe is trendy without being obnoxious, while the design choices evoke the bygone area of the 1920’s, but with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a luxury 21st century hotel. The staff is uniformly nice, even the custom scent that permeates the hallways and foyer is divine.Get the largest room you can afford, as they cheapest ones are minuscule.
It’s all about location and staff! Cody at reception, the concierge, cleaning and the porters where all phenomenal. There is some construction goodness around the hotel but the staff are very accommodating. Wonderful gym facilities and location. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely worth it. Concierge and front desk staffs are very helpful, they provide a great itinerary for travellers visiting NYC. If you know the right guy, he might be able to pull some strings to get you a reservation in a famous restaurant. (PS: no chance for Blue Hill. Dont even try)
Awsome hotel. Loved it. Great hospitality. Its not a big deal however for ppl who like their room cool at night, our room wasnt very cool. It doesnt help that theres no circulation without a ceiling fan. Thats me being picky for an expensive room.. I would definitely stay there again..
Phenomenal design work in this 1870s architectural wonder. The doormen and bellmen greet you with a sincere greeting and smile. The customer service by every member of the staff was impeccable. I really loved everything about my stay and plan to return when I am in NY again on business.
Warm wood tones, textural rug patterns, and an impressive soaring atrium provides a truly unique luxury hotel experience in lower ***hattan. Only at 10 minute walk to Soho/Tribeca. As you walk into this amazing lobby it makes you feel like you are back in the 1800s. The room was just outstanding.
The hotel is very eclectic with top notch service. I was disappointed the gym was not yet ready but they gave us free passes to the blink next door. I dont think many people use the passes because the blink didnt know what to do with my pass. The decor is amazing. The leather wall paper in the elevator to...
I travel to NYC every week, and this is by far the best and most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at in the city. The building is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are spacious, the water pressure in the shower is just right, and the bar.... well, go check it out for yourself! :)
I had a terrific experience here. It was my first time in NY and this particular hotel has everything you need if you are looking for a five star comfort and premium service experience for lodging. They also have all the resources you would need for either checking out the city as a tourist (they have a car w/chauffeur thats first come first serve as long as weather is allowed within a mile or so of building) including concsierge service and official five star doorman. I was very impressed with the hotel, and the deal I subsquently was able to recieve by booking the room for one night 3 months ahead. There are generally rooms available here as this is a newly renovated and looking brand new but old(that rustic old Victorian NY high class look) hotel. If you choose this hotel you will live, dine, sleep, play, and breathe a comfortable sigh of relief here as this hotel was the best experience I have ever had.(I have probably only stayed in about a dozen hotels over the course of my life, but this one raised the bar)
Our second stay in 6 months. Excellent hotel, amazing property, totally unique interior, the like of which you are not going to find anywhere in Manhattan, guaranteed.Creative room design, bordering on quirky, in a good sense.Biggest fitness center we have seen at any hotel, ever; it is located on two levels: 3rd floor offers several machines, actually a good choice of them, and the 2nd floor (accessible via spiral staircase from the former) features quite a few elliptical machines and treadmills.Decent food at the Temple Court, by the famous Chef Tom Colicchio.Somewhat affordable parking right around the corner, on Beekman St.
WOW, stayed on Friday of Labor Day weekend and we could not be more impressed. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. We received a text stating our room would be ready by 3pm since prior to our arrival we were sent an emailin regards to selecting our pre arrival information etc.
The bar host at Temple Court bar was both extremely rude and arrogant. We flew in from Sydney Australia to surprise our friends & unfortunately our first impression of the Beekman was marred by an unprofessional employee. On a positive note, our dining experience at Augustine was wonderful - the staff were attentive, friendly & professional.
“Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere!”Loved this hotel. Stayed for five nights with my daughter in a DeLuxe King. Beautifully designed room with a verý comfotable bed. The bathroom was spacious and just perfect. Staff was very friendly and immediately made us feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to every type of guest. Perfect location and just stunningly beautiful!
Ive never written a review before, but felt obligated after my stay here. From the moment one walks into The Beekman, you can sense the pride and care that went into creating this beautiful hotel. it is visually stunning, and is coupled with true hospitality from each and every staff member. They paid attention to every detail, and have magically...
My wife and I have stayed in a number of very nice hotels in NYC and I can say that the Beekman is not nearly worth the price they charge for a room. We stayed in the Premium King room and there was nothing premium about it. The was a king size bed and the bathroom had a waterfall shower, but that is the most I can say of the room. The windows are not well soundproofed, so a noisy car, truck or emergency vehicle will be enoigh to wake you at night. The staff are very friendly, but do not seem to have been well trained (we spent the first 15 minutes after check-in waiting for the bellhop that disappeared with our room keys). The decor of the hotel is missing the fine touches that separate the mediocre from the good. And the sound system for the lobby music by the concierge is coming from a small portable speaker on the floor. All in all, my wife and I were very disappointed with our stay.
Boutique hotel with a lot of potential in a great location downtown close to 9/11 memorial. Service tends to be slow and unpredictable (eg breakfast meal somehow served before my coffee, check took forever to arrive, in-room dining menu out of date with items unavailable). I have visited twice and unfortunately can no longer be put down to teething issues.
Just went to the bar for a few drinks with friends. Cocktails are expensive, coming in around $20 a pop, though pretty standard for cocktails in Manhattan. The space is beautiful though. Decent date spot, if you happen to be in FiDi, and the small plates and bean soup were also pretty good. Probably a spot Id bring visitors to, but cant imagine coming back for anything else.

