The LaGuardia Hotel in other cities:
First of all, we couldnβt find the hotel because of the new name. We booked the Holiday Inn La Guardia but it was this address. Then even though the website said that there was a free airport shuttle (the main reason we booked), we were told it βwasnβt running currentlyβ with no apology. The receptionist was extremely inhospitable (even though she works in the HOSPITALITY) industry and did nothing to help us or apologize for the renovations, lack of shuttle, lack of amenities etc. The decor was obviously a conglomeration of stuff from other hotels, and we could hear the person next door coughing/throwing up at 4am through the walls. Never again!
If I can rate this hotel lower I would. The front desk staff Ms. Rita is so rude. At first she was polite. Then I was trying to explain what I needed help with and was cut off repeatedly. I just exited the holiday inn with no help. Also I called and was giving wrong information by hair as well that I can rent a room and when I did come to the facility I was turned away because it has been converted into a shelter.
They are currently closed. They cancelled our reservation for this weekend and never notified me. If I had not gone in to look up the amenities I would have shown up having no idea my reservation was cancelled. I was left finding a new place to stay the night before my arrival. I feel bad for anyone who booked a stay for Governorβs Ball and still have no idea its closed.
Although we stayed there for 4 days the staff was wonderful. The rooms were very clean easy access to train and I would recommend this place to anyone. Rita was so friendly and caring. Restaurant is downstairs and you get your moneyβs worth. Although we couldnβt check in early they let us keep our luggage there. Nice place and I will stay there again.
Very happy with the staff, service and facilities. From the beginning staff member Brenda was extremely helpful and cooperative. Our plans had changed and we ended up arriving to the hotel a few hours earlier than expected and Brenda gave us our room. Also, she helped us find our way to our next destination and kept our luggage for a few hours after checking out. The best part was her genuine attitude, professionalism and friendliness. Also, staff member Rita was very nice to us as well as the restaurant employees. The food was great, good portions and fresh. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. My wife and I are definitely coming back to the Holiday Inn La Guardia ππ
Our rooms were not ready until 4pm. Kids were exhausted driving thru New York traffic and this delay didnt sit well with us. Other than that rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Pine Restaurant located inside the hotel was a pleasant surprise indeed. 5 star service and food. There were 8 of us dining and everyone was happy.
I have stayed here several times. The hotel staff has always been nice and helpful.I have never had an issue with the rooms, they are always clean, the beds are comfortable. If you come to New York this is a place to stay.I have attended several events in the party rooms that they have available to rent. the food and drinks are provided by The Pine Bar restaurant that is attached to the hotel, the food is always great. Friday nights the bar has karaoke which is always fun.
Nice room, great bed and small fridge & microwave in room. Only issue was limited parking on the upper level as their their lower level parking lot was closed for renovations being done inside the hotel. But overall the staff was great and stay was great as well. Would stay there again if needed.
Outdated hotel, the hallways feel dirty and humid. The area around the hotel doesnt feel particularly safe at night. The room we stayed in was fine and the staff was friendly. We had however asked for a late check-out of which the cleaning crew apparently didnt know about and didnt seem to believe us about either, as they told us to make sure we straightened out our situation with the front office. That felt unnecessary and rude.
We have been to this Holiday Inn three times and enjoyed the experience every time. Theyve made noticeable improvements to the hotel (fridge and microwave in our room and Bath and Body works products). The front desk people are kind and courteous. Allison even refunded our final nights stay when our flight got bumped up by eight hours! Saved us quite a bit of money. Highly recommended as long as you understand its really reasonable for being so close to the airport and offers shuttles.
Hotel is close to airport, shuttle service. Now lobby looks inviting but when you go upstairs to rooms halfway looks disgusting. Rug dirty with stains and patches. It needs remodeling. Rooms are ok, but if rug looks dirty outside imagine the room rugs. Hotel needs upgrade. Customer service is excellent staff are all very helpful.
Speaking as a local neighbor in flushing, I only visit this hotel for the pool membership. Gorgeously kept pool complete with bathrooms and showers, an on duty lifeguard from 9a-9p, and hours that are open even on holidays! The pool is HEATED, and large enough for several families to enjoy from the 3 end to the 5 end. My wife and I practice laps while my kids enjoy the shallows. As regulars, I can say the hotel staff is awesome and courteous. Great choice for a place to stay!
