The Home Depot in other cities:
Sometimes you have to check multiple aisles for the same type of item under multiple categories to find what you are looking for. Like bathroom caulk. Tiles, paint, and grout aisles all have slightly different caulk products. Different stores also have different specialty caulk.
Waiting on same-day delivery from store 4 days and counting. Store keeps giving me run around when I call… from “some items have not been ticked/picked up by store worker from isles” to “you’ll get it today”, which still hasn’t been delivered. Very irresponsible workers and they do not care.
Ordered an item online that said it’d be ready in 1-2 hours…. Still wasn’t ready the following day. Called “customer service” and got the rudest most unhelpful girl on the line who offered no solution AND wanted to argue the wait “wasn’t that long” when told it was going on 24 hours. Also, when offered to just go to the store myself and pick the item up was told “I can’t tell you to do that” and was hung up on.
This location on the northside is one busy place. It operates like the floor of the stock market. Its so well supplied, the material is taking up space in the parking lot. This is one of those get in early in the morning to be the crowd location. So pack your patients.
I ordered containers on the Home Depot website to be delivered on Friday morning March 25th. The delivery driver (Roadie) arrived at the Hamilton store and no one was available to help load the truck. I called customer care and they couldnt get in touch with anyone at the store. I called the Hamilton Ave store myself and no one ever answers the phone. I cant even get a refund. Im going to have to go to multiple Home Depots to find the containers and Uber them to my apartment. This ruined my move completely. Just close this location down and stop scamming people. Waste of time and money.
We just moved to a new apartment with outdoor space and were in search of a bbq. We happened to be in this Home Depot when we noticed that the Weber Genesis II bbq grill was incredibly well priced ($). Turns out this was actually a mislabel of the price on the product but the manager we dealt with was great; we ended up purchasing a bbq at this location because of her wonderful customer service.
Sophia is the Absolute Epitone of what you do NOT call a supervisor. She is extremely rude, unprofessional and obviously hates what she does for a living. I have been coming to Home Depot for many years and source most of my work materials. She is the reason why I am not to returning to this location. So disgusted with her treatment to customers.
Nice place but it’s always crowded and not enough customer service and cashiers the customer service is horrible!!!!! Just a few nice people everyone else is lazy it took me about two hours for them to get me wood that was on the top shelves and they needed to take it down it’s in a good spot and there prices
I needed steering fluid for my car. I checked Home Depots website and the product was available and it was showing 22 available at this store. I drove there [which is a 20 minutes drive from my home] to pick the item but the shelf was empty. I inquired with one of the staff. He was not helpful at all. He just said that if it wasnt there it wasnt there. I mentioned that their site was showing 22 in stock and if someone can check at the back. He said it could be checked but he didnt attempt to help or call anyone else. I than spoke with a lady, she tried to help and used the pa system to request help for me. I waited and waited for 20 minutes but no one showed up, I inquired once more , they announced it again and the same result, no one showed up. So I lost 30 minutes looking for help there. So I left the store and go to Lowes to get the item, which had the item in stock as they stated on their website.
Delivered an entirely wrong order and when trying to contact them, no one at the store is picking up the phone. They dont even pick up the phone when their own company from the main support hotline is calling. Only way for me to get my money back was to dispute the credit card charge!
This is a very busy home depot, its best to park on the roof to avoid the congestion in the lower parking lot, I went there to purchase a new washer and dryer unit for my apartment and the associate in the appliance department is a wealth of knowledge. thanks for making this a seamless process.
This home depot is okay . Never try to park at bottom level its disastrous. Youre better off going up the ramp and park at second level . Way less of a hassle . I found a really nice calladium it was the last one . But why does it look like most their plants are dying ? I dont like that . They need to take better care . I wanted one of those big Palm plants but theyre like dying and cut in half At the leaves .
Parking lot dirtier than any other HD i been to. Very busy with almost no customer service. Very unorganized sections. Items showing in their inventory online or on their own system are usually not there. Why? It is 21st century, please save your customers some time as time is $ and to some of us more than $.
