Super professional! The place is beautiful. Went for a wedding from out of state. My wife was in the wedding party. Very organized and punctual. The place is updated with nice lighting. Staff is very professional. Highly recommend.
We recently held a party for our 35th Wedding Anniversary at the Chateau. Everything was wonderful! Mandie & Kevin were great to work with and the food was delicious! All of our guests had a very enjoyable evening.
My large family group celebrated Thanksgiving here one year, and it was top-notch in every way.
Everything was smooth from start to finish. Any accidents were quickly handled by staff without embarrassing anyone. Delicious food and a lot of different options. Every appetizer and every dish had the same great attention to detail.
I am so excited to my daughters upcoming wedding is taking place at The Chateau! I cant say enough of what a wonderful experience it has been working with Bobby, Mary, George, Kevin, and Mandi. I know the day will be wonderful because of them, since they genuinely care and want to make every detail perfect. Cheers!
Meal was fantastic, first of all. Service was lacking. We attended the Easter buffet as a party of twelve. Almost right away drinks were spilled on me, two for our table. it didnt bother me much, the drinks were comped, but neither of them were for me so that kind of sucked. It took quite some time to get our bill, and although we had previously requested a separate bar tab, it all came as one bill. it took twenty minutes for the waitress to return to collect the bill only for us to tell her we needed the bar tab separate, then another twenty minutes for her to return with the corrected bill. Then another fifteen for her to return for the two credit cards, and even longer for her to return only to not give one of the credit cards a slip to sign. So of course it took another ten minutes for her to return with a signing slip.
As the bride, I can truly tell you all that this is by far the best place to get married at and the best people to work with. They honestly make you feel like royalty, they go above and beyond your wildest expectations. You and your husband to be are the most important people in the world at this venue. When I was two weeks away from getting married, the head chef and the event planner parted ways, I cant begin to tell you how lost and hopeless I felt. However, Josephine and Bobby soothed every worry or doubt that I had and they made sure that I had the wedding of my dreams. .. and then some. I dont think that I couldve picked a better place or had better people to help me create the most perfect and magical wedding that I, my whole family, my husband and his family could ever expect. They go out of their way to ensure that you never have to worry about anything. Every detail, service and food wise was spectacular. I am still completely blown away by the entire event. From start to finish- I never worried, doubted or even thought of caring about anything, they had it all under complete control. I have never been more at ease letting someone else take total control over everything and being so unbelievably wowed by the outcome, it/they made me feel speechless and like I was living the dream I had my whole life. I felt like a princess, and I will never forget that. Coming from a family that expects the best, I am still getting calls from my relatives saying that it was by far the best wedding /event that they have ever been to. ... and I know that says a lot! I dont think that I could have had a better wedding anywhere else and I know that I am so right about that. I cannot thank Bobby, Josephine and the entire crew at The Chateau enough. You made all of our dreams come true and more! ♡
The space is nice enough. Went to a Mothers day lunch here today, and everything was terrible. It was a buffet lunch, with reservations - didnt get seated on time. Once seated, waitstaff took a while for the drink order - but they were busy, so thats understandable. When we went to get food, most everything was empty and totally picked over.Tried waiting a few minutes to go back again and get more than the overcooked chicken we got the first round, and there were no plates, no fruit, no soups, only crumbs of cheese, etc. There were more items missing than were present.They took reservations for this, and they were seating in half-hour increments. They should have been able to plan properly if they had half a clue.It really was disappointing - especially since this is an event space - it let me know that even with easy buffet style serving and proper head counts they cant get it right, so it wont be a space we use for any events.
Awesome experience at the Chateau for our daughters Quincenera. The event manager, Kevin was helpful through the entire process and the party was incredible. Highly recommend the venue.
BEST. NIGHT. OF. OUR. LIVES. -- our wedding was at chateau this past weekend and they hit it out of the park. Extremely helpful, accommodating, knowledgable, professional, the list goes on. Nicole is an absolute GEM and was genuinely committed to making our night perfect, as if she was part of our family. We cant say enough about how happy we were with how everything turned out. The renovations the past few yearshave been amazing. The staff is a tentative and courteous. Overall, this is an excellent venue for events or weddings.

