Dr.Fernandez was very through with my treatment plan and the process and suggestions that will help me get better, she worked with me and answered my concerns and made me feel heard, she actually took the time to EXPLAIN why my acne is not getting better and the mistakes I do in my daily skin routine. Highly recommend going to her!! This was only my first visit and I feel relieved for making the switch with her!
Had a great visit with the PA, however I was extremely disappointed with the process of changing my pharmacy. I had called twice and each time- they had told me they would send the prescriptions to the pharmacy and give me a call back when that happened. I never received a call back both times, and now I will have to call for the third time to ask them to resend one of the prescriptions. It seems like they’re disorganized and do not care after your visit.
Came here for my stubborn acne and post inflammatory marks. Dr. Fernandez was very nice. She explained to me the best treatment for my condition as well as other options that I can undergo in the future to further help my skin. Very happy with the consult/treatment I got!
By far one of the best dermatologist encounters i have ever had. dr. fernandez truly exhibits caring behavior, explains medical details in an easy to comprehend manner samd jargon, and does a complete and thorough, trustworthy examination. (was for skin cancer check). already recommending to friends and family. thank you! the office is run seamlessly as well. excellent experience all around. thank you!
I came in for a piercing bump that I had on my nose for some advice from a dermatologist on the best approach to handling it. The dermatologist immediately diagnosed the issue as a keloid rather than a piercing bump and said that they should perform a surgical procedure to remove the bump. The doctor pressured and tried to scare me into paying for this surgical procedure. However, I decided to keep my wits about me and consult another party. I spoke with another private dermatologist as well as a few piercers and they all said that the Dermatology Specialists in Kips Bay gave me false advice and they were happy for me that I didn’t take their advice. They said that it was a piercing bump that could be easily taken care of by removing my piercing.I simply ended up removing my piercing which led to the piercing bump going away (NOT KELOID). So glad that I didn’t listen to this practice that was trying to make a mountain of a molehill and trying to make me pay stupid amounts of money for a completely unnecessary and potentially harmful/scarring procedure. I do NOT recommend visiting or coming to the Dermatology Specialists, especially in Kips Bay. A lot of the reviews are written because the practice offers free skin care products for a good review too, so keep that in mind.
2nd annual visit done here. Everyone was really friendly and nice. Doctor Hernandez was thorough and explained everything when she was doing the skin cancer screening in very understandable ways. She noticed some things that other doctors haven’t pointed out before. I felt very comfortable with her.
Organized, friendly, clean, and helpful. I hadn’t been to a dermatologist in years, but I needed to have a mark looked at. The doctor took a little bit to biopsy, answered all my questions, and made it a fast and relatively painless experience. One important note though: not all locations take the same insurance, so call the main number when scheduling an appointment. The woman who helped me clarified which locations definitely took my insurance, and was able to make me an appointment for less than 24 hours after I called. So glad I called to double check!
I’m hope my review helps you😇 whoever is that needs to read my experience at this amazing place called …Kips Bay The Dermatologist Specialist!!! I started to develop a genetic skin condition about six years ago… since then I have visited a numerous dermatologist clinics … living only the results that I have to learn how to live with my condition… Doctor 👩⚕️ Dorothy L Fernandez … was so knowledgeable about my condition… she listened to how this condition was affecting me personally… thank you for kindness, thank you for compassionate understanding… thank you, Jessica my Doctor Assistant for your gentle and warm spirit… thank you! front desk staff all friendly and welcoming🤗
I’ve been coming to this office for the past half year, and each time has been a positive experience. All the staff, especially Dr. Fernandez, is great! Very knowledgeable and patient in explaining things. I also really appreciate the minimal wait times here- scheduled appointments are timely and efficient. 👍
The staff and management are utmost unprofessional. I went in for a treatment and was told that the initial consultation fee will be applied as credit to the cost of the procedure. However, I later received a bill stating I had a balance due! When I asked the office manager about it, she had to contact the billing department. It was then that she learned that the procedure has to be done within 30 days of the consultation in order for the credit to be applied. Since she had no prior knowledge of this policy, I was never informed at the time of my procedure. Now I am stuck with a bill when it wasn’t my mistake. They don’t take responsibility for their faults and expect clients to pay the bill regardless. It has been months and the issue is still not rectified.
I have been coming to this location for the past two years. The professionalism, cleanliness displayed makes me feel so comfortable.Dr. Dorothy Fernandez is GREAT, she really takes good care of her clients. She has ability to make you feel so comfortable while giving the best treatment. Thanks to her, I am so much better!! Thank you Kips Bay!Thank you, Dr Fernandez! I would highly recommend to everyone.
