I would recommend it highly for everyone to get a pizza for themselves. When you buy a pie they make it to perfection with the bottom just right and source is very delicious as well as everything else that goes to the pizza. Many places for me like that Italian flavor in the sauce or the bottom crust and soft and it loses and the excitement of eating a well-made Italian pizza.

I cant get enough of this place. I get takeout a minimum of once a week. The best Greek salad Ive had anywhere. They also make and amazing Greek Salad Pizza, white pizza, and cauliflower crust pizza is amazing. The staff is friendly and take good care of us whenever we stop in. Thank you! 😊
The pizza here is bomb. I normally get the buffalo pizza here because its to die for but the other slices they are great too. Its in a great location and the atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. During the cooler months its great to eat outside by the creek.

The food is REALLY GOOD. I thought that the price was little high, but the slice 🍕 are big and filling. The inside is warm and cozy. They have outdoor seating and its on the River side. Large parking lot. Brick oven, great taste, out door seating, water view. A hit. Home Run.

This place offers amazing pizza. My mom, aunt and I visited here after a long day of being out and about, and this pizza was the best pizza I had while on Long Island. We ordered a pizza with roasted-red-peppers and meatballs, but they have many different toppings, like Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, etc. 10/10 recommend to anyone who is heading out to Riverhead.
Linguine and clam sauce: I asked that the clams not be over cooked so they are not tough and rubbery. The clams were tough and chewy served with bland watery sauce. 1st and last time customer.
Everything was alright aside from the sauce it tasted like it came from a jar. Sauce was like frozen pizza sauce.
One of thee best outdoor seating eateries I know hands Down...clean,crisp air,breezes..and that stream is amazing..theres ducks..and now chickens..which You do not feed..theres enough natural foods for them to eat( bugs galore,grasses,weeds n such) people food is not healthy for them and can cause them to choke,also very salty.The foods Excellent..huge pizza..very filling..two slices is like pie so be warned!!! Wow!! great pizza!! another locals favorite and I can see and taste why! The pizza, calzones, salads, wings and desserts are top quality, fresh, huge, and everyone just knew each other but it didnt make me the traveler feel like I didnt belong. You just end up fitting right in. I really enjoyed my dinner there. Good prices too. I definately had more food than I bargained for!
I drove here from Florida just to get this pizza again. The grandma slice is the best Ive ever had
I used to love coming here. I love the ambiance and the pizza is normally absolutely amazing. But lately their Sicilian slice is undercooked. And the quality of pizza used to be great but not lately. And also they charge for the marinara sauce even when you order garlic knots to eat it with. I thought that was ridiculous!

Had the opportunity today to try this place out. Food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. For outdoor eating, the grounds was well maintained. I didnt mind the chickens walking around, it was a nice natural farm feeling without the typical farm smell. There was also indoor dining available, a little bit cramp for me but the seating options were there.
Always good food at The Roadhouse, a local pizza place with indoor seating & outdoor tables on the river.My personal favorite are the meatballs, on a hero with parmigiano or just as a side dish. My husband loves the pizza. Always an enjoyable experience.
Waited 45 minutes for pizza, chicken bites and a wedge salad. Got 2 pieces of cold pizza as they hand those to you right away then leave you standing there waiting on the rest. Enjoy my free money as I left without chicken or salad. Horrible!!!!! Please give your great location up to a worthy place.

Food was excellent! I had chicken penne with vodka Sauce, and Italian chef salad! Outdoor seating was a beautiful environment! The water and ducks made a beautiful sunny day even better! The ladies in the front were very kind and helpful! Will definitely be back!!!

The pizza from here has an amazing taste, especially the sauce! However, last time we ate pizza from here at a party, the cheese slid off the entire pizza. We gave it another chance today and the dough was underdone and too soft and chewy. We would love to come back here because the flavor of the pizza is excellent but I just wish it was cooked better.

One of my favorite go to places to eat when in Riverhead. Always delicious, consistently good food. That we brought our dog and ate outside by the river. We were treated to ducks and chickens! Great place to take the kids.
Omg... found this place after shopping at the outlets. We wanted to dine outside and was SO happy we stopped here. Food and service were great, but dining by the river was just awesome. LOVED watching the ducks and also loved that they had duck food for them. They do not bother you or beg while youre eating because they have their own food that they seem to enjoy. They come in a flock to go eat and then go back to the river. Really cute and enjoyable to dine beside them today.

The pizza was great. As was the Specialty Slices. Shrimp Parmigiano with Linguine was delicious. Slices of assorted pies were enjoyed by all.Staff was friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed.

