Everything my husband and I ate was tasty and fresh!! The chicken quesadillas and the appetizer sample with the buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and jalapeno pepper poppers were so filling and tasty I didnt have much room to eat the main course. I also enjoyed the pink lemonade frozen drink❤The outside dining experience was great, everyone was socially distancing👌🏽
First off, this is the worst restaurant I ever went to. I ordered burger and fries. The burger and meat was burnt, like seriously burnt, when I swallowed the meat I almost choked and it scraped my throat, the burnt part. I then ordered the nachos...tasted worst than school lunch. The workers didn’t do their best job. They were on their phones a lot of the time and most of them looked like they had just been picked up off the streets, with no uniform, just regular clothes with purses. The plates were not even clean when given. Music was good but way too loud. The tables weren’t even clean. Honestly if you want to visit this restaurant just order fries. That’s the only good thing on the menu.
They have on their website unlimited brunch drinks and even handed me a menu that said unlimited brunch drinks. But I had to wait till I was about to order to be informed that they are no longer offering unlimited brunch drinks. I feel as if your not offering something it shouldn’t be in the menu that I’m handed. The service was good but don’t mislead ppl just an FYI
Basic tacos, good nachos and great drinks. The service is terrible if you aren’t a local. I was skipped a bunch of times by people who came after me with a similar group size. The hostess told me is was because they knew the owner. If you aren’t a local or don’t fit the demographic of the area I would arrive early (before 5pm)
Just left this place, Went with four of my friends for my birthday and this was this was the first and last time I will ever go. Service was not that great and the food was lacking in flavor. Burrito was good, but the rest of our food was mediocre. (lack of seasoning in chicken on salad, not even salt!) We asked several times for water and chips and never got them! They swiped our bill without asking us if it was set. They charged my friend the full amount on her carf before realizing there was cash in the cash sleeve of the bill folder. (Really couldnt check in the cash sleeve first?) The waiter fixed the bill, but we were definitely dissatisfied with the service. If you like proper service and seasoned food, avoid this place!
Super casual. Local West End funky and lively joint. Lots of us walk or bicycle to get here. You can be sitting next to families or young foursomes grabbing a bite before they go bar hopping. Or maybe you end up here after an afternoon on the boardwalk. The food is ok to good.
Normally when I come I come for the tacos and the rice and beans and Im never dissatisfied! But this time I came for the drinks and live music!!! The place gets busy around 1130 or so but I think thats only bc there was a town wide water warning. When I come here for late dinner the place is packed by 10... Apparently there frozen margaritas is where its at and everyone comes for that mainly... On top of live music. Thats why I came down the Dave Diamond Band was playing as we walked by and we stopped and stayed for two maybe three hours it was great, sat at the bar drinks were good price the bartenders are great ppl and know when to buy back a drink when you are dropping money to DRINK. I feel like a lot of destination town dont do that. When I travel bartenders rarely buy back. This is my home time but I dont go out alot, the few times I have its always a good time
Actually disgusting service. Went for a private party on a Saturday afternoon and left my bag by accident. Was greatly helped and told they had it and wrote down my name and phone number. Went back the next day to pick it up to find all my cash (100$) stolen from my wallet. 5$? Fine you take it. 100$? Disgusting.
I had high hopes going in. Especially after a great day at the beach and boardwalk. Hungry for great mexican food and a refreshing adult beverage we showed up on a busy Saturday night hoping specifically for an outdoor table. A 30-minute wait gave us just enough time to steal off to the beach for a quick walk to the water and back. Unfortunately the romantic night hit a sour note with bad service, lackluster food and disappointing drinks. The fajitas were far from sizzling when they arrived and the burrito with just cheese was just that. No meat, beans or anything. A total mistake to say the least! Our server was MIA most of the night too. Im sure the special dinner nights and drinks are great for locals but a busy Saturday night is not their finest hour. Ill give it a second chance next time I hit the LB.
Service was good always there and very attentive. Didnt know the fish of the day...ok she was a kid no big deal. Margarita strong but tasty A+. Ordered the 3 chik soft taco meal w rice and beans. Chicken was both white and dark meat didnt know that i dont like dark meat. The chicken also was a little slimy/fatty w chunks of chicken. The rice was very bland and the black beans. Well Goya in the can had a little more flavor. Sorry I was told to go for the chicken taco but was very disappointed. A place to go for drinks. Sorry Cabana
