Ive been to several homedepot stores but this one was the worst. I went there ready to purchase a washing machine had to wait 40 min for someone to help me. The sales lady seemed not to be having a good day. To my surprise she informed me that homedepot no longer installs washing machines,what they do instead is give you a voucher for you to contact a third party to do the installation,which can cost you $150. or more. Ive never heard of such a thing.Did not purchase the washing machine because of that.
The entire managerial staff of this Home Depot should be fired and replaced. The store is a disaster, with parts and pieces mixed together everywhere you look making it impossible to find anything. The staff cant find what you need either, because its all out of place and jumbled.
Spent 3 hours here looking for supplies on how to build a table and no one knew anything and claimed not to be a part of the area I was in even though they’d be walking and talking to their coworkers. No one would cut wood or pipes and disappear to only be found in groups of all employees hanging out not wanting to help me or customers. It’s very disappointing to have to chase employees who all seem to stand around in pairs away from their posts and away from customers just to ask for prices on supplies that clearly have been overpriced or never priced at all. Needless to say since I couldn’t find help I improvised only to come home having spent $350.00 on supplies that didn’t end up working. This location is in desperate need of leadership because it’s non existent even the customer service station had one girl claiming her boss was in a 2 hour break, 2 cashiers who’d close just to take a break while lines were long it was extremely unprofessional and chaotic so doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon. Also paid a worker outside to drive my purchases home because Home Depot charges $80.00 for drop off service and only after a minimum amount and no one knew how to process it. As I stated leadership is non existent here and is needed desperately.
This place is very much a hit or miss, the lines can he very long and most of the time the employees arent much help. There has been a few times I stepped in to help a fellow customer once the employee left because they was no help, the lady literally had a bolt and was just trying to find one that was a little shorter then the one she had. For anyone who doesnt know this, homedepot have nut and bolt testing stations and the employee didnt even try to use it to help the lady find what she need.
If youre fixing, building, replacing or renovating, this is the best place to get everything you need. Ive never left without everything I Came to get. The customer service is very helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the products are always up-to-par. I would recommend this store to all contractors and homeowners as well. Christmas 🎄 Are Available Now.
This home Depot is on gateway mall near Yankee stadium in the Bronx NY. It is kind of a nice mall but extremely overcrowded and is in the rough area of the Bronx. In fact all the stores have security 🤣😂. My friends wife wanted to put a huge refrigerator on top of my car, I was like hell no, so we got a taxi guy with a van and he got it delivered for 50 dollars. Although is in a ghetto place you get taxi 🚖 and helpers to help you. Its a cool place but since I prefer suburban areas I rather shop ghetto free so I personally would not shop at this place but my friends live in the hood so they love this place 😂🤣.
Homedepot can be a very challenging place to shop if you dont speak hardware. I find that if you locate the item on their website first and text the aisle and bin number to your phone before going to the store, you will find it quicker and save yourself from heartburn. If you do need assistance, I find the staff at this Bronx location very helpful.
To be fair, Im not rating the Home Depot itself, I love the depot! Im rating the location of this particular store because of difficult accessibility via vehicle. Its rare to go to a established Home Depot without its own private parking and this one falls short in that criteria.
Went to purchase plants and found exactly what I was looking for. They had a great selection from snake plants, spider plants, devils ivy plants, orchid cacti, song of India plants, palm trees, bromeliads, etc. I went nuts and bought five. The price is reasonable and there selection was plenty. I will be returning again.
During a pandemic that has emphasized the importance of hand washing. The home depot had the nerve to only have two bottles of soap for 4 sinks and one of the bottles was depleted and refilled with water. A perfect example of corporate greed, lack of humanity and decency!
Rented a 75ft snake ,as soon I took back its was like 20 ft away from her she already saying the machine smell , then they pulled cable to check if it was kinked or dirty , it had 4inch very light sewer risadew that I cleaned off on the spot and still charged me the $50 cleaning fee ,I rent this machine from different home Depot and no problem , but I guess in this depot they comishin out of the $50 they charge, never again at this home Depot anyway Lowes is better
First off you find anything you need here, the staff are always willing to help at any moment, just a one star because of how at the time for paying the store make it so awkward, not only theres a big plastic panel blocking the cashier it make it difficult for them to place the items, oh and home depot does not offer bags they just give you a thin paper bag for your heavy stuff, not all of us owns a car some of us use public transportation, now imagine how hard and difficult this must be, another thing finding a cart in the store is a hazle good luck finding one or taking one from the workers,a one star for the uncomfortable experience
If you planning to make Online Orders, dont even try it. Because even if the order says that is Delivered the store wont have it ready for you to pick it up and if you call them and ask about it. They will tell that they dont have information of when will that order be ready for you to pick it up.
