The Home Depot in other cities:
Lately home depot is becoming a place with empty shelves, even when you check online before actually go to the store and you can see 10 o 20 items of what you looking for ,when you arrived to the store there is nothing or when you order online and they cancel you order because they dont have it after seeing that they have many in storage, i think they dont care anymore about our time .
Home Depot was...Home Depot. I went there looking for a nice Christmas Tree for my family and found it. Abundant selection of trees to choose from, however unless you are elderly or a lovely woman you will not receive the level of customer care and assistance you are hoping for. After about an hour of searching through trees I found the perfect one , 6+ footer, a nice wreath as well, the guys tied it down to the car nicely and prepped the tree very professionally I must say. The wife is happy with the purchase, which is why they are still getting 4 stars. Saw a lovely black monarch butterfly during my time there which was also nice.
Today a friend and I went to Home Depot to buy a two by two piece of plywood and a power saw. We were looking at an expensive power saw that was cordless. The total cost for the power saw and the charger combined was $400. Luckily we ran into a knowledgeable employee named Ralph . Ralph saved us a ton of money. All we needed the saw for was to trim pieces from a two by two piece of plywood to seal a hole under my cabinet. The total cost of the cheaper alternative power saw which was wired was $80. The eighty-dollar power saw did the job just fine. Thank you Ralph for saving us a ton of money. We appreciate you :-)
We all need a Home Depot close to home. The reason why this Home Depot got a three star from me is because they lack many products I am looking for on the shelf. Also, there is not too much employee interaction. I walk around sometimes confused and wondering which aisle has the thing I’m looking for? At this Home Depot, it looks as if no one wants to help you. I know employees are busy but it would be nice to look at your customer and perhaps ask them,“do you need any help? “.
Went with my husband, he needed some tools, immediately we had employees asking us what were we looking for and directing us to the where we could find them. Once we got to the tool isle there were two very friendly employees that assisted him in his selection. By the time we got to the cashier, a lady named Kathy, she was extremely friendly and, I know this is part of her job but offered him if he applied for a Home Depot credit card he would receive a discount on his payment, something he was not aware of. In a matter of 5 minutes he applied, got hid discount and was approved for a Home Depot account. We found it to be a very pleasant experience overall.
Ordered laminate wood flooring and scheduled a delivery for Saturday. Delivery window was 6am-8pm so I waited until 3:30pm when I got my delivery BUT there was no flooring! It was just a small bag of “supplies”. So I call and they say they need to schedule the actual floor delivery for another day. No apology or concern was shown after I told them I waited nearly all day for a scheduled delivery that never occurred.
Worst home Depot out thereStore is dirty and smellsShelves are a messCheck out lines are like gas lines in the70s, slooooooow!!!!And the attitude of the workers is deplorable, we all have tough jobs, get over it,Headquarters should definitely close this one and save the embarrassment
This home depot is absolutely amazing.. They have a huge selection of products to choose from. Most of the time I can find exactly what Im looking for. The prices of fair and this customer service is great. We also like the hassle free return policy.Theres plenty of free parking and customer restrooms. Its also conveniently located in the northeast part of The Bronx at the bottom of gunhill road right off of I95 New England Thruway exit 10 North. Easy to get to in minutes from East gun hill road off of the The Bronxriver Parkway or Hutchinson River Parkway/ New England Thruway
Curbside pickup is intentionally broken! They know it doesnt work, and do not care. Its a shame that corporate doesnt seem to care about this franchise because the in store employees are always helpful and knowledgeable! VOTE SOCIALIST POLICIES!!! IF THE WORKERS HAD CONTROL OF THE PLACE IT WOULD BE PERFECT!ANY PROBLEM IVE EVER HAD WITH THIS PLACE IS THE FAULT OF THE WEBSITE, THE CORPORATE OVERLORDS DONT CARE WHATSOEVER.
Crowded (all the main thoroughfares are full of garbage) making it an extremely frustrating experience. Many items are missing from the shelves, and the isles are always choked with palettes, abandoned shopping carts, and other junk. Save your time and money and shop at places alike Wise Hardware.
The worst selection of nuts & blots Ever they have nothing to match a disarray selection bits and pieces of nothing to compare or use tighten up this is Home Depot get a staff in there to fix and organize replace your everything in that section that was a total waste of time!!!
