Positive: I was very unhappy with the hotel and the condition. I would not recommend anyone to stay at the hotel. Negative: The hotel does not have any parking, which is inconvenient. You will have to pay to park in a garage. No staff available after 9 or 10pm, my room had no heat and it was 50 degrees. I would never attempt to stay their again.
1. Stayed mid October. One of the Staff tried to hide an expensive leather jacket left on the back of the bar seat. At the front desk they tied to cover it up. On check-out we threatened to make a police report and they after several phone calls found the jacket in a closet in a plastic bag. It was completely ruined as the plastic bag was full of water. No explanation or compensation was offered and we were late to meet family so we left. I’ve shortened this story for the sake of brevity but non of the staff were competent or followed through on promises to get back to us.2. We left used bath towels on the floor in the morning and they were not replaced. Asked Zoltan at from desk who said they only change them every 3 or 4 days. We were only staying 2 days! Zoltan ended up personally delivering them but couldn’t wait so did’t have the intended shower.3. The room was quite modern but a lot of wear and tear.4. The area is really poor, even with a police station next door.
Truly a you get what you paid for experience. I was excited to find this rate on a hotel near our family. This is a no frills hotel. What no frills means is if you ask for an additional pillow, they will respond with alm the pillows are being used and we have no extra to offer. No frills also means no one will tidy and replace your towels daily. No frills means the modern looking appliances are just for show and dont work. The European all in one shower has a mod faucet that doubles with two shower heads as well. So when you go to wash your hands after using the loo, be careful bc you may get a shower as well.No frills means there are special directions no one tells you about with the hvac and you find out theres no AC even if your room is 82°. They did change our room when asked. It was half the aize and the thermostat went down to a balmy 78°.The shower room isnt water tight and leaks onto the floor of the living area. The neighborhood is awesome. Its a safe place to sleep.
If zero stars was an option I would give them that. They overbooked their rooms and blamed it on a system crash. Their solution to this issue was notifying me I no longer had a room to stay with less than 5 hours till check-in time. Book them only if you want to be out on the streets without notice.
Despite the horrible reviews left about The One Boutique Hotel, I actually enjoyed my stay. The Beds were comfy and the room was clean and smelled good, it also came with a balcony. However, the rooms do need alittle updating. ( chairs, light switchs on walls are scratched)I gave this hotel 3 stars because I originally booked a king room with spa tub but when i arrived they told me my room was changed to a double queen due to over booking. ( atleast my room didnt get canceled right?)They also don’t have a microwave in the room or in the lobby, so it feels kind of forced to eat from their restaurant upstairs.Staff were friendly. All in all i would return in hopes my room doesn’t get canceled.
I booked a room ahead of time and they canceled last minute on the day while I was on my way and they told me it wasnt available anymore—they gave all the rooms to other customers even though I already reserved and paid. Then I had to go through the hassle of finding a last-minute hotel which is very expensive.
Very disappointed. I booked a room for me and my family a month ahead of time and they end up canceling the day I was suppose to check in, they said they were overbooked. This cause a lot of issues because I was also traveling from another state with young children and had to make changes. I did receive a full refund however all my plans had to be changed.
It was nice, the staff are friendly. Its definitely cheap but that was expected. The bathroom setup in the compact room was the weirdest thing I have ever seen (the shower is right above the bathroom sink so if you turn the wrong knob while washing your hands the shower will spray on you 😂. The towels are super small too, it was fine for me because I am a small person, but if youre tall its going to me like a hand towel to you, just fair warning. I just needed a place to sleep for the night and it was really inexpensive so it was exactly what I needed. But just so everyone knows the compact rooms are literally just a bed next to the tiny bathroom. Theres about 2 feet of open space between that and a really small desk so know what youre getting.
Parking is very limited and hard to find for this hotel. The hotel is very dark inside. It does have a bar at the top of the hotel which is nice. It does require that you are vaccinated and show a vaccinated card before you can enter. Rooms are small but the bathing area is very nice. If youre looking for more than two people to stay in this hotel you may want to find a different place because this is not going to provide any privacy. Theres no door to the bathroom.
Location was perfect for my stay. The hotel has amazing potential if it was fixed up and taken care of. Staff was nice but we had zero room service for the 3 days we were there. The walls look dirty and a lot of the furniture looks beat up and broken. Not the cleanest place but me and my girl aren’t picky but it’s simple and in an amazing area if that’s all you’re looking for.
After reading the reviews, I wanted to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt and form my own opinions. However, the reviews are true. Compared to other hotels I’ve been to this hotel was very dirty. The walls had stains and cracks, the floor was sticky, and I didnt even shower because it looked gross. We paid for two nights but only stayed one cause we just didn’t want to be there anymore. Don’t waste your time or money.
As I am writing this review,I wish I can record the noise ,when I check in they give me 7floor, which is the highest floor ,i was happy until now around 11pm they have the bar on the roof the music is so loud I fell like a earth quake because of the music is so loud ,this is rate it 3 star hotel I cannot even sleep , the room is clean ,this is the only positive rate, when I arrive at 1:50pm I ask can I check in , the lady at the front desk say check in time is 3 pm ,which I understand,I ask if there is room available, she say yes but it will cost me 40 dollars for early check in ,I think I travel all over the world and this is the only hotel will charge early check in fee which I am one hour early , I will not not recommend anyone to stay here ,I hope I can sleep tonight ,the bar is close at 2am.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I ended up checking out 10 minutes after checking in. The rooms are absolutely disgusting and the staff is rude! They will not help you! If your room is dirty and has stained sheets, like mine, you won’t get a new room unless you pay for an upgrade. My room was missing an iron and I was told “since I want to complain and not pay for a different room, I can just check out.” Instead of actually resolving the issue. I had to be at work early the next morning and I ended having to go to another hotel at midnight. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. Their prices may be cheap but it is so not worth it.
Positive: It¿s a nice hotel that needs more attention when it comes to cleaning a room. The floor was sticky and the tub was dirty. If it wasn¿t because of that it would be an amazing stay. Negative: The hotel it¿s good, just that the room needs to be cleaner so it can be a perfect stay.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Yes everything actually for a 3 stars hotel it¿s not possible to have room service every 3 days only if they did not have enough manpower. They should not be grade as a 3 stars. I went to a lot of hotels it¿s they ask me 100$ as insurance for the r
Before leaving a bad review I make sure I visit the hotel a few times just to be fare. The rooms are falling apart. You can take a look at my pictures. The curtains are dirty, the couches are stained, the furniture in general is falling apart. When it comes to the staff/front desk I find an issue out of the three times I checked in twice it was the same guy who was friendly and one is was a woman who was smoking a cigarette when I was inside waiting to check in and later on after checking I had to go to the front desk again and again I had to wait because she was outside smoking. Anyways take a look at the pictures because the speak by them selves.
