I am a union construction worker injured on the erection of a high rise building in Manhattan back in 2016. After the accident I knew i was going to need legal representation. I have to start by saying hands down the best law Firm I have ever had. Silvana helped me through the whole process. My case was an injury from 12yrs ago that I re injured. Not only did she get me paid for being at home for 3-1/2 months but I had money in the first 4wks to pay my bills. She also had the courts approve my surgery with out me going in to court one time. After surgery Silvana called to check on me to make sure I was ok. I truly don’t believe I would have bin able to get my surgery or money to pay my bills while going through this if not for Perecman Firm and Silvana stepping up to be my voice. Real talk ?:these courtesies are extended to each client who enters , regardless of ethnicity or demeanor. Unfortunately , this is rare nowadays , especially in NYC.I’ve visited this office @ least 10 times since 2017 and the positive energy is consistent. I even enjoy the wait once I arrive because it’s very quiet and calm. I never have to worry about overhearing unnecessary , loud and irrelevant conversations about what someone had for dinner last night or their commute from Long Island. The office is clean and the deep leather seating is comfortable . Even though I use those 10 minutes of wait time to text , read or review my paperwork , ,the light chit chat with the main receptionists and office managers are always informative .Because they’ve seen me before , or are accustomed to hearing my voice when I call to make an appointment there’s a familiarity during the wait time that is not only pleasant , but also helpful when they search for particular information that I may request about my case or my team .Ok like, I get it? they’re obviously trained and educated professionals ; so it’s not like you’re walking into a day spa, but it bears emphasizing that the immediate respect is not fake. It’s just who they are and how the staff flows. Maya Angelou once said ;” when people show you who they are , believe them” As a client , my time is important. If there was the slightest inkling of disrespect or jerk behavior? I would not have retained this firm’s services. In fact , this entire review would’ve been just as long but with a completely opposite narrative. Facts.Finally , regardless of the positive work environment , good intentions are no substitute for competence. @ the end of the day , Perecman Group gets favorable results ethically . They are credentialed , highly skilled and tenacious. When I first read the reviews I was excited to be working with them. I got to their office and explained everything to them. I was told I did not have a case and that I would have to do a bunch of leg work in order for them to continue with the personal injury. They did help me with the workers comp case. I went to another lawyer and was told they would look into my claim and they would let me know what happens. The other firm help me extremely. They filed a lawsuit on my behalf and settled the case. I was told by Perecman that they could not do anything and just closed my case instead of asking worker comp for more money since I already settled with the other company. My lawyer at Rubin and Associates told me that they could have helped me more instead of just closing the case. Now i am not a lawyer but I went to a big time lawyer in the city (Perecman) which I though would be great and the small town lawyer in the Bronx (Rubin and Associates) are the lawyers that know what they are talking about and helped me with my personal injury case. The staff at Perecman are good but they did not seem to have my best interest at heart. If you do go here please get a second opinion. I did and came out on TOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And since I know they could have helped me even after the personal injury settlement I am even more disappointed in the Perecman Group.

