Nothing bad. I went there for 5 below and TJ Maxx. Since they didnt have anything that was a must have at either store, I dont need to go there often and I can get to those stores elsewhere. Especially since it is Out Of The Way for me. Also its a few days since the snow storm last week and River Plaza didnt do a good job of snow removal. The area was very dirty and slushy (yuck).
Its a decent sized mall for the 5 boroughs. The kind one usually has to go to Queens or Brooklyn to find. Very accessible by subway.
My only issue is its way to crowded... but always find what I want in stock...
I went to marshalls, very clean and super organizerat least at the time i went around 12.30pm, years ago that places was mess, if it is like that every day is fine to shop here, fast checkout too as i said around this time and on a tuesday, have a good time shopping
I visited 🎯 Target in River Plaza.they didnt have anything that was supposed to be on sale or otherwise. Quite often I was told to order it on line. 😳 Wow. Maybe Ill do so and not go back to that particular Target.

As usual every time I go there, doesnt matter the day of the week or time of day, most items are out of stock, not even a substitute can be found.....for example salt (all gone).
Everything I needed was available. The grocery area is still unorganized and the fresh food area is practically empty.
Most of the time they have what youre looking for but get ready for long lines and crowded aisles.
A place for quick shopping..some sales. Off street parking. Cab drivers available if you dont drive.
This was my first visit to River Plaza, I stopped in Marshalls to make a purchase but I didnt go into any other stores. The have an Applebees, Target and some other stores are there but I only went in Marshalls. It was ok, it was crowded but the line moved kind of quickly so I guess if youre in that area you can visit the stores and see if you like them.

This target needs some help. It is always clean and tidy which is great but some sections/aisles need help like the toddlers for boys section. The selection of clothes for boys are limited and spread out. I can always find jeans but never a top in my son size. Sometimes there are 3ts in the baby section and I dont mean that customers put them there.Next the $1 ($1 -$5) section is very minimal and very small, not much product choices to choose from. Need more variety .Then there is the craft section which is always empty or low on stock. There few things I do find are expensive, ugly or not of use. Again needs more product variety.

The Target was well stocked I found everything I needed which I was happy about I like the Target but I dont like the atmosphere when you come out of the Target unfortunately so I prefer not to use this target unless I have too

I go for the Target store that seems as large as a football field and has everything. I just moved so this is becoming a frequent destination.
This target store is nice and clean. It definitely gets extremely crowded in the afternoon/evening/weekend. Best time to visit is during morning hours. It is fully stocked in the am but by the time the evening hours comes it is not. Resonable prices overall.
Target is my main goal when I come here you have very few stores could use more but target I always get what I came for and more. Lines are long sometimes to long but it moves fast. Clean and presentable most of the workers are friendly and helpful. Good variety of things and grocery items. Come early and you have a good variety of cab drivers if you need them

I am Mr. alex carrasco. I do not get fine, guides at target. Elderly kid Persian time share I asked , for air purifier . They ! ....did not know. I asked Sahe-kid named Christian for large shopping bag. They ! ... did not know. Barcero-kid-lady have porter cleaning cart. I asked for garbage bag for my purchased air purifier. Barcero-kid-lady were better representative for Target. I have left target with garbage bag in it my purchased air purifier.
Easy to access all fast roads only issue is parking 🅿

This trip I past the store then decided to go in. I didnt look crowded, but the there was a line to check out. I didnt find what I was looking for, so I got other things instead. Some of the areas needed refilling. The stores floor was clear. There were people helping with the lines to check out.
Target TM with a dora explorer haircut at self checkout couldnt do the one price match of my many items because she said it was too busy, even tho she was chatting it up less than 5 feet away.

Went to Target for the first time here and it was crowded but not overwhelming. The parking is easy just a lot of traffic in and out.Overall, I liked it there.
Great place to eat or walk around and shop. So theres Marshalls always has great sales . For everyone mother to grandchildren name brand items as wells. Really great prices for shoes boots clothes and hous items.

This is my main Target, it is always well stocked, can get crowded sometimes but lines still go quick, they have a food section which is also convenient, some of the staff is knowledgeable on their products and where things are at. What i like best is the hot dog guy outside in the front, his chicken shish kebobs are awesome with hot sauce and bbq sauce. The hot dogs are good too.
I ride in the carts, Im glad they are always charger
This place is huge, not much different from other targets but I will say their renovations are very nice. You can find anything you need here but please go early because after 12pm this place turns into yankee stadium especially on weekends ( new sale)
My first time to Target. Nice area not as congested. I have to come back to explore other stores during the week.
Target always has what I need. No long lines and my so had a nice pizza. although because of covid-19 you cannot dine in anywhere. It makes me not want to go shopping.

