RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Three times I have been here and the same worker is just a snotty individual. The first time I thought maybe she’s just having a bad day. I let it go, two times after same attitude. If you don’t like your job go elsewhere. When I managed retail her miserable self would’ve been fired. You need better staff!
Ive always had good experiences at this store. I particularly want to single out Noel (who Im pretty sure is the manager.) I could not be more impressed with how he handles himself and conducts business. Hes always super helpful, professional and courteous. In a world where people are quick to bang out a negative review when they have a bad experience, we need to remember to commend those who are a pleasure to deal with and who do their job well. Thank you Noel!
Beware** I shipped a phone only to find out it never left the store and disappeared. then had attempted ACH Charges from PayPal from the auto log on that phone days after it went Missing🙄😡😡!Drive a few more minutes if you value your things 😉 Also was told at another local ups store that store#3639 is infamous for disappearing phones
I have been doing business in this particular store for many years and have never had an issue until today. I was conducting my transaction with one of the cashiers and a second cashier was waiting on another customer at the other register, when she turned to us and said can you keep it down? I cant hear her needless to say i was shocked! Its possible that either the cashier or my voice were louder than normal, but our masks may have played a part in that. As well as the other customer not speaking up enough to be heard.I have never ever been talked to like that while giving my money to a business. I thought it was extremely out of line. You can judge for yourself.
Went to UPS Store to return a package to the shipper. The shipper had not sent me the proper pre-paid label, so I was shocked when the manager of the store told me the charge for shipping. He was very kind, said he had dealt with this problem before, and asked if I had the shippers phone number, suggested calling them and having them email the UPS store the proper label. I did as he said, and within 5 minutes I was out the door, smiling! Thank you for your excellent customer service!One small suggestion, install an automatic door into your business for customers with heavy or large packages!☺
The service from this store amazed us. While typically we expect to get what we paid for, rarely does it work out so well. To explain:We needed to ship some valuable artwork to Florida. These pieces were glass enclosed. Our first thought was to the moving company we had used previously and after a quote of several thousand dollars began investigating other options. FedEx, other movers, freight companies and then spotting an ad from the UPS store in Westgate we called and after explaining our needs we were contacted by Chris the manger.Chris asked for all dimensions, a rough idea of weight and values we wanted for insurance. He then called back with a quote in the $700 range that was broken down by component so we could pick and choose options if desired. We were happy with the comparative low cost and took the entire package.We choose to have the items picked up at our home, crated and advised when to have them delivered to Florida. Christian and a helper personally picked up exactly when scheduled, called us when prepared for shipment and on the date we had asked them to ship they did so and emailed us a tracking number so we could follow the shipments progress.As is typical of UPS the shipment arrived exactly as scheduled, 3 days Albany to Florida via ground. But then we began to realize just how good this store is. The quoted price of $300 for building a protective crate did not close to explaining what we got. Each piece of artwork inside had multiple layers of protection, sticky paper on the glass to prevent scratches, plastic wrap, paper, bubble, Styrofoam and of course the wooden crate itself. Every piece arrived in perfect condition.We highly recommend this UPS store and its staff for any shipping needs.
Ive had mixed customer service experiences at this store. Some of their staff have been down-right unprofessional to me in the past: I have two recent examples:1. One lady was helping a customer package up what appeared to be a care-package for the college bound kid, and was taking a very long time. She was modifying the box in a weird sort of way with packing tape that frankly didnt make a bit of sense. When I suggested a better way, she got defensive. Honestly she was a bit of a mess. She probably took 15 minutes to do this.2. Another time I brought a package to mail to a friend, only to find out I sent it to the wrong address and had to go back in 30 minutes later to retrieve it. The gentleman behind the counter made all sorts of weird comments and started inquiring about the content of my package and why I wanted it back. I told him it was none of his business. Completely unprofessional.
Old staff which were good replaced a few months ago, closure must be covid related... usually crowded with more customers than cdc guidelines, agents wear masks but not gloves so not surprised and no hand sanitizer at counter or exit... had switched to another location because of this, glad i did!
I wouldnt even give this store a star. We drove over an hour away and we called the store up with a few mins of closing and spoke the one of the workers and asked if we would be able to drop it off for shipping on Monday and they said as long as we are in the store we can do it. Well let me tell you, we pulled up and they were still inside and darted out the back door because they saw my wife and I pull up. Never seen someone run so fast in my life after stating if we are still in the store. Right that sure happened. Not. I hope you guys dont get anymore business in that store.
I order a lot of things online and eBay several times a week so Im in quite often. The staff is very helpful, courteous and know the meaning of good customer service. In the future I plan on starting a business so I plan on using even more of their services. Thank you!
I was at this UPS store today and I needed to send out a very important package to my mother and I was surprised by the level of customer service I received.The package was quite fragile and was wrapped very well. I would recommend anyone with fragile packages to come to this UPS store as they take an extraordinary amount of time ensuring your package is secure.
Incredible service. My wife and I shipped a very valuable guitar to a repair shop in new york...only problem was the repair shop employee emailed us the wrong zip code (brooklyn instead of manhattan). I noticed it today when checking the tracking and called the ups store for help. They got off the phone with me immediately, contacted the driver before he delivered the package, and were able to fix the address for us before it was too late. The zip code mix up was not at all the UPS stores fault- but they got on it right away and solved the problem. Thanks UPS store!
New Review 07/19/2018: Changing it from 5 to 3 star because of my over-the-phone conversation from today. I called about a package that wasnt delivered but I got online notification that it will be dropped at this Access Point. The lady (Lateya? apologies for murdering the name) was very polite on the phone when she answered, but when I tried to explain that I was JUST trying to find out if it will get there today or tomorrow (as drivers sometimes drop off undelivered packages to Access Point same day SOMETIMES), she didnt get what I was saying and kept telling me to refer to my infonotice and that she doesnt know where the package was. I explained to her, I have all the info as Im an online UPS customer, and I get all notifications, she completely dismissed that and said Do you have the Infonotice number with you or not? The driver left note on it and thats what it is.At this point, it felt like she was being difficult when she shouldnt be, so I asked her if shes not able to track packages using tracking numbers, and she said okay I can it will just show me its in transit, I didnt respond because I knew she completely misunderstood the purpose of my call and didnt want to lose my patience. Once she looked into it, she said Oh okay, it was attempted delivery today, but will be left at this store for pickup by tomorrow. I replied Thats ALL I was looking to find out.Please dont try to be a smartass with your customers. Listening skills are important. Im sure you guys get a lot of customers who might call and ask for info that you dont have, but try to take some time, listen to each sentence before answering. Ive used Fedex, UPS, USPS since my college days and I know what is possible to track and what info can be acquired.Old Review: On point every time, whether it is picking up, or getting things delivered to me. And awesome staff also!!!
Horrible. Called and it rang for 20 mins. Drove 15mins to the location stood at the front desk rang the bellbell the people in the back laughing said front desk person isnt working then continued laughing. I voiced loadly I havent been helped a lady with an attitude approached me shoved me my package and walked away! Dont take my signature for receiving the package or nothing . I will never do business with this place ever again .