I stopped here cuz of the brick oven sign. The grandma pie looked freshest, so I tried it. Something about it reminded me of frozen pizza. Like something you would get at a roller rink. I finished it, its not THAT bad, but I wont go back. Maybe the regular slice is better. The fountain root beer made me happy!!
Great pizza and the best seating area by the river
Can’t rave enough about this place! Food is absolutely delicious. Their Big Mac pizza is by far the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Their penne alla vodka with chicken pasta is the best pasta I’ve ever had! Outside seating has breathtaking views. The owner and staff are so friendly and go above and beyond!
Great takeout salad! Called in advance last night to pick up a large greek salad with grilled chicken. It was so delicious and perfect. Dressing on the side...the staff is friendly, and the outdoor tables are still set up. If you travel with a blanket in your car, its super cute out back with the riverfront...Totally recommend!

Ordered a thin crust pizza with usual toppings. It was so greasy that it left grease marks on the car seat, kitchen counter and the table. And salad had more cheese than lettuce. Way too salty. Ugh.
Substantial portions. Each of us took food home. Reasonable prices and good service. Lots of gluten free options but it was just OK and dining area is cramped.
Grandma pizza and chicken francais are our usual order. Outdoor dining by the Peconic with our dog was refreshing and peaceful. The staff is ALWAYS friendly.
A pie is huge and affordable. The crust is perfect size, not too thin or too thick. Not much dining room but still very warm and cozy. Great service and all staffs are extremely friendly. I had buffalo chicken slide and hawaiian slide, both were delicious. Highly recommend

Terrible customer service. Placed an order for delivery and they left the food in the wrong house. Called them after waiting 2 hours for my food and the lady on the phone gave me an attitude stating that it wasn’t their fault that the food was delivered to the wrong house. Never apologized for the inconvenience and instead just hung up the phone

Portobello mushroom with caramelized onions is amazing! Great for the vegetarians and super unique. The rare case I am ever out east, I make a point to stop at this place and grab that slice.

Tonight was my second time dining here. My wife had raved about this place in the past. So, when I wasn’t thrilled with the pizza during my first experience, I have her the benefit of the doubt and tried Roadhouse once more. I ordered the Big Mac slice and she ordered a buffalo chicken slice. The Big Mac was tasteless. I struggled to eat it. My wife found an eyelash in her slice. The staff was courteous and the place was clean, but the food was terrible.
Favorite pizza place on the east end. Awesome selections and specialty slices, great heros and delicious dessert! Best part is the outdoor seating on the creek/pond. Ducks a plenty, waddling between picnic tables and splashing in the water. Beautiful and perfect for an evening dinner after a busy day!
Excellent pizza + wonderful people = great experience! Why should you go? Their pizza is classic NY - as good as it gets...Their outside dining area on the river is awesome. What is exceptional is that their employees are very nice and accommodating. All in all a great experience!
Had a great grilled chicken salad but chicken wasn’t grilled it was cold chicken sliced and added to pre made salad (salad was plentiful though) and ordered a meatball parm hero , meatballs where basically cold and cheese was warm hero bread was nice. Had slices previously there and you can’t even pick up slices as they just flop down to plate . Nice back outdoor eating area and dog friendly on river. Didn’t care for meatballs they reminded me of a chicken meatball recipe .
We’ve been eating at The Roadhouse for many years. Always great food and delicious pizza.Which is why we were disappointed when we picked up a simple cheese pizza earlier today.The crust was dry and tasteless and the cheese pizza hardly had any cheese on it. It wasn’t theusual crispy flavorful pie we have come to love.Would have returned it if we didn’t live over 10 miles away.Has the recipe changed? Maybe an off day.

What a great place! The Pizza was delicious! The clams casino slice was amazing. We were going to the Aquarium and just looked up a few places around the area and picked this one based on good reviews and would totally recommend it! Staff was super friendly and they have beautiful outdoor seating in front of a lake. It was so pretty outside we whipped out our camera and had a photo shoot with our kids! Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

Roadhouse Pizza makes the very best pizza on this end of Long Island. We come here often for their pizzas: always fresh and wonderfully delicious! Their dinners are delicious and they offer salad and bread and butter with the meal. The staff is personable and ready to make your eating experience a positive one.
I have to say by far the worst food i have ever had in my life, being Italian, coming from family owned Italian restaurants, how one messes up pizza and chicken park is unheard of, 2 buffalo chicken slices, 1 slice, a plate of chicken parm no sides and 4 drinks 41 dollars. I would of stopped at McDonald’s or starved. I do not recommend this place at all sorry.