Positive: Nothing Negative: This hotel is a scam, they have the weirdest room ever. In one single room they have one double bed, and bathroom in that same room. Do not book this hotel. It¿s worse than a motel 6 or super 8. They don¿t have clear picture in their hotel profile.
First approach this hotel is beautiful the lobby is welcoming the lighting is great however the rooms are dirty and outdated with minimum amenities. The TV only had about ten stations. I wouldnt recommend the compact room at all it is truly a compact room and everything is on top of each other you barely have room to move around. I hated the shower, sink and toilet combination. It offers no privacy if you’re sharing a room with someone else and if someone needs use the toilet you would have to wait unitl theyre out the shower. It’s also a safety hazard because once you use the shower now the floor is wet for the toilet and sink. I can’t speak for all the rooms I only booked a compact but I think the design is the same except for the larger rooms on the top floor. The two bars onsite was convenient but the food was way overpriced. The staff told us most people use DoorDash.
The room was disgusting. Stains all over the walls, bedding, and couch. The man at the front desk was horribly rude. Easily the worst room and experience I have had at a hotel. Save your money and don’t waste your time. Even the iron was missing from the room. I ended up just leaving and staying somewhere else because I couldn’t even sleep in such a gross room.
READ THE REVIEWS!! Room was disgusting, there was stains on the wall and sheets. The shower was extremely dirty couldn’t even step foot in it. I had to walk around with sneakers because the floors were so sticky. I’d rather sleep in a box on the street then spend another night at this hotel.
The room is super dirty and inPoor condition, very small and glass bathroom just next to the bed. It’s supposed no a room and I don’t know how they clan make a room for business. There’s no customer service at this hotel at all. The front seat even didn’t check my temperature. Try somewhere else; trust me this one will definitely disappointed you and ruin your trip.
First time staying here. It looks nice. However no instructions were given for anything. It was our stay so we had no idea the rooms electricity was ran by the key card. The view not so great and the tub we had wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. Kinda ran down a bit. Rooftop bar was beautiful.
First off I paid online on there website for king size bed with balcony for 2 days they gave me room with no balcony so I was basically over charged for room I didn’t get then the following day I went out at night around 7:00 for dinner came back my card did not swipe in to my room they told me they changed my room when all my property was in the room they gave me the first day this was unprofessional then they left me at the room I was already checked in they made a big mistake and room was not even worth it there no bathroom privacy or anything room very dusty a lot dust in air this was absolutely disgrace I would never return and check in people are so rude
The hotel is nice but not clean. I almost didn’t want to touch anything. The rug was dirty and matted. The clear walls of the shower had residue EVERYWHERE. It looked like someone had freshly showered and wrung out a soapy washcloth on the glass shower walls. The area is not the best. The buttons in the rooms for the lighting is losing it’s paint. Had the hotel just been cleaned it would be as gorgeous as it looks. Water in the tub doesn’t run that hot either. Don’t expect a relaxing hot bath.
They kept us from entering our room because my visa did not have my name printed on it even though I had proof that the card was under my name. They were very impatient and rude even though the hotel was not busy at all. I would recommend a different place to stay if you want any sort of customer service
Small room , stains on the curtains . Room needs to be painted. Slight mold on the floor of the shower. Bed sheets kinda look clean but are questionable. Mini fridge was packed with juice but wasn’t plugged in. (Didn’t touch those) a floor board constantly tripped me as i navigated myself through the small room... it was raised and looked like it had major resistance to go down. The room was just ok. Briefly visited the bar . It was nice. The bartender was super nice. The main lobby smells good and the couches are cute. This hotel just 2 tiers higher than a motel 🤷🏾♀️..
This is NOT a 4 starts hotel. I was so disappointed. When I arrived first thing that I notice, there were very scketchy people staying there. It gave me a very bad vibe, honest to God. I pay 170 dollars and I didn’t even stay there. The room was small and it smelled like baby powder. It wasn’t pleasant. The rooftop was ok. The furniture looks worn out the view is very nice, that was it. I’m not going back. There are many more options in NYC. This in my opinion is a Motel not a Hotel. Don’t stay here. Btw customer service is below average as well.
Beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. Housekeeping was loud outside my room from 10am until 6pm. I asked for a towel and waited 4 hours before going downstairs to ask again. The wifi was horrible. If you want to go to the hotel to stay the night after being out at the club then this is the hotel for you but if you want me time, peace, and relaxation, this hotel is not it. The spa is not present in the hotel. It is a 10 minute drive and the free shuttle buses are no longer an option.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. They are thieves. I booked a room through Priceline and at checkout they said there were no charges. On my next CC bill I found a charge for a stay for them. Called them to dispute and they said it was a mistake and will refund. It didnt happen. Then I called Priceline and they did a 3-way call and the hotel again said they would refund and nothing happened. Finally disputed the charge through my CC and this time they said its a valid charge. So I got charged double times (like many reviews have stated before), and spent hours on the phone and these unethical thieves would not reverse the charge. I hope the owners go out of business for their shady practices.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was fine but the hotel STINKS and you will get a lung infection I guarantee. The wifi is extremely unreliable to the point where you can not use it at all. And did I mention the hotel has a smell that is really unhealthy. I dont just mean that it smells bad but there is really something wrong with the air. You will get sick I promise you. The first room had no heat. They switched me to another room that when the heat comes on I jumped out of bed it was so damn loud. This hotel is absolutely the worst. I cant blame the staff downstairs but the hotel is terrible.
We are currently here, 2 days stay, wanted to be in travel distance to the emergency room where am working, morning staff didn’t greet , we ask for clean linens and was met with we don’t have and later today it will come ,Bed has a huge stain in the middle with a cigarette burn. Guess JC haven’t been checking mattress dates and cleanliness since Covid..Currently packing for a Hilton not close but hoping for better.
So i have to say they have great staff. And honestly Jennifer that works the front desk at night is someone that i would have running my hospitality department! She made this stay better than any hotel ive been at in 10 years. The beds are so comfortable the air is ice cold...its a real good choice.
Rented the suite which had ripped furniture. The bathtub went from freezing cold to scalding hot. Burned my girlfriend when she tried to take a bath. The shower symbols for hot and cold were switched.Told Management and they were more concerned with getting maintenance to fix the tub then her health. Advertises you can call for ice because there are no ice machines but that is a lie, you have to get it yourself at a bar on the 8th floor across on another elevator. Stay away
Went for a one night trip and needed a place to stay near LGA! What a find! Was very iffy with reading the reviews but I had no complaints!Don’t know if anyone needs to know but they do require a $100 incidental fee at check in but you know that’s normal.I wish we had more time to enjoy their lounge and rooftop though. There was curfew due to Covid so 🤷🏻♀️But if ever in need of a place to stay near LGA I’d recommend this cute place.Thank you for the hospitality NY 💕until next time!