Only go here if you know exactly what you need. Do not expect assistance, and even less anyone knowledgeable in their department. It truly bewilders me that this company still exists because its not just this location. I asked an employee who worked in the appliance section to let me know if they have the ice maker for a whirlpool fridge. I even showed a picture and sku FROM THEIR SITE. I might as well have showed him some alien artifact from 3 galaxies beyond. He had no clue what it was and even better told me they dont have it WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT IT IS NOR CHECKING!!!!!!!!!! COME ON. This isnt the first bad experience here, just the most recent.
It went from bad to worse. This service here is atrocious. I looked around for 20 minutes for a staff member. I finally spotted a member who I asked for assistance. He said Im helping someone I will right with you. After waiting an additional 30 minutes, I left my cart with all of my items still in it. As approached the exit I spotted the staff member talking to a female member. When he noticed me approaching he took off. When. I asked the female staff member his name she said, I dont know it, I think it starts with a W. I will take my business to Lowes where the service is consistently above par.
Terrible customer experience on a flooring installation job. Cant get anyone on the phone, my order was lost multiple times, the floors were delayed by a month for no reason... when the installers came they then realized the floors needed to be re-leveled for an additional cost of $4400. Will never go back.
If you dont require assistance from these people then you are golden. Go in there, get what you need and get out. If you need to return anything better it in person. If you have any issues that require you calling in GOOD LUCK. They take forever to answer their phones, pick and and put you back on hold just to hang up on you 30 minutes later. Every time i have had to call anything in it has always been the same horrible experience.editing my review from 2 stars down to 1 star because nothing has changed
Easy to make two returns. On the first, credit card was not required to process back to original card. On the second, with no receipt, clerk was able to look up purchase by zip code on card used and refund was processed back to that original card also. All in all, two very easy returns.
I just had to write a review and shine a bright light on Kinsha from the appliance department. She was such a great help. She was there assisting me from before delivery and after. She assured me when I had to make adjustments to my order and always called back to follow up. She even called after the delivery to find out if I needed anything..which I did, and helped me with that too!!! I am really impressed. I felt like she provided excellent customer service and made what could have been a very stressful situation bearable, because of her dedication to her clients.
Thank you Home Depot staff for providing continuity during these difficult times. Staff continues to be extremely helpful and cheerful. They are certainly essential workers during this time and its greatly appreciated. Now for the review, quick self checkout, plenty of help for the process and all customers respected 6 distance and mask measures. A+
The products are good. But at check out I headed toward an empty cashier and was told I had to get on line. I looked to where the employee pointed and there was no line anywhere! I walked to spot on floor the was start to non existent line. Then the employee had me walk to where I first started to go originally towards cashier. Waste of time and energy. There was no point to what she had me do! She must be OCD or bruta or both.
Came here to buy a certain item and I came one day and I found a perfect piece really nice and it had a sign which shows it was on sale and they told us to come the next day since we brought a small car , we came the next day to the same person and they told us “sorry it’s regular price now” they was really rude about it , we had proof but that don’t matter. There’s some nice people here don’t get me wrong but the fact that even if U have proof and they remember u from the other day that don’t mean nothing . Managers should learn how to do there job correctly!
I went to buy flooring today and Charlene was amazing! She helped me to get the flooring I needed, she calculated the amount of boxes I would need, had the staff to put it in the cart for me. Then routed me to Eduardo who assisted me with the floor molding, he cut the molding to my liking, he was patient and helped me look for finish nails, he also assisted me with putting the boxes and molding in my truck. This was a great customer service experience and I highly recommend this store location based on my shopping experience today. Hats off to Charlene and Eduardo! You both rock!
Staff is not very helpful, it seemed that everyone I encountered was moving away from customers rather than trying to help them. I wandered around for about 10 minutes talking to myself while looking for a product and every employee I tried to ask for help was deaf. The cashier was pleasant
Not for nothing but the staff at this location is the nicest, most friendliest group of Home Depot people Ive ever met, especially the crew at night that has a lot of guys from the West Indies - thats how to deal with a tedious job where you deal with contractors all day and Yoga Moms all night - you sing, you smile, you keep busy and do as much as possible otherwise a job like that can drag like you wouldnt believe. If you know how to work an iPhone you never need to ask for much help just use the app which knows everything even where and how many. The Home Depot in Port Chester is the polar opposite of this place. Everyone is nasty and would rather eat glass than even talk to the likes of YOU.
