The place is amazing and very recommended to those to have fun and chill with their group. Most of all, the cocktails and drinks were amazing! The bartender, Jerry was chill, attentive, professional, friendly and damn knows how to make the drinks tasty as hell😋 definitely recommend this place and shoutout to the bartender Jerry for them drinks. 12/10👍
Went twice before, have to say both times service was icy and impatient at best, especially towards my friends who are not native English speakers. Pricey for the quality.The bartender Jerry was rude and unprofessional to me. Had been speaking a lot earlier before joining someone for their birthday, and my voice was tired. The song on the dance floor was playing loud and he said he couldnt hear me after trying to order a couple of times. Would have understood, but the bar wasnt busy and after the song changed, he ignored and walked past me twice to take other orders.

They gave us the worst karaoke experience ever! The room was so plain, we had metal stools to sit on and the sound was HORRIBLE. You couldn’t even hear the music right. We called someone and they were like “yeah that’s how it is” lol not what you want to hear basically. Then he was like we have another room but it’s 40$ more. By then my and my friends were like yeah no thanks we are out. Wouldn’t recommend and will never come back.
Expensive as HECK all around. Interesting music vibes and very empty. Karaoke rooms are spacious but some serious charges if you break a microphone about $500, which is silly considering people are drinking. Make sure you come ready to spend tax money and with responsible people.
There is a $30 drink/food minimum when u choose a private karaoke room. I visited on Friday 3/18/2022, the place was empty, people doing karaoke in a couple rooms but there was an hr wait for food cause it was coming from their sister restaurant across the street 🙄. ordered drinks and asked for lite ice, got a glass filled with ice, when the drink was replaced, there was zero liquor!! When our time was almost up, the bartender interrupted our song with the bill. I got watered down tasteless drinks and less than the hr of karaoke we paid for. As soon as we paid. We were rushed out the room.
Honestly kinda ridiculously overpriced for outdated machines. They have 0 foreign songs (no Korean), a bottle of liquor priced >$200, and so many American songs have copyrights so cant even play them, although they show up on their list. Definitely been able to play those songs in NYC so just is an outdated Karaoke machine. The only thing giving this a 3 star is the stellar servers that work there, they are nice and fun.
Haven’t been here in a few years. Our cousins visited from Chicago and we wanted to show them a good time. Kris and company beyond showed us a great time and hospitality was amazing.
Jerry was the best bartender Ive ever had in my life . Liz went above and beyond in making sure my needs were met . Promotions and raises for both of them .
For karaoke fans, this is a great place to check out. Servers are friendly and swift, the drinks arent overpriced, and the song selection for karaoke is pretty extensive. For events like birthdays, they have private rooms which can be booked, which is what brought me there. Lots of screens so you can see the lyrics from wherever youre sitting, and a central area for the bottles and food. Overall a very fun time.
It was really expensive for no good reason, no kpop songs, the karaoke system crashed but at least the service people was nice. I feel that we got overcharged when they said that we hadnt reached our $80 food and drink minimum and doing that math afterwards they definitely did
Had a great time with excellent service from a wonderful hostess. With a wide variety of songs, a private room that was clean and tasty food and drink; I would recommend going to The Spot for top tier karaoke fun!
I was gonna rate 4 because of how mid the atmosphere was, but the 5th star goes to a hard working bartender Jerry. My friends and I were having a good time and Jerry was our server; bonus point for his OUTSTANDING bartending skills and tricks👏👏👏 lots of potential with that one — surprised he doesnt work at some high-end restaurant/bar. ASK 4 JERRY!
Kris and her manager Shane are awesome and took great care of us! Treat them with respect and they will do the same for you plus some to make your night a good one. While the karaoke system could use some updates, this is the place to be if you wanna have a good time with your group. Kris and Shane were both accommodating, friendly, and made sure we had a good time. Thank you both!

I’ve been in many karaoke places in my life but I’ve never came across this place. The drinks were great, the vibes were nice, and especially the service was amazing. I can’t quite remember the employees there but i remember specifically bartender jerry. He was giving amazing service and made sure my experience here was the best I’ve ever had. Also the manager was very generous. 10/10 karaoke with 10/10 service strongly recommend this spot.

Service was not as described. They told us we need to pay upfront before we can be serviced so we did but everything was downhill fromthere. They seated us late & then kicked us out a hour early because they said our slot was according to the “original reservation time” even though they were the reason we were not seated on time. We paid for additional services which we did not receive either. We tried reasoning with the employees & manager but they were extremely rude. It was a waste of money & overall a really horrible experience. I would not recommend. I should have known it was sketchy when they had an employee standing outside begging people to come in. You live & you learn. Would not recommend. I would give 0 starts if possible. Please go to another karaoke bar.
Ok…just not what I was looking for, or what others have said here. There is no public area that does karaoke, this place has private rooms only.. Very dark, like being in a nightclub in the 80’s. Bottle of Coors light was $9. All the karaoke spots on this strip (and I went to ALL of them last night) are in office buildings with not handicap accessible entrances, bathrooms or elevators. Not sure what is going on here but I’m sure you can guess 😉

