After having watched all the episodes of Friends back to back atleast 5 times, this visit was long due. My awesome boyfriend (my lobster 😋) booked this experience for us and we had a blast! Right from the awesome entry to the Friends couch and fountain scene, to Central Perk at the end, it was so great to walk through all those sets where the Friends cast made us laugh and cry! The best part of this experience was how the photos clicked at the scenes were sent to us on our emails at no additional cost. So after clicking loads of pictures and muttering every Friends dialogue we could remember, we came out happy and glowing. Watching Friends episodes now has an entirely new meaning for me ❤️ This place is a must visit for all Friends fans!!
This was fantastic! Highly recommend for fans of the show. The staff are all very nice and will take pictures of you with your phone if you want. There are also several spots where they have either a professional camera or iPad set up to take your picture for you and email it to you for free. Theres also an option at the end to buy your picture and put it in a paper frame with magnets (for the fridge). The apartment sets were really really accurate and felt so special to be in. The central perk set was pretty good. There is some really cool memoribilia and props from the set to see too. As well as the pivot couch going up the same staircase as in the show. The ticket is a little pricey but worth it, especially with all the staff taking pictures of you throughout. They require vaccination and masks throughout.
I loved this and Im a huge fan of Friends.. I watched it back when it originally aired and still watch the reruns all the time! It never gets old. This was an awesome thing to get to see and a fun experience for true fans of the show. If you arent a big fan of the show, then you probably wouldnt enjoy it.
For all the friends fans out there, this is a must visit place whenever your are in nyc. Loved every bit of it. Its a guided tour and the guides will make sure youre having a great time, I was in a solo trip and the guides would never hesitate to take my picture whenever I asked them. Right at the entrance, youll be seated on the famous couch and then youll be taken to the Monicas apartment setting, then to the Chandlers and Joeys apartment and along the way youll find all the iconic moments displayed like Monica with the turkey on her head and Joey with all the Chandlers clothes and so much more, not to forget the famous central perk with the orange couch at the center and you can also order coffee at this Cafe. At each point theyll be taking your photograph free of charge which will be emailed to you later. I truly enjoyed this place and would definitely visit it next time with my husband.
If you are a friends fan, just go. Worth every minute. Every penny.Starts with an overview of the tour. Followed by artefacts and key material (Rachels letter, Monicas vows etc)Then comes the epic apartments that we have seen growing up. Exact replica was insane. Feels epic, nostalgic, overwhelming if you are a true friends fanVisit. Visit. Visit.
A little pricey but a pretty awesome experience. You get to recreate funny scenes from the show, they take your pic for you and put them online. You can actually order coffee and treats from the cafe. Fun and well done. I was pleasantly surprised. If you are a hardcore fan it’s a must.
I am so glad we did this when we visited New York. I am such a fan of FRIENDS and this was a dream come true. The eye for detail, I actually thought I was in the real studio’s. It was nice that they took pictures of us if you wanted too and sent them too us later that day. Also the gift shop was very nice! We even bought some things :)
Truly enjoyed this experience! Took my 28 @ 20 year old daughters and my best friend and we had a blast! Hate that we had to wear a mask but you are allowed to take it off for most pictures. The merch at the end is expensive go prepared! But overall very fun trip, easy to find and navigate, we drove 2 hours to get there and would do it again!
Fun place to go. Very expensive. Buy ahead to save a few extra dollars. Was a fun experience.Security was kind of rude. My adult sons were trying to help me carry the coffees I purchased for them and they stopped them from coming into gift shop to help me. I wasnt able to carry 4 coffees out so the employee had to walk around and go outside and deliver it. I was so upset I didnt buy what I wanted.
PROS: Absolutely amazing! They had many artifacts in their museum sections that shows movie props. They also had the boys and girls apartment along with the couch/fountain, the pivot staircase, the wedding chapel, and perks cafe where you can order cafe stuff from. All staff members are friendly tooCONS: They dont have a phone number for you to call and ask questions. The tickets are also overpriced and they arent open half the days of the week.OVERALL: Im not even a Friends fan and I liked it, so whether you are or youre not I highly recommend coming here
Super fun experience, ideal for ultra fans like me. You get to take pictures in the most famous spots and stages of the show. The staff is really friendly and helpful to make you have the best time. You are gonna take lots of pictures and videos for sure, and you can end up grabbing a coffee right at the Central Perk. The merchandising is super expensive, though.
Really fun and well planned out. Its great that they also take pictures for you. After you check in they give you a ticket with a code on it and as they take pictures they send to your email. Not too crowded as small groups go in at different times. However, the larger the group the more wait time there is between sets. Also a good amount of memorabilia along the way. Its ends at central perk and a store to buy merchandise.
This is the most fun exhibit I’ve been to. I loved the show and this experience did not let me down. Tickets are like $45-55 depending what day you go but the whole experience takes like 1-1.25 hours to get through. If you’re a fan, you should deff go. They also have a life cafe just like the one in the show where you can actually order coffee and snacks. You take pictures through out the sets are included into your ticket.
Awesome place to visit if your into the show! Feels like your really on set! Little pricey but included is a picture card that the staff will use to take your pictures at different spots. Then they will also take pictures on your phone for you at places they don’t do the photo card shots. Great feature! Then at the end they email them to u. U can also get them printed out but that costs extra.
Oh my gooddddIf you are a true F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fan..You are going to get lost at this place.I relived a Lot of moments which might have got lost. The exquisite detailing of Monicas appartment was heart warmingDifferent costumes worn by the 6 characters,.. made me visualise the entire episode woven around it.It was a Paradise
Easy place to take visitors and have one extra thing on the agenda. Great if youve already exhausted top of rock at Rockefeller center, timesquare etc... great location afterwards to grab lunch or dinner. Everything easily reservable online. Hit or miss wether you have long line or not. Recommend
The FRIENDS Experience is great. Little expensive but totally worth it if you are friends tv show fan. Its designed to immerse fans in the universe of iconic TV series like never before. But due to the COVID you cant really take pictures without the face mask. You are required to wear the mask at all times but you are able to take it off at locations where the FRIENDS staff members take pictures with their professional camera. Then you receive all your photos directly to your email through a link. I had a great time there. I also enjoyed coffee at central perk cafe. The souvenirs are good too, stuff toys, T-shirts, bags, photo frame but expense. The Friends Experience will be a must-do activity when visiting NYC.
