Comfort, professionalism, and proficiency are three of the great qualities that first come to mind when thinking about the Brewery. Any artist that is looking to be plugged in to the music scene should look to experience this recording studio, as being in there is an inspirational experience in and of itself. Widely regarded as the best recording studio in BK, I would easily stretch that and say its the best in all of NYC by far. Oh and it doesnt hurt that they have platinum selling engineers and producers behind the boards willing and very able to take your music to the next level!
BEST IN NY. I have had a few sessions here and every single one was better than the last. You cannot find a better vibe anywhere on the east coast. Perfect environment to excel creatively. I was able to work with Andrew and Joe Grasso and was never let down with either engineer. Top notch studio at a great rate. Can not wait to book some sessions in LA. IG:@silkalmighty
The staff at The Brewery has always been super nice and really helpful. It is a group of fairly young professionals so they have a fresh take on music and producing you wont fine many other places. They have pretty flexible hours so you can record on your own schedule which is great.
I decided to come to this studio to lay down some vocals for my song based on there good google reviews. However, based on my 1st visit to there studio,I will not be returning or recommending anyone to this studio. When I visited there studio for the 1st time to lay down vocals this month.I had to stand and wait outside there studio building for almost 1 hour because no one opened the door for me even though I was constantly ringing there bell. There was even a camera, and an intercom and still I was kept waiting outside for almost an hour until I was finally buzzed in by a staff member. It felt like the staff saw me through the camera and heard me ringing the bell but chose not to buzz me in.This was very much an unacceptable and uncomfortable situation for me to be in.I never had this type of problem before with any other studio or establishment. To make matters worse.I had called there studio and left a voice message(since no one answered the phone even though it was after 12pm) to let them know that I was waiting outside of there studio for my session and ringing there bell.I also left a text message and emailed them.I never received a response from Don the booking manager or the studio to my voice message, text,or email. My messages were completly ignored.Even after I left the studio, no one has ever responded to my messages or even issued an apology to assure me that something like this would not happen again.I emailed them again to make them be aware of what happened that day and still no one has responded back to me.Yet they responded back to me very quickly when I contacted them to inquire about booking and paying for a session with there studio. So due to this I no longer feel comfortable coming back to this studio.Once they got my money that is when they showed there true colors.I will rather go to a studio that respects me as a paying client and as a person rather than a studio with good online reviews that will disrespect and ignore there client after paying them there hard earned money.
The Brewery is an ultra-professional studio with a very low-key vibe. The engineers are all really helpful and extremely experienced. For a studio of this size, with its type of client list, the Brewery is an extremely affordable studio and the quality of music coming out of this place speaks for itself.
Im a 16 year old artist. I was surprised to hear about all the amazing artists that recorded there and when I went for my first time they were extremely friendly and helped me, in the process of becoming a new artist. They are very professional and have amazing equipment, knowledgable and extremely qualified engineers that can help you out in any way you need.I personally work with Justin Klatzko, he is very friendly and is extremely good at his job. I would recommend this studio for anyone. A beginner artist to a well established one this is the place to go!
The Brewery Recording studio is home to some of the best engineers and producers in the business. From PRKR, Dot Da Genius, RC Bankwell, and Woodro Skillson If you want your sound tight, you need to come here and see these guys. Andrew has built this studio with his very own hands and a vision for greatness, and its easy to see once your sitting in the control room. When ever my artists are in NYC this is where I send them.
Hands down the best and most affordable recording studio in New York City. They have the best engineers and best producers if you want a good quality sound you must visit this studio is heavily known threw out the underground hip hop seen and artist like kid cudi have recorded major record.. 10 out of 10 for this facility
Seems like one of the best recording studios for both signed and new independent artists- so they must be doing great things!! Love love the tracks produced here with Kid cudi(mainly, pls give me tickets for the show in nyc 8/6/17 at the summer stage in central park for my boyfriends birthday!!) and others like kehlani, jhene aiko and skrillex!!
Ive been going to the Brewery for about 3 years there quality of sounds is not like no other. I work wit Bryan he is onE of the dopest engineer in the studio. Also Andrew the studio is owner is a dope engineer and the vibes u get once u walk in the studio is like no other
The Brewery is a place where an artist can bring their projects to life and be embraced by the staff and even have them support it! I have continuously recommended it to every artist I have encountered because this is a place that every artist needs to visit to take their sound to the next level.

2022-02-19This place is genuinely incredible. They go above and beyond. I had an urgent timeline on a recording - they got back to me instantly, immediately called an engineer and got me in the studio in less than 2 hours. Then the engineer, Mark, stayed late for us to make sure we had everything we needed. The studio itself is phenomenal, both in its capabilities and in its design. Top notch. This is the spot.

2018-04-24Absolutely fantastic!!! I cant even begin to say how amazing this establishment is.Booking is a breeze with their online booking service on the website and plus you get to pick from a roster of engineers that specialize in different genres.Prices are great, the deal we always get is the early bird special. The time slot is from 6 am to 10 am but that comes with an engineer and and an extra hour free (4 hours total) for only 300$.We started recording our album with Justin and Max, both of whom are knowledgeable and extremely helpful towards direction and suggestions. Our tracks are coming out great, and we cant wait to get back.Plus the atmosphere is great, wood paneling everywhere and a rooftop patio to smoke. Couches, mini fridges, a little bar you can fill up, etc etc.Totally recommend, 5 out 5.

2020-11-11Ive been recording music over at BRS in Brooklyn for a little over 2 years now. The vibes are always high when I create there. All of their studio equipment is state of the art and the facility itself is clean and organized. They offer affordable packages too. If youre an independent artist in NY looking for a space to record ... this is thee place. My go to guy is Justin Klatzko.

2014-03-17I was searching online for studios to book for my artist and I came across the Brewery. It just seemed like a cool spot that wasnt too intimidating. Booking our session was super simple. Weve never been in a legit studio before and when we got there it just felt right. Our engineer was very professional and helpful. The atmosphere was comfortable and the vibe was on point. Everything about this studio was great and I cant wait to be back.

2014-03-19I was witness to the Brewery while it was being built and was since there pretty much since Day 1 (I guess even before day 1), so you could safely say that I have seen the evolution throughout the years. It is one of my favorite studios ever and the people there are amazing. They know what they are doing and I love this place. I have spent many sleepless nights and days here writing and recording. They are always looking for ways to improve the place and it really shows. I can def say that Andrew personally puts in a lot of effort over the years to make it a really great spot from acoustics to appearance. I support this studio and I am currently recording my EP here. As a signed songwriter (Sony), I hope it holds some weight when I say that I have been in a lot of studio over the years and I like this one as one of my faves :)