Drinks were good and the workers were nice, but I overheard the bartender Jerry use the nword when he very clearly is Asian. To me this is inexcusable behavior, it does not sit right with me at all. Allowing a worker to blatantly throw words like that around when there’s customers near is terrible.
Kris is AMAZING!!! I received such good service. She made my experience here unforgettable. I look forward to coming back next time, I would definitely recommend this place!
I have to say that Spot Karaoke was a diamond in the rough. In an area that has a lot of competition, Spot is an excellent place for large groups (we had a get together of 20 people) and John at Spot was super helpful. We spent $40 bucks a person for 3 hours, 2 bottles and some typical bar food which is pretty good.The music selection has all the classic and todays favorites as well.I highly recommend this spot especially for large groups since its hard to find places that can take so many people in a private room!
I’ve been to several karaoke places in ktown but always comes back to this place. First of all, service of the staffs are on point regardless of big crowd of the place. Second, they constantly update the song selections and easy to search through a remote control. Last but not least, they have various drink options and carries majority of liquors. Highly recommend this place

Went here for an impromptu girls night out with some friends. Amazing service and wonderful drinks! Bartender Jerry made me one killer mojito. Our server Kris who was taking care of us was so hospitable and made sure we got everything we needed. I’ve been to almost every karaoke place in ktown and Kris was definitely the best server I’ve ever had.TLDR: This is one of my favorite places in ktown. If you want to go to karaoke or even grab a drink, this is quite literally the spot you should go to.
They didn’t let me use the fire stairs when I was trying to exit. They blocked it with a vacuum. That is highly illegal and a terrible thing to do. I would advise them to change this immediately before someone takes legal action.

Karaoke was fun, but it took them 20 minutes until they explained the karaoke machine. We drank cocktails during happy hour and it said 8$ any cocktail (see picture) and in the end we paid 11 dollars for them. Only after a long time arguing they charged us the right price for half of the cocktails we ordered. Additionally, they charged us food we didnt eat. The singing was nice but we definitely go for another karaoke bar next time.
This place is dope. My guy jerry and his friend Gucci belt took care of us and were very cool. Gave us a round on the house. Recommend this place 100% not too packed like other places. Will be coming back.
Ive been to Spot several times in the past with other friends and think that it is an okay karaoke Bar (limited song selection, okay mics - watch out for feedback, and okay food/drinks). Last night, I was appalled by what I saw from the service staff when a customer was delivering a complaint. Within a minute, the Spot Karaoke floor manager got increasingly agitated and started shouting at her, even moving aggressively towards her in a threatening stance.Never in my life have I seen such disturbing behavior from service staff at Spot (or in any establishment). I had to try and break up the situation which led this floor manager call security on me to bounce me out of the place. Thankfully the security team member that night was calm and I was able to explain him what was happening, which stopped an all out scuffle from occurring. Meanwhile, this floor manager was being restrained by his own staff members.... an incredible and embarrassing scene.Moral of the story, you can tell a lot about a place from the people they hire.... this floor manager, clearly does not know how to do his job and should reflect on his appalling actions - how can you in any circumstance threaten a customer? This was a wild experience (I dont mean it in a good way) and I most likely will never come back. I hope Spot management deals with the unprofessional behavior from the staff member and gives that security guard a raise.
Shoutout to the whole staffs and the generous manager for accommodating us despite the crazy crowd and super drunk people. It was my friend’s birthday and we were very satisfied with the drinks and service here. Karaoke system and furniture need to be renovated a little bit, but overall my experience was outstandingly happy. Highly recommended.
Its a great spot for karaoke and the drinks arent too expensive. We had a great experience. However, the manager, Shane, was very rude. One of our party misinterpreted pricing on entry and before any discussion could occur, he barged into the room stating you are wasting my time, very aggressively. We happily paid but wanted clarity. It was not a great way to speak with clients.Besides this communication, the venue and karaoke rooms were very fun
We had a very nice time. For package 1 it cost $369 and you got a private room, a bottle of liquor, a small bucket of beers, and two chasers. Ive seen a few of the other places in Koreatown and this is medium in terms of tech and amenities. The songs were in books (not digital). We had a great time.

Came here the other night with friends and let me start off by saying Jerry is the BEST! BARTENDER! OUT! THERE! He is the type of bartender you don’t forget. He was super attentive to our needs and very professional. He is an outstanding conversationalist and extremely friendly. I will most definitely be coming back here.
A group of my coworkers and I went here to blow off some steam, it was a Tuesday evening. Our room was very clean and it smelled good. The only problem we had is that we had a bit of slow service for a Tuesday and we were the only ones there! Also the karaoke machine is Korean so it was a bit hard to figure it out, but you can connect YouTube to it and do karaoke that way which we did! Also the prices was a bit off on the website it said 37 per hr, when we got there they told us 45 per hr, which is not a big difference, but still, overall it was a good experience, I don’t know if I will go again, but we will see

This place is good. Has good drinks and the food was delicious. Id say always use the Korean system rather than the American one. The selection for Americans might be smaller but the sound quality in the Korean system is so much better.
Me and my siblings been coming to karaoke for the past months and we’ve always had the best experience here . The bartenders are fast paced and lovingly social. Especially Derek shoutout to him because his drinks are always on point. I can’t find a better place to go that gets you hype no matter the mood. If you wanna find a club that guarantees you leave happy def come here.
Would NEVER go back to this place - unprofessional service, terrible song choice / sound effectOverall, song list was very mediocre and the quality of the mics was terrible - far from what you would expect from an Asian style private karaoke rooms.In particular, we had a terrible experience at the end of the night. Server came into room 10 minutes early to talk about sorting out the bill in the middle of our song and before our party was ready to leave, which was rude. Front desk manager was very unprofessional and rude. When we were trying to explain the situation and close out the bill, he came up to me in a very threatening way and became offended when I told him to back off and stay six feet away. Other staff members had to talk to him and calm him down, which is embarrassing and very unprofessional.

