Mocha I ordered was pretty average, anyone could make that at home. Food had a wait so I pulled out my laptop to do some studying and was quickly shut down by the person in the back. Apparently they have a “no computers” rule. Pretty arrogant to bark at customers while you’re serving sub par food and drink, in a cafe that’s basically empty during the peak of lunch. Further more they had a sign that said “limit dining to 45 minutes max”. So if you’re coming, make sure to read up on the rules and not step outta line. Overall the actual cafe is unique and cozy, and the person at counter was very friendly. One star is for the uptight vibe from the back tho.
Im a coffee taster who writes reviews on coffeeshops for a coffee magazine. My experience in The Little Sweet Cafe was fabulous! Masoud, the owner is very professional and friendly. He gave me a full tour of the cafe and showed me how he makes espresso. The espresso is just perfect. What I really liked about it was the balanced sweet-bitter-sour taste of my espresso. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back.
If you’re looking for a quiet little nook for a quick bite, this cafe is perfect. The menu is simple and delicious. It’s advised to come on a weekday because weekends can be busy. The cafe seating can be limited for large crowds. Overall, the staff is very friendly and the environment is super chill. I would advise getting their fresh smoothie with any sandwich on their menu.
Beautifully cute cafe. They have a lot of food they make fresh for you like omelettes. Seating is a little sparse but have yet to see it extremely crowded. My favorite drink there is a chai latte with oat milk (they have other milk substitutes if you want). They also have a reward card if you decide to go back regularly.
A great, small, cozy cafe that is popular with the neighborhood and so can get busy in the late mornings. They have some outdoor seating and can serve breakfast items like crepes, sandwiches, or pastries. We ordered a sweet apple crepe and a savory ham crepe - of the two, I recommend the ham crepe. It was delicious and quite filling, while the sweet crepe hit my sugar tolerance. The staff are nice and hard workers who are attentive as much as possible, balancing serving and the kitchen. Overall, great place for food and coffee and recommend during not busy hours.
Slow and wrong order! Overpriced and bland.Came at noon on a weekend. Was excited to try the place after waiting in line. I mean places with a line have to be good right? Ordered two crepes and a coffee for take-out. Total was around $40. Said 10 - 15 min wait but ended up being 45 mins. Bit annoyed but whatever good food is worth waiting for. When we got home, we realized they gave one wrong crepe even after confirming the order. Was hungry enough to just settle so bit in. Very disappointing. It tastes like what your niece just learning how to make crepes would. Bit bland and certainly not worth $20...
This is a classical small European cafe in the heart of cobble Hill. The interior side is cozy and small with 3 tables but they Also have tables outside where you can read a book or make a phone call in your way back from downtown Brooklyn. The coffee is a bit more expensive than usual
Absolutely precious! My partner and I adore The Little Sweet cafe. The crepes are to die for and the pastry is the perfect little nosh for a Saturday stroll. If youre lucky, you can get the table by the window and people watch. Their coffee and latte are delicious. Been coming here for years and it remains a favorite!
Little Sweet Cafe is the perfect date spot. Its the coziest cafe, with coffee thats the tops, savory sandwiches and crepes for any occasion (read: ALL occasions), and wine. This venue isnt laptop friendly and thats a Good Thing. Note that theyre the size of a breadbox. Even with the outdoor seating!Support your local business and feed yourself! Its a win-win. Get yourself the Florentine sandwich and pick up wine too ($15/bottle). Did I say wine too? Get TWO bottles.
Excellent crepes with classics like florentine and some real innovations such as the curry chicken crepe with raisins. Only downside is that the savory ones are not made with buckwheat as they would be in the traditional galette. Personally, I prefer the savory options but if you want the sweet ones, mixed berry or nutella seemed better choices than apple or cinnamon to me.
Cute little cafe that offers more than coffee, standard bakery stuff and they make crepes and sandwiches! No computers here and they serve beer and wine as well. Very small but cozy and friendly staff. I stop in here when I just need that quick fix of coffee or espresso drinks and they are always on point. Theres also a bench outside that people sit on to enjoy their drinks its cute. They do well with the few food items Ive tried and I keep telling myself Ill order a crepe one day because the few Ive seen others eat look great!
Espresso and lattes should not taste burnt and extremely bitter. My coffee is the same no matter where I go and it’s never tasted this horrible. Plant based dairy,or not ...there should never be that burnt, and off putting taste. I threw it out after two sips. Probably the worst coffe I have had in Brooklyn other than konditori. Almost 9 dollars in the trash. Why...
