The Coffee Connection in other cities:
Unexpectedly came across The Coffee Connection during a quick trip to Oswego—I’m glad we found it! The shop has such a cool interior with exposed brick and stone, but was also welcoming and cozy with the lighting and music. The owner Tara was wonderful, asking me questions to make sure she made my coffee just the way I liked it. Very unique latte choices! I’ll have to come back and try some more. What I got was delicious!
What a wonderful place for coffee & pastries! Ive been going to the Coffee Connection since it was originally on Water Street and this latest incarnation brings quality products, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff into one unique place. Congrats to the new owners and keep that coffee strong!
I was in Oswego for work, I needed to drop off the company van to get its oil changed. Looking around for local coffee shops in the area, I came across the coffee connection. The atmosphere was clean and festive, with a gentleman playing guitar in one area of the shop, and singing Christmas carols. The menu was extensive, and beautiful. The staff was not only extremely friendly, but also helpful in choosing a nice warm beverage for a cold walk around town. The barista suggested a latte they called Candy Cane Lane, which is very delicious. I only usually write reviews on places that really catch my attention, and this is one of them. I will definitely have to return for more.
I just recently moved here from Washington State where there is a coffee shop or espresso stands on every corner. All Fulton has to offer is 3 Dunkin Donuts. Tried it, not very good in my opinion , and waiting forever for our order. Googled and I found Coffee Connection. Great coffee, nice atmosphere, a variety of coffee to purchase and the owner was very pleasant. Ill drive from Fulton to Oswego any day for her coffee.
Im not a coffee drinker, but I was brought in by people I knew who were. Despite that I found reasonable priced goods that are coffee and not coffee related. Theres plenty to choose from, great atmosphere and its a great out-of-the-way place to step out of it all. Its a small establishment so dont expect theres room for much loitering. Simply take a brief time away with a special drink. Also theres organic and soy options available, parking lot right across from the store plus a close view of the canal.
Excellent local coffee shop! With 2 floors, tables, couches, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is a perfect place to do home work, read a book, or reconnect with friends! The coffee is excellent and has amazing flavors, and the owners are very nice. Prices are decent, considering the small town setting, the free wifi, and the local economy. The deserts are pretty good as well!
Great place to come to! Local coffee shop that not only offers a really original atmosphere but a great selection of coffee and treats. Also has a wide variety of different teas, smoothies and other drinks too. Features an upstairs seating area thatd perfect to sit back and relax, play board games or to read and relax while you enjoy your coffee! Great location with a beautiful view! Would highly recommend checking it out, if you havent already!
Coffee Connection has the best quality coffee in Oswego. Sweet treats and Biscotti to go with an extensive menu of hot and iced coffee wonder-ment. I havent found a hot coffee I didnt like (not really an iced coffe guy). Outdoor seating when the weather is nice, indoors is always being redecorated.Trying to write this makes me wanna go get some right now!
Easily my favorite coffee place in the Oswego area. It has a welcoming atmosphere filled with art, not to mention a great selection of delicious drinks to fulfill my caffeine need. Ill buy some pieces from local artists that are available there. Or sometimes Ill just go upstairs where its super comfortable to relax, catch up with a friend, play some board games, or just watch the river. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
The new location at 22 W Mohawk St #1, Oswego, NY 13126 is a cozy little nook of coffee and tea happiness. They have a mind whirling assortment of flavors and types which means theres always something new to try. They also have almond milk options for those who are dairy free. Dont forget to check out the treats they have on any given day.
Stopped by on 4/5/19 and there’s a sign posted on the door labeling the building unsafe. Seems this gem of a coffee house is closed for the foreseeable future. I’ve only been here a couple of times but really looked forward to visiting this coffee shop on my trips to Oswego. I hope they can get the issues with the building straightened out.
New location, same great coffee!--Unlike any other coffee shop in the world in that your iced coffee drink never gets watered down! You get coffee cubes to keep it delicious! Cozy shop, terrific coffee, amazing variety of flavors for your caffeine needs. Tasty treats and locally sourced goods. Best coffee shop around.

2021-07-16It was so nice to see a favorite spot living on, even if it was in a different location. Now with even more whimsy, we had a lovely little adventure with some blueberry iced coffee, some delicious muffins, and a not pictured refreshing lemonade. Oh, and the greeter should definitely get a raise. 14/10, we will definitely be back again!

2022-02-01The environment is great and the products are good (for the most part). Ive noticed the past few times when Ive gone here that the coffee has been weak, even if I was ordering a dark roast variety. I always just order a plain cup of coffee whenever I go. To relate to this, within the past month or so, I noticed on the social media account for this place that whoever is running it made a joke about not remembering how much coffee they were putting in the coffee pot when brewing coffee. So, if they can make jokes about not using the right measurements of coffee when brewing the batches for the shop, I can see why my coffee might turn out weak.

2019-07-08This is an excellent local coffee shop. It has been a staple of Oswego for over 20 years. A must see if youre in the area for a visit! The new location is in the lower level of an old church. Great outdoor area with seating.

2021-09-25Love this place. And its open early in the morning ! You can sit at the outside tables which is so pleasant. Inside there is a cute little dog that greets you with its toys and loves to be petted. The furniture and finished work on the tin ceiling and old stone walls is beautiful. Very well done. It has a bit of a castle like feel. Oh, and the coffee is great too.

2018-01-01Excellent place to go and do work or meet up with friends. The owner is super kind. The hours are kind of difficult sometimes and the upstairs could use more power outlets, though
