This address has been occupied by several businesses since the coin center abandoned it in 2018. I think its currently occupied by the Hemp Garden. The New York Coin Center was an interesting experiment for the couple months it existed in 2018 but now this listing is just used to drive traffic to a site owned and operated by Charlie Kartchner. Mr. Kartchner uses his sites to attack the work of the legitimate developers who introduced merged-mining and inflation reduction to the NewYorkCoin codebase. Merged-mining is the same innovation that helped secure hashrate for Dogecoin and is one of the factors behind Doges massive success. The inflation reduction plan reduced annual inflation from 10 Billion new coins to 52 Million per annum.Mr. Kartchner also uses his site(s) to drive traffic to Yobit. An exchange that refused to update, causing much confusion during the fork and contributing to a massive pre-fork 51% attack. Ironically, Mr. Kartchner himself provided a motive for his continued attempts to discredit the NewYorkCoin Community and drive traffic to Yobit, even after they disabled withdrawals (since 2018). Mr. Kartchner, using his NYCMiner alias, posted a screenshot that was poorly redacted and showed that he still held as much as 7 Billion NewYorkCoin on Yobit.Full disclosure: I performed code reviews and ran a testnet node to help the developers debug the 1.3.1.20 release over a period of 6 months so I have first hand knowledge of the hard work and dedication the dev team put into the effort Mr. Kartchner so cynically attacks.

Charlie Kartchner dropped out of support. In 2017, new community claimed NewYorkCoin. We are in 2021 now and Charlie Kartchner remembered NewYorkCoin 3 years later. Why is that? because Charlie Kartchner has a communication problem with new community. This harms NewYorkCoin. Also, what did Charlie Kartchner do between 2014-2017 and until 2020? nothing. Charlie Kartchner should stop owning NewYorkcoin and support as a volunteer to support NewYorkCoin with the new support team. Otherwise both groups and NewYorkCoin will lose.Charlie Kartchner how much do you hold newyorkcoin? Can you explain that? Can you spend some of these coins for NewYorkCoin? Isnt it very difficult to do this? Because money is sweet.

Great place and awesome coin with its own community backing this up. The dev team on this coin is outstanding. The coins are being used in numerous stores around NYC. What other cryptocurrency can you say has its own storefront? Ill wait. Get you a a few million coins on yobit.io exchange and visit the website. I havent being there yet but I know this coin will grow a lot in the next 3 years when investors finally discover this gem, I own 4000000 of them and planning to buy more soon, if you buy before big investors get in you will make a kill with this coin, BUY AND HODL
