Me and a friend drove all the way from ct to get some fish and trusts me it was definitely worth the trip . We got lots of great fish that are doing amazing in my tank . I was very impressed with the fish and the way we was treated from the second we walked in . I will definitely be going back for more fish.
I ordered 10 two inch Discus fish and 7 of them were closer to 1&1/4 inch to 1&1/2 inch. Very young! One died after 1 week.. no visible sign of why it died. I wrote them and they admitted they sell smaller than advertised Discus. It has to do with their competitive price point. Their shipping cost is very reasonable when compared to other Discus sellers and their shipping process is excellent though not fast. Shipped from New York to Washington state. Received the next day. They were all warm, healthy and swimming up-right when they arrived well packed!
We bought 18 fish and they all arrived alive!! It’s been 2 days now and they’re all still alive. I love how everyone claims to be an “expert” fish keeper but all their fish die! I ordered 18 and not one died! I think the owner does everything in his power to get the fish to you alive and after that it’s up to you. I think people have unreasonable expectations and don’t realize how hard it is to ship fish and not have some risks associated with it. We’re very happy with our fish and would not hesitate to buy more in the future.Thank you! 🙏👍👍
Edited: Long story short, we ordered over $500 in fish, mostly cichlids, some bettas and guppies. We knew that it would be a couple of weeks before our order shipped as it was indicated on the website. When it did ship, FedEx dropped the ball and the fish arrived several days late, and of course, were dead. There were a few fish that were miraculously alive, but they were clearly sick, and have died since. We kept in touch with ifish about our order throughout the ordeal. FedEx was going to pay for the entire order, and reimburse either myself or Ifish. When Ifish told us they would resend the order, we reasoned that they would complete the claim, and essentially were paid once by us, and another time by FedEx, not losing any money in the meantime, as it should have been. Once the fish arrived, we spoke to them and they shipped out another order within a day or two, and we did get them as expected. The fish we received were beautiful, seemed healthy, and they arrived on time this time. The main issue, was that because of their Buy 10 get 2 free African Cichlid sale, we purchased more than we otherwise would have... When we got the replacement order, my husband was anxious to get the fish acclimated and into the water and did not count as he went. When I got there, it looked like there werent quite as many fish as there should have been and I tried to count them, which proved to be impossible. I took a couple photos to try to count them but was only counting around 70, give or take. We had the idea to count the bags that they were individually packaged in, and we were missing 8 cichlids. I emailed them last Wed., (Today is Mon), and have not heard back. I resent my email this morning... I told them in the email that I am totally fine with either a refund on those 8 fish, or if they want to ship out 8 m ore cichlids, thats fine too. Im sure it was an oversight, but it does need to be corrected. Ill edit as I can.
I went to the fish store had a great experience in there the guys are very knowledgeable I brought 10 African cichlids one fish perished but all the others are doing great.there fish tanks are pristine I really like this place definitely be going back soon thank you frank and victor
I ordered something from these people as a gift for my son. First they shipped it 2 weeks late hafe of my order arrived dead. I took pictures and videos of me opening the box of dead fish And sent it to them. They were not surprised at all. And asked if I wanted a refund and I said no I want live animals that I ordered I paid 39 99 shipping they said they also would not refund. And they had a really bad attitude basically they scammed me Go through a reputable company that stands behind its products and provides service to its customers. Do not buy from Ifish store
I ordered 16 small size of various fancy goldfish and have waited about a week before doing my review, when they arrived I was actually kinda surprised that they were all in the same package, the site does state that tho don’t feed them for a day or 2 before they are shipped and they are shipped overnight so it would be less waste! They all arrived healthy and eager to eat, no suspicious illnesses or questionable spots or behaviors! They have all done very well and they all look great,
I ordered five discus from this website on the buy 5 get one free deal. My 2-inch juvenile discus arrived yesterday and I carefully followed the acclimation instructions that came with the fish. Part of this acclimation procedure is to keep the room dimly lit and the aquarium light off for several hours after initial transfer . After 4 hours I was anxious to see what my fish look like. I must say I was not disappointed. All were brilliantly colored And three of them had above-average shape. I did find that my order was slightly off. I received one extra of one color and one missing of another. I called as soon as I noticed this discrepancy and they are handling it.I will post grow out pics in one month.
