Delicious vegan food for your buck! Turkish food without the meat! Healthy & tastes unique. Squeeze the lemon on the mixed dish of flavors, gives a whole new taste. Made with different pastes and spices.Spot is open during pandemic! Great service! They have a city location too.
Excitedly visited for first time today - 1st, as a longtime strict vegan(12yrs+), Im so elated to finally have a good-quality-natural-healthy vegan restaurant close/in my neighborhood! Next, I just ate my food(vegan Kofte wrap), one word: DEEEEEELLLLIIIICCCIIIOOOOUUSSSS!!😄 Totally the BEST raw wrap I have ever had! Experience and service was also OUTSTANDING; the amazing young woman who took care of me: Maden & Buse was truly FABULOUS! Thank you! I willllll beeee back for sure & I will definitely bring/recommend my family and friends!! Nefistas officially added to my vegan favs list!😂TRY THIS PLACE EVERYONE! VEGANS(& NON VEGANS) WILL ASSUREDLY BE PLEASED!
Anyone looking for a vegan, healthy treat: this is your place!! The store is super clean! The people who work here are super friendly and informative on what is “cig kofte” They gave me a flyer to keep that explains it more depth. This has been my “must eat a least once a week” food!
Finally some cig kofte in Brooklyn! It is delicious and we love that it’s vegan so we don’t feel guilty eating it! My favorite besides the traditional wrap & plate is the soft shell tacos. Definitely a favorite and will continue coming back! The employees are super friendly as well!
Good small spot in the heart of Sheepshead bay. Its perfect for veterinarians or vegans who wants to order sandwiches to go. There is sitting outside but there is no bathroom. I loved their concept of koftah. They use vegan koftah as the base for all the dishes. You can get either koftah sushi, koftah platter, etc.
Every time I visit this area I want to dine in this place. The most important thing that I care a lot about is taste and customer service. The food is really delicious and the employees are very nice to customers. I eat tacos 🌮 the most in this place and really suggest you to visit and experience it.Thank you so much for your SERVICE and FOOD

2022-07-28Unfortunately this place is not open during the posted business hours on here. We came around 11:30 AM on Wednesday to grab some food from white people say is the best gyro in the city, but it wasn’t open! I would definitely not come to this area solely for the restaurant as you shouldn’t rely on their times.Luckily there are so many good restaurants right around here, so we didn’t miss out on anything. I recommend Burchak Pide or Fuel as 2 other options.

2021-05-25My cousin has been raving about this spot since it’s opened. I figured I needed to take a break from meat but it’s been especially difficult because I love kebabs. Nefista was amazing! The chick peas were so soft and thoroughly cooked and deliciously seasoned. The wrap was delicious as well. I loved all the toppings especially the pickle. Will definitely return.

2022-06-09Good food + the best customer service. The man (I never caught his name unfortunately) was insanely kind and even let me and my SO sample some vegan meat and assured us that we’ll have the best gyros ever when he overheard me being disappointed by another gyro place in the area. He was right!!! They were soooo good and pretty cheap. Definitely coming back

2021-01-25As I was looking for a frozen yogurt place with my daughter, Nefista Vegan Kofte immediately caught my eye. I just had to try this food since I never heard of vegan Turkish cuisine. I entered the location. It was clean, organized, and well-lit. The lady working there was very pleasant. I asked her what kind of food this place served and she gave me a thorough explanation. Cig kofte is a very old traditional Turkish food that was originally made with raw meat. She explained that since restaurants in Turkey were not able to prepare this dish properly, many people who ate this dish got sick. Eventually a decision was made throughout Turkey to formulate an all-vegan version of this popular dish. I ordered a wrap and observed her prepare it for me. She smeared the vegan kofteh throughout the entire wrap, then added lettuce, tomatoes, and other chopped vegetables to it. The actual kofte is made of bulgur wheat, Anatolian red peppers, chili peppers, walnuts, tomato paste, pepper paste, and several other all natural ingredients. When she was done preparing it, she included a small container of pomegranate sauce to add to the wrap. Eating the wrap was heavenly. With every bite I took, an explosion of spicy flavors hit my taste buds. Texture-wise, there was a combination of eating the soft salad inside surrounded by the crunchy, spicy kofte throughout. Nefista Vegan Kofteh is now a franchise with several stores throughout NY and NJ. I am glad that Brooklyn now has one, and its in Sheepshead Bay, only a 10-minute drive from my house. The place offers their signature vegan kofte in sushi form, taco form (soft or crunchy), and in a lettuce wrap as well. For dessert, the place also serves baklava which Id like to try on my next visit. To all my vegan friends both near and far: you MUST check this place out, for tasting is believing!

2021-03-05I love Çiğ Köfte. I didnt have a store that makes Çiğ Köfte near my house. Then I found out about Nefista and I fell in love with Çiğ Köfte even more. It is a delicious Turkish food and it is vegan. So its a perfect food for almost anyone.I would strongly recommend you to come try it.

2022-03-18Have been a huge nefista fan and regular customer since the place opened up and really did love the place/food. They’re service and consistency, however, has become sloppy and honestly not too good. Just ordered some chickpea bowls from Uber eats with specific topping requests that were completely ignored as they clearly put whatever toppings they wanted to/had in stock. I requested the sauces be sent on the side but, instead, received no sauces at all. This isn’t the first time they’ve dropped the ball as there have been quite a few times I called to order this same chickpea bowl, yet they were out of chickpeas. How can you be out of one of the main ingredients on your menu? They’ve skimped with portion size and overall quality. Not too sure if I’ll be ordering again any time soon. Super disappointed.
