This is a great neighborhood diner. The food was really good. They dont have the giant menu that some diners do but I think thats a plus because it lets them make better versions of the food.My only big knock on the place is that the tables are really close so it feels like you are always on top of other people. The prices arent low but they arent insanely high either. If you are looking for food comfort food I think this is a good choice.
I’ve ordered delivery several times from The Flame Dinner and am always very satisfied. It doesn’t matter the time of day, you will always get consistently tasty meals in a very timely manner. Their salads are huge and so fresh! The sandwiches are also jam packed, leaving you very satisfied.
What a great experience we had!!I was really wishing for a while now to go a new diner and selected this one cause it gave me a good impression. This place definitely deserves better reviews. The diner itself had like this old school ambiance, which made you feel really comfortable. They had a fee people around us that were apparently regular customers because of the way they talked to the owner and the waiters. The owner came to every table to make sure everything was ok, which to me was the cherry on top.Our waitress was Carmen, sometimes this other gentleman would come to our table to offer/serve coffee but she was our main waitress. What a friendly, polite person, she had a really nice vibe. They came to our table to pour coffee at least 5 times, I had 4 cups of coffee myself. It was very good, always hot and fresh, just how I like my coffee. :PAs per Carmens recommendation, me and my boyfriend ordered the Flame Omelette, it had bacon, ham, sausage and cheese and came with home fries and toasts. She read our faces perfectly cause she didnt go wrong! Our omelettes were made to perfection... delightful!! We both loved the selection!!!I wish to be back again in the future and try out a different plate. I saw some orders coming out and everything looked so delicious and freshly made.100% recommended!!!!!!
I was seeking a diner in this part of the city at a pretty early hour and this place came up in a search. As an avid pancake lover, I of course ordered some pancakes and was not disappointed. This score is really a pancake score. A diner must have good pancakes and these were very good. If anything the pancakes were a little spongy so I cant give them a 5 out of 5. Try this place out if youre in the area! I will come back again and perhaps update this review depending on the pancakes.
My boyfriend and I came here to eat after a concert nearby, got in around midnight. The server was so rude and impatient. Not even 2 minutes after being seated he asked us if we were ready to order and when we werent he muttered under his breath. Then when he did take our orders, he kept talking over us as though he was trying to guess what we were going to order midway through our sentence. He also didnt ask us what size we wanted for drinks, nor did he ask what flavor ice cream I wanted on my waffle sundae, and he took the menu away while my boyfriend was still looking at the ice cream soda options. He was in such a rush for a half empty restaurant! All that attitude on top of average food, at an extremely high price point. He wrote the receipt by hand and his writing was so illegible that I couldnt even dispute the price because I had no idea what he even wrote and I just wanted to go home at that point. But almost 60 dollars for an egg cream, a waffle with ice cream, chicken tenders, onion rings, and a cranberry juice? Idk about that. Yeah, wouldnt recommend this place.
First thing is the waiter was very disrespectful!! Im not sure if it was the color of my skin or what. We order food, The food comes not even 10 minutes later, without asking if we wanted anything more he puts the bill on the table and walks away. SMH!! I didnt eat the food was not the greatest!! I still tip the gentleman 20$ never again will I step a foot in this place!! The chicken soup was great 👍 👌
Exactly as advertised: Quick, simple, and reasonable. I have gone twice, the first time I ordered the two eggs with hash and toast. I ordered the eggs poached and they came out very nicely, still slightly runny yolks and solid whites. Well done bacon, fat still a little soft. The hash was also fine. Everything was well cooked, however it was also extremely plain as nothing was seasoned at all. Also ordered a cappuccino which was slightly greasy. The second time I ordered the eggs benedict, which was completely satisfactory, good canadian bacon, english muffins were a bit too soft they should have been toasted for longer, and the eggs were again good. The hollandaise had a bit of an odd flavor though, it didnt taste as I would have expected and lacked acid.