We ordered 4 Cichlids from IFish. We are so impressed with the shipment and how beautiful the fish are. They are absolutely vibrant and beautiful! They fared really well with shipping and they had lots of energy! We followed the acclimation directions and they were so happy! They even ate right away. We definitely will be repeat customers!
I ordered 14 African Cichlids about 2 weeks ago and this is my first time ordering fish online. The packing and shipment went great for me. The fish arrived healthy and alive. I followed the instructions and acclimate them correctly. They are doing great a week into it, both of my yellow sunshine peacock did die and I don’t know why, but besides that it was a great order.
Ordered from this company thinking it would take a week for my shipment to arrive, they email me back saying it would be over a month before I received my order after paying $30.00 for the shipping fee....? I was told the shipment is delayed due to snow/weather and company is located in new york. I placed an order with LIVEAQUARIA which I highly recommend, a day after I placed my order with this company and my order is to arrive in 3 days from my order placed. Liveaquaria is located in Wisconsin by the way.... The end to my story here is I believe this company is trying to sale fish to their customers that have not even been reproduced yet and lying about the shipping. I asked for a refund and they did not even try to extend any customer service hospitality. This has been a complete horrible experience for me and I truly just wanted to post this so hopefully no one will have yo experience what I did and can take their money to a company that is happy for your service.
I was skeptical about ordering from this company as Ive been burned in the past, ordering fish from stores/farms Ive never heard of. Nevertheless, I took a chance after reading all of the positive reviews. That said, Im glad I made the purchase. Not only did my fish arrive on time, but they were also exactly what I asked for. They were both healthy and beautiful, stellar quality all around! Ill certainly be ordering from this company in the future as I expand my fish keeping hobby.
Ordered 12 African Cichlids and received all in good health. This was my first time ordering fish online and from this experience with the iFish store, I will definitely order more. Even with these hectic days, they pulled through. It took about a week to receive and arrived well individually packed with a heat bag and insulated. Their prices are phenomenal. At the time, they had a buy 10 get 2 free special and it was well worth it.
I was worried about ordering online but decided to take a leap and ordered 13 Cichlids, ALL were delivered alive, I was worried as I am in a cold climate but they all looked healthy. I followed the acclimation steps and they are all over the tank, none are hiding or acting stressed. Edit the heat packs are still warm and the fish did eat tonight.
Got a text when they shipped and they arrived next day! Ordered African Cichlids, Fish arrived healthy! Very colorful fish look just like in pictures if not better❤️. Followed the instructions, no issues at all . Few hours later they were already eating! 😊boxed up perfectly, packaged with care using appropriate materials to ensure safety of your fish. Awful customer service. Placed an order 10 days ago and still has not shipped. Got an email after 7 days from order saying they were out of a fish and I suggested any similar replacement would be fine. Then today they told me another fish is out of stock and clearly wasn’t going to ship this week if they haven’t even began the fish quarantine.I did an order with some other websites that are much faster and at least respond quickly to orders.
Ordered their special offer for 10 discus for $159. The fish arrived in good shape. They were shy at first, but they came around, and now they are eating a lot. I was very reluctant at first, but wanted to get a good value. I was looking elsewhere and they wanted an arm and a leg for these fish. Ifish store is definitely a good value. The discus are a little small but I like to raise my fish from a young age, so it works out. Every time I had a question, I call their contact number and someone always picks up. They always answer my question with great knowledge and respect. I definitely will be buying from you guys again. One more thing, there is a nice lady that deals with all the ordering, and she is so sweet. I asked for all my discus to be labeled as to what strain they were, and they were nice enough to do it for me. Thanks Ifish. You got me for life.