I love the Target the make me feel like shopping there and visiting just to see whats new.
Applebee is always been a delight for me. food is really good and the service is good and your food comes back pretty much at a reasonable time almost right away but be very careful with the spinach and cheese its very very very hot I myself got burnt on my chin because I just couldnt wait to diggin it and I got burnt the cheese fell on my chin and I burnt my chin other than that I love it and I recommend it to all
Crowded, no social distancing.The staff do their best to remind people to wear their masks, but I didnt see anyone enforce the social distancing, and the self check out machines are not socially distant either. Everyone was standing in close proximity.A suggestion seen in other places that have self check out is to skip one of the machines so that customers have more space between them, i.e. available/ not available/ available, etc...

Needs better lighting in the night time, clean up a little bit the walls and floors and make it looks better that’s all other than that great staff, good stores, and restaurants👏🏽
Free parking. No lines. Cashier lines were organized & fast. Even customer service bc after purchasing the wrong thing I had to exchange it all in the same visit.They were in stock of majority of the things. But some brands were not. I paid $20 for some generic toilet paper. I wanted Scott. They didnt have. I also went for some beads that enhance the scent of your clothes when washing. They had none at all. They did have bleach and disinfectant sprays.The place was not packed.Overall it was good.
Overall this location would have everything you need but I over heard employees speak about back door deals regarding the ps5s and the Dominicans outside are always harassing customers who walk in and out by saying taxi? Taxi?. They also play really loud music out of there cars infromt if the entrance. Its rude and just annoying

One of my favorites when I visit NYC.The target store and Starbucks have everything I need to have a nice shopping experience.
Everything was neat and clean. Just did not have the sizes in the clothing area but since it is back to school I could only imagine how quickly everything went.
Sidewalks are always crowded, I like to come here but its always in and out and when I know what Im getting. If youre not a crowd person and you are coming to the area on a weekend or late in the day, expect to see a lot of people
Great place to shop. Prices are lower than my neighborhood supermarket. The cashier named Yessina was the best! Ill be shopping at Target soon.
I was looking for something for my nieces birthday and it wasnt on the shelf. The worker went out of his way to go on the truck and get it for me.. Thats customer service!

Love this Target however I found it hard to look for items ..wasnt really able to find baby boy clothes everything was pretty much 6-9 months baby bottles were hard to find as a single item 😩...the cashier rang all my stuff without me noticing and idk how I ended up with a 400 receipt 🤦🏻♀️ like how the place looks however in parts is too crowded and is hard to find things

I loved the walk, but couldnt buy anything most of the shelves were empty, or they didnt have the sizes i needed. I was very disappointed. Prices are ridiculous (sky high) and very long lines to pay.

So this target is pretty popular being that its on 225th street so its always packed not in a bad way but in a good way, Im just used to going to the exterior Mall target.
The Target is soo big. It had everything I needed... Also use the Target app to scan Bar Codes to see the price in real time.

It has a nice selection of convenience stores and restaurants although the selection is not the best. They have to restock faster and be more attentive. Overall its a good place to do a quick shop at really nice prices. The service is nice and its easy to go there by public transportation. To be honest, the best thing there is Applebees, and well, I like to go to Target, but it needs to be more organized and clean, first Target Store I went that was this deficient and unorganized. They had a lot of expired products, specially in the dairy area... Be sure to check before buying.

Went to Foot Locker to pick up some Kyries that Dyckman Foot Locker, ordered for me and boom,. Went and got my joints hop skip and a jump. No problema. Good looking to The wonderful and cutie 🥧 from Dyckman Foot Locker with the Blue hair. She was on her job. Word up. Sharp. ✊🏽👍🏽
Displays are always on point. Its always organized no matter how packed it is in there. However, its overcrowded, even on weekdays.The store is beautiful itself but the people there are...trash. Some associates speak basic english but cannot hold a conversation whatsoever. They have nasty attitudes most of the time. The type of people that shop in this particular location are extremely ghetto and make the entire experience so irritating that you just want to drop your stuff and leave.Overall I love target, I love the location. Just not the people.
I shopped in Target. I like how they remodeled the entire store including the new improved food court. I was also able to buy online and pickup in store. Store is clean and stocked. I was looking at luggage and I had to carry it over to a scanner several feet away to check the price Because the prices on the shelves didnt match the item and the only way to know the real price was to scan them. They also need to have scanners in every department. The dollar spot in the front of the store is good especially for teachers looking for classroom incentives or arts and crafts...

