The Cheesecake Factory in other cities:
Usually a great experience, but tonight was off. We were seated quickly, however waited 20 minutes for a server to visit our table, and one of our party was not served until 10 minutes after the rest of our party. The food was great as always, but the service tonight was just sub-par. A 2-and-hour experience because the service was just so poor. Also, the nachos were a bit over cooked, as shown below.UPDATE: Please see the response below; apparently Cheesecake Factory believes it is ok to offer deplorable service and overcooked food. Shameful.
Lots of Wows at The Cheesecake Factory! Love the atmosphere! Food is Absolutely Delicious. Shout out to Anthony, who took very good care of our table.I recommend ordering your drinks as soon as the waiter arrives, order the second round when youre about half way through with your drink! Made everything worth the wait.Thank you to The Cheesecake Factory! Had a very good time!
We went this afternoon for late lunch /early dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress, Ashlee was great! Attentive and quick with drink refills without our asking. All the food we got was very good, and there are tons of delicious items on the menu! The restaurant was also very clean. Recommended!!
Went to the cheesecake factory for brunch and was able to be seated quickly. You will definitely want to make a reservation. I tried an espresso chocolate martini by the suggestion of the waiter, it was good. I tried the eggs Benedict with chicken and waffles, it come with a side of home fries. The eggs benedict were ok, one egg was cooked fully and the other had a runny yoke (I enjoy eggs over easy). The home fries were a little too salty for my liking but the half waffle was perfect not too much or too little. I didnt leave feeling overly stuffed, which is a feeling I like to avoid. The chicken was decent. I would have to say, today was one of my better experiences at the Cheesecake Factory.
I have been going to this location for over 10 years and it is one of my favorite restaurants around. I’ve been to a lot of places and this cheesecake is consistently good. There have been only a few times where I have been dissatisfied and that was with take out and that is a risk we all take when ordering that way.Aside from that the pricing isn’t terrible but on the higher end, not fine dining by any means but a step up from Olive Garden and Red Lobster for sure.I hope this helps! :-)
After waiting for over an hour to get a table, our server went on break and was replaced by another server. He took our order and gave us our drinks. He never came back to check in on us or see if we needed anything. After nearly an hour, our actual server came to us and told us she was checking in on us to see if we needed anything. We didnt have any refills, or top ups on bread. When we asked where our food was, she checked on it and brought out 3 very cold plates of food that had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. We asked for a manager. His solution was to put our food in the microwave for a few minutes and bring it back to us. Our meal cost us 37 Dollars, and the rice was undercooked and the sauce for the bang bang scrimp and chicken was overpowering. We will never eat there. My family was very excited to try this place. We ended up throwing all the food away. We chose this place instead of our favorite place to eat. We will never eat here again. We were very miserable the whole time. Would definitely not recommend. 1 out 10.
Wish I had seen Joe Guice’s review before ordering from here yesterday, which was a Sunday. My daughter wanted to order food for us for my birthday. I got the turkey club with sweet potato fries. The bread was stale and the fries were burned. Very disappointing! Two thumbs down!Update: After writing this review I was contacted and asked to submit additional information about my experience. Today, I received a $20 gift card to compensate for the poor quality food. It is honorable that this company stepped up to practice good customer service, especially in light of the hardships faced by the restaurant industry due to the pandemic. Kudos to them for that!
The food was great but the service was subpar. Was told 30min wait, we waited 50min for a table for two. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. Other servers were very attentive to the tables around us so it was very easy to measure how absent she was. We were here for 3 hours. Much longer than we had expected when we only wanted apps and cheesecake.
Waited over an hour for a table. After we ordered drinks we were informed that the items that we wanted were not available. The very condensed manager said that he made the decision due to three line cooks just walked out. Never apologized or offer to pay for our drinks.Other visits were great.
MEAl was $125 TOTAl= Sick !! So sick. No question it was bad food.Restaurant decline!Very sick after a $100 meal!!!! It was an awful night. Mediera chicken with steak, another order was so buttery it was gross. Fettcini yuk! Child threw it out. Stuffed mushrooms were not typical and the soft mushrooms were coated with fine crunchy bread crumbs which made it so nasty. It was like eating slimy squid in sand.Banana cheesecake tasted different than normal. The whipped cream had an off taste.but the bananas in the cream were OLD!!! Literally BROWN and overly soft like you would use for banana bread.I am afraid to eat today as it could start another hideous Round of sickness. When I spoke to the manager, he basically said it was …. Not the banana cream cheesecake. Admitted to preparing some to go orders ahead of time. But he said they never pre package banana!!! HMMM I told him I believe it was the cheesecake that madeMe sick and how sick I was all night and most of the next day and now I am out of bed. But, it is ongoing. His comment was glad you are feeling better and see ya next time you come in. Well … It will be very difficult for me to want to feed my family or myself food vfrom Colonie Center Cheesecake Factory.