Home Depot has become victims of their own success. I have tried the yonkers and now the new Rochelle store. Consumer Services is by far the worst I have experience. They have re-scheduled my delivery in multiple occasions. I waited 45 minutes on the phone, and drove to the store while I was still on the phone. Upon my arrival while still on the call they were three people just waiting around the phone. The lack of care, and willingness to help is palpable. The simple fact that they have a little monopoly has allowed them to feel that they can’t do no wrong and abuse the consumer loyalty. Not only my delivery was not sent the same day but, it was not even on the truck after telling me repeatedly throughout the day that it was already out for delivery. The worst experience I had in a while. The level of worse surpasses that of Lowe’s. Thanks
Spent over an hour in the lumber section trying to track down people to assist us. Saw at least two of the associates were on their phones hiding in nooks between the lumber, away from customers and cameras. We had an associate from another dept page someone to cut wood for us, we waited and waited but no one came. We ended up leaving empty handed and wasted a chunk of our afternoon.
We came in about 30 minutes before closing time and the staff was busy doing their preparations for closing. We were looking for washing machines and dryers. No one offered help or greeted us. One employee was actually listening to / watching the results of the Democratic Primary while we were looking at appliances. We left that section and proceeded to buy about $80 worth of household products. At least the head cashier overlooking the self checkout opened up a new register at the self checkout to expedite our purchase. My experience could have been better; could have been worse.
They have a great selection of tools and hardware. Ive never actually gone to this home depot and not been able to find what I was looking for. That being said, the staff here are horrendous when it gets even a little crowded. You go during a time when absolutely no one is there? You will find help. If there are more than fifteen people in the store, everyone is suddenly on lunch, helping someone else, or leaving for the day. Its genuinely impossible to ask even a simple question. You can imagine that this is only exacerbated during the holidays. My advice, research online, look up the aisle online, and *then* go in the store. Good luck!
Ordered an appliance for delivery and paid a haul away fee so they can take my old fridge. They arrived and proceeded to argue with me that they will not drop off my new appliance because according to them, I did not pay for the fee. When I went to show them that I, in-fact paid for the fee, they drove off with my new fridge. Before they drove off, one of the men told me to give him $25 and he will haul the old appliance away. I refused because it clearly states on my receipt and tracking number that I paid for haul away online. They wanted to get a quick dollar off me and that’s sad.
This might be the worst home Depot... scratch that worst home center... scratch that worst retail store on the planet! The associates are overworked and under educated. The curbside pickup is an hour wait even at 6:00 in the morning and they refuse to help with anything even if they give you the wrong product or charge you for something they didnt give you. Good luck trying to find any help and the prices are no better than the local hardware store. Even if the local hardware store or Lowes or frankly the bum on the street charged 50 times more for a shred of service I might consider it. home Depot you should be disappointed and management should be fired at the store immediately. Ill be going to Port Chester if I ever attend to home Depot again after New Rochelle has failed to deliver over and over and over and over. for shame.
Its home depot. The people who work here are nice enough if you can track one down and get their attention, but most dont know squat about the tools theyre selling. If you know what you need, and you know where to find it, its fine. If you need help or advice, go to a real hardware store.
Home Depot always has what I need. The New Rochelle store is always neat and the help is very knowledgeable. Only issue was that apparently people feel that they can walk in without a face mask and walk around. I didnt see signs requiring them not did the security guard prevent people from coming in without them. Wake up people dont be so damn selfish!!!
The store has recuperated from the run on all things plant related! The shelves are fully stocked once again and Covid protocols are still nicely in place and monitored. There are social distancing markers and plexiglass at the registers and always a staff member keeping the line in order. Curbside pickup has changed location in the lot, but is still available. As long as you know what you need, this is a great place to shop. Getting help can still be a bit of a challenge. You can go online and research what you need ahead of time - their site will even tell you exactly what aisle and even bin the item is in!!!!!
The New Rochelle Home Depot is extremely disappointing. The personnel is unpleasant, they dont know anything, rude and sarcastic on the phone, completely absent minded in person. I have been in many Home Depots and this is really the worst Home Depot (or retail store) experience of my entire life. Consistently bad. I order items online and they get cancelled - if I call to ask for explanation, I am given an attitude and no explanation. I do not understand how Home Depot can tolerate this.