Dope spot in ktown, i got a karaoke room with my friends last night and everything was easy to use and it was overall a fun time. the bartender jerry was always there when we needed drinks and made the bar section of the place way more enjoyable. will definitely be going back :)

Was pretty skeptical with how it looked at first but it turned out to be pretty spacious and it leaves a lot of room to dance in front of the bar, great drinks at decent prices and the workers were on top of their game, especially Jerry (bartender), he was fast and was able to serve drinks in a flashy way that I haven’t seen in a long time, so overall great “spot” (pun intended) to meet up with old friends and bond.
We came to this spot on a whim and Annie was amazing she made us drinks and definitely didn’t pour lightly! We loved having her help us we had a great time 10/10 would recommend coming with friends even on a Monday night (which is what we did)
Great place to chill out Great atmosphere Staffs are all cooperative they have open bar area and private rooms available at the back which accmodate for big group of people more than 20. I would definitely recommend this place if you guys looking for place having a great night.
I was on the phone with one of their employees on the topic of booking a private room for me and 9 of my friends. Since some of my friends are under 21 I asked the employee if it was okay and they said yes with some exceptions no drinks are allowed into the room, only served in the bar area and I was fine with that. Something that was upsetting was that the employee wanted to charge me an extra $160 for food and drinks, but how can you charge me that amount if my friends are underage? they are definitely not going to be buying drinks! I think they were trying to take advantage of me so beware if you are trying to plan an event there.
Its okay....Have a feeling that this is more of a drinking place / bar than a singing place / karaoke.The food took forever to get to the table, took so long that they finally arrived after our time at karaoke ended!But they did compensate us for our time with free shots... But Im not a big drinker so didnt really work for me.The quality of the actual karaoke is bad, bad system, bad mic, bad video quality. Overall not a place to come and sing, but a place to be drunk at. Wasnt what I was looking for and wont come back again. Sorry if this is same with every other karaoke in NYC.

Booked a room for an hour and ordered food and drinks immediately. Nothing came until they kicked us out of the karaoke room an hour later because someone else made a reservation, so we had to carry our food and drinks out into the main bar area. Our order was wrong and they didnt bring us water. Kinda felt like the whole place was a scam. Recommend finding somewhere else

If you’re looking for excellent cocktails for a great price, you need to look no further. With a great selection of uniquely tailored-drinks, you’ll be wanting to stay to taste all of them. Special mention to my bartender, Tanya who was absolutely a dream. Not only was she incredibly nice, she was also the artist behind the excellent drinks I had the pleasure to drink. Also, if you are looking for a nice lo-fi, chill lounge to relax at or have a night of singing at karaoke, this is the place to go to. You will not be disappointed!

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was a great surprise birthday for him. It was our first time ever doing karaoke, and it was cute. We had a private room with 10 guest and it was perfect intimate setting for us, with drinks and finger food. I would definitely come back.
My friends and I hosted a gathering here, and our experience was fantastic. It was my first time in a korean atmospheric karaoke, and despite the hectic situation, the servers were professional enough to explain how everything worked. The service was very quick and the servers were always attentive to our needs. The venue here is cheaper compared to other karaoke spots and the food here is very exceptional, with more than sufficient servings. I highly recommend this venue for hosting parties and gathering with friends. This venue presented more than what I expected, therefore will definitely come here again.
I was hanging out with my friends yesterday in ktown and everyone in my group wanted to go to karaoke so we decided to check this spot out. This place have good vibe, good music as you walk in. So we got a room for about 13 people and we went with the package 2. This was really nice deal because it comes with 2 bottles, 10 beers, 2 food and also you get 3 hours of karaoke for $480. They also have very good song choices and the workers were really nice checking up on us if we need anything and the service was really good. Now I know if I ever want to sing with my friends, I’m definitely coming here!
This place is cozily nestled in the heart of ktown. It sports a great bar and several rooms for karaoke. Our bartender, Tanya, was fantastic. She mixed us several cocktails from the menu that were absolutely superb. Drinks were not watered down, tasted refreshing, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend anyone who passes through to give this place a visit.
When I walked in the vibes at Spot put my friends and I in a good mood. We called ahead to reserve a room which was very helpful considering most other karaokes places are packed and make you wait. If you didn’t call for a reservation you could also sing in the lounge area which is nice its only $2 a song and the bar is huge. The bartenders and other staff were very nice and helpful and at our beck and call. A huge plus is that its very clean at spot I hate going somewhere and all of the surfaces are sticky. Definitely going to come again.
I don’t come here often but when I do, Jerry is always working the bar. He is somehow able to hear me through the loud music and never misses my drinks.