The smallest room bathroom has a shower and toilet in the same small space. When I tried to wash my hands in the sink I ended up giving myself a shower. I did call the desk and the staff are very friendly and accommodating and moved me to a nicer room at no charge. This room was only $22 more and it is a huge difference. Marble and wood throughout. Not ceramic. Much cleaner. Has a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Separate stations for the toilet, shower, and a vanity area. The furniture is scuffed up and dented and there are marks on the walls because they haven’t painted in years. But, for the price, it is worth it.
I stayed here in August and I absolutely loved the hotel! The rooms were very nice and the staff was outstanding! Both the rooftop bar overlooking the New York Skyline and the indoor bar were very classy and the bartenders and Roy were extremely friendly. Also the front desk staff knew where to go for authentic Korean and Chinese food. I highly recommend this hotel. Price was decent for New York as well and located not far from Met Stadium and the airport! 5 stars for me!
I stayed at this hotel by fluke due to a delayed flight and it was actually quite lovely. I had a very comfortable king size bed, a nice view and the European shower was a nice touch. The hotel is about a 5 min drive to the airport and it is in the heart of Queens Chinatown with lots of yummy Chinese food in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful and most importantly this hotel room was very clean! I highly recommend it.
Shower riddled with mold inside and outside of it, floor sunk in from water leak with softball size mold growing behind the night stand(noticed when pluggin in my phone) floors stained yellow from dirt and mold, cheap cracked, chipped and scratched furnitureshower head broken and sink would not shut off
Worst guest service agent ever! Bathroom leaking water after taking shower. Calling the night guest service agent to bring more towel because the floor is so wet. The agent just said oh, no more towel, sorry. Wow! Are you kidding me?! You are not trying your efforts to look for it or find some other solutions to satisfy your customer? You just said sorry and hung up the phone. Unbelievable!! Disappointed! Your room night is not cheap plus with this kind of service... Disappointed!!
I frequent this hotel pretty often and they really never disappoint me. The biggest thing is if you are not a outgoing person try to avoid days the lounge/party days is open cause they have a party up there. Other than that, nice calm and quiet atmosphere, 90% of the staff is nice and helpful. Place is always clean and accommodating. They should probably just have some menus, available but I use ubereats anyway. Favorite Queens hotel. :)
The person at the front desk was super friendly and nice. The room was so elegant and modern and the shower was so nice. Lots or storage area. If you take the glass elevator to the bar, you can get a pretty good view of the area. My only complaints are that the wifi was really bad and there wasnt a gym which I needed but thats fine.
I have frequented this hotel to be closer to my fiancé while he is in rehab and I have had pretty decent experiences so far. I fell outside on ice one time and they comped me a night which was nice. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable I enjoy them a lot. Wish they had a microwave but thats about it. Nice atmosphere, and its close to the Police Department. Ambience is cool and I cant speak much on the lounge but it looks nice.
Was having emergency plumbing work done on my house and booked a night here just to shower and be away from the noise/dust of the renovation. It was so quaint and nice ended up staying 4 nights just because I had such a nice time. honestly, it doesn’t get any better for the neighborhood.
This was a terrible experience for me and my family to end our trip to NYC. We stayed at the One several times before, and those were great experiences. So this time we still chose the One as our hotel in Flushing. However, everything is so different right now.1. The air conditioning was noisy. We can’t fall asleep AT ALL.2. The lights controller is not working well. Some outlets didn’t work. Actually, there’s only one outlet for us to charge our phones.3. The bathroom should be renovated. The tiles are broken.4. The mat in room is dirty and sticky.I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all because I am disappointed. I had great experiences during 2015 and 16. However, the hotel didn’t do any maintenances, jut let everything become old and dirty. I do hope the One can renovate their rooms, but for now, I won’t book this hotel anymore
The customer service is TERRIBLE!! The lady at the front desk was extremely nonchalant and didn’t care that out wasn’t ready at 6:30pm when checkout is at 12pm. The room smelled like weed and the tub and sink was dirty. The lights kept going out and the bed looked dirty. No one apologized. I would never stay here again
First, when I arrived I was told that a $100 deposit was required but when I booked the room the website specifically stated no deposit required. When I spoke with management I was told the $100 they were asking for wasn’t a deposit but a “security hold”. When I opened my room, which was less than 6 feet from the front desk (no privacy), the bed and room was a mess as if someone had checked out & the room was never cleaned. The shower and toilet share the same floor, which has a drain in the middle so my feet would be wet if I used the toilet before the floor had completely dried. The price is amazing but I’ve gotten better quality for similar prices. Never again!!!!!
Affordable prices but horrible costumer service. The Asian guy that works at night is so unprofessional. My daughter was sick and threw up on the bed and this guy was offering us a towel because supposedly they didn’t have no extra blankets. Room was some what clean, I find some “clean” towels with hair. Last call for housekeeping was at 4 pm and it was 3 pm and housekeeper was knocking on my room saying that I needed to leave the room if I wanted service because she was leaving early.
The location was an amazing place to go and outside view. My group was a regular you may say specially with Kevin and the bartenders because their customer service is amazing. The food was really good too, I used to love their chicken and that they had BBQ sauce. Now it has change the food is okay to eat with fewer sauces but the the bartender is horrible. The bartender demands that you order your second free drink before happy hour is over. Then they take too long to attend people that come in. We dont go as frequent anymore because of it.
Although some of the staff were friendly, during the day, there were housekeeping employees who were talking way too loud in the hallway, disrupting sleep. When it was time to check out, instead of giving a courtesy call, another employee banged on the door to notify us that it was time to check out. It was also hard to have food delivered to the hotel. The room itself was also not equipped fuller with toiletries for two guess. I wouldnt come back to this establishment
The hotel is small and petite 3 star? I wouldnt rate 3 star more like 2.5 stars. The central ac didnt function as it supposed to so they had a temp windows type unit in the room. The bed was one of the worst, usually beds in hotels are excellent. This unfortunately was not the case here. It had a generic memory foam mattress that I woke up every morning with back aches. Was not really worth what I paid, in all honesty. You can tell it was recently renovated the room look nice and modern. Had a lights system where you have to leave your room card in to power it which was rather unique. It was clean and house keeping was ok. The view from are particular room was also ok. The subway was a few blocks from this hotel and we took the trains to Manhattan to all the attractions it was definitely and experience to say the least.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were couple with compact room. It was horrible! Filthy room 2x2m with broken shower, almost no intimacy and the service did not change towels. We were next to service room or something and every night we can hear noises every goddamnit second! Also this type of room contains no windows. Hell it was like coffin!!After two days, there was awful smell from the service room. Like rotten garbage or something. The hotel changed our room to similar one but slightly bigger. But filthy as well, dust everywhere, service in this room was even worse. The bed was never make and changed. We missed towels everyday.Apart from that every night there was a party or some sort of happening and people were so lousy! No respect at all.Btw this is Chinese hotel operated in Flushing, biggest Chinese community in NY.Overall the worst hotel I was in and only downside in my trip to NYC. Do NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!