I like a little cafe with local regulars, or a cafe that just look so cute and inviting. This cafe was one of those. The inside is small, with that very warm, cozy feeling. Not many tables, around 5 or 6, and the ones against the brick wall had bench seating on one side, and chair on the other side of the table. Interesting artworks on the wall, with large mirrors to create a vision of larger space within the small space.Their latte was really great, high quality, you can really taste the ingredients and the coffee bean. We had some sweets to go with our latte, not crepes since we were not that hungry. We had a cookie, muffin, and PB brownie, they were all good, not too special or spectacular, but good. The atmosphere and cozy, quiet space is really the selling items to me. I really enjoyed the little afternoon rest at this cafe. Read my full review of this cafe and food on my blog, foodlovergirl.
A lovely, welcoming place with wonderful food and wonderful staff. Its a cornerstone of the neighborhood. The crepes are amazing, the sandwiches are a secret wonder, and when I need to get out of the house to sit and quietly drink a cup of coffee in the morning there is no place Id rather be.
I cant tell you how kind, soulful and sweet this place is! It is perfect! Then you taste their food--the omelette plate redefines artison... incredible! Latte--sublime! Thank you for an unexpectedly refined and gorgeous late breakfast experience! Highly highly recommend this delightful spot!
The name exactly describes the place. Its a tiny cozy cafe with lots of character. Came in here on a chilly fall day and the chai latte was perfect in every sense. Much better in flavor than the Starbucks. Its a family run business and the day we visited they had their kid behind the counter and he was giving out his drawings. Loved the whole experience.
The young woman with the nose ring (who’s name I failed to get) was so friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. I had a chai latte and a slice of their brownie pie and both were delicious. They even offered a glass of water with my order, something I’ve never been offered at any other coffee shop. Definitely one of my new favorite coffee shops in New York.
A local gem with super cute decor and lovely staff. It’s very small, the shop seats maybe 15 or so people, and no computers allowed so there’s just people and their coffee. They serve pastries which are a tad expensive but delicious and a treat. Definetely check out if you are in the area! I direct all my airbnb guests to this cafe.
Charming cafe, but it’s quite expensive for the amount of food that you get. The omelette was not in traditional omelette form and was $15 for two eggs, some vegetables and two small pieces of bread. The coffee was mediocre. It’s a sweet little cafe indeed but I left hungry and needed a second breakfast!
Coffee and food was tasty, but we left disappointed after being charged for extra bread. It felt a bit stingy charging $2 for couple bits of bread after we had already paid $38 plus tip when we ordered. To top it off I didnt check my change properly ( totally my fault! ) and only realised my change was out $5 later. As tourists to the city we were used to waiting staff topping up bread/ drinks with no charge so didnt feel like we were asking something contrary to local way of service.
They dont seem to know what a macchiato is and the crepe I had was very dry and bland. They staff were friendly but the service was slow. The cafe has a really bad lay out and I was constantly bumped into while sitting at the table. It has some charm but you can find better food.
This is a cute and cozy spot. I was supposed to be working a per diem job on New Year’s (a few days ago), but it fell through. Before I went home, I wanted a nice breakfast.Yes, it’s not cheap... spent over $25 for an omelette and mocha. At least I treated myself, and I also helped myself to plenty of water. The shakshuka-style omelette I had was pretty hearty and had some unique spices. Having it with the bread filled me up. The mocha I had was quite sweet. The service was pretty good... there was only one person handling the register, cooking and preparing beverages until another staff member arrived. This place has a nice little bathroom.
Likely the best espresso in Brooklyn. The owner uses a manual machine and is incredibly knowledgable about what hes doing and the coffee he uses (Irving Farm). After a discussion with him recently, I learned how much thought he put into trying a new kind of local milk for the cafe (Battenkill Valley). For those looking for a non-dairy alternative, he uses a special barista variety of Califia almond milk that I havent been able to find in stores (its creamier and is less apt to make your coffee taste watered down).Aside from all this, he makes incredible crepes. Really a must-try if youre in the neighborhood.
Disappointing 2nd visit ... quiche cold and pastry tough strawberry salad fluffy and cheesy ... coffee good ... most disappointing man serving reaction ... smiled and said maybe next time better ... $30 don’t think I’d bother ... good lesson in customer service recovery very disappointing
A comfortable and quiet cafe with one very hard working person (at least that I could see) behind the counter. The latte and roasted chicken crepe was really tasty. They have rules that make this place quieter and less crowded than other cafes which is nice if quiet and cozy is what you’re looking for.