They always have an Out of Service sign on the wood cutting machines, that is until they are met with a guest that they actually dont mind cutting the wood for. Then, (miraculously) it returns to service mode. And, if you actually see them answering questions and performing their customer service duties- it is SELECTIVE. God help you if they see you waiting to have your question answered next. You get nothing but eye rolls or frowns. Then, they still attempt to walk away as fast as they can, even though they saw you waiting 5 minutes or more to get assistance. Most times you are walking around the store playing a life size game of Frogger trying to catch a floor person to get help; as they see you coming towards them, they duck and dodge you from isle to isle. In the end you have spent almost 1 hour or more in the store and wind up leaving with nothing.To be fair, at least the cashiers and the older African American sales lady in hardware, seem to be the only component employees.
I went to ATTEMPT to copy of a key at this location. The machines requires a store worker to man the machine so me and my partner looked for one. He told us to go to another worker about two aisles over and just walked off. When we went to the other employee she had a very nasty attitude and said quite rudely “there’s 5 people ahead of you I’m not the only person that knows how to work the machine.”. I tried to ask her is there someone else I can go to because it seems like not every employee is trained to use the machine and she just barked “I can’t help you right now so either you can wait until I’m done with the other people or find someone else.” Me and my partner left the store empty handed and highly upset because not only did we not get what we came for, we were treated HORRIBLY. We won’t be returning to Home Depot and will support smaller hardware stores instead.
Theres no real help at this location. The guy that I wanted assistance with getting a large piece of wood cut for my platform bed wasnt helpful and made me feel rushed like I was bothering him. I just walked out and decided I woukd go to a lumber yard. Customer service at many of the home depots that I have been to is just horrific!
What happened to the professionals and experts in specific areas. GONE.. the female at paint counter was so very busy with her cell phone she could not answer my question. The male in the construction area insisted on telling the uses of an item, but would not listen to me explain a number of times that I was using the item.for something else. I got nowhere, a wasted trip.

I love home depot but I must say, the floor staff is not as helpful especially toward women shoppers. Theyre always busy or busy trying to get away. Sometimes when you ask for help, theyll point you in the right direction and thats it, good luck finding what you need in those huge isles. Its pretty frustrating. But as far as them having great stuff, yes theyll probably have exactly what you need. Good luck finding it.
Back to back poor experiences at this location. Came a few months ago to purchase air conditioning (>30 in stock in store according to site). None on floor. Frustrated since I had to pay for parking at this location, I spoke to multiple associates to help me find the item. Most of them were had no idea how to help, but they eventually found them in the overstock which they had bring down. Spent more than an hour for 1 item.Today, I went to purchase a simple wall light (16 in stock). Similarly, none on the floor. After finally finding someone to help, they also found them in the overhead which they needed to bring down. I waited about 30 min for them to come bring it down but no one came (even though there were workers scattered throughout the store). Don’t recommend this location, especially if you are in a tight timeline. Gunhill location is much much better.
Online order delayed, then lied to that they attempted delivery (after calling them out on the lie, they changed the excuse to the delivery people not picking up the items) refused the reschedule to an appropriate time, and said I could pick it up on Christmas (when theyre closed, until I reminded them)I was also hung up on before when calling them prior when my order was running late. GO ELSEWHERE

Large selection of tools and home improvement stuff. Staff is very limited. Self checkout lanes are always down and they have like 2 registers open with very long lines. If I do find a staff to help, they have no idea what Im talking about. Unfortunately I have to go out of my way to another Home Depot.Went there today March 16 2022 to find a specific machine screw. I asked an associate who then pointed me in the aisle I still couldnt find it. I asked another associate who told me to look in drywall and I said its a machine screw and he told me to have a seat somewhere and someone will be over here, no one came and I asked for a manager who did try to find it with me but was overwhelmed with everyone asking her for help and then she was calling someone for 15min on the walkie.Next time Ill just order online or go to another Home Depot
You go to this store and you cant find anyone to help you! If you do find them they dont want to help!!! Busy looking at their watch or chatting with their fellow workers. Frustrating to go to this store! Its definitely a big difference between Home Depot in Florida and New York!