Outside of the hotel is nice but it’s not what you think it is firstly the male receptionist is maaaaaaaaddd rude secondly beds don’t sleep comfortably it sleep like an air bed as soon as you lay down an it you sink in a hole I’ve clean my room and get different room it was the same thing…The bathroom is not clean you see black stain all over in the bathe mad dirty
Worst hotel ever. Tried charging me ver $100 for a tiny one bed room with no windows and a v smaller than a microwave. Idk where they got the pictures they use for google page but they weren’t taken in this hotel. Guy at the front desk was kind of rude to other customers who were there to check in and he said he wouldn’t help them and he had to talk to the lady that was right next to him when he was standing behind the counter. They also charged me a $100 deposit I never got refunded and I never even stayed the night I left the hotel as soon as I saw the room and didn’t even unpack my bags. Wish I could give negative rating
The One boutique hotel, is a beautiful hotel. The hotel includes amazing nightlife, I know because it could be heard in my room on the 7th floor. Im not complaining. Ive frequented the hotel for that night life before. But Id imagine if you never have it could be alarming. To hear the sounds of music that sound like its coming from the bathroom. Speaking of bathroom, it was absolutely beautiful. The entire setup was. The only issue was the ceiling that had water stain, that I imagine was caused by some mini flood. The floor showed signs of warping where I guess the water fell. And the small carpet also showed signs of water damage. But none of this took away from the stay. And I will stay her again in the future. If hotel staff reads this, it was room 704.
Worst hotel you can ever go into. When you go in there is a sign that say “we’re closed”. As I walk out the reception walks in. Ask for a room but he said sold out. Ask again to confirm and he starts giving a attitude. He’s drunk or high and walking around without a mask. Actually no one is wearing a mask in the hotel. When ask to put his mask on he even said “if you see me without a mask, you still want a room here?” I don’t understand the service here. But if you want a cheap offer with free covid-19 then this is your place. Perhaps you can enjoy a drink or some drugs with the reception.
Booked here last minute when my flight was cancelled from JFK. friendly staff, clean hotel, but needs a LOT of renovation. everything is falling apart and needs refurbishing. the upstairs lounge upholstery had rips or holes on pretty much every cushion and pillow. the room itself was cool and i especially loved the huge shower/tub combo. walking distance to a lot of grocery stores, restaurants, and spas.
My flight was canceled due to weather so I had an unexpected need for room and board. Found this place on Priceline for a great price for a compact room. Well when they say compact, they mean it. I felt like I was in a closet. The room itself was ok, semi clean (needs new floors and walls need a scrubbing). It literally can only accommodate 2 people inside at a time. The compact rooms have no windows so you feel like youre trapped. I had to leave the room on several occasions because I could not breathe, but I was desperate, tired, and the price was right. It was about 10 mins from LGA which made it very convenient. There isnt much around. Its in Flushing so a predominantly Asian community but I am not a fan of asian food, just sushi and I am very picky. The washroom in the room made a loud noise every time it flushed sounded like it was going to explode. Overall.it was good for what it was, maybe a non compact room is better kept. Needs major improvements
Spent the night here with my girlfriend. We stayed here because of the free shuttle bus to Spa Castle. Upon arrival, they moved us from a King room to a compact without telling us. It was raining, and our room was leaking water all over the floor. They moved us to an even smaller room. There were no towels or TV remotes in the room, I had to call down to get them, and then most of the channels on the TV did not work. Upon check out we realized we were charged full price for a king room despite being placed into an incredibly small room. They refused to cover the difference and had no record of us staying in the room with water leakage.A very bad experience overall with poor customer service and accountability. Will not return and I highly advise others to be wary. The Spa Caste deals are enticing, but the service in the hotel is bad
The staff was friendly. Walkable distance to the subway. Next-door to a police station. Neighborhood seemed safe. Some of the restaurants / shops in the neighborhood only take cash, so double check. The room was a good fit for two, however the bathroom area does not have a door so its a bit awkward when traveling with a friend. Also since the shower is basically in the bedroom there was a mildew smell next to the nightstand thats next to the shower.(Ive added a picture)I had to sleep with my shirt over my nose. I think if housekeeping would clean behind there right before, during and right after a stay the smell would hopefully not be a problem. The smell didnt engulf the room, just the area near the nightstand which unfortunately I was sleeping on that side. Also our sheets were stained. Picture included. The stay is okay for one night and if you are on a budget. If you will be staying longer Id check for a mildew smell, and if there is one request another room. Also we were on the 6th floor which meant we heard all the noise from the lounge they have on the 8th floor, it made it difficult to sleep. Id stay here again only if I couldnt find another affordable hotel near NYC.
WARNING HEALTH HAZARD mold in bathrooms. I was there for a week in January 2020 switch rooms due to the issues youre about to read about. Overcharging and using the tactic of bait and switch. They charged my debit card with so manny fraudulent charges that Now I have to work with the bank and waste time to get my money back. Its very easy to get drawn to both of their properties When you look at the website and see their rooms you will absolutely love the hotel and the price it fantastic but you know what they say when it sounds too good to be true it usually is. You will not get a deal they promise because their word means nothing. I will give you a lot of information here but I will also be filing a civil lawsuit against them and once Im done with discovery that would also be made public because the public has a right to know that their health is being put in danger by these peopleThe television and the phone in the room were not working. I was there to do work I needed the Internet but yet it took 2 1/2 days for me to get Wi-Fi and I had to power my computers to my mobile hotspot. The first room I was in The noise was so intense from the heating system Coming from either upstairs or downstairs of me, I was told two different things so I dont know exactly where but it sounded like slamming doors every few seconds the entire night. So they said I will be comped For three nights and they will give me another room. The new room had black mold in the shower and rust coming out of the shower head. The cleaning crew clean my room twice in a week once before I got there and when I left.Dont just take my word for it look at the pictures I attached and look at their other business spa castle Which received 49 violations in one year alone, people discharging bodily fluids in pools, and 84-year-old was found dead at the bottom of the outdoor hot tub. They were hit with child labor violations, They were shut down by the health department. The pools didnt have enough disinfectant, the owners were indicted on Charges of tax fraud And convicted of such crimes so if theyre cheating the federal government putting everybody else at risk with these type of violations a little black mold doesnt make a difference of these people but it can cost you your life, a six-year-old girl nearly drowned in one of their pools because of too much suction and there were many instances reported where patrons were having sex inside the spa pools.
