Super beautiful space with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It has a very cozy, elegant vibe with plenty of space to bring a date or a group of friends. The drinks were on-point (Dorians Temptation was my favorite). The food was really good as well - our favorites were the ricotta, the duck fat potatoes (ask for the shishito and mushroom aioli on the side!), and the pie in a jar. Our server, AJ, was really attentive, friendly, and all around great. Def gonna be coming back with some friends!
My husband and I went for after dinner drinks on Saturday around 11. Sat at the bar and it was simply great. The staff was not only attentive and knowledgeable but also personable and easy going. We sadly didn’t get our bartenders name but she was amazing, and made suggestions for our second round based on our first order and tastes. The cocktails were very good, the decor is tasteful and the atmosphere wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough! We didn’t have any food but we did have dessert and it was very good. Highly recommend the crème brûlée.
I had an amazing experience at the parlour room. I stumbled upon it to grab dinner before taking my train home and sat at the bar by myself. The bartender Ashley was so pleasant to speak with, she was super knowledgeable with all of the cocktails and guided me through choosing which one I would like best. She kept me company and provided excellent conversation and information about the city; which was super helpful because I’m trying to move into Manhattan! Overall The food was excellent, the atmosphere and architecture, can’t wait to return again!
This is one of the most pleasant dining exercises Ive had in a while. The dining room is spacious. We had one of the booth seats and it was very comfortable for four. The space is well decorated. The food is very good and portions are very large especially by NY standards. Our server was funny, honest about recommendation and very accommodating. All around 5 star experience.
Before I leave this beautiful brown leather chair, I have to say this is the nicest and most beautiful bourbon/whisky/whiskey bar Ive ever been to. I cant speak to everything, but the service detail is as exquisite as the decor; the selection as exceptional as the vibe.If you like brown spirits, want to treat yourself, and are in the area...this is a must!
Easy 5 stars - lived in NY for ten years and am just coming back post Covid. I’m not upset that not everyone knows about this place yet, but objectively it needs to be rated highly.Drinks were on point - I’m partial to whisky and they nailed that. The raven was amazing. Also had the filet mignon and they genuinely executed very well on the food too. I feel like they kept the menu relatively simple and then delivered on the basics especially well - highly recommend.
I thought the food and ambience were great, but we had a bizarre service experience that tainted our evening. We had a 6th person join our 5 person party unplanned. While we perfectly understand the challenges of accommodating guests beyond the reservation number, he comfortably joined us in our booth table. The host came over and reprimanded us, and told us we need to move to another table right as our food arrived. The late guest was made to feel very uncomfortable and left to wait at the bar alone, as other guests followed to keep him company. When a larger table was available 20 mins later, the staff moved all our half eaten and now cold food. It was awkward, unnecessary and against our wishes. It was a confusing and poor customer service experience considering we were sitting comfortably in a booth and in no way disrupting the restaurant.
I went on a Saturday night, without a reservation, but I managed to get a table easily.Atmosphere and food ok, but service was terrible. I dont know if the girl was stressed about something, but the service was very forced and unnatural.I spent $250 and left frustrated. It takes a bit of luck to be well attended, I think...
This place is amazing and their drinks are very good. The decor and vibe are so much fun. We had a great time. If you are in town you should definitely check it out. Keep in mind that this place is a bit on the pricier range, we understand it is NYC, but some of it was a little unjustifiable, like the salmon tartare. On the other hand, their lobster mac and cheese is worth every penny! We highly recommend it.
Everything about this place from the decor, service, food, cocktails, and whiskey list are top tier and well thought out.The space is gorgeous; it has a classic New York feel with contemporary touches. The bartenders make excellent classic cocktails but their specialty cocktails are also worth trying, particularly the Dorians Temptation. The whiskey list is among the most impressive Ive seen in the city, and yes they do flights. The chips and French onion dip are perfect if youre having drinks by the bar. The filet I had was an excellent cut of meat, perfectly prepared. Other highlights were the lamb samosas, duck fat potatoes, and the chocolate cake which is more elegant than its title suggests.Shout out to AJ for the excellent service. Im planning on being a regular here.
The Parlour Room is new whisky centric bar and restaurant with a very intimate design. The speciality drinks are creative and the whisky list is extensive, and dont forget to check out the egg white drinks being shaken using the hand powered shaker. The space is warm and all walls are covered with famous portraits and theres even a library themed portion of the dining room.We had the Tomahawk Ribeye for two and the portion was generous and presentation with mushrooms and jus on the side was great. Its a pricier choice but was quite good! The steak was perfectly cooked. There are two upstairs areas for private events of different sizes. Both spaces are very nice.Full disclosure: I was invited as a part of the friends & family soft opening, all thoughts are my own.

