Great Hotel. Great location. Gabrielle at the front desk was so nice and she was so accommodating. Doormen were amazing. They really went above and beyond to make sure your every need was looked after. Merrick was wonderful! Rooms were excellent and clean. Turn down service was great they gave water bottles and fancy chocolates every night. Staff made you feel like you were a VIP. Highly recommend this hotel. 💕😊. Much love and gratitude the Holland family
Absolutely loved this hotel. Impeccable service, friendly staff and an unbeatable location. I was fortunate enough to be granted early check in (which i didnt even ask for) and the room was beautifully laid out with an impressive view of Manhattan (see below pic). The bathroom is also immaculate. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. I will definitely stay here again if I return to NY.
Nice hotel with great service (especially at the door). I had one minor issue with a room service call: I got a rude employee on the line who didn’t seem to want to be bothered, but thankfully a call to the front desk made up for it and I was treated with the utmost respect and importance. The location is great! Easy to get just about anywhere and just steps from the Dominique Ansel Bakery (Cronuts!!!). Room size is perfect. We got upgraded to a room double the size of the one we booked, so obviously it was even better. I would definitely stay again.
Stayed here as a guest for our proposal weekend. The staff was fantastic and went out of there way to help me plan and assist in our proposal. Things were on the pricier side here but the level of service was impeccable. The rooms could have used an update bur were otherwise very clean and the beds were comfortable for those who prefer softer plush matresses. The views were pretty good from the higher stories and the bathroom arrangement and control4 accented the room very well. Would definitely recommed this hotel to others.
Cant beat the trump soho. Always giving a very good level of services. Our room was just spectacular. The entire front desk team did great. Housekeeping does a great job each day. Their attention to detail and the courtesy of the staff was unsurpassed. Our money was really worth spent.
Good rooms, nice marble bathroom and comfortable bed. The interior looks nice, but the full size mirror is placed high on the wall, so there is no way to see your pants or shoes. The TV is placed on the side of the room, so I have to turn my head 90 degrees to watch it from bed. The cupboard in the room is nice, but a bit weird, since its so big and only contains two glasses. Theres a pretty copper sink, which is great for the nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is so-so. The bread and pastries (croissant etc.) tastes like yesterdays. Only bacon and no ham and cheese. Only scrambled eggs and no fried eggs. I would like more vegetables. The staff was very friendly and service minded.
The Dominick was great. Much nicer than when it was called the Trump. The room was large for New York, amenities were nice. Took a star off for the destination fee, which they wordsmith out of conversation. When you check in, they make a point of showing you all the complementary things youre getting for your included resort fee. (Its included, in that they charge you for it outside what youve already paid) Then when you check out, they literally tell you its just the taxes, like its the government charging us for the destination fee.If youre going to force a mandatory fee on your guests, at least be honest and straightforward about it.
Service was terrible. I was told that it was busy because it was a holiday weekend. In my opinion, that does not excuse an iron taking an hour and a half to get to your room, or breakfast taking an hour and a half. If you cant handle the volume and need to sacrifice service becuase of it, simply dont overbook what you are capable of handling. Additionally, the menu prices in the room are not the same prices that they attempt to charge you upon delivery, so beware of this deceptive practice, and always double check. Simply put - 5 star price with a 1 star rating from me. I do not mind paying for quality service - in fact, i thoroughly enjoy it. This, however, was not quality service to say the least.
Quite possibly the rudest hotel front desk staff Ive ever encountered in my life. Only after my departure did I find out that the hotel has a storied past. I would avoid this place. There was so much deferred maintenance in our room that I cant imagine how the hotel thought it acceptable.I dont want to go into details as it is still very unpleasant and gives me tremors, but suffice it to say, I dread visiting Manhattan now.We carefully chose the hotel based on the AAA Five Diamond award. We are very, very surprised by the horrifying experience. It is as if they are a completely different hotel.