My group hosted a party at the ONE tonight and we were thoroughly pleased. You can not beat their price for cocktails and pass appetizers , but most importantly their service. Top notch. Our company had a great celebration . Cudos to the bar tender that sold the services to me at a friends restaurant. Great place to celebrate.
The hotel is not worth the amount i pay to stay their, It was my Birthday weekend and the security staff was unprofessional. I wanted to have a drink before i want to my room and they gave me hard even though i paid over $300 for a two night stay in their hotel. Worst experience i had with any hotel. The rooms are really smalls even when you address your concern to the manager he give off a I dont Care attitude. I would not give them another dime of my money. I advise you go somewhere esle. I even had a hard time when it came to payment. Never again Im furious
My sister and I stayed in The One Boutique for three nights during our spring break (we spent a lot of time in the bar). Our overall experience was decent, the pictures they show of the rooms Im sure are accurate to most of the rooms but, our room was extremely small. They dont show the room we had on the website because it was the cheapest and so tiny. The staff was extremely friendly and took care of any problems we had. We had never been in the city alone so any questions we had they answered for us. The subway station is only a few blocks over which was extremely convienent. The view of the city from the bar is no joke. The lights and everything at night are amazing and enjoyable to look at.
Pros: Bed is super comfortable; one of the most comfy beds Ive slept in in a hotel! It was a memory foam, I think. The climate control was easy and quick! Staff is very friendly. Cons: Went to go use the bathroom and saw a cockroch. A small one, but I am not used to them and it freaked me out. My husband killed it. A used, once wet washcloth was left over the shower door, the window trim was falling off, there were signs of water damage both on the floor and ceiling and even crept up some of the cabinets. The most annoying for my husband, though, was the platform bed frame did not fit the mattress which left a very sharp, hard piece of the frame sticking out that he hit with his upper chin 3 different times.
The hotel is connected to Castle Spa - a Korean spa, which is GREAT! Now for the hotel: first off, I will say that the bed is one of the most comfortable Ive ever slept in at a hotel. Other than that - its not worth it. The bathroom is the real problem. The sink is so low you would have to be 52 and under to feel comfortable. The tub, while cool looking, is pretty non-functional. The rain shower has no pressure and the placement of the soup dish is so far away from the tub your soap falls to the floor and then you cant get it easily. The rim around the bed is treacherous, and the lights are a little on the high maintenance side. The hotel staff, while not rude, are certainly not friendly. They certainly dont seem happy that you are staying at the hotel and make it difficult to sinc the hotel and the spa.
Nice, modern rooms. Comfortable bed and a cool, rainfall shower. The bathroom takes up about half of the space of the room, but it was fine. There was plenty of room for our suitcases and we didnt feel like we were cramped. There is a garage about a block away next to a sprouts market that was $16 for 24 hours. We came in late Friday night for the US Open and by parking on the street overnight, moving the car to the garage before 7am Saturday morning, then moving the car back to the street after 10 Saturday night to take advantage of free street parking on Sunday, we were able to park all weekend in NYC for $16. Just pay attention to the parking rules.
Rooms were neat. Some sheets or pillow covers did not look like they had been washed-or they were just old and worn. Area is so so, small little cafés. Decent place to stay if you needed to be near the airport for its price. Bathrooms were like stalls kind of, not its own room, just a glass door like a bathroom stall, so not very romantic since you can hear and likely smell whenever another uses it.
This is the worst experience I’ve had in a hotel in US.Extremely loud ACPractically unusable WIFIExtremely rude staffI booked two days and on the 3rd day morning I decided I had to stay another night (not by choice). It was past checkout time and the concierge guy came to my door and banged loudly and said that I had to check in downstairs again, in a very rude manner. I felt extremely unwelcome and there was no service to speak of.Worst place ever. Don’t ever step in here if you have any respect for yourself. I would give 0 star if I can.
OMG. Horrible experience. Went on my wedding anniversary, they had a deal with Spa Castle. Lobby was nice. OO lounge was closed for a private party although we confirmed it would be open for public prior to booking the hotel. Room is really small and minimalist. Bathroom had water bugs! Grossed me all the way out. Front desk no empathy asked if we took a picture and didnt understand. She thought it was bed bugs...smdh. Offer an upgrade but for what!!! Bugs in the hotel. Ice machine was only on the 8 fl had to walk through the private party to ask the bartender for ice. I will never go back to this hotel! For 230 dollars a night no one should deal with that. Got a refund as they should but ruined our special night!
My room was okay, everything worked fine. I would like to give this hotel a higher rating, but I just cant. Unless your plan is to party in their lounge until early morning, I would never recommend staying here. Their website states there is a lounge, which sounds okay. But once I arrived, I realized its a loud night club. I was awake with the loud music vibrating my room until 2am. I was even more annoyed when I read on the hotel site, that the lounge closes at midnight. It was Wednesday evening, does the music really need to keep going until 2am.I feel the hotel website needs to be more accurate about the lounge bring a night club, and that music will be heard and felt well into the early morning. This was the case for me, even with earplugs. I also stayed on the 2nd and 6th floor, it was noticeable on both. Be aware of you stay here.
Easy to find. Rooms are nice but the platform bed has too many sharp edges.(Kept bumping my leg) Wifi is spotty and weak. The keycard is needed to operate everything including the lights. Bathroom is great. No ice machine have to go to the front desk in lobby for ice.
I went to the Meet Bar. I was really excited for a chill bar aesthetic with live music... but it was a huge letdown. The live music was two guys playing around with guitars and not finishing a single song. When live music wasnt playing, there were karaoke tracks playing at top volume. The entire place was staffed by one bartender and one server, and took a good thirty minutes to make my one drink. Drinks are too expensive for this kind of place. People were also smoking inside, just one table over. Will never be back.
Was only there briefly at the bar waiting for the spa castle shuttle, but service was fine, and they shoot for a modern look to the hotel. The lobby is a little small and borderline gawdy with the purple couches and orange/brown/silver pillows, buy overall was an ok location. Wouldnt come here specifically for drinks or anything, but might consider recommending friends from out of town to stay if they dont mind the distance from Manhattan.
