Right down the street from the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, after walking all over NY for 2 days in a row we didnt want to walk far so we checked out the menu on line and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did, my wife ordered the Braised Short Ribs sandwich and I had the Scottish Salmon in a champagne sauce with mashed potatoes and spinach. Service, Food, and prices were all excellent. I highly recommend the Houndstooth Pub.
Service is everything when you go to a restaurant. Mike, the door guy/host/manager or whatever you want to call him....was unbelievable. I had an injury resulting in having to be on a knee scooter. I tried this restaurant because it was close to my hotel. He greeted me, found a great spot for me, checked on me, etc. All the while, it was busy. I watched him (and the whole staff) treat every single person like family. Food was awesome, drinks were good, service amazing across the board. Mike helped me navigate out - and then, a couple minutes later, came running after me on 37th street because I left my credit card behind. Who does this?? Mike, thank you. Ill be back - and youre an amazing guy.
Nice atmosphere, and fun place. Food was ok. My son had the curry chicken and he wished it was spicier. I had the Manchester sandwich which was also good. The buffalo chicken wings were the best because they had the most flavor (and I was hungriest when I ate them). It’s a good place to eat if you happen to be in the area.
Great pub with excellent food. Aiden the bartender was very helpful and friendly who answered our every “travel” question with enthusiasm. Pasta Primavera with shrimp was so good. Unfortunately, the next bartender “Vickielyn” or “Vickielea”, the next day was the exact opposite. Spent all her time on her phone and we had to get her attention if we wanted anything. Recommend this place highly and look for Aiden!
My family had a little bit of time before we went to see Star Wars at a Times Square theater. We were hungry and my son wanted Chipotle. I decided to Diner at a more mom and pop place and chose the Houdstooth Pub and Restaurant. Upon entering, it had a lively and welcoming vibe. Since this place was busy when we arrived, we were brought to the lower level of the restaurant that had an inviting section. I ordered a well-done hamburger with swiss cheese. It was perfectly cooked and delicious throughout on a freshly baked brioche bun. The side salad it came with had a memorable house dressing. Both of my wife and sons dishes were equally impressive. Ive visited this restaurant a few times before and its always consistently good. Ill be coming back. For those tourists visiting Midtown, Id recommend this place over the many fast food restaurants that punctuate this area for its quality, service, and ambiance. And if its comfort food you want, they deliver.
I came to this cute pub last night through a recommendation of a co-worker. I just went for a drink and dinner. The overall look of the pub, including the downstairs bathroom was very clean. My waitress was friendly, but service was a tad on the slow side. I overlooked it since the place was really packed. My Bloody Tooth drink was awesome, but the Rack of Lamb was fair. It was cooked nicely and was tender, but lacked in flavor. The string beans and potatoes on the plate made up for it. Based off of everything I would come here again and try something different.
On my way to American Buffalo last Saturday, we walked past the Houndstooth in between Penn Station & Circle in the Square. I am always in search of the best crabcakes, and their Crab Sliders are scrumptious. Great people, delicious food, close to lots of Broadway shows. Enjoy!🦬
Decent place EXTREMELY LOUD. This place is not bad. Really good bar service. Good whiskey selection. Food was not bad. Shepherds pie was more than adequate. Bring some earplugs. Bathrooms [like many places in NYC] are downstairs. Strangely enough there is cool seemingly quieter, chill bar downstairs. There were seven of us for dinner. Service was fine. Not bad. Just not great and there are a ton of great places in this city.
It was ok, the service wasnt great. Its a bar... so I went to have some drink with friends. There was only one bartender who was taking care of everyone including a large group that had a reservation. So they knew their would be a lot of people... I got two drinks but probably would have had 6.
First time in New York, waiting to catch a bus, wandering around and I found this great place. Perfect stop for a traveler, and I can say I’d be a regular if I was a local. I do still have yet to try their food, due to time, but the menu has something to offer for everyone. I’ll be here again. Until next time New York.