Im pleased to recommend Home Depot store # 1245, located in New Rochelle N.Y., for your kitchen remodeling needs. Our Senior Design Architect, Byrant Henderson, helped us select the perfect appliances to match our kitchen remodeling project.I also found Byrants suggestions and recommendations to be invaluable, and they saved us many dollars and undue frustration.
WORST STORE EVER!! NO1 ANSWERS PHONE EXCEPT TO PICK IT UP & IMMEDIATELY PUT U ON HOLD!! UTTER INSANITY!! STAY AWAY!! IT BEYOND STINKS!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE-ITS REALLY NOT THAT MUCH CHEAPER ANYWAY & ID RATHER GO LOCALLY, MAYBE PAY A WEE BIT MORE BUT ILL SURELY GET GREAT SERVICE!!
Called 5 mins before arrival to get a propane tank. Arrive and was told that they never had them. What kind of store are you guys running here? Do you really think it is okay to just waste a customers time and gas? Will not be revisiting this store unless the apocalypse hits.
I am very disappointed with the service Ive been getting at this home depot. First I placed an order of cabinets for my kitchen on the 2nd week of June. Was told I would get them by the first to second week of July. I torn down my whole kitchen. Then I call back and was told that there was a delay and will get them by the end of July. From that i had to go yesterday and argue to get them because they said they attempted and and they never left the store. Today went in to tell them that the cabinets that were ordered were not fitting. Now I have to keep on waiting. Frustrated and done with this order. The store never picks.
Customer service was horrible, employees lie about where certain items are because theyre to lazy to work. Left the store without purchasing what I needed, went to a mom and pop hardware was treated much better and purchased my item needed. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
The staff are disrespectful and no help at all. Tried to get assistance in the tool section and the employee working the tool section ignored me, then got lost on me. But some employees are helpful, but a majority are dismissive. Please visit my YouTube page for other tours of New York. Wilderblizz the tour of New York
Needed some paint and other items. Checked line at New Rochelle at around 5pm figuring everyone had gone early.Nope, line stretched along entire front of store! 73 people in all. Yeah, I counted.Store opens at 6am. Went at 6:30.No line!Personnel at door check for masks. No entry without. Store had toilet paper, wipes , and cleaning supplies.Paint counter was staffed! One line to reach cashiers and self checkout with distancing markers on floor.Personnel do good job of controlling it.Why 4 not five stars? It was the customers who do not know what social distancing is.Folks follow the rules, please! And yes, that was not the stores faultWe were out within half an hour and that included mixing custom paint!
I find this store to be well organized, clean and easy to navigate. It is unlikely that any one employee will recall the location, price and precise application of all products sold at Home Depot. While I find the staff helpful, I also take the time to research items of interest, prior to visiting the store which increases my chances of having a positive experience.
Impossible to reach the garden center by phone. Every time I reached a person and asked my question, I got immediately put back on hold without any response or information about where I was being transferred. This went on for over 30 mins and I never managed to speak to an actual human in the garden department. Finally customer service simply hung up on me. Its not helpful to have curbside pickup if I cant reach anyone in advance to find out what is in stock.
The customer service in the phone very rude. He hang up the phone twice when I was talking to her and refused to give me her name. (12/31/19)PS.I went to the store to give a complaint. One of the manager Ali, ( I am sorry if I misspelling your name) Talked to me about the issue and he promised that the delivery will be on Saturday ( Jan 4, 2020) It is 8 :00 PM and Home Depot never send the delivery , even though I call three time today about it.Assist Manager ( Ali), you promised that my order 120 cements block would be here today. Nothing happened!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I will go to the store to find out what excuse the store has.Today is Saturday, January 25, 2020(5: 12 PM). I am still waiting for the delivery. I called twice to the store and the delivery never arrived. ( 8:33PM) NICE SERVICEThe customer service re-schedule to February 01, 20.
Waiting 20 minutes for help in carpeting and paged for someone right away. After 10 minutes another associate paged for someone again. At 20 minutes another associate said theyll need a minute to get someone...10 minutes later they return to say no one is here, but I can place the order at customer service.... Jokes on me, another 30 minutes and they dont know how to place the order. Within that 30 minutes they did complain about calling other home depots for me because theyll be in hold forever... Screw me who needs a carpet because if a water leak in my newborns room....
