Loved this hotel and can’t wait to stay here again. We were surprised with the customer service and kind staff. They went above what any other staff has ever offered. We stayed at The Plaza and switched over to The Edition mid way through our trip. In comparison, The Edition was a much better experience with a much lower price. Side note: standard rooms are very small(wasn’t an issue for me) and noise levels can be high depending on where your room is located and what events are going on.
The Edition is 10 out of 10. Location cannot be better, room is relatively small but luxuriously furnished. I felt very welcomed as a titanium elite, they gave me the best view for Times Square. Also the late check out was no problem. We’ve been to several Edition properties in Europe and the standard is the same. Best bed we’ve ever slept in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you close the curtains you can totally relax, the windows and doors are soundproof.
Beautiful hotel with a Times Square city view- despite theres a construction site right in front of the hotel, which can a bit noisy in day time. All staffs including doormen were very friendly and helpful- I was having a really terrible day from horrible horrible experiences from Arlo midtown, but the kindness of staffs here put me in a good mood again!Only little things that room keys didnt work a few times and a staff wasnt aware of gold member benefit but they sorted it out right away very kindly.City king room was spacious for NY hotel and the interior is very modern and clean. Loved the breakfast restaurant, so green and pretty!
The stars are to recognize the staff and the location is excellent. The rooms are TINY!! Seriously, 240 square feet is extremely small once you are in the space. We couldn’t sit at the counter with the laptop and use the chair provided as our head would be too high to see the screen. We had to use the ottoman and put the laptop on the sideways trash can. We made it work but clearly this is not a hotel for anyone who would want to work. The shower is a waterfall or slide bar hand held and I didn’t like the shower at all. It is sort from the toilet and the heavy glass doors were challenging in such a small space. We were on the 36th floor so while we didn’t hear anything you do have the lights from Times Square flashing all night and illuminating the room. Thankfully we had eye masks to help out. Overall we won’t return and recommend this hotel if you don’t mind very small spaces, minimal accommodations and a gray location near Times Square.
On 05/20/22 we will be checking in with my wife for our first year wedding anniversary. We haven’t even put a foot inside the hotel but we are already excited because we know it will be a wonderful and magical experience. I have talk with Livia and explained her our situation and she was the most understanding and helpful person in the world. Thank you so much for everything you will do for us and we are counting the days and hours to be in the hotel.I will keep you posted with pictures and our experience.Thank you Livia
It is so unbelievable that a hotel in the heart of New York can have such a bad customer service and unprofessional. We have been visiting New York with family a few days ago and we booked the room two months ago. The hotel looked very nice and luxurious on photos and we were very excited to stay there. However, we were very disappointed once we arrived. First of all the floor of the lobby was very dirty and smelled very bad. Additionally, the most epic moment was when we started our conversation with their front desk. They were very rude and did not want to answer to the questions that we had. After that their revenue manager came in whose name was Andrew Howard and started to yell at us saying that we can get refund of our money if we cancel our hotel room. This is very unacceptable and we do not understand how people like them can work in this hotel and ruin the reputation of it. I am very unsatisfied.
How does a five star hotel not have its parking or valet then you have to carry your own bags to the hotel. This is not the experience I expected…Update: The hotel is nice, the higher floor with Times Square View is breathtaking. This hotel is worth the price. The rooms are clean and small but it’s NYC!
The room was very small and made it difficult to store two suitcases. However, we really enjoyed the hotel especially the gym overlooking Times Squares as well as the two bars/clubs. The staff also went above and beyond. After finding out we got engaged that night, we had champagne brought up to our room which helped to make the night very special.
We loved this hotel! Nicole at check in desk was very friendly and upgraded our room to Times Square view. The room service staff was very friendly and prompt! The room was very cozy and we loved the ambient lighting. Room and bedding were clean! The view was better than we could have imagined and we enjoyed being able to open the window when we wanted to feel closer to all the action! Couldn’t have asked for better for our first trip to NYC! 😊
Hotel was gorgeous and staff was super nice! the beds and pillows however were not too comfortable. the walls are also thin so we could always hear the room next to us which was especially loud with families. however the front desk compensated us for this issue with credit to their restaurant which was delicious and beautiful! location is perfect for getting home after a late broadway show, but the one way street is often slow for ubers to arrive.