Went yesterday. Giving this place 2/3 stars because the drinks were good & service too! But, my friend & I got FOOD POISONING from their CHICKEN. My third friend had a burger & was fine so it was definitely the chicken. My other friend & I threw up & got diarrea after this place. I’ve never had food poisoning before & my stomach hurts so much :’(.
Great NYC pub. Burgers and wings are outstanding. Beer selection good for most tastes. Great cocktails as well. Nice private party room downstairs. Great TV locations as well to watch your favorite team. Staff and owners are top notch. Go check them out. They also have a Blues themed bar across the street with similar amenities.
Went to Houndstooth to meet up with friends after work and this place was perfect for a Midtown bar. Drinks were great and the whiskey selection was top notch which was also a plus. We had wings for apps that were as good as any in NYC. The burger was cooked right and my friend had a chicken special that he said was really good. Atmosphere was business/casual and comfortable. Great place to meet up with friends or just grab a drink waiting for a a train. It had more of a local pub feel, rather then NYC tourist bar. Highly recommend.
My new favorite place in the area for drinks. The happy hour specials were available until close on a Monday which was ideal. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. If you are nearby and contemplating where to sit down for a few minutes, have some food, or grab a drink, put the phone away and enter this fine establishment.Have not tried their food yet but I will take the word of a stranger nearby who ordered their buffalo wings and confirmed to the curious bartender that they were, good.
Wandered into this place yesterday while walking up 8th Avenue with my wife. What a find! The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was great! We had wings and a couple of beers. This place does their chicken wings in the original Buffalo style with that buttery hot sauce. They were amazing! The menu is jammed packed with options and they all look good. Needless to say we will definitely be coming back to try some of their entrees. Best wings I’ve had in recent memory!
Oh dear , is the chef having a bad day . Arrived at a busy lively pub and see rack of lamb on the menu. Yummy ! ...... unfortunately service poor food not even as good as that . Very disappointing. To the point my partner wouldn’t even leave a tip and that never happens . Oh a mint sauce is not fluorescent spearmint jelly just so ya know ! 1 star only because I have to .
Went here after work for happy hour with my boyfriend. It was pretty good service however, the drinks weren’t as strong as they should’ve been for their given prices. I had gotten the white sangria and my boyfriend had the Moscow mule. We both ordered sandwiches (I ordered the veggie sandwich and he got the chicken cutlet one). They were good but the bread made it very difficult to eat and enjoy fully as the sandwich contents kept falling out with each and every bite. Overall, I would suggest this place to anyone who is passing the area and wants to grab a quick sit-down bite to eat!
Awesome place!!!!!! Happy and attentive staff provided great service. The menu is full of great choices burgers, salads and traditional pub food like shepherds’s . I had the Buffalo wings and they should be advertised as the best in NYC!!! Really really tasty!!!! Definitely going back to this spot.
Great place, amazing owners, these guys are institutions in the food/bev industry and have seen it all and worked with all. If theres one common thread that one feels here its kindness and generosity. Great balance of service with nyc grit that you love to see/feel in these times. Highly recommend for locals and out of towners who want an authentic midtown experience. Even as a vegetarian (like me) you wont be disappointed, the veggies were cooked just to my likely and the beverages to wash them down were served to the brim with a smile
On a cold night walking back to our hotel it was a nice warm spot to stop.staff was efficient and not intrusive when having a conversation. When glasses were empty our bartender was there to help. Nice bar, did not try the food, but other were eating and it looked good. Reasonable prices too.
Even though it was crowded when we arrived, we were seated relatively quickly, and the food was very good. I had the baby back ribs, my wife had a salad, and we enjoyed both of them. I also had an old-fashioned which was sub-par, but the wine was pretty good. Overall, it was a really nice experience.