I have booked this hotel for two weeks.Positives:Great location. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom was pretty big.Negatives:Front desk (reception) staff were not polite. Every time I approached them, they would not acknowledge me, being busy with their phones/computer, unless you call them out.My room was on the 11th floor, and pretty much had no view, as my window was blocked by another tall building. Although I had booked a long term stay, and I asked for my room to be changed, the front desk staff refused to do so.No shower facilities at the pool, which is pretty unhygienic.Overall, this is a good hotel, but at this price, I would take my money elsewhere.*incoming soon: a generic response from the hotel manager*
This hotel is certainly not a 5 star hotel by service and cleanliness standards. I would say it should realistically fall in the 3 star range for this location, and 2 for a less convenient location. The rooms are large enough however they STINK!!! Apparently the changed the carpet a month or so ago and now all the rooms stink and there is no resolve for this. If you have a reservation coming up I would cancel until this toxic glue smell has dissipated or they bother to do something about it. The room is very loud and you can hear the elevator going up and down and shaking the walls all night. When we asked for ear plugs they didnt have any. (Even 2 star hotels can provide this?!.) The bathrooms have black grunge all around the taps and the wall paper has stains everywhere. On top of this the staff are always grouped together and chatting while ignoring guest. Do not recommend.
My time at The Dominick was wonderful !! Everyone was extremely hospitable and polite. I was treated exceptionally my entire stay. The room had a beautiful view and the bathroom was spacious. I really enjoyed the breakfast I ordered as room service, it was delectable. I will deffinetly be going back in the future!
My husband brought me here for my birthday and we had a great stay; until we were charged valet parking for 2 days after staying one night. That’s a lot for only being 1hr past our time. We were also charged a $40 arrival fee which was never explained to us. For this reason, we likely won’t return.
Great location, clean and VERY affordable. The Inn serves an awesome continental breakfast in a beautiful room with a panoramic city view. The staff was also very kind and hospitable. I met Dennis the menace and Conor (He is the man!). They were both really wonderful. We will be back!
The front desk staff is amazing. I was able to upgrade to a Sofi Suite at a very reasonable price. The view from the 35th floor looking north and west was spectacular. I have stayed here on a number of occasions but this stay was with a special someone that I hope to be bringing back again and again. Thank you for providing a great first impression to a special girl. Why not 5 stars? Four Seasons gets 5 stars. Legit 4.5 stars for The Dominick.
Worst experience EVER. Least productive $950 spent for 2 nights. The bathtub was dirty, the skyline view meant a puny view of other buildings, we had no view whatsoever. Trust me and go to a different hotel where youll have a better hotel stay for a better price.P.s. we had to check out a night earlier due to a family emergency and they refused to give us any refund.
We stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic stay. It was truly luxury and all of the staff were fantastic and the room had a sick view.Got good prices due to its history. If youre willing to overlook the previous owner (or love the previous owner), its a great hotel. Area gets a little quiet on weekends/nights, though, but youre a quick walk to Tribeca, SoHo or the Village.
This is my fave hotel in NYC. Location is perfect, steps to Starbucks, Spring Street subway, and surrounded by all the great shops and restaurants in SoHo. Accommodations are huge by NY standards, sheets soft, robes fluffy, and floor-to-ceiling windows allow tons of natural light (very rare in NYC). Service impeccable. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Door men, bellhops and maids were all exceptionally kind and accommodating. On checkout, clerk was rude and even aggressive, weirdly, when I inquired about confusing charges on our bill. Disturbing.Restaurant was understaffed Saturday morning. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes with not even an acknowledgement. We weren’t upset, we just had to go. So we grabbed a bite around the corner and continued with our day.The first room we were given had an awful smell, AWFUL. Dusty, musty and/or smoky.Stayed here to save money. Disappointed, won’t return.