Not a great parking area. Also the staff is very young and inexperienced. I was in mid bite and my plate was taken away by our young waitress. Food is mediocre. Beautiful banquet rooms

2021-10-03Beautiful wedding venue! Our cocktail hour and reception food was amazing, many of our guests ordered the fillet which arrived to their seat at their requested temperature (how often does that happen at a wedding?!) The venue is clean and equipped with professional and friendly staff. Kevin, the Maitre d, was helpful throughout the entire planning process.

2021-11-02I was there for a retirement banquet and the facilities were clean, and decorated beautifully. The Happy hour was just that happy. Plenty of food, from shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped scallops, cheeses, fruit, sliders, pigs in a blanket on and more. The bar had a great selection and staff was quick refilling drinks. The dinners offered where filet mignon, chicken cordon Bleu, salmon, and a vegetarian dish which looked like eggplant and whole lot of other vegetables. Coffee and peanut butter, chocolate mousse followed. The staff here serving did a exceptional job. Great food and service all around.

2021-09-07I had my wedding at The Chateau on Sunday September 5th and just wow!! Hands down the BEST day ever! All of the workers including Kevin and Erika were very kind, compassionate and made sure my husband and I were always taken care of. I cannot say enough kind words about my experience and 10/10 will recommend The Chateau to anyone! Thank you all so much for everything!!

2020-09-16My husband and I had a exceptional experience with The Chateau from the first day we toured the venue to the day after our big day. Wedding planning alone is stressful and even more so during a pandemic, but Kevin was so helpful and kind with any questions, thoughts, or concerns we had leading up to the wedding day. The service and food was great, and they saw my vision of my day and set it up just the way I had hoped. It was so nice seeing it all come together. We would love to book another event at the chateau in the future.

2020-10-12Got married October 10th 2020 and it was amazing. We loved the venue from the start. It was the first and only venue we looked at. My husband fell in love with it. I loved it as well. The colored lights they were able to add was such a cool touch and we had an amazing ice sculpture everyone loved. The food was amazing. I had the salmon and it was perfect. I am a super picky eater. The staff was very kind. Kevin was amazing from the start of our wedding planning. I would recommend this venue to friends who might be getting married. Love the outside ceremony space. Beautiful beautiful venue. I cant say enough good things. Our ceremony was a little late getting started but that was because we were waiting for family from new jersey to arrive. My wedding was beyond perfect. Especially during covid. Loved it. Thanks so much!!! Cant thank you guys enough.

2019-05-21Went here for the Easter brunch, I was really impressed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a problem with our reservation, they took care of it and seated us immediately. I was impressed with the quality of food. Really made the price worth while. One of the nicest places to dine in Kingston.

2017-10-29Where do I begin? From start to finish - flawless! I cant say enough about the service and food. Bobby and Mary took care of every detail and were very confident in this being a wedding our friends and family would be talking about for a very long time. And they were right! The food was exquisite and plentiful. One word describes Kevin, perfection. Kevin took care of making sure every detail that I described was beyond my expectation. He set the room, the centerpieces, the cocktail hour, the entryway to, well, beyond perfect. I cant thank you all at The Chateau enough. I will forever be thankful. You made my daughter and son in-laws wedding day a fairytale!

2016-06-05Went to a reception here tonight. Not only is the place gorgeous, the food was fantastic and the staff was amazing. Plates were cleared during the cocktail hour and reception as soon as they were empty, staff was always asking how everything was and were very friendly. I cant say enough about the food....it was plentiful and absolutely delicious. My favorite, besides the steak, was the crab macaroni salad....YUM!! Great great job and I will highly recommend this place to others!!

2018-03-12Excellent venue. The food was remarkable, especially the hors doeuvres. I attended for a large group event and we were well taken care of there. There is a dance floor area and two separate bars, one in the dining hall and another in the greeting area where appetizer plates were set out.