Went here with my family. We depended heavily on the google rating and were not disappointing. They had a good selection of drinks at he bar and on the menu. My dad wants me to point out the pastrami, he says it was excellent. Overall, we were very happy with the ambiance and the entire experience!!
The environment is fine, nice interior and bar. They did not forewarn our party of 7 that there would be a built in gratuity of 20%. Service of our food was pretty quick. They advertise happy hour price specials, but they are the same price as any other time of day. Waitress barely stopped by and my request for a side of sauce was never met. The quesadillas that cost $16 were mostly tortilla and were very skimpy on the filling. I think that our service wasnt very good because the waitress knew she would get a 20% tip on our expensive tab anyways. Their sweet potato fries are fantastic though and you get a good serving size of those.
This place is great! It has good Guinness and I had the french onion soup. The soup was pretty good and the Guinness was, well, it was Guinness so it was awesome. Nice window seating - older ambiance which I liked. Not super bougie. I’ll go again when I’m in my voice lessons next door!
It was late, but 12:30 am seemed to be pretty busy. The server was very nice but seemed like he might of had better thing to do. Four start service, which is good, just not five star. The hot wings were the best got wings I have ever had. If got back just for them. I had a pretty good burger too.
Very poor experience during work lunch today - we arrived just before 12 and the restaurant was ~1/4 full. We placed our orders within 10 minutes of being seated, they were out of the Beyond Burger which was disappointing for half of our party. It took ONE HOUR to get a few salads and burgers, the fries were cold and the meat was dry. Pretty sad for a $17 burger...I’m not very picky but it’s not a good sign when the bun is the best part of the meal. Should have went to one of the many other restaurants in the area, much better experience and pricing.
Great pub! Staff is friendly. Food is reasonably priced for the area and its delicious. Charming and easy-going atmosphere. Great vibe - lots of wood for character, any attire is appropriate, awesome bar sitting, plenty windows for a nice view. Decent draft selection. Music is great without being obnoxious. Check out their happy hour menu. Visited here mutilple times because it feels like home - could spend all evening at this bar. One of our favorite bars in the area.
We wandered in off the street after booking into a hotel nearby looking for a meal and a cold beer. We ended up ordering chicken from the specials menu and the veggie burger with a salad on the side. Both were great - the chicken dish in particular was very tasty and a very generous serve. The IPA beer on tap was great too. Service was very efficient and pleasant. Place had a nice vibe. Would happily go back.
I only stopped in here because I had just arrived, hadnt eaten and didnt want to think about where to go. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised. Burger was quite good. However, Im not sure I would call what they serve upscale. Service pretty good although I could tell they were getting busy. Definitely I can see from the location, furniture set-up, decor and drink selection why this would be a popular happy hour hangout.
Was planning to have dinner with some old friends while they were in NYC and randomly chose The Houndstooth Pub to meet up. What a fantastic choice!!! From the host at the front door to everyone that served us (I think we had 3 servers while we were there) everyone was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was very good. We spent a long time at our table and never felt pressured to leave. A++++ experience. Highly recommended
I have eaten in the Houndstooth pub on numerous occasions and the food and service is outstanding. Plenty of room at each table for a group and a great menu. In season the lamb shank is to die for as are the baby ribs. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in New York City.
I went here on a date after work on a Friday. The food was pretty good, I had the Pulled Pork sandwich and she had the Manchester. We both like the food and atmosphere. Its your typical Irish/UK style pub. The prices were a little high but thats expected in the city. The only complaint we had was the service, it was decent up until we ordered dessert. It took nearly a half hour just to bring it to our table. Normally I wouldnt mind, especially when Im in great company, but it was still pretty empty. Overall a good experience.
Great French onion soup, huge salads big enough to share, relish burgers. Can be a bit noisy but have never had to wait for a table which in NY is rare at lunch time. Decent drinks including happy hour specials (the white sangria is yummy). Huge servings. Recommend if in that area and want a decent meal at good prices.