Un-empathic and poor service. Wonder how its still a 5 star hotelBooked directly through their website, paid extra , emailed to ensure corner room with view but room was not ready. We have a 9 month old and check out from Mandarian was 1:30 so asked for early check in here but instead our room was not ready till 5:20 pm and when our poor 9 month old was absolutely drained out of this wait- another front desk personnel gave us an available room. We were told to speak with manager like it will magically rectify our misery. No crib in room in spite of earlier requests. Rooms not kid friendly as power sockets on floor-uncovered. Dirty floor Carpet on arrival. We agree with previous reviewers about bedding - too soft so not for ones with back issues. We decided to spend couple of nights here for view of river and preferred it over midtown 5-stars but soon realized that we made a serious mistake. Our experience- this Dominick has lost touch and standards have dropped significantly . Not bad to book through 3rd party websites for last minute deals but definitely not a 5 star luxury anymore like plaza or MO etc. insensitivity towards customers destroy hospitality businesses and they need to realize it. I also am a member of their exec club but Of no avail. Even the room they checked us in had a pre-filled breakfast order card with someones name on it (probably prior guest). Also, placed wrong charge of a breakfast on our account which they promised to remove when I notified them. When I asked why this happened - front desk personnel Melissa said -I dont know, it happens !I dont write reviews often but this treatment prompted me to share this experience at Dominick - NYC. Happy Holidays ! BTW spoke with manager on duty Mr. Ahmed and officially complained about it. I should have checked reviews from recent stays as they all are complaining about rudeness of Dominicks staff. I concur with them. Also, its interesting that after 60% of their recent guest review they write please give us another chance instead of actually improving.PS; will update you guys further once check out about that experience. Also will update if that manager on duty will respond to us.
Last time we were here was under Trump management. It was 5 stars hands down. Now under the new Dominick name as soon as you walk in you don’t get that special feel. It’s just a normal style hotel with some nice features left behind from before the buyout. Not too happy. Staff is still nice though. Fairly clean rooms. Just no ziff to anything. Like walking into an unbranded courtyard. Not that happy. My wife is disappointed too. The level of class is down at least 30%.
Our third time at The Dominick and we really got to like the place. Amazing location and quite envious at that, for there are not that many SoHo/Tribeca/Village hotels that can boast spacious rooms and luxurious amenities.Great service, a perfect check-in experience meriting more than 5 stars. 4 quick and smooth-riding elevators, spacious fitness center with excellent views, big rooms with breathtaking views, all of the above are essential components for a good and relaxing stay. However to be fair and objective, there are several things that require improvements, and a few problems that do not befit to a hotel of that rank.1. The overall upkeep is starting to show some wear and tear, such as stained carpet or bathroom lightswitch covers that come apart falling on the floor.2. Even with our registered 4 PM check-out, the programmable room keys stopped working precisely at 12 PM, involving the inconvenience of going back to the reception and getting new keys.3. No turndown service, even though a hotel employee had stopped by our room in the evening for a complimentary fruit plate. The absence of the turndown service is a major... turndown, excuse the pun.4. No shoehorn, no clothes brush in the room, even though the said items were available during our previous stays.5. The TV streaming is only enabled for iOS/Apple devices and not for Androids, that is despite almost equal amount of Android phones vs Apple phones in the US.6. Even after 1 year, the former Spring and Varick restaurant that has been touted as a long-awaited venture of a Michelin-star chef Shaun Hergatt, still hasnt opened its doors.7. The bathroom lighting is way too low, making it virtually impossible to shave or apply makeup. To be fair, the bathroom lighting scourge is very common, even among the top luxury hotels.8. Now, there is a certain incorrect advertisement regarding the Varick Street Icon parking, for which the hotell allegedly validates its guests parking. True, for 25 hrs parking, after presenting our validated parking ticket, the price was reduced from $130 to $84. Great, isnt it? The problem though is that $130 is not the real price but the advertized price. If you are using the ParkWhiz app, the same parking, for the same time would cost you exactly the same $84, whether you stay at The Dominick or not. Otherwise, the parking price is fair for the area; it is impossible to find anything more affordable in the immediate vicinity. To sum up all of the above, only out of our dedication to the Dominick we rated it as 5 stars. A more unbiased approach would necessitate a 4-star rating. We are looking forward for the Management to take care of the above. We will be happy with another pleasant stay at the Dominick.