When I first walked into Kips Bay Dermatology specialist, the staff was so welcoming and pleasant. Everything is so cleaned, and well taken care of. The wait time wasn’t that long and right away spoke to Dr. Fernandez was very sweet, and very welcoming. She was very pleasant and explained everything in detail to me about my situation. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for amazing dermatologist in the city. And, the location is very easy to find.
Ive been a patient with Dorothy Fernández and all I can say is I appreciate her professionalism, how comfortable she makes me feel and is easy to talk to about my skin condition and the different types of options I have to treat it. The girls in the front desk are also great and work with you. I highly recommend going here if your in need of anything skin related. They really do make you feel welcome.
Happy with my experience here. I was able to schedule an appt online to be seen within a couple days. Office staff was courteous and friendly and wait time was less than 10 min. The MA and Dr. Fernandez both spent time listening to my concerns and then discussing treatment options. Dr. Fernandez was very helpful and attentive. Happy to continue my dermatologic care here
Polite and efficient staff. I walked into the office just to get a business card, thinking I only had about 35 minutes of free parking left before I might get a ticket. The person at the front desk was able to arrange for me to be seen immediately. The doctor answered all my questions and took care of my most pressing issues so I can be done in a timely fashion. I was very grateful for the way they ran their operation and I will be going back for my follow up appointment in a few weeks. It was exactly the type of interaction I would want when seeing a dermatologist.
I’ve been coming to the dermatology specialists for years and the care is absolutely amazing every time. Dr. Fernandez is highly knowledgeable, confident in her work, and has great bed side manner. She understands every concern, no matter how small, and truly tries to help you. Highly recommend; I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I have never been treated so dismissively by a medical practice as I was by the Dermatology Specialists. I made an appointment to discuss several skin issues I was having ... all of which were clearly disclosed at the time I made the appointment. However, because they had over booked patients, the doctor told me to schedule a second appointment at a later date to finish. Really??? At one point, she even told me to “focus” as if I was bringing up random issues she didn’t have time to address. Again, they were all clearly disclosed at the time I made the appointment. Needless to say, I wont be going back. The only reason I even gave them 2 stars (it should be 0) was because the nurse was very kind and professional.
Was able to get a same day appointment for my daughter and I with Dr. Fernandez. This was aFollow up and it’s a great relief to find a competent Dr. with excellent bed side manners. Everything went smoothly until 10 minutes after we left the receptionist called my daughters phone and asked her to leave a review and she would offer her a soap as aFree gift at next visit. Since we were still in the area we asked if we could return do reviews and get the free gift. When we arrived there seemed to be some confusion at the request and the other receptionist said she could only offer 1 gift which seemed unfair. Also the receptionist that called was very nice and apologetic while the other one had a very flippant attitude and shrugged her shoulders as if she really didn’t care about our inconvenience at turning back. “Don’t offer if you can’t deliver” Luckily Dr. Fernandez is a great Dr. -
It started bad. Initially I was double booked, but told I would have enough time with her if I kept my appointment when they called me back to confirm they had double booked. The day of the appointment I had approximately 12 minutes with this doctor. She told me I couldn’t ask her any further questions snd would need to book her again for a follow-up if I had further questions (again at 12 minutes). I politely said that was disappointing and mentioned I had more questions to ask her (basic derm health questions) and she said she had run out of time for me. Again at 12 minutes. I told her I would wait if shed like to see her other AM appointment and she said she couldn’t assist me any longer. I asked one more time kindly if I could wait as I made time in my busy work schedule to meet with her and was already upset about being double booked. She accommodated me for 10 more min after her other client. I still felt very rushed and did not experience the care I was hoping for as someone who was genuinely concerned for her health. I really hope this won’t be your experience either, but I would not recommend! There is another experience below similar to mine who voted two stars. I feel similarly... but the whole experience really ruined my morning.
The staff were very nice, waiting time was short and pleasant. The office suppled water and other quenching supplies . doctor was very informativeand polite . quantitative of pharmaceutical drug and pricing, which I fond refreshing . I will continue to use their se4vices in the future.Joe
I had a wonderful experience seeing Dr. Dorothy Fernandez and her assistant Rebecca. They helped me walk through how to treat my eczema and went out of their way to ensure I get all of the necessary medications to help. I will definitely be coming back here and I would really recommend this place for anyone battling with severe skin problems and who want to seek guidance and treatment.