Its always fun shopping at Taeget. However, I detest congestion , and that area is exactly that. If you can get past that, its fine. Finding a clerk is another story. They need to train their employees to be more knowledgable and willing to help. Better training and a better wage would help.

River Plaza is a delightful shopping mall. With well stocked stores. The Target there is lovely. They sell fresh cut flowers.

I was raised around River Plaza. I remember when Target was being build and how excited I was! Gamestop used to be there, Chase, etc. In spite of the changes, I enjoy shopping there.

Curbside pickup from Target was executed with quick precision. the stores made good about enforcing masks and distancing and, disinfecting interiors.
We went to the Target here only. It was very busy but we didnt have to wait too long to check out. Also, things were well stocked, so we didnt have trouble finding what we were looking for. The 1 train 225st street stop is just a block away, so this is the most accessible Target for anyone along the 1 line uptown.

On this day, I went there specifically to get plants, because I rather see it first hand than buy online , but they did not have a lot of varieties. I ended up purchasing online.Usually I use this store as my pick up location after online purchases; because home deliveries takes more than 4 days; even when I get a notification that my order is ready, I still go to the store and end up waiting for them to go to the shelf and get the item. I honestly expected the items to be packed ready to pick up.

They are pretty cheap and have deals on the app. They also have everything from clothing to bananas. This place also isnt too strict. If your back hurts or you dont feel well they will give you an electric chair. Or in my case when they were dead my partner pushed the cart and I rode on my skateboard without the workers saying anything. If you dont seem like youre being disruptive or hurting anyone they will leave you alone. Workers are pretty cool. They all look hard working also.
Its an okay small strip mall. I dont shop any stores other than the Target and Marshalls but as far as Im concerned its the worst Target Ive ever been in. I shop there because its close to my home

A lot of great places to visit but very small and not enough parking on the lower level for all of the different restaurants and stores. Therefore, tends to get very congested with cars.
Finally got the masks in. great,but still no organic cotton facial pads.

Staff very very helpful, went in the back and got us an item that wasnt on the shelf. Went out of their way, to get what we needed. Also returned an item with no problem, we had a reciept. An altogether great experience. Recommend this site to all, plenty of selection in mens, womens and kids clothes, outstanding electronic department, and reasonable fresh frozen food and snack prices.
I live around here so its convenient to have Target and an Applebees all in the same spot. Plus on the other side, theres another plaza with Forever 21, Bobs furniture, and much more.
I dont know whats going on. But I really dont like to go to the mall and I like most but this one is something weird that I can be around that area. I have a bad experience when I was pregnant 13 years ago, but I dont know if its that because even at that time, I really dont like that area my area small like the people Troublemaker, but I really dont enjoy going to that place.

The Loitering at Target front door is quite annoying. There is a No Loiter sign but if you dont enforce it; what good is the sign. Cabbies should wait for customers at curb site, not in the store or in the way of shoppers trying to exit.

Everything was great, we went into target huge lines however; it did go pretty fast. Marshall however was another story. I think we stayed on line for 40mins.

What I like about this particular TARGET STORE is that it has a free parking. Like all Targets it is wheelchair accessible. It have basically everything you need. It is easy to get to by public transportation, or by car. Enjoy.

It sucks entering and leaving the parking lot here. Theres always a stalemate where no cars can move.

River Plaza is not a plaza at all. Its a huge parking structure connecting a group of stores together. You can get a lot at Target, but the lines are ridiculous! Use the self check out to get in and out quickly. I never go to the Marshalls. The selection there sucks. The Starbucks is ok. Every other store is not worth the trip! Take a drive 10mins north to Cross County Mall. Its a better place to go!
Nice selection of clothing,toys,grocerys,pet supplies,makeup,household n beddi g.When it comes to electronics watch out,,online tells you this location has it avail..Once you travel n get to Target they dont have it...U are better off Shopping from Home order online n can pick up in the store...They also seem to have a high Security Presence at the ground level entrance..But I saw No security at the rooftop..Wonder Why??They have a New food court n Starbucks with lots of seating so Hubby n kids can Chill or Visa Versa while the other Shops.When you walk in Ground Level entrance I found it to be Very Messy items every place on the floor...Plenty of Roof Top Parking..Their is an Applebees next Door..
I love this place. Great place to shop for alot of things and also great to grab a bite to eat. Also very easy to get to and from here as there is a subway and a bus stop right out front.
Was able to find everything they said was in stock. No line and was in and out in no time.