A must visit for anybody who is a fan of the show! The entire experience includes real life replicas of iconic scenes, the apartments, as well as exhibitions full of costumes and real props from filming. The staff was very nice and there’s a multitude of photo opportunities everywhere!
My friend and I came here over the weekend and we had an amazing time! We got to take our time and no one rushed us. The staff was super friendly and they set you up with a QR Code, take photos of you throughout the experience and email all of it to you at the end for free. We were allowed to order coffee from Central Perk and still take photos but due to Covid you couldnt sit inside but they did have an outside set-up. Honestly, I had such a great time that I would definitely do it again. If you truly love this show, do not hesitate and visit this place!
Incredible experience for REAL Friends fans. You can take pictures in the iconic surroundings, have your pictures taken and sent to you by email as well as learn fun facts and see real props and costumes. If youre not a real fan, its a waste of your time. Important: it closes at 8 pm so if you buy a ticket for 7pm and enjoy yourself on the way slowly absorbing the atmosphere and taking pictures, you wont have time to buy a cup of coffee or sit and chat with your friends in Central Perk :(
INCREDIBLE!!! As a fan of the show this was so fun. The experience was made even more fabulous by the amazing staff that made our time here 10000% worth it! The tickets were well priced for all you get, well curated scenes, a Friends museum, 5 professional and unique photographs, a gif of yourself, etc. and make sure to venture into Central Perk for a coffee after. Also, they are very Covid Conscious and have sanitizer stations and require vaccine status and masks. We felt very safe during our time there.
It was really cool! I love Friends so the whole experience meant a lot to me to see all the props in real life. Staffs were also very nice taking pictures for us. Minus 1 star for two things: 1) the location is wrong on Google Maps!!! Do not go to 90 Mercer st and 2) tbh I wish there were more for how pricey the ticket was.. the merchandise was also very expensive.
The experience was so much fun! Joanie was super organized with the line outside and Angelina and Gina helped me register my ticket and where to scan the QR code. Sydney made such a fun and informative intro speech for the experience! Walking through you get to see a ton of memorabilia from the show; from outfits to props to even mock ups of the set design. They even have a really cool area downstairs full of memorabilia and these really cool TVs where standing in a light will help you hear them - they’re like headphones but germ free! Monica’s apartment was great to walk around and I took so many photos in there - Nom and Akilah took lovely photos of me at the purple door (that I happily ended up buying a print out of at the end that came in their version of the yellow frame from Monica’s apartment!) Serigne got a great photo of me with the mannequin of Monica with the turkey head. And Nom (again! It’s like she teleported) took some fun photos of me in the guys apartment! Those recliners are so comfy but just know! You can’t actually recline them but thats okay :) Curtis had the greatest energy when it came to taking a boomerang at Pat The Dog, that was definitely really fun to do! Ryan helped me with a cute photo with Pheobe’s grandmothers cab (yes, the ACTUAL CAB!) and Teresa took a banger of a photo of me in Central Perk that I just had to buy as well. My experience was so great and not rushed at all. Everyone was super sweet and great to talk to. I highly recommend this place for Friends fans :)
1000% worth it. Clean, well organized and staff were super friendly. In each room, you are able to leave your jackets/belongings in designated baskets and free to take as many pics as you’d like! The professional pics they take for you are also emailed to you for FREE the same day. If you love FRIENDS - or even just like the show - this will be the highlight of your visit to New York. So nostalgic and very memorable. Lots of things to look at in addition to the apartments and coffee house. Suggest to book in the mornings when it’s not as busy. Because of this, we were able to stay for almost 2 hours with no rush at all :) DO IT!!!
Being our first time in NY and a diehard friends fan, I was so excited to check this place out! We purchased our $45 tickets online and stood in line outside for about 20 minutes before they brought us in for ID check, vaccination proofs and ticket check. That was when they told us we had to be FULLY vaccinated and turned us away, telling us that our tickets were non-refundable.. Not only am I extremely disappointed, I’m mad that it was not noticeable when I purchased the tickets. Thinking maybe I missed the memo, I checked back over the website and still do not see it mentioned. I’ve been in town for nearly a week now and this is the only place I’ve been that asks for both vaccines. What a let down.
Literally the greatest the experience for someone who loves FRIENDS!!! We had the best time exploring all the sets, props, & fun facts. Be sure to book your tickets online to avoid waiting in line. I would suggest going at a non-peak time b/c its cheaper. The tickets & all items in the gift shop are excessively expensive, but I was expecting that. The Central Perk coffee shop was closed for indoor dining b/c COVID, that was a huge bummer. Wish we knew that before going so we couldve postponed. The selection in the gift shop is really mediocre, that was a disappointment. But the actual tour & walkthrough itself was wonderful! The staff was very helpful & friendly.
This was a really fun experience with all of the sets, photo opportunities, and fun trivia. However I felt like there wasnt enough time in each room given all of the things there were to do/see. The employees often rushed you between rooms and for the price of the tickets I would have liked to be able to spend more time enjoying the experience at a self selected pace. The merchandise selection also wasnt as robust and unique as I would have expected it to be. Still overall it was a fun experience and I would recommend going...just manage your expectations.
My wife and I had fun at the Friends experience. A lot of cool memorabilia and interesting information about the show. Both my wife and I had a cappuccino at Central Perk and we both thought it was the best cappuccino we’ve ever had. I expected gross, gimmicky coffee but it was actually incredible. All of the staff was very friendly with the exception of the lady out front when you are in line waiting to get in. She was very rude and aggressive with people and it started the experience off on a bad note. Fortunately once we got past her, everything and everybody else was nice and we had a great time.
My adult daughters and I went to the FRIENDS Experience in Dallas in January 2022. We are all fans of the show and have binged it A LOT! We had a great time touring the sets and seeing the props and costumes from the show. There were several attendants placed strategically at different photo ops so you could have your picture taken while standing in the sets. There was also a lot of great backstory information about the show. I highly recommend the FRIENDS Experience to any fan of the show. It will bring back great memories for you!