The staff were amazing ! Friendly and helpful! Clean rooms. Small but elegant! Close proximity to Times Square. Only negative was huge parking debacle. Driving around for 40 min trying to find a garage and then picking up the vehicle the garage the hotel offered a discount-did not honor the discount. So, the main issue was parking attendant and fees.
We had an excellent experience!Great location for what we were looking to see in New York: The hotel is located in Times Square, and is just a few minutes walk to Rockafeller Center and Broadway Plays (Aladin, Lion King, etc.).Great Staff: The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. For example, we parked at a nearby parking garage and a member of the concierge staff (Jerome) walked with us to the remote parking garage so we did not have to navigate back to the hotel to pick up our luggage.Rooms: The rooms were small, but clean and well designed for their size. We were fortunate to have a Times Square View which made for an amazing view from the room.Overall, a great experience.
First time staying at The Edition Times Square. I have stayed at The Edition London.PROS: Nice lobby. Great location for seeing Broadway shows. Comfy bed.CONS: Was placed on the side of the hotel with construction/constant drilling. Water never seemed to get hot in shower. Bathroom sink leaked causing all bath towels to get wet on 2 separate occassions (maintenance tried to fix twice). Hotel safe was malfunctioning (took 3 employees to fix it). Carpet under bed was dirty. Area around toilet had dried pee that was very evident. Had to ask cleaning staff to give floor a good cleaning. Disgusting. Halls seemed run down.
Pros:Friendly, professional and caring staff.Very clean and new rooms with luxury ligthing options with great TV and channel selectionLuxurious feel of nature-modern with a trendy NYC nightclub in the hotelRooms are very well isolated from any noisesLocation is 100% and really in Time SquareNot too expensiveGreat Terraces and facilities for lunch, hanging out, etc.Overall one of the best hotels in Manhattan without any doubtsCons:No poolBasic Rooms are on the small side and would recommend having a bigger room. This is the only hotel I have stayed in New-York that I would seriously consider going back to even though I like to change each time to discover new hotels. It was that good !In conclusion: book your stay at this hotel without thinking twice but get a bigger room than the basic rooms.
Stopped in for a quick cocktail to view the space. I have never been in the edition at Times Square and it was visually stunning. The Orchard cocktail was delightful with pleasant bartender service. While there I was approached by two employees, Riley and Andrew. They patiently answered all my inane questions about the space. They were professional, personable and hospitable. I will certainly be back.
Pros: Corner king with balcony was spacious and curated for thoughtful layout and cozy vibes. Soaking tub was amazing. The room was very nice— but the white couch was dirty. The cover needs to be replaced.Cons: I was disappointed at the lack luster check in. I wasn’t even greeted in the bottom level lobby, sort of wandered up to the 10th floor. Woman who checked me in certainly is not a 5 star concierge, she seemed bothered I was checking in- I receive five star service at other hotels. Greeted when checking in, bags brought to room, amenities explained, and an escort to the elevator to press the button and see me off wishing me a great stay. Nothing like that here. For $1250/night I expected more. Room service was fine, prompt, and the four encounters I had with staff coming to my room were beyond pleasant- they should be working the front desk! Amenities don’t exist here.. the gym is fine, no sauna, steam room, spa, no peloton bikes or similar. The last con would be the limited care they took while the club was open downstairs. This is a five star hotel, I came back in at 4am (as you do in NYC when things don’t get started until midnight) and the first level lobby/entrance was full of trash, drunk club patrons, some fighting, it was strange. Obviously no on site parking or valet option sucks for people who are willing to pay it. Garage down the street doesn’t really do much when you have loads of luggage to haul. I would consider staying here again for the corner room; for the right price- otherwise, there are better options in Times Square with better service and more amenities.
My choice of hotel was based on its location and Im usually not bothered by poor service. In this case, though, mistakes and oversights were frequent and unacceptable.1. Room had an unpleasant smell.2. The staff at the lobby bar were among the rudest and worst-trained Ive ever encountered. It took 40 minutes for our order to be taken, and we asked for it 6 times.3. During checkout, the bill wasnt correct. And we contact their manager Andrew Howard. He seemed shocked and said that he will contact us soon, but we waited almost an hour and when I called him, I only reached his voice mail, and the lobby workers said that he is not answering to their calls too.The worst part, in my opinion, was Andrew not doing his job. and it’s not funny! If you want to have a great time, stay away from this hotel!