It was alright. I cant brag being that the lines were long and when it was finally my turn a guy just stepped up to be next. I told him the line is over there and the associate at the register told him to stay put that shell ring him up next. Not fair but I made sure he waited after me. 🤨🤨🤨
This is by far THE WORST HOME DEPOT IVE EVER BEEN TO AND I WILL NO LONGER SHOP HERE. From there always ridiculously long lines, horrible customer service, and lack of a basic necessity SHOPPING CARTS!! I think they get away with this because of the area that they are in. I see this all the time in low income areas these types of stores seem to not care when people inform them of their bad experiences so we as customers need to do our part and simply stop shopping here. When they start loosing money is ONLY WHEN these things will change because without us the consumer THE STORE WOULDNT EXIST..SMH
Went in to buy supplies for a big floor job. I had asked 2 of their employees if they could get me the pallet wrapped w other supplies. They got someone else to help me who got someone else to help me who then got someone else to help me.2 young dominican guys who Then said no and walked away just to keep joking around . had to find someone else to help who made it sound like rocket science.
Sure a horrible store. The staff is not helpful at all. I was in the store for over 40 min waiting for someone to help me in flooring and not one single person helped, everyone was too busy engaging in personal and inappropriate conversations. Next time I rather just drive to Lowe’s in NJ they have super helpful staff that’s always willing to help.
I only came to leave a review specifically for Marlon, who helped us out when we came looking for vinyl tile. Not only did he offer friendly and useful advice about our process of laying the tile, he went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for when another associate had told us that the product was unavailable. He completely made our night and saved the day!!! Thank you Marlon!!!!!
Both of the in store saws were broken and have been for quite some time. It is hindering my ability to do my job. I cant fit whole sheets of material in my buildings elevator so I get them cut into more manageable pieces in the store. Without that option so many of my projects are put on hold. Ugh!
The employees in the tool rental department are amazing. they are extremely knowledgeable Great customer service, and very helpful. I rented a grinder HD didnt have any blades and Greg went to his car and gave me one of his own it was used but it got the job done. Thanks again Greg you the best.
On Sunday, May 24, I visited Home Depot in search of a door sweep. Jay from the hardware department was phenomenal! I asked him where I could find it and if he could help me pick one out. He immediately leaded me to the section and he did not leave until we were sure that I had the right match for my door! While he was helping me a frantic and aggressive woman began yelling at him stating that she needed help and she began threatening him by complaining to his manager. Jay handled the situation with the utmost professionalism, letting the patron know that he would help her as soon as he was finished with me. It was not enough, this woman kept yelling and screaming threats.Here at this store you can rest easy with the employees and staff, the patrons however can be very aggressive. The store needs security agents to help get rid of patrons, like this woman, who become a threat to other customers and employees.
Ordered an item online from this location for delivery. Either an employee at the store or their third party delivery service stole the item and claimed it was delivered. It took hours on the phone with multiple reps to get reimbursed. Avoid this HD location if you can.
Attitude is horrible employees dont know nothing i went to find a washer for kitchen faucet and the worker in the department didnt know what a washer was. Secondly i went to get a paint wood color and the worker gets a attitude telling me i should had known the color before hand.employees are always playing on the phones.
Usually the products are pretty good and are sold for a reasonable price, but a big problem at the Home Depot are their Christmas trees. They are always so dry and they tend to shed more than Christmas trees sold in other places. If you are planning to buy a Christmas tree there, you have my warning.
As the store is quite large and contains many, many aisles, it would be nice if the staff knew the correct aisles to direct you to. If you dont know where to send me, simply say I dont know. I prefer that than to run around 20 aisles down and its not even close to containing what Im looking for.
Most of the time I’ve found what I’m looking for. But the long is always too long for no reason. They have only 3 registers open, they have more registers and self checkout but we can’t use the self checkout ourself? An employee will be there at the self checkout doing it for you. So why have an self checkout if we can’t use it? Also it’s hard to find an employee maybe cuz they are in an aisle talking to each other. Open up more registers / self checkout and it wouldn’t be a long line.
