Had two do a phone sale at the pro desk6 people were standing there behind the desks only one person was being helped 4 people were on line I was waiting for 20 mins I was the second person on line horrible cousmer service I will not go back here
Was on my 3rd trip to the store cause I was having trouble upgrading the outlets at my place to GFCI. Mark went above and beyond in explaining to me the proper way to do it and it fixed my problem. He was super friendly and very knowledgable.

Best Home Depot I have ever went too! The staff is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile to take care of your needs. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ed, Louis and Fritz and they all went out of their way to deliver a quality shopping experience that i just cannot stop talking about. Each employee at this location was so friendly and helpful that it has made me a lifelong customer of Home Depot. I will go out of my way to deal with the employees at this store again.
This store is so annoying, most times that I put in an order for curbside pickup I have to call the store to ask if they’re working on my order (according to the confirmation email should be ready) and they always, without fail, sound so surprised.The whole ordeal takes way too long; this time I’m waiting over 45 minutes. Why do I have to call to have my order worked on? At least they have the service.
Stopped by this Home Depot bc I needed a drill for work and was willing to spend any amount for the perfect one but Erik K in the tools section was just so over it. I could tell he didn’t want to help. He then went and tried to get help from another man and he also could careless. I will forever stay loyal to the Home Depot in Huntington where the workers are courteous and customer service is actually a thing.
I love this himedepot specifically. The staff are very helpful and they always help you find anything you need and if they dont have it theyll order it for you. Also, it wa very clean considering its a home improvement shop and they also have goo,d, high quality items that are inexpensive for those DIYers that are on a budget like myself and this place also lets you return should your purchased items have ANY edibles which is really good and has one of the best return policies out of the many hardware and home improvement companies out there. Also, the layout at this homestead isnt as full as others sits easier to find thing and be on your way. 10/10 store
After waiting almost 2 weeks for an in-store order of a portable air condition this is the condition of the exterior of the box that I received a package that I paid a little under $400 at the Smithtown Home Depot on Crooked Hill Road.
MOST OF THE TIME, The Home Depot is fantastic. They have basically everything you could possibly need for home renovations and construction projects. They have really helpful service and they answer my questions with ease, along with giving their own insider tips on stuff. I have bought refrigerators, windows, and LOTS of other home renovation stuff and am very happy with them all. About 2 weeks ago, however, I ordered a brand new water cooler. After waiting quite a while for it, it arrived in a broked beat-up box. The water cooler itself wasnt great either. It had a huge dent! The door wasnt in line and had to be lifted up to get closed too. So disappointed. Returning was easy. Yesterday, I dropped by to make some keys and the service was awful. I asked someone to come help with the keys. They said someone will come, and no one came. There were 2 other customers with us as well. We were all waiting for like 20 minutes by the key area, just standing there. Someone came eventually, but that waiting time was ridiculous. Plus, after all that, the man made my keys wrong. Had to go back the next day. Anyway, great store overall. Ive only ever had two bad experiences there my whole life.OVERALL, Go to Home Depot for all your home needs!!! Great prices, most of the time good service. I have a lifetime of experience.👍
I went to the store to get some concrete to do some repairs at home so Im standing in front of the concrete isle so many different types that I didnt know witch one to get but I was very lucky because the store manager was passing by & she asked me if I needed help I said yes and she helped me to get the proper one she even got on step ladder and handed them to me. I will come back again to get all my home repair needs.
This Home Depot is great. George in Electrical Department helped me and he was very good. He was/is a master electrician and helped pick the right stuff AND went over how I should install it.Glad Home Depot hires such smart people!