This is a medical spa as opposed to a traditional medical practice. I booked with one of their doctors because she takes my insurance and had an open appointment. The doctor was a real dermatologist but she didn’t really want to treat a patient with a medical condition that doesn’t require spa like treatments. I was asked to sign an arbitration agreement which waives constitutional rights as part of the patient intake which I declined. It was repeatedly mentioned during my two visits by staff and the doctor that I had not agreed to waive my rights. It’s hard to develop a doctor patient relationship with someone who asks you to sign away constitutional rights before you get to speak with them. I view this as a red flag. When I tried to discuss my medical history she said I was waisting her time. So I would say look at what services they do want to provide before booking an appointment and don’t bother if you prefer not to waive your 7th Amendment rights. I have decided to try to find a dermatologist who has a traditional practice.
Not sure what rating to give since I’ve only had really bad experiences and really good experiences here.Bad Experiences:During my first appointment, I saw Dr. Vladyslava Doktor who was unfriendly towards me. She only spent a couple minutes seeing me and dismissed my concerns. She barely looked at me before coming up with a treatment plan and abruptly leaving.I decided to try again and scheduled an appointment with Sarah Hambleton, PA (supervised under Dr. Dina Began). When I arrived on time to the office, the front desk receptionist told me the doctors left already. I did not receive any phone call, voicemail or prior notice. She rescheduled my appointment with no explanation as to why the doctor left and why I was not contacted prior to me traveling to my appointment. Very unprofessional and huge disappointment.Great Experiences:I decided to try a different doctor at this location, one last time and saw Dr. Beau DiCicco, who is now by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. Dr. DiCicco is very friendly, attentive, and thorough. He listened to all my concerns, and explained my diagnosis and treatment options thoroughly and patiently. He told me my skin will get worse before it gets better, but to not worry because it will get better soon, which I really appreciated. He has been such a big help! He’s relocating to different locations now, and I’ll be booking my future appointments with him.Lastly, the medical tech (I wish I knew her name), made my visits very comforting. She thoroughly explained my medications and how to use them, answered all of my questions (especially when Dr. Doktor didn’t) and went above and beyond to help me get a prescription to a special pharmacy that would cover it.As you can see, I have very mixed reviews about The Dermatology Specialists. All I can say is, I highly recommend you to see Dr. Beau DiCicco.
I didn’t go here BUT I made the appointment for my bf because ladies, you already know we have to do everything for these men like be their appointment-bookers/secretaries/etc. Anyway, he loved it. He said the office was clean, the staff was great, the doctor was “lovely” and he got what he wanted addressed and operated on quickly. I’m going to also make an appointment!
I walked in because I needed a yearly derm exam. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Office as modern and clean, which I love. Had my yearly derm exam and the doctor was super thorough and explained everything thoroughly. I will return back in 3 weeks to make sure the treatment prescribed worked or well try something new.So glad I walked in, no need to go to another derm again, I found my new one!
Hands down the best experience Ive had in any healthcare situation. The Kips Bay and Upper East Side location are both very clean and pretty. They have small touches that makes It feel contemporary. Both the doctors and nurses have been so nice and helpful in every aspect. I cannot thank them enough. I am very happy with my skin. Highly recommend!
I love this Dermatology practice. They have really flexible hours and I can go before going to work. I just had something remove and it was taken care smoothly. I highly recommend Doctor Dorothy Fernandez she just knows how to diagnose any of my concerns with clear solutions.
Easy to find location very clean and neat office, the staff were very professional and friendly. The nurse who triage us was very thorough and professional got all of our background medical history, answered all the questions we had about the facility. The doctor arrived very shortly after introduced himself asked us some questions about our concerns Examined the areas we were concerned about and gave us a Regimen that he discussed with us and made sure we all agreed on. Very happy with our visit.
The doctor that treated me is absolutely wonderful. However, ladies at the front desk are loud and obnoxious and appear unorganized. I called once to tell them that my pharmacy hadn’t received a prescription that was prescribed to me by them and one of the front desk lady (she has an accent, and slightly deep voice) hung up on me.