We had an early check-in and an upgrade. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel room we got has a great view looking at Citi stadium. It was clean and tidy. The king size bed was comfortable. Restaurants are in walking distance. Overall a very nice hotel at its price.
Stayed here a bunch of times when I was in a pinch only because of a discount. The lobby is nice and thats about it. The rooms are dated, small, and ugly but clean. The bathrooms are even smaller with no counter space. I never thought Id complain about to much water pressure but I aint tryna shower or wash my hands with a fire hose. Also most of the showers dont really drain which is very gross. Honestly this place sucks but will do in a pinch. Shuttle service to the airport is on point tho
Wanted to give this place a shot as its in walking distance to the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. Aside from location, this place doesnt have much else going for it. The property needed refurbishment probably 15 years ago. The property is in poor shape and the neighborhood is even worse. I didnt get a good nights rest as the walls were paper thin and I could hear traffic noise most of the night. Im a platinum member and I felt they probably gave me one of the nicer rooms on the hotel. Id hate to see the rooms on the lower floors. Breakfast was overpriced and they only had two staff to attend to a full dining room. Ill stay elsewhere and uber it to the venue next time.
Average hotel. Its definitely been several years since its been updated. Beds are pretty rough. But there is a fridge in the room and the restaurant downstairs is actually really good. The main reason I stay here is the proximity to the subway and the airport. Quick shuttle ride to the airport and about 4 blocks to the subway.
I stayed here 12/30/2019, Erica at the front desk was so nice and took the time to help plan my trip in New York. I dont know if she is the manager but she surely presents herself like one. The rooms were newly renovated. There is a supermarket, and restaurants near the nearby metro subway 7 line. I enjoy being there and will return sometime.
Not bad with the hotel. The staff is great and polite to newcomers. Rooms is good. Still has the 70s look from halls and bathroom. Need upgrade. On the other again the staff, room and they care for their customers to relax and had a place to stay. I think I will return again next time.
Stayed at this hotel before taking an early morning flight to Mexico out of LaGuardia Airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We arrived around 10pm and left for the airport at 3:30am so we didnβt get to enjoy any of the amenities. The shuttle ran 24 hours and got us quickly to the airport for our departure.
Just good. Everything you expect from a holiday inn. Plus there is a restaurant that does many dishes and not just hamburgers and steaks.. the stuff is really polite and helpful. The hotel itself needs renovation. Its dated... But clean. No problems at all. Recommended.
Entrance was nice. Room on the 8th floor was extremely clean and very nice. The carpeting in the room was clean, soft, and comfortable. The ice makers in the hallway are extremely helpful. Clean, nice pool! Large and deep enough to swim in. Male lifeguard on duty 9am-9pm. The gym equipment is good. Great location.Stay higher up in the hotel. The hallway carpeting in the LOWER floor hallways are extremely old and disgusting.Recommend nearby restaurants, including Grill Point, Bagel Boss, Carlos and Gabbys, Annies Chinese, and Benjys Pizza, all on Main Street in nearby Kew Gardens Hills. In Manhattan, I recommend Eden Work on 34 Street.
Ownership should lose their Holiday Inn affiliation. Really, how do they keep the logo?? Management, on the other hand, seems good: the restaurant servers are very good and the front desk staff is great. Dirty, torn carpets in the hallways AND bedrooms (disgusting!) and a room door (metal) so out of plumb that it required slamming to close. Something woke me at 5:20 a.m. - perhaps another door like mine that wont close quietly? The tile is the bath has been patched repeatedly and is ready to fall out... Holiday Inn corporate inspectors - where are you? Respond, please? This place needs MUCH renovation or a complete rebuild. And the cheap plastic window curtain wouldnt close completely either.
Nice, clean hotel. Nothing special although it did have an exceptional Fitness center. I got in a very good workout which says a lot for someone that is very particular to gyms with actual weights. Easy access to the 7 train as well that goes directly to Times Square and Grand Central station.
I booked this location in desperation after a flight cancellation...I will use this location all the time now when I travel from my office in CT back to home in NC!The room was quiet, the staff was super nice, the bed was comfortable, the heat was perfect in the room, the show was strong and hot.I really had a great stay, and I will certainly suggest it to my peers.
Shut the building down I was on my way to the hotel when I decided to call first.. The guy who answered said someone should have notified me, the whole hotel had to shut down. Insane. Unacceptable. I was traveling for four days with my daughter and her friend, both younger teenagers.