I had dinner at the Mezzanine. I was one of the first guests for dinner. It was the slowest service Id ever experienced. Every step of the way took ages. Then, when I finally got my burger, it was bland and unseasoned. They forgot to put dressing on my side salad. My server didnt check on me to ask if my food was ok. I had to ask the bartender for my check. Im never coming back.
Everything just works in this hotel. The layout of my room, quality of the furniture and ergonomics from desk to bed are outstanding. I appreciate good use of modern design where function is useful. From the front door to the attache service makes you feel right at home.
Lovely property in a great location. We booked through Expedia to use Expedia points then found out that the hotel would charge us $75 for a roll away for our son. (We reserved accommodations for 3 from the start) We were offered the option to upgrade to a room with a sofa bed for an additional $125. We opted for the upgrade and the room was clean and comfortable. We checked out paying for the additional upgrade. Several days later, charges came through on my credit card for another $70 and an additional $216. When calling to resolve I was told I needed to contact accounting who only work 9-5 Monday through Friday. What a hassle! What could have been a 5 star stay is now a 3 at best due to the time Ill need to take to remove the erroneous charges. Poorly done, Trump Soho.
The decoration and floor to ceiling windows was impressive. Perhaps the corner unit I was given had added something more even though it was not a high floor. The attention to detail was good including a very comfortable robe, chocolates, umbrella, make up station (for the ladies), lighting controls, etc. Even though it was not a suite, it had a small area with sink, fridge and microwave. There was also an additional TV in the bathroom and 3 Cisco phones! The all marble bathroom with rainfall shower was fantastic! And of course a very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. The wake up call was actually set up & made by an actual person rather than thru IVR. Too bad I was travelling for work and hardly spent enough time in the room. The only slight complaint was the lack of a laundry bag and the TV signal was out of sync.
This place is my favorite hotel in NY. Located in SoHo. Everyone wants to visit Soho, even local residents of Manhattan. Easy walking distance to the water, restaurants and stores... But the staff stands out as wonderful and practically unequaled in my extensive travel experience. They remember my name, my room preferences and even my favorite restaurants. The housekeeping staff even says see you again when they see me leave with my luggage.Cant say enough about this place!
The new hotel management is awful. we took a Suite for $1000.00 a night just to wake up to an unbelievable noise of drilling, and hammering. the front desk told us they are doing repairs and were really upset that i dare to complain about it. they offered me to checkout. I did. you should not check in
The Dominick - ReviewWe stayed at the Dominick in late April, we had no real idea of its history or location as we’d never stayed in NYC before. So we had very little expectation and with that in mind we were completely blown away with the service, location, quality, professionalism and how friendly and helpful the staff were! Special mention must go out to Andrew the best bar man in NYC, he also doubled as a concierge and overall trip maker for us. His advice and cocktails were all ‘on the mark’. Another highlight was Chris, one of the doormen, his friendly attitude and offers of help were much appreciated. Admittedly he had my wife won over when we first arrived and greeted her by name and told her they’d been waiting for us. Always a win when you’re made to feel this special. The location also was second to none, with TriBeCa, Soho, little Italy and east Village all within easy walking distance and surrounded by some of the most amazing restaurants we’ve ever had the chance to experience. To all the staff at The Dominick and to those we met at the bar staying at the hotel, thanks for a great trip and we look forward to staying again on our next trip and to those considering staying here please take our sincere referral.
Another incredible stay at the Dominick. This is my go-to hotel for business and pleasure in NYC.Good sized, well-appointed rooms, incredible views, and a staff thats second-to-none in a city that understands the importance of service. If youre going to NYC (and especially if you will spending a lot of time in SoHo) look no further than the expectational Dominick Hotel.Ill be back 2/5!