Descent place, it serves its purpose. Just be careful with the wannabe cabbies that hang in front of target. These guys and vehicles are not licensed by TLC. The reason why I say this, these cars are not property insured, God forbid something happens, you as the passenger will not be properly covered by their low insurance.

Its ok, very overcrowded customers with savage children running around knocking things over. Disorganized due to the customers. When its time to pay the cashiers are very fast that i loved.

I have generally mixed review for this place just because their alot of thieves around there. I would of give it a 1 star but because of all the good store around it I wont. The reason why I give it so low is because someone in this mall in the parking lot of Marshall and Applebee one of my cars spoiler where stolen. This is a 400 dollar spoiler which is so unfair and uncool. This was the last time I came here.
I can say a blk guy who did my refund was very nice & polite towards me.
Went to Target. Being in NYC expected the crowd. Everything seemed well stocked and enough registers were open so we didnt have to wait in line to check out for too long.

Not a single escalator worked in Target. Not good. Lane Bryant salespeople go over and above to help you findm what you need and get in and out. They are also trained in measuring you to help get your correct size bra.

The place was crowded. I was shopping in the electronics section, I was able to buy what I needed in that section without waiting in the regular checkout line

The mall, is more of a mini mall than anything else. There is another mini mall walking distance, that is if you dont mind walking several blocks. A few stores have closed, payless (duh) and starbucks. The applebees is garbage, wouldnt go. Waste of money and time. Theres the 1 train near by, no elevator entrance, several buses, and like I mentioned if you continue walking up the numbers, ull get IHOP, 5below, carters, a lot less, bjs, and so many more stores. The sidewalk is nice and straight no up down hill to get to these other store, and recently updated, so no cracks, make traveling by foot a breeze. If not take a bus. The area is up and coming so its a pleasant walk. Most parking is free.
This Plaza Not Far From Washington heights, plus Have Public Transportation options, parking, Principales Stores, Target, Home depot, Bj, food Bazaars supermarket, etc. 👍👍🇩🇴🇩🇴😟
I just hate this place. Traffic to get to it is bad because is close to Yankee Stadium. . Parking is a mess. Not all stores are on one building. You have to walk a cross parking to get to other stores. Beware parking is slippery when its misty or rainy. Parking is not free. Ridiculous.
My favorite target. Parking available, plenty of self checkout lines and decent wait time on nornal lines. When the lines were long new registers were opened.

So if Im including Target, Marshalls, and Applebees then overall they are good. Im giving a review to River Plaza and its showing all 3. Target is nice and big, usually has what you needs, there is parking available but get it quick and just learn to use the self checkout or stay behind someone with 1 item more the SC will allow. Marshels is nice and cheap. Brand name items without the pain of parting heaps of cash and I think they share their parking with Target. Applebees has a tiny lot in front of Marshels and the food is good like I say about all food.
Its where the nearest Target is by me & its pretty well kept. With the new covid restrictions there is more self check out, so be prepared & come with bags
I was looking for something and came out with a few items from one store. (Marshalls) The other store, (Target) had an enormous line to get to checkout. I left.
The best you got is the target is not really a mall just a couple of store group together in a fairly ok location the wait staff in applebees is half way decent but very aggressive on getting the amount of tip they want not what you give

Wow doesnt love target happy they have come the the neighborhood. Can be a bit tacking at times with all the livery car drivers hanging outside but hay its the Bronx.

Theres enough parking for you. The Marshalls has some good deals on sneakers but the lines could be a lot more managed. I already reviewed the Applebees. They have a gym and a newly revamped Target there as well. Close to the 1 train. If you dont find what youre looking for there there are other department stores within walking distance; Nearing 231st street and Broadway.
I love River Plaza I usually travel all the way uptown to the Bronx to go there to shop I go to shop at Target its so convenient and I also visit Marshalls which is part of River Plaza highly recommend this place great prices

Lots of FREE PARKING!! As NYC ppl know this is impossible to find. Great Plaza with Target, Marshalls, Applebees, etc. Enjoyed a nice lunch at Applebees and then shopping at Target. Could take my time instead of worrying about garage fees. Only issue is Target needs more elevators. Theres only 2, so on weekends its a short 2-5min wait to get in an elevator.

