Excellent stay at such a beautiful property. My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting family. We have stayed here several times and love it. It is very comfortable and relaxing. They have beautiful area outside with gazebos you can sit on the lake. I highly recommend this hotel.
Booked a room here last minute. Price was reasonable. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty- quite good. The room we had is in need of updating and renovation but there were no bugs or anything gross. View in the morning is beautiful as the sun rises over the lake.
Beautiful location, lovely lake views. Sadly, the food is poor. If they ever hired a decent chef, wed eat there often.
Food was very bland , no flavor , dinner price was expensive. Hot sauce was watery and no lemon or butter sauce for shrimp. Bread was cold it should be served warm.. Service was ok. No salt and pepper at table which would have helped to season food. View is awesome!! Pasta was mushy and who puts long slices of onions on pasta. No greated cheese or pepper with pasta.. I wish I ccould say something good about food but they need to watch some videos on how to cook..
Food is delicious as always. Service is top notch also. Highly recommend visiting here for your dining needs. Reminds me of Tuscany and the views are spectacular.
Restaurant review : Obnoxiously over priced! A dish of broccoli was 7 dollars!!!!! The view and the Cesar salad was the only good part about it :(

2020-07-04Very friendly, kind hearted people. Pam and Diane are sweethearts! Beautiful atmosphere. Family built and owned since 1920. Our first time there and we loved it would definitely come back again and stay! The waterfront just sets it off! Thank you Continental Inn we enjoyed our stay! 💜

2019-09-01The location was great. Service was leisurely but we werent in a hurry. The food was tasty but not excellent. Portions were decent sized, but we felt the dishes were overpriced...most likely paying for the view. What concerned us was the server upselling a bottle of wine when we only asked for a glass. Its only $22...just $4 more than a couple of glasses each. Well the wine was $35 much more than she said. When we got the bill and pointed out the price, she just shrugged and walked away. No offer to rectify the misquote.

2019-10-20Went here for lunch on Saturday. Did not stay at the hotel. Spectacular location and view of the lake. Had a nice lunch. Food was good though a bit on the pricy side for what we had. It is now my wifes new favorite place. Cant wait to go back in the nice weather and have lunch/dinner outside. Great service. Everyone there was super friendly and made you feel welcome. Will definitely be going back.

2018-05-28Wow what a wonderful spot on the Greenwood Lake. They seated us into he gazebo and we ordered wings, rib sliders, crab cakes. Everything was delicious esp. the rib sliders. Drinks were perfect with the view. Definitely will be back and highly recommended.

2019-09-21I was there from out of town on a Sunday. Not only was there live music that the patrons and even the staff sang along with, but there was lakeside dining with some of the best food Id had in ages. My entre was a crab cake sandwich (delectable) and I shared onion rings as an appetizer. From now on these onion rings will be the standard I hold others to. This is THE place to dine at Greenwood Lake.

2018-07-26I live in Warwick, but this is my favorite place to eat during the nice weather.Inside or outside, the view from this restaurant is definitely the best on the lake. Their burgers are amazing (even though for some reason the chef refuses to put bacon on a hamburger, I dont get that!) The short ribs are excellent the salmon is excellent and the wait staff is excellent..There arent many really good places to eat on Greenwood Lake anymore I just wish this restaurant would add hours and expand their kitchen, (seems that sometimes they definitely need more help in the kitchen) Even on the weekends they have a limited staff. I guess they put all their energy into being a hotel? Doesnt matter I still love the place.

2018-12-23Miss the continental, our room, so cozy and relaxing, like being home. The food excellent, the staff pays attention to detail and caters to your needs with tlc. The views are breathtaking. Looking forward to staying again! My other half is from rural Georgia and was amazed how beautiful it is in greenwood lake, he was like a kid watching the sunrise right over the lake and taking pictures, so excited. I love the authenticity of the detail of the antiques and the craftmenship of the woodwork. Must go again. Not many places like this anymore. Appreciate it. Hi Diane! Miss you guys!

2019-07-15Not the best meal, Service was good, View was nice. The food was just not good. Not sure they made the food there or just heated it up yhere. didnt have the home made touch and was more like something you would find at trader Joes. very expensive for the quality of food they serve. we wont be returning.
