Food tase good. Been ordering there for a while. Ordered fried rice, watse and jollof. Specially said l don’t want stew n meat yet all came with stew on top. I don’t eat meat yet l got meat on my rice. Just had meat pie n l chewed a plastic rubber. In person at the restaurant l respectfully asked for type of fish, got it but did not like the response at all. No disrespect but customer service need to really improve. Overall l recommend their food

The worst customer service ever. I never had any issues with the old staff. The ladies have always been very pleasant but the new server who is a guy is very rude and obnoxious. Called 30min before I got there to preorder my meal, he told me to call when Im 5min away. I called 5min before getting there to place my order, 3min before I got there he told me the order will not be ready for another 30min. I explained to him thats the reason why I called earlier. He was so rude and hanged up the phone on me. When I got there, he was still loud and rude to me.Again, any one in the food service industry should not be wearing an under shirt/ tank top in front of people. Sweating and serving food is completely unacceptable. Hopefully the business owner will address this issue asap before she looses all her clients and get inspector from the state.
If I could give zero stars for this place, I would. We placed an online order for $44.99 + tip for the driver. The amount of food they sent was really a ripoff. The container the okra soup came in was only half full as if someone had eaten some before being delivered to us. I am very close to reporting these people to the better business bureau. To the owners of this establishment, stop cheating people out their food and their money. You are not slick, we see what you are doing. Stand out as a restaurant that provides both quantity and quality thanks.
Food is overhyped. The kebab and meat pie were several days old. The customer service is very rude when u ask a question. Not going ever there again.
I love the food but the lady is sooooo rude Jesus. I don’t know why but every time I come there she always has an attitude, yells at me and doesn’t even try to listen to what I have to say. I don’t get it. Does she hate her job or something??? I see her act the same way towards many other customers and it’s sad. I don’t even feel comfortable going in there to get food because I expect unnecessary rudeness sheesh.
Horrible costumer service. Owner is not very welcoming and speaks to her costumers with an annoyed rude tone. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. I see that a lot of people are praising the quality of the food but honestly, it isn’t worth the disrespect to your dignity and as a costumer.
Horrible...food was nasty 🤮 went straight to the trash..the place was dirty..she used a dirty rag to clean around my plate...the chicken does not even look like chicken...that lady is so unprofessional...I’m just now reading the review, instead of reading and improving their service, they reply to the review by cursing customers... Good luck better hope the health inspector doesn’t surprise u guys one day.

Rude.Didn’t get to try the food and they don’t like to provide customer service. I don’t eat meat but wanted to see if they had veggies with maybe some fufu or jollof, the woman was rude and unhelpful and walked off while I was still asking questions. I came to spend money and walked out empty handed. I’ll spend my dollars elsewhere, no problem!

The waakye is good, kebab good- The owner or miserable man that clearly hates his job AWFUL! I feel so bad for the people that work with him, but I feel bad for him the most. Rude, rude guy who needs to be prayed for. Clearly, if he is the owner (in which I dont think would be him given his job duties) this was just an investment and not a passion. 2022-06-02They make the best fried rice and chicken of all the Ghana restaurants i’ve been to in the Bronx. Their other meals are great too, but that fried rice is always banging. No matter what time i get it, its like they just finished making it.

2022-06-03I branched out of my comfort zone on June 3, 2022 - had Jollof Rice with Fish. Tried this new spot. Being a new customer they needed to put their best foot forward. The rice was old and tasteless. The fish was dry. The only thing that was good was the boiled egg. Never again will I spend my money in this spot.

2021-06-22Thier food used to be good but I’ve ordered from them 6 consecutive times and it has been bad each time. I don’t know if they changed cooks or serve old food because it’s stale most of the time. Additionally when you order waakye they barely give you enough stew to finish off your food which leads you to throw majority of the food away. I’ve complained about this several times and when I order on Uber eats I make note of that but they ignore it every single time .

2021-06-18Food is good. BUT, you will end up throwing most of it away. This is because you will be given so little stew/sauce, that it will be enough for a few spoonfuls. You will have to eat the rest of the rice/yam/banku with no stew, make your own stew, or simply throw it away.Response: Others partake in the rice and banks too, but the takeout bowl is full of rice. 98% rice. The only stew in my food is what was attached to the fish and egg. Spinach stew. It was the same with the waakye. It was the same with the fried rice. Telling me others also partake in the stew is ridiculous.
