Always enjoy coming here. Elfa closet service was great. Ellen helped us design our closet and we could not have imagined a better design ourselves. This was our second Elfa closet design experience here. She gave us a couple of design options and went over the pros and cons of each. That was really helpful. Everything went really smoothly, from design to material pickup to installation.
I really like this store. Good quality products, good variety, friendly and helpful staff.
Two years ago we used container store to redo our closets. We knew nothing about doing over closets and didnt do our homework since a neighbor recommended them. They charged us just over 1k dollars. Well we have a condo in Florida and decided to do our closets over, so we went to home depot. A female employee walked us through the whole process. She cut the shelves and told us which brackets to buy. Home we went, and two hours later we had our closets complete. So easy! The price for our condo which has more closets? $279.00! With our closets from Container store, the way they configured our closets we lost space and gained empty space! The materials were identical to Home Depots. Heads up to all!
Looking for glass containers went online saw the store had what I wanted but curbside was not available for days. Went to the store didnt see what I wanted. Asked for assistance which was right there so I didnt have to hunt for someone. The associate got me what I had come in for. I was in and out in minutes.
Lots of great organizing options here for all areas of your home. Plus, a nice gift wrap section and lots of little doodads that you didnt know you needed. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good parking lot.
Always great stuff and helpful staff. One of my hats is that of a professional organizer, and I can usually find the storage items Id like for myself, or my clients. The quality of most products they carry is excellent, so they hold up over time.
One of my favorite stores of all times. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming.They’re willing to order any product that isn’t in the store. They listen to your needs and are extremely helpful. The store is always kept clean.
Loved my recent trip to the Container Store. Everyone was super helpful. The items they stock are varied and worked well for what I needed. One of the items had to be returned because the wheels literally fell off (laundry basket type thing) but they were great about it. Will definitely come back.
I loved this store. I walked up and down every aisle. Originally I just went in to get some baskets for my hand towels for the bathroom, but I ended up getting lots of gadgets and storage solutions. If youre going here, make sure you bring your money and your time, because you might get stuck inside longer than you anticipated, fascinating store.
Super handy staff. Very personable.Lots of items are low/out of stock but I suspect that is a result of people stuck at home and The Home Edit on Netflix.
Good store for your organizing needs. They have different sized bins for whatever your situation calls for. They have a large selection of garage organizing tools. Wall shelves for pictures up to heavier things like books. Very easy to navigate the store with the signage very visible. The kids section has tons of little things to make your life easier in the kitchen. Prices can be a bit high but there are lower cost items as well.
On my second trip here. I came here to pick up a six tier cabinet and a few other things. I nicely asked several guys passing by asking them for help, which they quickly denied as they were busy with other patrons. That I understood, what I didnt understand, was the long wait for anyone to help which never came. I decided to leave the place after about 40 minutes there. I will not come back. I will try the one in Yonkers and hopeful Ill get the help I need. All items there is overpriced as well.
Excellent selection but prices are high. Easy return policy. Cashier saw I was having trouble and he sent a floor person over to help.
It seems as of lately they never have inventory of anything 😩 its frustrating to shop there now for my closet needs theyre always out of things and dont know when they will get it next. This use to be my weekly Shopping hot spot
Its getting harder and harder to find what you want in this store. And if they still carry it, it is either out of stock or has to be ordered. I might as well just order it on line. And another brick and mortar store will be out of business. I used to like this store and would buy here because it was in stock and I wouldnt have to waste my time going to several stores looking for an item, even though The Container Store was more expensive. I saved the money not having to waste my time going to several other stores to find what I wanted. What a shame the managers try to cheap on things and screw it up.
Really great for what they obviously sell, containers, but they sell other stuff too, not a large selection though. Most stuff you can get somewhere else and maybe a better price. Its good if youd like to see and compare different storage solutions or see many options at once.
The slection of items is great, but the service -- especially checkout, -- was terrible, as usual. Each time I go there I try another time, but the service is consistently bad. The woman in front of me left all her items on the counter and walked out. I waited another 15 minutes and finally the cashier was finished with the person in front of me.