I ordered 7 discus from the store. They all arrived today alive, Im so happy. There all in the tank doing well so far. Next time I need fish Ill definitely be using the same company. Any one interested in tropicals I highly recommend this place. We live in Ohio and they got here in one day. 😘 after of course the quarteen process was complete
If I could give them 10 stars I would! Talk about a great experience! Like many others, weve spent countless hours and wasted money on fish from big chain pet stores, only to have them die or to have them bring sickness to our tanks.I found The iFISH Store online and decided to give them a try after reading other reivews.They have NOT disappointed me! I placed an order then my kids wanted some as well so I reached out and they were happy to add to my existing order.We decided which ones to add and they did that for me. They sent me a paypal request for the additional fish and then they started preparing our order.It was literally picked up by Fedex last night and was on my doorstep at 8:11am this morning!!! Were talking New York to Missouri!ALL fish arrived alive and are now in the acclimation process to their new home!We will be using them from here on out... (not to mention the time its going to save me from running all over searching for the fish I want)!Thanks Valerie and team!
I orderd about 18 discus but in 2 separate order. The fish has nice, round like disc shaped. But the color is not that good. First ordered i got is that too much peppering on the whole body. I have some discus that is same strain that i have in the tank at the time but mine is not peppering that much. But i still give it a try and order the second time and the color is much much better after i had complained about the color quality for the 1st order. My 1st order died 2 after 2 days. They replace the dead for future credit or refund to you so you have options which is really really good. So overall good fish shop online will order more in the future.
Super cool store with lots of fish both fresh and salt water! Ordered 3 discuss online one came in dead but they refunded me quickly. I then drove to NY to go to his store in person Frank is awesome and so is his brother in-law. I got 7 more from him and all of them survived! Love his store! Definitely recommend!!
Awesome! Prices are great and the fish look good. I ordered 2 discus and went back and placed another order because there was another one that I really wanted. They combined the shipping and refunded the second orders shippong cost. Fish arrived next day of shipment and were health .
I purchased 6 African cichlids from them. They arrived on time, actually said it would be 10:30 on the day, delivered 20 minutes earlier. Wish I could get the cable guy to be that accurate on arrival time. Fish were as advertised. Healthy, good color, acclimated well and are quite active. I am very pleased
Ordered 3 fish and one invertebrates. 1 fish died day of delivery and the other dies 3 days later. Both were reported to their customer service email. I was told they would not refund even though pictures were sent along with water test results. This is a horrible company that does not ship healthy fish. Their customer service is horrible as well.I had to go as far as contacting the sec of state in their state to get action. Move on to the next online retailer and do not waste your time or money on these unethical people.
Purchased 2 discus and 4 rainbow fish for my first online older and it was super easy. They all look beautiful and the rainbow fish were out and about as soon as they went into my tank. The discus are still timid and getting to know their tank mates but they look amazing!
I ordered 12 2in african cichlids. And what i received was 12 of the most beautiful fish Ive seen. I was hesitant after reading the reviews and seeing how well priced they were I figured there was no way these fish could be any good. Well having grown tired of Petsmart assorted cichlids I took the plunge with not much faith. The package arrived in good condition double bagged with receipt and instructions. Upon opening the bag the fish looked healthy but i wasnt impressed or disappointed as I had low expectations to begin with. I did the acclamation in a five gallon bucket so i couldnt see the fish for real. My tank is built into the wall so i cant see from the rear as i put tge fish into the tank i could here my Son raving about these fish. The kid is prank master so i wasnt expecting much. Let me tell you these are the most colorful 2in fish ive come across and made a wonderful addition to their petsmart tank mates. I look forward to filling my tank with your fish Thank you for a amazing experience.
I just got my shipment of cichlids in. iFish Store exceeded any expectation I had, by far! Not only are all the fish healthy, but their colors are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend this store to EVERYBODY. I called yesterday to check on which day they would be sending the shipment out and the customer service was incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
I recently made a purchased of 10 pairs of fancy guppies from iFISH. Although the fish arrived in excellent condition (very active, healthy, highly colorful and readily adapted to their new aquarium environment), I experienced a number of deaths of the fish within the first week of receipt. I emailed Frank at iFISH and he promptly sent me replacement fish for those that died. The replacement placement fish are thriving very well. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Frank and iFISH. I have no hesitation what-so-ever of purchasing fish from iFISH in the future.
