Staff was very nice. I was there looking for flooring. The staff found the flooring , got it off the top shelf with fork lift and loaded on cart in under 15 minutes. I was impressed with how friendly and efficiently they worked. The staff even checked me out in the flooring department so i did not have to go await in line in the front of the store. Great experance today at this home depot. The parking lot id large. The store is a little tricky to get to but it gets easier to find each time.
Went to home depot yesterday praying that they have real trees for a decent price. Because word was on the news this years artificial tree and live trees would come at a price . Last year live tree wasnt the greatest of picks . This year a company from Canada let me just say the selection is fantastic, their were people from the company at the home Depot site on the Hutchinson Pkwy. You can still find beautiful trees , live wreaths, poinsettias for tables, patio , and entryways. For very reasonable prices . Im going back to get a yuletide log and wreath.
This is my second review of this Home Depot. Surprisingly this store has gotten even better than ever! New technology is taking over and Home Depot is in the middle of it. The prices cant be beat. We brought a kitchen ceiling light 13 inches round for $13.00. Today they had the Makita cordless 20volt mini vacuum cleaner for $99.00. At the counter there is no waiting, again technology to the rescue, a worker is there and scans your purchases and then you pay at the register. Its a snap.
The store is fairly low key, I can sometimes find what Im looking for, but the layout is a bit confusing and the staff dont always give the most concise directions. I have to then rely on my mediocre sense of direction or try and use the highly inaccurate app (Which is actually worse than the staff because most of the time the inventory is either out of stock or in a different location entirely). Overall the store is a cavernous mess of construction supplies, wood, and lighting fixtures. I dont have too many complaints though because this is the only place for these specific items.
Beware of the employee in the photo I posted. He is not only willing to fight a customer but ready to fight a woman customer. His name is Charles, D28 is his employee ID. On this day, today, he was standing by the back exit checking receipts. This person is looking for trouble and will jump at the chance for any sort of confrontation but will refuse to offer or provide help if he is asked. He is rude with a really nasty disposition and I advise any and everyone to double the social distance rules if you come into contact with him. He’s a loose cannon and should be considered dangerous and kept away from the general public. I very kindly asked him to watch my lumber cart for 2 minutes so I could put my elderly father into my car as he was tired, in some pain and was very agitated. My father wanted to leave and I needed to get him out of there. Charles replied “I can’t guarantee it’s going to be there when you get back”. I was surprised by that answer but again stated I would only be 2 minutes, just going into the lot to escort my father into my car. He again said he could not guarantee it will be there. pretty much telling me he would not secure my merchandise for me. I’d been there for over an hour getting wood for shelving cut and I didn’t want to take the chance of anyone taking the lumber cart, thinking it was abandoned. If you’ve ever needed a lumber cart at Home Depot, you know they are hard to get your hands on. So, I said fine, then I’ll take it with me and come back and pay for it and I told him he could follow me if he wanted to. I was going to secure my own merchandise,,,,inside the store. I never left the store, since I couldn’t get assistance from Charles. Now, this is when he woke up and was ready to attack. He marched over to me, grabbed the lumber cart and said I can’t let you leave with this cart. He actually tussled with me over the cart. I pulled the cart and he was pulling it as well, he put his foot on it and was ready for a fight. The irony of all of this is that I asked him to perform a simple function that required no physical energy or any energy at all really,,, and he refused... but when he saw an opportunity to be combative, he was more than willing to participate. I then asked him for his manager, he yelled at me “I’m the manager!” I yelled back, “ there is no way you’re a manager behaving the way you’re behaving” And of course he was lying because someone went to get the actual manager. As the manager, Pablo, approached me, he could see I was upset and I asked him, are you the manager, he said yes, I then asked if Charles was a manger, he said Charles was one of his supervisors...but if you’re in service and a customer asks to speak with the manager, you get the manager,,, you don’t lie and say that you’re the manager... anyway, as I was explaining what had just happened, upset obviously, my father was still there, he is now even more aggravated...Charles presence was not needed, but he was still hanging around and yelling and acting crazy,,, even in front of his manager!!! I told Charles to go away, he wouldn’t, I called him a “b*#ch”, yes I know it wasn’t the most mature thing to do but at the moment, it just came out as he continued to escalate the situation... Charles turned his head as other workers were trying to force him to leave the area,,, he was resistant .. he wanted to stay and fight..., so he turned his head and he said “bitch?” ,he then proceeded to aggressively approach me as if he was going to strike me, he lunged toward me, his coworkers and manager had to hold him back and literally drag him away...as he was verbalizing threats at me. If they were not there I believe he would have physically attacked me. They had to hold him back... can you imagine? I can’t believe someone, especially at work, in a customer oriented job at that... would behave that way. this could have been avoided and it was unnecessary. Home Depot needs to evaluate the people they hire a little better. Charles should not be working a job like this one with the outlook he has toward customers.