The food was good (fish and chips, and a cheeseburger and fries) the hostess not so much. My friend and I stopped in for a late night bite and were treated like an inconvenience. I am a wheelchair user, so we needed a low top table. Apparently those are kept on a higher level that was up a few stairs. The hostess asked if we were going to order food, or just drinks. It was about 45 minutes before closing so we kinda understood her wanting to make sure it was worth their effort. When we said wed be eating and would appreciate the staff moving a table for us, we received a nod, eye roll, and a childish sigh. Very disrespectful. I absolutely will not be back.
Very nice atmosphere and quite clean. However, if youre looking for a quiet and mellow bar, this is not it. This place is NOISY because theres a lot of people talking at once. Not giving demerit to the bar, just giving a heads up.Drinks are very nice and averagely priced. Not that much selection when it comes to food, but the food is very good.
Great pub in the heart of the city. Staff are friendly and attentive. The venue and staff are very accommodating for large parties and offer a number of platters if that works for your group better than individual orders. There is a variety of single malt scotches to choose from and the appetizers were some of the best pub food Ive had.
Friendly bartenders, cold beer, great food, what more could you want from a pub? We ordered the grilled veggie garden burger and Beyond Burger, and both were excellent. Check out the photo of owner Nicholas with Ed Sheeran downstairs and then try the matching cocktail.
Excellent food, good service, and convenient location from the theater district. Ive been here many times and have never been disappointed. Much larger dining area than their other awesome pub (Stich Bar) across the street (same owners, pretty much the same menus), you cant go wrong with either.
Houndstooth helped me throw a fabulous retirement party in their event space downstairs. Everyone who attended raved about the food- especially the crab cakes and the steak. I was thrilled with the level of attention from the servers and bartenders- we felt very well taken care of. Bill, the event manager, was an expert in knowing what we would really need, alleviating all my anxieties. Many many thanks to Kevin and all the crew for helping us have a great night!!!
Stopped in for dinner and found out their happy hour (like a lot of restaurants in the city) runs from noon to 7pm! Good timing!! Started with the seafood bisque which was a thick orange colored base with chunks of shrimp, salmon and crab. Delicious. Main course was the Sheppards pie - a much larger version than I have seen in most other pubs. Would definitely return!
LOVE this place. We have theatre parties there all the time for a couple of companies I am involved with, in particular Oberon Theatre Ensemble. Great menu! The waiters are usually very friendly. Great bar selection as well. They have an upstairs and downstairs, and are a wonderful post-theatre hang out.
We came in between lunch and dinner so the place wasnt overly crowded. Our server was nice but seemed like he had better tables to take care of. We were initially going to brush that off because he still gave okay service. I ordered a medium rib-eye, which came out well-done. My fiance ordered the salmon with spinach, none of which had any actual seasoning on it. He found pin bones in his salmon (which he would have brushed off also, hes a chef, it happens.) But he also found plastic wrap from the container in his spinach. We wanted to tell the server, but he only came back after we had eaten everything. We told him there was plastic in the food, he apologized, and that was that and we were handed our bill. That was the one and only time he checked on us after one of the food runners gave us our food. We had ordered bar drinks and never were offered additional after ours were empty. Im giving two stars because my food tasted alright, even though it wasnt cooked right. Nothing was worth the $100 bill we received, and we definitely over tipped by leaving 20%.
I would give it zero stars if I could. I found disgusting hairs on the lamb chops I ordered. No need to ever order lamb chops. Just stick to the cheaper stuff, as this filthy bar is overpriced. The bartenders are shady and the crowd is very low class. Undoubtedly just another dive bar owned by another low life.
I come here quite a lot since I work in the neighborhood. The happy hour is good, service is very hit or miss, and the hostess staff is always terrible (incompetent, don’t listen to customers, and don’t even try to be helpful or take initiative at all). The food is decent. Honestly, if you don’t need good service and just want some greasy pub food and a cheap beer, this is the spot for you. Be mindful that it gets very loud and crowded weeknights after work.