Been to Roadhouse Pizza dozens of times over the years. I go there less frequently, not because its not as good (it did lose a little quality for a while there), but because its popularity has hurt it. Over the years Ive seen tourists stop and take up dozens of tables, some bring their own food to add to the pizza they order, and theyre loud and allow their kids to run around. Its a serene location overlooking the river. Do we need to shout? Outside of high season, its a great place to grab a slice or two and enjoy the lazy river flowing by and hope the bully geese and swans leave you alone.
Great food ! Their pizza is really delicious! I’ve gotten an amazing Caesar salad there, I got the small and it was huge, they give you a great amount for your dollar! They have a nice outdoor area along the peconic. Would highly recommend for a quick bite!

Alright. First off, Im not sure what the complimentary appetizer is??? It looks like a mystery macaroni, vegetable? I just dont know. Anyway. The actual food is very good. I have never had their steak, but I am told they are delicious. I enjoyed my Caesar Salad w/Chicken, ( more chicken would have made it perfect!). We had $5 Wartermelon Margaritas, and they were SO good!!! My only suggestion for improvement would be for the complimentary appetizer. Instead of the mystery macaroni thing, a nice, small, homemade, bread loaf or rolls with butter, would be nice. 🤗
The 5 veggie pizza is the best! The meatball pizza was just as great. Also tried the German rice pudding which was equally as good. Will definitely eat there again before I go home to Atlanta. Staff very friendly.

Excellent pizza typical of the best NY City pizzeria. There is also an outside picnic table area at the edge of the Peconic River. You can enjoy watching the geese and ducks walking around the tables. But do not feed the wildlife.
This has been my go to pizza place for years. They make a lot of really good specialty slices, but unlike some other pizza places, their regular pizza is very good too. The owners are helpful as well. When I had a question about their hot wings, the owner came out and talked about the mixture they use to coat the wings.
Large pie was really large. Nice crust. Overall it was a good pie. Smallish inside and two levels. Outside seating on the river during warmer months. Kids love it outside. Nice informal place to eat after a day of shopping.
Weve been coming here for many years...never again! What a ripoff today...quarts of bisque...expensive enough..were not filled!! When we got home and saw this..we called. The girl was quite rude and quite the liar! We travel almost 45 minutes to come there...never again! You just lost some of your best customers!! Unreal!

Good luck finding a better pizza anywhere! Love eating here and do so regularly. Even yesterday, Valentines Day, I ordered my pizza. I was an hour late picking it up, which means I cooled but, even at that rate they spank their competition. Youd seriously be hard pressed to find a better pie, anywhere in NY, if not the country.

Amazing specialty slices, especially the must-try stuffed veggie slice. There are many more great slices, including the shrimp parmigiana, Greek salad, and lasagna slices, and the house dressing is also the best. Really nice owner and staff always make you feel welcome.
Pizza always fabulous. My husband wanted a sandwich that was not on the menu and the owner accommodated him.the outside seating area was beautiful.I will continue to go there.
The pizza here was incredible!! We ordered the roadhouse special, which allows up to 5 toppings—definitely the best value, and a white pizza with broccoli. They don’t skimp on the toppings. It’s a little pricey to me, but it’s the best pizza I’ve had from Riverhead to Greenport in at least ten years.
The place has the best pizza. I have tried several different kinds and havent been disappointed with any. Will definitely be taking my family here when they come visit from Florida.

Ive been coming here for about 14 or 15 years now. Its the best pizza in the area. The deep dish Buffalo is amazing, the Parm Heros are served on Portuguese bread which means theyre really crispy, dense, much different and better than normal Italian bread. Its impossible for a bad pizza place to stay in business on Long Island, but among your choices of great pizza we have here on the Island, the Roadhouse should be on the top of the list.

My mother in law has a serious gluten allergy and she got very sick eating the gluten free pizza here because they prepare the gf pizza in the same place they prepare the regular pizza. If you are going to have gluten free items please be aware that contamination is real and people who have celiac disease or a gluten allergy can get VERY sick from it!!
One of the best pizza stores Ive ever been to. There is an outdoor sitting option which has a beautiful river front sitting area along with some wild life to boost the serenity. The pizza is great with very fresh ingredients and very nice staff!

Really good brick oven pizza. Nice outdoor area near the river to enjoy your meal. I wasnt too much of a fan of their chicken pasta. The chicken was a slightly rubbery. I reccomend the rice pudding and good ole brick oven pizza.

Roadhouse has the best regular pizza on the east end. They also have salads, subs and Italian dishes. All are very tasty. Its a super convenient place to stop if you need a break from shopping, as its only a few minutes drive from the outlets. Lots of parking and a nice riverfront location if youd like to dine al fresco.(Note: if youre looking for more fancy artisan pizza and food then try Grana in Jamesport).
A classic Riverhead experience. Even th ducks nearby are cool. Pizza is filling and tasty.