Perfectly located at Times Square with impeccable service and extremely friendly staff. The hotel is truly a 5 star hotel. Rooms are the size of rooms you usually expect in New York. Its a great hotel to stay if you are a tourist in New York. It has a great Michlen Star restaurant within the building and a nice Lobby Bar. I will be back soon.
Big City Hotel. For a quick business trip this place is perfect. Rooms are clean and modern, staff very professional, right in Times Square. But, very loud bright. If you need quiet to sleep bring a sound machine you will need it. For business this place served its purpose well.
Staff friendly, location solid. My room was missing an entire curtain and had trash in the bins and items from the fridge missing upon my arrival. Ill update this to less stars if i get charged...I couldnt draw the curtains enough at 1130 to sleep so called to figure out why. Maintenance found out one was missing so they had to move me rooms. 45 minutes later i finally got my key for my new room and then was asked to move my stuff. I argued no it was past midnight. They let me keep it there that night but I ended up getting to bed around an hour 15 later than preferred.Room quality and amenities were nice, servicing was great.
If you like small rooms that are very noisy and intrusive and trip over furniture, this is perfect. There’s no valet but you can park two blocks away and walk to this supposed 5 star hotel. The hallways have cracks and poor paint jobs.Front desk Service is phenomenal. It’s what you would expect from a five star Marriott hotel. They went above and beyond and are sincerely appreciated to help us checkout within 10 mins of arrival.
No matter what city you’re in, you can always count on The Edition to make your stay worthwhile! Even though I live in NYC, I like to treat myself every now and then to a staycation and almost always choose The Edition to fulfill all my needs. On my most recent stay, I was blown away by the thoughtfulness and care of Dennis Benjamin who works in Guest Experience. He was so polite and professional and wanted to make sure I gave him the praise and recognition he deserves.Fun fact: there are 2 Editions in NYC in very different neighborhoods. Check them out!
I came to NYC to propose to my girlfriend and The Time Square Edition went above and beyond for us during our stay. Our first night there was a delay on the check in and they provided us a credit for the time and a free round at the bar. The Bartenders were super friendly and great mixologist. Ashley brought us a complementary bottle of champagne and gave us some of the best service we have ever had. We stayed in the corner suite on the 24th floor and the view was amazing. I would 100% recommended staying here.
Overrated. Overpriced. Matchbox sized rooms. Unfriendly staff. Douche-y frat-bro vibes in the lobby and dining area. I would rather go to a club at a lower price. All the fancy looking photos are from common areas or executive suites. Not the room YOU are likely going to get.Only thing works is its location if you want to be in mid-town.Save your money. Find a better hotel. There are hundreds in Manhattan including Midtown if thats your jam
I would like to start and say that stay away from this hotel because they have no idea what customer service is.They were not aware of essential human communication and mistreated my group and me.Before flying out to New York, I got very sick. I was transferred to the ICU and didn’t have the chance to call in to cancel. After I got out of the hospital, I called but no one accommodated me, I spoke with Andrew Howard and treated me as if I asked them to give me their money. They didn’t even work with me to understand my situation. Please learn human decency and understand that there could be unforeseen circumstances in life.
Great experience here! We stayed here for the times square experience and it did not disappoint. Check in on the 10th floor. The concierge was so nice and helpful. The room was good size, we had a times square view which was perfect. There is no ice machine on the floor which I thought was odd, but call the front desk and they deliver it to the room. For some reason they only put one robe and slippers in the closet so that was weird. The lighting in the rooms was nice and easy to control. The ac never really got to the temp we set 67⁰ for some reason it wouldnt go lower than 70⁰. The bar on the 10th floor was nice. It has an outdoor section to sit on and enjoy a drink while watching over times square which was nice. The drinks were pricey and not spectacular. The restaurant with an outdoor overlook sounded great, but the outdoor park wasnt open during our stay. I did enjoy the Nespresso machine in the room. The fridge was okay, didnt really make things cold. I thought it was nice that they have steamers in the room. Overall this was a great place to stay right on times square. Highly recommend!
