If I could I would give this place a ZERO. My grandfather had a horrible experience. He would cry everytime we left and come to find out someone was hitting him. We spoke to the nurse manager and she did nothing to help us figure out who was working that shift. They would leave him in dirty diapers and not help him eats his food. Just because there’s some staff members who do well with your loved ones doesn’t mean they will all will treat them with the same respect.
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HEREThey are unsanitary and do not care about your loved ones. They treat them poorly and wait until the very last minute to get your loved one to the hospital if they are in distress. My brother caught sepsis 2 times and the last time he was transported to the hospital with SEVERE sepsis that they did not catch it and led to a stroke and his ultimate DEATH.NO ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD PLACE ANYONE IN THIS FACILITY!!!!!!!!🚩🚩🚩🚩
My mom was here for about two weeks, the experience was unpleasant. Most people worked on the eighth floor were cold and couldnt care less about the well-being of the patient (except for a young guy named Angy. He was kind and attentive). Out of dismay I decided to move my mom to a different facility. However, people in charge of providing the paperwork didnt do anything for whole three days. Every extra day in the Pavilion was torture for the patient inside as well as the family outside. My mom cried a lot but nothing I could do to help. One star is to Ms. Erika. She did what she promised to do - got the paperwork done in one day. My mom stayed here twice before, the experience wasnt so bad. Thats why I chose it again this time. However, it will be the last time for sure.
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! My husband suffered a brain aneurysm and was transferred to The Pavilion for rehab with a trach. Within two weeks his trach was removed and I walked in on him almost dying. The staff called an emergency. After he was stabilized, I asked how can we make sure this doesnt happen again. The supervisors response was whats the problem, hes alive right? I was shocked and had no choice but to leave him there, just for him to be sent to Jamaica Hospital by 911 a few hours later. At the hospital I found out he had pneumonia from asperating on his own vomit which caused other complications that he died from. At some point he threw up, they cleaned his clothes but never examined him. He died because of this. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, THEY WILL DIE. THERE IS NO MEDICAL STAFF AT THIS PLACE.
For those who remember this, its the Leonards of rehab centers. Nicely appointed, clean rooms and never smelly. The staff is the best: all three shifts are kind and very professional. Nurse Helen of the third shift was understanding and perceptive, taking a few moments to calm me down and explain my panic. Nurse MaryLou was the classic head nurse: crisp in her comments but obviously humorous. EVERYBODY, aides, cleaners, food service staff, professionals, should all get the highest raises and the best bonuses.
My mom was here rehabbing for hip replacement surgery. The physical therapists were great and the night nurses were nice. But the daytime nurses gave my mom problems with giving her pain medication on time for pretty much the majority of her two week stay. She would repeatedly ask the nurses but they wouldn’t bring it in to 30 minutes to an hour later which threw her schedule off which caused her discomfort and lack of sleep.
My relative is currently recovering at this facility after being hospitalized for 2 months and not knowing whether she was going to survive. She is now struggling at this facility. Just yesterday she was on the phone with my husband for 1 hour in which she informed the staff she needed to use the bathroom and was told just a minute even after my husband got off the phone with her nobody had come to help her go to the bathroom. She told my husband this morning that she was reprimanded by the staff this morning for not having the soiled diaper still on.We are very concerned since due to all the restrictions we are not able to physically visit her. All we really ask for is some compassion for someone who is very vulnerable at this time.
The Pavilion offers free valet, a must since its locationed in a very congested area. Ive noticed their updates in the waiting area &check in is now quick & simple, both are nice. However it is an old building with slower than slow elevators. The rooms itself are comfortably sized per adult but the bathrooms need updating. Such as more hand rails around the toilet seat,a must(better independence for the patient)&a sink that has space enough to put down hygiene products should be given. The staff is friendly overall although very scarce at night. The bed &other areas were kept clean, a plus indeed. Improvements are still needed but, overall totally recommendable.
Never place your loved in this facility, because their goal is very different from you goals. Your goal is to have your loved recovery ASAP, but their goal is to keep your loved in the facility forever so they can earn more money. When you talked staff, they will promise whatever you ask and then forget totally. My father is currently in this facility and my mom stay with him everyday and these staff is still lazy, for those not have people accompany with, you can image how those staff can take care of your loved. I am working on a new facility now and will move my father leave this terrible facility ASAP.