What a shame I used to really love this place but lately dont know. Pizza is good last night got the gorgonzola salad and egg plant and my friend got same salad and chicken parmigiana . Didnt really want to give them a try because their sales have been really bad lately. But decided to give another try. Not good. The salad again was all stems and no dressing which usually has the house dressing. Chicken cutlet was way over cooked and was like cardboard. And eggplant was the same and no taste very disappointed.
Very good pizzas, quaint, with outdoor seating / dining available right along side the Peconic River. Today we saw an interesting mix of wildlife: the ever present geese, along with ducks, mallards, shrews, a beaver, and a cat meanering about, as various birds and a large hawk flew overhead. Friendly staff, informal, relaxed dining, and moderate prices. Recommended.

The Roadhouse is an awesome spot for lunch in Riverhead. They have so many varieties of pizzas, rolls, calzones, and heros. Friendly service every time, comfortable environment for friends or families. Beautiful waterfront view of the River Peconic definitely worth checking out before or after your meal. I have brought a bunch of people here and nobody has been disappointed. Wish they would open a second location in Mastic :)Thanks Roadhouse!

Unfortunately while this pizza was delicious, it is not safe for celiacs. They filled me with hope when they said they used a separate pan and separate sauce and separate cheese because they said they understood it was a serious allergy type thing but I tested it with the Nima sensor and it came back positive for gluten. I ate one slice while waiting for the results since i trusted them but i will probably be sick later now. Not sure if the issue is cross contamination, contaminated pizza cutter or what. I cannot recommend this restaurant for celiacs.
If you are anywhere near this pizza place, stop in now. Get any of their special slices. The regulars are good, but their incredibly different and random special slices are where this place shines. They also have a fantastic view and outdoor eating area.

Best and most creative pizza on the island. Everything from Bacon Cheeseburger pizza to Greek Feta Salad Pizza, this place has it all. Creekfront picnic-style dining and you see lots of cool birds and butterflies. Hidden gem of the area.

Always excellent and always consistent, been going there for many years when were in Riverhead and have NEVER gotten a bad slice of pizza. Eggplant parm slice is one of our favorites.
Used to be my favorite pizza place in Riverhead. The last few times Ive been here the food is disgusting. I couldnt even finish my slice today. They have cheaper out on the quality. Not worth the money. Will find another pizza place in town. Really upset at the downgrade in food.
We love roadhouse! Its right on a beautiful stream with outdoor picnic tables to eat streamside and if its too cold its cozy inside with 2 large screen tvs to watch the news as you eat. The food is very good, the pizza crust is so thin and crispy and my son raves about the calzones. After lunch or dinner we always go across the street for some snowflake ice cream, another favorite!
Im not from NY so dont expect me to homer-dome NY pizza, but Roadhouse in Riverhead is the best pizza Ive ever had in my life. Anytime Ive driven 2 hours just for lunch there. Nice place, friendly staff, little picnic benches by a babbling brook out back and absolutely amazing pizzas for any taste.
Decided to try since we were in the Riverhead area. Good pizza at a decent price. But not as hot as it could be. I would have like to tried one of the pasta dishes. But to costly to experiment.
Let me start off by saying I love the pizza and have been coming here every time I come to the outlet to shop.However, today I experienced what it is to be treated as a second class citizen.My party of 4 consisted of a handicap and an 8 1/2 month pregnant woman.Place was crowded saw an empty table and the pregnant woman decided to sit, baby being due in 2 weeks. While we are placing our order. Another family came in and enquired about a table from another server, without placing an order.That server in turn told our server to tell the pregnant lady to move so that this other party could sit.This other party sat, I mean no compunction about having the pregnant lady move by the staff.So now we are all standing around waiting for a table. We saw an available table and decided to go sit there. While we went to that table, the previous family decided they no longer wanted the earlier table and moved into this one.Which in turn placed us back to the original table.I’m highly disappointed by the staff and this place as a business. Not sure how they were brought up but pregnant women and special needs comes first everywhere in the world. Or maybe because we are of a colored race played a part???Anyway not ever returning.Wish I could have given a negative 0 star instead.
Some of the best pizza I have ever had, the food is a little expensive but honestly its worth it.
Delicious pizza and good prices. I got a buffalo chicken slice and couldnt finish it. Make sure to bring your appetite.