This was a cool experience! Definitely a once in a lifetime thing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! They were more than willing to take everyones photos for them. You also get the opportunity to buy 4 photos at the end of the experience BUT they also email you them which is amazing! I did feel rushed going through the end merchandise shop. It was snowing outside and my friend and I were trying to figure out where to go to next and a lady shouted at us that we couldnt stand inside anymore. Since we were done with the experience we had to leave the facility, which I thought was very rude after just spending close to $150 in there. Because we were rushed out I left my pepper spray there. BUT definitely a must see one time if youre a friends fan
My wife is a big fan of the show and it was her birthday so she was beyond thrilled. She was in seventh heaven and I also thought it was so awesome until the very very end we had this unnecessary hiccup with a staff member. My wife is a nurse so we completely agree and encourage the face mask wearing at all times…however with that being said at the taxi exhibit right before central perk, my wife pulled her mask down to take a picture (which she was in the wrong for doing) but then she was aggressively yelled at by this staff member that they have “told us multiple times by multiple people to keep our masks on”…that was false, nobody had came up to us at all throughout the whole experience (in fact I was even laughing with most of the staff how cool it was) I politely tried to tell the disgruntled employee that she must have the wrong couple, but she refused to even deescalate the situation which would have been the proper steps again because we fully agree and want to comply with the masks. This rude employee continued to embarrass us in front of others and told us she is going to remove us. I was so upset because we were having a great time the whole way though until this isolated situation. I honestly would like to be refunded OR credited to go again. However I understand if we can’t because again my wife was clearly in the wrong for sliding her mask down. As a hotel manager though I believe most often these situations should be approached in a deescalating tone rather than a escalating one I also hope this particular employee gets reprimanded. She may have been having a bad day or something? But also please tell your staff to be more clear with their communication. This rude employee told us they have radios, but was somehow unable to tell us who it was that spoke with us. There was obviously a miscommunication. I’m curious to see how this comment is handled. If it is ignored, that will clearly be a red flag. So go enjoy this place, it is pretty awesome, but just be mindful of any mean employees. Thank you - Michael Creighton
Oh. my. gawd. happiest moment of my life. the sets looked amazing. there were so many photo ops. the staff was adorable. they called everyone “friends” and were truly the nicest , most energetic, loving people who made this day so fun. even got to stop into central perk for a coffee( i know!) , which was somehow even better than starbucks imo. everything was definitely monica clean. masks are enforced besides photos, when you’re six feet apart from others. hand sanitizing stations nearly every two feet which is great ! the gift shop is adorable as well with so many options (including hugsy). could it BE any better !?
My husband, granddaughter and I all went to The Friends Experience the one in Dallas. It was amazing!! From the sofa in front of the fountain to Central Perk and everything in between it was everything I imagined and more!! My granddaughter and I felt like Ross and Rachel on the stairs pivoting the sofa. She was screaming out Pivot!! It was so cute!! We loved seeing the scripts and the 18 page letter (front and back) Rachel wrote to Ross. Monica’s kitchen is Monica clean!! Sitting in the Barca loungers at Joey and Chandler’s was great!! This is something every Friends fan should get to experience. Well worth the price and wait.
This was so much fun. Highly recommend for any fan of FRIENDS. We could not believe how many props and costumes they had from the show. Brought back so many memories for my wife and me. Our daughter just got into watching and is up to season 3 so she loved seeing things but unfortunately lots of spoilers for her. 😀.We were pleasantly surprised that at about 6 iconic areas they take your pictures and send you the pictures. It is all very well done. Janice being the host at the beginning was a fun surprise. We all loved it.
Was not sure what to expect after booking the tickets. But after arriving I was very pleased. They strictly enforce SOCIAL DISTANCING. The exhibits are NOT CROWDED. They have multiple locations where they take photos of you and email them to you at end of the exhibit (included in the price of the ticket). Takes about 75 minutes to walk through. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of photo opportunities. They do not rush you through. At the end you can purchase pastries and/or coffee. They also have a gift shop at the exit (you don’t need tickets if you just want to visit the gift shop).
If you are a fan of the TV Show Friends, you need to take a trip down memory lane. The laughs, the nostalgia, the memories of a simple time come flooding back. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional.Covid safety measures are on full display, so it felt safe exploring the different exhibits.Highly recommend.
Being a Friends fan, I was so excited to visit this place but I must say it was most unfriendly experience. To click pictures with masks on the entire time ruined the whole experience. Their website says you can take your masks off during predetermined photo locations. Don’t waste your money unless you want the mask on for the whole event even with proof of vaccinations. Staffs were biased, rude, and harassing, they were literally following everyone everywhere. We felt so trapped the whole time.
I love this place. If you are a fan of the show, you definitely need to visit while they still have it open. The prices are a bit outrageous for tickets. You are not allowed to go back only forward to other attractions. The staff is super super friendly. Very warm and welcoming. They are patient with the pictures. The items they had on display are worth checking at. Overall the visit is short lived but everything included is priceless for the Ultimate friend fan.
One of the coolest things Ive ever done! It was exactly like walking onto the set of the show! The staff was super friendly, the Wake was not long at all, it was very clean with tons of hand sanitizer around every corner and the coffee shop there makes a delicious cup of coffee! We did not have tickets they were sold out online and were able to get in a standby line and in the front experience in under 10 minutes oh, Im really glad we still decided to go even though it was sold out!
If you are a FRIENDS fan I definitely recommend going here. The only annoying thing was that we had to wait in line for half an hour even though we had tickets and also at some points we felt a little as though the staff was trying to rush everyone through the museum.
Beyond my expectations! Amazing time! The attention to detail is exceptional. They are very clean, social distancing is followed, and the staff is very friendly. Being a HUGE fan of the show I was not disappointed in any way. If you enjoyed the show you will certainly enjoy this experience!
5+++++ stars ! If you love FRIENDS then this is a must see in NYC! Very clean! Excellent props and great picture taken opportunities throughout the experience! The staff is top notch! Plenty os hand sanitizers and very clean bathrooms throughout the tour. Even can drop ov your luggage for a small 3.00 charge. You get every picture for free to send to your email. They even have a real operating central perk coffee shop! Highly recommend without reservation! Well worth the price of admission!