One of the staff overheard me ask my husband if he knew where the refrigerators were and helped us without out asking. This impressed me and started things on a positive note. Then there was a helpful person named Therese who took care of us from start to finish in purchasing 3 refrigerators, one for us and 2 for my tenants. She was knowledgeable and highly courteous. I am so pleased and highly recommend Home Depot.
What an unexpected contrast from the neighboring Lowes. This store location is less pedestrian friendly being situated adjacent to a busy roadway below the elevated highway. The store itself is somewhat dark, and many of the aisles are partially obstructed by tools and/or products waiting to be re-shelfed; things feel untidy and messy. Having said that, the staff member in the section I was browsing in actively came to assist and answer questions I had about what I was looking for.
Dont place an online order for pickup here. I placed an order 2 days ago which was supposed to be same-day pickup in store (Id like to avoid contact due to COVID). I heard no news for 2 days, and today theyve cancelled my order entirely because one item became out of stock. In that time I shouldve just said forget it and shopped in person or gone to Lowes!
Customer service when it comes to their phone gets -5. Youll sit on hold forever, maybe hear someone say please hold after 20 min, but never be helped. Experienced this multiple times. If you have a question or are wondering if your pickup order you placed 8 hours ago is ready, youll have to just go to the store.Store itself is fine, usually good stock and nice people.
This Home Depot it’s worst they don’t catch real thief I was walking to door going to garden sight it’s was my bad too didn’t ask anyone they thought I’m stealing even I give them my card and ID for pay for stuff they call cops on me manager need to give those guy training how to work
Today the man in the appliance section loudly yelled at me as I was getting a microwave off the shelf. He asked if I needed help, I said I did and yet he did not approach to assist. He continued to converse with another customer and condescendingly asked why I wanted the microwave box from the back (it was the only undamaged one). Some gabbing was done within earshot that made me feel silly. I left the section and sought assistance from another associate Ron and he was surprised that there was no one in the appliance section who had provided any service. He proceeded to get me a ladder and get me what I wanted. Just goes to show some people shouldn’t be in customer service. Ron was great because I was going to abandon my cart and leave with nothing after receiving no service from the short, rude associate in the appliance section. Perhaps this individual needs to be retrained.
The employee in the power tools section was unhelpful. When I arrived he was chit chatting with another co-worker. When I asked for help I got an attitude and the least amount of help possible. I ended up finding a solution to my questions myself. The employee stated they didnt have what I was looking for, but I was able to find what I needed in his section.
I generally like Home Depot for the variety of things you may need for renovations, construction or building something from the scratch. But if you are just a regular shopper, shopping for something for the first time, make sure to verify the price of the item you chose, by having an employee scan it for you, even if you picked it up among rows of exactly same items that have the sticker displaying the price. At the register price ended up being 2x as much as we thought it would be, because all the items were misplaced and not coordinated with the price tags under them... Other than that, all great
I just spent 20 minutes in this hellish store and am now on the verge of a breakdown. I felt as if I was in a bad dream. My boyfriend and I were attempting to purchase a cordless drill. I approached an employee who was stocking a shelf to ask for help and was flat-out ignored. We approached a second employee who said they would send someone to help us; no one came after 10 minutes of waiting. Meanwhile there was a loud, incessant beeping in the drill aisle that made it impossible to talk or to think. We ended up just grabbing a tool and hoping it was the right one for us since we got no employee help, and then getting out of there ASAP. I have a headache now. The one saving grace was an adorable cat (pictured) inexplicably sleeping on top of the toilet paper.
I placed an online order I needed it next day . I paid for delivery more than the items were worth . It was delivered to the wrong address that person kept the order. I called the store many times and nothing was done. I had to dispute order with my bank for a refund. I will never order online again. I was not aware that if ordering online and asking for next day it comes from one of the stores. Worst experience ever
Incompetent staff. Called this site to check on the availability of a flooring product. Online showed in stock, phone staff said it was unavailable. Came to pick up a rental right after and found the flooring was indeed available. Waiting over an hour to get vinyl flooring cut and was skipped in the queue to get my flooring cut. Constant jamming on vinyl cutter. Just got to Lowe’s
I usually find what I am looking for when I come here. I havent had the best experience when I order something to be delivered here. This one particular item arrived 3 times broken. There was never a solution on fixing it. If something is either arriving broken or is breaking upon unloading then why not figure it out.