The only thing that was a negative was the room size other than that the services was impeccable the ombiance was incredible the aroma was just breath taking everyone was very professional and knowledgeable of their jobs very attentive to our needs. I can wait to return in October and were staying again at the hotel best Ive ever seen well as experienced.
How can this hotel still be in business with such horrible customer service? This hotel is located at the Times Square but is not aware how professional hotels operate. Please teach your employees how to talk to people and listen, especially the revenue manager Andrew Howard who nod even know what is customer service.I had a terrible experience with hotel employees screaming at me just because I asked few extra questions.I had to find a new hotel in the middle of the night and if you ever been to New York you know that it is mostly impossible.Stay away from this place.
* First of all, nobody was waiting downstairs to greet us or take our bags when we arrived, but at least bag carts were available on the ground floor, so we grabbed one and took our luggage to the lobby on the 10th floor.* On 10, after waiting in line for about 5 minutes to check in, a bellhop noticed us and told us that “for liability reasons,” we couldn’t handle the carts, so he would have to bring it up with us. Fine, I wish he had been down below and done the actual work to earn the tip, but whatever. For the record, I firmly believe this to be a bald-faced lie, because if the hotel were actually worried about liability they wouldn’t leave the carts alone on the ground floor. Plus, all the other Marriott properties that DO let you use the carts? So stupid.* Then, when we finished checking in, he was nowhere to be found and our bags were still sitting on the cart, so we said screw it and carried our bags up ourselves, without the cart. We had multiple delays getting to the hotel and didn’t want to wait anymore.* Also, during the check-in, despite having reserved the room with my Bonvoy Amex, which was on-file, but not on my person, and having used this method to pay for MANY rooms over the years and having just used the physical card for incidentals, Edition refused to do this and said the full charge would go on my physical card, which deprived me of a fair number of points.* The room was tiny, despite my Titanium status upgrade capability, and even had a sub-par, squeaky inner-spring mattress. It didn’t keep the street noise out, either. It could use some serious upgrades and soundproofing to deserve 5-star status. Finally, despite it only getting up to 80 degrees outside that day, the AC couldn’t cool the room down to 70.* On the plus side the Le Labo toiletries are fantastic and if you’re looking for a centrally located, downtown hotel, the location (and view from a high floor) can’t be beat. You’re a short walk from 5th Ave, Madison Ave, Broadway, Rockefeller, Grand Central, etc…
The hotels customef service was a joke. Me and my wife arrived to check in and all of our payment methods were declined ( 5 credit cards from 3 diffefent banks). The receptionist treated us as if we were trying to scam them and asked us to call our banks. We repetatively kindly asked them to check their processing of payments but we were being ignroed and told to call our bank. We checked our online banking and no transactions were received from the hotel. We tried to explain this to the conceirge and staff but we received a condesending response. It was until all of the other customers payment methods got declined they noticed the problem was on their end. So much for a 5-star hotel service. If you dont want to be humiliated upon checking in, go somewhere else.
So I booked at Edition times square few days ago, I was very excited for my trip, but after the first day it looked like that they DID NOT care abbout their guests. After the first night unbelievable incident happened. I was sleeping and they HAVE SENT ANOTHER GUEST TO MY FING ROOM. I have never heard anyting like that. How can a hotel in time square have made a horrible system mistake like that. After that happened, the workers were nice and apologized but I did not want to stay at that hotel anymore as such thing is unbearable and unacceptable. So I contacted the revenue manager Andrew Howard to get a refund for making such mistake and I was disgusted from that hotel and could not stay there any longer. Besides ruining my long awaited trip, after I tried to get a refund which I think anyone should get a refund for that. So after explaining the situation to Andrew Howard he hung up on me!!!!! I WAS SHOCKED!!!! I TRIED CALLING BACK and he picked up after the 10th call. I wanted to get his supervisor but he was very rude and told me that there is noone above him and he is in charge. He called me crazy and did not even try to apologize for the incident that happened. HOW CAN SOMEONE LIKE THIS BE A REVENUE MANAGER!!!! He called me crazy and hang up on me and blocked my number. I have tried to email and he would not respond to any. This is just unacceptable how can a hotel in time square have a service like this and not even try to fix their mistakes. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL because in case of any incident forget about getting a service or even a sorry from the management.