Service was excellent. Even when they were at full capacity, the waitress still noticed my friends drink was empty and had taken care of every table in her section with no issues. The food was perfect; I had a bbq bacon cheeseburger and a lemon raspberry cheesecake all perfect.
Did a takeout order over the phone..... Ordered a chicken ranch barbecue salad with balsamic dressing on the side and extra balsamic... What I received was a chicken ranch salad no barbecue and no extra dressing and they gave me the original dressing that came with a salad that I asked not to have... Usually they are pretty good here.. Tonight must have been an off night.. just make sure you check your order after they give you the bag..
Delicious food, great service and a nice atmosphere. I ordered the Chicken Picatta my friend ordered the beef shepards pie. The food was wonderful. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. We were experiencing them for the first time. Again delicious! They serve two types of bread with entrees. Really great dining experience.
Ok, this place is pretty good when ordering in on doordash, which is why I bumped it up from one stars to two. When I went in person, I had to wait about 45 minutes just for my server to arrive at the table and take our order. Then they didnt have some of the ingredients so I had to order a different dish which is fine, no problem. Waited another hour because the waitress never came over, and asked her if the food was going to be ready soon. She left for about 30 minutes and brought our food, but it was ice cold, like it had been out. Then I had to wait another 30-45 minutes and ask her for the check. After we asked she said she would get it ready. So I waited for another 20 minutes for her to bring the check. Turns out she left before giving us the check. So I had to call over another person to have them help us in getting a check. Yeah not fun.
Understaffed due to Covid shortages on a very busy weekend. It took more than 90 minutes to get our dinner. Our waitress disappeared when we needed more drinks more then once. The kitchen lost our order or sent it to someone else. Managers ended up comping us both of our dinners, which was cool. The whole reason I took my friend out to dinner was to have an easy going night away from the stress of her husbands health issues. It ended up being just as stressful as if she had stayed home.
Absolutely terrible! We used to go to cheesecake factory relatively frequently before covid and always enjoyed it. This was a different story, my burger is beyond burnt and because of this my burger was super bitter and unedible. My fries were old and rubbery. Also my wifes tomato basil pasta came with just enough noodles to cover the bottom of the small to go container. Not acceptable for a dish that cost 17+ dollars. Really disappointed. We will never go back.
By far the worst experience I have had at Cheesecake Factory!!!First, service was very slow, not just for me, but people around me as well. Our food took 45 minutes to come and to top it off, it was cold!!!The table next to us was seated and it took 20 minutes for someone to come over and acknowledge them. Then you come to the take out containers, they are new since last time I was here, but they are so hard to get on they should come with instructionsMarch 5 2022 seated at 7:25pm
Despite the chain claiming to be kid friendly this location is not. You can not bring your stroller any where near your table and are required to leave it at the door. The first time it happened I thought it was just a one off but its not. It is apparently a fire hazard despite the fact that there very open areas that could seat parents with strollers. Very disappointing.
It was very busy and crowded, and our 5:30pm reservations were about 5 minutes late, but as busy as it was, that was kind of expected. It was first time at any Cheesecake Factory, and overall, the food tasted great... But there were a lot of issues with our orders (party of five/daughters 17th birthday dinner). The waiter brought everyones drinks except mine, and after about 10 minutes my girlfriend reminded him. Then they brought out everyones meals but my sons, and then when they brought his meal, it wasnt anything close to what he ordered. So they went and remade his meal, only to bring the same exact plate back out to him. They forgot my girlfriends fries for her burger, and when she cut her well-done burger in half, it was medium rare, so they had to remake her entree.I ordered crunchy pineapple chicken and shrimp but with no snow peas... Got snow peas in it. Didnt send it back, just picked them outBut the worst part was the fact that we mainly went there so the birthday girl could get the crab artichoke dip; she ordered it and the waiter came back about 10 minutes later and said Im sorry, but we dont have the crab and artichoke dip. Weve been out of crab for about 2 months. IF YOU KNEW THAT YOU WERE OUT OF CRAB, WHY DID YOU LET HER ORDER IT AND GET HER HOPES UP?Everyone else was great. Very friendly, and they corrected all of the original waiters mistakes. Nice large portions. Kinda pricey, but I know that going in. If Im in that area, I would definitely stop in again.