I worked very closely with The Perecman Firm, P.L.L.C. as I photographed the entire team over the course of three business days in advance of the launch of their new website between July and September 2015.You can imagine after spending three days together, we all get very well acquainted in the process. Reviews are not my thing, but this firm deserves mine and here it is why...My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2017. I cant even describe how traumatic, stressful and overwhelming this has been, not only for my mother, but for our whole entire family. She stopped working because she physically couldnt do it anymore. Chemotherapy has been really hard on her to the point of giving her serious permanent side effects. One day we got a letter from her Union notifying us that her benefits were going to expire and that we should consider filling for Disability Benefits. Another thing to add to the stress pile, no work, no benefits. You do the math. Without knowing what to do, who to call, what to expect, I decided to contact the Perecman Law Firm. I personally know people that have been clients of the firm, because they were involved in construction accidents, and they have had good outcomes,so I gave them a call to see if they could also help my mother with the Disability case. God only knows how happy we are for making that call. Mrs. Silvana Leone was the person that helped us. She is what my mom calls a gift from God, the day of our appointment, she met us with a smile and a hug that made us feel comfortable in a time of crisis. She took the time to guide us and explained how social security disability works, something that was completely overwhelming to comprehend, it wasnt anymore. She sat with us for a couple of hours. went thru my mothers history and condition, step by step. Before we left her office, we got a confirmation from social security notifying us that my mothers application was received. Within 3 weeks Social security has approved her retirement and she was able to collect her first check. This not only helps my moms finances, but It is one thing less to worry about. Silvana did that for her, and there is no money or words to express how grateful we are to have met Silvana. She is not only an amazing professional but also an amazing human being. My very first experience with dealing with attorneys occurred in 2006. Needless to say that was a horrific experience. So when I was injured at work (on a construction site) again in 2014. I remembered how poorly I was represented and how badly mistreated I was by the previous attorneys that I had. So I was very mindful and selective about the attorney I choose.So after finding out the seriousness of my injuries I begin my search for an attorney. I asked friends and co-workers if they knew if any good attorneys. My search lead me to an attorney whom said all the rights things that a injured person in need of help wants to hear. After a couple of weeks I came to the harsh reality that it was all talk because he didnt do any of the simple things that hed promise me. Like answering or returning my phone calls when workmans comp stop sending me checks. So my frustrations multiplied and Immediately begin searching for another attorney.Then I remembered on day at work someone at the job site passing on teeshirts.(which was a brilliant idea). I couldnt remember the name of the law firm. So I got the shirt out of my closet and I called in and made a appointment at the Perceman firm.Straight out the gate I was met with very warm reception from the first gentleman that I spoke with. I cant remember his name but when struck good convo when he found out that I was from Springfield gardens and he told me that he went to Springfield high.When I first stepped into the office I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. My very first meeting was with Mario Swarsnari. He careful listened to all of my problems and all of my concerns. Especially my concerns about the poor representation that I had by other attorneys. He assured me that I would never have those problems with the attorneys here. He then told me that if for any reason I didnt have any issues resolved call him and he will get answers for me. He then gave me all of his contact info including his cell phone number. It has been a year now and hes been a man of his word. I havent had any issues but he has answered several questions that I had.Also Savana with my workmans comp case has been spectacular dealing with the many issues that Ive had with the workmans company board. They offer on their website a free consultation. However, that doesnt happen. The call lasted for 15 seconds and then the lawyer hanged up on me. Talked to me with a rude tone and with absolute indifference. I would not recommend this firm, since they are going to treat you like you are not enough of a bigwig for them and their money.

I’m most pleased with the attention to details and the diligence of Perecman’s workers compensation dept. They kept on top of all aspects my case, making sure I wasn’t “short changed” in any way. Especially noteworthy is the fact that they were able to show that NYSIF incorrectly calculated my average weekly salary (lower than actual).

2022-02-06I suffered from a traumatic fall that fractured my femur. At first, I was working with the liable insurance just to cover medical cost of my recovery. They sounded nice and caring, but before I even started PT, they were rushing me to get my claim to close by asking how much time I needed. It was not an easy decision, but I turned to The Perecmen Firm and I’m very glad that I did. My lawyer, Sagar, was very passionate and very knowledgeable in guiding me through my recovery where I was able to focus on my recovery versus trying to work with the liable insurance who just wanted me to walk it off. Sagar was extremely accurate in his estimated times of different parts of the litigation process, even through the pandemic. I felt very comfortable in trusting him to handle all the things I was not able to do myself. Thank you so much. You have my greatest gratitude.

2022-04-24Hello. I’d like to share with you my experience with this law firm. The primary attorney on my case, Zach Perecman, handled my case with true professionalism. The whole experience from the beginning to end was handled diligently and I couldn’t ask for more when it comes to having proper representation. I had an accident which resulted in a pile on fracture and it was unquestioned I would need attorneys with experience in this field to handle this case. I had no idea what to do or how to proceed with life when I suffered the injury. This law firm gave me the strength and motivation to keep at it until I was properly compensated for my accident. Linda Hirschfeld, who is one paralegal to work on my case , is great. Whenever I called and left messages Linda would get back to me that day sometimes even within 5 minutes which is amazing. Erica Colon, who was another attorney on my case, accompanied me to my deposition and made me feel extremely comfortable in her ability to do the job right and the confidence to get through the questions even as I was remembering the trauma I suffered. Nelson Hernandez, who is also a paralegal, accompanied me to the Doctors exam and gave me great insight on how to handle my current situation. Steven Dorfman, who is the managing attorney, was very blunt and transparent with me which was something I very much appreciated. I couldn’t ask for more when it comes to having great people working for you who care.