So it was a good experience not going to lie. But for the price. I think it was totally not worth that. But I only plan to go there one so I said whatever. The staff was friend but when I ask if they could take individual pictures they said no one group pictures even after I begged. We had to pay an additional 3 for them to keep out coats after paying over $60 to get in. So it was good yes. But for the price I paid I didnt enjoy it that much. I expected more. Even a little free souvenir. And dont even get me started on the gift shop. Its ridiculous
Die hard fan of the serie, so Im gonna be a little biased. It was really exciting to see all these places (where I felt like Ive already been, having watched them so many times). The staff takes you five pictures in determined places (on the sofa intro, the chapel, the pivot sofa, the central perk sofa, Monicas apartment) and is very nice. At the end theyll send you for free the pictures via mail. It was cool to see also some costumes (armadillo) and stuff of the serie (like the box where Chandler hides to expiate for his fault with Joey). A bit pricey but I recommend it.
The Friends Experience itself is great. The experience getting in was not great. The timed tickets are not exact, more of a suggestion. The que for timed tickets went down Lexington St. just shy of 22nd street (thats a long line!). We arrived 35 minutes early for our 6:50 ticket slot. It took 60 minutes of waiting in line to enter the building, then another 10 minutes for the tour to start. Once the Experience starts, its great. Itll take about an hour to get through everything.
Amazing exhibition ! I loved being put on set! I wish we could spend more time to actually appreciate everything in details, but they are victims of their own success I guess! What impressed me the most ? The staff ! Extremely « Friendly » !! Thanks guys for your amazing welcome!
Had a blast. Only reason its not five stars is because at the end we were not informed that if we stepped out of the cafe, we wouldnt be able to go back in... We decided to do the gift shop first because I wasnt sure wed be let back in there either and we wanted to get souvenirs, but then we couldnt get back to the cafe for coffee and cheesecake, and Im not paying another $50 to spend more on coffee... 😔 Frustrating as we were looking forward to that the most, but excellent otherwise.
Friends fanatic? This experience is definitely something worth checking out. The price is $65 per person and you can check in your coat for $3. They do check your bags. Obviously I was there to take pictures of the most popular sets in the tv series. The staff was nice enough to let us use our phones to take photos to have immediately but also professionally taken photos where you’ll get a digital copy of all the photos at the end of the tour. Were there regulations for social distancing and protecting yourself and everyone else from Covid? Yes. Were people abiding by the regulations? Not quite. Everyone needs to have their masks on at all times including photos but people weren’t really social distancing, especially when it came to lining up for photos. Based on reviews I read from others on google, I didn’t feel rushed at all throughout the tour. They let us take our time, especially when we wanted to take photos on our phone at certain spots. The staff was very friendly and greeted everyone with “friends”. The experience took about an hour and a half at most. At the end of the experience, Central Perk was open for ordering pastries and drinks. The menu is in the images. Was it worth the price? Not at all. I ordered basic things like cocoa, which tasted watered down, and the Rachel and Chandler cheesecake which was mediocre at best. The souvenir shop was interesting but pricey as expected. I didn’t get anything but it was nice to see what they offered. I would like to revisit when the mask rule is lifted so I can have these photos maskless.
Firstly - we visited every possible tourist attraction in NYC before coming here, plus traveled on crowded subways, plus previous traveling during the days leading up to our trip to NYC...Yet this was the ONLY place we visited that required a mask to enter and tour the venue. Seriously? A sitcom museum is where they drew the line at masking? As for the actual Friends Experience, it was far overpriced and overvalued for what you see. It is not worth $50 USD per person to look at worn articles of clothing and a mock TV set.Quite disappointed.
One of worst experiences. There was so much hype about the place but once you are they you are directed by staff to stay or move. They provide you access card where their team clicks photos there mask CAN BE REMOVED otherwise if you want to click your own photos with group you CANNOT REMOVE mask. What type of policy is this?We caught one of the staff members taking picture of a group without mask in one of the rooms where we were asked not to remove mask at the time of photos. When we caught them he asked them ( the other group) to put on their mask. They were completely biased with our group and followed us everywhere so that we can’t even take our pictures, harassed us badly and one of the staff members said - “ I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE”You can’t even stay at one place and enjoy the experience. Complete waste of money. Please re-hire your staff where they care about customer experience.Highly not recommend until they re-hire new staff with customer friendly policy.
Took my wife here and we were both impressed with the recreations of the scenes. Very detailed and clean. Sanitizers and wipes everywhere. Very open space only letting few in per room allowed you to take your time. Had to take a star out because the coffee was way too bitter and could not finish it. Other than that, very cool experience glad we went.
We loved it! The walk through was amazing and the staff taking the pics were very nice and took great pics. Ending with Central Perk was the best finishing touch. We bought coffee, treats and goodies as memorabilia. Well definitely be returning when masks arent a thing, they ruined our pics! Lol
Unreal experience. I was concerned that I would miss out because I was late for my booking but the staff informed me I could use my ticket at anytime during that day. Once inside after the safety briefing you’re allowed to stay for as little or as long as you’d like. I visited on the 13th May and we were still required to wear masks in all our photos. That’s the only disappointing part.
This is a tourist trap, and not worthy of Friends! Went in with pretty high expectations and were let down by the quality of the check in staff (6 of them just hanging around leaving you waiting for 15 min with no idea of what happens next) and the overall “experience”. It took less than 45 min to finish, basically involves taking some pics with props, and then you’re out. Certainly not worth $50.
Great place to visit if you are a Friends fan - and who isn’t? I haven’t seen all the episodes, but love the show. They have recreated Monica’s and Joey/Chandlers apartments, Central Perk and have four photo spots where they take pics of you without a mask. Everywhere else, you are required to wear a mask - they are great about enforcing it and there’s plenty of sanitizers and wipes - so it does live up to their Monica Clean claim. Fun place to visit!
This was AMAZING! If you are a Friends TV Show fan, this is a Must See. We went during the last few days ends Jan. 3rd But, they told us they are bringing it back in March 2021. There is a Central Perk set up and you can order coffee. Staff is soooo nice and will help you take any pictures you want. We really had a great time and cant wait to go back!
As a Friends fan, this was a very nice experience. I took pictures from Monicas apartment, the famous hall, Coffee place and even from the famous PIVOT scene. BUT - the gift shop is way to pricy and some experiences are missing like showing the actual scenes from the TV show on each artifact (like Gladys or the turkey).