Two times here in the past week! Ordered the same dish twice. Both times have been disappointing with the taste of the food. No flavor. It was addressed the first time with management and came back a second time to give them a chance to do better, but sadly they didn’t Should have asked for a manager but didn’t. Oh well. Won’t be coming back.
First and last time I will dine in this establishment! Manger Joe should be ashamed of himself taking a tip that wasn’t authorized by the person handing him 100 dollar bill! I was satisfied with my experience and intended on giving my waitress the money she deserved for my experience. Yet I watched Joe instruct manger Amanda to give my check back to him so he could take the tip they suggested(12.38) from my bill instead of returning my exact change back to me and allowing me to leave my tip which she would of got more then that but thanks Joe! Then when he was confronted about it he walked away like a punk instead of owning what I just watched him do! Will never give them another dime due to poor management skills
My boyfriend and I frequent this Cheesecake Factory. I do suggest making a reservation. We have to wait maybe 5 minutes longer than our scheduled time to be seated which is completely fine. We generally speaking order the same entrees from the skinnylicious menu specifically the grilled steak medallions. We get an appetizer as well as cheesecake. We had the spinach dip this time which was delicious as well as the caramelicious cheesecake. I was a little disappointed by the lack of caramel in the cheesecake but overall we had a great time!
The Cheesecake Factory at the Colonie mall, on Wolf Road, has excellent service and accomodating staff. The waitresses/waiters are knowledgeable of their menu and able to answer any questions. We went on Valentines Day when it was quite busy and the staff did not miss a step at all. It was wonderful to see such well-working restaurant amidst the Hallmark holiday chaos. AND DONT FORGET TO HAVE SOME CHEESECAKE!
Unbelievably amazing. Im a very picky person and this place was amazing. The only thing is good luck eating it all portions are huge and my family mentioned to eat because its my birthday and the waiter Johnathan brought over my dessert with happy birthday written on it on his own and they sung happy birthday. One of the best places I have eaten. I have eaten at 5 star restaurants that was not a more pleasant place to eat. Words can not describe the quality and taste a must try.
Just horrible. We came here for my moms birthday and they were out of 2main dishes we ordered (2 out of 4 dishes not available). The best part ... they were out of dessert we wanted too. Guys !!! The waiting time for the food to be on your table is 1hr + Ughhh.Bad management. Thanks chesscake factory to ruin my moms birthday. Never again.
We had a terrible waitress. She was more interested in talking to the male employees and texting. The husband finished his soda before his meal arrived. He was almost done with his meal when he got another. This time he got a double jack & coke. The jack tasted funny. His fries were cold and according to him gross. His burger was good as well as my pepperoni flat bread pizza. We got cheesecake to go. Well eat that tomorrow.
Very friendly staff. The food was terrible as usual but this time it was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered the shrimp platter thinking, how could it be bad? The shrimp was so over cooked that I tapped it on the edge of my plate and it sounded like a fork or knife tapping and the so called coleslaw was shredded cabbage and that was it, no dressing just dry cabbage and the undercooked French fries, oh never mind.I will never again even attempt this.
Good food. Fancy restaurant actually. The name gave me dîner vibes and a low key atmosphere, but thats not what it actually is. Its a fancy place with prices in the 15-30$ range for main courses. The decor is ancient Egyptian with high ceilings.I took away a star because there was some behind the scenes drama with the waiters and we got stuck in the middle, so service was not too great.
Always a great experience at Cheesecake Factory.Although I feel the 2 people booths are really a tight fit. Next time I’ll have to ask for the table for some breathing and leg room.Waiter was a rock star. Always kept an eye on our drinks and ensured the next one was on the way. Had great drink recommendations as well. Food was flavorful and service on point. Why not 5 star? The edamame was really small and it felt like you were getting more skin than beans. While this is something so small to complain about, the Cheesecake Factory is an experience so it should be a great experience and not a mediocre one. Also on my main plate the little mountain of rice was stale in taste and hard on the exterior. My thoughts are they kept the plate a tad bit too long under the induction oven. I’m always amazed how the simplest things like rice and edamame are not as great as they should be.Overall a great experience. I would definitely visit again.