This is the dirties and most unclean hotel I have ever seen in my life. The carpets on the corridors and alley ways are dirty and stink. The room I stayed in looks shady and you will certainly smell cigarette and the beds smell funny. I donβt know why I even spent the night in this place. They also have the worst shuttle service, it took them an hour and half to get me from the airport.
My husband stayed there last night before starting his trip and does often. The Airline he works for uses this hotel often as well. This morning he awoke early to find no hot water to the entire hotel....in NY in Dec.... He had no choice but to take a shower so cold his skin felt like it was burning. Ridiculous. When he spoke to the manager Alex, he very rudely only offered a discounted room at the rate of $135 for his next stay..... You can book the same room in the $120s all day based on internet searches. The manager was rude and incompetent. Even once my husband told him that rate wasnt a discount. Alex felt no compassion, no incline to solve a situation that he was hired to handle. Nothing. My husband spoke to another Manager and they are working towards a resolution
Good and iffy. Decent price and ok location. Ther restaurant and bar are above average and the staff are friendly. The rooms are ther iffy part. Thin walls so I was awakened at 2am by the people next door....loud spanking and voices. The plumbing makes noise in the walls, the tub doesnt drain well, and the carpet is ratty. Bed was comfortable, but wifi is slow. Its a decent mid-tier hotel.
The staff here is phenomenal. The restaurant is good. A very short cab/subway ride to get where you need to go. Been to Queens/NY several times. This hotel is well worth it. Their staff is better than most and more than helpful. Ask for Brenda or Meghan at the desk. They can make miracles happen!
Weve had much better and we visit the city often. Major letdown after a long drive. Worst part was the heater in the room stationed directly next to the bed and blowing like a jet engine on and off all night long. Bed was ok but not the best. Towel in bathroom smelled odd. Staff was less than friendly. Only on-street parking. Wont stay again, especially for the price, with no breakfast included, it wasnt pleasant at all.
Check in time was 3pm and I got there at 3:15. The room wasnβt ready and I had to wait for an hour. Once we got in the room, the bathroom lights wasnβt working, so we contacted the staff and they couldnβt get it to work either. They gave us a lamp for the bathroom... outlets in the bathroom werenβt working so we had to use the outlet outside of the bathroom door and had to keep the door open for lights -_- Very disappointed
I would give this place a zero put it is not possible. They put my minor in a room on the other side of the hotel for starters. The free breakfast was not free put a paid breakfast by a cheap restuarant. We got our drinks and two out of four had dead flies in them. My daughters was a fruit fly, but mine was a smashed house fly, inside the mason jar glass. It was so disgusting. The hostess was not worried about this at all until our waiter explained the severity of the situation. Does anyone realize how dirty a kitchen is to have two out of four drinks to come out with infestation. This restaurant is not only a dirty mess it is a public health risk.
The customer service is stellar, has been helpful with getting me my refund back during these trying times. Dont book through 3rd parties and book directly with Holiday Inn!!! 3rd party booking sites have been so difficult with refunds, but Holiday Inn has been especially helpful in helping me get my money back for the cancelled bookings.
This is a great hotel with a good location to get to anything near the airport. The rooms are comfortably appointed and the staff is very friendly. The internet is no slow like some places Ive stayed which is always nice. The restaurant has some great Italian food so you want have to go far to find a good meal.
The hotel itself was pretty nice considering it wasnt particularly expensive. I got my room through a Priceline express deal and Id say it was definitely a good stay. The staff were helpful and cordial, and the parking, while expensive, did exist which is more than some manhattan based hotels. The subway connection is close (111th 7 line) and the room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice and I liked the bed. All in all the 4 stars is there because breakfast wasnt free, the parking was a bit pricey and the room amenities were a bit sparse. Overall its a good place, I would recommend
Staying two nights. Not spending a lot of time in the room due to being in downtown Manhattan. Super easy to get into Manhattan on the 7. There is also a shuttle to the airport. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are kind of small, but its great for what I needed!
I am a frequent traveler, 1-5 hotels a week, and in my almost 3 years in my profession I have never been so bothered by a hotel. The lobby was not terribly deceiving but as I stepped out of the elevator onto my floor, I was appalled at the dirtiness. I felt anxious and nervous to sleep in the bed. I was just incredibly uncomfortable. The bed slept fine after I medicated myself, but this was the first hotel Ive made a complaint about to my employer. I sincerely hope we pull our contract and I dont have to visit again.