THE PRICE AND SERVICE ARE CRAZY! We ordered a sandwich (the “bread” was stone hard), some fries (frozen/not fresh), an omelet with a fish taste (maybe because the eggs are really cheap and from a box), and a Caesar salad with tomate and carrots… like… that was a first. The drinks were a small soda and two “smoothies” that were clearly not made from fresh fruit (it was supposed to be coconut banana and oj but we tasted the can ned pineapple 😔not the other ingredients) and the price ended up being more than in a real restaurant! It’s sad because there are not many 24 hours places in the neighborhood. Never going back!
Absolutely delicious breakfast burrito!!The service is amazing Kosana our server was one of the best we have ever had. The food came out lightning fast even though we made changes to the standard burrito (swapped the cheese for goat cheese)While this place may not be beautiful the service and food are amazing!!
Its a very lovely Diner. They have lots of seating. Especially booths. The food is ok. If i have to rate the food from 1-10 i would say 7. Friendly servers. The price is reasonable. You do get what you pay for. I orderes the grilled chicken salad. It was delicious and very filling.
The place is nice, reminded me of typical diners shown in movies. The staff were courteous and friendly. Price range is affordable considering the portion. The down side is, the burgers I ordered were on the dry side, when it was served, it was already cool. On the other hand, the meatloaf was good, full of flavors and the carbonara was delightfully different from what I am used to. Will go back again if time permits, but would stay clear of the burger.
This diner was a short walk from our hotel. It was late already and the hotel clerk recommended them. Service was typical NY, blunt not friendly but not rude . Its typical diner Burgers- fries , club sandwiches, breakfast. We had a little bit of everything that night and it was pretty good. Not great but okay.
Super Halloween Pumpkins to encourage social distancing and plexi glass between tables. Our server was so kind, he brewed a fresh pot of coffee just for me -- had I known, I would have asked for another drink. They have a diverse menu and friendly service. Servers continually checked on us and asked if we needed anything. Fairly priced as well. 5 stars for service -- thank you!
An absolutely delicious breakfast! We had the Eggs Benedict; Pancakces; and the Lumberjack breakfast (which was French Toast, your choice of eggs and toast)- in my case, I combined Ham with Swiss cheese omelette for my Lumberjack. The French toast was to-diefor! The Ham & Cheese Omelette was exactly how I requested- runny/under-done- absolutely HEAVENLY! Ill return for another breakfast before we leave NYC!
The food was very good but the service was not. I’m not sure if it was because it was late (2am), even though they are opened 24hrs. The waiter brought the check As soon as I took my last bite , without me asking for it. And if you pay with your card they charge you and extra percentage for not paying cash. Good food, bad service.
They are open all night so thats something. Food was just ok. The waiter forgot our order, when it finally arrived the omelet had the wrong cheese in it and the soda never came. No refills on the coffee or the water. When its time to pay there is a 4% upcharge if you use credit card. The cashier was abrupt. Again, theyre open 24hours so its better than nothing.
If you like frozen reheated food this is the place for you. Food looked like it was out of a frozen box and just reheated, even the syrup seemed like its been past its expiration. The eggs look like they came from the egg bag where its in liquid form. Only good thing about this place was the server.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, so as expected definitely pricey. But service was really prompt despite there being a small crowd -- greeted from beginning to end and was checked on repeatedly. Seating areas are kind of small especially when dining with someone. Ordered penne alla vodka which came with choice of veggie or chicken noodle soup. Soup was good, pasta perfect texture, but a little sweet. Overall good experience!
I had very good experience, i work in the area and my time is limited, so when i come here the food is served fast, fresh and delicious. the staff is attentive and charismatic. The price is slightly higher than a few other dinners, however, this is a good place, 24/7 very worthy, get more than you are paying.came here about 4 times and will keep coming for sure!
Amazing service. One of the waitresses always remembers my breakfast order, never knew that was something I needed in my life until I had it. Get the corn beef and hash with eggs and youll save money on the lunch youll be too full to eat later in the day. Whether you come in before you start your day or after a possibly too-fun night, youll find calm and the exact right sustenance for your mood.