The Houndstooth has excellent service and a moderate selection of spirits and tend to keep their menu fairly basic. I would do a disservice to say the food was merely adequate but its not really a place for appetizing dishes as much as a bar for a lively outing w friends. Great Halloween spirit as I imagine seasonally they are into following trends and seasons.
This old Army veteran has been to a lot of gastropubs while in service and out. I have to say that this is one of the best. Kip was very attentive, the drinks were properly made and the the food was really good. I liked this place so much that I returned with an old Army buddy and he had a great time. I highly recommend going here and next time I am in the area I will be stopping in.
I asked the bartender about their old fashion and he said he makes a classic old fashioned drink. It was by far the worst old fashioned Ive ever had considering that Ive working as a bartender. Aside from it being in the wrong glass and the overload of ice I would expect it to have some balance. The drink tasted like candy and after 2 sips I just felt nauseous.Thank you for remaking it but if I said it was too sweet why would the second one still taste sweet. Never going there again or setting up work lunches here. Especially since thee manager took care of this.
I had a lovey evening at Houndstooth. I was worried due to Penn Station proximity, but once the commuter crowd cleared out we got great seats at the bar. Very delicious sweet potato fries and cheesecake! Good selection of drinks and whiskey. Friendly staff, recommend if you are in the area!
Crab cakes were super dry with minimal crab meat. Turkey deli sandwich was dry as well nocondiments, just dry cheese and turkey. Service was excellent, I will give them that. Cute place most definitely. But definitely over priced. 2 beers, dry crab cakes, dry sandwich and a salad are not worth $60 before tip
Went here on a Sunday morning for some brunch with 3 other friends. After waiting 15+ minutes to order (and the only ones in the restaurant) we patiently waited for our food...over 45 minutes later...All of our orders came out at different times and ..cold! We all got eggs of some sort so you can image are disappointment. The food was not good, on top of being cold, the eggs were watery and the avocado was sour. It was overall a very upsetting experience!
This was our fIrst visit to the Houndstooth Pub and most likely the last visit. I ordered the Bangers and Mash and was very disappointed in the meal. While the mash potatoes and gravy were good, the bangers were four small sausages that had no discernible flavor, were terribly over-cooked and dry, and had a hard coating on them. I have had this dish many times in Irish pubs in London and the States. The bangers should be larger quality sausages that are juicy and flavorful when properly cooked. I do not recommend this dish to anyone who may visit this restaurant.
Went to brunch with my sisters and it was absolutely disgusting. EVERYTHING was cold, I ended up sending back my eggs and left without eating a thing. The “sangria” wasn’t considered a sangria it was a gross mimosa that they were pawning off as sangria. The prices are insane, $6 for a side of hash browns that again, were cold and there were TWO hash brown patties. The coffee was old and bitter which we ended up sending back. The waitress was upset that we complained but we were disgusted. Save your money and don’t go here.
I have the shepherds pie and it was pretty good. Not the best I have ever had but definitely good and well worth the trip. my two co-workers had fish and chips and heiberger respectively and along with passing other customers on my way to it from the table all the food looked really good.
A mediocre beer list, weird glasses, and generally lousy food. Im not sure why this place is still open. You can do much better in the neighborhood.EDIT: My reviews on Google Maps speak for themselves. Its awfully telling that the GM/owner is responding to disagree with reviews instead of working to fix the problems in her/his establishment. The simplest problem they could fix is carrying some actual craft beer. This city has tons of great breweries producing fantastic beer, and this pub has...Sam Adams. This isnt 2002.
Had a drink and a quick bite and everything was how it should be in such a place....which says something as in NYC youre never quite sure what youll get.And the service was amazing...I left a leather binder on the bar and the staff went out of their way to track me down and then FedEx the binder to me in my hometown. Thats the kind of service that makes an impression; Ill always be grateful and will return the next time I have a chance!