Good Experience and Love My FishI ordered 5 fish (got a sixth free). My free fish has a slight deformation (doesnt bother me but may bother others). All fish have amazing coloring. I got two blue fish and they are actually blue and not silver! One fish has eyes that may be a bit too big (ie it may be slightly stunted).Frank was easy to work with. I emailed him a few questions before buying to ensure that I felt my set up would be successful. I also emailed him to ask about moving the delivery date, which also was easy.Fish arrived looking slightly less colorful but otherwise fine, and after following the acclimation instructions and a few hours of dark time they were bright and colorful. It took them a week to eat well, during which time I went out a bought several new foods for them to try. Again I emailed Frank and he got right back to me giving me some food and temp recommendations. Now four of my fish eat like little pigs, one still picks around, and one is in QT being treated bc he doesnt eat much and is too thin (the free one).So my recommendation is, if like me, you are looking to get into discus without dropping $500 on new fish, and you dont mind slight imperfections as long as the fish are beautiful and mostly healthy, I would definitely recommend iFish Store.
Its my fist time ordering Fish online and i was not to sure about it you know me not being able to pick out the fish i liked or were the fish going to be healthy but this has been one of the best experiences Ive had.I ran into a problem with my fish tank during the process i called and they were more than happy to hold my order into further notice once i got my tank back on track they send my order next day air and it got here right on time fish looking healthy very very well packaged i couldnt be happier.I went to a couple of other sites before i made my decision and I couldn’t have picked a better one.I would definitely recommend these people they were excellent in delivery, service and making sure the livelihood of the Fish was not in jeopardy.Thank you!Thank you!
This was my first time ordering online. I decided to go with this approach due to the lack of local options and variety because of the COVID-19 restrictions. I decided to goggle and research options for shipping fish and stumbled upon The iFish Store. I visited their website and read the reviews thus making the decision to try them out. First I was impressed with their detailed communication based on the effects of COVID and their business as well as the consumer. Secondly, their willingness to maintain the sale cost and include a 10% discount on your total purchase. Lastly, the detailed care in packaging and guidance instructions on how to care for your fish upon delivery. I must say, the fish are doing extremely well, good quality, economical, have variety and my family & I are very pleased. All of the aforementioned examples out weigh the cost for overnight shipping (so do not let that deter you). I will recommend them and will use them again going forward. Well Done and Thank You!
My experience with The IFISH Store was extremely amazing . My 6 Discus fish are awesome arrived healthy and looked adorable, I loved how fast they got here , the fish were packed very well . Fish bag was perfect sealed. The fish size was a nice medium they are doing well and enjoying swimming around my fish tank , thank you so much . I’m appreciate it !!! I dont like to give bad reviews but i dont recommend buying a discus from this seller. I had place two different orders. 1st order i recieved was a old dying fish which it was supposed to be a 4 rose red discus. The fish i got was dying with no strip down the eyes and was looked very pinkish pale white. I report it to frank and he gave me a refund after submitting the picture. Since he gave me a refund I decided to give it another chance. I buy 4 more discus which was the second order. He sent me out a yellow discus with its nose very red like it had a nerve issue around the nose. I decided to watch it for a few days for it to go away, which it did disappear. On the same order he sent me out a fish i didnt order. I got a super red turquoise, now i have 2 of the same fish. The red turquoise was suppose to be a snake skin discus. On top of that he gave me a pigeon discus which had all marks on it like it may have a skin disease. I dont trust this seller and i believe he got someone to write his reviews. I wish i read the reviews before i bought the fish because everyone is complaining about the discus. He mention these fish will be checked and quarantined for 48 hours or more. He sends out fishes with issues or their not pretty. The packages are very well pack and i dont understand why these fishes are ugly or with problems. They supposed to be healthy right frank? Dont give your customers ugly fish and unhealthy. You should be the one keeping the unhealthy fish and the non pretty ones. Most of the fish i got looks nothing like the fish he sent. I guess you get what you pay for.
We ordered several fish and we love them and we live in Waycross Ga. They came from N.Y and they were BEAUTIFUL. Great place to get fish. Than k you IFishStore for our beautiful fish. I recommend this store to get beautiful fish and great deals. We lost one and on the second order he replace it and thank you for that . I love my fish.