In store, picked up a 194 piece Husky mechanics tools set, advertised online for 99.99. It rang up as 119.00, same SKU. The employee tells me they do NOT honor online prices. So I do not buy it.Does not make common sense. I can place an online order, and get shipped FREE to my house for that price. I can also chose pickup in store...Same thing happened with the Milwaukee combo drill set I tried to buy. Online you get a free battery with the purchase. Guy said, I dont think we can give that promo in store. So I had to make an online order while standing in the store. Wait an additional 45 minutes while some clerk appeared to physically take the product from the shelf, to customer service, where I picked it up...instead of just ringing it up at a register.The whole system does not make sense and wasted my time having to make an online order in the store.
Fantastic service above and beyond by associates Denise Burgher and Tim Torres. They really wen the extra mile to help us and exemplified the gold standard of customer service.
This particular home depot always seems to be well stocked... The home depot closest to my house is often out of garden supplies and lumber... This home depot almost always has stock of whatever the other store is out of... Their online ordering is fulfilled pretty quickly as well. Often less than the 2 hour window.. Especially if you call ahead to find out if they are busy... Service is very good, specific section staff are pretty knowledgeable be warned the teenage cashiers... Well... They are teenage cashiers... Dont bother... But anyone who works a section can absolutely help you find something in their section... Another thing to take into account is if you do an online order of soil, mulch, or rock, by store policy, they cannot load it on a hand truck and place it by customer service... But you can call ahead and ask if there will be someone there to help and they will absolutely have staff help you take out and load into your vehicle.

Check out is always fast and easy however the customer service desk was a bit understaffed. Customer service rep was Reluctant to give me a sale clearly marked only feet away on and item in my exchange,After some detailed and unnecessarily long inspection the sale was granted in my favor however I lost valuable daylight on my one day off
The store manger Mark went out of his way to help me. Kudos to him because it’s rare you see that nowadays. I’ll be shopping this home depo from now on. Thank you Mark.
Initially went to Walmart for a key copy. I waited 44+ minutes and no one ever came. I went to customer service who told me to go to Home Depot. Unreal. I went to Home Depot and was served immediately and even though the price was higher, it was more than worth it. Thanks for great service and a discount because they told me the wrong price beforehand. The key works and customer service was overly helpful.

I love this Home Depot. I live in Huntington but travel to this one because they have a much better inventory for things that I may or may not know I need. The store is always clean and when I need to place a specialty order like for tiles or kitchen materials I never need to wait long and the people are helpful. I mean look its a depot the customer service is never great but when you need it this is the one to go to
As a contractor this is my most frequently visited department store. Ive been to 100s of their locations and most of the time the experience is the same, great prices for tools and building material but this particular store is above average in the customer service department.
One in this morning to buy 23 bags of 50lbs cement mix bags I asked for help from the Guy on the forklifts he was on his phone txting and said he was busy and that there was no one else to help there was another guy there he said he was busy and neither of them were doing anything I went up to go pay after putting everything on the cart and the lady asked me if I needed help so she got someone that guy walked away and never came back definitely terrible terrible hope nobody helped me about 1200 pounds of cement and I the put into my truck not helpful at all
Two employees ignored me when I needed help. When I complained, the others did not defend them but went out of the way to help me. They actually contacted the manager to inform her of what occurred.
Excellent helpful employees that made my visit 20x easier by helping look for the materials I buy. Wasnt in there for more than ten minutes and left with everything I needed. Certainly a great place to get material if your going to do some home improvement work.
Its hit or miss with this place as far as customer service. Some days you go there and you get somebody who actually likes their job and wants to help you and other times you get somebody whos miserable and cant be bothered.It a great place to go for general stuff around the house, but for most home improvement needs, Ill go to a specialty place...mostly because HD usually never has enough inventory of what I need.
The store was clean and they had everything I needed check out Liz friendly and in a timely manner. I dont like that they have lots of self checkout stands and only one attendant. But I guess robots are taking over the world

Poor customer service. All you get is passed off from one person to another.Finally walked out and went to Lowes.They were glad to help and got my $1000 purchase. I will always go to Lowes from now on.
Great experience. Ranata from paint department was amazing, shes a 51 110 lbs firecracker. She helped me load up 10 buckets of 5gal paint, went out of the store to get me a bigger cart and got me every item i needed, including items not from the paint department, and loaded up on my cart. Them she had the odassity to helped me pushed and maneuver this heavy cart all the way down to the pro desk, because as she said two is better and faster than one. Ranata gets 6 stars out of 5.
I had a very good experience today. I needed to match up some hardware for a TV that I am installing, it was a bit hard to find. I got a very cordial and knowledgeable associate who is very helpful and solve my problem for me.