This hotel was ridiculous honestly it is pretty inside but, you become disappointed by the mistreatment and robbery of your money. Its clear they are after your cash and its not worth it. The bar was outrageously priced, a typical $60 Circoc was $250! Seriously! The bar was not a club there was no hookah nothing and the waitress and service were annoying. They gave you dirty looks and lost reservations. It was crazy how much money was lost because of the stupidity and lack of respect. They also changed rules in there hotel agreement which was crazy because then extra money was taken out to penalize you for breaking a rule that was randomly changed that night. The place needs to get it together. You want to charge that much how about you get better service and better vibes because you suck.
We couldnt check in until after 5, even though checkin was 3pm and we arrived at 4pm. Finally entered to room to find a constant hiss/beeping through the in room fire alarm/microphone that was never fixed. Additionally, the in room telephone never worked, so we couldnt call the front desk or anywhere for that matter. There were cigarette ashes in the bathtub and shower (had to use cell phone to call the hotel only to be put on hold for five minutes). The bathroom walls are frosted glass - looks pretty sharp, except that they were covered in white stains and soap scum. The one elevator in the hotel doesnt work, so you need to use stairs for the 8 floors and you constantly hear people from the bar yelling and stomping down them. This was hands down my worst hotel experience in 5yrs of coming to NY and staying in Flushing. I still love the Flushing area, but Ill never stay here again, nor do I advise you to stay here.
Stayed here for a wedding we had to go to in flushing and had mixed feelings about this place. We had a double queen room and it looked nice and modern. However the bathroom lacked privacy. My cousins on the otherhand had a single full. The problem was that they put them in a room without air-conditioning and just left them with a fan. Though they were able to get upgraded to a better room after some complaining, they should not have been placed in that room in the first place. Because of that situation, it kind of spoiled the mood and thus I am only giving it 3 stars.
The one Boutique is awesome. From the décor, ambiance and a beautiful rooftop view, you cant ask for a better hotel to stay at away from home. Its like a second home for me. The staff are extremely delightful and helpful. Jimmy is a great manager. He will ensure your stay is comfortable. Aesha and Barbara are great personnel as well. The maintenance team gets a thumbs up. At the bar, Emily, David and the rest of the team are hands down the best group of bartenders I have ever encountered. The One has a great team on their hands. Definitely the hotel to stay at when you are visiting Queens or any borough for that matter!
Just another example of poor service and lack of cooperation on behalf of the hotel staff. They were rude and dismissive of the guests who had reserved rooms. They will quickly kick you out of the establishment and not refund your security deposit. Beware of extra pains and headaches after your experience.
Compact room dos not have window. Obvious dirt sign could be seen in bed sheet, pillow covers and towels. Three in one shower system is not reliable. Open restroom design makes the room smelly. No hanger for jacket or baggage shelf provided. Not recommended for price like this. The most beautiful part is lobby and thats it.
More bad than good. Negatives...No hotel parking or valet. Used a parking garage on street behind hotel. Bathroom provides no privacy. Water from shower leaked A LOT onto bathroom floor and floor next to bed. AC in our room didnt work. Room was 75-77 degrees the whole time we were there, even at night. Elevator was broken and we had to take service elevator to 8th floor, then walk down 3 flights of stairs to get to our 5th floor room. No ice machine for guests. You have to ask someone from the hotel staff and they will take you up to the bar on the 8th floor. Since the elevator was out of service, we had to climb up 3 fights and down 3 flights for ice. Our room wasnt cleaned until after 4pm and the didnt leave extra rolls of toilet tissue or re-up on the toiletries, so we had to use Kleenex and barely had enough soap and shampoo for showers on our second day. Positives...Comfy bed. Nice rain showerhead.View from Roof Oo Bar was great. Located close to train is a plus. Parking only cost $38 for 2 days. Nearby Joes Shanghai restaurant was excellent!
Planned my fiancées surprise birthday party here. Initial reservation was simple but once it was time to deliver, the service was terrible/negligible. Ive made reservations two weeks in advance for Friday 01/30/15. Throughout those two weeks Ive kept in touch with the manager Jimmy to iron out the details. This needed to be a smooth transaction. Despite the freezing weather and a slow season I was bringing 30 people to the table and stressed the importance of reserving a section and came to find out on arrival there was a different group in the section requested. I asked to speak to Jimmy (initial form of contact) but he was too busy smooching with a female in a corner. The bottles took a while to come out so people ended up ordering drinks at the bar. The idea was for me to service my guests. Not to mention the bottle package was to include appetizers (hot finger food) come to find out I was served with a fruit platter. Everyone ordered food separately. I was ready to splurge on the night but felt like they didnt want my money so thank your for saving me some cash (and no additional tip was left). One of the workers stepped up to the plate to help me out but he couldnt be everywhere at once, manager was still smooching. All in all the place is very beautiful, almost a shining beacon given the location. At the end of the day our crew knows how to have fun and make the best of it. Three stars for ambience, decor and food.
The room was dirty .... the place is ghetto and smelled like weed even though they warned me at the front no smoking I came from out of state with my son and we had no choice but to stay because it was so late but it was a total disaster... rude employees and I just wish I didn’t waist 200$ for 1 uneventful night ........ definitely wouldn’t recommend especially for anyone with children it’s not family oriented at all 😤
READ THIS CAREFULLY PLEASE I do not recommend staying here at all. Please do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.First of all I called to see if there was availability and there was. I asked for the price of a king size bed for one night and the lady on the phone said $195 plus taxes and fees it will be $220. (That is very pricey for this area) so I said I will call back in a few minutes. Before I hung up she said are you looking for something cheaper and I said yes, why and she told me she can do the same room for $175 taxes and fees included.Hotel is trying to rip people off. That was the first incident. The second incident is with the hotel noise. We were put on the 7th floor and there is a bar and lounge area on the 8th floor that plays loud music all day and night. We didn’t think it was going to be a big deal because I thought they were going to shut off the music around a reasonable time and I was wrong. It got around to 2am and the music was still playing and the room was shaking from how loud it was. No peace and quiet. We called front desk to ask when the music is going to stop and she said it probably won’t stop until 3-4 am. Absolutely ridiculous. We asked if we can switch rooms and they gave us a downgrade on the first floor with a room with no windows and you could still hear lobby noise with people that are leaving the 8th floor party.Never staying here again. The big issue was the noise
NEVER stay here. Room smells funny, is small and cramped, and closest reliable parking is a very expensive lot a few blocks away. There isnt even a loading and unloading zone so we had to walk from the parking lot with all our stuff. It was so bad I changed my stay from a six night to a 1 night.
This place is so mixed...ProsLocation is perfect. Walking distance from the subway and tons of cafes.Beds are really really comfortableConsPlace isnt kept so well. The floors were swelling and peelingShower was broken in the worst way. Water goes from cold to scalding constantly. But if youre coming back from a day of Manhattan walking, those beds are the most comfortable in the world.
