My father is having a wonderful experience living at The Club. Aside from being new, beautiful, incredible river views, and having great food - the people that work there are unusually kind and generous with their time and attention. I am comparing my dads experience here to several awful years at Atria in Ossining which mixed all residents together - no matter how ill. That place was super expensive and just not very good. The Club is not only reasonably priced, but you can put your mind at ease because Sara Humphrey and her staff are remarkably attentive and service oriented. Sara recently helped my family by convincing my dad to go to the hospital - he was being stubborn , and it turned out that he had pneumonia. He quickly recovered and is doing great - she made sure that he received 3 meals per day to His room, and that he was getting better. I live in Irvington, and though only 20 minutes away - I feel certain that my dad has an incredibly beautiful and warm home at The Club.
My mother has been at The Club at Briarcliff Manor since November 2019 and we have been very happy with the care and support of the staff, particularly under very difficult circumstances. I can rest easier knowing that my mother is in a caring community with good friends and thoughtful support.
Have worked at The Club at Briarcliff Manor since before the actual building opened. We are a community of healthy and happy residents and staff team members Excited to share positive resident feedback, their familys positive feedback and positive employee feedback too.
This place is an absolute horror show beginning with leadership. It just so happens; the one’s responsible for ruining the culture; are the ones leaving 5 star reviews. Absolutely pathetic and shameful. Work place morale is dreadful and ultra micromanagement is everyday life here at The Club. This is a real honest review as oppose to the other spineless “job security” reviews.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!In January I came for an interview to work for this company, Samantha Valesquez (HR) said that one of the steps to get the job was to do a physical exam saying that If the Bill come to my mail to give to them because THEY WOULD PAY for it. So ok I did. I completed all the steps and she sent an email saying that I didn’t do it by the deadline. So I took an screenshot of everything (proving) and send it to her. She never answered me back since then! I tried to communicate with her and others and never got helped. After 1 month the labor bill came to mail, I spoke to Jim Cirillo that said to give the bill so they (business department) can pay, I went there and gave to them. After 2 and 3 months the same thing, the same bill! After a lot of calls not returned I had to go there and speak with Shelly Morris personally to explain that my bill was not being payed! She couldn’t help me with that saying they have a lot of bills to pay And I’m not the only one (that’s not my problem once they said they would pay for it) so I needed to go to court because I received A FINAL NOTICE from the laboratory. Very sad that place put their employees in trouble. What a shame!

2022-06-28We helped my father move into The Club at the height of COVID. The staff worked with us to make the move quick and efficient, and most importantly safe. COVID made for tough times for everyone as businesses closed and people stayed home, but the team at The Club were always interacting with dad by stopping by his apartment, his table at the restaurant, or when they met in the hallway to say hello, or ask how everything was. While my father spoke highly of the entire team at The Club, he would also mention those he felt went above and beyond expectations. Just to name a few: Jackie always treated him with great care and respect. He appreciated her caring nature and willingness to help. Rich was also always very kind and patient and made sure that my dad reached his appointments on time and without incident. One of the “go-to” offices my father said he could always rely on was the Concierge’s / front desk team; and last but certainly not least, was the Executive Director, Sara Humphreys. Our father and the whole family appreciated her “hands-on” style. We always knew that if there were any issues or questions we could reach out to Ms. Humphreys who would be quick to respond or help. I will certainly be recommending The Club to family and friends and will be sharing the stories of my father’s positive experiences.

2021-07-24My wife and I recently helped my in-laws move into the Club. We have been very pleased with so many things about the Club. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful and professional. The setting is beautiful, both inside and out, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The strong sense of warm community has been an unanticipated blessing. I can’t imagine a better situation for older relatives who are no longer able to live on their own.

2022-06-24Honestly this place is an absolute nightmare! They work you to your last breath and there is never any appreciation! The management is horrible, you are always micromanaged! Literally had panic attacks almost everyday working here! The only thing that kept me there while I was there was my co:workers. Avoid this job at all costs!

2021-04-15My mother moved in last July and was living in an independent facility which was wonderful. Unfortunately the isolation from Covid did a number on her brain. By the time we moved her in she went to assistant living and other medical issues happened which made us move her to Memory Care. I have had only wonderful experiences @ the Club. The Staff starting at the front desk to all the help in MC care are all so caring, friendly and professional. Sara, William, Cheryl & Jenna could not be more helpful. The Nurses and aids are unbelievable and care for my mom like it was there own mom. They also care about the families.I recommend the Club to anyone who is considering making this their home.

2021-04-09As the child of the first resident to move in, I commend The Club for managing to keep our parents safe during the past year. During the past few months the population has grown tremedously and the staff has somehow managed despite the horrible external circumstances. As The Club has been able to reopen, I commend them for arranging so many activities to get our parents out and begin socializing again .I have had contact with so many staff and all have bent over backwards to assist- even the kitchenThe food is less than stellar but given the last year and keeping everyone safe and attended to without families allow entrance , I am confident this will improve

2021-10-05Recently, my wife and I visited one of our dearest friends at The Club at Briarcliff Manor, which is an outstanding home for seniors in a glorious setting. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The common rooms and apartments are beautifully appointed and in pristine condition. There is a wonderful feeling of warmth and care throughout the entire community.

2020-09-20My mom moved into The Club last November and she (we) have been very happy with our experience from the get-go. The facilities are brand-spanking new and are beautiful with views of the Hudson River all the way down to NYC. The staff has been friendly and helpful and mom has made some great friends. We lived in Westchester for many years and it has been fun for mom to get reacquainted with others from our home town. My wife and I even ran into some of our HS classmates who also have parents there. Covid has been a major concern for older folks and The Club’s staff has risen to the challenge putting the health and safety of their residents first. I certainly recommend The Club to anyone looking for a safe, friendly and inviting environment to enjoy their golden years!

2020-09-07My overall experience has been very pleasant here at The Club.Current leadership has been a great addition and change for the better. The atmosphere in general has taken a noticeable shift I would say in a more positive direction especially for the staff. Any and every work place is and will not be perfect but it takes very special leaders and people in general who WANT to take into consideration what you have to say as a staff member and work very hard daily to make the work environment one that is worth getting up for everyday.... I would say The Club has that kind of leadership team and continues to make sure our community remains this way so that we can provide the best service towards our residents.... which is what its really all about !! :)

2020-10-10Unbelievable move in experience!! I moved my mom in yesterday and it couldn’t have been an easier transition or a more warm welcome for my mom. The Club literally rolled out the red carpet for her! It will be a wonderful memory for both of us! Also, Iveliz helped us from day one - she is a fantastic part of the sales and marketing team. She is a true asset to The Club and just wanted everyone to know that her professionalism helped make this a very easy decision and process. Thanks again to the whole team at The Club!