Arrived late one evening after flying in from overseas; as I had a few hours to spend. There was a sweet & helpful waitress there and apologize; as I completely forgot her name. Over-all, everyone was great and the restaurant was clean. The environment truly reminded me of when I was my younger self working in a Greek restaurant. It just felt like home and really enjoyed my visit.Food was good and plentiful; as they did have a vegetarian burger and fries that I thoroughly enjoyed.People who arrived late (3am – 5am) seemed to be arriving from a club (very entertaining) or heading to or from work, like NYC finest (Police).Definitely worth a visit; especially if you find yourself needing something to eat really late or early depending on your perception of time.
Went there 3 years ago. Yes a late review. Found it by accident as staying in a hotel nearby. Had quite a few breakfasts and late evening meals after long days of sightseeing. Staff were amazing, food delicious and cant find a decent cheese steak sandwich in London like your one.
If you dont mind shelling 20 bucks for a breakfast omelet this is the place to be. Its a solid food NY dinner, with the NY dinner attitude and ambiance that is unique to this city and the genres. The menue has evolved to include Californian and Mexican influences ( mostly Avocado) but so did this city, so it all balances out. Me and my son loved it, loved the food, and the service. Think we are starting a new tradition...
I went in today before work! First thing i noticed is the attitude of the works! Not friendly. Then one one rolled her eyes when I told her I could not read the menu! It was small and blurred paper. She was rude about it! Instead she could have given me a real menu to read!
Ive eaten at a lot of sketchy diners but this one was disappointing in almost every single way. Flavorless, previously frozen food, served just above room temperature, at exorbitant prices. What was supposed to be chicken Pad Thai egg rolls had corn and Mexican seasonings in them but the waiter claimed they were the only egg rolls they had. Dont make the same mistake I did, eat literally anywhere else.
Overall bad experience. Food overcooked/ not good tasting. We expressed our feelings about the food, particularly that the pickles tasted spoiled/old. When we communicated to our waiter, he said I serve the food, I dont make it. Chuckled and walked away.Wouldnt recommend or return.
My neighborhood diner is always a great experience whether Iam ordering out my favorite well done burger deluxe or dining in. When my relatives from abroad come to visit we always take the time to enjoy dinner with this establishmebt. Very nice staff and the food is great.
Whilst visiting NYC from the UK, we wanted to experience the traditional USA Diner, so after reading several reviews, made our way to Flame. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table, the restaurant was very busy which is always a good sign. A waiter quickly attended and provided water and took our drinks order, while we had a good look through the menu which is extensive and has a great variety. Ordered the pancakes and waffles, with a side of bacon and eggs, we werent disappointed! Fabulously tasty food, great coffee, wonderful friend service, all at a reasonable price. Cant wait to come back again...!
I am giving The Flame five stars in the diners category. I have known the place for years, since I started working in the old Roosevelt Hospital. Standard but good diner menu with some Greek flourishes and attentive service, but thats not what is most important. It is the atmosphere created by the owners and staff making one feel like being part of the family. And constantly pouring more coffee into your cup. Working on the East Side now I stopped by one chilly day and was delighted they were open, recognized me, and were as inviting and warm as I remembered them.
Ive eaten there with take outs. Today I had need for a restroom. CVS whom I get meds & supplies including vaccines (flu, covid, etc) denied my request. I left went back to car where my daughter waited to go in to get our supplies. However I asked waiter at the flame who was very considerate n polite, gave me his permission although hes never seen or spoken to me. My daughter goes in n gets my meals. Which is quite good n tasty. Place is immaculate. Employees are friendly n courteous. Ill find another pharmacy but The Flame is my restaurant forever.