I didnt get past making an appointment. Fraudulent activity with no shame.I called to make an appointment for laser tattoo removal. They did not want to provide prices over the phone which is understandable , although most places give you a broad spectrum where you stand, I decided to proceed.I was then asked if I had insurance which I found odd but went with it. They then told me my visit would be charged to my insurance under Medical but it was towards the consultation fee.Clearly its cosmetic but they want to up charge where ever or whoever they can.I asked them if they then would put that fee towards my procedure and they then said, No.Ive never heard of a consultation fee not being put towards a procedure. They clearly want to scam your insurance and then have you pay in full after taking a consultation fee from your insurance. The receptionist was going back and forth with the provider realizing I caught on and she said ok you can pay cash its ok, lol. That really wasnt the issue at hand.So if you pay in cash it goes towards your procedure and if you charge the insurance you dont???Needless to say I didnt proceed.
Very friendly atmosphere. Staff was great and friendly. Dr. Alison Guren is amazing. She is understanding and caring. She took the time to listen to me and my concerns and actually helped me not just diagnosed me and sent me off with prescription! She is highly recommended.
Office is clean and inviting!Staff is quick and friendly - I felt very taken care of and was in and out in no time!Luke was my Doctor -He was very confident and knowledgeable, making my procedure easy and painless! It was very easy to make an appointment for my first time!
Its a first class experience with a customer obsession mindset. I have been to 3 different offices and they are so unique in design. The staff is competent and professional. I have seen 4 different Drs and tbey are so talented with personalities to match!!The practice starts with an obsession on the customer and works backwards to ensure first class results. I highly recommend the practice.
Had a skin cancer removal surgery done through their group. They wouldn’t schedule me for over 2 months after I called every week to schedule. By the time I went in for the Mohs surgery the original biopsy had completely healed. They took no pictures after the biopsy for reference and were just doing it blindly. The doctors had no idea where to cut open my forehead and were asking me where I thought the skin cancer growth was as I’m sitting in the operating chair with a mirror. They took a bigger cutout than needed because they didn’t know where to start. I guess I’ll just pray they got the right area and I’m not living with skin cancer every day.
Dorothy provided a detailed explanation that described my condition, which for the most part met my concerns for immediate attention for treatments that I have sought for a long time.03-10-2021Jessica answered many questions relevant with the treatment and what may be expected with an upcoming procedure.
They dont send the prescription to the pharmacy when they say they will. And they never answer the phone. Try for yourselves. Youll be left on hold for an hour and then they hang up. Have been calling for a week. Would not recommend coming here, plenty of other Dermatologists in NYC you can actually get in touch with.
Dr. Sphoorthi Jinna and her staff were very friendly and were able to tell me what was going on with my skin. The doctor gave me some prescriptions which have been making some progress. They are very professional and knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend this office for other people I know.
Ill admit I was happy to get a last minute appointment, but my appointment started about 45 minutes late, and the doctor looked at me for about 30 seconds before coming up with a treatment plan and leaving. I felt like I was wasting her time, instead of them wasting mine. Ill go in for my follow up appointment in a few weeks, but Ill be looking for someone new.
The staff is great, but the company has extremely deceptive billing practices. I went for an annual exam, and ended up with a bill that is twice as high because the provider provided a wart treatment without specifying that it is an extra charge.Billing department is ran by the rudest and least helpful. If you are going to this office, make sure youre ask about every little thing because they will try and upsell you.
Doctor Gruen is great, very warm and personable. But this office is terrible and inefficient - my first appointment I waited for over an hour after my appointment time and for my second appointment (which I specifically requested to see the doctor) I was told she had to go to another location and I could only see a PA. They didn’t notify me of this and the reception didn’t really seem to care. Not a great experience at all.
I visited this office after having a severe reaction to a topical cream. I was experiencing severe burning, dryness, itching, peeling. It was even unpleasant to wash my face and/or shower.I didn’t have to wait long after checking in. I saw Ashton Fuller & immediately I could sense he truly cared. He listened intently to all of my concerns and issues. He answered all of my questions and answered one’s I didn’t think to ask. After he finished typing his notes, he read them aloud, explaining he wants his patients to have a full understanding of their diagnosis and plan. I decided at that moment, that I would gladly travel from Brooklyn to the city, to see ONLY him.I appreciate Ashton and the receptionist who answered all of my questions regarding my referral and visits.I will gladly recommend this office and Ashton Fuller to anyone seeking a great dermatologist.
Everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous. They could not have been more professional and they totally put me at ease! It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for taking such good care of me!