Went to purchase a washer/dryer seen on internet. Since the space is small I wanted additional assistance. Solo Salesperson was busy w another buyer but managed to give me some assistance. I waited 2nd Salesperson wasnt able to assist. Waited for # 1. I selected shades came back #1 assisted other buyer. When the talk between them became personal I left.
Item delivered opened. Driver said they told him it had to be open. When I called to ask why…I got the nastiest attitude. Item had scratches. Then I was told I had to bring it back. If I had to get it delivered what makes them think I could bring to them. Poor handling and customer service
Great selection and price. Staff needs to help customer in a friendlier manners. Made a trip to get everything I needed for a project but couldnt find some of the items. The site shows available in that location but nothing there. Next visit will do an order to pick up and save some time finding the items.
I just called fo a 4inch check valve no hub cast iron the lady that answered the phone was to lazy to type in the info to see if they had the part which I have called for parts like this many of times before she told me she needed a sku number or she couldn’t help me then hung up great customer service I’ll be dealing with Lowe’s from now on
One of the best home depots Ive been to. I love this neighborhood. The workers are always so helpful. I had to buy gardening supplies and the employee was so helpful and went the extra mile answered all my questions and was very patient considering my lack of knowledge of gardening..
Bought a “new” Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum for $400. Came home and not only was it very used (hair and animal hair still wrapped in the vacuum head!) and broken, it was an old model — the V7! Someone returned their old and gross used Dyson for a brand new one and the return desk didn’t event think to open the box and inspect? How many other things are returned to this store and never inspected and therefore USED when the next customer believes they’re getting something NEW. This should have been disclosed as “Open Box” item. I’ve been trying to call and no one is answering.
I purchased a refrigerator on 9/9/21 refrigerator never came today is 9/16/21 delivery date was 9/11/21 I called he store everyday they were very rude, I dont have a refrigerator since 9/11/21, it doesnt look like i will ever get one from them DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT IN HAMILTON AVE IN BROOKLYN THE WORST..... THEY DONT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR
The store has a great selection of products, but their staff is really really bad. Of the three times Ive been there, once I got yelled at by an employee, and another time a person said I dont work here when asked for help, despite their name tag and Home Depo swag :) !Prepare for some stress if you dont know exactly what youre looking for or where to find it. Staff at the Manhattan store are much more helpful.
More or less youre typical Home Depot. There was one thing outstanding though. A young lady named Therese who processed my checkout. She was very accommodating and very helpful. As well as the ASM named Penny. Accessible by car. Located under the Gowanus Expressway in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn.
Great selection at good prices. Poor customer service. Web site stated the store had plenty of an item I needed in stock. Found nothing on the shelves. No one would help me. I then saw boxes of the item on a high storage shelf. Took another 15 minutes to get someone to bring them down off the storage shelf.
Place is huge and got almost everything. Some stuff sometimes not available but the home depot staff very helpful. One time I cant find the item I need but she actually very to find one. She even look around for me. Another time they actually work together to get what I need, thanks guys!
Definitely a crowded place, but in the city... you at least have access to what you need. HOWEVER, the online inventory of items are consistently inaccurate, which makes it very frustrating when going to the store looking for quantities of certain items to complete a project.
Love this store which I have visited many times recently as I repair 2 apartments for rent. Employee in paint dept deals well with a line. Also they had a shelving piece that was returned by a customer but I really wanted cause the size was perfect and the employee found the sku number for the discontinued item so I could buy it.
They really need to take a look at their employees and how much they’re stealing out of this place. I bought a drill, and when I brought it to my construction site and opened up the package there was a Reciprocating saw in the package. When I got there to return the item, the Spanish guy that works in tools acted like I stole the saw. Buddy, you’re the one who works at Home Depot as a felon, not me.
Dont order anything from this place. There was a missing item and a wrong item in my delivery. Called the store, now five times. Was placed on hold for 1.5+ hours at minimum and all of my calls eventually got abandoned. I dont fault the staff because they sounded generally nice, but the management must be god awful. You guys need more staff or somebody dedicated to attending phone-in customers only. Either that, or dont have anything order-able from online because you clearly dont have the capacity to do the job properly. Also their software sucks cuz they couldnt even create a refund of my order.