Hotel accommodated a last-minute request for an accessible room and recommended an electric wheelchair rental company and facilitated its drop off and pick up - needed due to a snowboarding injury :( The room itself was fine (just for myself) but would be cozy for 2. Like many hotels now, shower vs. bathtub is the standard unfortunately. Food was fairly pricey. Make sure you ask lots of questions to avoid surprises - eg. brunch on terrace is not an outside terrace as the word terrace generally implies...Id stay here again. Location for theatre is ideal - you are RIGHT in Times Square, for better and worse :)
Worst service. Dont know how to treat clients. no customer service at all. Didnt resolve any issues I have had while staying here, and also they charged me more for something I have not used, and when trying to contact the revenue manager Andrew Howard did not event respond to any of my messages. If you get any financial problems with this hotel forget about it being resolved.
This property has really lost its touch. Andrew at the front desk tried to give us a runaround. Said that even though we are arriving in 30 minutes and want to book, he could not hold a certain category of room for us until we are physically in front of him. This hotels rooms are not amazing by any stretch, but considering their service is also horrendous, theres no reason to even consider it any more.
Staff here are incredible. Location is very handy being in the center of Times Square but rooms are still an oasis from the busyness downstairs, from the comfy beds, incredible robes, great sound system - everything in the room is modern and well thought of. Food here is great (amazing fries), and the lobby bar and Paradise club are so nice to have in the hotel for when you want to socialize and go somewhere trendy. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
Overall, the hotel was an excellent choice for our stay. Nice location right off Times Square and (surprisingly) very quiet. Service was very good, and rooms were lovely (enjoyed the fur throw in our room). We were delayed being able to check into our room by an hour, and were told that we could wait in the lounge (which was not in service) - would have appreciated a suggestion of where to grab a bite since we had just come off the train. Additionally, would have appreciated the bar serving food in addition to drinks. Other than that, a very pleasant stay, and look forward to returning.
The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the food (both at the Terrace and room service) was fabulous. However, it’s the staff that sets this hotel apart. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful, from recommending the best pizza place to getting a cab for us when it was pouring out. One woman who worked at the restaurant even waived to us when she saw us walking on the street. They seem as happy to be there as we were! I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I LOVED this place. The location is perfect for going to the theatre, and yet the rooms (with fabulous views) are quiet. The facility is hip and cool, with a lovely restaurant and lounge area. But what I loved most is they staff - they are so kind and considerate and make you feel like you are being welcomed into their home. I had arrived on a red-eye for a funeral and lost my wallet at the New York airport. I didnt realize until I was checking in and reached into my purse. It was late and I was embarrassed and a little sad from the funeral. But Vlad kindly made sure I could get dinner and a good nights sleep until my wallet could be retrieved the next day (thankfully, it was). He extended himself in a way I will never forget and I could not be more grateful to him and to Daniel the manager and to the entire staff. I stayed a few more days and it was a wonderful, wonderful experience. The service could not have been more genuine or personal from everyone there. Its the kind of thing where you know it is both training and the selection of great people. Way to go! I wish I could give 10 stars!
I loved my stay here. From the location, the food, the drinks and the overall mood you get upon arrival makes it very appealing. The rooms are modern and beds very comfortable. I was particularly impressed with this hotels fitness center. Also, the hotel staff are extremely courteous. I highly recommend the Times Square Edition; you will not be disappointed.
Our family had a great stay and this location was a great hub to meet up with other family and friends. The rooms have a modern urban vibe, with the trademark faux fur throw and great ambient lighting. It was extremely clean, the staff was exceptional, and the rooms are soundproofed nicely (not as typical in many NYC hotels). Both the Terrace restaurant and Lobby Bar were also great hits with our crew.
Seriously the place is amazing; from the views from the room or the lounge restaurant or bar...its all upper-class and trendy. The staff is on point and definitely top rated. From the moment you get to the front door to your room, you wont be disappointed. Would i do again..YES IN A HEART BEAT...Your Literally and I mean Literally on Times Square. Stop at the Concierge and they can handle all your request. ..This place makes NYC shine...Looking forward to going back THERE...SO WORTH IT YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED...