It’s my favourite TV show of all time, so to physically be in the building with all the props was simply amazing. I looked it up and I knew that Season 10 started airing a few months after I was born but then I found out that the last few episodes of Season 9 were airing around the time I was born. 😯
Is not a good experience at all, if youre a Friends fan probably youll be a little bit disappointed with the service they provide. To click pictures with masks on the entire time ruined the whole experience, their website says you can take your masks off during predetermined photo locations but is not true.Additional the staff were rude, and harassing, they were literally following everyone everywhere. We felt so trapped the whole time.
Great! I had a really good time. I think they should have had the duck and the birds as stuffed animals the penguin well that was cool. All in all it was fun just walking around and taking pics. The coffee was good and strong, didnt try the cheese cake. It was really good going down memory lane.
This was the Greatest thing I’ve ever done in NYC out of every trip I have Ever had!! From start to finish we were constantly in Aww!! We couldn’t get enough! They didn’t skip a beat either! Everything was there, even the stuff you forget about cause it was so minor all those years ago. But nope, it’s All There! The staff was Outstanding! Even as we approached the building and were a few minutes early the employee passing by us just turned around and with a very Friendly hello, asked if we already had tickets, and since we did he just let us right in. They had accommodations at every display to assist with bags or coats, the staff taking photos was fun and helped keep the mood very upbeat! Everything was ‘Monica clean and organized’ and they ran a very tight ship keeping everyone in order. The way they went about it was very well done! If you’re a fan or have someone in your life who is, then GO HERE!!!! You won’t regret it. I also have to say that the coffees we got in Central Perk on our way out were Amazing! Staff in there were just as friendly and personable! Even the ones in the gift shop! I can’t rave enough about this place. Just go and check it out! Best thing I could have done for my daughters 18th bday!
So no one told you life was gonna be this way? This was such an amazing day and a great experience to feel and live and experience(for a few hours) the set of such a beloved TV show. If you’re a fan of the ‘Friends TV show’ or have seen a few episodes you’d definitely want to give this a try before they close this. You will be amazed at the recreated set here. Everything was spot on with the red couch that’s shown at the intro of every episode to Monica’s living room where everyone hangs out to Chandlers and joeys apartment with theFoosball table and the cafe itself, the legendary central perk cafe!Pro tip: they DO serve coffee at this cafe with a ‘friends’ reference all over it. Do give it a tryWith all this said, let me tell you my experience and a few things that i noticed in here.I booked the tickets for this online but there was a separate line for those who didn’t have a ticket (so I’m guessing you could purchase one on the spot). The COVID precautions are in place here and you NEED to have mask on all the time. They check your temperature and make you fill out some information on their tablet and give you a ticket to check out your photos online via email (those photos that they take with their high quality cameras that you get via email are free and you get those in real time as you’re finished with the photo). They take you in for the experience in groups so about 10-12 people go in batches at a time. You can also take your solo photos using your phone cameras. The start of this experience is in a dark room with a TV that gives you a recap of what FRIENDS is all about and the characters in the show. When the video ends (and btw, the video is narrated by Janice!), the room opens up like some magical door (oh my gawwwd!) and your tour starts. The entire experience takes about 60minutes or so and at the end theres a gift shop where you could purchase shirts and mugs and all sorts of things (hugsy anyone?). There’s a lot of photo opportunity in this set and you’d thoroughly enjoy this entire experience.Experience this before they close on January 3. Welcome to the real world, it sucks. You’re gonna love it!
I didnt watch the show, so I cant say too much about this place, but (based on the little I do know about the show and what people leaving the location were saying) this is a faithful replica of the sets used on the show. It seems quite expensive but worth it for a lot of the die hard fans. It seems a really unique experience and would be a good birthday or anniversary giftReservations are needed. The line to get in is often long, so give yourself enough time to go through the exhibit at a leisurely pace.
Amazing opportunity for all of “Friends” fans. I love the show since I was a kid. And it has been an influence in my life and one of the reasons I immigrated to USA from Russia. I visited a “Friends” pop up 25th anniversary experience in nyc and absolutely loved it. But wanted to try this one as well because it featured Monica’s and Rachel’s apartment which is iconic part of the show. It was worth it and I loved that almost every room has cameras that can take pictures of u that put a logo on the side. Amazing! Overall greatly made experience, would recommend to a true fan. But NOTE that u don’t have much time to enjoy or actually really look at the details of each room, and a highly overpriced comparing to the pop up 3 years ago which was $30, half the price of the current experience ( I paid $60). Also the bathroom is halfway through the experience, not at the front in case u need to change in the big city after a long day of walking. Gift shop didn’t have that many choices of shirt with graphics, only few. HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT WAS THE UNFRIENDLY STUFF. I was attending the experience alone so I needed help with pictures, some employees were extremely rude and refused to help, as well as rushed me to leave the room after refusing to take a photo, was extremely disappointed with that since I traveled very far to be there. And I’m a huge fan of the show. MARK, one of the stuff members, was very nice and friendly and extremely helpful.
My FIANCÉ and I were so excited to come visit the Friends Experience while we were visiting NY. He knows how obsessed I am with friends! Little did I know he was planning the best surprise ever 💍😍. While in line he quickly asked the sweet lady working the front door for some help while I wasn’t paying attention. Leah Harris was the absolute best and she put everything in motion! She had everyone working involved and went above and beyond! She caught the entire moment on video which we will cherish forever. Leah, thank you so much for making this even more memorable then we could have imagined. Could we BE anymore excited! Also, the exhibit was so much fun and very well done and organized! 10/10 would recommend if you love the show!
Me and my hunnayy went here and we had the best time.. All the groups kept passing us while we took the time to read everything and actually enjoy the experience.. People were just lookin at things real quick and kept it moving.. They only worried about getting pictures for Instagram.. Where as, we got our moonies worth and actually enjoyed the entire experience.. I recommend this if your coming to NYC for a visit or even if your a local..