Hosted a birthday party here with 10 friends and we all had the time of our lives! Excellent service from the day we made the reservation. We had a room and food package consisting of 3 hours of karaoke with 2 bottles of hard liquor, 10 beers, and 2 platters. Our server checked in with us to see exactly when we wanted the food to come out. We also brought our own cake, and although we were initially told that they could not keep the cake in their fridge, they were actually able to honor our request. Song selections were solid - we sang all of our favorite 90s hits, as well as plenty of recent top 40 songs. We had such a good time that we extended our stay for an hour and ordered more drinks. When our time in the room was up, we were given a free bottle of champagne with a delightfully-lit sparkler; we shared it in the bar area, where we continued to dance to the karaoke tunes they had in the background. It was an excellent place to ring in a birthday with great friends. Will be back!!

I will be very direct and honest about this Karaoke lounge on this review.Pros: the space is clean, affordable foods/drinks, and reasonably priced rooms considering that it’s in Manhattan.Cons: the staffs are unprofessional. They change their policies and words, which ended up making our experience not so positive. They first said that there is a $50 minimum for food and drinks on the phone, but when we got there, they changed it to $60. The staff who took our reservation clearly confirmed that we will have the room for 2 hours. When we got there, they cut down our time to 1 hour and right on the dot, kicked us out. Very unprofessional with communication.

I’ve been exploring a lot of karaokes in K-town and this place is amazing. I first visited The Spot to check the place out and see the vibe, but it was beyond my expectation. Second time coming, I brought my friends and reserved one of the rooms and the room was very nice too. They have very nice deals such as packages and open bar which I love, but most importantly the service. Everything was explained before hand so there is no confusion and the staff tried to help figure out what will work better with our group. I think if you guys are around K-town, check this place out!!!!!

I went to the spot karaoke for my friends B day, we stayed at vip room which was very nice and clean. Since we had a large group of people, we ordered package3, which is including 3 foods, 3 bottles of liquor and etc. Making reservation was really smooth, since the staffs were very friendly and nice.I also liked the atmosphere of the place and song selection. Bartenders were very friendly too. I would definitely willing to visit this place again. Recommended to people who is finding some place to party and have a great time with friends. :)

Extremely overpriced considering other karaoke on the same block. We booked last minute so we didnt get to do our research. We sat on hard metal stools for $100 an hour for 4 ppl. Go somewhere else. Horrible mistake booking this location. Savannah was very sweet, but unfortunately she was only an employee and had no control over her management’s poor customer service.
The atmosphere for the general occupants was nice however my girls and I went there for karaoke and they had no songs. We spent so much time looking for a song that it took away from the overall experience. Additionally the device to select the songs was simple yet user unfriendly and it would have helped a great deal if they had one that was in English. They also add 20% gratuity on bills of $150 or more which given the aforementioned limitations seemed a bit ridiculous. If you really want to enjoy karaoke with a large music selection from this decade this is not the place for you however if you want to hang in a lounge vibe atmosphere it wasnt bad...
Great song selection but food was overly priced
I stopped by this place with a group of friends to celebrate one of my friend’s birthday party last week Saturday. My friend made a reservation for the private room so it was easy for us to get in once we got there. The room was very clean and the drinks were okay. Especially staying at the lounge area after was fantastic making new friends there because there was groups of people who came to sing at the public lounge area. It was great experience for myself at The Spot.

I came here with a large group of people and the service was impeccable. The servers were very profesional and kind. The bartenders were able to give us drink swiftly and the drinks tasted amazing. They had a room package deal and i got package 3 and i was able to get 3 bottles of jameson also a lot of beers, and 3 hours of Karaoke. Food was delicious as well which came with the package. This place is much cheaper than other karaoke places and i highly suggest this place!
Stopped by after dinner with a bunch of friends and had a wonderful night. We sat at the bar, had a few drinks(def recommend Mango Bongo) and then decided to get a karaoke room. We had difficulty with finding a few songs but the staff were very helpful. Cant wait to go back!
Came to The Spot with my friends and we had so much fun! Even though it was a Monday night it was suprisingly crowded and the bartenders were quick to help us out to get started on the karaoke. The lounge was clean and big with beautiful lights and the bar set up was very neat. The music was booming with latest trend songs and we ordered a pitcher of beer and played beer pong. There was also a glass room behind the bar which was really cool and it looked like a private room and seemed to have a corporate party going on. I would definitely come back and get a private room next time!
First time there and we were a group. We had a reservation for a room to do pruvate karaoke. Seating was very comfortable and there were two large song volumes to choose from: one by artist and one by name of song. Clean, well-lit room and you can order food by menu (think bar food) and contact the staff with any issues at the touch of a button. For a two hour rental, bottle service and food (including tax and gratuity) ran the cost per person to $65 (8 of us to give you an idea). Fun experience and I would definitely go back.

