This center has been around for all of my life. Im 34, and I just started to play Ice Hockey. Ive always roller bladed, but it was time to take it up a notch and try ice. I played my first game recently, and it was a ton of fun. A friend of mine who used play here all the time recommended I get a few skating tips in. So I took the opportunity. Its very affordable. The instructor has years of experience and theyre exactly who I need to become a better skater. If you live in the area and youre interested, or if you just moved the area and you need a place to play Ice Hockey, this is it.
Nice old facility. Two rinks. Cold so bring a sweater. Large lobby and eating area. Concession stand. Pro shop and skate sharpening. Offer many learn to skate programs and advanced skills clinics for figure and hockey. Big summer hockey program.Ice is good. Viewing in one rink is in the balcony and stadium seating in the other rink. Plenty of parking in two lots. Vending machines are also available.
Been going here since I was a kid. Great place to go if your bored and want to get out of the house. $10 a person per session must register online

Is was a good rink and great lessons but they blocked off the rink with smooth ice to shceduled lessons and all the ice on the other rink was all cut through. This made this hard to skate especially for beginners
Great place, on my visit I saw pools for kids under 5 , another for kids and adults and a 13ft deep diving pool. Picnic area and make sure you have a town card for entry discount. On my next visits I want to explore more of the rinx. They have showers and restrooms. Nice staff and lifeguards.
It says wheelchairs can enter the building but I wanna see a wheel chair on ice with a lady trying to skate in it and because I have not seen it I give it a 4
Love visiting for public skating sessions. Everyone is courteous and well organized, even upon reopening during the pandemic- they always take precautions to ensure the safety of their guests. Also, I go here sometimes just to shop the pro store and pick up all my Long Island Hockey gear! So happy they carry that merchandise, Im a fan of the brand and love being able to rep Long Island when traveling around for hockey tournaments!
Its a great place to skate casually with your friends for fun. However, I will say that despite the free skating sessions being as short as they are to make time for the hockey teams to practice, you can still find people practicing hockey maneuvers on the far end of the rink during the free skating sessions. Theyll usually bring their own cones to practice their slalom with and wont let anyone within that area as if they own the rink. Its not fair for people to block other skaters during the free skating session by bringing a whole line of cones out that take up a large section of the rink. Something should be said about it personally. Once rules are put in place for this, i will give a five star rating.
My son plays hockey here. He also dose the Friday night open skates.
The facility itself is a little dated but still remarkable. The two full size rinks are beautiful and the ice is great for hockey. Always a good time here.

Great experience ice skating in Feb 2021.It was easy to purchase online and everything went smoothly when we arrived. The skating staff was attentive and helpful if assistance was needed on the ice.
Been coming here for years. Best place for a picnic and time in the pool. It has a kiddie pool, olympic pool and diving board. Want to check out the hockey games in the future.
Me, my family and our friends had such a great day. Definitely making ice skating here a regular thing. The staff is wonderful, very professional, the food is really good and the prices are great. If youre looking for a really good time with friends and family you have to try it out.
Very nice place with 3 pools which are all very diverse. They also have 2 ice rinks which give lessons. The one bad thing is that when I went they heard thunder which was 15 miles away and the pool was closed for over 2 hours. It was a nice experience but they could be a little lazy.
Mostly dedicated to special events now, finding open skate times is somewhat difficult and definitely involves some careful planning. Signs posted inside about open skating times were also incorrect and stated times that were not available for skating. Facilities in general are pretty well kept, but the organization is lacking. Probably not a bad place at all if youre on a team.
My son loved this place! Its worth every penny. Kids do different activities and my son wants to go back!! Great place and keeps kids away from technology!
I love the rink its very clean and the people are nice that work there. I would like it if the hockey people can have a different area then the figure skaters and public skating. Over all its a great place