Thank you for a wonderful stay for another birthday getaway at Trump SoHo. This year equally as pleasant as last. We stayed in aSo-Hi view room on the 34th floor facing the city and it offered beautiful views both day and night. Last yr, we were satisfied with a regular room bc they are very large and clean for NYC hotel, but decided to try a higher room for different view. Upon check in, Nef was great and made special accommodations based on the arrival and departure of our flight and also was able to meet my request for a bathroom with a soaking tub with a view. Turn down service is very appreciated because we book 5 star hotels for those extras, coming in after a long day in the city to a cozy room with music playing, water and chocolates is great. We will never stay anywhere else. Although it was the last weekend the rooftop pool was open, we decided to relax by the pool for a little while and enjoyed some delicious drinks, food and great service. Highly recommend TRUMP Soho🇺🇸 We did miss having the restaurant in the hotel but so many great places to eat in Soho. We will be back again very soon, wouldnt stay anywhere else. Thanks to all staff for another great visit.
Not a big fan of Trump. I think that most of his properties are too over the top. This hotel does have great service, but I would say the atmosphere is too stuffy. The location is very mediocre and the rooms are VERY over priced. The hotel, like many in the Trump portfolio, has been running into some issues. I wonder why...
It’s a shame that I can’t show the pictures of my room here...He had the worst treatment ever in this hotel, our room was not clean at all, we had to wait until 5:30 pm to get the room cleaned. The sheets and the robes were already used, we founded a hairs on the bath tube, all the furitute had the a lot of dust, we also found a trash back of the cofre machine.Because we reserved through Jet luxury they told us they could not give us another room. They even gave us a late check out.So no matter if you pay 600$ a night.
Hotel is phenomenal, great location with amazing views. Highlight of it all is the amazing concierge team, Eric and the whole team really helped make the stay even more special, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in NYC, I will definitely be coming back!
No surprise when I opened the app and saw Yelp review a low score. No wonder Trump sold it. LolThe spa is far below 5 star standard. I purchased a groupon like $140 expensive for 60 minutes massage. However, I was not allowed to use swim pool. I was told its not part of Spa. The spa is right next to the pool BTW! I dined outside the Spa by the pool. The service was cold and tax 20% was enforced on the bill.Very cramped facility. The spa, the pool, the front desk, the hotel. Then a lot of signs put up in the spa you can not use this and that because its under maintenance. Very tiny Sauna right next to a toilet? Exo? Only 1 shower in ladys room.Nobody checked on me if I need a cold towel or drinks. The massage lady Christina was very good though. I like the shower head gives a rain feel shower with good pressure. Also the toilet is full automatic. Kinda awesome.
This hotel is fabulous with underpriced rooms in a beautiful location in south Manhattan with views that are extraordinary. If one desires to be more south in NYC, this is an excellent spot. A short walk to Soho, Tribeca, Westside, and finance district.Just a wonderful place to stay.
A luxurious SoHo stay, glad I wasnt paying for it myself.THe Trump SoHo is a fabulous hotel with super comfortable rooms and impeccable service, even down to the bottle of water waiting for me when I returned from my morning run. The largest bed I have slept in made it difficult to rise in the mornings, well either that or the fact that the fire alarm kept going off through the night. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again.
Set expectations & boundaries upon check-in!!! I agree with beautiful rooms and great location (Soho! You got to love it! And Tribeca, the Village, Noho, fabulous restaurants and shopping all in walking distance!) However, no room to hang clothing and had to hang my clothes on a portable clothes rack. It was disappointing for me. No free Wi-Fi in my room!! Me and my husband had the same unfriendly front desk experience which was easily resolved during our 10 day stay. We had to make the friendly gestures to the staff to have friendly encounters. What wasnt resolved were issues with housekeeping - ran out of TP, almost twice (had to call for more) complimentary items, etc. Spoke to a manager twice and then a member of housekeeping staff walked in on us while we were indisposed! She didnt even apologize!! For the amount of money spent you would think toilet paper and body wash would not be an issue! We reached out by telephone to several managers. No one called back. Dont think Id stay here again, they didnt earn my loyalty!! That being said, Im not letting that stop me from returning to NYC - best vacation spot!