This is my second time visiting this karaoke and this time I celebrate my birthday here. I just love this place so much since they have very unique LED tables and good sound systems. In addition, staffs were very kind and helpful. While I was planning my birthday, one of the concern was the drinks. Me and my friends are very picky with drinks but surprisingly this karaoke place carried most of the liquors and even variety selection of cocktails. MUST try Spot Ninja Turtle.

I was here last week around 11 pm and there were so many people at the lounge already. But there was barely any waiting time and the service was so quick throughout the night. The staff was friendly and so were the customers. Me and my friends used the open karaoke and we had a blast. Im planning on bringing my co-workers next time because majority of them are new to karaoke and Im pretty sure they would enjoy this chill, comfortable vibe.

Great spot for karaoke! You can catch happy hour everyday from 5pm to 8pm. The crowd is always diverse and very chill. You reserve a private room if you have a party or just stay in the common bar area were each song is $2. They also serve food if youre hungry.
Came here for the first time yesterday after work with my girlfriend and had so much fun. Turns out they have free lounge karaoke on Tuesdays so we deff made good use of that. They also have happy hour till 8, so the cocktails were pretty cheap - Erica’s a great bartender! Overall a great place to just chill, sing and drink tasty cocktails! (Ninja Turtle is my go-to now)
Came with a group of business associates who had never experienced Korean karaoke before. Stella was a fantastic host and did a fantastic job taking care of us. The whole party left racing about the experience. I will definitely make this my go-to K-Town karaoke spot. Great selection of songs, hospitable staff, great drinks, and great ambiance!
The spot karaoke &bar is awesome and recommendable! You can enjoy much fun with music. This karaoke is so good for group regardless of small and large. You can choose many option for foods and drinks. Open bar, Room Bars , haply hours etc. The staff is so kind , which can make the atmosphere more comfortable. This place is sick! i’m having such a fun time as we speak, the vibe is absolutely perfect for a chill group of friends.This place was my first Post-Covid indoor experience and it was a pleasurable reminder of the fun times that bar hopping can be. The good thing about this place is that there is absolutely nothing bad about it. I went there last Friday to have my friend’s birthday party. Although we visited this place for the first time, i was very impressed by fantastic atmosphere and perfect staffs. The staffs’ service exceptionally attentive and helpful. We ordered Bottom shelf open bar, and the staff gave a champagne to celebrate the birthday party. My friends and I had a great time!!! Everything is just great. This place is a gem, I’ll be coming back for sure.
The Spot is such a chill, fun place. I love to come here all the time after a long day at work. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are affordable and well made. Its also a great karaoke place with lots of song choices. If youre looking to experience Korean karaoke in NYC, this is the place to be.
Worst karaoke & lounge ever! Have never had this problem with any of the other karaokes around ktown. Rude and disrespectful manager name Erica, but the employees were nice. Worst customer service! Would definitely not recommend anyone to go there!! If I misunderstood the policy you could be nice about it and not be rude, that is not how you show customer service to anyone.Overpriced venue, they charge you by the room per hour and additional charge per person per hour and tax and tips. You must pay before hand, never had to pay so much before in any other karaoke venues around like 5bar, duet 35 etc. Theres so many karaokes around ktown but this has been one of the worst. Also, if you book in advance you must pay a deposit fee which you can not cancel. They were not clear at all about their policy!!! And they went ahead and charge me. Their explanation on their charges for the karaokes are so misleading and instead they blame me for not understanding. Never going back again and recommend people to not go and be disrespected by horrible service.
This place is actually really great super fun and a lot of drink choices and the karaoke just makes things more lit especially when you’re drinking and the service is really nice and polite. The vibe here is also amazing the moment you step out from the elevator the music is bumping and you feel that good vibe from everyone around you. And everything about this place is just so chill. There’s also beer pong tables, a dart range, basketball hoops and just activities and activities it’s not like some boring bar where you just drink and jam to music. You get to experience a different type of vibe in here. I personally high-key recommend this place it’s awesome
Me and my friends hosted a birthday party here last Saturday night and I have to say, we all had a blast! Since we had a big group of people, we called ahead in time to make a reservation and the whole entire process was a breeze. We went with package 2 which got us two bottles and a ton of food, which was more than enough for everyone! I loved the vibe of this place, very fancy with great beats playing:) We took the vip room which was also amazing - great selection of both pop/kpop music (a lot of recent additions too!) and honestly the quality of the room beat some of the other places I’ve been around the area. Servers and bartenders were very attentive and friendly which made things even better.Overall, I have to say, if you’re looking for something more than just a karaoke bar, this is the spot! - No pun intended:) Loved every minute of my experience here. Highly recommend!!! xx