2022-06-23I started going to this UPS store as a favor to a neighbor who gets his artwork printed there but couldnt leave the house on account of Covid. The staff was so patient and kind, as it was kind of like playing a game of telephones to communicate both with the neighbor and with me. They have a graphic designer on staff who was able to skillfully deal with making sure the prints were exactly what my neighbor wanted. On account of this experience this has become my go to shipping store, and its not even an errand I dread because they staff is so amazing. Sometimes the line gets a bit long, but it moves quickly and efficiently. The other day I saw/overheard the store manager, Jay, treating one his workers with kindness and total respect, which probably says a bit about why the staff here is so strong. Someone tell corporate!

2022-07-22I went to the UPS store Thursday to do a simple Amazon return and my mood instantly soured once I saw the line to the door but going in was a different story. For 5 minutes I watched the best customer service I have seen in a long time. August and Minia moved quickly and efficiently but still managed to have a little laugh and keep things lively. They were no where near intimidated by the crowd and if they were they definitely didn’t show it. They took the time to explain things thoroughly and I was already amazed but then I heard one of them say it had been just the two of them the whole day and that’s what led me to write this review. They quickly helped me with my return and I was on my way. I left out with a better attitude than when I walked in meaning you’ve earned a regular. Give these ladies their props! Great job!

2022-07-19Was trying to ship out a mercari package today and the systems were down told me to go back tomorrow. And now I have to go all the way back tomorrow to ship an an important package. For business purposes. I understand if the systems are down but only one the only person that helped me and my mom said the systems were downwhich was pretty frustrating. 😑

2021-06-26I forgot to ask the girls who were working what their names were, but the two young women on staff on Saturday June 26th were AWESOME! This was the UPS store’s A team, I’ve never seen so many issues handled so quickly and concisely in any store, ever. The cashier who checked me out was helpful, friendly, and professional. This is where I go to ship usually, and I’ve got to say.. whoever was working there today deserves a raise or recognition for their hard work and awesomeness!

2022-01-24I went there prior to Christmas when there was a long line and several customers with multiple packages. The staff remained friendly, calm and helpful. I dont mean to sound cliché, but it was service with a smile.

2021-08-25The staff at the UPS store are incredible. They help you figure out the best options for your shipping and printing needs. The reps are courteous and understand that shipping can be stressful and expensive. I am a regular and often tell others about the UPS store in Westgate for your printing and shipping needs. They are the best at what they do. They definitely do it with customer satisfaction mind. A+++

2021-11-08Horrendous place. Walked in their looking for a box to ship something, was looking around to see if there were boxes available out front. The person behind the counter had someone at the counter and I heard Sir, the line starts there. Didnt realize she was speaking to me because I wasnt waiting in line. She finally looked up and pointed to me and the painted two feel to the left of me and said the line starts over there. Very rude. There was literally no one else waiting in line or anywhere else in the store that it would matter.