I frequently went to The Home Depot in New Rochelle when I lived there with my family. It is a pretty conveniently located warehouse towards the center of the city. My mother would bring me along with her to help her move heavier stuff and reach items on the higher shelves. We could get almost anything we needed there when it comes to home furnishings and fixings. However, I’m taking off two stars because I found their arrangement of items to be a little too crowded and the signages were not exactly friendly to those with poorer eyesight. I haven’t been there in a while so maybe things have changed. Fortunately, though their disabled parking space was never blocked as it sometimes is in establishments like these. I tend to look out for things like this because I find that to be a very thoughtful addition to customer service.
We had an issue with some paint we had purchased a while back. Roy in painting was AWESOME!!!! He explained what the issues were with the paint we had purchased. Then he clearly went over our options to maximize what we can get out of the paint. Going above and beyond does not go out of style- Thank You Roy!!
I went to this location to by a lawn mower. When I was checking out the cashier ask me did I want to buy a warranty for $45 extra buy when I asked him to explain to me what it covered and for how long he had no idea. Not to mention he did even offer a pamphlet. No clue whatsoever.
This store is easily accessible from Route 1 and I-95. It has plenty of parking and is handicap accessible. They have a nice store and garden centre. It could be a five star but it Does NOT Rent tools and while it is getting better with their staffing it is a big issue with not enough knowledgeable staff to provide help. Its a shame because it could go from a good store to a Great store.
Lots of good employees but just got The Who cares attitude we are closed from pro desk at 10minutes to 6 and when I asked the man if he wants me to push drywall through to the front to get run out when there was only one person in front of me he said “I don’t care what you do”. Thanks tall long hair African American gentleman. Guess I will spend my remodeling money at Lowe’s from now on. Very disappointed
Closed all registers and put self check out. The line was from one end to opposite end of store? Why is it 99% self checkout? Maybe 50/50? I will not go back. Home depot account for lowes account sounds good. They have people helping every isle. Years of great home depot are gone for self checkout and people do not know how so lines are absolutely ridiculous. Open registers and well be back
Nice to have a Home Depot close by. Store just seems out of place. Cant really find things when I need them such as shades. Asking for help I got pushed onto another associate who informed me he was not even clocked in and I had to wait. Really? Then why did you ask if I needed something? Get off the work floor. Left and went to the second closest Home Depot where the store is clean fresh and helpful staff.
Terrible customer service--- sometimes a lot of product boxes are either broken into or are in such bad condition that they are broken open open with pieces missing. I have been accused of trying to take something when simply my box was open and was spilling products pieces out onto the shopping cart.In the same Shady manner that they have boxes that get broken into they apparently take back anything for any reason so a lot of people scammed and by taking products damaging them and then just bring in the back for returns. The prices you pay for the products might be convenient to drive there but if you know your stuff when you get it online you will save at least 20% to 30% more
My experience was great. Being unable to find what I needed or locate anyone working in Lumber, I went to the cashier at the front of this department. I inquired about what I needed and was told that they dont sell it. This employee then asked his coworker the name of the product that Home Depot uses for spill cleanups. He told him the name and where it was located. This young man was kind enough to take me to the department and make the inquiry for me, after which I was shown exactly what I needed and advised to put on a rubber glove before handling the bag, to protect my skin from harm. I received very personal attention and excellent service during my visit.
I was trying to get a key made, one of the cashiers were very helpful, she immediately paged someone to come to assist me, I waited for 20 minutes again she paged, after 10 minutes a lady came and stated anyone wanting keys made take them off the rings. She proceeded to the cashier area and began a conversation with another employee got her coat went outside, to be never seen again. I asked the cashier to page again she was surprised no one came. She did and finally a gentleman came after 10 minutes. He was very courtesy and polite.
Whats going on. The staff was very unprofessional. I have shopped at Home Depot for years and never experienced what I experienced yesterday. I went to buy a deep freezer and was told that the delivery would cost $79.00 that was okay. It could only be dropped off at the curb of my apartment building. What in the Hells and Whole Heavens is going on. Now I have to go some place else because Home Depot cant or wont deliver to my apartment.. Also the Customer Service Desk was just UGLY RUDE...