Came here with one my of best friends after a rough day. Ruby and Kevin are honestly the most friendly people Ive ever have serve me. Not only are they patient and hospital, but when they talk they are genuinely trying to get to know you better. Drinks are definitely A1 with service exceeding. 10/10 would recommend :)
I definitely recommend this place. I had the best time of my life at spot karaoke. They are very welcoming and have great service. People there are so nice, professional, and polite. The drinks there are absolutely amazing. They have good deals and they have a lot of entertainments other than Karaoke for you as well. It is in a great location too. I love this place and will definitely go back for a weekend full of fun.
Ok to bad. For a karaoke place the system was not technically good. You couldnt even change the key of the songs! When we asked how to change it the waiter said, Were not that advanced. Room Packages they say cant be downgraded after making a reservation and the food trays for those packages are small appetizers. They try to nickle and dime you. We had a bottle of liquor etc. left after our room time was up. They placed our things in a section of the public lounge afterwards. When we sat down the manager gave us attitude and said we couldnt sit there because there was a reservation. I told her that our things were placed there by them! They then moved our things to another table (and no one came for that reservation). When we asked for shot glasses for our bottle of liquor and started sharing the shots with other ppl they claimed to be out of shot glasses! The place looks nice but customer service was not good. They were clearly out for $ and asked the group to write a 5 star review in exchange for champagne. I dont recommend. Better to go to Turntable Chicken and Jazz downstairs... theyre nice, its cheaper, you can change the keys of songs, and their food is slammin!

Went there for a friends birthday party and we had a blast! Drinks were good, the staff friendly and they have good group packages (drinks+karaoke). Also loved the fact that they had a lot of non korean songs to choose from, i always struggle to find good songs in karaokes!
So this the first time I’ve ever been to this place and its really amazing because our bartender sever was Tonya and shes is so amazing! It’s like meeting up w/ your friend! If anyone wants a good time and a good drink I said Tonya because she is the best at serving her guest 🙌🏽👏🏽❤️
I had a really good time at this lounge. That is why I have decided to give a 4-Star Review. The only negative experience that I had was the way the bartenders treated the patrons. I feel that they could have been more welcoming & less worried about how many drinks they were giving out during the open bar. After all it is an open bar.
The service was good and enjoyed our time here. Reason for two stars off is that we had to pay a $60 food/drink minimum per hour for the room which is a bit absurd for only two people. I can see a larger group, but $120 dollars worth of food/drinks for two people in two hours? Too much.
We had so much fun here last night! My guy friends really liked this place. Karaoke out in the hall and private karaoke rooms! The place looks modern and lit but also had that intimate feel. Bartenders are pretty and the service is awesome. Stop by here late night for some good vibes.
I made reservations for 12 on a Saturday. Unfortunately, only 8 showed up. The place was nice, the room was roomi and the drinks selections were really good. What was misleading- they have the old system . Nothing is digital ALL books. I went to their website prior and saw tons of Spanish songs but once we are there , the songs were not even updated (my whole crew were Spanish) we wanted a little of both. The appetizers? We’re extremely small! I paid for 12 ppl so I thought they would give me for same but we literally had a quesadilla (3 small slices) and chip and guacamole- this amount only feeds 2 ppl. I asked why if I paid for 12 and can we get more for 8. Their respond that that’s all they can provide ( my group was still hungry so I paid for 4 extra plates) .they were nice enough to to give us a speaker to connect our phones but sadly couldn’t project our songs on TV. I asked how much if we wanted an extra hour, they respondes it’s $80 for another night plus $10 per person ( not including tax and gratuity) and we would have to order more food - what a freaking ripoff! Smh my bill was already $700+We left completely unsatisfied. They could have given us an extra 15 minutes considering we still had drinks to finish but they just came in , opened the door and have someone there watching us until we left (the room was NOT reserved for anyone else). So I lost half of bottle of liquor, no Spanish songs, nothing digital, all songs in a book, food was really small and overcharged for everything. I love the concept of karaoke but not at this place ..... maybe go in drink and sing along but never make reservations for a private room.
I came here because of my friend birthday. Every friends who came the karaoke were satisfied with the Spot Karaoke. it was good at everthing, especially ligthing and atmosphere. Also, the karaoke whole staffs were really kind and service was good for us. I will visit here with my other friends next time.

Nice public room and cool ambiance. Overpriced - wow. $8 Kirin?! Wonky karaoke. We lost oodles of singing time dealing with a semi-functioning remote. Dishonest staff. First I was told Id get a free drink for signing up. Then Im told I have to spend $200 for that. After a verbal agreement, with deposit paid, was made. Then I arrive and see ALL guests get a free drink just for leaving a Yelp review. Which they tried to weasel out of. Poor English song library. Lastly, a 35% tip added on - when we didnt have a large group and this wasnt explicitly stated or printed anywhere. There are much better, cheaper, more honest karaoke places in the area. Choose wisely.
We loved celebrating our friend’s birthday tonight at the Spot! It was so much fun and Tuesday nights are also free song nights in the main room! We had a blast and will definitely come back. Thanks Ryu!
Out of all the karaoke bars Ive been to in NYC, this one is by far the worst!!!! For one thing, the staff are absolute liars and the manager is extremely rude and condescending. Do you have anything better to do than rip customers off? I mean, $50 for food and drink for 2 people? Get a (expletive) clue! Oh and one more thing... you dont walk into an area while a customer is singing a song, even if its just to drop off a check! The proper thing to do is to WAIT until their performance is over (guess they didnt teach that in management school). I will never, ever go back to this place again- get that? Ever again!
This place is awesome for karaoke, i came with my a dozen of my friends and we had the best time ever! The service was amazing, workers were so nice and the system was just awesome! I would definitely come again! ❤️
Although I had so much fun, I gave a 4 out 5 because upon arriving I was told one price and by the end of the night, one rule led to another. Every hour you need to buy a drink, and didnt learn of this till after we paid for the additional hour. We were told 13 bucks win we walked in, and it ended up being 15 bucks per person, per hour. HAVE FUN, HOWEVER, BE CAREFUL! ASK FOR PRICING UP FRONT.
Awe.Some. I love this spot. Ive been to a number of karaokes before but this place is all over the top. Me and my girl friends rented a small room for my 23rd birthday party and it was the best birthday party Ive ever had!!!!! The unique characteristic of this place is its distinctive atmosphere with refined interior and good sound effects of karaoke machine complimented with excellent mic system, food, and alcohol service. While we were in the room and having karaoke service, we ordered Korean style spicy chicken wings, fat fried shrimps and flavored soju such as strawberry and yogurt. The foods and drinks were very tasty and I highly recommend to order them if you go there. The staffs were very friendly and professional and they also had phenomenon bar service. Although three hours would be a plenty of time to enjoy a karaoke, we wanted to stay there longer because it was such a fantastic place to spend time in! Im definitely going back for my 24th birthday party and I cannot wait for it.
From beginning to ending this was a less than enjoyable experience.The waiter named Junsun was utterly rude and dismissive from the very beginning.The food was expensive, very small portions and not very good.The music selection hasn’t been updated in a while.I’ve been to a few of these, but this one is by far the worst I’ve been to in this area.