Stocked to the walls with every conceivable item you can use for your home. Fully staffed with knowledgeable people waiting to assist. I readily found the items I was looking for was very pleased with my purchases
I found what I need to. 3 items paint, premixed oil/gas mix and something to absorb liquid spills. The 3rd I did have trouble finding, the guy working in that aisle was unaware of it, and it was somewhat buried. He told me sorry we dont have anything like that. I happened to see it and he dug it out. The first bag was ripped and leaking. It was in aisle with cleaners. The guy in paint dept guided me there.
Nice family farm. We visited the sunflowers and went pumpkin picking in fall and roasted marshmallows for the Christmas season.
So now you close the COMMACK store for pick up only? Glad Loews is near by. This Home depot is horrible. No one ever knows whats going on like its their first day every day. Horrible system for special order pick ups. Why dont they all have the same system?? Poorly managed. Like night and day compared to the commack home depot.

Great finds, but returns take long time. Its also tough finding help in the aisles sometimes. Lowes has better guides.
They are very customer conscious. It was easy to get help cutting blinds down to the needed size.
I feel like Commack is the best Home Depot in the area. Thats including Bay Shore, Deer Park, & Central Islip. Everyone I ask a question to, or help, they answer professionally and Always help me find what Im looking for. Commack is 150% my go-to Home Depot.
Some cashiers welcome customers nicely. The place had change drastically and dont like it much. I liked the warm, cozy welcome.

Typically less crowded, but much less variety in products. If a standard item, this is a great HD.
Its home depot. This one is pretty stocked well but it seems things are organized differently than most other home depot stores.
It boggles my mind that a store this large can have a limited selection; if youre in need of something out of the mainstream, look for an old fashioned hardware store or lumber yard. On the upside, this one is large and well lit.
Horrible.....Went for a Wagner Steam Cleaner. Inventory showed 2. After 3 employees, neither piece could be found. Will never go to this Home Depot again!!!!!

2022-03-01Purchased a new grill I got delivered the one they had for display! When I got to Home Depot they had a new one as display! 😡😡I bet for second hand I could get something shipper and better! It has alway bn my store disappointed!

2022-05-25Good home depot cause its always empty. But all the employees are usually hiding between isles not to be seen. They just hang around not helping anyone. Horrible service. Bay shore HD is way better.

2020-09-03Compared to the Valley Stream Home Depot I was at a few days earlier, this one was cleaner and had most shelves stocked. The selection was better and items were in better condition. I was able to get the exact LED specialized bulbs I needed and got a better idea of some possible ceiling fans and vanities for furniture projects. If out this way, its a much better experience here.

2022-05-09I visited this Home Depot yesterday. If America had a supply chain problem, it must be solved. It looked like 20 shipments had arrived and been stored in the aisles all over the store. My efforts at buying brick were hampered by two things: 1) the stuff all over the store kept me from moving a cart through, and 2) the shelves werent stocked because staff couldnt get to the shelves either. I went to the Jericho Turnpike store to buy my brick.

2022-02-17I have been to this location as well as East Northport and both stores have been nothing but satisfactory. Employees walk up and asked me how they could help. I always am asking for a Manager so I can tell them what a fantastic store they are running. The employees do what they are supposed to and walk around assisting customers. 5 Stars for this location and others

2021-12-07I have been here once or twice but I am more used to Home Depot in Deer Park. I know where everything is in Deer Park and things are not organized the same way. Although, recently I rented a truck from home depot from this location and the lady from Customer Service was amazing. I would return here anytime the need arises.Drop in your comment if you had a different experience. I would like to know the name of the lady in Customer service.

2021-11-09Great service with friendly workers who tried their best to help me. When they didn’t have the product the called another store to help even more. I’ll go out of my way to go to this store rather then the bay shore store (which I live 2mins away from). Customer service was amazing. Thank you for helping me find something as small as a ring battery.