I was impressed at this home Depot as gentleman in the plumbing department sorry that I didnt get his name was it the most helpful home Depot associate that I have had in many many years. He actually took the time to find what I was looking for and when we found it was not in the store although it showed on me website and then go through the store and find where they had put it. It was water heater that I desperately needed and due to the flooding in our area have been very scarce in every store store. I use multiple different home depots all the time and luckily that I did work there 20 years ago I do know layout and had to find what I need because the help has been terrible and has diminished so much over the years Ive had to find my own way. Ive even had associates run away and make up excuses when I asked them for help. The best was I only work here. But much appreciation to the gentleman and the plumbing aisle on Sunday today
I shopped at this store on 6/5/21 for plumbing supplies to repair a leak under kitchen sink. There is a worker named Angel in plumbing who deserves I feel to be commended. He helped me every step of the way . I usually have to return to the store at least 1 time to get something I forgot or doesnt fit. With his help I got everything I needed and perfect fit first time. When its time for a pay increase give. Angel a big one.
If you do not want to be in a customer service job then why take the job in customer service.Came in there to talk about replacing all appliances and and consult about kitchen cabinets. They could care less.I guess they wanted me to spend a few thousand somewhere else. Maybe they don’t earn a small commission @HomeDepot.I really don’t understand the logic in going in and having questions & concerns about a big purchase like this and not being able to have a normal conversation.I will be back to make smaller purchases, but will save the big $ purchases somewhere else.
I have been shopping at this store for over 4 years and I dont like that you have to pay for parking. You would think that the store would have valey parking, but it doesnt. Another thing is that I have noticed that a lot of the merchandise is re-packaged as if previously opened. I have heard that this particular store is sort of a hub for returned items from other stores, dont know how true that is.
I’ve a horrible experience with this store, the employee was super rude. I was waiting there for half an hour for cutting a board but the guys he just ignore me like I’m a headache for him. He basically talking with his colleagues and cleaning a shelf instead of helping customers….😢😢😢😢😢 I was late for pickup my daughter from school but finally I didn’t get any response from them….!!!!
Found Jorge in plumbing to be helpful in recommending a user friendly drain snake. As well as Jasmine and the rep in hardware who pointed me in the right direction. Had a nice shopping experience for the 2 hrs i was there.:) JUST NEED TO CLEAN THE WATER FOUNTAIN NEAR GARDENING
Pretty much organized. Workers dont know where things are at. They look lost and clueless...They Kept sending me to other employees to find out where things are at. Is like they started working there today... They need to up their game, have training and meetings with the employees on the regular. Keep them up to date, so they can take care of the customers.
I like coming to this Home Depot. I always find the item i need. There is always someone to guy you to find the items you need if you dont know where the are. There is always free parking and one finds shopping cart all the time either inside the store or scattered at the parking lot, if there are none by the store main entrance.One of the main reasons for me coming to Home Depot is that one can always return unneeded items, no question ask.