I ordered $11 pastrami sandwich via UberEats and place an extra sauce for my sandwich. They charged extra $5 for extra sauce withoutany notice. First of all, they isnt any sauce not like any other pastrami sandwich.Secondly, $5 extra charge for $11 sandwich?Worst pastrami ever. Just simple bun with pastrami and it has no sauerkraut either. I tried to call the restaurant but nobody answer. Not worth it
Bring your salt and be prepared to eat pre-packaged food. Its not the typical diner food...the waiter had to look at the menu to see what it was I ordered... seafood was overcooked, steak wasnt seasoned. Some of my partys food was still frozen...the lemonade wasnt sweet and the guy brought it back after he put sugar in the cup smh
Busy, hustle and bustle diner with typical diner food. A little pricey, but the service was good, even when I requested my blueberry muffin to be grilled, which was not on the menu. I was looking for a comfort-diner experience and its exactly what I got. Diner coffee, diner ambiance, with a little bit more business/patrons than I was expecting. Will go back, as I get the feeling that theyre reliable.
The worst diner in the world. If you are African American. I watch the waiter pass me and my friends by over and over never have us army water or even place silverware on our tables upon our arrival. When we asked and our request was anored so we decide ask to speak to a manager and the manager said that you people are never happy. What do you mean you people. He said you black people. My advice to all African American dont lower your standards on allowing people on putting us .
Ate here numerous times and food was great and service top notch. Staff were all very friendly and even had a few world cup discussions with some of them.Believe I chatted with the owner for a while as well and he was also very friendly. All in all would highly recommend this diner. The burgers are delicious and my family loved their breakfast and the fact it is available 24 hours a day. The coffee was very good as well.
Good food, we had cheese fries covered in mozzarella but they also had cheddar and some other cheese available. We went around 2am and it was safe and clean. The people who work there are very nice. A plus for me was that they have Dr Pepper, a rarity in the city I found. They also have good milkshakes and pies and cakes
I was looking for somewhere not completely packed and cozy so that I may read while having dinner at prime time on a weeknight. This place was surprisingly empty so I went in; I was seated right away and I when my waiter didn’t come by after a few minutes the manager/owner(?) came over and took care of me. I ordered a drink and basil chicken. The basil chicken was more of a stew (which I didn’t expect) but it was superb. The drink was ok and satisfying for the time but I probably wouldn’t go back there to order a drink (it wasn’t bad, but for 12 bucks I’ll do without).I will say: it’s a bit on the expensive side with specials that have average prices.Overall I was satisfied. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet it’s a great place to go. A few of the people seemed like regulars and the staff was more friendly with them.
The Flame Diner was cozy and welcoming. The service was quick and the staff was friendly and attentive. I sat at the counter and had a coffee (which was itself serviceable) and a slice of pumpkin pie, served with a generous dollop of whip cream and vanilla ice cream. The pie was delicious. I cant speak for the rest of the menu, but if the pie is any indication, patrons are in for a treat.
We arrived in NY like 3 am in the morning from our flight. This place was like a godsend since it was so near our hotel and it was opened during that time. The food was really good and big. Great for like a late night snack. The staff was friendly and surprisingly there were quite a bit of people around during that time as well
I have no complaints about the food or service here. Just a little on the expensive side but I guess owning a business in Midtown Manhattan would be quite expensive. What I really do like about this place is they are open and deliver 24 hours a day! Midnight snack with no food in the refrigerator? No problem! Just order from The Flame!
Located near central park, this one is open for 24 hours. They offer wide variety of options and are very professional.Just as you enter, you will be greeted by one of the staff and will be guided to the table. Then you will be provided with the menu.Once you order, you can expect them to deliver within 5 minutes.Food is tasty and ambience is pretty good.Prices are reasonable and service is fast. They also have 2 washroom for customer which is like added bonus.I would definitely recommended this to everyone.
Ive gone to The Flame on and off for over a decade. It was my friends favorite diner spot when we went to John Jay and weve visited it once or twice a year ever since. Service has remained consistent, which is great. Often they have veteran staff who are funny, good natured and witty. They serve good (if typical) diner food. The prices are good (especially in the Columbus Circle area). Highly recommend.