Very disappointed with the service because a couple days ago I ordered a bunch of fish from their website and they appear as 100% off witch make me very exited because I was getting free fish and I was only paying for delivery so I placed the order and I got charged, the next day I receive an email that It was an error on the website and that I was not getting any fish and that I was gonna get a refund and I never got my money back so I’m not happy that because or their error I lost my money.And I’m not ever asking to get the fish because I was already explained that it was an website error, I’m only asking to get my money back
PLEASE DO NOT BY FROM THIS SELLER! He choose the all the weakest fish shipped to my door. Seller seems to just care about money and not about fish. I have a dead fish arrive on arrival 3 months ago and have two that never grown with the rest of the groups. The others are salt and pepper color and does not match the description of fish I bought. The other 4 fish, 2 pair of them are the same fish. I choose 1 each different fish so I dont have have any same ones. This seller shouldnt be in business for selling to customers with this type of business. The seller will say the same thing about they change color on there own. These fish shouldnt be weak, dead, salt and peppered and none looks nice as the fake pictures he has on his site.
Frank is not a very big conversationalist, and some would probably consider that as non-professionalism. Nevertheless, he responded to my emails and calls (in a brief manner). The first 5 2 discus fish that I had ordered arrived in good condition, and despite the fact that I expected some fatalities, having in mind that discus fish are very sensitive especially at this age, they all survived, and actually started picking at food two days later. Its been 3 weeks and they all eat well and fight over food with my voracious angelfish. One of them (a blue diamond) was smaller than 2 (1.5) and I was afraid I would lose it because the others were bullying it, but so far, so good. They are my first baby discus so I cant say too much about their colors other that they look a bit more colorful than when I got them. I am already waiting for my next 3 discus that I ordered.
I have had a well established cichlid tank for years and never had any problems until I ordered from this company. I ordered 20 fish: 10 demasoni and 10 electric yellows. About 5 days after acclimating the new fish, I noticed fuzzy white areas (not ich) on 2 of the yellow fish which usually means fungal infection. Within a week, 7 yellow fish died. Then a few of our well established fish died. Now the demasoni are dying. We started with 35 fish and have 7 left! Four more died today. We checked our water throughout the process, but it was perfect ph and nitrite/nitrate levels. We took it up to our reputable local fish store and had them check it and they agreed our water is pristine. Even after repeated water changes, our fish are dying. Frank, the owner of this company was extremely rude when I ordered initially. I canceled my order because of his customer service, but decided to give him another chance and now I’m losing all of the fish in my entire tank! I dont even want to ask him for his input because of the way I was treated in the past. I would like to inform other customers to stay far, far away from this company.
Overall good experience. The shipping time was not confirmed and I was not going to be home so I had to have hold at location. I probably should have added that I needed it to arrive any day BUT Wednesday.I ordered several nice goldfish. All were in one bag but in good shape. Sizes were very nice. The calico pearlscales are my favorite. The black butterfly looks like it might have a couple spots of ich. I will keep an eye on him. The only fish I was not 100% satisfied with was the red and black oranda. While a nice looking fish, it was not red but more of a dull gold. I might trade him in at the local fish store. Otherwise great for unseen fish. I would use them again.
DO NOT buy from here.I placed an order on 5/24/19Shipped 6/4/19Recieved on 6/4/196/4/19 one of my discus arrived barely alive, a few hours later it was dead.6/5/19 another discus died6/6/19 2 more discus dies6/18/19 my last 2 discus died.My PH levels are 6.5, water temp is 85.6 degreees, feed them frozen blood worms, and brine shrimp and are in a 85 gallon already running tank.I have emailed FRANK multiple times asking for a refund and now, he is not responding. I have emailed 6/18/19, 6/19/19, and 6/21/19 and i have yet to receive anything back. My total cost was $99.99 plus tax and shipping was $40.00 for the discus. So much for there GUARANTEE FISH. I will never order from this place again. I urge everyone NOT TO ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. THERE FISH DO NOT LAST, WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR CONCERNS AND WILL AVOID YOU. not happy at all for this place. I will be getting a hold of the BBB to make a complaint. All i am wanting is my refund for the fish i purchased that did not last not even a month.