The place is packed and the rentals do not properly fit.
Ive only been for the ice rink, but their free skate was not crowded at all, despite the fact that it was a weekend. Only complaint is that the ice wasnt smoothed prior to free skate and they were having hockey lessons on one end of the rink so it was blocked off.
The people at the Pro Shop were very helpful and knowledgeable when a group of 5 novice skaters went in to look at skates. They had great recommendations and did not try to upsell anything, and also called neighboring stores to see if they had a particular brand in stock.They have plenty of public skate hours at a reasonable price. If you plan on skating there regularly, ask about their skating pass.
Brought family ice skating they loved it ! Son wants to have his birthday their now only down side which probably was our fault was we went on a Friday night their was a lot of teens clowning around they were not being disrespectful just being teenagers. But overall great time!
I dont know who the lady is that answers the phone there, but when I called to set up an event, she immediately hung up. Then, when I tried to call back, blocked my phone number. Very unprofessional and pathetic, if you ask me.
Home to PAL hockey, Suffolk County HS Hockey and a good house league program. Two sheets of ice so they can accommodate hockey and the recreational skater at the same time.Public skates, skate rentals, hockey clinics are all cost effective compare to other rinks in the area.Great facility, clean and has a large area for people to sit and wait. Food court is decently price with a good selection of food. Vending machine and arcade games to keep the kids busy too.
Instructors are amazing with the kids, weekend open skate was very busy. Staff is friendly and accommodating. My 4 year old cant wait to play hockey here.

Great place to skate. They have lessons for every age group. Skate rental and a pro shop. They also have excellent Covid protocols.
I played hockey here & its always been a clean rink, very well lit & smooth ice cuts. The skate sharpener was very professional. My son now plays and the kids learn to skates are very helpful. The people who work here keep it very nice.
Had a lot of fun last night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Not strict with the masks which I loved.. Will be back soon
It was a very clean and spacious food took a bit long for just a simple order of mozzarella sticks and fries. Went towards the end of the day and it was empty. Had a really good time.
The people that work here are incredibly rude!! Wouldn’t come back just for that reason alone. Treat your customers with some respect if you value their business!
Nice place to come and have a little fun on fridays where you can rent skates and ice skate for a couple of hours. They staff is great respectful and polite they also have hockey games you can go watch or if you dont know how you can always take a class.
First time back after 20 years...Daughter went there for pre,school now My Granddaughter will attend...felt like time stood still 🙂
Nice rink. Food isnt terrible. Breakfast sandwiches before 11am on weekends are delicious. Public skate begins at 11 on weekends.

Nice place to come bust your butt on the ice. I can never get into a good pair of skates, they always kill my ankles. Id recommend bringing your own pair.

Nice facility that is run very well. The ice is good, the pro shop has a good selection of merchandise, and the food concession stand has a variety of food choices.
My son plays hockey there, nice rink .they also have food court there , if the hockey game is not real late its open to a certain time only for coffee pretzels Etc

Went for the free skate, its the same old skating in circles situation that its always been. Decent for the kiddies, not too expensive. Wear a coat and gloves.

I went there for a hockey game between my school and my girlfriends. Pretty good game and the rink seemed well maintained. The parking was a little weird though.

Came here for the first time with my family and the experience was overall pleasant, very relaxing time and did not get overly packed with lots of folks, pool is clean establishment overall is also clean, lifeguards are also very observant of the swimmers. Overall great experience!

2021-12-31I just celebrated my daughters 6th birthday here and it was a big hit! With not only the kids but the parents too! The staff was amazing and helped out tremendously. They were very accommodating and made sure my daughters day was extra special. I would recommend this place to anyone. I have also done clinics, puck shoots, and lunch time hockey here and always had a good time. There ice is well kept and the facility is always clean

2019-03-30Excellent rink nestled in the middle of park.Youth hockey program is great for your young beginner and intermediate players, a fun and well trained staff for the summer camps, and private instruction for Hockey and for Figure skating. This place is a treasure!!!

2022-02-04If you were wearing a mask, you were the minority despite it stating on the website and signs within the building that masks are required. I’m fact, the staff was telling people when they walked in that they were optional. I have pictures and fully intend to bring this matter to highest attention possible with pictures. I spoke to someone in the office twice and not one thing was done.

2022-02-08Security would not allow kids to buy tickets to tonight’s hockey game who were from schools that were not from St. Anthony’s High School. Only St. Anthony’s HS kids were allowed to buy the remaining 90 tickets. Not only that but security were rude and condescending to good respectful kids. Shameful to have people like that treating our kids who were there to support their school so poorly.

2022-02-27So disappointing! I brought my 3 grandchdren. Paid over 60 dollars. Absurdly no help with new skaters...no little penguins etc. The ice was very choppy. I will not return!