Staff were very rude and never used manors. Never formally greeted and owner hovering over tables. Food presentation was poor and taste was just as bad. I had fried chicken, the coating tasted burnt and the chicken tasted very sweet. My wife had roasted chicken and it actually looked like the chicken spewed on the plate, what was under the chicken was most likely stuffing but resembled spew. I complained about the food and the waitress simply took the plates with no apology.
This is a refreshingly normal diner-type restaurant in midtown Manhattan. Its spacious and has bright lights, booths, a counter with stools, and lots of neighborhoody-type people. My wife and I had dinner here in December 2016, on a Sunday night just before Christmas. We liked it a lot. My cheeseburger had a perfectly-toasted sesame bun, and my wife enjoyed her bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese. The french fries were good. Service was very good. No complaints! I will go here again.
Flame Diner had great food. I really enjoyed my meal. Beware though, no refills. I ended up paying over $10 for Sprite. Also, the bread that came at the beginning of the meal can only be described as edible. No flavor, it was like eating a flavorless shoe. However, my fried chicken was amazing.
YOU NEED TO GET THE CHICKEN PARM. Its truly fantastic, the best chicken parm Ive had in ages. The staff is attentive, truly great service. A gentleman noticed that I was waiting to use the bathroom, and sat back down when it was taking too long. When the restroom freed up, he let me know right away! Such great, hard working people there. Good drinks too! My girlfriend enjoyed the vegetable soup as well.
I am off today and decided to try this diner. The Food is Great and Im a picky eater. The waitress wasnt great but that is not shocking. I have found most customer service up north is below par. The floor manager was very attentive and helped serve me. I recommend coming here because the food is great! Also it is not expensive, I only spent twenty dollars for just myself. If you know anything about New York that is cheap eating.
We came here with a group of 6 on a busy afternoon. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was out promptly. One of our group ordered a salad, it was very fresh and HUGE! My turkey sandwhich was also fresh, yet a little plain as far as flavor goes. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and I could tell by tasting it they didnt just cook a frozen patty- or if they did, it was well hidden. The flavor seemed a little off though, and my daughter wouldnt eat it. All in all, no large complaints. The space was very small, so it was tricky to accomodate our group but it worked! We didnt get to the pies, but they looked amazing.
Nothing special to say about it. Its diner fare. The burger was nicely charred though. The size of the diner allows a lot of patrons so unlikely to get too crowded. You have to pay at the register and that causes a bit of a bottle neck when you leave. The wait staff is attentive.
A terrific dependably good meal every time. This is a classic, very well run Greek diner. Theyre open 24 hours and they deliver. The menu is huge and evrything is good, with Greek specialities extra good. Great comfort food, generous portions, fresh produce. Nice staff, great management. They have a bar and a liqupr license. Great desserts. Its a wonderful diner thats so accommodating to every dietary need. Many healthy menu options as well like oatmeal, whole wheat or buckwheat pancakes, terrific salads, for example, endless options it seems! I never tire pf Flame - terrific diner!
The service is mmaculately fast. Less than 5mins for breakfast and less than 10mins for a steak meal. Thats my kind of service. The food is wholesome and tastes down to earth, something this woman needed being so far from home. The people are AWESOME! So kind, beautiful and helpful, something else that helped being away from home. Thank you soooooo much Flame Diner staff for giving me the nourishment I needed to be able to tour your city during the day. God bless
My friends and I (4 people) were there 4 times in the morning to have breakfast during our NY holiday. The food was good and the waitresses are friendly. It is like the american diner you see in TV movies and blockbusters. I can recommend the ABC and CBS...find out what this means... The hot chocolate is also tasty ;-)
The waitress was very nice and attentive. The man walking around (Im assuming hes the owner) was not very welcoming. He was handling garbage outside then came inside and tried to serve me a slice of cake. He just walked around, didnt greet anyone or ask if anything was needed. If theres a next time, it wont be on a Tuesday.