Decent hotel, hallways are dingy and warn, bathrooms are dated. Rooms are well insulated from the noise from the road and planes flying in and out of LaGuardia. Breakfast in the restaurant is mediocre. Hotel has a shuttle service to and from LaGuardia which takes 15 minutes. Hotel has on-site parking. If I needed to stay near the airport, I would choose a different hotel.
Noisy. Hotel construction noise started at 7:30 in the morning. Why did management allow construction so early in the morning?I called the front desk and they offered to switch my room. Strange solution, I am checking out in a few hours and I am trying to sleep. How about not having construction 7:30 in the morning? Not good customer service.
Its a nice hotel, more outdated than other Holiday Inns but I really cant complain. The rooms were clean and the staff working there were helpful and very polite. We will certainly be back.I just wish there were USB ports or outlets on the night stands, we had only one and it wasnt working good.
Stayed two nights during new years Eve for the winter classic game at Citi field. Drove down from Boston. Pros: Room was nice, clean, and upkept. Tv, WiFi, and all the things youd expect from a hotel were great. On site parking was nice and close. Cons: rooms werent that insulated- meaning you could hear people walking around in the floor above you, and hallway noises easily. The bathrooms dont have a fan, and steam up easily. (Though we used this to our advantage and made a sauna one night.) One thing we found that was a pleasant surprise was the on site parking. Its there, and available for $22/ day (which isnt bad pricing for the area) though it wasnt listed on any site where we looked as an option. So a nice surprise, but I wish it was listed as an amenity.
Stayed here for a Mets game. The front desk staff put a rush on our room so we could check in early! Upon arrival our room was ready. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is a two block walk to the stadium so we were able to walk to and from the game. We also received great service and food from the bar! We will definitely stay here again for future Mets events!!!
Well, this hotel is close to Citi Field and the restuarant inside, The Pines, was awesome. Other than that, this is not a hotel I would stay at again. When we arrived check-in was easy and pleasant. Sadly in our room the TV didnt work and the shower floor had dirt on it. Upon further inspection we found that the drain in the shower was completely blocked. The water would not go down at all. Ugh! We did complain, but nothing was fixed. I mentioned all this again at check out and the desk clerk said nothing. Pretty frustrating overall.
I love the restaurant... They have a swimming class for kids. You cant even enjoy the pool without getting kicked out. The worst experience I ever had waste of money i was really looking forward to enjoy the pool with my 3 daughters they couldnt even enjoy it. We have to share the pool with a whole other kids who takes swimming lesson there. Not just that we got kicked out back to back because they had to clean up the pool. During the class lesson 2 kids would throw up and we had to wait for a hr and soo to go back in. If you really want to enjoy a hotel with pool this isnt the right place.
In many years of staying at thousands of hotels. This was the first hotel, I was actually scared to stay at. Outside has been renovated but the interior is awful for a Holiday Inn. It is at the standards of a run down motel. Cops are around, when we checked in cop cars were there, when we were leaving 3-4 cops showed up.Giving it a 2 star just because of the staff, they were helpful and caring.
Great customer service. Very nice front staff. Theres a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, as well as some pretty good food just a few blocks away. They have a parking lot for which you get charged per day, but there is plenty of free street parking in the neiborhood. Close to the 7 train. 10 to 15 mins from LaGuardia
I cant say too much good about this bar except that you can walk here from Citifield. I ordered a Guiness and it took 10 minutes to pour since something was wrong with the draft. I asked for ESPN and it took 30 minutes to change to it after asking 3 different people. The calamari salad was all salty calamari and very little salad. There is almost no parking around the building, unless you pay $25 for overnight hotel parking, and you still have to find a spot. The last straw was when I headed to the jukebox to play some old 50 Cent songs and the bartender immediately turned the volume down. Wow! Dont put it on the jukebox if you dont want it played in your bar. I asked why and she said it was too loud...but all the other songs werent huh? That was really disappointing and another table heard what happened and complained also. I left after that and wont be returning, ever.
Stay for an over night visit. Was given a complimentary kids eat free ticket by my agent who checked us in but she forgot to actually give it to us. Went back down before eating and another agent said just so u know, we dont normal gives these out. Ok. At The Pine Ordered the lasagna and asked for a plate to share and was told there is a $5 charge for sharing. Ridiculous. Room was nice and comfy. Stayed on the 8th floor with a great view and two queens sized beds. There is a $50 incidentals charge when u check in that Im still waiting to be returned.