It was a fun time! The whole concept was great. The one thing that was a little disappointing was not being able to get the pictures we wanted. Went with my daughter and 4 friends. They all took a picture with the dog. Then my daughter wanted a solo pic and was told no because there were two ppl waiting behind her. Technically we paid for 6 people and I wasn’t in that photo so I don’t see why we couldn’t take the extra 30 seconds to get a picture. Then at the end we bought coffee. We were all waiting outside for the last of us to get their coffee. She was kicked out trying to get a picture because they were at capacity. She was there waiting buying their coffee and couldn’t take a picture?
This was so much fun!! The replica of the different sets were so on point!! It was great to be able to walk thruThe only thing is sometimes it felt a little rushed but its only because of having to be socially distanced and keeping the line moving. The staff was great about taking pictures and being helpful. I would definitely do it again!!
Its a fun experience and recommended for fans of Friends. Its really cool to be able to explore the set recreations. In my opinion, the experience is overpriced though, especially if you go in the evening or on a weekend ($65 per person). The exhibit is mostly self-guided with several stops for where the staff will take pictures for you and email you copies (included in the price). I felt that the exhibit itself lacked depth though. Seeing the props, costumes, and sets was really cool, but more informational signage that goes into the making of the show behind the scenes throughout the exhibition (rather than just in the first room) would have been nice. I think a semi-guided experience, with the guide explaining the history and behind the scenes information, would have made this experience a better value.
Worst experience ever at Friends NYC! First, taking pictures with masks on the Entire time ruined the whole experience. Their website says you can take your masks off during predetermined photo locations. That’s a lie. Don’t waste your money unless u want the mask on for the whole event even with proof of vaccinations. Staffs were biased, rude, and harassing. Friends exp were more like an UNfriendly experience.
Cannot recommend. No photos were allowed without masks, this is ridiculous, 1 life time experience, coming from Europe and all pics in a mask! And there was no state law on this. If I knew this, I would not go. Inspite if such strict control I left my wallet there and the CASH WAS STOLEN and they could not provide any info on this, having cameras everywhere so many workers there! Dissapointed.
I went during the Christmas time and I have to say, they were really unprofessional in how they were handling the customers as well as their feedback. In the middle of the tour an employee asked me and my wife if we can tighten our masks as the covid outbreak is pretty bad while his own masked was ripped. They wouldnt even allow for masks to be taken off for pictures. Seemed like a lack of a system but they wanted to continue making money so they didnt shut down the operation. At the end of it, I believe the manager asked me how did you find everything today?, so I went on to explain to him about my encounter with the employee mentioned before but he CUT ME OFF without letting me finish and says I cant do anything about that or the fact the you dont care about peoples health and walked off. Really unpleasant experience and wouldnt recommend to anyone. Please wait after the pandemic is completely over and until they hire folks with more professionalism until you visit. Or go to the one in California.
The manager was extremely rude at this side. I had a mask on the entire time but it was 1mm below the tip of my nose and I was escorted out like a criminal. I was not able to even purchase a coffee or gift at the end of the show. If you come here be prepared to be treated rudely and to not be shown any respect. Unbelievable way to ruin my experience.
Crazy fun you get to see so much from the show but please understand this is literally just photo ops after photo ops. You line up for photos in front of props or rooms one after the other so take your time, look at the walls, and pause when needed because you can’t go back
Firstly, it was for 54 dollars which then I had high expectations for the place however, it was the opposite. THE STAFF WAS SOOOO RUDE! I was fixing my hair so my mask went off and a worker told me it’s my first and last time to ask you to put your mask? Is he my teacher or what?? While taking pictures, they just wanna get done with you. 20 minutes were the max time you could stay there and it was basic, even the coffee wasn’t given for free nor nothing. Like when we took the coffee, the women told us, disrespectfully, drink the drink outside, LOUDLY LIKE ??? And also, maybe because we look middle eastern, they kept scanning us as if we were gonna bomb the place what the hell?
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. You pay $50 / person and can’t even take your mask down for 2 seconds for a picture. The staff are rude and don’t interact with you at all. If you ask a question, they either act clueless or look at you like you’re stupid. If you’re going to do the experience, do it anywhere but New York!!!
Don’t go there. It’s a trap and the price is a rip off especially in these times. The most ridiculous thing is that they won’t let you take off your mask while clicking the pictures.I know it’s covid and all but we are willing to wear masks and show vaxx certs but not letting us taking the mask off only for a few seconds just to take a picture is way beyond harassment and that too w/o no social distancing maintained.I was somehow able to take a picture w/o a mask and their official photobombed my picture intentionally just to make sure that I won’t get a picture w/o mask. One guy even threatened me to not take off my mask again when he saw me doing that while taking a selfie.Worst customer service and worst management.
This was the most fun I have had in a long time! Everyone was so nice and willing to take a picture for you. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was seeing the NYC experience had the entire apartments for photo ops instead of just the kitchen for Monica and Rachels apartment and the living room for Joey and Chandler. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who loves Friends!
I am a native New Yorker and my family was visiting from out of town. It was the ABSOLUTE best experience they’ve had in NYC so far. Our trio of avid FRIENDS fanatics were treated so kindly by the staff - especially Tanya, Mo, Abby, Julietta, Olivia, Joanie, Bri, Mary, Olu, Clara, & Ian. Big shout out to Rob, Eileen, and Marco, and Malachi at security for making us feel so safe and welcomed during these wild and crazy times — even when our trio got a bit overexcited. Could not recommend this more for folks who love the show, just started, or are lifelong lovers like myself! Thank you so much FRIENDS EXPERIENCE TEAM!
This was worth every dollar! I went to this experience with three of my closest friends for one of their birthdays. The birthday woman enjoyed every minute of it, all the exhibits, and was genuinely taken back at the wonderful service and hospitality. It was a delightful experience for a super fan and non-super fans alike. Not to mention, they will make sure you feel special if its your birthday by giving you the Rachel 30th birthday banner surprise and more! Shout out to Tanya at the Friends Experience NYC for adding a touch of magic to our experience! Your kindness was greatly appreciated. I would go back again. This is an NYC must!
The One with the BEST Experience! I am a big fan of Friends, I have no words to express my excitement. The set is amazing, I definitely would like to go back :DMy whole family would like to thank the whole team working on 11/21 at 5pm. Kudos to everyone working on that shift. Starting with the amazing lady at the front door to the ones who served the coffee at the end. We had a personal situation and they were soooo patience, nice and they were able to understand and let us enjoy the experience. THANK YOU for letting us enjoy the moment. I hope the supervisors see this post. Employees are well trained, respectful and friendly. Thank you!