Love the majority of tools n equipments there. Lots of help with any question, good customer service although I started off bad with 1 but we got to handle that with ease & I appreciate the guy finding a way to calm me the f down, 😆.. good experience good place to shop.
Its nice to have a home depot in this area. Sometimes these small mom and pop hardware stores dont carry certain things and Amazon delivery for me can be tricky so to have home depot is good. My only issue is that last time I went the line seemed ridiculously long and it was a Wednesday afternoon. I cant imagine what the weekends are like. This could possibly due to corona though.
I ordered some moving mats and was told it was in stock at the store I purchased.Then website emailed and updated my order to being shipped to the store from another location the following week and after waiting a week my order was canceled because they didnt have it. I had to go in person to the store and purchase the same mats at a higher price individually packaged instead of the bulk pack I had ordered online.
This place is a great place! Its massive, extremely spacious, and smells like sawdust everywhere, which I love. Their selection of foliage is awesome. Just wish they had some large money trees! We had gotten paint today, and the staff was super helpful, and efficient! On our self checkout line, one of the staffers was super helpful and pleasant. The photos are indicating that the lights may be better to blink for when the customers need assistance, rather than just having the registers say we need help. Its loud, and busy! Which, is what the company wants. Prices are usually on par with what the products are. The lines move fast. Their selection of cleaning materials is good. They didnt really have toilet paper, but that was OK. I loved their detergent selection.The reason for the 2 stars...we needed to get some wood cut. Today, we had waited over 34 minutes after the person in the department came back from break. How do we know? A fellow associate had said the cutter was on break, and to wait online until they were available, in roughly 15 minutes. So, we discussed about velcro for 15 minutes. Afterwards, we proceeded in the area. Keep in mind the massiveness of the store. Because of this, my body was drained so I sat down on some wood while we waited. During the 34 minutes, the intercom stated 3 departments to meet at customer service, twice. I assume for a post meeting after break time. There was already a line. I was super drained so I couldnt move. I was conversating but was going to call the store to see where the cutter was. The couple behind us walked to customer service, and walked back over with the cutter. Mind you, customer service called for the cutter twice, then several more times after to head over to the department. After the couple came back with the cutter, he started working on their project first. The couple stated we were here before them, but he proceeded anyway. Out of energy, he dealt with the couple rather quickly...45 minutes had passed already before we had our turn. The associate himself was rather charming, and did his work well. However, it was the mete presentation of not being in his department and not taking care of the order in line on a first come, first serve basis that through the score so low. Also, he wasnt wearing goggles! :( poor guy, what if something could have happened?
Floor people in the various sections were great, however, those stationed by the self checkout were inattentive. I had trouble with the checkout and I had to call several times to t bgg e employee who was just feets away. To add insult to injury bags provided had no handles and I had quite a few items. I forgot to bring my own bag.
I placed an order online for store pickup. 2 of the 3 items were wrong. When I asked the cashier at customer service if the item I originally ordered was in stock. She told me she didnt know. She completed the return of wrong items but wasnt helpful in helping me purchase or even check what I drove 10 miles for. Thru out my entire transaction an employee who seemed to be off the clock stood nearby the entire time with her mask off talking to cashier who was completing my return. Unbelievable. Its still a Pandemic. On a positive note when I walked thru the lighting department. A friendly staffer asked if I needed help with anything. As he walked away he told me if I needed any help to let him know. The reason I gave 2 stars.
As far as picking up my item, that was easy and customer service was great. Unfortunately, when you have a question and you ask a floor person, they dont make eye contact or in my case, they totally ignore you. We wanted to purchase kitchen cabinets and I said to the worker oh hi, excuse me, and nothing, he was typing some stuff into the computer. Not even an acknowledgment of my presence. We ended up going on line and getting cabinets through IKEA. Guess home depot doesnt need our business.