Nice and convenience, close to La Guardia Airport hotel, I have not stayed overnight, my son and I using their swimming pool for a swimming lessons.Pool is clean with staff always there to help, It could have been a little more organized in sense the pool accessories stored in neater way
I never really love this hotel. The location isnt great, the rooms are fine but sometimes theres just something missing. I recently felt a bit ill after drinking a couple beers at the attached bar from the tap (Im guessing they needed to clean out the lines, also one was entirely flat) but the staff are kind and its okay. Gym is a little stuffy
As a flight attendant, we stay in a lot of places. This is one of my least favorite, while others i know dont mind it. Every time I stay here its different; sometimes my room has a mini fridge and microwave in it, sometimes there is neither. Im not crazy about the pedestal sink in the bathroom, or how the outlets in most rooms are loose, so when plug in my phone charger or laptop, the cord falls out. The beds are ok. Not the best Ive slept in, but not a brick. The biggest redeeming quality is probably the restaurant, which has some really great itlalian food. The gym is also pretty nice. Overall, for a single nights stay its ok, but i wouldnt really want to be there longer than a night.
Very nice place the beads were comfortable and the room spacious, I did had to call for the handyman for the bathroom thou the toilet wasnt working right but other than that the room was great. They have a pool even thou they didnt let me use it in the 2 months I was there they said it was in the process of remodeling it but they give classes to kids almost every day how?
Our party of five stayed here for three nights, September 22-24, for the World Maker Faire at the nearby Hall of Science and enjoyed our stay. Our three rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Iβm giving the hotel four stars instead of five because of an unresolved breakfast ticket dispute. Unfortunately, all of the hotel staff struggle with English, but they were friendly and well-meaning all the same. The attached restaurant is crazy overpriced by my reckoning. We had an excellent breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning at the Silver Spoon (a brief Uber ride away). We picked this place since it is walking distance to CITI Field, home of the NY Mets baseball team, where we saw a game Saturday night. Iβd definitely come back to stay if in the area again.
It was clean, the internet worked and it was convenient to the airport. I found the beds to be uncomfortable and the ac/heating unit in my room to be tempremental and that made for a pretty poor experience. Odd that the shower temperature controls were opposite of what they were marked at. The onsite bar was fun with terrific food.
Very dissapointed for a Holiday Inn.The hotel looks pretty good from the outside but the inside is mo like a category 2 hotel. Check-in experience was not bad, but couldβve been better. The hallways to your the room are dark and dirty looking carpet and the rooms are very old looking. The good thing is that is convinient for travelers out LGA because they offer complimetary shuttle to LGA airport.
I had a work training in their rooms. There was no reception in that room which was pretty annoying. The only had coffee and tea bags with hot water. Though I suspect if it was clean because I ended up getting sick after drinking the tea. The ac was either freezing or once it was off the room became hot. There was no in between.
Requested room away from elevator was put right next to elevator. Had to pay $22 dollars to park in the hotel parking lot. There was a club downstairs and we were put on the second floor where you could hear the music clearly throughout the second floor. Went to take a shower and turn on water the whole plumbing moved as well as the sink area. Prior to going to the room there was a young lady in a police officer costume, her and her boyfriend was making out on the chair in front of the elevators. As they can say only in NY!!!
Corona is a Hispanic community. If you walk to the subway it is a bit of a hike and not the best area at night. Our room was not as pictured. Small, not much counter space in the bathroom. No USB ports. No view. For the price I expected a lot more. They did hold our bags for us after we checked out till we needed to get to the airport.