Found this hotel last minute due to extending our stay in New York. I have to say, one of the best Marriott Bonvoy hotels. Once you walk into the hotel, you can feel like youre going to have a great stay. Excellent choice of smell!Amazing customer service, gave us a room with an awesome view.Super clean, spacey, plenty of towels, well designed compared to other NYC hotels.Comfortable mattress, especially after three days of non-stop walking.Only thing Id say is to update the grout in the shower tiles.
Wow wow wow. The Times Square Edition was absolutely phenomenal! I booked my most recent NYC trip to see some of Broadways reopening shows, and nearly every theater was within a 5 minute walk from the property. The rest of Times Square was also within a convenient walking distance. The room itself was superb - I booked a double bed room to share with a family member. Comfortable beds, attentive housekeeping, fantastic view...I could go on and on! The restaurant on the 9th floor was great for brunch and evening dessert at the bar. The lobby bar was also great after an evening Broadway show. The staff members manning the front doors were always very sociable - they even provided us umbrellas when it started raining on our last morning. I cant say enough good things about my stay. I will always want to stay here during my future trips!
Reservations was good. Td reservations that we were celebrating our 20th anniversary but there was no mention of this during our stay. We had the daily breakfast included in our reservation and had to remind the front desk during our check-in and remind the hostess when we went to have our breakfast.Had trouble finding the Hotel because the entrance is not on 7th Ave. Hotel decor in the elevator and front desk areas is very earthy and dark. The room 3802 has white washed walls with one single small black and white picture on one wall. Dont like this minimalist decor approach. The breakfast and dining areas are both decorated pleasantly with a lot of greenery trying to bring the outdoors inside.Breakfast each day was good as well as the in-room dining since the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner.Conceiage was not friendly or helpful when asked for local dining places one night, finally used our phone search to find a dinner spot. The bell men who man the front entrance and handle our luggage were friendlier and more helpful than the Conceiage. Eventhough this Hotel has only been open for 1 year the leather is cracking and has wear marks and the wicker chairs in the breakfast area are coming apart. We have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong and was spoiled with this 5 Star service.
Checking in was smooth. Friendly enough.Staff at the front door on the first floor very friendly. Room service staff very friendly. Overall an 8. But then you go to the bar. Pow, your whole hotel experience is destroyed. Come to the bar. Sit down at a table. Bar tender nods. Great. Super excited to have a drink. Twenty minutes go past. No one comes over. 25 minutes the guy picking up the glasses says he will get a server. I watch as the frumpy brunette with her attitude chats to the other server. I see Dante point at my face saying I need to order. Dante pleasant as he is apologizes and I ask him to take my order! An hour of sitting there. No drink! Obviously upset I go up to the bar tender and no apology, waitress asks what’s wrong! Both the bar tender and waitress simply don’t care. What’s one upset customer to them! The bar tender and waitress made my stay so uncomfortable that I hated ever coming back to my room. Awful
EDITION Times Square is a beautiful hotel with their exclusive Le Labo scent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size. There is always a lot of construction around the hotel which is a little annoying. And Times Square can be noisy late at night on weekends. Also, note that you have to take two different elevator banks to get to your room --also annoying but the rooms are worth the adventure. The hotel restaurant has a good menu and the bars are very nice. The lobby bar on 10th floor has a good vibe and attracts a good crowd.

2022-04-09Fabulous hotel in a very central Midtown location on Times Square. The basic rooms are very small so difficult if you have lots of luggage and also have glass toilets and showers, so not very private. We upgraded to a to a large suite which was fabulous, very roomy and had a separate bathroom. The staff were super helpful and nothing was too much to ask for. The breakfast was also great.

2022-06-27The staff at this hotel were very friendly, very accommodating, very welcoming. Possibly the best service Ive ever had at a hotel. We were in NYC on a trip celebrating out 25th wedding anniversary - the staff put a framed photo from our wedding in our room! The room itself was bright, modern and clean. The location is steps away from Times Square and just a block from Broadway - hard to beat. We had drinks on the outdoor patio at sunset, which was just beautiful, and an amazing meal at the Terrace Restaurant. This was a great place to stay - Ill go back!