1st of all, I am a huge fan of cheesecake. And at The Cheesecake Factory there are plenty to choose from. It was my 1st of many times eating here. And honestly I waited to long ;). The menu has a taste for everyone... Italian, homestyle, vegan, healthy choice items, seafood, breakfast and of course their always delicious cheesecakes. For the quality of food the prices were very reasonable. They have a bar if youre just in for a drink and a quick bite or take a seat and enjoy the warm atmosphere. I took a shot at a steak diane and mediera chicken combo with a spot on bloody mary to drink. Nothing but yummy!Next time you see a The Cheesecake Factory sign stop on in, your tastebuds will thank you!
Good food and extensive menu. Wait times tend to be long especially on weekends. Usually the wait staff is attentive. Moderately priced entrees. Incredible assortment of cheesecakes. Lindas chocolate fudge cake is incredible. Biggest issue is that they have very limited seats for waiting and most of the tables are on top of one another.
Management at this location is terrible. I asked to be seated outside and was told I couldn’t by the manager. I explained that I checked the weather and it didn’t look like it was going to rain until 6pm. It was around 230pm. He said “Well, I checked the weather too.” Then, he told me I could eat at the P.F Chang’s next door. Sat down to eat anyways, before we left I saw newer people being sat down to eat outside.Food is good.Waiter and bartender were really nice. But management stinks.
Went to pickup my curbside food and when i called i was on hold for 10min so i decided to go inside and this is what i got. I used to order these chicken sandwiches as a appetizer for years. Forst time they came out this small. French fries were cold and soggy. Hard to swallow. If they keep this up they will be just like Sears. Go somewhere else with your money
Food was very good, pricey. All employees were very nice and friendly. One of the things I didn’t like was you had to scan the QR code to get the menu. The code was only available at the hostess station, not at the tables. If you go online to look at the menu from their website, their were no prices. If you’re going to have no menus, have the code available in more than one place. Somewhat shocked when I received the bill. All in all, my fiancé and I had a very good time.
With 9 people, we were seated right away. The mini crab cakes were awesome with a garden salad on the side! Our granddaughters had the most scrumptious Oreo milkshakes! Our waiter, Ryan, was friendly and efficient! Our oldest granddaughter celebrated her 10th birthday with a huge piece of cheesecake! All in all, we had a wonderful time!
Went to the cheese cake factory in Albany for the first time tonight and I highly recommend it. Its a little pricey yes but I dont mind paying a price for good food. The cheese cake pretty much speaks for itself. They do comply with social distancing. When going in you have to wear your mask until your seated and anytime you leave your table you have to wear your mask. The place is clean and disinfected from the tables when people leave all the way down to the menus. The training provided to their employees for in sync consistancy is stellar!! Every employee does the same procedure keeping themselves safe as well as their customers. Great job cheesecake factory!! Bob was our waiter and he was awesome, kind, and knows the products. Kudos to you Bob giving me my first cheesecake factory experience well worth going back for.
This should be everyone’s Go To spot ,From appetizers to entree to desert everything is delicious and fresh . Portions are huge and staff are amazing , great service and great prices .Highly recommend this place , if you still live under a rocker somewhere and have not tried it yet :)
Had lunch here and it was an excellent experience. There was a good crowd for lunch , but we were seated immediately, and the server was very helpful. They have a large and varied menu, but our server made excellent suggestions. The food (orange chicken for me and chicken piccatta for the wife) arrived promptly and was very tasty. The portions for the lunch special were very generous. All in all am excellent experience.
Great place for a large menu that has been cut down too short because of Covid. There tends to always be at least a 15 minute wait for dinner time so plan ahead. I had the truffle honey chicken with mashed potatoes and substituted the asparagus for mac and cheese (only $1 more). My wife had the gumbo, but it didnt have much flavor and has a little heat. I recommend to order simple dishes that arent too complex. Also a bit of nitpicking but they dont pack your leftovers which I think is strange of a fancier restaurant.