Very nice place with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. You get free refills on some drinks and they offered free water because of the heat. Food was good (at least the steak sandwich) and while it isnt the cheapest you still get a lot for your money. The music was a little bit too loud for comfy talking, but well, its a pub ;)
Slow, lousy service at 9pm. They werent busy, but they werent interested in providing ANY service, good or bad. After waiting 15 minutes to get a drink, I opted to not order food. At one point, people at the bar are looking around at each other, asking aloud, are we missing something? Is it that hard to interact with customers instead of sequestering yourself with co-workers or your phone? Ive been in the city for four months on business and its been, by far, my worst experience.
Good solid pub food spot, I go often because I live across the street and the prices are reasonable but its really nothing that special at all. My favorite thing is the steak sandwich, very tasty. The service is fine from the waitstaff but they will definitely slow down there service for drinks if your eating there as it approaches end of happy hour I noticed or wait until its over to go to your table if you come in 10 mins left of happy hour. Which is annoying especially since I dont usually order happy hour drinks anyway so its just inconvenient and obnoxious. And whats really obnoxious is the club like security they have at the door, I mean come on. Its a pub. Im pretty sure it has to do with race because the host and the bouncer will stop you at the door and make you show Id just to go in and eat even after you say that your coming to eat and want a table and not just going to the bar. After me and my friend said well show it to the wait staff if we choose to drink with our meal the host said, and I quote well I will not give you guys any drink menu so you wont be able to order unless you show your ids rite now. May I add that me and my friend are both in our thirties and I feel it has to do with race because after the rude encounter, we watched as we were eating throughout our meal and they are very selective of who they id. If your white, lets just say you wont have any issues and can literally walk right in over to the bar no questions asked.I really dont know what there trying to go for, I literally come in to get some food and some drinks if I feel BECAUSE I LIVE ACROSS THE STREET, in the middle of the day on a week day. Its not a late night, weekend, club hop Party spot. So you should really cut out the attitude.Unless of course. Your only trying to cater to a certain type of crowd to patronize your business.
Went in today for lunch 1.30 looked great, menu looked good but the staff (the girl who greeted us,took us to our table and threw the menu down on the table ) just down right rude, so we walked out . Wont be recommending here to any of my other tourist friends from Ireland.
Had a christmas party there food was good my only little issue is /the room I believe was downstairs there was a small step to get to the tables along the wall after you served yourself at buffet so you got a plate of food a drink an its dark everyone tripped over this step they should have lights along that step not to mention people are drinking
My husband and some friends went here for drinks and food about 9pm the other night and had such a weirdly bad customer service experience. It seemed from the moment we walked in that the hostess did not like us/was in a bad mood/hated the world. We told her that we would have some other friends joining us and said the total would be 11 people and understood that there may not be a table but wanted to see if there was. I feel like we were super polite and chill about the whole thing. She begrudgingly found us a table downstairs that was great and then we had a weird run in with the waitress who was serving us at the table we had been waiting at about closing our check. Then our waitress at the new table was also snippy. SERIOUSLY. IT WAS SO WEIRD. Dirty looks from the hostess the moment we walked in. We are pretty overly nice, accommodating people who have both worked in restaurants so I just didnt understand what was going on. bad staff morale? everyone having a bad day? used to getting jilted on tips and thus already on guard? The turkey burger I ordered was great so theres that which is why Im giving three stars. But I will NOT be back. Sorry, but too many restaurants in this city to deal with the crappy attitudes at this one.
We came based on online menu and found because of a billy Joel concert they had changed not only the menu to a more restricted offering but had jacked up the prices too. food was ok but a bit of a Liberty i think . As a visitor to the US is this a reflection of the American Dream .