Great selection of organizational, storage, and household items, solving for problems I didnt even know I had (such as a tool, kale stripper. Ive cleaned my kale by hand all these years!). Left off a star for poorly stocked shelves but otherwise a huge success.
Well besides being a photographer and working at the container store part-time it has help me to get my life more organized and giving me a chance to help my customers the best way I can by getting them organized as well. I love my colleagues at The Container Store that I work with I look forward each day to see the customers and try to save the money by having them sign up for Pop are you a pop star. 1-No one answers the phone when you call.2-When you in line to pay, some cashier could see 10ppl waiting and they keep on chatting like they just dont care and we just need to wait, like we want to be there standing with strangers that we dont know if they are infected with COVID19. Conversations should be minimal specially in this time were living. Pay and get out! Dont talk about the weather or how pretty your hair.
I love, love, love everyone at this location! As an organizer, I’m at least 5 times a week. Dana, Tania, Debbie, Ward, Kevin, Rudy, John, both Ian’s, and everyone else! All amazing and they make my trips so enjoyable. Thanks guys!
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and a great product selection. Lines at the cashier section can get long at times. Free parking as well, in White Plains, what!?!? Easy on and off from I-287 and across the street from The Westchester mall.
Wide assortment of household items from trash cans drawer dividers to Christmas tree boxes and of course shelving. Helpful and knowledgeable Associates but always a wait at the register. Moderate to high pricing.
Spiffed up our pantry and fridge with some great options we bought here. Will be back soon for our laundry room and gym makeover! Great selection and very nice staff.
I havent been since the pandemic. It i sad to see so many empty shelves. The staff is great and luckily I was able to find what I was looking for.
The stuff there is certainly overpriced. The worst part is that I had to wait in line to exchange an item that’s broken when I picked up. Their line is super slow - staff needs retraining on customer service. Too bad. Container store unfortunately and certainly became online giant’s showroom.
Went to this location for an elfa closet solution. Got attitude from a gentleman before he hamded me off to someone else. She seemed helpful, worked through the design, and she gave me an envelope with the design so I could order for delivery or schedule pick up. Opened the envelope the next day amd the design she gave wasnt remotely what we had gone over. I was surprised how bad the experience was with this store was. They may be getting to the size where they cant maintain consistent quality customer service.
I have bought really wonderful cool stuff nicely priced in the past. A few months ago visited the store with a friend and was a bit disappointed with not only the quality but the prices of the goods being offered.Wondering if they changed ownership.
Store is too big for only having one person at register. Potentially understaffed at all times as I’ve never seen more then one register open in the dozen times I’ve visited. Friendly staff however.
I may have set expectations too high for the store chain. It was very disorganized for a store that specializes in organization. I sent an hour looking for 1 item abd someone to help me, when the number of customers died down. I gave up on the other things I was going to look at once I got what I needed bc I had a headache and was frustrated. My first time in a container store so cant say if out of norm chain standards.

The Container Store has just about anything and everything that you could possibly need to organize your life or package and ship it out. The staff is very friendly as well. The only downside is the prices, but skew higher than if you went down the street to another store for similar products.
Weird location and their items are way overpriced. You can go to target right down the block and get all the same things. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because their ELFA systems are phenomenal!

Its a giant toy store for adults. Walked in looking for one item walked out with a dozen different things and $ 264 lighter in the pocket. All worth it since this (2020) is the year of organization!!

If you want to organize this is the place to start for your kitchen closet bath kids room Etc. Gift packing section has very unique wrapping paper and gift bags also boxes for baking items
Good products however the store lacks basic customer service. Employees are in groups chatting away ignoring customers as they walk around clearly looking interested into buying a product.

Its a very organized and clean store. The attendant was very helpful. However, they have few option of moving supplies and boxes.
If you cant find something to put (whatever in ) here - they dont make one.. because this store carries everything. Even things you didnt know you needed( lol). I just wish they sold the clothes shoes and handbags they use in the closet display!

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I called the store to ask about a product. I spoke with manager Rudy who not only barely answered my questions but was very disrespectful. As a manager he should serve as an example for his employees. Very disappointed and will no longer be shopping from there.

Free parking in front of store (a rare near downtown White Plains). Lots of storage products and ideas to shop. I was like a little kid in a candy store. So much fun.
I was trying to find a storage box of a particular size. Seemed like in every aisle I looked, there was an associate who looked at me and then ignored me. Well, whatever, I eventually found something on my own.
I can usually find all of the organizational items I need for my projects. Some products are pricey but they have many options.

Found great sales on some clearance shelving. The employees where helpful finding some additional shelvesthat where in the stock room.
Bring your checkbook or credit card. Great selection. Be prepared prior to shopping, as there are so many choices to choose from.

2020-11-29Overall, the shopping experience is what can be expected from The Container Store. Bathroom urinal was moldy and disgusting; left much to be desired. However, Denise at front counter was beyond kind, enthusiastic, helpful and professional— completely nullified the bathroom experience- making this a true 5 star shopping experience. Would come back again, but try to avoid bathroom

2022-02-27If you need something held, be it by hanger, hook, or on a self, in a box; made of wood, plastic or anything else the Container Store is the place to go. It can be expensive, very expensive if you get carried away. It can all be virtually drafted, so you can watch your budget. Unless you have money to fill the boxes and shelves and then it wont make a difference.

2021-08-26The prices are about 100% higher than youll find items for elsewhere, but its really nice being able to see a product and decide if itll work. That said, Im tired of buying storage items and then coming back to get more and finding that they dont carry those anymore and that the new version doesnt interlock with the old one, isnt the same size, or doesnt come in similar colors. Add in that youre paying an arm and a leg for things and it goes from a must to a bust.

2020-10-10Great store if you’re looking to organize...just about any indoor/outdoor space. The staff was very helpful, the store was clean and enforced social distancing which was nice to see.However I was pretty shocked to learn they don’t sell plain old cardboard moving/packing boxes. They sell containers of every other type and material, but no cardboard boxes.(Home Depot is the spot for those!)

2020-10-16This store is amazing. They always seem to have something to help provide storage for every tight space. Best is the 6 rolly clear plastic containers that roll under the bed. Closet systems, gadgets fur kitchen & bath, soft good, and cleaners, glassware and if cosirs containers for almost every space. Prices reasonable and they run sales. Staff helpful. Checkout quick. Parking lot exclusively for the Container Store. Check it out, lots of fun.

2020-09-02Truly a kid in a candy store experience. My partner and I recently moved and we found almost everything we needed to fill our room. They were out of stock on quite a few things but their online store had a lot of stuff available. The cashier that rang us out was super nice.

2019-03-21The best Organizer Store that has everything you need and items that you never knew existed! Super clean and open so that you can easily find your items. The salespeople are helpful and become a POP shopper to get an automatic discount at the cashier. Love theireasy to order if the store is out of what you want. Always leave happy knowing less mess when I get home!