Nice hotel with good rates. The front desk staff werent as attentive as I would have hoped they would be considering we were the only ones in the lobby. They were both on the phone and though it seemed to be hotel business, I was always able to juggle a busy lobby and phone calls when I was a concierge in Las Vegas. Room for improvement there. Otherwise, pleasant experience.
The reservationist is so rude. Her name is Mia, She did not provide me with any information about the room or the deposit. I had to ask. And when i called back to cancel she did not give me information about when i should be receiving my refund. I called again to ask her about my refund, she laughed at me and said it takes 3 to 5 business days. So i asked her, why didnt she tell me this while canceling my reservation. She laughed at me again. I requested to speak to a supervisor and she refused and hung up on me. That was the most rudest thing that has ever happen to me. These people should reconsider who they hire to answer the phones because this woman was disgusting. I dont even want to book there for the future. Again her name is Mia.
It was not worth what we paid, is a really bad neighborhood, we felt in danger twice, for my criteria it was way to expensive it was not what we expected it. The courtesy and service was good except for the cleaning, we stayed 3 nights same towels that were there where we left them and they still wet, the bathtub was dirty, the coffee maker didnt have the bowl, they never refill anything, i was dissapointed
This place is disgusting to start off. Ill take you through my entire experience from beginning to end. We get there and we waited 1 hour to get checked in. Then the elevators were not working so in order to get to our room we gad to take an elevator that only worked if yoy go to the 8th or 9th floor mind you the 8th floor is the bar/club . we were on the 6th so every time we wanted to leave or come in for something u have to walk from the 6th to the 8th or just take the stairs period. Now mind you also the stair well looked like a murder seen with old blood on the walls and also scuffs everywhere of a war zone. Balls of hair as if someones hair got pulled out. Ok so then we get to the room finally and i open the closet and the mirror is smashed. Shaking my head. To even top it off the tub had cigarette burns on the bottom of it and tge floor was Absolutley disgusted i mean i put a white towel on the floor to step on when i showered and it was completely black when i picked it up and looked at it. Do not ever go to this junky hotel nowhere near the price is this worth any amount of money. Oh yeah and the pictures are no where near the truth
Friendly bartenders. They do really get to know you. Nice atmosphere. Great place to meet new people. They make great cocktails and the food is good. It can be an intimate place early in the week. DJs Fridays and Saturdays. People do boogie down in the open space lounge.
I have stayed in many hotels around this area including Hyatt, Hilton and Sheraton, but I have to say, this is THE ONE and the best one. The room is capacious, clean and comfortable. The interior decoration is modern and sumptuous. Beside that, Ive experienced the best service. The front desk girl Jien is so lovely and always been helpful. She must be rewarded!! 5/5
As a last minute decision we picked the one boutique hotel. The. Jight before we called and weremtold there was only one suite and one room left. So we decided on the suite. After making a 400+$ we were asured we would have an appropriate room for the price. Showing up to the queens location we were aware that there is no on site parking. However a parking lot is only one block away. As we checked into the hotel the man at the front desk was unfriendly and didnt explain anything about our stay to us. Just handed us a key and said the room was 201. He didnt even offer any information about theur spa experience. Which was something i was extremely interested in. As we open the room door we slowly started loosing hope in our stay. Not only were we dissapointed that a suite was located on the second floor we started finding lots of imperfections . When we opend the closet to put out coats away we found the shelf was practicly in 3 pieces. Then we noticed every bit of plumbing was loose. The beautiful bath tub that i was filling for a relaxing bath started making cracking noises ...only to find it was resting on concrete chunks to level it off.then noticed a greasey body print on the wall. Gross. So we decided to just go out for the evening instead of enjoying our stay. As we werre leaving we learned the elevator of was now out of service. Suddenly or 2nd floor room wasnt so bad.fast forward to check out. The woman at the desk was very apologetic and said someone tried to burn that room down.. wich explained the many paint imperfections. And she offered a free suite. We probably would never return to this location unless it was a free stay.
No microwave in the rooms. Staff and customer service horrible. Elevator was broke room didn’t have wash cloths. We was put in a room with no working heat. If you have an issue management isn’t onsite all night.Don’t let the picture fool you the place doesn’t look that attractive! Its a dump! If you stay there everyday will feel like nightmare on elms street!
A nice looking hotel. But that doesnt mean anything if the service is bad. The service was TERRIBLE. during my stay. Rooftop lounge was overpriced. Also manager kept finding complaints towards my party and was very rude in the way he came to speak to us. Do not recommend this hotel to people who are trying to have a good time. They do not make your stay comfortable at all!
They have super loud music at 3am in the morning and called front desk but they said its private event. The floor was cracked. Tv was unplugged. Stay away from this hotel. I cant sleep at all. Party is continuing and now is 3:16am.If I can give 0 star I will definitely do so.
The finger snacks that was served by the hotel staff, were yummy and very tasty, they first came out with some crostini so with salami and cheese, then friend mozzarella and egg rolls followed by chicken lollipops and salmon canapés. The best for me was the chicken Lollipops. The 8th floor lounge (the party room) was pretty spacious for a lounge, with a live DJ and bar. Great for a big personal event.I really enjoy the beautiful view from the elevator of the city while was going up, and was amaze of the view in the rooftop of Citi Field and NYC. Perfect to watch the sunsetThe staff of the hotel was very attentive and friendly and the room of the hotel seen very nice at least seen like this from the screen.
Horrible hotel serivce despite the great views the rooftop has to offer. The manager of the rooftop bar, kevin, wouldnt allow my guests to enter the bar because of their appearence. In a very disrespectful way he asked that half of my guests leave the bar even after we bought a bottle at a reserved table specifically for my guests and I. In addition they kept my desposit and even added surcharges for steam cleaning in a room that i only used to sleep. The hotel has a very pleasent appearence, nevertheless, the manager and his staff are very rude and do not know how to properly treat guests that enter.
We went to the lounge on the 8th floor for a friends party. The views are spectacular at night. The music was horrible, drinks were never made the same-way twice, so several people had to ask for drinks to be re made, to which they complied without refusal. All my friends felt the food was underwhelming. This lounge is directly beside a police precinct and at night, the police are usually sitting in the driveway in their cars.
Ahhh boutique hotel, your species has become a total craps shot at this point. I have been to really good cozy romantic ones and then I have been to this One (sorry for the unintended pun). This place is not just dirty, it was Filthy. A roach came out from the drain or something after my wife showered. The walls had marks. The lights couldnt dim, just all on or all off. The hallways or stairways or wherever were just noisy at 3am. Heck there was a dried fermented plum in a corner of the bedframe. I could Not fall asleep in this place at all!Ok, now the positive, it is very conveniently located near Main St of Flushing. But it was all for nothing since I could Not fall asleep so could Not enjoy my short walk to everything the next day.