I order a refrigerator for my mother and i wait almost to months for the delivery never came they never call me the first time. The second time for the delivery the refrigerator was damage I don’t know why they never call me i call them. Very bad service. Don’t buy nothing here.
No self checkout option. Only 1 or 2 cash counter is a available. Most of the hardware is misplaced. Closet accessories are misplaced or empty.It take 30 minutes to get to the cash counter. The line is way too long. Goes around the entire store. Not worth coming to the store at all.
Normally I do not waste time for these reviews. but this is the worst experience online order. Do not buy items from this store using express delivery. you may miss items and you have to spend tons of times to just contact them and make understanding those who work in the department. I have contacted them 7 times, still I did not refund or reshipping the items. you will loose the express shipping fee.
I want to say THANK YOU to the manager Michelle, she was totally awesome from the time I called through pick up of my online order. In the middle of chaos she was calm and made sure everything was working smoothly around her. I have never shopped at this Home Depot before because of the location, but she made my trip there super easy. Thank you again Michelle.
Horrible experience, none of the employees asked me if I needed help. And when I ask someone for help they will say the guy with the apron then I approach that person he will say oh this isnt my section. Finally found someone she said oh this is all we have because I went in for Christmas tree and left they even tried to explain the types of tree because she didnt know much. Basically I didnt on my own found an employee to get me a tree. It was just a weird experience in a retail store. Floor manager you trained their employees how to provide customers service
I love this place its totally amazing to me or even the people who love you and want you have a full life and you want it for me and I want you have a full day and I will be happy to help you to come by and pick up your location from your house in a few days ago I would love you for that you can be there around that I can get a better deal on it if I dont have a good idea about what to expect from you and the fact you have to be a little more flexible about what is the right thing for me and I can give it a shot at the same thing I did.
I just bought my washer/dryer from there as well as smaller things for my home. The staff at both the appliance order station and the registers were so helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We were joking around with them and just had a very pleasant experience!
Emily in the storage shelf department gave me excellent customer service. She went out of her way to assist me. I experienced the utmost professional treatment from every team member that I came I contact with. I will definitely return to this location the next time I have a home related need.
I ordered an appliance for next day shipping between 6am and 10am. 10:30am rolled around and nothing had been delivered, so I called the store and was informed that they sent my order to another store to be fulfilled and it would not be delivered until the next day. I did not receive an email or call to inform me of the delay/change in the order. If Im dropping hundreds of dollars on a package, Id like to know were it is.
It seems this Home Depot is short staffed always, which makes the experience difficult. However, the pleasant part is that the staff is actually very helpful despite their loads of work as a result of Their lack of employees on the floor. I recently made a few trips to Home Depot and on one occasion lasted about 5 hours due to a problem with floor pricing. The pricing of the laminate flooring I had began my project with was different online and in other stores, Since this location was out of them, the difference in pricing drastically changed my renovations budget. I was fortunate to be helped by a few representatives and two managers, Harold and Leo. They were fantastic, professional and helpful in guiding and assisting me to a resolution. So although my over all experience could have been better, because none wants to stand in an isle or search for an employee for 30 mins for help, when the help came, they made up for wait!
Please do not place online orders from this store they have very bad customer service and won’t give you a refund if you don’t go in person to the store.I place and order 6 days ago for express delivery they told be will be deliver on Monday and marked and shipped and nobody showed up to the location when I call them back they said will give me $45 dollars compensation and delivery will show up at 9AM next day Tuesday and is 3:45PM today and they just told me they can do anything and I need to go to the store to get my money back. If you are and contractor please make sure you clear of this before you order anything because this store will damage your business day.
Had everthing i needed, just you cant find anyone to help find the items you need.It took a extra 30-45mins. Just to get help ,find item..they need to hire more customer service personnel..Also ,one of the young ladies that work to help people on line purchase items was very rudeyoung african american or spanish young girl..sorry couldnthave a name..