I visited this group for the first time and thought I had a good experience (Williamsburg location), until my follow up appointment (Kipp’s Bay location). With a history of Melanoma, I came in for a mole biopsy. I made an appt with Doctor Gruen via Zocdoc, but was seen by a PA (this was not made clear). The PA was perfectly nice, but performed a large punch biopsy and did not close with stitches. The PA advised I do my follow up with a specific doctor at a different location who was also a specialist in laser treatments I had questions about. At the follow up appointment, the Dr. admitted the biopsy should have been closed with stitches to minimize scarring. She also advised me to “make sure I see a doctor every time I come in”....which was my initial expectation. She didn’t answer any questions on laser treatments (for other sun spots), as it is “too expensive” and told me to try Skinceuticals - a nonprescription skincare line.
I highly recommend Dr. Doktor for dermatological needs. She was caring and genuinely concerned about my skin breakout and spent time listening to my medical history and events leading up to my skin reaction. She is very patient and was gentle while doing a biopsy. The staff and nurse practioner are also very kind and friendly.
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place. I schedule an appt and asked for an MD, only to find out when I got there that I was seeing a PA. So I rescheduled as I was misled to begin with. I go back today to see the MD, was taken in pretty much on time, and then sat in the room for over an hour because “the dr. Was busy”. Because patients don’t have their own lives and are just expected to sit there. I’ll never get those 90 min back. They are unorganized and uncommunicative. Horrible. I would give them zero stars but you have to rate them to post this.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE with MELANIE NEVID! Ive been battling a bad nose ring scar since my teen years and been to dermatologist to surgeon to esthetician and given no real hope to heal the scar. I even went to the top scar specialist in the city and was rudely told to deal with my scar. But I didnt listen and started a strong laser treatment to my nose with another dermatologist in Queens. At my last session that doctor laser burned my nose and made it look much worse than it did before. Out of anxiety and fear I went to ZocDoc and booked a appointment with the Dermatology Specialists at Kips Bay and with luck was put with Melanie. She was so caring, didnt judge my small scar and was TRULY interested in figuring out how she could help me get back on track to getting rid of the scar. After a few months of working with Melanie, my scar has faded over 75% and Ive regained my confidence, to the point where I can comfortably not have to wear makeup all the time like before. I cannot thank her enough for helping me with this long journey and if you are looking for someone that is not going to judge you, be keen on helping you find the right treatment and hold your hand through the process she is the one to go to.
I wish there was half stars.. But my review: I didnt have a bad experience they were able to get rid of my rash. However, I dont know what is the cause of my rash even after doing a patch test. I think if they knew what caused my rash the star rating would be better.Everyone was very nice and helpful when needed I had no problem there. Scheduling was easy and I always had a good spot available for after work time. However, the constant emails to write a review is a little excessive and annoying.
Beautiful, clean and quiet office.Dr. Gruen is the best! She’s so easy going and realistic. Knowledgable, never pushy, always helpful, with a no B.S., compassionate bedside manner. I can’t recommend her enough!Bonus: They have Bob Ross on their tv screen in the waiting room, too bad it’s muted and you can’t hear his therapeutic voice.
I saw a practitioner for my daughters rash and it was diagnosed as fungal. I had to pay out of pocket for my appt because they did not take our insurance. I bought a very expensive medicine for it and it didnt get better. I followed up with a Dr and she looked at it in 1 second and said it was an eczema related rash, not fungal. I got some new meds and the rash was gone in a few days. It would saved me hundreds of dollars if it was diagnosed correctly the first time. The staff and facility is great, I would go and see the Dr I saw for the follow up again in a heartbeat.
Made an appointment with Dr, but instead was seen by an NP, I felt rushed and not properly listened to, also wasnt attentive enough to actually look closely enough at the problem but i felt like it was more of a hypothetical discussion. No samples were collected to further investigate and ensure what the diagnosis is. Prescriptions have unclear directions. Also, the staff member who was taking notes before i was seen by NP lacked bedside manners, very disengaged, documented things wrong which in turned caused miscommunication with NP.I will go back for a follow up but will request to be seen by a Dr. and other staff members.
I had a great visit with one of the PA’s at the 28th st location. She did the most thorough skin screening I’ve ever had. She also did a quick procudure with which was basically painless and helped me with a poison ivy rash. I’ll definitely be using this practice as my primary dermatologists in the future. Thanks!
Terrible. Extremely disorganized and unprofessional.First, it is impossible to reach out to the office. The office doesnt answer phone call. Their administrators were extremely unprofessional throughand didnt handle my situation in the appropriate manner after numerous times of calling and following up.This place is a huge disappointment.