Average NY pub, not much or a selection of beers, definitely a tourist spot with a lot of out of towners. Had a burger, it was pretty big but very little flavor. Way too much gorgonzola, as much as I like gorgonzola this was way too much. Staff nwas friendly though. There are a couple of TVs to watch a game. Think TGIF with a British name and fish and chips as the only British food item on the menu.
It is family owned and I have started taking my dog for grooming to this place since past old year. They have increased the price twice in a year and thats something not fair and on top of this they charge extra for matting even when you take your dog within 8 weeks as required by them. I like to tip: however, when they increase the price frequently and then levy extras on you even when we comb our dog regularly, it really gets very expensive.
Went here with my mother in law the first weekend in may. I had the penne pasta with chicken. Let me tell you... it was amazing!!!❤️❤️ Next trip to NYC will definitely return here. Can you give me the Recipe houndstooth owner. I live in North Carolina and don’t get to NYC often. I’ve been craving this dish for a month!!😜
We waited 45 minutes for out food. and then when we finally got it no waiter came back to see how we were doing. then i tried 2 times to flag down a waiter to get the bill, he looked me in the eye and waived like he acknowleged but did not come back. second time he passed he averted his eyes like he didnt see me. took 20 minutes before he came over. this places needs more wait staff or something.for $20 for a burger i expect better service.
Bouncer asked for my ID when I walked in. I dropped something out of my pocket at the time and didnt realize it. I know I dropped there because it was in the same pocket as my wallet at the time. Lets just say the bouncer liked what I dropped and kept it for himself. Because when I came back to ask if they found it he acted very suspicious. Employees here steal from customers.
Maybe we shouldnt have gone after work on a Thursday, but we couldnt even snag a seat after milling around for an hour. The waitress brushed us off. Regardless of age, you have to show your ID at the door. The loud fist-pumping music was unbearable. Maybe Ill give this place a second chance on a Tuesday, but Midtown (believe it or not) has far better places to unwind in after a stressful day at the office.

2022-05-20Went for a very late dinner at around 9.30pm. There were still a lot of people. Business looked good. Food should therefore be good too.We ordered fish & chips which was not quite the same as those in Britain. The fish was nevertheless fresh and tasted quite good even though the batter was not the same as those in Britain. We also ordered onion soup which unfortunately we could not consume as it was very salty. The pasta was good. The service was excellent.

2022-04-12Good pub food. The sweet potato fries were my fave. I had the chicken sandwich, it was okay. The Ed Sheeran cocktail was pretty good too. I was feeling the music, mostly pop. Tvs were on as well... servers were courteous, Service was good. I might go back just because its by my job. Went at 1pm, no happy hour anything at that time. Feel like more places need happy hour at this time to bring in more customers.

2021-12-16A great little relaxing bar to drink and eat at. We came in just to drink but ended up ordering some shrimp with aioli which was good. Drinks were reasonably priced (~$9 dollars for a shot or a simple drink like a whiskey and coke, a fancy mixed drink will run you more like $15)I love it here. If we had a place like this in Albany Id stop in just for the atmosphere.

2022-08-05Excellent place, very spacious and clean, waiters and bartenders are friendly and even offered me a active military discount, I ordered buffalo wings and they were fresh and crispy but still juicy inside, the only complaint is that the hot was not spicy at all, mostly butter and Franks red hot, but still worth checking out, it was 20$ for around a dozen wings, nice size wings also, I would recommend them.

2021-09-11Very nice place to have some drinks and grab a quick meal. The staff is super attentive and warm. I arrived a couple of minutes after the kitchen closed and they still allowed me to have dinner. The ambience is subtle but effective. Food and drinks were good. They serve fernet!

2022-03-09Came here only for a nightcap one evening. We were a large group, but the bartender quickly fixed us our drinks, which were quite good.As it was near closing time, the doorman came over to let us know ahead of time that we had a solid 10 minutes to finish up and we appreciated his early notice. We really enjoyed drinks here and maybe someday, well check out the food.