Was attended by a very sweetie young supervisor at Custumer Service Department and she went to the area of screens to verify if you had in stock, because no one was picking up the phone. The person with who my daughter talk on the phone wrote that I was going to pick them tomorrow November 10 and that was wrong was today. Excellent service by that young girl. Very satisfied with the service she provided me
This is a late review but I am still in the process buying what I need to change the look of my apartment. I have bought alot paint there many times most times the colors you choose are mixed well other times it is not and is very watery. They will tell you they are out of a color which you know is untrue because they have to mix the colors. The staff there are a bit strange not very communicative but oh well. I do enjoy the self check out but I do not enjoy the troll who stands by close by you as if you are going to run out of the store with heavy buckets of paint without paying very uncomfortable and akward. I literally had to ask why are you standing so close? Do you think Im going to steal? I am now in the process of choosing new flooring and may just order online because getting a cab there is a bit unorganized. Though I didnt enjoy shopping there at that particular time hopefully when I return they will have more properly trained staff to assist you with large purchases. I really love the paint color I purchased from Home Depot that was mixed well looking forward to buying faux wood flooring and replacing some lighting and fixtures also installing jacuzzi tub soon.
Consistently the store least likely to have what you need.Equipment is broken and you cant always get things cut to order, i.e., customer service.If you call ahead you are likely to talk to someone who doesnt really want to talk to you.Cashiers are nice though.However, Ill be going somewhere else / anywhere else from now on.
Ive done in store pickup in the past and never had an issue. Until I decided to purchase from the Home Depot on 600 Exterior Street in The Bronx. Absolutely horrible experience, my order was never filled after 2 days. I tried to call the customer service at the store the phone just rang. After several attempts someone picked up never said hello, put my on hold where I waited for 15 minutes before hanging up. Needless to say I canceled my order, found the exact same item at Lowes where I had no problems. Home Depot overall is a great store, but this location needs improvement.
Its always well organized. Staff can actually be found most of the time. Theres a lot of traffic here from professional laborers which tells me its a good location to come by. I havent really needed customer service aside from paint mixing and key making, but those have always been consistently good. Always coming back.
I had an excellent experience at this Home Depot. The staff was very friendly and helped me to get a refund that I needed when I was sent the wrong product from an online purchase. I also received help to find a very specific and hard to find electrical part by a helpful and friendly staff member. I used the self-checkout area and was in and out of Home Depot in less than 30 minutes. The store was very clean and organized and my overall experience was very good.
I remember much better times at home depot. All that has changed , prices used be lower , selections good, store well stocked , customer service great, none of that now. I visited store to pick up items I ordered on line and I might as well just did regular shopping it took such a long time. Even though I had an invoice they could not find my goods on the computer and agent liked overburden trying to process customers. A waste I looking to alternate place to shop.
My experience with bx location I have problems buying the same item double side rug tape their price goes up and down at random. So I just go to 59th and lex their price for same item never changes . Thanks to 59th street location I can still buy my tape at its actual price.
This location surprisingly offered the best customer service. From the moment I walked in the staff got me a cart. I went to pick up windows. They called out for pick ups and I was skipped. I felt like a movie star! Everyone was professional and polite such a great experience for the Bronx. One guy even helped me put my windows on top of the car and refused my tip. I shoved it in his apron because it was the least I could do.Thank you! I was beginning to lose faith in humanity. Thank you to the team there today. May God Bless you!!!
More employees are needed here!!! You had better come in knowing what you want and where to find it in this store. Ive even been on hold for 15 minutes over the phone. You will wander around and wait a very long time before you find anyone who isnt already helping someone else. Pros: they cut wood & they have a good variety of brands and styles of most items.
7/10/20 Home depot was open during the lockdown, it provided a relief, unfortunately I was too scared of starting any project. I have chosen my tile for my floors and bringing samples home I think this will THE FLOOR!! Third is charm! I using my American Express rewards to pay for the materials!!!
I dont shop at Home Depot. In my opinion theyve been a second-rate hardware warehouse for a decade. Ive grown to not expect much customer service in the NYC metro area, it comes with the territory. However Home Depot lowers the bar even further. Associates actively avoiding eye contact, giving flippant and uninterested responses to queries... and sometimes flat-out making an about face and jogging away from you! (Im not exaggerating, happened at Mill Basin a year ago). The only reason I was here today is because they had EXACTLY what I wanted and the location was close to my job. A few minutes inside and i realize that not much had changed. This may be a NYC area problem, as most national chains are better outside our borders. However thats no excuse for lack of customer service from people who are supposed to specialize in it.
Got to Home Depot l knew exactly what I wanted ?? I could not find it .. One of the service people there assisted me ..until recently I thought what I was using was sufficient not knowing that advancements have been made to date??? Especially on what I wanted This young man who was assisting me put me on what is up to date everything works perfectly... I was living in the past and he brought me into the future thank you Home Depot for being very very astuteto my needs.They take the time to listen and help in ways that I had no idea would work...