Never met anyone here but my husband just got fired from there. Supervisor or whoever she is name Marge is very unprofessional and racist .. Cant wait till shes finally fired as well. Food is nasty too from what he use to bring home ! I will report her !!! And this establishment if shes not dealt with . shes very disrespectful dont know how she landed that position
Horrible experience!! Had mild food Postion and threw up heavy when returned home, about 10 times. Went to long beach this past Saturday with friends and stumbled there after the beach, group of 5 couples and a baby girl. My friends wife had been there before and she suggested it. I had the quesadilla with shrimp (horrible) , Cajun chicken tacos (sickening) and tried the white sangria with apples which we had to return. The sangria was overly sweet and made you nauseous if you drank more than a sip. My friends brother in law ordered the mussels which he returned , they were unattable. Also, had to return the lemonade that my wife ordered. It was not lemonade, the waitress said they had to change the tap. Trust me, Im not one to complain about food. I was not expecting a Zagat rated place but was not expecting to get sick either. I have a yahoo email and had to search for my lost Gmail password to write this review. Plus I never spend time writing reviews, good or bad. That speaks volume of how bad my experience was.The only thing that everyone enjoyed were the chips with guacamole. I would say, visit at your own risk.
I give one star for the location and another star for our waitress. Yes Im from out of town and i took my family here 2-3 time per week during summer time bur i must say this place is below average. What get me upset was that everything was dirty. Please look inside that jar of water before you drink it.
Good mexican-american food, and a great location for visiting with the kids. The frozen margueritas were perfect, excellent portion sizes and the shrimp avocado quesedilla especially hit the spot. Parking was a hassle, but they had live music when I went (Sour Bridges all the way from Austin TX!!) and there is a spray park across the street which was perfect when the kids got bored.
Just ok, but its just a novelty beach side eatery, not a great quality Tex-Mex place...food is satisfactory to very good on certain dishes...its more a bar place, do hate how tables near bar are always sticky...people are allowed to smoke on outside tables and with all windows open travelling inside is a horrible eating experience but the staff was nice enough to accomodate and have them refrain after we complained
What i loved about our trip to this hidden spot was that it made you honestly feel like you were on vacation while we knew we clearly werent . Both my Boyfriend and i spent less then 26.00. We both were pleasantly surprised as we spoke to the Bartender with the red hair that although this was in Long Beach Long Island that her frozen drink was a far catch from what we were use to when we order in fire island . Hers was a toss up of a pina colada and a twist of strawberry syrup which made me feel very warm inside almost as if i was sipping down a strawberry shortcake. yummy . After she shared hers with us we exchanged our favorite with her called Rocket Fuel . This is a blend of Pina Colada, Bacardi 151, half a red bull and, topped off with amaretto. This drink is a very popular drink in fire island but, what i found was so strange is not one person in the cabana in long beach knew of it. so that day we ended our stay with delicious wings all under 26.00 that to me was a nice spontaneous trip along the shores of Long Island so i will absolutely pass it on and go again myself

2022-02-13Very cool Mexican rock-n-roll surf bar restaurant in the heart of Long Beach’s West End. I had awesome vegan tacos made with fresh roasted sweet potato, jalapeño and corn. My brother had the chicken quesadilla, which was large enough to take some home. We were also given a basket of homemade tortilla chips with two different salsas before ordering. All in all, a very pleasant experience and we will be back!

2022-06-11Had to be the worst tacos Ive ever had, i bit in to it and realized the soft taco was not even cooked or even touched the grill at all, idk whos in the back cooking but that taco was no good. Way over priced, I had 6 tacos and 2 empanadas and it was over $40. I couldnt even enjoy the food at all even after trying. If I were u I would never ever come to this nasty disgusting place.

2017-06-15Good kids menu and all the adult food was well done too. Not a big fan of paid refills for soft drinks. Great playground across the street.

2020-11-16I went here after reading the great reviews, but unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. Besides the kind staff, food and drinks were very, but very poor. The only vegetarian options I could find were the veggies tacos, but they were very tasteless. And with poor quality food, I at least expected drinks to make up for it, but they also were very disappointing. We literally had to go next door to have a decent meal. I would highly discourage anyone from visiting this place until quality improves across the board.