2022-07-14I liked this place alot and met up with a friend that I hadnt seen in 20 years. We liked the comfortable atmosphere so much so, we spent 5 hours catching up at the bar!It was a wonderful space with a very cool design and decor. Great cocktails and delicious food. Our server and bartender Alejandro was excellent. He was personable, helpful and professional. He also made outstanding Manhattans!Overall it was a very good dining experience. I would have given the place 5 stars, however another bartender took that star away with the way he treated me as a guest. At the end of the evening, after spending $500 on a bunch of food and drinks, I asked Jorge for some bread. I enjoyed it with our cheese platter earlier in the evening and thought it might be good to have something else in our stomach. In any event, his unpleasant attitude and approach to customer service was truly not appreciated by me. He was arrogant and told me that we dont serve bread and it is not that kind of restaurant ..... In any event, I was definitely aggravated by his approach. However, Alejandro, with his pleasant approach and professionalism, jumped in and made it right. We got our bread and left happy.I would definitely recommend stopping in. It makes for a terrific night out!

2022-07-10This restaurant is quiet and gives you a cozy feeling compared to its size. Their cocktail is decent, and well balanced. Food quality was nice and after ordering their whiskey flight, the bartender nicely explained the history of the whiskey (FYI, we ordered Great Jones Whiskey Flight). I’m planning on sitting at the bar on my next visit.

2022-04-03Really great cocktails. Nice, cozy ambience. Great place for a night out. The music wasn’t loud. The staff was friendly and attentive. It wasn’t too busy on a Saturday night. We made reservations for a late seating before the kitchen closed. We were able to order some food. The cocktails are about $20 each which is expected. They have a wide selection of liquors. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good cocktail and a nice place to go. If you’re a fan of old fashions, they make a really good one. I will definitely come back again.

2022-01-05Very cool spot with upscale-speakeasy vibes! The space is gorgeous, the food and the drinks are good, and its priced higher for those very special occasions or when you want to impress. Cindy is wonderful; she was attentive, friendly, and all around a super star! The Lobster Mac n Cheese, Ricotta, and Pecan Pie were all amazing!

2022-04-12I never wanted to leave! This place is so cute, our server recommended some off menu cocktails and and guided us to all the right food choices. It was a spendy evening but holy wow, it was worth it. The food was fantastic and the drinks were (I know this sounds ridiculous but…) sublime. I will return

2022-04-22The Parlour Room is impressive in all aspects; the exterior, meticulously designed interior, staff and libations all enhance the experience. My Bartender, Ashley, was so knowledgeable on the impressively sized bar menu, and was able to pinpoint which two cocktails Id like best: Dorians Temptation and the Raven. She makes a perfect old fashioned as well. Definitely worth seeking out.

2022-04-18The Parlour Room can be summed up in one word. Amazing. The Whiskey tasting (flights) we picked by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizers of crab and shrimp wanton and dirty rice Arancini were excellent. For dinner we had the Tomahawk steak for two. It was cooked perfectly. Our great guides through the whiskey, appetizers and dinner were Adel and Luis. Thank you, gentlemen for the terrific evening. The atmosphere at the bar and at the tables are comfortable and modern. The Parlour Room is designed and set up like your favorite restaurant if you could designed it from scratch.

2022-01-18New, higher end concept by the same group behind Ragtrader next door. Lofty, high ceiling space with mezzanine. Great signature cocktails that are elegant twists on classics. High recommend the Dubliner. They also have a Singapore Raffles’ style cocktail shaker.

2022-05-15We stumbled onto this place after having a poor time at Magic Hour Rooftop. I love the decor and vibe. The food was really good, I had chips and dip as a starter and then a cheeseburger with fries.