First I was very skeptical about ordering my fish on line , My delivery was perfect, all 13 of my fish arrived alive, I had a mix up with one of the fish I ordered, Valarie immediately credited my account for the fish I didnt receive, so that says a lot for the customer service, I had a very good experience and I will continue to get my fish from here
Open on Sundays. Plenty of parking. I thought they opened at 1100 am Sunday 4-14-19. They opened at Noon. I arrived 20 minutes before Noon and they allowed me to come in and make a purchase. Clean, friendly and quality fish. Im setting up a Demasoni/Lab tank. The blues arevibrant and rich on the Pseudotropheus demasoni & Electric Yellow Labidochromis. Yellow really pops. All fish are healthly and of the finest quality. I highly recommend purchasing from The Ifish Store.
I ODER 4 FISH,FROM iFISH Store EXPECTING Good Service..But when I Received my order one fish was DEAD.......I Follow all the Procedures to Claim the WARRANTY; I Email them twice..Nothing ..In paper they Said the WARRANTY is 100%...NO TRUE...Dont look good for the Business...If they CARE!!!
Terrible customer service from Frank.Unprofessional in time management and the way he answered the phone. I was promised a livestock delivery between 10AM-12PM. It is almost 3PM as I write this. My main concern as a consumer is the safety of the livelihood of the fish that I have purchased. This is completely unacceptable.
I just purchased 6 2 Discus fish from Frank and although UPS was late the fish did well. I followed the instructions that came with the fish and they did well acclimating. The fish I ordered were just what I wanted. I am very pleased with my experience with them. Might want to wait till after the Holiday season to order since UPS is Overloaded with orders, My fault for my impatience. Thanks Frank!!
Dont personally no no one there but that doesnt matter if youre buying and paying for what you want and they give you the good service so why speak negative I give him a five-star for the simple reason did Whiteside give some other good information to others fish stores dont have so from Connecticut to New York its just a little trip
Purchased 10 fish total and did all instructions fromThem I also quarantine the fish to make sure but slowly the fish started growing white spots and slowly killing the fish even after medication and water changes, it makes me sad that all the fish i got from died just after having for a few days because they do have a good selection of species of fish but I guess the health of the fish is bad not matter we did the fish just seemed doomed to die and infecting our already stable fish...
Great experience with Frank I was there years ago with a guy that owned a pet store and thought the place was great I’m glad he’s open to the public now I’ve been there twice lately and does the right thing he actually remembered me I am recommending this place to all my friends that have tanks thanks frank

2022-01-18Been buying discus for the past three years from here. I bought two random discus from ifish store several months apart and within the last year they decided to mate in a community tank with other discus. So I guess that’s as natural as it gets hahaha. Now I have lil baby fry’s and will start the process of getting them in another tank soon.

I ordered five 3 African Cichlids which came to about $120 including shipping cost.Ordering/Website+ Easy to navigate with fish organized by species+ Full color photos of all fish+ Helpful descriptions that include tank size, temperature, food, pH, and compatibility recommendations+ Clear pricing and inventory availability+ Excellent selection of freshwater fish- I had difficulty using a VISA gift card on the website, but was able to call and a very help woman assisted with placing the order over the phoneShipping/Delivery+ Cost: $40 flat rate regardless of number of fish for next day delivery+ Fish were packaged very well with each fish individually double bagged and then all bagged fish placed in another bag; this prevented any leakage, but newspaper was placed on inside walls of box just in case+ Temperature was maintained using disposable heaters, so even though they shipped from NY in early January, the fish water arrived still warm- My order took longer than 7-10 days to ship as outlined on their website, but the store was apologetic and explained it was due to a backlog of orders over the Christmas holiday when they were closed (order placed on 12/27/21 and shipped on 1/8/22)- Next day delivery isnt guaranteed based on geographical area, but the store does take this into account and ensures the fish can safely survive even if not delivered next dayFish Condition/Quality+ An acclimation guide is included at the very top of the box on top of a piece of foam covering the fish; this acclimation guide is VERY important+ After following the acclimation instructions and introducing the fish, they all looked healthy, size-accurate, and mostly colorful (one blue fish was more white, likely due to stress, but regained color within a few hours)+ The fish all ate on the first day, and are alive and well on day two- The live arrival guarantee is very restrictive, and requires the customer to contact the store within two hours of the package arriving for any dead fish; I think a full 24 hours would be more generous, but the owners have said in past review responses they are willing to work with customers on a case-by-case basis when it comes to perished fish- It would be a good idea to place a large red STOP sign at the top of the acclimation guide stressing the importance of reading it first before taking the fish out of the boxOverallMy initial concerns about ordering fish online were shipping cost, fish quality, and selection. The iFISH Store exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I also appreciated their timely and pleasant communication with the two minor hiccups of not being able to use a gift card on the website and the delayed shipping. I highly recommend the iFISH store for freshwater fish and would happily do business with them again.

