Strategic point that marks the beginning of Chinatown (if one comes from Dumbo) or the end point of the neighborhood. It is nice to walk around.

Historical place also known from the movie Gangs of New York, but very busy and noisy.
Start or end place (depending on how you look at it) of China Town. Nice to see.

2020-01-03Nothing special really. The arch looks okay but given its location (its in Chinatown) everything else looks pretty rundown and extremely dirty. People are trying to sell you stuff, spit on the ground, and the whole area has piles of trash much bigger than in the midtown Manhattan and smells bad. Theres an entry to the Manhattan bridge which might be enticing at first but as you start walking you realize that the cars are actually above you, too loud, and its actually scary that some stuff is going to fall on your head. Totally not worth it.

2019-07-19A hallmark place of the not so distant past when NYC was growing fast welcoming immigrants from all over. Nowadays is noisy and heavy with traffic. On the edge of China town.

2019-10-10This is where China town is. Unfortunately I was expecting a very cool place but it wasnt like that. It was very dirty and smelly and very little people spoke english