Loved it. They actually took responsibility and santized each shopping cart and even mopped the floors. I brought my own lysol to spray on the shopping cart,and the lady told me to use the alcohol the store had provided because she didnt want me to waste my lysol as she knows its hard to find. So yes 5 stars for that employee☺
My review is for both the floor installation team as well as the in store customer service. We had a tech call and say theyd be arriving between 5 to 6pm and he showed up at 1pm when no one was home. We attempted to reschedule for a second time and had the same issue. Luckily they did refund me. However when going to the store to pick up storage bins we had to ask three different people to help to get a top to the bin on the higher shelf. One just walked off when we asked for help so we ended up using the yellow ladder ourselves and climbing the damn shelf to get what we needed. Your store couldve made good money on a renovation project but your incompetency prevented you from doing so.
I purchased some items online and was surprised to hear that they have lockers to facilitate pick-up. I was provided a code for pick-up before hand and made things so sinple... its fast and convenient...When I got stuck because it was the first time using the lockers a friendly customer service rep. walked up to me and made things even easier... thank you H.D. your service has improved a great deal keep it up. Ill definitely be back and make your location my primary stop for home supplies.
I came here looking for a Christmas tree, I live in Washington heights and within a 5 block radius theres about 4 Christmas tree stands lined up on the streets with out annual Christmas tree vendors that come from afar. I was just going to purchase a tree from one of these stands, but the trees were going for $20 per foot and extra if its plump, I like tall trees so that wouldve totalled to anywhere between$120-160. I had doubts about the pricing, and googled where I could purchase real trees, Home Depot came up. Theyre selection was pretty good and I found a 5-6 ft Balsam For for under $30. I know where to come back next Christmas. You just look around, pick and the guy tending to that department takes care of the rest while you go Inside to pay for your purchase.
I would like to be able to walk in the store and have enough notice posted such that I can locate my item with relative ease. Sometimes, its a little difficult finding a client associate to assist you in the store although I happen to find someone who I believe was on lunch and she gladly assisted me. Thanks.
The home depot at Yankee stadium would often not have all the stuff that I need. If it wasnt for the helpful services of the manager Harold, I would probably be going to Lowes. He is very professional and is always up to the challenge of making it right. He should be promoted to a higher position. Then you add JP to the mix. Very good man and very helpful. Run!!!! Negative stars if possible.This is a nightmare of incompetence. Management is antagonistic and totally unskilled.2 months aNd the exterior street store failed to follow through the directive of corporate customer service to fix an order that Home Depot botched.Repeated calls, repeated not being called back. Repeated hour long waits on hold were actually better than speaking to management which made the situation much, much worse.
If I could give them zero stars I would. This location always has a huge disorganized mess and can never find anything even when the site states it has it in stock. Barley any staff in the isles and when you are able to locate someone they are not knowledgeable or state this is not my department Ill try to find you someone who is and never do. I have frequently visit this location because of convenience but I would rather travel much further to get better service. The checkout process is very long and always has lines and not enough registers in operation items are covered in dust and grime and ripped open out of there packages. Karts all over the store packed with random items that are not on shelves. The mess is unbearable and am very displeased, especially since I am a tradesmen. Go elsewhere if possible.
The worst customer service. Some employees are negligent and poorly trained. Some employees are not able to provide good service. I went with my mother looking for some products there were no one to help me in the aisles where the tiles at so Walking through the store looking for for help I found a associate working in the paint section and I asked for help since is the only one I saw, thank god he spoke Spanish so that way my mother could feel comfortable and could express herself comfortably,the young man politely agreed to help us his name is Eury, he was been nice explaining everything we need and directing us to the right place and while we where passing by the appliance sección a young woman who works there called Justina pursued us practically throughout the store accusing the young man of not doing his job. the young woman presented herself with a rude attitude and later referring to us with derogatory words and accusing eury that he was not doing his job that all he was doing was literally sexual harassing us, It is not positive for a store to have employees that are deficient like that, eury did a great job keeping the calm because i wouldn’t work in a store having a coworker like that, I spoke with the assistant manager call German and I explain everything and I didn’t see him with a attitude to do something about was happening and I just left the shopping card with the merchandise even though I need them but this store with this type of management don’t deserve the money I’m spending, I would never come back to this store, all of this happened in “july 13,2019” between the time 8:50 to 9:30 pm . I hope this get to the high management. Thank u.
