Great to work with, and all the equipment I needed they had in stock, I broke my leg in 3 places and needed a wheel chair (actually 2 one for upstairs and one for down) a knee walker, a knee brace, lovely to be able to shop locally and not depend on amazon for delivery

Staff not helpful with customers, only interested in making money; very poor customer service. I bought an orthopedic boot, when I called for service, I was told to “YouTube it” - I will never use them and report it to my foot doctor.
Janine and Lisa were so nice. I had only questions at first, they answered everything, and then helped to make it so much easier. Was very appreciated!
I bought a reacher recently. It did not work as it should. I attempted to return it several days later. They refused to offer refund. BOOOO!

I broke one ankle and sprained the other ankle a couple of days ago. Instead of Amazon, I try to shop at small businesses in my neighborhood. I visited The Healthcare Store, where I purchased several items, paid in cash and didnt receive a receipt. I called today to ask about returning an item that just doesnt fit in my bathtub. The person who answered the phone was absolutely abhorrent. She didnt even inquire as to what the item is, told me they take no returns, that its my problem, should have read my receipt, and when I told her that I wasnt given one she stated and what do you want me to do. Her tone and attitude were very rude and she hang up. When I called back I got the answering machine. The issue of course isnt their return policy, which is understandable, but the unacceptable behavior! Shame on them! Wish I could give minus stars.

2022-04-01I visited The HealthCare Store today for the first time and was greeted at the door with a friendly smile. I purchased several items. I love the customer service. The person helping me in the store was Janine. She went the extra mile explaining the products and making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. She also helped me bring items to my car. This store had everything I needed to buy. I am very pleased with my products and the customer service I received.

2021-11-17Lisa and Staff at THS did a great job on our requirements and I would work with them anytime and recommend them to anyone.After our initial delay getting an Rx from our MD for a Medicaire-funded bed for our mom, it was refreshing to not have to make any follow-up calls or field additional questions on the need for and delivery of the bed. It was even more refreshing to simply receive a voicemail a few days later asking if THS could deliver the bed the next day! Great service and follow-through, our family really appreciates it.

2021-10-13Delivery of a power lift chair only included quick instructions on how to use the controller. The delivery was to my parents house, specifically for my 89 year old father who has a brain tumor. My mother, age 90, was there, too. Unfortunately a quick how to review of what each button is for isnt enough. Folks that age dont retain everything said to them, and wish they had a manual for reference. My suggestion is for the person delivering to take just a couple extra minutes to be patient and go over things slowly, and let one of them demonstrate how it works. This especially applies to the elderly. Called the store to advise; was told my comments would be passed along to the Delivery Team. As no apology was given whatsoever, i can only HOPE someone is a bit more conscientious in the future.

2020-10-15I highly recommend the HealthCare Store in Bay Shore NY. I needed help getting a wheelchair last minute for my brother. Both Janine and Lisa were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to rent a companion chair from them for a very affordable rate.

2019-04-05Janine was very professional and knowledgeable with answering all my questions regarding the purchase of a Rollator Walker to replace the one I currently have. She was also very helpful during my initial visit a few weeks ago to purchase special bandages for my nephew, who had recent surgery and was in need of a specific type of gauze. I would purchase from this store again if the need ever arises.