Traffic is getting better going there, employees act as if they are better than the customer. They even ignore you when your asking for an item. Sometimes no one knows nothing. What a joke. Home depot needs competition they have a grip in this market. 90% of the time you can not find what you need and have to settle for another product.
The workers are more concerned with fraternities. Rather then doing there job. I ordered paint and got the wrong color. I ordered tiles my order was never delivered. But they say dispute it with my credit card they cant help me. I go to the store to find out about my order the black lady was very rude this store total experience was horrible. And Im black its bad when your own kind treat you worse!!!!!
One of the better home depots in the city due to its decent staff size and their time to help in an extremely busy environment.Their prices are fair and it has a large parking lot with plenty of parking. They also have a large variety of paints and a knowledgeable staff in that field.Ive also learned a few tricks from the staff to make my handy work go easier.
Very inconvenient location IMO. Its extremely dangerous and difficult to get here without a car. I dont recommend coming here just to get a plant or batteries! Or even key copies if you dont have a car. Go to one downtown, its pretty hard to get to on foot. Kinda understocked most of the time with scarce employees to help.
Terrible! Associates werent helpful. Most didnt know where the merchandise requested was. Aluminum siding which was what I was looking for was not in stock. I was told to go to the Pro section to place The order and the associate for that department had went home and no one else was available to help me. Bruckner home depot is awful!
Its home depot.... If you need a hardware store this is the the ultimate place. From lighting to gardening they have it all. I had a big painting job for my home and I was able to buy everything here at a good value. They have self checkout which is good considering the virus. Also all the staff is very helpful and again they have good value. They also sell flooring and other hardware.... Parking available and wheelchair accessible
Well if you need something or mostly anything for your home this is the place to go. Its wheelchair accessible place and parking also entrance and plenty of personal help Look for the always sales on needed items for Apartments or homes or even mobile homes even boats they have all your needs they are open early open late just come by take your time and be happy thats all here in one place at Home Depot Bx
Went to purchase a snow blower at store #6877, they were sold out and I was able to purchase a floor model. Wasnt given a discount because if i do get a discount I cant return the machine I own it as the manager stated. After me being there for almost 1.5 hours no discount. Manager Jack wasnt very customer friendly, turned down 3 customer trying to purchase a display snow machine, and had an attitude. Will contact corporate.
We just bought an A.C. and the sales rep that helped us was fantastic.. her name is Treasure. And she sure was one!This is an updated review from 6 months ago. And I am leaving the old review below this one...1st review: with 3starsIts rather difficult to find an employee that truly knows about their department.. The only department where they know is Paint.. I always have to find everything myself.
I’m so happy to have this HD close to my house, I got an emergency and I went to this specific store and there was a young guy, I just got to the door and he was like : can I help you? I was so stressed out but he gave me peace, he was walking the store fast just like me and we were looking for the item, they didn’t have it but he looked for others Home Depot stores and told me about the one in NR. He went to customer service and he placed the order with another nice guy so I was able To pick it up in new Rochelle and there I found another angel, A beautiful Jamaican lady that was able to get my order fast. God bless people like this!
Even though they have workers there some are willing to help you others are willing to tell you to wait one minute, Ill hold on and then never come back! More than half the time I have to look what I was looking for and this time I was to get paints and gas hose for stoves.
After spending over $30,000 at this place over the past few years, I finally decided to leave a full review. I am not changing the star level but I should and this is how your employees make or break a place or business. The following conversation happened while I was trying to pay for some small items that had no barcodes on them:Me: How do I pay for these ?Employee: Just go to a register.Me: But it has no barcode.Employee: You asked me how to pay for those right ?Me: yesEmployee: go to a registerMe (starts walking to the self checkout registers, figured someone would help me there, as thats how I pay for propane tanks)Employee: I said go to a register (and points to the manned registers)Me: What do you call those then (pointing to the self checkout i was heading to) ?Employee: (blank stare)Me: Sorry, and walked away to the manned registers.This is one of many such weird conversations Ive had with employees there. Luckily most of the times Im in and out without speaking to anyone.