I would like to thank Mr. Bryant at the Kitchen Design Center for his professionalism, patience and attention to detail, with our kitchen remodeling project. His experience, expertise and guidance is the sole reason for the huge success in our remodeling project. Home Depot is extremely fortunate to have Associates like Bryant in their organization!
I went to the Home Depot in New Rochelle last weekend to purchase supplies for an electrical project. I had a terrible time locating help in the electrical section but found a true craftsman at the front of the store. John Peters took my experience at Home Depot from being miserably disappointing to being truly outstanding through his help and his amazing customer service skills. If all Home Depot employees followed Johns model of seeking the best answer for the customer and ensuring that their needs are met, I can only imagine the universally positive experiences that would follow. Home Depot Corporate, you have an amazing employee at Store 1245. Thank you John for turning around my entire experience and day.
Curbside pick up is close null and void. I’m sitting in my car for more than 1/2 hour waiting for my order to come out. Call customer service and was told that only one person is doing the curbside drop off, but I’m the only one at curbside pick up waiting for an order. The curbside pick parking is empty except for me; go figure!
Went to purchase our grandmother a new washer and dryer. I cant rave enough about Paul our appliance specialist that helped us with the purchase. Most of the times you go to these stores and you get people that hate their job and have no clue about any of the appliances. Paul was super knowledgeable extremely helpful and wonderful with people. He seems to not only like his job but actually takes pride in what he does. He made the shopping experience truly seamless. I know people are quick to write negative reviews so hopefully this gets back around to his management and they know what a great employee they have.
And my experience of home Depot do they need a lot of more people there to help customers me and my wife was like lost for like 30 minutes trying to find someone to help us find something but the key department they want the money with the key department we got keys made the guy seen as soon as we walked in he made our keys and everything
6/10/2019 @1:30pm Garden dept, employee cashier who wearing home dept uniform totally ignored customers, she so in love watching her movies on her mobile phone, this type of practice management must deal with take action immediately, its quite upset the fact I asked her to put my loose supplies in the bag please, without even inter acting customer, she threw plastic bag on top of the merchandise, how RUDE, I approached customer service, customer service personnel response no managers??? Are you kidding, I know for the fact there is managers on each dept, failure to page her or he?? Customer service personal proceed to garden dept asked her whats going on?? Cashier Immediately put her phone away. Management please take appropriate action on those non productive employees. Where is the good customer shopping experience!!.Very disappointed.
Aweful place I went to buy a fan because I was in a aweful heat wave . And checked online to make sure they had a fan in stock for me to buy . They did but when I went to pay they said the price online is always different from in store . The price difference was more than $30 . So I decided to pay online and pick up I store they said that was fine . Once they saw I was getting aggravated from waiting for her to process my pick up they said the order still didn’t process online . Thankfully another representative came and looked up the order number and it was there. She just didn’t want to do it . Great job really !
I have not really had a good experience there, some employees if you ask for help either say not my dept or disregard you, however the other night went in to get a specific item. There was a young lady by the door stocking a display, immediately asked if I needed help, I told her what I was looking for and not only did she point out the direction, she came with me and showed me. Wish I had gotten her name to tell her supervisors...that is true customer service!
This homedepot is pretty good. I drive out of my way just to visit this one. I like to drop in and browse. They usually have a large selection of product in stock and its more organized then the one closest to me. I only use the one closest to me if I know exactly what I want and just wants to do a pickup.
I had an emergency replacement need for a hot water tank . My go to source is usually the Home Depot in Mt. Pleasant. In this case New Rochelle was the only location open. I called on the drive down I spoke to an Awesome person named Dennis. He new what I needed and the warranties that applied. I was lucky enough to find him in the store when I got there. He helped me load it and we were off to the races. I get to the checkout and a really timid and pleasant young lady asks. Are you installing it yourself .In my frantic drive down it was the most important detail that didnt occur to me. So I ask her how much is installation? She then looks to the other side of the terminal and calls over Doreen. Doreen also unsure of herself calls in Michael. Michael made a reccomendation that I should call a phone number and Home Depot can assign someone to come over and give me the cost. Doreen then volunteers assistance to help load the appliance into my vehicle but disappeared shortly thereafter. I waited patiently and after becoming frustrated with the wait . I leave the water heater and go back to the doors only to find a combative associate at the door who wont listen to me but continues to repeat the word closed. I can get over being ignored, mistreated, mislead, and misdirected because I believe in forgiveness. Id usually considersaying nothing as opposed to being negative but I really had a tough time and my wish is that it should be addressed. Ultimately I was able to find a plumber he made a different reccomendation and I wound up spending more money at my local Home Depot and I returned the one I bought from New Rochelle.