Ive had a few business meetings here at Trump SoHo and it a great spot. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything you really want from a stay in NYC. Not my favorite hotel but definitely worth a try next time you are in the city. You will not be disappointed.
I have been staying at Trump Soho on and off since July for business travel. Everyone I have encountered at the hotel from the doorman to Rakel at the front desk have always been helpful and very accommodating. I certainly have my choices of hotels to stay but boy these folks certainly know how to make guests feel welcome!!! After a long day at work, I have had the honor and pleasure to be greeted by a true gem, Jen Delgado who is Food & Beverage Manager at Trumps new restaurant Spring and Varick. I have sat on the sidelines and sipped some fabulous wine and have watch Jen make every guest feel at home. To be honest this week I ate a late night dinner at the bar to enjoy the superb hospitality of Jen and her team.Axel and Drew are amazing bartenders and are very cheery and friendly. If you are traveling to NYC this holiday season or anytime, I high recommend Trump Soho.
Took my daughter to NYC for the first time and stayed at the Trump Soho a.k.a. The Dominick. A great location to see the city from. Great staff, clean rooms, kid friendly. Easy access to subway and travel time with Uber to La Guardia at 6 a.m. and was in the airport by 6:35a.m. (Monday)
Weve stayed at a lot of different hotels in varying locations in NY & the trump exceeds every one of them in every way. It simply is amazing.Service is big for me & this hotel has impeccably trained staff who offer impeccable service in a friendly sincere way. It could not be faulted. Angelina was particularly attentive after wed arrived with no luggage due to an airline malfunction. A bag of basics were sent to our room & it was enough to tie us over till the next day.The room: wow! The space was luxurious! I would honestly say its double any room weve ever had in nyc & thats saying something. Our room (2312) had a sofa, kitchenette with microwave, proper fancy nespresso machine, fridge with removable items & a sink. The bathroom: wow...spacious as well & lots of elegant marble without being froufrou. The rain shower was divine & the tub was heaven. The bed had a pillow top & was a spacious king size & totally comfy. Turndown happened each night & used towels etc were replaced & trash removed.Angelina advised us that our room faced a building so we prepared for the worst...it is Manhattan after all...but it was absolutely fine. We had a gorgeous view of the Empire State Building in all its colorful glory. The one downside would be that theres no Duane Reade close by like there is almost on every other corner. The 2nd is that the closest subway lines are a C & E. The 3rd is that the heart of soho ( Broadway) is a good 10 min walk.I guess though that Trump is smart...its not the absolutely perfect location but the exemplary service more than makes up for it.We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the trump soho!
Trump SoHo is the epitome of luxury hotel meets condo living. The rooms are modern and set up like a condo suite. The marble bathroom is chic and modern with a large tub by the window and a separate shower. This is definitely one of my favorite luxury hotels in downtown NYC. It is located in SoHo with many great boutiques, restaurants and bakeries nearby. The Dominique Ansel Bakery, inventor of the famous cronut, is just down the street. Live it up and enjoy your stay here!
No matter if we are far west in Waikiki or far east in NYC...the Trump brand always delivers. I always feel like im at home with family when I stay. Luxury is what you get with some pretty down to earth staff who make it happen. My kind of hotel. Should be yours too.
Absolutely perfect. The room was great for our family. The best part was the staff. They were kind ,courteous, and helpful. We witnessed the doorman Angel consoling a local homeless man whose dog had gotten in the road and got ran over. That is real compassion for others and he is a great asset to your business. We will definitely be coming back to vacation here again!