Used to be nice but now seems over crowded with annoying people. Theres a huge crowd of fake taxi drivers in front of target, they are not licensed. You go near them and all you hear is taxi, taxi, taxi, taxi.
If youre not a walker you will get tired fast. How about some seating outside the stores so that you can rest for the long walk to other stores in the plaza.
Good for parking and buy without problems thinking that your car is outside.
The shopping center was nice and spacious. Looks really new and modern. Made the shopping trip really fun!

This is a niceshopping center just of the bridge in riverdale. We went to the Target which is pretty decent but is anyway about the only one in the north of the city. Its pretty well stocked and the plaza is conveniently located just off the 1 train, very easy to get to. There is also a Marshals there, Lane Bryant, Childrens Place, Applebees, planet Fitness, Game Stop and I think there is even a payless shoes still there.
Target is great. In Marrshalls there is always an endless line but they have good sale - only for really patient people...
I dont have another Target store close to me. I just didnt like the restructuring that they did to the store but I guess I can become used to it.
I have been comming to this location for years. Im happy they have let go of all the ratchet employees they once had. Overall its a nice place to shop. Its nice and safe.
It busy area plus it popular malls, it amazing yes there are crowded people that mall there are target and other store outside can buy too. There are various stuff going on at River plaza. Go and check your self.

Need a better selection
Illegal cab drivers arguing with each other in front of the Target Store put us all in shock. Targets security people and 52nd precinct have ignored this problem for quite some time.

Its always great to visit Targét it would be better if it was a Greatlands Targét though.
Girl at starbucks the 1 with no name just came off her break I asked for a huchada. She did not know what it was so i pointed it out on the board over head and she said ooh we dont have any so i walked away in disbelief.
Clean,staff were knowledgeable and friendly.Wish they had a larger more realistic selections of womens undergarments.
Target looks great with the renovation. You can find other stores here such as marshalls. There is a applebees restaurant and a planet fitness.
Bigger target than counter parts in the Bronx.Much more available items in this area along with nice size parking lot.

2022-04-26Happy to have access to a larger target store but I want to bike over and despite a huge parking lot behind the store there is no place to lock a bike up to. be bike friendly and safety conscious. put a few bike racks out back under the watchful eye of security cameras.

2022-05-01Target has stepped up their game at this location. It has shelves stocked better than before. More like when they first opened. Great place to shop. Hate that they took the photo department off about 6-7 years ago now.

2022-07-04I JUST LOVE SHOPPIG IN TARGET!(AKA TARJAY). IT IS CLEAN AND SO ORGANIZED, There is always someone in RED to help you and the ones I ask are kind, polite and welcoming. I have not come across that was nasty, they were helpful and even at times has walked with me to show me what aisle the product or merchandise I would be looking for. Thank You to all that has been helpful to me. This is for the MANAGEMENT, most of your employees are GREAT PEOPLE and HELPFUL. Thank You. If I had a problem I WILL MAKE IT KNOWN.

2022-07-05We went to Bobs Furniture a quality of furniture at this place looks better than Central Avenue in which we when last week Bob at Marble Hill.ELVIN sale associate was very respectful and he shows us what we wanted for the bedroom Dresser with mirror which is from Brazil its going to take 4 to 6 weeks because its coming from Brazil good Quality Furniture at a good reasonable price

2019-02-24I luv this plaza because of the distance from my house and the great stores that are in it. However Im getting tired of Targets security team. They are disrespectful arrogant and flat out wrong. They make mistakes send dont apokigize or accommodate you for their wrong doing.However I got my retribution back by having the guard called out and embarrassed for his harrasment to customerd and his discrimitory actions towards people off color and of non white customers like me who is Arabic and was stilled projected to be s thief. But how glorious truth is and boy did he get s mouthful and a scorn from his manager.

2022-03-23Something about the air filtration I get very nauseous in this store and once Ive completed my shopping trip I drove home in the cold with the windows open. I felt so bad. I think target should look into this.