I strongly recommend this place. I visited The Spot with my old friends which, they came from California to visit. I was very surprised as soon as I saw the BEER PONG TABLE. I was always looking for the place for beer pongs but I had hard time finding one. I was very glad that I can introduce my friends a place like this. My crew was very satisfy with the services and especially their happy hour prices. Even when my friends went back to the state, they still talk about the fun time that we had at this place. I have been to the spot maybe 3 or 4 times with my crews. First 2 times it was alright. The sound quality and mic were not that good. But guess what? After 2 weeks I and my friend went back (because my friend has crush on a waiter) then realized they improved their whole system and fixed all the problem that I was complaining about. They do respond to the customers and take all request seriously and try to improve it. I am very happy with my experience at spot and I am going to be the regular.Thank you Minji for being such a good bartender! And Eric please give my friend your number! Jkjk
This place was not good. Had a reservation for 8pm, and I showed up a about 20 minutes early. Walked in and said that Im just waiting for a few minutes for the others to join. I was told I could wait in the room I rented. I said I would, but it should not start the timed hour. I was assured it wouldnt. And as I expected, they started time and shortened the actual time of the reservation.The drinks option is a scam. Drinks are likely watered down because the whole party pretty much said the same thing.The are better places to go.
The night initially started out slow, but Erica and her team turned the experience around. They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs and concern. It was a satisfying experience. They even gave us shots on the house and an additional 30 mins. Great time...
When I come to Ktown in middle manhattan with my friends I never forget to come here because this place have great vibe, friendly staff/ bartenders and also if I need help, they always come as soon as they can take our order or any technical difficulties. I love the package 2 because it comes with good amount of alcohol and food. Plus the package 2 gives 3 hours of karaoke. I love this place and will always come!

Spot is the place after 11pm. Hi there grab a mic and belt out your favorite songs in front of everyone for only $2 bucks. Drinks are pricey but if your are there its to sing!! The private rooms are nice but theres nothing like singing at the bar.

I went here with a couple of friends and we had a great time. The drink packages were a resonablely priced. We got the one with one bottle liquor, 5 beers and a food. We liked how the selection range of the beers was wide. The fries and nachos were great also. It also came with chasers. I feel like it was enough for a small group of friends. We stayed 2hours in one of the regular rooms. I expecially liked how there were many new songs, I felt like the songs were very up to date. I also noticed that the lounge had karaoke too. It seemed like the people out there were also having fun, expecially with the beer pong.
This place is awesome spot for casual karaoke bar or throwing special events. It has various song choices with multiple languages. I had my birthday party here and I was very satisfied the service that they provided. The staffs were really friendly and nice to us. I definitely recommend this place for people who would like to have karaoke birthday party or just fun karaoke night.