Fantastic!! Heard only great things about this place so thought I would give it a go. First time and what a fantastic experience, our server (Denis from Albany, NY) went above and beyond, from suggesting some delicious entrees (he knew a ton about each dish), to personalizing our dishes (swapping chicken for mushrooms & broccoli & suggesting the homemade mashed potatoes with the salmon dish instead of rice), then to top it all off by going above and beyond he put a candle in each dish for my wifes 40th birthday. Food and drinks (ultimate margaritas & TCFCabSav) were top notch!!! Definitely recommend, enjoy!! #thecheesecakefactory
Experience was kind of meh. I’ve worked as a server for a number of years and have dined at CF numerous times, so I try to be very patient and understanding when things take longer than expected. My girlfriend and I dined in on a Saturday night and were seated right away without a reservation. Sweet right?! … Wrong. We ordered 2 appetizers (that took multiple tries because so much was sold out), a side of broccoli, and a piece of cheesecake to arrive at the same time. We placed our order and after 45 minutes of waiting, the appetizers arrived without the broccoli or cheesecake. No big deal. 10 minutes later the broccoli arrives and it’s hard, essentially raw yet warm, and was mostly stem. My girlfriend had to cut the two trees off of it to eat them. I also ask about the missing cheesecake and am told “sure, I’ll get it.” 20 minutes later and it still hasn’t arrived. I understand things are hectic and due to Covid the restaurant industry is short staffed, but I just can’t make any sense of it. I certainly won’t be back to this location. Our dirty plates sat there for 30 minutes as we waited for the cheesecake. When our server brought the cheesecake she did not apologize for it taking long. Nothing was comped on our bill, despite our wait and raw broccoli (the broccoli cost $5.95 and was a total raw, stem-filled rip off). And our server was upset when we asked for the check and a box. But spending 90 minutes on 2 appetizers, broccoli, and a slice of cheesecake just missed the mark. I hope this location is able to streamline its guest experience in the coming months.
This place is crazy busy on Saturday but they keep a very high standard for cooking their dishes so its worth the wait. Had honey sauce chicken which was crispy and not overcooked. Had the pineapple upside down cheesecake. Meant to get a picture of it, but we sort of inhaled it before I thought about it. Mad good. Great Cheesecake Factory location overall.
I wish I could give them less than one star for this experience. What I wanted to be a great night out with my girlfriend turned into me having to send our food back. I ordered the chicken Marsala…it was dry, overcooked and the pasta was undercooked. I also asked for no mushrooms ( a simple request ) and it still had mushrooms. My girlfriend ordered basic 4 cheese pasta and they still managed to screw it up. The cheese at the center was almost frozen, and her pasta was undercooked as well.If you want to feel disappointed, and angry then come here for dinner it’ll be the worst $100 you ever spend.Seriously bad! Go next door and have PF Chang’s instead. If anyone from cheesecake is reading this please check who your chef is on Sunday nights thanks for nothing. 1/2/2022
Great service!Best dining experience this year. Welcoming and professional staff. Our waiter, I presumed to also be the manager was energetic, pleasant, respectful, and with great attention to detail. I ordered a sandwich with avocado and asked that they please hold the mayonnaise and inquired if there were any cheese in the sandwich, he promptly asked if I was allergic and said that he would ensure that personnel change their gloves to avoid cross contamination💕. Food was delicious and I had no adverse reactions. It’s 2:30 AM, got up to use the restroom and remembered that I had to write this review. Many thanks to all the staff members 💕💕🔥
Staff was great, waitress was great. Very friendly place. However, My friends Butger was really undercooked. Asked for Well Done came over rare. I mean, real rare. Not the end of the world. A little on the pricey side for my taste. It was very nice food, but we did pay for it too.Id recommend it but be cautious it can get pricey
Very professional very clean restaurant. Loved that I could reserve ahead of time. Did not have to wait long for the food n by the way food was great and cheese cake was delicious. Definitely recommend for a date night or even a ladies or gentlemen night out. Prices were reasonable
My debit card was used to purchase items online while I waited for my server to bring my card/bill back to the table. I talked to two different managers and left messages requesting call back from the general manager, no return call. The first manager didn’t even ask for any details. I called the corporate office who said they would follow up with me, no call back. Colonie Police not following up because the amount stolen from me wasn’t enough. I am never eating here again. Use cash if you choose to.
My children and I had a great late lunch. Robert A was our server and he was unbelievably amazing firing off dad jokes with my son. The meal was out of this world. We ordered kids chicken & fries, miso salmon and shrimp & chicken gumbo. We brought our cheesecake home but nobody was disappointed. Overall, a great meal with awesome service!