Very disappointed. Visiting the city from Flint Michigan and my wife being a huge friends fan was very disappointed to find out you needed to be fully vaccinated to be able to go through the exhibit. No where does it say. ( or its not made to be very noticeable if it is on website) that you have to have your 2nd shot to go through and to top it all off the tickets are non refundable and we are leaving early in the morning. So I guess we are out $107!!!! Not cool.
I was only in the city for a short time and saw this place walking by. i went into the shop & asked Sheshe about it. She was really good with my kids and helped them choose an item each. She gave me so much info I came back with my sister, who is a fan. We had a great time & Sheshe was there again to my surprise in the shop and remembered me! She helped my sister do much damage in the shop...LOL and she is still excited and talking about it. It was a great experience even without being a fan of the show, watching my sister enjoy it and explain. I truly felt like a friend at FRIENDS! Thanks Sheshe for a fun, friendly NYC experience.
Plenty to see, lots of memorabilia and you never feel rushed. They take pictures at each location for you and send them to your email for free. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend it to any Friends fans. We went through pretty quick and still managed to spend an hour in the tour. Theres also hand sanitizer available everywhere during the tour. Great experience!
Friends experience is worth a visit. But since aug 2021 they hv been following ‘mask on experience’ rule where you have to wear masks the entire time you are at the venue. I completely agree with the management for having set the rule bcz its covid but Its really annoying when they dont allow you to take the mask off for your clicks. Whats the fun when you cant capture memories of your visit to friends experience
The Friends Experience really was a wonderful experience! Overall, I feel they did a great job with replicating the sets. In addition, there were many props that were authentic, real items from the show. The whole thing is a photo op from beginning to end and will have you and your friends giggling and constantly saying ‘do you remember the episode when…?’ However, my one and only complaint was the fact that the location in Dallas had absolutely no signage about how to find it! There were no signs or notices in the mall pointing toward the actual location and the website doesn’t specify either. We were quite late arriving because we couldn’t find it. Luckily they were kind upon our arrival and had been waiting for us. Go and enjoy this experience!
Got to the experience early, First Lady was rather helpful, got to the desk where we were greeted by a miserable looking guy who, after we showed our vaccination card, then asked 3 times to see my vaccination card, as if he had forgotten that we showed him. Fuming is an understatement , really has ruined my experience of what I thought was going to be a good day!
I loved the experience and everything in it... Just have a complain... I asked the girl outside whats the difference between the 3 prices they have online.. and she didnt know ... I decided to buy the one on the middle.. but I never noticed the difference. Anyways is cheaper if you buy the tickets online
Nostalgic. If you are a fan of the show and you love the gang this is definitely the place to go.I tell you when I walked in to what looks like the girls apartment. I was taken with the whole why did they ever stop this show.I was waiting for the cast to jump out at us.It so fun so real. We enjoyed it very much. The only bad thing is, its short not long enough just like the show. But againHighly recommended 👌
They literally charged my sleeping 5 years old daughter!!! They saw my daughter was asleep in a stroller and they still charged us $65 for a ticket for her! Are you kidding me!? She was asleep through the whole experience(even if she would awake in the middle of the Experience, my 5 years old not the biggest fan as you can imagine). To be honest it was hard to have fun after that. From what I understand they asked a manager about it, the manager still said to charge. If they didn’t ask a manager still not ok, still reflects horribly on a manager. Also, I asked in the middle of the Experience if I can charge my phone for 5 min, my phone died completely and I really wanted to take a few more pictures. The lady called a manager, and told me that the manager said “no”. From what I understood the manager is absolutely awful!!! I give one star to some of the staff in the middle of the Experience, some of them was nice, but definitely not the ones at the entrance. At the entrance they all looked like we came to the wrong place at the wrong time, and we paid $260 plus tax, so it would be nice to feel welcome:) The security lady was a joke, she tried to look serious and smart..she checked my bag but didn’t even thought to look at the stroller, I could have hide millions of bags there with millions of stuff:))) We actually had millions of different bags there. I was smiling all the way of the process of “security check”, because it was none. Also, she was super rude in addition to being useless. They better don’t pay this kind of “security” and very rude staff at the entrance so they won’t have to charge my sleeping 5 years old and will have a chance to share some electricity:)!!!
Booked for the last slot of the night at 9 P.M. and was definitely rushed through even though one of the employees said there were going to be there until midnight for a private even. The merchandise store closed before we were down, and we werent even the last of the people to leave in the 9 P.M. group. The experience itself was totally worth it, I enjoyed every second of it.
A great experience! No regrets about paid the ticket, the place is amazing and you really feel like inside the serie. The thing I really HATE was having a security guard following us all the time, not a single minute without his sight on us. I was the real bad part of the experience.
The whole experience is too focused on taking pictures. Most rooms you go into, take photo, and rushed off to the next room. A couple of the rooms had actual props from the show but because people behind you had to take their pictures you couldn’t stay to look at everything…
We were a very large and rowdy group of 12 and they handled us so well. Leah was outside keeping us entertained while waiting in line in the heat, she made sure we were lined up in pictures, making suggestions, etc. The entire team today did not rush us at all and with our group its like herding cats. We werent sure what to expect but had an amazing time and it was all because of the great crew That is working there! The memorbillea was really cool and laid out so well but the employees really added to the experience. Definitely worth the time and a must see in NY!
Absolutely loved the place. They have a really good showcase of original props and costumes. I can definitely spend some more time there. The staff is super friendly and helpful they take good pictures. You should go in a group of 3 definitely. They have good photo ops like a make of the PIVOT scene which is really funny and nice. If you are a friends fan then this place is a must!
It felt underwhelming overall, I did get all the jokes but it was a bit smallish for the wait we had (we got in 20 minutes late even having tickets for specific dates and times). Also, the entrance doesnt include the Cup of Coffee which they say is a common error from people. If its common Im unsure why they dont make it clearer when you buy it.
The worst place we went to on our vacation in New York. the staff are so unfriendly, rude, incompetent ... all! especially Ramon. the most unfriendly and unpleasant staff that I have encountered in my life !!! what incompetence !!!! ... I advise tputes leq people to go there. I have already given my opinion on tripadvisor.