Ordered tile online for pickup. When I arrived after traveling forty minutes to get there- one box of tile was the wrong color, the other two boxes were open and taped together haphazardly with multiple pieces of tile broken inside. They were able to refund the order but it was a very frustrating waste of time. Very unorganized and chaotic in the store - will not be returning
I come here mostly to buy plywood.Wish that section was labeled correctly.I used to get discounts on the damaged plywood. They dont do that anymore 🤔It seems to much work so they toss it.It sucks to support a big box store when they cant look out for the mom & pop stores.Best RegardsBrooklyns Chuchero WorldVIP AUTO NYC
Prices not clearly marked for plants or items in gardening department. In several instances, prices charged (scanned) were higher than shelf label price. One item was almost twice the price. Difficult to deal with when you are senior and just want to get your items and leave. We dud not realize until we got home. Disappointing.
Awful store! The staff were okay but some of them were not masked right! Will not go back during covid! In the restroom, a staff member hung out in there and had his mask down and had a conversation with a customer and I was not comfortable! I felt harassed in there and uncomfortable! I hope these staff do the right things!! I will not go back during covid like I said!!
Excellent customer service. Home Depot, at the Fort Hamilton location has regained my respect. Several years ago I had stopped going there because of bad customer service experiences. BUT... I must say they have impressed me lately. There is always someone available to help. Customer service department gives amazing help, and the register personnel, like Junior, is very professional. There is a father and daughter from Honduras and they are awesome helping in whatever you need. Im extremely impressed with the turn around of this Home Depot.
Worst experience ever. Cannot believe Home Depot to cancel my order when I paid extra $$ to ask for a specific day and time for delivery. No phone calls, text or email was sent to me when the order was cancelled and moved to next week where no one is at home to take it. Took more than 30 minutes trying to complain to them and cancelling my order. Keeps transferring to different reps. Bad experience of refunding money, no refund order status, just the same receipt of your order.
I cant complain much about this place except that it is probably the lighting. This place always seems to be dark or maybe the home Depot orange. Also the fact no one here knows where stuffs are.I spend a lot of time here when gut renovating my place. Parking lot is dangerous with lack of lighting and very very run down. I never park upstairs but I probably should. Over the year however I did see some changes and upgrade. The garden sections is wonderful but not a good comparing with other home Depot. Its smaller.Comparing with Lowes a few blocks away, I will say home Depot has more selections and products. Lowes has a better parking lot and brighter inside. If given the choice, I would go to Lowes first then home Depot because i usually end up depressed being here.
What can I say more, home depot is home depot. I and everyone already know that coming to that store is because they have a lot of good stuff but the service sucks. Not only the workers dont help, they also look at you like why are you here to bother me. Also, material you should be very careful. Some items are very cheap but they need to make money so they charge you triple on the smaller stuff
It is very quiet in the evening time 6:30 and on. Not too many people in there and it is very spacious large selection of tools and accessories. Customer service is excellent very friendly and helpful. They even have self checkout. Nice place to shop and prices are reasonable. I would go there again.
Such a great store to browse around. Alot of options. U have to really be into home, interior Decorating/gardening and handyman work to enjoy the store and get the full extent of what the store offers. Way better than Lowes. 👍👏 and way more options and selection. I can get lost in the home depot...thing is...I wouldnt want to be found. 😂 great experience and found everything I was looking for. I purchased a lawn standing LED white light for now,but best believe me when my pockets are more deeper,I will return for some unfinished business.
Pretty good location but I cannot stand kids riding scooters in the store! Playing with stuff & throwing things around & parents dont care & embrace them wjat is seems like! Always seems like its the mex doing it, poor workers seem like they cant even tell them anything because than they throw a fit, bottom line I was there yesterday and couldnt believe what I seen as if its a play store
If you have a plumbing problem you need go to mr. MARK. Magnificent he is indeed, his customer service abilities, his knowledge of plumbing and his friendly smile brings GREAT worth to the home depot on Hamilton. Me being a do it yourself guy I watch youtube and ask Mark for all my plumbing needs at home. I had 2 separate problems with leaky pipes in my old Brooklyn home and he assisted me by walking through the process of fixing my problem. I wish EVERY home depot hand a man of his stellar and professional manner.