My last 2 visits to this Home Depot in Bruckner Blvd. Was beyond expectations.Firstly most of the time my visits are two or three times for the same problem, and I always have to return stuff.They remodeled the customer service area,and added more associates made it more efficient.Secondly the associate that helped in the garden area was polite, knowledgeable about what I needed. He made wonderful suggestions to enhance the products I selected.Thirdly,he asked if he could assist me further I said yes but the products were not in the garden area his reply my paycheck says home Depot not garden department.He then proceeded to take me to where the other products were. I essentially brought more than I came into the store for and that was because I had help making related choices.Lastly,at the checkout I was quoted one price and when the product rang up it was more,the checkout associate gave me the product for the quoted without a hassle. At the exit the security was very helpful to me,my cellphone had died on me and I needed to charge it for about 10 minutes so that I could call for a taxi.All in all if the improvements continue in this same manner I will be a returning customer.Also special thanks to the new store co-manager who greeted me at the entrance , and gave me his card stating if I have any problems feel free to contact me.Thats what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I was there yesterday and i have like stress filling, because on weekends the people than work there dont help .they told you the line and you have to deal to find what you need, i miss my days when you go overthere and you have nice people around you ,you can find all your needs, but you have to find it😕😕
I had a dilemma. It was resolved by Jazzmyne and Wasim. Those two are stellar employees. I am in the military Reserves, while deployed my tenants refrigerator broke. This happened in August I would not be home till the middle of September. I ordered the Refrigerator while in the middle east from your Bruckner location. Somehow the order was cancelled. I came back to the states and was told the earliest delivery would be OCT 9th!! My tenant would be without a refrigerator for one whole month. I was about to cancel my order when Jazzmyne suggested a smaller refrigerator that was on the floor. It was smaller but at least your tenant will have a refrigerator and it will be delivered this week. Jazzmyne got Wasim, explained the situation and both got me a refrigerator that was able to be delivered the same week. Thank you Home Depot for hiring such thoughtful workers. Jazzmyne and Wasim strived to make sure I found something suitable since I had to cancel the original order due to a long delivery. The refrigerator they suggested allowed to ease my mind and purchase it with satisfaction.
OMG!! I dont know how this place runs. Fortunately for the contractors and construction workers who frequent HP they likely know where everything is BECAUSE to get a Service Rep is out of the question. You cant find anyone who knows what the hell theyre doing. AND the employees that are around are bothered when you ask a question!! Terrible!!
I cant even give it no stars . I went to look for a dryer and no one to be found . Several workers just talking amongst each other and nothing. I stopped a department manager asked her if I can get help she looked around and said if I had looked well in the appliances department i laughed and said yes I walked around all of this . she starts looking and points to a lady (who has 2 ppl with her ) and tells me when shes done with them to ask her for help or to ask her to find someone . NICE!! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Its nice to have a home depot so close, but Everytime I go into this store they are missing the item I need. Lots of items are unable to be shipped to this location and I end up needing to drive a few hours instead to get them. Ie, 4 sewer pipe is available, but they have a cheaper 10ft version that is in nyack and the 2 types are not compatible. Another example is I needed a 17cu electrical box for a thin wall, but it was only in the Bronx. I also needed a 3 pipe 90 elbow, they didnt have it. Other things include an afci combination breaker for 20amps they didnt have and a knock out for a breaker box. Its a very convenient location. They just need to allow more items to be shipped and carry more. Norwalk even has more!
Me and my mother came here in search of a fridge to replace one that we had ordered because we failed to take measurements and it didnt fit through our door. As me an my mother are aimlessly walking an employee comes up to us asking us if we need help. He was so helpful, I believe his name was Fernidad. Employees like him are a godsend because he was so patient and was as knowledgeable when it came to appliances. All I know is , Fernidad was great and truly shows an exemplary amount of customer service as well as professionalism!