This is a FIRST CLASS FACILITY!!! Everyone from the reception desk, the custodial services , the aids, nurses, OT, PT, Directors are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! AND AMAZING!! All of the staff is extremely welcoming, encouraging, reassuring and competent. They work together like a family to care for the patients. My mother in law raves about the care she received and plans on returning to this facility when she gets her other upcoming knee surgery!
For the first rehab/nursing home I ever took my mother, aside from being afraid, this place made me feel at ease. Most of the staff were nice, caring and tentive to her. The place was clean,. The only problem Is that at night they seem to be understaffed and lost patience with my mother bc she was a night Walker and prone to falling and it was too much for them to handle, so all I kept hearing was complaints, in which made me feel she was unsafe in theyre hands.
This place truly only deserves a 2 star. Since COVID all the employees including the Social Worker has no clue as to what is happening with any patients. My dad has been there for a while and I can never receive any information and if I decide to find out I need to call 10 different people and wait at least 2-3 days for a response. This is very unprofessional unless we are only being treated this way because we are black.
My mother stayed here for a month and the entire nursing staff here is extremely poor and has bad customer service. My mother is blind and presses the call bell for assistance. The nursing staff gave a bad attitude to my mother and told her to stop pressing the bell, then snatched the bell from her hand. The nurses are lazy and often times find them on their phones or chatting with one another. Every nurse has a poor attitude to the patients and only try to be better if family members are here. One night, my mom had pressed the bell and no one came for a long time. When I went to look for a nurse, they were chatting at the front desk. Often times, I would have to go out and find a nurse to help my mother myself.Another night, one of the nurses told my mother to go ahead and report him to his supervisor and to not intimidate him. It is unacceptable the way that the nurses communicate and treat their patients. The nurses are also impatient. When feeding my mother, they shoved food down her throat before she was able to swallow.I understand it is not easy to care for the sick and elderly, but customer service is very important and the nursing staff here needs to improve in providing better customer service.Bring your family here at your own risk. I would highly recommend any other nursing home and rehab.
Don’t use this place... These people were thieves and crooks... My dad was transferred from the Northwell Hospital to this place in early February and I did bring over 3 bags of clothing that had 2 watches and a pair of his reading glass inside on the 2nd day he was transferred to this particular rehab. Unfortunately, he passed 2 days later (a bit suspicious on the cause of his death but my family had decided to deal with them later) and I had been tried to retrieve his belongings during the last few weeks with fruitless result. These people claimed that they had no record of such in their inventory as well as any record of me bringing anything over. They should have reviewed their CCTV and known that I did give the reception desk 3 bags of items instead of playing games with me. So don’t use them under any circumstance...
My mother was checked in to the facility in the middle of August. The staff was professional. My mom was assigned to the fourth floor, the social worker Elizabeth was extremely helpful and responsive, very detail oriented. Henry from PT was wonderful, Mohammad was amazingly patient. Marlyn and Lisa were very helpful. I understand the frustration from some of the negative posts, but the environment filled with ill or aging people is challenging from anyone. I highly applaud the staff on fourth floor coping with the challenges with extremely professionand patience.
This nursing home deserves a 6 STARS. Modern, updated centrally located with inpresive recovery exercise rooms. (My brother and I made 8 tours visiting different nursing facilities in Flushing), our father will be 2 years at this facility, we are very gratefull and with gratitude that our father is in good health now.It start with the greeting of the valet personal fallow up with the alertness of front desk and securities. Then going to the 6th floor I encounter so many employees doing different tasks when the elevator stop at the 6th floor. I would like to give a warmest thanks to all the personal, all first responders specially in this time of the pandemic, which they doing now with professionalism and care. To all 6th floor staff,Mrs Gonzalez, Liza and Samantha in recreation making posible comunications between families and our love ones, with face time phones again thanks to all.To Eli in administration department so profesional andTo the family the run and own this health bussiness that they listen to any issue by making and impromptu meeting with patience relatives and adressing all off the issues.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to other people. My uncle was admitted a couple of days ago n my aunt has been at his bedside from morning to night. The nurse who brought him his lunch also brought an extra lunch for my aunt. That was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. It really touched my heart. Thank you to the nurse and staff. 🙂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My mother was placed here from Flushing hospital, this place and the hospital were HORRIBLE!!!, The STAFF are LAZY, and RUDE!!!, They left the window open and my mom pushed the help button to ask the aide to close the window, but when she finally arrived, she Exclaimed “it’s one am , What do you Want!!!, and they refused to let her make phone calls , the gave her a broken phone, also the food was so bad that I called in an order and they never gave my mom the food until the next day, the aides were abusive when washing the patient, I took my mother before anymore damage could be done!!!! The management should train the staff to do the required job !!!! Shame on You !!!