0 STARS FOR DOROTHY FERNANDEZ, Ive visited this office for years but when i came the last time and seen Dorothy Fernandez Id suggest NOBODY GO TO HER SHE SHOULDNT WORK THERE AT ALL SHE HAD ME STRIP JUST TO SAY SHE WOULDNT DO NOTHING FOR ME NOR PRESCRIBE ME ANYTHING SHE EVEN CHANGED MY DIAGNOSIS THAT IVE HAD FOR YEARS I MEAN IT WAS HORRIBLE I JUST DIDNT WANT TO BE THAT PERSON IF YOU GET WHAT IM SAYING EITHER WAY DONT GO TO HER IF YOU WANT ANY OF YOUR CONDITIONS
Dont waste your time here. Medical stuff is careless and front desk cant take care of simple stuff. I came in to get a dandruff shampoo instead they tried to convince me to check my moles for cancer. The only reason they have good reviews is because a marketing company is working for them. Trust me I know that well as I am in this business myself.
I was actually doing a delivery to this location. And asked id ir were possible to see someone. And it was done immediately! The young doctor, (not..Bobby Buka) assessed me and gave me a prescription at once. I seen results in less than a week. So glad the universe pointed me in that direction.
Sadly was seen first by a physician assistant who misdiagnosed my shingles as psoriasis. Was suggested as shingles by the follow up visit when I accidentally saw a doctor because in the fog of pain during the first visit didnt catch that I was supposed to have the follow up at a different location.I see the role of PA as valuable, but there should be some physician oversight.

2022-02-14I had a great experience at this office. The waiting room is super clean and has a refrigerator with free bottles still and sparkling water. The staff members are all very friendly. I had a great experience getting a laser treatment to my face. The nurse practitioner Maria was super nice and helpful. She explained everything thoroughly and also gave me great recommendations for skin care products. I will be coming back in the future.

2022-02-23Today was my first visit, and as so many others have noted, this practice is well-organized, efficient, and offers patients a pleasant experience. Dr. Fernandez was great, and the extent of the skin check I received made me realize how much previous skin checks had left to chance. She did biopsy a small growth on my face and told me how long it might be before I have the results, stressing that I shouldnt lose any sleep over them in the meantime. So glad to have found a wonderful new dermatologist!

2022-05-27I had a great experience bringing my 6 month old boy here. They could fit me in within 2 days after I called. The doctor was attentive and nice to us. She addressed all of my concerns and gave us a bunch of samples to try. Everyone at the office was friendly and the whole experience was very smooth.

2022-05-11It was my first visit and would def recommend to others. They were patience with all my questions and answer all my concern with details. Knowing my I sensitive skin. They gave me different sample to try to see which one works best for my skin. Will be back for future visit. And def was a plus that wait time was minimum.

2022-08-07Youll probably get good enough care here. The vibe is the typical medical shebang, shepherding you into a room for 15 minutes with a physicians assistant (sometimes a doctor). The front office seems fairly curt. Theres a fair amount of provider turnover; Dorothy Fernandez isnt working here anymore. The reviews on Yelp and that its a chain dont do it any favors. Cant ask derm questions outside of an appointment or jumping through hoops.

2022-07-25I saw Maria Klimenko and she was the best dermatologist I’ve ever been to. She carefully checked all of my issues and provided helpful information regarding my medication that I wasn’t aware of. I also mentioned in passing that I had dry skin on my face which is why I use a certain face cream so she gave me a cream to try for night time free of charge. She was wonderful and I will definitely go back if I have another issue.

2022-05-06Since last year, I have been in treatment with Dr. Dorothy L Fernandez, and thanks to her suggestions, my acne is gone. I am so happy; my face looks clean and healthy. The Dr. Always listened to me and gave me the advice to take care of my face. Also, she cares when I explain my concerns and doubts. She was kind and gentle on each visit.100% RECOMMENDED.

2022-08-23I can’t decide how I feel about my experience. On the one hand, I was able to get an appointment an hour after I called. I did not have to wait in the waiting room or sit in the “patient room” at all. I was seen so quickly and everyone was very nice. On the other hand , this is my first visit to the dermatologist in over ten years and I’m very nervous about a growth I have on my leg. I’m 55 and spent my youth on the beach in the summers and I’m really concerned about cancer and needed to see a dermatologist. No one mentioned to me that I wouldn’t see a dermatologist today, (in fact, I had to ask if the person examining me was a dermatologist) even though the PA determined that 2 of my “growths” needed to be biopsied . I just think at the point were we are discussing possible cancer a dermatologist should probably enter the picture. I am going back for my follow up, but was hoping to make a connection for years to come.
