Went here for a date night and it was awesome! The drinks and food were fantastic. Im from Maryland and was suspicious of this bar on a quiet street in SI but it exceeded expectations. Next time Im here Ill be sure to come back. Cheers!
Great speakeasy. Elegant and awesome vintage cocktails. Very reliable: open everyday until 4am. I highly recommend this place. And to top it off, the owner is a great guy who takes great pride in his business!
This is a great place when you want to have a nice night out, without all the crowding and chaos that you usually find in a traditional bar. Which is why this is not a bar, its a cocktail lounge. Some of the best mixed drinks Ive ever had, and awesome food options! Helpful staff, great low light atmosphere, comfortable couch seating, this place is awesome!
I don’t write reviews often but this place deserves one. This is without a doubt the best late night drink spot in Staten Island and one of the best in the entire city in terms of the quality of the drink preparation. The bartenders take their craft seriously and the hidden gem is the food is great. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone I meet. Please support this establishment any chance you get.
This is Staten Islands best kept secret! Hidden in the shadows, from outside you have no idea what youre walking into.... Beautiful atmosphere, bar /lounge. Bartenders are friendly and funny, owner is there to greet you. Music plays in the background, an amazing choice of bourbons and whiskeys. A place you go to meet great people, have a drink and enjoy life
The ambience of this cocktail lounge really induces a relaxed vibe. But what I love about this place (besides everything), is that if you dont want whats on the cocktail menu, one of the skilled mixologists will create one to your desire. If youre in the area, definitely stop in!
Excellent bartenders, great drinks, relaxed and romantic ambience all make this place outstanding. The drink menu is extensive and the drinks themselves are delicious. The bartenders were knowledgable and friendly, making a show of mixing the drinks. Only drawbacks were it was very noisy and the two bartenders were a bit slow to respond.
Stumbled in upon arriving in Staten Island for a bachelor party. Needed a bite to eat, and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. The Mojito I ordered was top notch, and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable. Nice setting dark and quiet.
Great atmosphere, classy vibe. This place has character, they know what theyre doing. From outside you cant see in, I wasnt even sure there was something there let alone whether it was open or not. When we got in, the feel was a tad exclusive, but comfortable. I had an absinthe. They pour it right with the ice fountain and all. Will return.

Genuinely my favorite bar on the island and like fighting for my favorite in the city. Beautiful aesthetic and wonderful staff. Also the drinks hit you in the chest in the best possible way. Highly recommended
If youre into a genuine bar/speak easy type atmosphere this is the place for you. The drinks are well constructed with quality ingredients. You wont see any children here, djs spinning and sports on tv. It is a great place to grab craft cocktails and meet somebody new. The owners & entire staff are friendly. From the artist Rocco cutting the ice, the mixologists Edward & Sam slinging drinks like the Penicillin or Roy, one of the owners educating you on the alcohol theyre serving. They all care about what they do, theyre all passionate about what they do. Theyre open until 4 am all day everyday. The windows & door way are blacked out to give you the feel and privacy of a speakeasy. 2 thumbs up & 5 starts from this guy!

Speakeasy vibe with smooth Jazz playing throughout the bar lounge to put you right at ease! Great for a date or just to relax after a long day! The staff is the friendliest and most knowledgeable on drinks Ive met in Staten Island by far! Jimmy, the mixologist, knows his craft...delicious drinks! Meat and cheese platter is a must.....so is the Coupe!
Wow, just wow. Sit at the bar and you can see how much detail the bartender pays attention to. I felt like I was on the food network. Bartenders are extremely insightful. Dont come here if you want some bottom self liquor splashed with some chaser. Come here for the experience of a real drink made before your eyes.

The staff at The Coupe is amazingly knowledgable and accommodating, from the owner to manager to the wait staff. The cremont cheese platter is one of the best things ive had on the island and if they are out, its because i ordered them all, but any of their platters or appetizers are equal replacements. 5 Stars every time.
Coupe was great, it should just have its own entity with specialty cocktails and more light in the place and maybe something to keep guests there longer. Still a solid spot and very good bartenders!

2021-10-07We discovered this quaint, cool cocktail bar near the house. The Coupe has Great bartenders. The kind of place where you can ask them to make you an interesting drink. Tony, we like tequila. Make hers sweet and mine not sweet. 😅 Dont ask me what we had, but each one was delicious! 🍸🥃The cheese platter was excellent!#datenight #thecoupe #tequila

2021-05-02If you love a good cocktail and a chill vibe this is the place. You can tell them the type of liquor of choice and if you like earthy, sweet or sour. I had 3 cognac cocktails and the bartender Meghan was great. She knew her craft and she does it well.

2019-01-03The drinks were great! Asked for the Bartender’s Choice which basically involves them making you a custom cocktail based on your preferences. The bartenders are so pleasant and clearly passionate about their work. Great prices for the quality, and the chocolate truffles are to die for! Its a bit dark inside, but after a few visits the atmosphere has grown on me :)

2021-11-27This cocktail bar needs a 12/12 if possible. The cocktails were amazing. It’s super great for a date night or even a self love date if your down for one. I got the Mortadella and it was amazing. The cocktail was out of the world. I would definitely recommend. Joel and Megan treated me so well and the vibe was immaculate.

2019-08-01The best hidden cocktail bar on SI. Edward was our bartender and made the Bartenders Choice cocktails for us. He asked our spirit and flavor preferences and made these amazing cocktails. One spicey made with mezcal and tequila with honey, bitters and a cheese stuffed pepper as garnish..and the other with tequila, carrot juice, lime, other flavors garnished with basil, flowers and some nutmeg. There is a small food menu with cheeses, meats and sides.