I would give it five stars, but unfortunately some staff members are incredibly difficult to deal with, and their behavior does not seem to be corrected even after you make a complaint. The higher ups, like Mr Barry from administration or the medical supervisor Dr Butchka Olaf are extremely nice. Its just unfortunate that the many of the aides, or people who attend the patient are not as good in social interactions and come out to be rude.A nursing home is as good as its staff. Luckily, I have some great aides taking care of my dad. I come here just about every day to visit him, and for the most part the staff is friendly. He has been here for over 5 years, and they make him smile by acknowledging him and calling his name and smiling when they see him.Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples. One, in particular, that I have had the horrible experience of meeting with multiple times, is a nurse by the name of Ms Davis. Her tone is extremely rude and condescending. She doesnt look at, seems to have a haughty attitude, and doesnt seem to acknowledge you or the patient. Many of the workers acknowledge this about her. However, I think this is the case with all nursing homes. There are a few bad apples. Still, it is the administrations job to find the bad apples and remove them.Update:Im giving them one star because they banned me from seeing my father because I was administering him his daily dosage of medical marijuana. I see him almost every day and have been giving this to him for over a year. He has a doctors prescription and it greatly helps his Parkinsons. The staff knows me well, and instead of consulting me about it, the administration outright banned me. I will probably be moving him to a new nursing home, which would be hard for my dad who is in stage 5 (final stage) of advanced Parkinsons with dementia.Update3 stars, had a meeting with them. Administrator Barry is very nice and lifted the ban. Still I think it could have been handled better. They need to integrate a policy for marijuana treatment. Another nice understanding person that has good knowledge of medical marijuana here is Dr Butchka Olaf (sp?). Said he would talk to my dads pcp regarding medical marijuana.
This is the worst place to send a loved one, especially one is who is not able to talk or communicate their needs. Their trach floor is horrible and by far the worst staff and even worst attitude. Ive seen patients lying in their own urine and feces for hours, because the patient is not able to vocalize their needs they are left like that until its their turn for patient care. My father was here unfortunately, so I am telling you from experience. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. I had to argue with the staff everyday to get basic needs for my father, being that I am a medical professional I knew my fathers patients rights and exercised them as he could not speak due to his trach. Aside from two or three of the staff which were actually helpful and God bless them. Other than that nobody cares from administration to the nursing assistants, and when you ask for help they tell you to go to someone else. It is very unfortunate and a disgrace how the 3rd floor is run. My family and I suffered having my father here, we were their every single day for the 4 -5 months he was at the facility to ensure he was getting the care he needed. I had to argue with the night administrator to get my father floor mats and a bed alarm, after he had fallen off the bed. Can you imagine that? And yes he had fallen 2 times after that as well. Two of the times my mother or myself came into the room to see him like that and crying when we came to visit, and the staff had no idea about it. The 3rd floor is a disgrace to how patients should be treated. This was my unfortunate experience here. Good luck.
If I could give this place a Zero I would!!!!! If you love your love ones PLEASE DONT SEND THEM HERE! I just arrived at 4:30 pm and its 6:27 pm and I called an ambulance to please come get my brother! Dont be fooled by the pics, they only show the good stuff. Floor 3 is dirty and staff Ratchet as their supervisor! Please come see it first before you decide to bring your love ones. Also staff on 3rd floor are very rude and unprofessional starting with their night nurse supervisor Germaine Frantz! He was so disrespectful not only to my mother and I but also to the paramedics that came to get my brother. In fact he for into one of the paramedics face at that point I worried about my brothers safety! Cause I couldnt believe the anger this supervisor had. Never in my life have I encountered this kind of behavior from a place thats suppose to be caring and loving. I shouldve paid attention to the bad reviews I read, but I wanted to give this place a fair chance.