Rooms were ok. Had to get my first room changed due to the A/C not working. Dude at the front desk tells me the A/C hasnt been switched over in the system yet and Im like why not its the end of April Spring already kicked in. Anyway after complaining 2 more times and him coming up to the room and seeing how Hot it was he then changed the room. Smh! The Rooftop Lounge was a Hit Also!
We just want to have a drink after a long day work, the true is the service at the lounge is terrible!! I had to ask to wipe the table cause it was to grease! Then the waitress came to clean and her long hair went in to my Drink! 😲,I had to take the initiative to ask to change my drink, after I finished my first drink, I asked for a second, guess what, they brought the same drink I refused because the waitreess hair was in, disgusting,
Korean owner and staff are mainly Koreans. Check in was a hassle and wont accommodate you when requesting 1 hr early check in. Explained to staff we just got in from an overnight flight from California. Told us room is not ready but offered to make things happen if we are willing to pay $80 more for early check-in. Hmmm....1 min ago I was told the room wasnt ready???? Close proximity to Chinatown.
Garbage hotel, garbage service. Violated service agreements. Couldnt honor the rooftop bar reservations that were made prior and management made last minute changes without notifying us. Dumb asian manager couldnt speak english and wanted to make up for something by throwing his manager position around. Made up non-existent charges in order to max the credit card used to reserve the room. I wouldnt recommend.
I purchased tickets for the NYE masquerade party and was not able to enter the club. My friends and I were told that the venue was filled to capacity although we purchased our tickets. The venue should have had 2 separate lines, one for admission and another for those who have purchased tickets in advance. I was soo disappointed that I had to sit outside during the countdown
Worst stay of my life….one they should warn people of the $100 deposit fee before you get your room key…The people (woman) at the front desk was really rude and no help at all…my room phone didn’t work I had to use my cell phone or walk down to the first desk for help….and to make matters worst my room was 82 degrees the entire time I was there…
Excellent Customer Service ,The One Boutique Hotel, I highly recommend this outstanding hotel to those who are seeking to be entertain in The Entertainment Capital of the United State and accessible to luxury Firth Avenue in Manhattan New York City close to the philippine consulate.
DisappointingThe lights near the shower didn’t work , the lamp beside the one didn’t work ... the shower was unclean jeez I went downstairs told the very “dry” gentleman who worked there bathroom isn’t clean there is mold and grime ... he made a note and didn’t do anything ...The interior looks good - modern and up to date but not clean 🧼 and the workers weren’t very friendly or happy simply short and abruptI’ll never return to this hotel 🏨
I dont wanna give them even one star, in the room, while sleeping, it smells like a drain, we will find a poor service at the desk. and also they charged me 2 time for the one reservation and no one answer me. please dont go. or just enjoy the spa but it is not that worthy.

2022-01-27The compact room appears newly renovated and is very clean. If you like small spaces then this is the room for you and you will love the compact room because it is renovated and I find it to be very cozy and it makes me feel at home vs a hotel which I like. The bed is actually the most comfortable bed that I have ever been in.It just feels so cozy for me and I really feel like its home. The ambiance in the lobby is really neat, pretty and relaxing.Priyanka and the other staff members are excellent.

2022-06-13Positive: Distance from airport. Negative: Lack of cleanliness. Long black hairs were in towels. Toilet wasnt clean. Short black hours in bed sheets. We asked for new towels and were told it would 15 - 20 minutes. So my fiance went to get them. He brought them back and black hairs were in them.

2022-03-25It was definitely calm vibes. Room was cute , had the bowl bathtub and the balcony near my bed , so the sun hit bright in my room in the morning through those pretty curtains ☀️✨ there were a few unpleasant things I’ve seen like two dirty towels and a broken phone that was very sticky to pick up . so to keep it fair it was pretty but kinda dirty a FAIR 8/10 😩

2022-01-25Positive: The room concept¿.there attempt at decor. Negative: There cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. Considering this hotel is a bit pricey, you¿d think they¿d be a bit more attune appearance AND comfort. I also did not like the fact that they make no attempt at offering some sort of parking subsidy.

2022-05-08You get what you pay for. Rooms are smaller then they look online, staff is unfriendly. They tried to charge us a $300 cash non refundable upgrade fee for a bigger room. You can hear the music from the roof top bar all night. We also asked for more towels and they didn’t bring them to us until midnight. And let’s not forget that the cockroaches come in from the hall ways and enter from under the door seal. Overall, the hotel was not what I expected.

2022-06-10Room was clean and thats about it. The compact room is really tight can barely fit my one bag and move around, the bathroom is just plain stupid you can literally shower on the toilet, the AC stopped working at night i had to shut it off so it works again later maybe its core was frozen, i dont like the location the area is like you have been transferred to asia, metro journey to Manhattan will be an hour+ ,,, front desk employees are dead inside. They will charge you 100$ deposit.

2022-05-31The only nice thing is the beautiful tub. I opened the door to my room and instantly felt so Disconnected. Something was off I just don’t know what it was. I didn’t even unpacked, I just stood by the door for 30 mins trying fight the urge of leaving. Sure enough I checked out. I just didn’t feel safe, my gut was telling me to leave so I did .

Negative: The owner said, the AC cant turn on while in March. The 8 FL Bar music was too loud in 6 and 7 FL area. No AC room temperature is about 87 degrees. Its really hot to sleep. Even the employee cant stand for the room temperature.

2022-05-28Me and a couple of others book rooms on this location for a wedding. They didn’t allow us to do a hotel block which was hard for us. Then booking from 3rd parties canceled a lot of people from our group, which is really frustrating especially when people are coming from another state! Location is also bad with busy nyc traffic no private parking lot. The decor is also terrible cheap black wood chipping away, the office chair we had in the room was stained. Overall this is a bad hotel and they do not know how to manage their guests and overbooking people from 3rd parties. Bad management

2022-04-30First room was cold, second room was cool but absolutely so water pressure, third room was suppose to be right all around, buuut the hvac system never warmed up! I requested a 4th room and was told they were totally booked! We toughed out the night in a cold room ANND to add insult to injury the room (707) was directly below the club where a birthday bash went on till like 3am. The rooms are nice? The staff is ok, but don’t put too much energy into over extending themselves if they don’t have to.Towels are sand paper….beware! If you want to stay here, like I am as of the writing of this review…..DO NOT PAY PREMIUM under no circumstance!!
