Called and was told they would take one item I had. Man the there told me why I was dropping off items. Told him I spoke to a very nice lady. He would not accept the one item as it was not assembled even though I was told no problem. Very rude asked about a couch told me if it was damaged he would not accept it.

I have found as long as youre not in a hurry, you can always find great deals on clothing. It has always been picked up, considering that a lot of the patrons allow the clothing to constantly fall off the hangers without picking them up. I also have to say, this Salvation Army has very friendly employees. 😊 Cant say that for all of them!

People donate but in reality the majority of it does not hit the stores. It is shredded and discarded. Not moved to clothe those in other poor countries. Simply thrown in the trash and burned. They are overpriced and you need to watch for bringing roaches and bedbugs into your home.

I have been going here for years and recently they have been getting pretty crazy with their pricing. There was an old sewing machine in rough shape in there today with a $700 price tag. Pretty crazy even for a mint condition old Singer...hopefully pricing gets corrected so things actually sell.