2022-06-12Very nice and quiet place. I was able to meet the owner since he was working on my own creation himself. The cashier was very polite and cute. And when you come here. Do NOT expect a cheap quick grab and go sandwich. When you come here, you are paying for art LITERALLY. I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich. And wow… I was blown away at the first bite. Chicken was fantastic, roasted tomatoes where amazing AND DONT EVEN START ON THE PESTO. It’s the best I have ever had in my life. They also give out free lemon water if needed. And I know that if they keep like this they will grow 10x. If I could only have one comment it would be that the pricing is on the more expense side. Every sandwich is 20 dollars more or less. I went by myself, but if I was to go with family or friends, you could easily slip and pay 100+ for 4 people. Furthermore besides that it was the pure love. Everything from the micromanaging that every bite had tomato’s and pesto sauce was all over my hands. I would 100% come back again. Loved it

2022-03-16I love it here! Such a comfy coffee & creperie on Hoyt Street in Boerum Hill / Downtown Brooklyn. Their crepes are delicious and when you ask for a “large” oat milk latte they really do give you a large. Yum!

2022-07-12Great quality at fair prices. The savory crepes hold up compared to what Ive had in Paris, and sandwiches are excellent too, with some cute baked goods, and a wider drink selection than just an espresso machine. If I were a local, I could see myself becoming a regular here easily

2021-09-10This place reminds me of an East Village gem in the heart of Brooklyn. The decor is super charming, the staff was lovely, and the food great. We had two smoked ham crepes which were delectable. The Parmesan cream cheese mix is really what puts them over. We also ordered two iced mocha coffee‘s which are some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this visit.

2021-10-30A super aesthetically pleasing place to have a breakfast. The food is pretty good, 4/5 for that. Although for a $25 breakfast I wish they weren’t so strict about tablets/laptops. I was drawing in ProCreate when they asked me to put my tablet away. 😬

2022-08-16Cute little place. Very Instagram friendly. No computers allowed so don’t expect to come work. Food is a bit pricey but I think the quality makes up for it, and it’s New York so of course it’s going to be more. I got the chai latte and it was the best I’ve had in a LONG time. Giving 5 stars literally for the chai😂

2021-11-03I went lo this place because of the pictures on Google. I was a bit a dissapointed with service. I asked questions and they weren’t too nice. I asked for a Savory Crepe and requested eggs to be well done. They came runny, which I hate. When I complained they told me that eggs were already prepared like that. Would’ve appreciated to br told that before ordering. Table outside right in the sidewalk is super uncomfortable; people hits you when they pass, table is unstable and thanks to that I spilled my coffee. Too pricy for what it is. Decoration and ambiance is beautifull, though.

2022-05-22Was in town visiting and this was down the street from where I was staying. Cute little place with great service. Got an iced latte and was tasty but not quite to my liking.

2022-04-26I didn’t love the service here. The barista/person working here was a little rude and just overall underwhelming at his job. We were going to stick around and eat but we decided to get coffees (mediocre) and pastries (even more mediocre) and leave.