For the longest time there are so many department stores that offer amazing customer service...This is not of them. I cant just ask for a Rice cooker without 4 employees, telling me to go to 4 different aisles. It took a 5th employee to let me know that didnt actually have any left. Not recommending and most certainly avoiding in the future.
The new self checkout lanes are almost unbearable. Theyre very slow, and theres no indication of where to start a waiting line so people bunch up (blocking the aisle) and go when they feel its their turn. The staff monitoring them do nothing to alleviate these issues, and are rude when you ask for help scanning unusual items w/out barcodes.
This is the go to place when your buying anything for your home/apartment. You can find anything from floor tiles to lights fixtures, home appliances to kitchen cabinets and everything in between. The prices are good, the staff members are helpful. I highly recommend this place.
Its home depot, love it here. I am a fan, I just wish this place would cut the lumber. I asked someone if they could cut a few strips of wood for me and I was told they couldnt so I had no other option but to scrap my project as I am very small and couldnt figure out how to carry a longboard out of the store.Other than that, its what youd expect out of a hardware store.
The online order pickup process easily takes thrice as long as leisurely browsing the store and making your purchases in person, while eating a sandwich, and texting friends. The line is long, the pickup desk is understaffed, and the order is always in the other room. When the order finally makes its way to the pickup desk its inevitably missing several pieces, but they will try to convince you that its all there even though you know how to count and read and see. A horribly inconvenient shopping experience!
This was a very frustrating shopping trip. They did not have carts available.I was told to go to the parking lot and look for one because people steal them they dont have enough. The manager told me that he was going to get someone to help me but no one showed up. Finding someone on the floor willing and able to assist me was another challenge. I will not visit this store again. They do not seem to understand what customer service is about.
The worst home depot , I ve ever shopped in, the staff doesnt do or know anything, they stand around with one of the managers named deelio ordering food while guest are waiting/ trying to get assistant, the ppl i see working r the employees at the paint station, the rest should be fired and a whole new well trained/ professional staff be brought in
I rarely review anything, but this place deserves a review. I placed an order for express delivery, for context I rescued a small pet from a horrific situation and needed to make a makeshift cage while the pet was healing. I express delivery ordered a large sterilite bin, some wire mesh and cutters for the wire. I ordered this on 5/27 (memorial day I know but I was panicked). I paid an extra $11 for it to be delivered on Tuesday 5/28 from 2-6pm, I took the day off of work in order to be home for this. WELL, after being on hold with the store for over an hour, and simultaneously chatting with a representative on their site I finally got an email that they rescheduled my delivery to Wednesday 5/29. I wasnt going to be able to take another day, so I had to wait an additional 30 minutes on hold to reschedule the deliver through the store. Once I did, the woman who I spoke to was very rude, unapologetic and generally didnt care. I ended up rescheduling the delivery anyways as I needed these items ASAP and could not go out to a store to purchase + lug home on public transit. Anyway to try and make a long story shorter, my delivery was 2+ hours late AND they delivered the sterilite bin without the lid! NO LID ON THE STORAGE BIN I PURCHASED ~ THAT MAKES THE BIN USELESS! I then called customer service AGAIN, and explained the situation. He stated they were out of the lids, and there werent going to be anymore in the store until Monday. In this case I would need to go to the store on Monday and pick up the lid myself (WHICH DEFEATS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF PAYING AN EXTRA $11 TO HAVE SOMETHING DELIVERED). I explained this is not an option for me, so he stated he could partially refund me for the bin, and then HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and was placed on hold for ANOTHER HOUR, and finally gave up in this long saga... Im not picky, I dont complain often, I used to work in retail ~ I get it. But this is absolutely INSANE, please do not support this store nor this location! Go to your local hardware store instead, this place is TRASH!
My apartment lock broke just before this Home Depot was closing. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and when I ask a employee if they could get me the lock which was stored away she told me there weren’t any left. I then looked online to see if she was telling the truth and of course she was Lying. There were 29 of same lock I needed! Almost every one of the staff members have attitudes and the ones that don’t unfortunately will be judged as if they did. Moral of the story is don’t go to Home Depot in the Bronx if you want to be treated fairly.