I have spent several nights (on different occasions) for business at this location and my most recent was rather mediocre. I hope any who read this review may find it helpful if deciding on a hotel in the NYC area.On this last stay I was here for three days, which began off-foot. I always get picked-up at the the LGA airport at the same spot. The lady I spoke with when I requested a pickup asked question after question even though I tried to kindly explain where I was many times. I was told it would take about 20 minutes. The van driver did come to the correct terminal, though at the wrong spot and late. It took approximately an hour for me to get to the hotel, 1.4 miles away. When me and my associate arrived they only had one room assigned to us. My company has a contract with the hotel and we check-in at different times. I was told that I might not have a room either because it wasnt 3pm yet. I was able to get a room but my co-worker was not until sometime later in the day (or perhaps I didnt - my first name was completely different when she put me in the PMS)The room I was given was not cleaned, and the TVs volume was not adjustable and the power button on the remote could power it on, but not off (strange?). Also, throughout the night unknown, but loud noises persisted, until about midnight. The sounds resembled putting up of drywall in the adjacent room. I was not given an explanation of the disturbance. In the morning I spoke with William, the auditor, about my experiences. He was helpful and apologetic. However, the van driver left a few minutes early (while I was right there at the front desk) and left without three of us and without warning. We were told that we couldnt take the 5am van after that because it was full, and the hotel had to pay for a taxi.I returned later that evening for my second night. The driver was late again (though not as much as the day before) and I checked-in fine. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant (The Pine). I had to ask three people for their attention before I could begin ordering. I was frequently left at the table waiting while I watched the waiters and waitresses do other duties. I ordered a Chicken Milanese Hero, which wasnt bad. I purposely over-paid and left. I returned during my stay and asked a couple of the waitresses if I could get a little milk for coffee. They returned from the kitchen and requested $2. It didnt matter that I just ate there or that Im a guest at the hotel. They said that they needed a credit card before I could get some milk - this was my experiences just this past time at this hotel.Besides William, my other positive engagement was with Ivonne, at the front desk (she didnt have a name tag, so I had to ask). She was one of the few proactively pleasant employees at this hotel. I didnt interact with her much, but it was at least a welcomed change. If I have any further experiences, whether good or bad, I will do the courtesy to update it accordingly. I hope this is helpful to you.
The internet did not work at all and if it did, it was extremely slow to the point that nothing would load. When the lobby staff were contacted regarding this, they did little to nothing to solve it. They have a pool, but no hot tub and the pool closes relatively early though its nice they have a lifeguard. The lifeguard however spends most of his time chatting in the phone and disregarding who is in the pool.
Absolutely love the restaurant ... Pines of Queens ... the locals come in in droves especially if theres a game going on in the stadium across the expressway. Been eating here as a guest traveler for about 10 years. Always get a welcome back. New York City is one of the friendliest cities in the USA. You just have to find the right places, this is one of them. Down to earth ... Good Italian food, burgers & drinks. If youre not from the neighborhood ... you will feel like you are!
Stayed in early August. Thought it was fine. Walking distance to Citi Field. Nice bar and restaurant and the rooms did the job. Would recommend if you were taking in a Mets series. Not much to do in surrounding area, but overall a good experience... I believe its the only hotel close to Citi Field.
METS FANS!!!! If you are a Mets fan this place is perfect! This is our 3rd time staying here. You can walk to Citifield. Its clean and the staff is super accommodating and helpful. The restaurant has great food. If you have kids they will love the indoor pool. If you want to go into Manhattan the 7 train is like 3 blocks away and super easy to catch. It was my sons first time to NYC and his first Mets game and he loved every minute of it and the staff were really great with him. Great place..great value!
Non professional pool lifeguard and should call him βcellphoneguardβFell asleep while watching the kids at the pool And Walk outside the pool to talk on his cell phone. I think he canβt take his eyes off from his cell phone. He is rude and impolite. I saw him yelling at a guy and a kid to move away from him. So scared π±
If you need access to the Flushing, Citi Field, and the subway 7 line, this is a convenient, upstanding voice complete with a restaurant and access to an outdoor park. If you get a top floor, West or Northwest window, youll get superb panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline to the West. If you get a Northwest window, youll get a nice view of Citi Field.
Good hotel, and even better if u can get a room for a decent rate...pool appeared to be openPros: location proximal to airport, highway and train, stadiumpool, when its openrooms were larger than expected3 elevator banks, never had any waitvending machines were cheaphomely barConsappear to host swim lessons with children in poolneeds bathroom updatingneeds self checkin and bluetooth rm accessmorning breakfast mediocre and price not clearly advertisedstart up rent a car agency uses most of parking garage spacerecommendations: Go if you can get a good rate
If your not coming in a taxi dont come to this hotel there is no parking no where around the hotel n parking is always full i drive around for Hour and half to not find no parking had no choice but to park close to a fire hydrant and got a 115 dollar ticket not worth it at all

2022-07-03I only selected this hotel because it said a pool. THE POOL IS NOT OPEN, HAS NO WATER IN IT! Where are all the towels? Who is the owner? Purchase towels and better soap! Im sure this will be my only time staying here! Tried something new, never again. I normally stay in Manhattan. I thought it was going to be bad weather lol. Tricked me out of my stay but luckily I have someone with me. A shame the little restaurant/bar is NOT open! Step it up and do better !!!