Amazing experience! You step into the show and do things the Friends all did. You can take your own photos and there are places where the cast members take photos for you. I enjoyed it and my daughter is a super Friends fan, she really enjoyed it! Its a must for all Friends fanatics!
So much fun! Everyone was super friendly. I think its great that the staff takes your picture in certain areas or highlights of certain episodes and sends you a link at the end for you to view them for free! Our pictures came out awesome! We were all happy with our experience.
If i could give 0 stars - then also i would opt to give negative stars. Its a horrible place with rude staff and just average experience. You wont be magically transported in the friends world. Its like a museum. Just walk in lines and see but dont touch. Mask policy is the biggest joke. Touch everything you like with your masks down in designated ipad photo area but step one inch out of there- you cant pull down your masks even if there is nobody beside you. Same with photo taking- if you want to take a phone camera photo safely and keeping safe distance with others., its a no no. But screw social distancing in queing up for photos they take for you. The staff just cares about moving people around. One of them even said to our group that I DONT CARE ABOUT. YOUR EXPERIENCE JUST PULL YOUR MASKS UP AND KEEP MOVING. They make you feel like you should consider yourself lucky to even go there. Like they are serving gold nuggets or something. To top it- they even stole my umbrella which i forgot by mistake at the check-in counter. Waste of time and money. Dont go here. Much better things to do in flatiron district. These guys thieving us with high ticket price just to get harrassment
We had a great time. From the quotes outside the building to Central Perk at the end, it was a blast. Walking back through Friends time was nostalgic, lighthearted, and joyful. The photo opportunities were great! The staff was amazing! The latte was delicious! And it really was Monica clean. Kudos all around!

2022-02-20Everything was so amazing and well-organized. I personally enjoyed sitting in Monica’s couch and finally seeing her kitchen in real life. I really had a fun experience visiting Central Perk. After enjoying the full experience and taking hundreds of photos, I bought a $6 latte from the coffee where it also had Phoebes “Nestle Toulouse” cookies on the menu. 😂♥️You definitely need to visit this place if you’re a Friends fan. 🛋

2022-03-13Very much enjoyed our time here! If you are a Friends lover as much as we are, this is the place for you. It was great seeing the different scenes from the show and taking pictures in the different sets. The one bummer is that the cafe was closed. As well, they ask you if you want to buy photos at the end. Don’t do it! You will be sent the photos you take in your email, so don’t waste your money.

2022-02-11Heres a REAL review without rose colored glasses. Yes I am absolutely a fan of this TV series. I watched it when it was originally on air and had to wait in real time for the amazing cliff hangers. So my rating isnt about the show or its memorabilia that brings a smile to your face. Thats 5 stars! However this experience needs to be more clear and mindful of guests traveling here. First you buy a timed entry where they ask you to be 10 minutes early. All well and good until you drive from Philly park at a meter and stand 40 minutes in a line outside in 17 degree weather. We were not even halfway through the exhibit when we had to pay the meter again on the app. I believed the metered parking would have been fine since the 2 hour limit seemed like enough time to get through the exhibit which actually takes about an hour max.FINALLY, we are allowed in. Just hold your ID and Vax cards/pictures in your hand youll be showing them several times before you do anything fun. Theres a coat check thats a small fortune. The exhibit opens up and exciting. But that quickly is overshadowed when you realize that your not allowed to take your mask off for even the official photos. Paid nearly $60 per person just to see us sitting on the famous couch in a mask. Now Im not against masks at all but for the price you pay I think it should be acceptable to have at least ONE photo where we can see our enthusiasm to be there. Especially since everything is physically distanced. Also some of the camera spots for the professional photos are weird. The wedding Chaple is crooked and watch out for the Piviot scene as the posts can Block faces. The cafe prices are okay but just rush through the gift shop. Seriously $60 for Joeys penguin and $45 for a tie dye FRIENDS t-shirt. Ive seen them else where for half the price. I really loved seeing all the stuff, it was truly like walking into your TV set. So as a fan I really loved feeling apart of it. It just sucks how over priced it is to enjoy it.

2022-01-08My friend and I had the best experience! The tickets are a little pricey but worth it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They follow cdc guidelines so there weren’t too many people and we got to take our time going through each set. They also take professional quality pictures of you on the sets and send them to you at no extra charge. Loved the nostalgia and overall experience. I highly recommend it!

2022-04-04It was a very cool visit but I’m not sure it’s worth the price. The price includes some pictures that they take of you inside, these were supposed to be emailed to you but I never got them. It sucks because I got in contact with their support email and they never answered. It’s cool tho, just make sure to go not expecting to get any pictures on your email. lol

2021-11-19Amazing place for Friends fans. You can visit the set and take pictures while sitting on the famous Central Perk sofa. The staff is very friendly and the pictures taken on the set are sent to your email free of charge. Not too crowded and entry price is pretty fare. The gift shop is very expensive, but most friends lovers will have to buy something.Recommended......

2022-01-25Pricey but could have been worth it if they allowed us to remove our masks for the official photos. I mean If we’re paying that much, we want our whole faces plastered on those souvenirs. So if you’re like us, wait until this pandemic is over. Plus it took 30 minutes before we got in. Not good during winter. The time slots you book is for grouping. They let you enter by groups.

2022-06-19Our family went to The Friends experience for our daughters birthday. I have to say it was much better than I expected. Were all fans, so there were lots of laughs as we recounted some of the episodes that we are all familiar with. Each set is exactly like the sets from the series. The staff takes photos in several spaces and they are emailed to you. They even took a photo of my daughter with a happy birthday board. Its a bit pricey, but if youre a Friends fan, then this is the place for you.

2021-10-22I absolutely loved this experience. I was such a huge fan of this show when it first aired back in the 1990s. The staff here is totally awesome. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. When you walk in you sign up to get a ticket with a code so when the staff member takes your photo it will go directly to your email to download. The exhibits are clean and well maintained. They have multiple hand sanitizing stations throughout the experience. Once you reach the end of the event, you end up at Central Perk which actually has pretty good coffee. They also have a really nice souvenir shop as well. If you are a avid fan of the series then I highly recommend checking it out. 👍