All these big box stores have similar issues, and this one is no different. That said, in my experience everyone who works there has been helpful and pleasant, theyve got everything you need for basic home repair and necessities and the prices are reasonable for most items. I just wish theyd take better care of their live plants. Its like a graveyard of wilting, thirsty sadness, and I often have to avert my eyes as I walk by.
Rental department...no so good...rented a sewer snake with a broken cable..they made out like it was my fault...then switched to passive aggressive....manager disappeared and had me stand around until finally they refunded my rental fee. Go elsewhere...it couldnt be worse.
I recently purchased a washing machine from this HD which did not arrive on time because the Sales Rep sold me a machine that was in Backorder and did not inform me about it. On the day of the suppose “delivery” was when I realized I would not be receiving my machine. I went to HD to speak to my sales rep and it was more than obvious that he did not care for my issue and sent me away by giving me the number to the storage facility. I went to service to speak to a higher up (I wish I remembered their names) who can help me with this matter and in doing so the mangers demonstrated how much compassion and consideration they had for my shopping experience; this was a mother and daughter 1st time purchasing an expensive item for our home. And for the inconvenience of my machine being out of stock I was able to get the next upgrade and we are extremely happy with the way the mangers handles this situation. I will be going back to buy home appliances.
Lousy. Prior to going to the store I spent over an hour on Home Depot website in search for products and info for planting flowers and vegetables. On the website they clearly state that if one has any questions or needs more assistance to come into the store and a worker will assist... So today I drove 25 minutes to Home Depot, only to spend over 1.5 hours going in circles as there is no one to talk to or assist a customer... Every time I asked a worker he told me someone would be with me momentarily but that never happened!!If you every need assistance or guidance DO NOT go to Home Depot on Hamilton Ave in Brooklyn!!I spent tons of money on items which I really hope will be the correct items for my needs... Otherwise Ill need to go back and return....
Each and every time we go there the customer service gets worse and worse. The employees do their best to ignore you or will stop just to tell you its not their department. I waited over an hour to have blinds cut before leaving after someone was paged to the department 5 times and not one person willing to help could be found.
I lost my phone tried everything to find it. I even pushed a message with my phone number to the lock screen of my phone hoping someone would call back. Later that night I got a call from a staffer at the Home Depot in Brooklyn telling me that they found my phone. When I picked it up the next day I offered a reward (because ti saved me $500). They declined so this review is my way of giving back. Very friendly and professional service.
This Home Depot in Brooklyn was fabulous. My experience there was beyond believable. I went with my sister in the attempt to getting a large amount of materials to complete a project that my sister was doing. Since my sister and I have never really done any major projects we were lost in having to get these items. This wonderful angel realizing our frustration went above and beyond to help us retrieve these items. Thank god for ‘this person her name is zuleika we’re we’re so happy that we found most things. For there were a few things they didn’t have ,but we were only so so happy for the things that we were able to find because of zuleika
Good Home Depot. An employee named Akelia that went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. The self checkout is fast and efficient. The only thing that could use improvement is their online inventory because you can’t tell what they have in the store unless you go there.
You really need to go outside the city to find a good home depot. This one for example (sucks)! The employees are a total joke. I got yelled at by the wiener that runs the tool rental because I used the magical tool rental entrance because trucks were blocking the way into the other entrance. The only thing good about this store is the fact that It looks like its about to collapse. Dont bother going here, they wont have what you need.
What can I say that you dont already know about The Home Depot. This particular store is enormous. Theres a wide selection of everything you could want or need. My suggestion is that you research the materials youre going to need for your project cause if you dont it could be a problem. I didnt really get the help that I needed, not because they were rude, but because it seems, they were wrapped up in their own work. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get to off of NY-27.
Lots in stock. But the tile I ordered ended up being a slightly different one. Unfortunately, the hassle to drive it back deterred me from returning to get the gold vein Carrara polished tile. Quite disappointed in their stock. Though customer service is very helpful.
I’m writing this as I sit on the phone on hold to ask an easy question from flooring dept. I’ve had 5 people pick up who weren’t in flooring. I’m now at the 20 min mark. They clearly can’t handle a phone call. You will have to drive there to get one question answered.
