Very unique place with I can honestly say the best customer service I have ever received. The owner took the time to find out what my situation was so he could make the best recommendations concerning my koi pond. Did not push for a sale just worked to give me info and educate me on my koi pond and how best to take care of it and my fish. They have beautiful fish reasonable priced and everything else you need to properly care for your pond and fish. Neil is very passionate and knowledgeable about koi, koi health and pond maintenance. We bought our koi last weekend. He spent a lot of time with us, we didn’t feel rushed and felt very comfortable buying our first koi from his farm. He followed up multiple times after the purchase to check on the koi and how they are adapting. He offered a lot of resources that gives us confidence about starting our koi hobby. Highly recommended and will only purchase from his farm knowing that the koi is in best health.
I found Neil on a Facebook group for Koi Pond owners. Neil took the time to talk to me on the phone several times about various issues I was having with the pond. Neil recommended a product called Clear Lake, which is a pond and lake clarifier as well as K1 Nitrifier, which is a live beneficial bacteria. Keep in mind, my pond has been green since it was installed two years ago, I tried every chemical known to man, with no success. I took Neil’s recommendation and ordered the Clear Lake and K1 Nitrifier from him. I followed his instructions, and in just a few weeks my pond is now crystal clear. In fact, it’s over 7’ deep and I can see every detail on the liner at the bottom. I couldn’t be happier with Neil’s advice, the products he sold me, and his company, Koi Story. It rare to find someone who is as helpful as Neil. I’m blessed to be his customer and friend.
I would highly recommend this place for pond and koi fish needs. I have dealt with this company on more than one occasion, not only was I happy with the service.. Neil is extremely knowledgeable and capable. He clearly loves what he does. More importantly, he loves his fish. It would be unthinkable for Neil to place his little friends (children) in harms way. You can trust that your experience, whatever the need, will be met with joy and zeal.
We bought the ProLake ClearLake Pond & Lake clarifier (beneficial bacteria) thinking it can’t hurt, so we weren’t expecting much since our water is clear and we only struggle a bit with string algae, but the product far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend both the product and the company. The owner is great to work with, super responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. I often see him posting helpful responses to folks questions on public forums and took a chance on a product he offers. Glad we did! Thanks Neil!
I purchased a house just before thanksgiving which has a pond that I had no knowledge of taking care of. I called many pond companies in the area and none of them could do it in less than a week. Koi Story Fish Farm picked up the phone and guaranteed that the pond would be taken care of and new fish added before my thanking giving celebration began. They also removed all the leaves from my yard for 7 hours. My pond and house look spectacular and my friends complemented me on my new fish. The team came back and enclosed my pond for the winter. I was so impressed with their service, I will have them come back in the spring to expand the pond. He has A1 service and goes above and beyond what anyone else offered.

I am thinking about getting a koi pond installed. I called the Koi Story Fish Farm to get so information. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable explaining many different types of ponds and filtration. They invited me over to see their koi which were indoors. i could not believe how beautiful they were. He explained to me the different koi and the difference between domestic and imported. It was such a great educational experience. I can not wait to have my pond built. They said it was important to research and gave me many links to learn. They will not just try to sell a product without educating you first. When i am done researching I will definitely have them do my installation.

Neil thank you so much for your help in the spring. I now have appropriate pump, good aerator and plenty of plants. Fish are doing great and seems to be a healthy ecosystem. 2022-05-24We decided to have Neil and his crew clean our pond this year and were completely satisfied with the job. These men worked very hard at making sure our fish were safe and not stressful as they put all their energy and effort into transforming our pond. They went above and beyond in securing a small structure within the pond by adding and adjusting different rocks to make it look so much better and safe. I felt so at ease with them as they worked on my pond. The job they did was outstanding.

2022-07-01Neil was so helpful with Dx my koi with carp pox. I had tried all treatments and was worried he would die and had no idea what he had till I sent pictures to Neil and he informed me what it was. Thanks to him I don’t have to waste more money on treatments that are useless. Neil was also punctual with getting back to me

2021-07-13I recently became a new homeowner and moved into a home that has a beautiful koi fish pond. I had no idea on what I needed to do in order to care for this pond. I was completely overwhelmed because I had no idea who to call or what to do to get this pond up and running s/p winter months. I received Neil’s number from a landscaper that recommended him and I am so happy I made the call. Upon first conversation Neil was very reassuring and offered assistance right away. He showed up the very next day and told me all the products I needed to get the pond up and running. Now my pond is running well and I can clearly see my fish. He is available for questioning at all times and truly took the time to educate me which means so much to me. He even did follow up calls just to check on me n my fish!!!