Hands down wost pizza ive ever had. I ordered one pizza and two salads through the phone. I called ahead of time and told them to have my pizza ready. Not only was my pizza not ready when i got there but when i was on my way home there was puddles of grease leaking out of the box. When i looked inside the pizza was soggy and there was no sence in eating it. I honestly wish i could instert pictures of the pizza in here it looks like throw up in a soaked box. The box was ripping. I payed 50 dollars for nothing but a greased car. Thanks roadhouse.!
Quick, courteous service even though the place is slammed with the lunchtime crowd. Slices are just straight chronic. Solid Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken pies. Ill be returning here, to the chagrin of my waistline, frequently when Im near Riverhead.
A little bit more expensive then I am use to (in Brooklyn), but sooo much better. More so, slices are large enough for 1 to fill a mid size guy. Very nice!

Nice place to eat outdoors. Owner is nice and friendly. But the food is very inconsistent. Some days, the food is great and some days the food is terrible. 3 stars due to the inconsistency.
Good food, new outdoor tables that are easier to sanitize a great plus, but something needs to be done about the bugs that enjoy eating you as much as you enjoy eating RoadHouse food.

Good pizza, interesting varities and very nice people. During the season I like to sit outdoors in the backyard. It gets very busy during lunch so plan your visit accordingly.

Roadhouse is the first place we eat when arriving in area and we pick up sandwiches on the way to the airport upon leaving. Food good and reasonable especially on Monday and Tuesdays. Too crowded on weekends...

Pizza was mediocre and took much longer than expected to come out. Toppings were good but the crust really wasn’t anything special. Probably won’t be back.

Just tried to have a chicken cutlet parm. hero for lunch. Chicken was full of grizzle, not much sauce and bread was hard. Hero was also tiny not that it mattered unedible and was thrown out. Waste of money and a lunch time.

2022-03-02Went in and ordered a chef salad. No cheese and no olives. It was the large. I know prices of things are higher now, but it was $19.75. It was good but not $19.75 worth of good. BTW who puts oranges in a chef salad?? And they gave me olives because no one pays attention to customers needs and wants anymore.

2021-09-01Nice outdoor space by the river. Portions are very generous. Service is fast and efficient but servers can be a little gruff. Can get very busy but the line moves quickly. Know what you want as soon as you step up to the counter. Place and pay for order. Server will give you a little number card to place on your table. They will go out back to give you your food. Food is solid.

2021-07-19Probably the best buffalo chicken slice I’ve ever had. We’ve been coming for years and have never had a bad experience. This was our first time trying the Greek salad slice as well as the vodka slice.Not a huge fan of the vodka, but the buffalo chicken and the salad slices were amazing. I also recommend the white pie! Yum!!

2021-06-24Pizza and pasta! Haven’t had a bad experience ordering from restaurants in a while, surprised to find a pretty rude person taking our order today. They charge a credit card fee here and expected you to be reading that note written down on the table on the side. They also charge different prices compared to what you see on the menu, I ordered a large 12 piece Buffalo wings and they charged 2x the 6 piece price, when I asked about the difference, the lady said chicken prices went up so they no longer do orders of 12. Not cool and the prices were misleading. It’s not much but her attitude was so bad it ruined the experience. The pizza was good, shrimp scampi spaghetti was yummy too. Buffalo wings were fried wings with sauce on the side. Buffalo bites were pretty bad and skippable (they also messed up our order the first time). Outdoor seating was pretty nice but I didn’t really enjoy my experience eating from here. One star for the experience 3.5 stars for the food, averaging out to 2 stars.

2021-07-11Remember when you were a kid watching cartoons, and the pizza always looked amazing? The cheese was practically melted and oozing to perfection and you probably wondered to yourself What I wouldnt give to have a slice like that in real lifeWell, now you can. The pies here are amazing. Outdoor seating is well spaced out in the back.There are also chickens that roam free and are very well kept. Even if you are someone who hates pizza and good food, at least visit for the friendly chickens.

2022-05-17Food is always good and usually accurate but I never order anything too complex. I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap with a side of extra dressing. I got my extra dressing:) but it was missing the chicken….. very disappointing moving forward, I know to check my order before I leave.

2022-06-04We went as a family. All ordered slices. After the food came out there was we cut 2 slices (bacon cheese buger and bbq chicken pizza) to try each. There was a 3in black hair in the center of the cheeseburger pizza. It happens no big deal. Grossed out we took it back in and ask for 2 calzones. The owner brought them out making sure that we knew that we needed to pay the difference. I went inside and was ask to take my accent and go somewhere else. NO PROBLEM As soon as I finish getting the power grid working on long Island as I do my job and fulfill my obligations. I am gone and there is not enough money for me to come back to such a disrespectful place 😒.