Compared to most Home Depot’s this store is a dumpster fire. They constantly have products indicated as being in stock online and then either don’t have them in stock or can’t locate them at the store. This has probably happened 1/2 a dozen times. Case in point. Today I went to pick up two 8 gallon containers of underlayment adhesive...3 in stock online....at the store there are none what an unbelievable waste of time!
28 minutes and 58 seconds. Thats what my phone read after calling home Depot to see if they had 5 foot ladders and how much they were.Instead of a simple answer I was transferred over and over to different departments who, once they heard my question, transferred me again. I even got attitude from someone who told me I chose the wrong apartment but quickly cut me off transferred me without a word or apology once I said actually someone transferred me to you.It wasnt until I finally said to one person please! Im going to ask you a question but dont transfer me as soon as I finish. Ive been transfered 8 times at this point. she was very nice and seemed to understand my frustration. She assured me she was putting me on hold and not transferring me.This hold took a long time and after a bit she said she was going to go check on the ladders herself since the person she asked was taking way too long.Essentially the staff was so incompetent that a staff member from another department had to leave her post, search for ladders herself, and remember the prices for me.If it took that long for an actual employee to get help I would hate to be walking into this home Depot and not know where I am going. That one lady was very nice but its clear this place has some work to do in the customer service area.
Ive been to a lot of Home Depots in my day, but this one, this one? This one is the most horrible display of mismanagement I have ever witnessed. The parking lot is an absolute mess. Garbage, lots and lots of garbage everywhere. The inside is only slightly better. Merchandise everywhere, on the floor, on shelves where it doesnt belong, packages opened or torn. Employees are of little help. Ill be taking my business to Lowes a few blocks away from now on.
They had very little in stock of what I was looking for or none at all and very few choices. The customer service people were running away so they dont have to help or just dont know anything about the trades or products. The lady shows me bathroom sink and vanity as a kitchen cabinet with sink! OMG... I think this location serves contractors so normal people like me are SOL...
Went in expecting a quick trip to pick up one item that was listed in stock online. Turns out not only did they not have any, but I had to ask 3 different people for help before anyone even checked if they had any — after about 15 minutes of waiting. And all were pretty rude. Will definitely not be returning.
Was so kind, so patient, answered all of my basic questions without a hint of condescension, pleasant to talk to, and just an all-around great guy. Working with Jerry sold me on Home Depot broadly. Thank you so much, Jerry, for your help.General feedback for Home Depot: I tried to give Jerry feedback by telling one of the supervisors and check out about how great to us. She told me to go on the Survey on my receipt. This is not great customer service. I didnt want to have to go through a long survey, I just wanted someone to know that Jerry is awesome. I then went on the receipt survey, and it was clunky and hard to work from my mobile phone.
This is a large home Depot, they have most of everything you need. Parking is extremely tight on the ground floor unless you want to park on the rooftop parking and then take the elevator down, and then back up. I asked an associate where something was they gave me the wrong place for the item. The nearest home Depot from this one is not anywhere near here. The next choice is Lowes which is only a few minutes from his store ..
Inventory Model Failure. Went for a garden hose, they only had odd sized end-of-season leftovers. This inventory model may have made sense in 1890 but in 2020 we expect sizes that are more popular to be replenished. This means lost sales, wasted trip. Pfeh! Pfeh on Home Depots antiquated 19th century stocking model! I am ordering one from Amazon. Whatever their sins they understand logistics and inventory. I never dreamed the megastore Home Depot could be out of stock on such a basic home commodity.
I spent over 1 1/2 hours on hold. Finally someone picked up but she could not answer the simple question re: dimensions of a build in microwave oven. She put me back on hold - I held for another 30 minutes and hung up. For God sake - figure out how to answer a simple customer question!
I think that every home depot outside of NYC is way better than anything NYC. Normally the people who work there are either tired or dont care much but thats the stress of living in this city. Aside from that, Its a nice sized home depot. Definitely got a lot of things that i needed. Been here multiple time and also good for PARKING !! Overall experience good when not packed.
Worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Their customer service sucks. You ask for help you’ll be waiting forever. Do you’re best to try to avoid the nasty cashier Jaqueline. She has an attitude every single day all day, trust me. I went three days in a row and she treats you like you owe her something that’s probably why she will be working at Home Depot for the rest of her life. Stay away and choose Lowe’s instead.
I brought kitchen cabinets about 15yrs ago and I needed them service. The store manager took my name and number had a handyman call me to repair my cabinets. They were so credible that I hired them to do additional work. Thats above and beyond customers service. Home Depot staff 💯💪🏾
Trying to place an order for indoor custom sliding doors. Third party did the measurements. Waiting for a call back from Home Depot for almost a month. Visited their branch several times but no one seems to know what is going on and keep blaming third party for not updating their system. Trying to call them now, on hold for 10 mins already. I have a feeling what excuse will be used this time...
I was getting a chemical to strip some paint. I bought it and had to return since it was impossible to open the container (fortunately). I went to the store to exchange it, none of the containers I could open or even the home depot representative, the representative suggested to puncture the container to take out the fluid (as if was a gentle chemical). He did not offer any of the safety precautions this being a very toxic chemical which burns on your skin and toxic if inhaled. Im glad I didnt follow the advice of this person as this is extremely dangerous chemical. One drop of the chemical burns your skin! Imagine if a drop falls in my eye while puncturing the container? Or just doing it indoors wouldve been terrible! Im extremely disappointed with the training given. Do you care on the safety of your costumers?!?!?! The representative didnt seem to care at all. I hope no one has gotten hurt for the mediocre costumer service provided in this location. It is unfortunate how ONE team member can damage the reputation of a whole store as Ive seen many nice representatives. Im very concerned with home depot costumers that may not be sure of certain chemicals
Always a cluster in there. Isles always closed down because of employees working, fustrating at times. The lines have got somewhat better and the registers move pretty quick. But you get what you need there and their prices are still competitive. Just plan accordingly to be Im there for longer than expected.

2022-06-06This Home Depot is probably worse than location on erskine street.the line is always through the door . Customers here don’t understand anything that’s going on . They show up with no receipt just makes the staff more miserable . Definitely needs another section for returns/ pick ups

2022-06-26Shout out to Tashana, Valerie, Luis and Luke the Pro Truck driver for hooking me up with a pro delivery and going above and beyond for customer satisfaction. A top notch team 💪 also shout out to that girl from appliances who sold me the magic chef floor model 10.1 cubic ft in white. It was the only floor model they had and she sold it to me. She has braids I dont know her name but shes cool AF 😎Update - shout out to Mark from plumbing truly knowledgeable and all around helpful guy. Hooked us up with knowledge on how to hook up a washer to a sink set up and also Dionne is a another great employee with a good heart who gave me the only remaining magic chef floor model refrigerator. This is the best Home Depot hands down. Great employees

2022-01-31Ordered a few things online for scheduled delivery. One item wasnt delivered but I was still charged for it. They use Roadie for deliveries and I dont fault the driver on this since I dont think its their responsibility to know what is in the order theyre picking up. This is the fault of the people packing it at the store. I called this location (on a weekday during regular business hours) and stayed on the line for a while to try and get this issue resolved but no one answered the phone for at least 25 min. Makes me think twice about ordering from Home Depot. At least the missing product wasnt so expensive.

2022-05-24Worst Home Depot Location in the nation!Instead of writing my whole mind boggling story with them, let me say this:By entering this store youre automatically on trial by a bunch of angry judges...I hope i will be contacted by the Home Depot executives to tell them my experience there, and why they need to change the team from top to bottom.

2022-05-17Home Depot Brooklyn Let’s work on training your employees. While making a return , I had to wait an additonal 20 minutes so the women could open up all completely sealed / never opened items? No senseThen the manager Sophia was extremely rude. She is so unqualified to be a supervisor. Work on training upper employees on how to interact with customers. Someone hates their job.

2020-10-03Garden center is well stocked. Update : terrible customer service, waited 15 minutes for shades to be cut. Only one cash line, all others self checkout. Rude, uninterested employees. We were picking out 2 garbage cans and the AH tells us we have to leave the aisle. I said yeah, as soon as I take these 2 cans. Why dont you help?