I highly recommend this facility. The staff is professional and very nice and accommodating. I was a there for rehab and was treated with quality care. One night before bed I asked the CNA for a cup of ice, and every night she brought me a cup of ice without my asking. Everyone that worked there were professional and very nice.I will be going back once my final surgery is completed. Thank you Pavilion !
Attention for all that are looking for an honest review This Place looks nice on the outside . But the staff in the inside are HORRIBLE! DONOT trust this place with your loved ones . My aunt was recently in this place and she was pale, not eating , complaining about pain & they did NOTHING to help her . A family member went to visit & they told staff members to call an ambulance and the refused the said nothing was wrong with her ! And still this family member plead with them to please get some medical attention for my aunt and they said she’s fine and you have no authority to tell us to get medical attention for her only her daughter can have say ! So this family member called the daughter and finally when he daughter got off work she went in and told the call ambulance or I will take her ! They called an ambulance. Made it to the hospital and doctors ran some test and immediately placed her on life support ! The doctors said because we waited to too long there was nothing they could do . These people deserve a NEGATIVE star!! Don’t trust them with your loved ones. You’ll regret it .
They where negligently irresponsible they almost let my mother die, didnt give her dialysis for four days, regardless of me letting them know that she needs dialysis, they refuse to give her insulin they just didnt give her, her meds for three days until my lawyer call them. Then they were so angry at me they discharged her. The lady next bed did not let my mom watch tv, and they say nothing my mother was paying just like she was. Never Ill go or recommend any one to go there.
My mother was in the Pavilion for 9 months. She is home and happy. There were some ups and downs but my mother managed to pull through with the help, support and love of certain members of your staff. First, we would like to particularly thank Richard (her Respiratory Therapist) who we all believe was the light of fire pushing and encouraging my mother to fight harder to reach her goals. We were also very fond of the Respiratory Therapist Martha. In addition, we would like to thank the three CNAs Bernadette, Olie and Pat, who were extra sensitive to my mothers needs. Also, special thanks to the nursing supervisor Barbara (who is excellent at her job) and to the nursing supervisor Joyce as well. And, last but not least to the two nurses on the second floor Vanessa and Silvana, whom my mother referred to as her second daughters. We were also fond of the other nurses on that floor, in particular Joyce, Gregory and Mark. I will end on this final note. I would like to express what a kind and compassionate man Richard Sherman is. He did his best to make sure that all of my mothers needs were met while stating at the Pavilion. He is prompt and efficient in addressing all of my concerns while my mother was staying at the Pavilion.Laura, Helena and Paul
My grandma needs long term care and has been living on Chinese floor for some time.My whole family and my grandma herself love this floor very much! They take care of my grandma well and the food they provide looks delicious! The only one shortcome of this floor is lack of Chinese speaking staff. Though there are supervisor, nurse and social worker speak Chinese during the day time. One night when I came to visit, I saw a Chinese old patient was very aggressive and tried to use her cane to hit the black young nurse, she was cursing in Chinese that she didnt get the correct medicine. The other patients were frightened at that time. I would give five stars if they can hire more Chinese speaking staff, Lol. Anyway, bring you loved ones to here.