We were seated by the wait staff station. The busboy numerously slammed flat ware into the trays and slammed drawers and doors. He made the visit unenjoyable. I had the chicken salad sandwich with green salad. It was fine..not great. Our waitress, Kim, was excellent!
Food was great. This location has HUGE portions as well. The cheeseburger egg rolls were awesome. Then the chicken 3 cheese Alfredo was killer as well as the other pasta we ordered. Of course get the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and a slice of carrot cake to go.
This place gets worse as time goes on. Manager is absolutely useless. I ordered a Turkey Club with extra tomatoes and french fries and the girlfriend ordered a salad with dressing on the side.It took over 20 minutes to be served at 11:40 am and the place was not even half full.Once served, my club had almost NO bacon on it and DID NOT have any tomatoes. Her salad came with no dressing on the side as requested. We sat at the bar and the girl bartenders were to busy gossiping and cursing that they ignored us for about 4 to 5 minutes until the finally asked how is everything when my plate was pushed to the edge of the bar (as if I was finished with it) for that whole time.No apologies, just two immature girls behind the bar whispering.
Me and my husband went here at night, and the lighting was really dim. The food was alright, but it wasnt something that would make us return right away. The blood orange martini (I think thats the name), was the bomb.Cheesecake has a hefty serving. Me and my husband split it. You can buy a whole cheesecake for around $47-$59, pre-tax. Single cheesecake slices start from approx. $15.
We had a 10 pm reservation when they close at 11 and showed up late. They seated us right away, our waitress was AMAZING and the food was perfect. We were there till almost midnight as well as a few other parties and everyone was so kind, we were never rushed or anything. Highly recommend
Something to enjoy always. Me my husband took our 4 months old son to the place. Our favorite is Bistro Shrimp pasta. They have good food, nice interior. Wish the booths would be a little bit wider to fit the carseat in them easily. But food wise they are one of the bests. We found them crowded most of the time (like 15-20 minutes waiting time). Better to go off hours.
Prompt service by our waitress. Food was excellent. I had cream of broccoli soup along with a salad and a chicken salad sandwich(Renees special). My husband had the flat bread pizza and our son had french dipped burger. All ingredients were fresh and portions were good size. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert!😊
As pricey as this place is, it was well worth it. A friend and I recently had a girls day here and I had a mixed drink that was perfect. We shared two appetizers between us, one being the chicken tequilas with avocado sauce on top. They were delicious and very fresh. We also had another avocado appetizer I cant remember the name of but it was also very good. I ordered a turkey and avocado club without the bacon and received bacon anyways. Minor annoyance but not a big deal. The wait time for our actual meals was 45 minutes or so and people that came in after us got their food first but I chock it up to them being busy and other tables not getting apps. The food we got was fresh and hot which made the wait worth it. The wait staff was on point with waters, letting us know they were checking where our orders were and the check. Id also like to mention we got a mix of desserts to go home with. I got the tirimisu, this is the only tirimisu I have gotten in a long time that tastes legit. So other then long wait times and a small mix up with my food, I would totally recommend this restaurant.
Cheesecake Factory is one reason I stay in NY and endure our winter weather! They are the best restaurant! Although a chain, I can ask for gluten free food and they are happy to do it—- they will even adapt a recipe so it is gluten free. Their recipes are super imaginative and delicious. Any of the Factory’s cheesecakes are delicious, but do try my favorite: a hot fudge sundae. Yum! They know how to make eating fun and delicious. Ice cream, with a metal pitcher of hot fudge—- pourable and super warm. Big size too. I love it. Five stars all the way!
Was pretty much uncomfortable the seating was horrible it’s to much going on. R server tone of voice was rude it was like he was upset or something😤the chicken Alfredo was🤮 The only thing I really enjoyed was there drink which were amazing!!! I’d come for those again😊Over all 5/10
1st time ever walked into one of these places for the last.Walked in waited nearly 90sec. Getting looked at like Im lost and do not belong.7 Meatheads stood at the host booth, looked DIRECTLY at me with NO contact. 2 Fools Walked DIRECTLY past me. I even moved about 10 feet to the right to get a response. NOTHING!!!! Very Rude, Discourteous & Unprofessional. Forget this Place. And ALL cheeselesscake factory.