I love going to Home Depot, usually I go with my husband when he needs something and then I wonder off and look up and down the aisles on my own. I always find something I like. I love visiting during the spring and summer times because they have such nice plants and decorations for the house and garden. the staff is always helpful and the store is wellkept!
I can see why more people are going to Loews. The service at Home Depot is horrible. When looking for a manager, you can never find one. Their phones are always busy. I can count the number of times I went to get wood cut and it just so happens BOTH saw machines are out of order. Associates are a rarity on the sales floor either theyre in the breakroom or huddled somewhere in the building. If there was a Lowes in the same vicinity I would absolutely go there. Ive been there a few times, one in BK and the other in Yonkers...such great service. I think going forward ill make the trip to go to Loews.
Really bad experience last time I was there.During the pandemic I bought a staple gun to do some home improvement. When I got home the staple gun didnt work. I went back to exchange the product and buy some other materials.According to the person at the door controlling the line said because of the pandemic there was no returns. I told him that I dont agree but I understand, so I ask for a raincheck or something to prove that their product was malfunctioning and I just wanted to exchange for the same item. They said it was not possible to do that.In my frustrations I said well, Ill just buy a new one. They said I couldnt get in to the store with the malfunctioning stable gun the they sold me. So I had to leave it in the garbage if I wanted to get in, so I did.I was followed inside the store by some dude until they make sure I paid for the new staple gun... That was really embarrassing.
I just made an order this morning and had the curb pickup. It was easy and was quick I receive my package delivered to my car. The person had a smile and confirmed my order. I took it from her since she was going to place it in the back but I took it via the driver side. Never had to walk in and especially with today heat.
The items are easy to find like in other home depots but if you need help from the people that work there , they will have you from one place to another. Some of the people that work there are quite rude and inattentive, but after all is home depot , what you expect.
This is my main homedepot due to close proximity to my home. Selection wise, it’s pretty much your standard Home Depot. Know what you need and get it. Customer service is horrendous and I don’t expect much. I never ask questions because I know the typical Home Depot replies marked with teeth sucking, face making, and generally stoic cold responses. Highly overcrowded and disorganized self-check out lines. Products are not organized and are all over the place. You may have a hard time looking for what you need especially in the nuts, bolts, and automotive sections as it is unorganized. Employees to self help lines typically are not attentive and don’t care if you have troubles. One time I had trouble with the kiosk not reading my product and a lady came to help and fixed it. I said thank you, and she pretty much brushed off the thank you and walked away. Anyways don’t expect much in the customer help department. But this good trusty Home Depot will have what you need most of the time.
I love this store, but one is hard pressed to find help. If you dont know what you need for a project, youll be lost, going there. Its frustrating. It takes me longer to find anything I need, and end up spending much longer than anticipated. Maybe, Im missing the mark here. Just maybe, there is another reason for going there that escapes me. lol. There prices, I find, are better than their competition.

I give it a good in appeal, based on the overall indoor look. Some areas need improvement, and they should apply their home wording when doing so. In the bathroom and kitchen areas they have a few models. But it would be more appealing to actually get a more home environment type of feeling . It would get me to purchase more if products are displayed better. Overall the customer service is magnificent and staff is skilled and courteous. Their items are of excellent quality and they carry many brands. I would recommend for all your home needs.
Every time I’ve called for a simple request, I’d be transferred to multiple departments and placed on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. It’s as though the customer reps don’t want to do their job. I’ve currently been transferred three times and placed on hold for 23 minutes after asking for the status of my order.
This is the best home depot right now. Customer service awesome. The isle are always put together. If you are looking for certain pex fittings and cant find them anywhere. Just go to serena. Its there. Did I say the staff is friendly, helpful and awesome. Right now they even better than new Rochelle
I would say We always running to this home depot for every project , for work or for home, and every time Joseph from plumbing is so helpful and he provide all the information required. We could always go to home depot worry free because he always understand our vision. Jay should be the employee of the year . His customers service is amazing.