My dad suffered a stroke in August 2014 and the family after friends recommended the facility decided to bring him here. At the time, it was called William Benenson Rehabilitation. My dad was first placed on the 2nd floor, moved to the 3rd floor then eventually ended up on the 9th floor. We met a lot of staff during all the moves. Some very nice. Some not so much. It was a love/hate relationship from the get go.My mom, sister and I made a lot of trips to the Director of Nursings office, the administrator and the social workers. Needless to say, despite raising hell, all our concerns were handled and addressed in the most professional and friendly way. Before the year ended, my whole family came to depend and relied so much on the staff for my dads safety and well being. At the end of the day, we all went home and slept peacefully knowing my dad was well taken care of, and he was safe. When we found out the facility was being bought, our biggest concern was not who was coming but most importantly, who was leaving. It was a big relief knowing the key personnel who we came to rely so much are all staying. My dad passed away in September 2015. Peacefully in his bed, in the now namedThe Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation and Nursing. We never met the new owners however, Lisa, the Director of Nursing, who has been with us through all our struggles has made it very clear to us how much they care about patient care. My dad was not an easy person to take of. We werent any better. Our heartfelt gratitude to the new owners for making sure patient care comes first and foremost in their mission. To whoever has a struggle on where to bring your love one for rehab or to have someone else help you care for that most important person in your life when it was a struggle to do it on your own, this is the place to go.
If I could give this place a negative number I would!! Dont let the outside appearance fool you, inside is a filth box. The patient I was visiting was there for 3 weeks before he passed away from their incompetence. Not once was his room cleaned. He developed a bacterial infection from this horrid place. And that was that. He was there for rehab and they killed him. If you love your family member i beg you not to send them to this place. The only bright spot to this place are the nurses!
BEWARE!! See photos of what really goes on there! I would honestly give this place zero stars if I could. All of these reviews here are fake and written by the establishment. See yelp for the one star rating that they actually do have. My mom was only here for a few days before she past. She was young and was only sent their to be treated for her operation. They were extremly low staff the night she died, they made an error and put a smaller size tube in her throat and she ended up dying the same night that they did that. Not to mention on top of that, they STOLED her brand new phone that my family just bought her!! My mom didnt even have a chance at her new life due to these people, please be very careful if you send your loved one here. I seen it with my own eyes, my mom was fine before they made the mistake on their part. As I was there I had to ask the nurse two times just for an advil because my mom was in pain. They dont care about you or your family, its a money driven business that cares about only profit, whether it means taken a life or many. I remember waiting in a lobby with some of the other familys downstairs and a patient there was screaming and literally turned to us and said becareful if you have family here, this place is a concentration camp, and boy was he right. I wish I could do it all over again and NEVER send my mom there. It is insane how the lady who owned the flower shop next to my moms funereal had a similar thing happened to her mother who was there. She was literally there for only a few days before she died. Be very careful of this place, they honestly should not run a business the way they do.
The bathrooms stunk, the showers had large amounts of mold growing in them and there were bugs crawling and flying around the facility. It was extremely difficult to get to see the medical doctor during his short and changing hours. My family was more than disappointed and I was frustrated when I had to return to the hospital for a two week stay because no one bothered to tell the doctor how ill I was becoming. The bedroom photos were taken in the physical therapy center. The therapists worked harder than any one there. Unfortunately they are controlled by insurance payments. Not a place to send your loved ones.
LESS THAN ZERO BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT AT LEAST ONE STAR......HORRIBLE!!! To be honest my Mom said the people doing the rehab and the dialysis were nice. The staff on her floor left much to be desired. They left my Mom sit in her own waste for hours. They were abusive to the residents. They had the nerve to do construction to make more rooms to mistreat more people directly across from my Moms room. Ripping plaster down an installing new dry wall, there was dust everywhere and my Mom was on oxygen. If you love the person you are thinking of place in it the HELL HOLE think again!!
From beginning to end I was impressed with the Pavilion. The high tech check-in and check-out system was very efficient. The water wall is beautiful. The decor was elegant. The lighting in the hallways provided a comfortable ambiance. There was an absence of that hospital smell which made for a relaxing and pleasant visit.
I was truly satisfied of the service and care my grandmother received but I DID NOT CARE FOR THE WAY WE WERE TOLD SHE PASSED...I would appreciate getting a call from the facilities Director to further discuss the issue. As no sensitivity at all was shared when the news about my grandmother passing was informed to her elderly son.
More attention to be given with patience andunderstanding when admitting a new patient .The staff is new and so is the patient. This field of work calls for patience, hard work and dedication. Overall, friendly staff, well keptbuilding. Happy Holidays to one and all.God bless.