20 minute wait for drink order ,Fruitfly everywhere , appetizer never arrived ,, waitress had dinner during our dinner so she excused herself , double charged for one meal and my wifes steak was well done +++ should have been med- rare. The only good thing besides dining with my family was watching this young man bus tables . I havent ever seen any young person work as hard , move as fast , concentrate and think as hard about what he was doing . He was on fire 🔥. He gets 5 stars for his commitment to his job !!! Give the boy a raise . This was the Colonie center Cheesecake factory on Wolf road .
Went last night 7/14/2021 to the Cheesecake Factory around 430pm. Happy hour is 4-6pm. I told the hostess I wanted to sit in the bar area. No problem. I ask the waitress its happy hour for the drinks - she said yes (Morgan). At the end of the meal my two drinks (Raspberry Lemon Drop) were $28.50. I said to the waitress that is not the happy hour price- she went and checked with the Manager. She came back and said she made a mistake but the manager took off the dessert (7.00). Needless to say - I paid the bill but was very upset. The manager should off taken off the whole drink. That is not how you do business. Everything else was really good - we used to go there a lot before COVID- but I will not return there.
This place the perfect example of a restaurant that spreads itself too thin. Their menu is ridiculously long and everything on it is mediocre. I think if they narrowed it down and had a coherent theme to it other than food to order before you buy cheesecake it would be way better. Regarding the cheesecake itself, its not bad but Ive definitely had better.
My family and I used to love coming here when I was a kid so today my mother and I came after having a day down there and it just wasn’t the same. The service was ok but the girl at the front who asked us how many were in our party was rude and dismissive and we just didn’t feel like we were acknowledged when we got there. The server we had was good shortly after we were seated we were greeted and placed drink orders and such. The food wasn’t that great to be quite honest. The cheesecake was the best part. It’s sad to see such an amazing place lose its fire. We will most likely not be back.
It said to arrive at 5pm. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was the best.(friendly). The chicken was also the best. Classic trio, the aAfrado was good. Change the name NOT so good Cheesecake Factory. The crust was bitter. the cake not sweet too much sour cream, the Best Strawberries.
Hour wait turned in to 2 hour wait. Took a long time to order, drinks were watered down A LOT, food took forever then came all messed up, ordered the Shrimp Scampi and it was thickly battered and burned and had no taste. Waitress agreed it looked too black. 3 out of 3 adults had horrible food, 2 sent them back. Gave a 1 star because the kids ate their food. Service terrible, food even worse $170 only to leave hungry. Disappointed and will never step foot in there again. Dont waste your money or time
The food tasted great while we were there. Thought our server wasn’t too bad either, but I was wrong - impressions are deceiving.. The lighting was awful, had to use my phone light to see the menu. The noise is overly triggering. It was also very gross having my son throw up the whole ride home because his gluten free order was not gluten free. Worst place ever and definitely NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY! Server did not ensure dietary needs were observed by kitchen. Never again, worst place ever.
So it start out great seated within 15 minutes. From there it went to hell. Sat down for 40 minutes before getting our food. We seen a pair of old friends after we had ordered. They came in was seated and received there food and left before we got our food. Then the food was the about as good as an omlete MRE. The waitress we had to track her down for straws and napkins and even a 20 minute wait to pay my bill, the thought that the cheesecake would save the night instead the size of the cheesecake was the slice of cake you would give a toddler. It was a very bad experience.
The waiter had his mask under his nose which is pointless. They didnt clear the bread and appetizer plates before jamming the oversized dinner plates onto the tiny table so we had to make a leaning tower. The food was mediocre at best. My rice was crunchy- either still raw or overcooked and dried out I couldnt tell. The fish tacos had no flavor. My friends carbonara was watery and not creamy by any means. We both went to culinary school and may have higher standards for food, but for the prices, this was not acceptable.
A hour and 10 minutes for a burger. Ordered no guacamole or sour cream still came with it.. ordered brown rice with the orange chicken came with white… first and LAST experience here. Horrible service. I honestly think she forgot we were her table. EDITING BC NOT EVEN 10 minutes leaving throwing up!!!!
The food really tastes like its freshly made and authentic. Never had a bad meal or experience here. The cheesecake, its namesake, Id say needs some improvement. The cheesecake while good does not hit the mark with tasting like homemade authentic. Its very sweet and depending on which one you choose the consistency can be compared to jello. Overall a great place to eat with great service.