2022-02-19I have bought fish twice from here and I have no idea why I did it after the first go round. I have a well established clean and always healthy set up ordered 3 cichlids and a couple others and just like last time they came quick but were still weak. Im not sure how you measure but if they were truly 1 1/2 they would have been fine the biggest was 3/4 others were1/2 bout the size of a kidney bean but skinnier . No way these fish should be shipped to anyone they cant take it. Exact thing happened the first time but many less this time. Save the hassle dont buy small fish here. I finally learned that one.

2020-02-05I chose these guys for my first time purchasing live fish online and they did not disappoint! I bought 8 juvenile discus fish and they all arrived on my doorstep alive and in great shape. They were packed safely and came with thorough instructions on acclimating them to their new tank. A month later they are growing and thriving and are a joy to behold.

2020-07-23Came in person to this establishment to buy some fish. The in-person “store” isn’t your conventional fish store.. I’d say it’s more of a warehouse that just allows people to go in person out of interest to expand their reach into the pet store market. The store itself was dirty, there was water on the floors all over the place, and there isn’t even a sign outside there. My actual review is based on the service and the fish themselves. Some of the fish do look in sad conditions but many of them look great and they have a huge selection of fish! There isn’t really “service” as they just tell you to grab a net and a plastic jar and catch the fish you want. (I got some African cichlids - 5 small ones for 30 bucks) Once you have selected the fish you want, they’ll bag it up for you. Side note: for in person purchases it’s cash only but the prices are super affordable.

2021-03-27Ive ordered 2 blue but changed my mind weeks later in hopes of changing order. I called and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful, nice, and informative. She helped me change my order to 10 2 variety and i have to say I am completely satisfied. All 10 fish arrived alive and healthy. A few began eating on day one and ALL began eating on day two. Adapted with my other discus vary fast and well worth the wait. Wait time was a little long but it was expected and listed on the website so it wasnt a big deal for me. Will definitely do be doing buisness again in the near future. 10/10

2020-10-17Great selection! I needed to stock my 75 gallon with mbuna, and they had exactly the ones I wanted! They arrived quickly, not stressed out and without disease, still have all 30 of them them. Great customer service and pricing!

2021-02-25Disappointed in the coloration of my fish to say the least. I ordered Red Marlboro and Red Melon and received yellow and orange fish. I was told to wait a year, and they will color up. While I know that it takes that long to reach full color potential, were not even in the right ball park. I received a 10 pack assorted previously, and none of their colors changed that dramatically. It was just a cop out to send me fish they didnt have. If they were out of a specific color, I would have gladly reordered. But I already have 2 orange and yellow discus. I was trying to buy a variety. Thats why I chose to pick out the specific fish this time around. Not happy with the colors, and will go somewhere else in the future. I could have paid $20 more and gotten 10 random, and been better off.

2020-03-01I always avoided Discus due to how expensive they are. I chose theifish store for my first-ever online purchase and discus purchase. Their prices are the best Ive found. I purchased seven, 2-2.5 inch discus and two tetras. All arrived safely and in great condition. Clear acclimation instructions. Its been a almost a week and all my fish are doing wonderful. So happy as I was skeptical about ordering online and with such reasonable prices. My husband and I are very happy with our experience. I would definitely recommend them and I will be buying from them in the future.