2022-06-26Stayed here with the wife for one night on Friday 6/24. I am Marriott platinum - used a free night that was about to expire. Great location right on Times Square. Perfect location if you are seeing a Broadway show, which we did (Mr Saturday Night - terrific show, with Billy Crystal). Got 1,000 points at check-in - no breakfast option. Was not offered an upgrade. Rooms are small - make that very small - but very modern and clean. Bed was firm but comfy. Terrace restaurant has a good but expensive breakfast. Try the skillet cake with lemon zest-infused ricotta. Excellent. All hotel associates we encountered were helpful and courteous.

2022-05-06Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Absolutely loved it! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It’s right at Time Square with vibrant city lives. The hotel room is small but very clean and modern. The view from my 34 floor window was fantastic. The service was excellent. Everyone I encountered was super nice, always greeting with smiles. Highly recommend!

2022-06-05I had the pleasure of staying at The Times Square Edition in May with my girlfriend. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing all around! Everyone went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable and treated us first-class. Andrew at the main desk was especially accommodating and professional. He went out of his way to ask if we were celebrating anything in particular in order to make our short stay memorable! Allen was by far the friendliest and most professional bellman weve ever encountered. Jay also provided us with exceptional service, patience, and professionalism. We travel a lot and love Marriott, but this hotel will be a MUST for us when in NYC.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Times Square area. Thanks again Andrew, Allen, and Jay for making this trip special for us.

2022-02-17Amazing service and great hotel. The fantastic people that work here really make it stand out. Andrew went above and beyond when we checked in. Everyone else was super friendly and helpful. The lobby and bar area is top notch. The standard rooms are not huge but nice size by NYC standards. Location was phenomenal, and easy walk to a lot of stuff. Thank you times square Edition!

2022-03-24A very expensive restaurant and bar. They have some really good drinks but i am not sure about the food that if i would spend that much on the type of food they provide. The quantity is less and its just basic.Visited once and not sure if i would go back again. The ambiance and environment was good. Very friendly and nice staff. The view of the city is mesmerizing from the rooftop. Definitely pick a good weather day if you are planning to sit outside!!

2022-04-07One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Great service and interiors are mind blowing. Our room was on 36th floor and we had partial times square view. Room itself is designed really well and gives you very cozy feeling. Front desk folks were great during check-in and checkout. There was complimentary coffee and water in the room. Only thing is theres a building constructions going on next to the hotel so it might be noisy during the day but we only stayed for one night. Overall great experience and if I get a chance I would definitely stay here again.

2022-03-25BAD EXPERIENCE: PREJUDICED AND UNPREPARED STAFFThe hotel is clean, well located and has a good structure. However, it is easy to see the lack of preparation and lack of training and management of employees. If on the one hand some are kind, others are disrespectful and prejudiced. At breakfast, for example, the main waiter who was serving the mornings of March 18, 19 and 20 (unfortunately I dont know his name) is rude and prejudiced. That person lacks a lot of training and management. Serves rudely, without looking at the customer. In an aggressive tone of voice. Its so gross its impossible to describe. I should have filmed that. When he realized that my wife and I were Latinos, when I asked a question about the menu, he aggressively answered: Look at you guys, the cheapest are those. I wasnt even talking about money, and my breakfast was included in the reservation. At the front desk, something very similar happened. The attendant, Miss NICOLE, a young woman in her early 20s. Desperate, monosyllabic, rude, arrogant. Horrible.I suggest you guys train your employees more and manage their behavior with customers. The service must always be with a smile on the face and seeking to kindly meet the demands of customers. Please managers and owners, think about that!IF YOURE LATINO, DONT GO TO TIMES SQUARE EDITION: THEY ARE PREJUDICED, BAD TRAINED AND ARROGANT.It was one of the worst experiences weve ever had.

2022-04-24Okay the hotel is so nice & the staff is AMAZING. I’m 8 months pregnant & came to stay for my baby shower. Being pregnant walking Times Square is a work out so you already can imagine how walking around in Times Square is lol. Everyone at the hotel was accommodating & super helpful with my bags & luggage. Staff was also very informative on how to get to their affiliated parking garages. The front desk attendant lady was so helpful with getting my ticket validated since my link got messed up. Everything was great I loved my staff. Staff is super nice pleasant and helpful. If you’re pregnant you will be taken care of staying here. Will recommend