I came late at night with a couple friends and they were extremely friendly and attentive! We decided to get a private room and thankfully we were escorted to our rooms without too much wait. Their song list is very up to date with the latest korean and english songs! Definitely recommend if you’re visiting ktown!
This bar is awesome. It’s a very comfortable area in Korea town with great bartenders and service. I have reserved vip room for having a party with my friends, the room was very nice and clean. We did open bar service for the night which is unlimited mix drinks and etc. During the open bar service we stayed in the lounge as well, and they have a great playlist selection of music. I highly recommend trying there cocktails very good
If I could give this place zero stars I would.We had a reservation for a private room for 1030pm for a party of 20 people. We arrived early and waited at the bar until our time. Once it was 1030pm we continued to be told that it would be another 5 minutes, another 5 minutes until 11pm. I get that sometimes things are running late but please give us a real time estimate instead of just saying 5 minutes every time. Once we finally got into our room, they didnt even know what package we had even though it was reserved, we put down a deposit and had multiple phones calls with them regarding it. Once they realized we were getting the open bar package, we were told we had to pay upfront. So here we are 35 min late and now we have to wait even longer. Couldnt they have handled that while we were waiting for the room? Apparently not. We wait another 10 minutes for the guy to charge the card and come back and stamp our hands and then he quickly left. We keep waiting for him to come back to take our drink order. About 10 min later I finally go find him and ask him to take our order to which he responds that we have to go to the bar ourselves and get drinks. Wow thank you for telling us that earlier!!!.....isnt the point of getting a room so that someone brings you drinks? This was never told to us during the multiple phone calls with the venue while reserving this party room. So now everyone has to individually leave the room (because you arent allowed to get a drink for someone else) and wait at the crowded bar to get a drink while wasting karaoke time. We also got the VIP party room which is supposed to have party lights....it didnt. We asked to speak to the manager and were told they dont have one!!! Uhh ok...Finally after much complaining as we were spending nearly $1000 there, he took our drink orders. They do not care about their customers here. They just want you to spend your money and leave. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. The whole time we were there one of the toilets was completely clogged and no one ever came to fix it. It looked like a dirty frat house bathroom. I definitely would not recommend going here for a private room, maybe regular karaoke is fine but they do not take care of their customers at all.
The spot is one of the best spot in nyc. We had blessed time there. It has nice service by waiters and bartenders. The manager placed one of the waiter to our room and he was keep checking on us to make sure that we were having good time. We ordered one of the package deals so didnt have to pay the room charge and it was very efficient deal with one bottle liqour and food. Me and my friends had so much fun there. Im sure that Ill come back with other groups of my friends and recommend the place.
Ive went to this place yesterday with my friends. When I got to there, I was impressed with the atmosphere. I just loved it! I didnt know which one would be good to eat but the employee recommended the spot slider. The employee was kind. The slider was good. It was simple but delicious.It was an good experience. I might come again later.

2022-02-15I booked a reservation with them for my birthday on February 8th for my birthday February 12. From the moment they first contacted me, they were such a great help. They answered all of my questions from the very first call and they were very prompt in answering all my questions as the day grew closer. They were very patient and understanding and they just made the whole experience super easy.Upon arrival, the staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable. Every complicated question we had, they were able to answer and were very clear.The drinks were really good. If you are having a larger party for an event, I would recommend getting the Open Bar. It was worth it. We were able to get our money’s worth. If not, their cocktails were really good and their shots were also good, although they were really cocktail shots.The only reason why I’m giving 4-stars is because when I reserved and when I was in contact with the staff, I reserved for 12 people and informed them that it might become 14. When we arrived, we had THE smallest and the HOTTEST room in the whole Lounge. I would say it was less than 8x8’. We were all so crammed in there and could barely move around without being on top of each other, and on top of that we were sweating like crazy. There were no coat hooks or bag hooks so we took up chairs and space trying to put all our stuff in one spot.

2022-05-11Nice private rooms and bar. Waiters are really nice and understanding! They have mostly American music and there is a $35 food drink minimum +35 fee per hour. expensive. You get 10% off if you pay in cash or Venmo so just download the app before you go. They check IDs. Its on the 9th floor, look for signs outside to find it.

2021-12-28The room had hard small seats & the food took 30+ minutes and was cold. Asked for ketchup and they brought it in a dusty broken cup. The prices are way too high for the stuff provided. The workers were nice though.

2022-05-08Great place, the employees are super nice! The food was decent but expensive and took forever, but thats almost all karaoke places! Overall, great spot if you just want to sing and scream your hearts out to your favorite songs! Its not too expensive too, a private room for me and my friends for the hour was really reasonable! Its one of my favorite memories in the city.

2022-05-28I went to spot karaoke and what a RIP OFF. First not all songs are able to play. 2nd CHECK THE PRICES FOR FOOD. $43 for fries that is meant to feed 1 person. When I asked why so much I was told they order it from a restaurant. Fyi the fries was nasty and not worth $2. Drink packages are okay but I couldnt even get a long island . To anyone CHECK THE PRICES FOR FOOD. A total scam and they should not price gouge for finger foods. I would never go or recommend this place to anyone.

2021-10-26Been partying my whole life and the experience here was one of the best! The bartenders can make the tastiest shots and cocktails even during peak hours. Will comeback soon to see the lovely staffs again!!

2022-05-29I love this place!! I’m here every weekend for the drinks and the music. Andrea and Jerry are great bartenders and Kris, Liz, Annie, and Max give excellent customer service. I have brought my friends here a few times and since then they too have become regulars. The Spot is my favorite place in Ktown and I strongly believe you should pay it a visit and you’ll understand why I love this place.

2022-04-16I enjoy myself for the most part at the spot. The drinks were great and the service was okay but the hiding fees that are not posted on the website left a nasty taste in my mouth. We use a private room and as posted on the website, we had to pay 30 per person an hour. Upon arriving they tell us we have to purchase a min of 50 dollars of drink for each hour in the private room. Again this is not posted on the website and we felt blindsided by this request.

2022-02-20Honestly, a super fun place. It was absolutely amazing, but above all, the customer service was out of this world. Can’t highlight how much Kris helped us. She even helped our friend find their way over the phone to The Spot when they got lost! 100% recommend