Restaurants forget why their in business. Placed an order on their web site. Delivery person shows up with a credit card processing machine that cant pick up a signal. I remain ten minutes in the hall and it keeps resulting in an error signal. Delivery person tells me to write my card information down. I ask that he calls the Flame instead so I can provide card number over the phone, again a long big process before a person gets on the phone to enter my card number for payment. Finally a person gets on and refuses to tell me the total. I relate that the order was processed on line for X amount and I am adding additional X tip amt. The person completely is non compliant to provide me with my total and said problem with machine is because I placed phone order. I replied I placed the order on their online website. Yeah, yeah ,yeah he replies. Ultimately, they sent a minuscule slice of pie cold French fries and wrong flavor of one scoop of ice cream thirty bucks later! What a rip off and poor customer service. Last time will ever waste my money when in the mood to indulge . Total waste.
The food is tasty and great that it is open 24/7, but the items are definitely overpriced. Additionally, I had an experience with my boyfriend one early morning where our bill came out about 10$ over what it should have been according to menu prices so my advice would be to check what they are billing before you pay...
First off, it is a typical diner with typical diner food, so it starts at a 4 star level. Nothing wrong with 4 star diners, Ill eat at 4 star diners all day long. But there are two major problems with this dinner. First issue is customer service. The waitress didnt greet you, smile, look at you, and she mumbled. When I went to pay, the older gentleman also did pretty much the same. The second problem with this diner are the prices. The breakfast specials had 2 eggs with toast, potatoes, juice, and coffee for $7.45. That is a special? If I wanted corned beef hash, it would have been $4.95 more. $4.95 for hash? It must be this amazing homemade hash, right? NOPE! It is from a can. If the food were amazing to match the prices, it would be justified. But the food is okay at best. Ill avoid this place next time.
As a Fordham Lincoln Center student, this diner is my EVERYTHING. Any time of day, even the occasional 2AM, my food is perfect and inexpensive. My usual waitress, Joanne, is always SO sweet. She gave my friend free mozzarella sticks once and said, No kid leaves here hungry! Everyone is nice and the environment is great and so is the food. Easily my favorite place to eat in NYC. Its like a second home!
I love the Flame. I have eaten there many, many times over the past 10 years or so. The food quality is better than the average diner. Prices are a bit high, but no necessarily too high for Manhattan. I have found the staff always to be friendly, and they are very accommodating about special requests on the menu, and are happy to give you either a soup or a salad, even though menu says comes with salad. Very clean, also. Highly recommend the Flame. Another poster said the Olympic Flame on 10th Ave. is better, but I would totally disagree with that. Quality of food not as good. Go to the Flame on 9th Ave. Not gourmet food, but excellent diner food!
A great late-night haven. Gotta love the rotating cake frodge near the front door. Cake pieces are enormous. Not great on Greek items but the diner standards are very good and cone out fast. Service is very friendly but they love to upsell so you have to ask how much the cheese / French fries / etc will be.. You will be paying Midtown Manhattan prices, which are getting higher. A good find was grilled cheese for $5, and the bottomless coffee is $2. Not cheap but again, the prices make sense at 3am, staff is friendly and well-trained, and the menu is huge.
I really enjoyed my pastrami Reuben. It was actually open-faced which surprised me, but turned out to be way cleaner of an eating experience, which I appreciated. This place seemed like a classic NYC diner. Its packed and efficient and all the other food I saw there looked great.Women speaking Russian, producers talking about tv shows, older UWS retirees eating just a bowl of soup or a piece of toast. These are only some of the customers youll see enjoying this very solid diner. If you are near this area and want diner food, a very solid choice.