2022-06-15Booked because they advertised an airport shuttle, no shuttle. Pool and restaurant closed due to remodeling. Keep in mind they are remodeling, said it was new but there were these weird cracks in my sink π³Dont want to make a big stink. If you dont feel 100 percent comfortable in your room, change it

2022-05-23Made a last minute reservation for a hotel stay near the airport to attend a funeral. This hotel was originally a Holiday Inn. When we called about the airport shuttle, (which they advertise on their website) we were told that they were not offering it. We also finally learned that although we had originally booked the Holiday Inn (it was more expensive than the LaGuardia Hotel), that both hotel reservations are under the LaGuardia hotel... if we had known, would have just picked the cheaper rate. When we got there, they were scrambling to function. Room keys were not working and we had to switch rooms twice. Also, it smelled bad in the elevator and both rooms we were in. Finally got a room with a functioning key card and all of a sudden, there is loud music playing on the streets. Mind you, this is 12:45 AM now. I called the front desk twice and they said they cant do anything about it but we can call 311 and make a noise complaint. I asked why arent they making the complaint, and the receptionist just responded with they are not disturbing us, just the guests so we are telling all the guests to call... we called 311 and there was a long wait time. I did not have the patience to wait at the 1:00 am to do the job of the hotel staff when I was there clearly for a personal matter. Finally around 2:30 pm the music stopped (or I was able to finally drown it out). The next morning attempted to make coffee. The coffee pods are clearly marked for Holiday Inn (which they told us has not opened in 2 years so these were old pods in the room). We also called about a late checkout, which they are able to accommodate until noon (however its a charge for $80). We asked if they could hold our baggage since were there for a funeral. Turns out, they dont have luggage storage. Seriously! This is the first hotel we have stayed at that does not have luggage storage (also considering they are so close to the airport). The receptionist was so rude at the time of our checkout, we got a lot of attitude from her because we were visibly upset about our stay here. By far, the worst hotel experience we have had yet.

2022-05-31Positive: Was new and clean, close to the airport. Liked that there was a microwave in the room. Negative: No blow dryer in the room. No coffee maker and no place to get coffee in the morning. But it is my understanding that the hotel is newly opened, so not quite settled yet.

2022-05-27We stayed here earlier this week and, due to high demand, the hotel was completely out of clean sheets and towels. We had to sleep in a dirty room with used sheets because of this.I have tried contacting them multiple times since to speak with a manager since we still had to pay the full rate. The woman working the front desk has been extremely rude (I told you to call back at X time... Yeah, I remember you, our manager will be in at X time like I told you...). Each time Ive spoken with her, Ive been given a different time.It feels like its a lost cause at this point, but I would strongly advise against staying here if you can avoid it.

2022-06-22False advertising. We stayed there because we needed an airport shuttle and they dont have one. For what we spent on Lyft we could have afforded a much nicer hotel closer to LGA. The staff was very courteous but the place was sketchy as hell with no outside signage, no restaurant, no working vending machines, no full size towels in our bathroom. Spend the extra money and go to a hotel with services included.

2022-06-12Good hotel within walking distance to Citi Field. It wasnt too difficult to find a parking spot but it might be during peak hours. Room was clean and sizeable. The roll away bed that was available was a plus! Will stay again.

2022-05-31Positive: Extremely easy to get to train and Citifield. An easy walk to both. On site parking was nice as well. Staff was friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank you Negative: No lounge for hanging out.

2022-06-07Oh wow, sometimes personel is faced with unexpected extreme situations. When Delta canceled all flights due to bad weather the queue in front of the desk lined up all the way to the parking lot.The girl behind the desk stayed calm and helped as many people she could as quickly and professional as possible. She answered the phone meanwhile, staying polite and professional.Ok, so the room was not jet cleaned, but frankly we didnt care, we had a room with a bed and bathroom. In this case, getting as many people in a room as possible was the correct call. Thank you.It was a short drive to the airport the other day, did not see much from the neighborhood, but I was told there is a train only minutes away going directly downtown.

2022-05-23This place deserves negative stars. Booked this hotel after a flight cancellation, we get there and there are 20 people waiting to check in with only one person working the front desk. Every person that checked in came back down saying their room wasnβt cleaned or someone was sleeping in their bed. This hotel also does not offer an airport shuttle or restaurant like is advertised online. Needless to say, we canceled our reservation.