There are some things you only buy at Home Depot, because thats the only place to find those things. There are some things you only buy at Home Depot because they are so much more expensive elsewhere. But for some things, just go to your local hardware store. Nothing is more frustrating than figuring out where what you need is at Home Depot and then they dont have it. At the local hardware store, you tell the nice lady what you need, she finds it for you and your done. If they dont have it, theyll tell you when it will be available. No one in Home Depot knows when something will be available.
If I could give it no stars I would!! Well the star can go to the gentleman that helped me in the store! Very helpful and professional.I ordered a garage door with installation and called the store to get status because it’s being delivered end of the week. The MOST RUDEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVEN DELT WITH!!! AND YBEY WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They answer the phone talking to someone else ask what they can help u with but still talking to someone else and hang up on you!!!! Not once but twice!!!! Never doing business here again!
Its a Home Depot. If you havent been to one, you should give it a visit. If you have, its just like the one youve been to. Its big and its got lots of tools and building materials and orange stuff. If theres more than one manufacturer of the thing youre looking for, buy the one thats Made In America.
Great, if you need lumber, sheetrock, tools or electrical supplies. BUT, they often run out out of certain things, if you need 4 things they may have 2 or 3 of them, ask when will you get more? Next week or Thursday. Return on thursday... nothing...ask a worker for advise or help on how to do something...ha ha ha...GOOD LUCK, clueless. You may get lucky though and get someone who actually knows something. Wishing you good things at The Home Depot...
Stay AWAY!!!worst customer service in the history of the world!hours on hold. Then get disconnected. Never return my calls. They re-scheduled my delivery 3 times without telling me. I had to wait those 3 instances at home and they never came. Finally they delivered only part of the stuff. Then it was IMPOSSSIBLE to get through customer service and have rest of order cancelled and refunded. its so ridiculous that not even HDs central customer service can get through to the store!!Rest assured, I never got my project done and wasted a whole weekend!
That home depot is trash, the floor associates whos no 1 job is customer service are lazy, know nothing about products, if you ask the location of a product instead of helping you they point fingers and tell to hang rights and lefts, and they are always out of stock on most products.
Worst home depot experience ever!! Absolutely HORRIBLE. The customer service was awful, cashier by the name of “ISHA” was absolutely DISRESPECTFUL for no reason whatsoever. She refused to look at my ID to verify my identity for a discount i qualified for, which was absolutely ridiculous and totally uncalled for. Had to call the manager. Totally unnecessary incident that couldve been avoided.
Never in my life have I encountered a group of people so incompetent. Every time I come in here I know its going to be an uphill battle with the staff. They are not courteous theyre not helpful and they are certainly not Pros. They know little to anything , nor couldnt be bothered to care. Twice this week I have HAD tom come in and was ignored. Im fairly certain that the slogan for this store is thats not in my department and I cant help you.
Staff very unfriendly and the friendly ones dont know where items are so you are sent on a wild goose chase.. I almost called the store while in the store to see if I could get some help in finding Storage item. There is a big sign about with an arrow and the word Storage however all I saw below the sign was flooring and kitchen items
This Home Depot location is one of my favorites. The staff is friendly and and they have enough knowledge about what department theyre in. Everytime I enter this location I feel like its the grown ups version ofc toys r us lol!! All departments are organized well and its easy to find what your looking for.
Had a terrible experience. The saws were both broken, so we could not have wood cut and the wood we wanted would not fit in our car in one piece. We then spent over 15 minutes trying to find someone to help us with no luck. Finally when we found someone, they were not knowledgeable at all, and we ended up giving up on making shelves all together.
I would be happy if Loews were available in our neighborhood . Home Depot customer services is absolutely terrible. Theyre workers have attitudes as if theyre bored and dont want to be there. While speaking to them theyre texting. Why is anyone at work texting instead of working.