Workers are very rude and not helpful. In store they have attitudes and then when you call to get info on the products they cut you off and transfer you to another line that just keeps ringing and ringing. Then when you are interacting with a worker they talk to you like you are stupid and supposed to know! Would not recommend this store at all. Find a different Home Depot is you would like knowledgeable and patient Customer service! Only reason this got 1 star is because I had to give it something in order to write the review!
After walking around for over an hour to find some of the items I needed, I asked for help with this one last item. After being directed back and forth between aisles I asked for a manager. The response I got was there’s no manager. Really in the whole store, no manager. Maybe the associates should be trained better in how to assist the customers. I chose to leave all my items and will be looking elsewhere to purchase what I need. Thanks for wasting my time.
These five stars are for Trevor in the paint department. I wanted to stain a used fish tank cabinet. I didnt have any experience doing this but I had an idea of what I wanted the finished look to be. One employee tried to be helpful by explaining what the different paints do but upon explaining that I wanted to keep the wood patterns visible he told me I was the first person ever to say that and kinda laughed. It made me discouraged and doubtful as to what I thought I wanted.Would it look right? Would I be wasting my money? I was almost in tears. My husband saw how disappointed I looked and asked if there was someone else that could assist us. Trevor was the guy we should ask for the employee said and walked away. Well Trevor was amazing! He heard what I wanted to accomplish, explained the processes of each type of paint or stain and after showing him my cabinet project he suggested which product would give me the desired look and options for if I wasnt happy with the outcome. I was elated! I felt sure about my choice and confident in my outcome. By listening to my needs and offering his expertise and advise my cabinet came out so beautiful. Thank you!
Spending $4K and messing up an order was not enough for them to not mess up the order and the old appliances pick up. We’ve been here with an old fridge sitting in the kitchen and being given the runaround, still waiting to be called back. Quick to sell you items, to charge you for an extra missing piece, but when it comes to their responsibilities they transfer you to the next person, don’t give two s$&@s about you.
As I approach Home Depot in Gunhill, one thing that stuck me is how dirty the place is on the outside. They have plenty of time to clean the place so they have no excuse. The pick up area looks like a dump. They should take more pride in the outside of the store and in our community.
This is my home store. I shop in this Brush Ave , Bruckner store for all my home needs since the closing on the Zerega Ave , when this one opened. This time the service has been Extraordinary! I have been there like 7 times in the past month due to another home project and I have had the best services each time. I love the remodel they had. The store looks great!
To get help you actually have to ask out loud because theyre all in a group chatting. I witnessed this in several departments. When I actually got some help from a gentleman who worked there his other co worker came up said some smart remark and were asking for help. They were conversing about what time she gets out out. It was very uncomfortable and hard to deal with. Seemed more like a hang out place for employees. Just horrible experience I was in the flooring area not cheap and for other items they didnt know where things were at. Customer service is horrible.
Very rude staff. They start cleaning the isles while you’re shopping and ask you to move repeatedly instead of just going around or cleaning one of the many empty isles. I agreed to move, but then, while I was putting an item back on the shelf, they moved my cart all the way to another isle without asking! When I asked the employee (Angel) why he moved my cart in the few seconds I wasn’t looking, he said my cart was “unattended.” He very well knew it was my cart as I was clearly the only customer in the tile area! Very nasty attitude when I confronted him about moving my cart. No apology or reasonable explanation. That’s enough to make me go to another store!
Honestly, this was the worst retail experience I have ever had. I understand that employees can have tough or bad days but no need to tell your customers do you have a cell phone and have you ever heard of Google. If you dont know the name of the item atleast direct me to someone who can help and Everytime I come here the cashier is either chit chatting with another coworker instead of helping to complete the purchase of products. I left empty handed with no help, please hire more competent employees. So dissapointed...