2022-05-24The Beekman is such a lovely hotel. I stayed here for a few days and had such a great experience. As others have mentioned, it’s ideally located and in close proximity of a lot of great destinations. It was a plus being so close to the Brooklyn Bridge and the World Trade Center. I had breakfast daily and was impressed each and every time. In room dining fare from Temple Court was also fantastic. The service was top notch, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the service at the bar. My only complaint was the room was a little warm even with the AC cranked all the way up. Overall, I had a great experience and I’ll plan to stay here again.

2022-06-23Ambiance is the draw here. Room is very quiet. the staff are very friendly, especially the server Michelle at the breakfast who was very helpful and attentive. when i asked about the history of the building, she even provided a booklet that tells about the arts and history. And my husband has an allergy to a certain fruit and she removed it from the fruit salad for him. excellent service! Food is so-so but that’s not what we came here for.

2022-05-09The hotel is a very nice hotel. Beautiful hotel lobby as well as the bar/dining area.. The room was clean and a good size -compared to other hotels in NYC.. Centrally located to different neighborhoods - convenient to get around.. Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge, World Trade Center... 15-25 min cab rides to get around to different areas (depending day, time & weather).. The staff was very helpful. Special thank you to Daniel K. (at the bar) for being very helpful with my wine selection and taking the time going over the wine & making a great martini - when the bar was busy with people.

2022-04-07The level of service at the Beekman was top-notch. Wow is this hotel beautiful on the inside. The rooms are also adorned with luxury. If you want to have a gorgeous stay in the Financial District of Manhattan, this is the place to stay. They also have adjoining rooms for those of you with kids. We managed to get some time in the penthouse thanks to some friends of ours. Its an amazing penthouse with two stories, two balconies and a view of the bridge. Just...wow! Ali, the rooms manager, was one of the best hotel managers we have ever dealt with in our travels. The concierge was available both in-person and via text and they arranged for fantastic restaurants in Little Italy and Greenwich Village for us. Again, you must try out the Beekman. Must.

2022-06-29My partner and I decided to spend a long weekend in Manhattan and I was looking for a cute place around seaport and I found this awesome hotel. I hoped my room was bigger but the hotel is totally Unique and worth visiting. My favorite part of the hotel is def the Resturant with the bar. They have amazing food and great drinks but the best part of this restaurant is the server Michelle. Honestly I couldn’t ask for a better server! She’s beyond a great server, she’s nice, funny and she cares about every single person in the restaurant. Thank you for making every breakfast special and fun. Will def go back! Cheers

2022-06-20This hotel is awesome! It has a lot of character and was just opened in 2016.The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean! The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are an American Express Platinum card holder look up the perks you are eligible to in this property through The Hotel Collection; it was so worth it!We are making this hotel our NY GO-to whenever we are in town.

2022-02-17My new hide away.I had booked a room for my ex and I, who surprisingly dumped me before Valentine’s Day. I decided to go anyway and was welcomed by an incredible staff. My room got upgraded to a junior suite, which was absolutely stunning, and the amenities were phenomenal. The atrium was gorgeous and makes you feel like you time slip into the era when the Brooklyn Bridge was being built a few blocks away. The interesting part is that this building was already there when that happened. So there’s historical allure.Michelle at the bar room was very welcoming and seemed to float about gracefully. My Valentine’s Day couldn’t have gone any better. For that day at least. For a day at least, reality could wait. For a day at least, no one could find me.For a day at least, I travelled back in time.

2022-04-22My family and I stayed here for our wedding in November. For the price I was not happy with the service. We had booked a suite along with multiple wedding guest that weekend. I called in the morning to see if the room was ready, they said yes. When I got there it was not ready making it very difficult to properly store all of the wedding stuff prior to our rehearsal that night. I was unable to get ready in the suite we booked and had to get ready in another guests room since the room wasn’t ready until after 5pm. When I booked I was told the suite would have a little something for us after the wedding, maybe rose petals or nicely placed towels, to my surprise we didn’t even get the basic room service cleaning. I reached out to the coordinator about it my dissatisfaction and heard nothing back. We spent a lot of money that weekend and the experience was not up to par. Yes, the hotel is absolutely stunning but they need to work on their service especially for a bride and groom staying the weekend.

2022-05-09Clean, beautiful and quiet room. The architecture is stunning. Friendly and helpful staff. I moved here in the middle of my trip because the first hotel in Soho, the Mercer, was noisy. I requested a quiet room and slept well at the Beekman. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