2022-02-20Great restaurant. Great ambience and great service. They have two menus, one is the regular menu and the other is called skinnylicious for low calorie food. I got the spicy tacos which was amazing with a side of veggies. We also got chicken piccata which was also good. I really like their complimentary chocolate bread with warm butter. Perfect place for a date if you dont mind the crowd. We have to wait an hour to get a table. Highly recommend the spicy tacos.

2022-06-28Ordered medium well burger but it was very well done. The bun and 3 slices bacon were excellent. Online states 2 cheeses but check out my picture it seems like there is not much cheese on my burger . Burger itself did not encompass the size of the bun felt like I was eating a lot of bread. They did follow my online instructions to omit the secret sauce and side mayo. The fries were not warm piping hot and crispy. Curbside pickup fries were soggy. Should have gone to Wendys where piping hot fresh fries guaranteed! For $16+ for bacon bacon cheeseburger and fries, I dont think it was worth. Shouldve had a pleasant experience at 5 guys next door. Funny when I eat inside Cheesecake, their bacon bacon cheeseburgs and fries are served like its worth the $16. But for the recent take out/curbside. , I have not been impressed.

2022-05-13Are you ready for the 411? Here we go…went to Albany to move my daughter out of her dorm and to head back home the next day. After working up an appetite ended up at Cheesecake Cake Factory. Always loving customer service, our server, Tori, was a pleasure. She was attentive and made sure to give we were comfortable in the outdoor seating area. The appetizers were filling especially the Mac and Cheese balls. For the food, we had the Chicken Potstickers, Chicken and Hibachi Steak and Pasta Carbonara (my favorite dish). While it did take awhile for the food to be brought out, Tori made sure to update us on the status. When the food finally came our everything was prepared well and tasted delicious. It was quite a big serving that we did not end up eating everything and packed it up for later. For a chain restaurant, it was one of the better ones I have visited which was probably due to the time of day as it was not very crowded. If you are ever in the UAlbany area, visit this spot…your college student will definitely appreciate.

2022-04-19We went for my childs birthday dinner. We told the lady at the front that it was her birthday, and our server confirmed it. We ordered dinner...which was meh...ok, then our server asked if we wanted dessert (to stay or to go) and that was it! No one sang to her or anything! Super disappointed. The food was edible - over priced. The cheesecake was good. We took home. But honestly, I thought it was so mean they didnt sing happy birthday. We werent expecting a freebie- we bought the cake but they could have sang to her. It will be a very long time before we go back there, if we ever do.

2022-06-28Came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. I was glad that we had a reservation because it was packed. My husband got a steak and i got the fish tacos. They were AMAZING and the portions were fair. His steak was cooked as exactly as he ordered it. I was very disappointed by the beer selection. I could find more variety at an airport, and probably for about the same price. The cheesecake was also awesome, but at the end of the day it was more expensive per person than my favorite fine dining restaurant but with none of the leftovers. So while I certainly recommend this place for the food and the service I just didnt feel the overall experience or value met my expectations for wow factor.

2022-07-08I have not been to one in years and my friend has never been to one, and since it wasnt far from our hotel we went for dinner. He was in AWE of the place itself and the food. I too felt the food was amazing. Staff was friendly and their customer service was spot on.

2022-03-20I Was Expecting Someone to Point to a Camera and Tell Me This Was A JokeI went out for dinner for my moms birthday, they told me it was an hour and a half wait and they were out of a few things. Its her favorite restaurant so we shopped around and waited for almost two hours...We were seated at the table, the waitstaff was friendly but provided me with a cvs receipt sized list of things they were out of. About 10 or 11 things I wanted for dinner were not available and they were not willing to make accommodations by serving off hours meals, which quite simply lazy .The waitress had to go on break and someone from behind the house was hastily taking orders and dropping food off. It was apparent he didnt want to be there and wanted to just get it over with or he was overworked; unfortunately, I cant read minds. The food was so-so, but my hunger at that point was at a maximum after waiting 2 hours past when I expected to eat. The chicken was likely frozen and then dipped in oil, not fresh and the black pepper shrimp was lackluster and could be purchased at another restaurant for a fraction of the cost of cheesecake factory. The cheesecake was good though, I suppose thats a benefit of having standardized production.Overall 1 out of 5 stars, they cant manage to maintain their supply of produce, cannot communicate the issue leading to asymmetrical expectations and cannot provide sufficient value to customers.Recommendation to management: get your stuff together. Your poor ability to adapt to the needs of customers or maintain and establish a reliable supply chain will cost you employees and customers.