Large inventory of almost anything to pick up for repairing or shaping up your home. Free parking in its open parking lot. Depending on the product you are looking for the staff is either there, very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful or just not there. Prices are reasonable for most of the products.
Customer Service was terrific!!!!! When I couldnt find the answer they called for help. They found the code I needed to assist w my exempt purchase and showed me how. They could have shrugged and been like in well, but they didnt. We appreciate you. That team did their thing
Home Depot is great if you know what you need and where it is but at times asking people who work there some dont seem to want to help you, they seem to look for other people they can pawn you off to or some give you answers that make no sense or send you to the wrong isle instead of saying they dont know. Today was a great day because the woman hubby asked about where something was that we needed actually took us to where it was and stayed going over different types. We only realized that she worked in the gardening dept and was going on a break when we asked her the question. What an angel and a great worker she was. We thanked her because we have had some who will say that theyre on a break they cant help us. People like her, for a minute, restore your faith in humanity, then you run into so many of the others and youre back to wondering why managers allow the others to represent their franchise/business.
My fiance and I just had the most uncomfortable experience. We were followed around by an armed security guard while we were shopping. He watched us check out and followed us outside into the parking lot. We are hard working people and we do not have a thug appearance. But I felt very uncomfortable and i do not think that I will ever return there. I have never been treated like this anyplace else. I AM NOT A THIEF
I always come to home depot when I need my home improvement needs. This is my first time coming to this location. It is a lot bigger then the one next to my home. The 9nly thing is trying to get to this location can be a bit tricky since there is construction going on to the bridge.It you have any home improvement I recommend coming here. Ill be back.
No one wants to do work here and employees have bad attitudes. Waited 15 minutes at the door aisle and the “manager” finally comes. Tells me that Home Depot doesn’t sell glass closet doors anymore and, if they did, it would be at least $3-400. I showed him the website where they were $80....and sold by Home Depot. Incompetent. If you don’t like people, don’t be in customer service.
I dislike the fact that there are soo many people working, and at tume they dont help you enough For instance we were there yesterday wanti g ro get a medicine cabinet. They had one in the shelves, and made us wait 45 minutes just because they did not want to get the the truck the have to get it. It is super crazy how they could help better, but i dont kniw why they dont. Also had manu oyhers incidents.
This store is horrible with costumer service. When it comes to appliance delivery it takes a whole week and the delivery company lies about their delivery schedule. Save your time and money by visiting another store where they take the time to value as a costumer who pays cash.
Horrible experience at the customer service desk..a NASTY, UNFRIENDLY, RUDE women named EVELYN was at the service desk when I was returning an item for my 87yr old father. As we approached the counter she already had a face on. She rudely said what is that. I didnt answer quick enough because I was gettingmy receipt from my pocketbook and she started ROLLING HER EYES ...SMACKING HER LIPS AND TWISTING HER NECK BACK AND FORTH...this is the holiday season and she should NOT BE DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS..she should be In the back counting nails..when I spoke to the manager PABLO he apologized but didnt do anything else..GET RID OF THIS NASTY B !!!
A male worker at Home Depot walked past my friend & I , we began to ask him a question , he briskly walked past us and stated he was helping a customer and pointed behind us. There was no one there.That gentleman, in my opinion, doesnt deserve that job, someone who wants to authenticatly help others should have it.

2022-05-08Good place an a ok customer service they gotta focus more in making sure when they call somebody in charge of a section that they get to the customer not just call and leave the customer there waiting on it’s on without checking up to see if the customer got the help or assistance the customer needed other then that after they do get to you they are very helpful.

2022-02-25Honestly i just accompany my husband every time he goes to check stuff out for the house.I go directly to the gardening section where I can find a decent amount and variety of plants and i always leave with at least one.