The worst nursing home ever! I wish I can give it 0 stars. The nurses dont pay any attention to the patients. I had to go there myself to find out what was going on in which to see my father. He got there on Monday and by Friday night he was close to death. He went there for rehab to help him with walking as he would fall a lot. I came to find him having trouble breathing. Did they ever check to see how he was doing?!!? I just had to deal with losing a loved one, dont let this happen to you!
My mom has been living on 8th floor for one year, they call this floor as Chinese floor because most patients are Chinese. The supervisor and nurse are Chinese, they are very helpful and responsible. They provide Chinese food which is good for Chinese old people. So far, my mom and my family are satisfied with their service and really appreciate the staffs hard working. When we sit down and talk with other family members, it looks like small Chinese community in Flushing, Lol. Only one fat lady she is aid acts like boss, yelling to the patient, when come to work in the afternoon, sitting in dining room eating and talking on phone, sometimes has face time in hallway which is really bad. Not only me but the other family members have same feelings. Anyway, Ill recommend to send your beloveds to here, especially if you are Chinese, Lol.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother and my uncle both resided there when it was William Benenson Rehab Pavilion and then it changed hands. The food has gotten worse and the care is close to negligent. Bandages do not get changed daily as they should and my mother was told she was not allowed to go to the hospital even though she was vomiting GI tract fluid. When she finally ended up in the hospital for two weeks, they packed up her belongings, but not before stealing some, and discharged her without even a phone call. They have a big sign in the lobby saying they were rated as one of the best nursing homes in Queens but in fact that was when it was Benensons, not now. The social workers do not follow through and your loved ones will not be taken care of here. Do not send them here.
Staff are rude & facility owner is cheap. I was on elevator w/family going up to visit a relative but 2 black orderlies blocked us from getting off when elevator doors opened. Their rude and disrespectful attitude was typical for this place. After getting off the elevator, I asked woman who was sitting at front desk (wearing scrubs) for where patients room was located, she said oh I dont work here, got up and walked away. Other people sitting in nearby office would not help either. At time to leave, waited 10 minutes with family for elevator to arrive. This is despite the fact that there are 3 elevators next to each other; owner was cutting costs by allowing only 1 of them to operate. Staff even said we couldnt use the stairs to walk down - 1 stairwell was blocked with caution tape and other 1 apparently had an alarm on it. If you have the chance, say no way to this place.
Dont bother trying to call no one ever answers. The security personnel r professional. Therapist r considerate of their patients. Ive dealt with 3rd fl.since April n must say Im not pleased at all. I was away from there thru oct due to. Personal reasons. My sister isnt allowed to get up alone due to falling incidents because she isnt completely able to do on her own. She has to use bathroom n rings bell n hmmm no one appears. I was there from 1210 thru 545 and it was when I was leaving that someone came in to change her.. she n i changed her earlier how can a person be left in smelly pamper for so many hours. I wish I lived closer so I could b there every day. Staff is not around at desk so thats a laugh n dt ask another person a question . I witnessed a tray being shoved tho someone in the dining room n once I was made aware of the person acted like they were helping the poor lady who was in need of help. If ppl dt like working with these ppl than quit n work elsewhere. Where is the administrators in all of this.
This facility is beautiful! Staff are all super nice and extremely helpful and are very understanding especially with families while they are going through the hardships of a family member thats not well. They also have a a Rehab room that is pretty spectacular, they even have a real car and house layout in order to reteach patients how to live independently again. Would definitely recommend this facility.
My aunt has been at Pavilion for the last month or so and her health and general happiness have improved so much — it’s remarkable. On my visits, the staff have been kind and helpful. The place is tranquil and clean. I can’t get over how much better she is doing.I highly recommend Pavilion.