I appear to be providing a service of sorts according to Google so I will continue sharing about my restaurant experiencesThis was my 1st visit to The Flame Diner - I went in with very high expectations - this because the genre of restaurant is a staple of NYC eating out, and I almost always delight in the consistently tasty wholesome foodI recently posted a depressed, scathing review of another such diner because it was very disappointing and I expected betterThe Flame Diner however was right down the pike for great food, service and ambiance appropriate for this kind of establishmentIf you live or work or see doctors in the area (its adjacent more or less to Roosevelt Hospital) trust you will be pleased with the service and the food
If you can get passed the stench of the filthy restrooms wafting into the dining area...and that is through 2 doors...seriously, go to the back of the restaurant and tell me it doesnt take your appetite away. Then, do not plan on catching up on paperwork over breakfast because they wont share the wifi. The question, or any question seems to urk the staff. Seriously I try not to give bad reviews but it is clear to anyone that the owners have no interest in creating a dining experience that makes any customer wish to return a second time. Besides, after leaving a tip I was .03 short but the hostess still insisted on breaking another coin. I recon they really need the 3 cents! Each his own.
Probably NYCs worst burger. I ordered medium rare and it came out almost not defrosted. I returned it and they gave me a new one. It still wasnt great. The bun was very sweet and the rest of the burger left a lot to be desired. Sadly, the service is quite rude and abrupt.
A great breakfast spot for me on my way to work. I stop in several times a week. Food is always nicely prepared, and the servers are sweet, and eager to please. Sometimes service is a bit over zealous though. I dont drink coffee. Sometimes I have tea. Im always offered more coffee when Im having tea. Multiple times. Its kind of funny. And the tea bag is like, right there by the cup... More coffee? No, this is tea. More coffee? no thanks. More coffee? No really, this is tea. More hot water? No, I just fixed the tea the way I like it, more water will mess it up. 5 minutes later, More coffee? But I appreciate that they are making an effort to provide something extra 😁
The waiter at our table was rude. After showing ID for a beverage, he asks how old am I. After telling him my age he still chose not to believe me and called his manager who had to inform him I was of age. Afterwards he refused to serve our table, choosing to instead socialize with other patrons directly across from us. No apology offered by management. The food couldnt even redeem the horrible service.

2022-03-06Large space to dine in. Proves of vaccination required. Breakfast, lunch or dinner American classic menu. Tables for 124 dinners. Attended by diligent personnel of hostess, waiters, delivery’s staff. On Manhattan Midtown upper East side. Razonable prices.

2022-03-02Descent diner, but Im not particularly happy with the food. It could have been much better. Specifically the Baklava dessert wasnt that good, despite the fact that this place was supposed to be greek and greeks are big on Baklava!Anyway since this one of the few 24hr diners in the neighborhood, I hope they be around for long long time!

2021-11-14You can get pretty much everything here. Went in for dinner after the run. The bison burger was little bit on the dry side. The server was very very friendly & nice. Everything else was good. Nice & clean.

2022-07-01A friend and I came by last night and I had the chicken souvlaki. The chicken was tender and the tzatziki sauce was really delicious. The waiter was exceptional. He was an older gentleman who made us feel at home.

2022-03-14Great diner in midtown! It was probably the last place still open around the Broadway area but we were surprised by the amount of people dining there. The food and service were good.

2022-08-14We had an amazing time here! Waiter was very kind and helpful. Dinners were served with generous portions. Very homey atmosphere. Came back a second night and they remembered us and welcomed us home. The food was really good and the owner came and gave us a complimentary Strawberry cheesecake to share. My first time trip to New York and this was a highlight!

2021-09-27I didnt plan to eat breakfast here but it was a good thing. The Salmon Benedict was an interesting alternative to the Eggs Benedict. Its nice to know that there is a 24/7 place to go to if one is feeling hungry.

2022-06-29Cant speak on the whole menu since I only always order their burgers. But their burgers are so good, big juicy meat patty with a big serving of fries, tons of lettuce and tomatoes. Always satisfying. Service is fast too, and they are friendly and courteous. Looks clean. I did find their lemon meringue pie to be disappointing though. Kind of made me not want to try their other desserts.