2022-06-08Excellent in every way.. I cannot recommend more highly. 12 out of 10. My crew and I were headed out of town overseas to do some work and we needed more time and space to sort equipment. Plus* I was recovering from surgery. No problems whatsoever. The service was always* PERFECT. The Dominick staff bent over backwards to help us in every way, and this was before* I even made it up to the beautiful room with a great tub and room. Whatever is better than first class? THATS the Dominick! Always impressed. Never disappointed. Thanks so much.

2021-06-20Positive: The bathroom was fabulous The bed was soo comfortable The linens and towels were perfect the doorman remembered my name every time I saw him. Most impressive. Negative: The room was drab It needs an upgrade from brown earth tones to something a bit lighter and not so office oriented

2021-09-01Location. Location. Location.Simply put, The Dominick is the closest to everything I want to see and do while I’m in town (shopping, street art, and exceptional smaller local restaurants). Tack on a staff that genuinely excels at hospitality, *the views*, *that pool*, and the always pleasant, often surprising totally random elevator exchanges with fellow guests and The Dominick quite easily dominates the top of the short list my favorite hotels to stay throughout the world. I really don’t think to stay anywhere else while I’m in town anymore.

2020-05-28I stayed here in August 2019 and loved it. It was very very clean. The room was bright and had a excellent view. The hotel lobby smelled super good and the staff were very generous. I had a wonderful time. I was looking to stay again this year, but since of Covid-19, my entire trip got cancelled.

2020-02-14I am so extremely disappointed already with this hotel and I haven’t been here a whole 24 hours yet. This is my wedding anniversary weekend and every year we come to New York and celebrate here since we both love this city so much. We look for beautiful rooms with great views that we will enjoy. I found the Dominic Hotel online and loved what I saw, so I reserved my room and anxiously awaited for my trip. When I booked I reserved a Skyline View room, a little pricey but hey I said no problem. Well when I get to the hotel I’m addition to my room charge with taxes and fees they advised that I needed to pay and additional $600 for a mini bar in my room, so of course I responded with no way then take it to where the staff continued to say no it’s for accidentales. I go upstairs to the room and in this hotel with 40 something floors I was put on the 16 floor with a supposed skyline view. When my husband went downstairs to complain another staff at the front desk advised him that they don’t offer skyline view rooms. Needless to say my husband was upset because this is something that is clearly advertised for this particular hotel. To add insult to injury we came in on a late flight and were really hungry so we go try their restaurant located inside the hotel and my husband orders a steak dish and when the waiter brings it out it has shrimp something my husband is very allergic to, had we seen that this plate had shrimp we would had ordered something else and when we tell the waiter he takes it back and then comes back out five minutes later where I ask did you just remove the shrimp and bring back the same plate he said yes I said but we told you he is allergic and this man responded with “WELL HOW ALLERGIC ARE YOU”???I am in complete shock thus far with the service and treatment in this hotel, so disappointed. And my trip is notOver I hope I don’t have to come back on here and continue to review poor service. But I do know I don’t recommend this place I work hard to enjoy good things and expect great service especially when paying so much for it and this place does not provide that. you

2019-07-21Check in was great and they got us in early. The room was good space and well appointed, as was the bathroom. I do wish there were irons in the room. The $40 service fee is a bit much on an already high price for what it offers.the pool area is nice but small. I was very disappointed in the bar at the pool. There is limited wine and the wine offered was HORRIBLE. The main bar had good wine so there is no reason that one could not get a good glass on the rooftop.Overall it is nice, but for the price it does not beg me to go back.

2020-02-10Had an amazing stay with my mom at this hotel. Wonderful location - close to the subway, Trader Joe’s and lots of restaurants. Staff was super helpful and responsive. We had an issue with one of the floor lamps, called the front desk and the service people came over within 10 min to fix the issue. Would definitely come back again!

2019-06-30Absolutely loved this hotel! Amazing lobby, guest service and the rooms were immaculate. The curtains were powered and open up to reveal such a beautiful view of the city. Good there was really good as well. I’d recommend going out to level 7 where the pool is. It’s a really nice scene out there and def good for photo ops. I’d definitely return!