Id rate this place 0 stars... I like Home Depot & never thought Id visit such a awful version of the store. One can hardly find anyone to help you, & when you do, they dont seem interested in assisting you. And the items are all over the place (what a mess). When we finally found a group of workers, they were hanging out, laughing, without a care in the world... Ill never go to this location again.We left and went to the OTHER HD in the Bronx on Bruckner Blvd & Brush Avenue, which I HIGHLY recommend!! The staff @ Bruckner Blvd are GREAT! And if they dont have what you need, theyll help you as best they can.
This review is not geared at Home Depot in a whole because I have experienced professionalism in other branches. Unfortunately, I am doing a project with this hell hole of incompetence. It has been a month with nothing but lies and managers passing the buck to one another and the client with a purchase of over $5k incomplete. Corporate has been sent an email, lets see how that goes however I still not have received my paid merchandise or the promised phone call.
This store is horrible. On March 29th I got robbed inside the store by the paint desk, & no one helped. First they didnt want to look at the cameras, then they supposedly said the cameras dont point to anything (when there are about 4-5 security cameras in that area) we waited for about 6 hours before the so called security came out to tell us they didnt even call the cops. Obviously, they dont care about their paying customers, or what happens to them while in their store. It was horrible security and customer service. Such a disgrace.
Nice, clean and well organized, however the selection and variety of items in stock physically in the store is just average. And tho most stores are keeping less and less items in-store that doesnt excuse Home Depot in any way.... Also because of the location of this particular Home Depot, (basement, sub- basement level) deep within the Bronx Terminal Market complex, it is extremely difficult to get any phone network service inside the most areas of the site.....I think because of this they should provide reliable and stable WiFi coverage throughout the entire store.... customer service and checkout was a pleasant enough experience and they do provide customer restrooms which were fairly well maintained. It was a bit confusing how to find the correct exit that you want to leave from but parking is plentiful ($3 for All day or up to 12 hours, I think). 3.5 ☆ out of 5.

2022-01-04Visited the garden center and bought a tall palm tree for $30. Lots of variety. The store carries many home essentials, tools and home building pieces. Cabs outside can drive you home locally for ~$10

2022-07-03Very spacious and lots of workers that are glad to help. Self check out is a disaster as their is no established rule for line up but overall, very resourceful. First Saturday of every month, they have a kids workshop and my nephew had a blast. Definitely recommend 10/10

2022-06-07I had an amazing experience today with the help of Teddy, he went over and behind to help me get exactly what I came in to shop for, first I asked for floor sealer, then windows screens, copy of keys and a fridge ( Keith - in a wheeler 💙 did an amazing job in assisting with my purchase with the fridge, their team work helped find the location of the fridge and I was super happy and satisfied. They cared about my exact wants and made the sale happen. Teddy definitely has potential for a management position, he will do very well. 2022-05-08They did not have the specialty light bulb I need for my lava lamp in stock. However, this is Home Depot, a place I love to browse the isles and be inspired to tackle DIY projects. So of course, I left the store with a backpack full of things I did not know I needed.Easy to access location, Not too busy, easy self checkout, and knowledgeable support team.

2022-05-09We bought a washer from your store ..I live in Atlanta but it was a Mothers Day gift for my mom who lives in NY,unfortunately the washer was not functioning to the standards of my somewhat complicated mom..J.B..and Liz where amazing at how they handled the return process. I know now,that we Still provide amazing Customer Service in NYC,despite the stereotypes because of these ladies,they definitely reminded me we do. Thank you !

2022-06-06My Sink needed a new faucet and pipes for the drain,the pipes old and crumbling. I needed all supplies for the repair that day. I needed help and advice I had to get the parts to help speed up the job Thank Goodness for a Smart helpful young lady Named Elizabeth. Elizabeth got me the pipes & was as patient as a Nun while I picked out a faucet. Thanks again for the quick & knowledgeable help. 5 stars for Elizabeth in plumbing.

2022-04-14As previously stated I hate this Homedepot. They have horrible and I said it freaking miserable customer service. I ordered materials to complete a home project and was notified my order was ready for pickup. I get there, I provided my proof of purchase and order confirmation and Im told I have to wait. No problem. I go to hardware, pay for my additional items and return to pickup. My order still isnt ready. So, after wasting 30 plus minutes I instructed the cashier to cancel my order. Thank you for trying.