I found what I was looking for,( light bulbs for an out door fixture) but even do I got some help, the person who help didnt know some basic answer about them. For example there are light bulbs just for outside use they didnt know that.(!!??). Other than that it was ok.
New Rochelle NY patrons are forced to wait outside in a slow line and enter through their closed interior spaces to get to the garden center. Ironically in normal times the garden center is exposed to the air and the light and customers come in from the outside . Infinitely less viral than going inside to their enclosed interior spaces. I can see its gonna take a while for this place to figure out how to configure things. In the meantime Ill avoid.
This might be the epitome of hell on earth for first time home owners. Never in my life have I encountered a group of people so incompetent. Of the two managers and EIGHT associates not one could answer a question in regard to their specialty, moreover complete the simple task of getting something from a high shelf. The staff is rude, slow and ignorant at BEST! Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Youre better off using sticks and rocks with a first grade level of knowledge to complete your home project then you would be going to this store for help. It is my absolute hope that the entire company is not held to the same extremely low standard. Simply put, burn the house down yourself taking the satisfaction of destroying your home from Home Depot or just got to Lowes.
Always fully stocked and plenty of ppl to help you if you need to find any particular item. Lines average about 4-5 min wait. Im here on a wed at about 5:30pm . down side always traffic outside making hard to maneuver. That arent that knowledgeable of what the items are in the store , but they are always willing to ask. Good location.
I usually go to this HD for convenience. Most of the material are semi-organized, and you can find almost everything. However, it is hard to find help in the aisles and if you see see anyone, they usually dont work in that particular section. There are a few that try to help but the percentage is too low. Nothing compared to HD at Port Chester, where they actually go and ask if you need help and the materials are organized and they have more variety than the one in NR.

2022-05-01I have been to many Home Depots all over the east coast. This one has to be one of the worst. You will find more shelf stock on the floor then on the shelves. If you are looking for help from a store associate, good luck. I have not seen the self checkouts work in years and the regular checkout is a confused mess. The only reason I would go there is because I was in the area. Last visit I couldnt get a simple plumbing washer. Went to a local plumbing store and the guy at the counter gave me the washer at no charge. All this store gives you for free is a headache.

2022-05-27This evening I had a terribly trying time at the Home Depot on Weyman Avenue in New Rochelle. This is by far the worst Home Depot I have ever visited.First of all, I couldnt find anything. The aisles had wrong information on them. I had to walk the store over and over again. Then I walked over to the self check-out and they would not let me use it. I had three small items! They had one register opened and about 30 customers waiting in line. The rude and disrespectful cashier, raising her voice, said that everyone has to wait whether they like it or not. She told me there is no such thing as self checkout, though thats all I use on each visit. I left; purchased nothing after wasting an hour finding what I needed, I had no intention of waiting for all those people. To check out !

2022-05-09Great service. The workers here were friendly and helpful. They did not mind stopping what they were doing to walk us around looking for items, making sure we found what we needed!!

2022-05-19They seem to have a lot of inventory but the one inconvenient thing is that theres no reception in the store. Its very difficult when trying to communicate with people about which specific items we need to purchase for a house project or check the link of items we purchased to match. Not so much in the front of the store but as you move towards the back. Its somewhat ridiculous. At least offer free wifi to your customers. I had to come back to the store to return items and purchase the correct ones because I thought I could call the contractor. Very inconvenient.

2022-05-29This Home Depot is okay but gets 3 stars when compared to the Bruckner and Brush store I used while living in the Bronx. The New Rochelle store no longer has self-checkout (they discontinued because of theft). This causes a longer wait in line sometimes. Also, the staff is split in terms of some are very friendly and helpful while others are not.

2022-07-01Great variety... But not accepting mobile payments 🙄🙄🙄. Had to go back for the card. Home Depot REALLY needs to do better. Even the deli and ice cream trucks take mobile payments.

2022-05-21I love the Home Depot. Its like a toy store for adults but I waited 20 minutes in the hardware aisle for assistance that never came. Assistance was called by 2 different employees. I walked out in frustration.

2021-05-10Horrible place to go , worst home depot I have been, the place is a mess costumer service is ridiculous, they dont have enough carts for the costumers because the little amount they have are full of material that goes somewhere else, the employees are very disrespectful saying they need the carts to work , looks like home depot cant handle in store shopping, very stressful time.