This is the worst place ever, dont place any loved one here. My dad was getting suctioning while at the hospital and once they transferred him to the pavilion they stopped suctioning. He had so much mucus in his lungs and mouth that he was using a toothbrush to pull it out, and they saw and still didnt do anything. He finally died from suffocation there, and when we kept asking for help, they kept saying they need a doctors ok. My dad slowly suffocated to death there and no one helped. They had the nerve to say it was just his time to go when he passed. He was thrashing in the bed and kicking his feet because he couldnt breath, and no one bothered to help. At one point someone brought a suction machine but then just left because they DIDNT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE MACHINE! seriously dont bring anyone here. They were supposed to call me and explain what happened according to them and nothing. And no one answers the phone. Just ridiculous
My husband Yimin Feng stayed at Pavilion for 5 weeks, during which period he was taken very good care of by all working staff there. We’re particularly thankful to the social worker Elisabeth. Our Special thanks go to Essica, who helped to arrange Feng’s dialysis at Pavilion as an outpatient even after he was discharged from there. That means so much to us! We can never thank her enough. Essica is the kindest person on earth! Thanks again to everyone at Pavilion! Merry Xmas to you all!
This place sucks. My father was here 2 weeks and I cant say a damn thing good about it. Messed up food orders that get replaced with crappy tuna sandwiches. ...garbage on the floor through 2 days....doctors that say they only see patients once a week unless its an emergency....if your choice is between here and death...choose death.
I would like to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff on the Ninth floor of the Pavilion. Their outstanding support and care while I was in rehabilitation recently, facilitated my quick recovery to move on to the next steps after my successful surgery.Again, much appreciated and forever grateful.Sincerely,Maria Monserrate
Horrible. nurses treat patients very badly. I see how to speak inappropriately to many elderly people, very dirty rooms, ask for help and take more than 30 minutes. Please, if you have no other option, and it is necessary that your family member or friend be in this place. Do not leave them alone, many nurses do not know what it is to love the professionhorrible. nurses treat patients very badly. 2022-02-06Currently allowing visits only after taking rapid tests.Only issue was communicating with Day Staff after few phone calls. Recovering relative is doing well and the overall experience is a positive one.Parking is a hassle since The Pavilion is located off of Northern Blvd and a busy Shell Gas station.

2022-02-05The worst rehabilitation center, my grandfather was here and no one took care of him. He was in this place and he basically did diarrhea on the bed and in the bathroom. He cant walk because in the hospital they did surgery and this place, the nursing and no one went to help him. we call this center for 2 hours and no one answer, then we call 911 and they went and took him to the hospital. Dont take your family there, this is the worst place ever and please search and look up the place first.

2022-05-13I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Nurses are nasty, DON and assistant DON lies to me people about the facility and how amazing it is. Everyone in there act like little kids and act like they have no class. The worst place I ever been to. Not worth any stars. I’ve definitely visited other nursing home that’s better than this place. It’s horrible !! Nurses yelling at residents, and acting like they from the streets.

2022-04-01The night staff is really Inefficient, staring with the person that is in charge with the Night Shift. I really recommend to look for another options where the patients receive an actual care.

2021-09-21I’m writing about my sister in law and the wonderful experience that we had with the staff of the Pavillion. The aides and nurses, along with the rehab team are so friendly, helpful, show compassion , and listen . My sister in law is not a complainer, so I asked the floor nurse to ask her how she is, did she need anything for pain, which she did. The aides were so friendly and helpful . Also, the team that greets you upon entering the facility are so sweet and friendly . What a wonderful experience since my sister in law who entered in July looked like she wasn’t going to make it and is leaving able to walk with a walker with some assistance . The ladies in the Medicare office were great, the social worker always got back to me when I emailed her and your concierge lady was on the ball and informed. Thank you to all of you. The facility was clean and taken care of.

2022-02-17This place is absolutely filthy and infested to say the least. Went in to visit my father and saw multiple roaches in the closet, and heres the proof of one running out. I rushed to tell the housekeeper on 6th floor to do something about it, and all she did was look at her phone and walk away. Well done on your staff. Whoever hired her should be fired! Im disgusted!!!

2022-01-22This place wont even gave patient the drug. If you can get even 1 pill, you are very very very lucky. And if the patient was sick, even he/she cannot breathe. They still dont care about you. My grandpa passed away just because of all that. Just half an hour before his death, he was already very sick and fall unconscious. The care center still refused to call 911 or any hospital.

2022-02-14Staff is pleasant - elevators can be super slow - pls consider allowing guests to use stairs (I understand for resident safety ) but for overall safety visitors should be able to use stairs
