We have dealt with this UPS location for 10 years plus. One of the reasons we have maintained a relationship with this location is the on site staff and management namely George and Aubrey. Both of these individuals are very competent, professional, and customer service orientated. This UPS location provides a number of ancillary services not found at a number of locations. Easy access, plenty of parking, and the UPS brand backing their high service levels. Staff goes above and beyond the standard service expectations and are a pleasure to deal with. Shipping, mail boxes, packing, George and Aubrey will do it all. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!
This UPS store is great! I had the responsibility to ship a huge family Lionel train set to my 1 year old grandson from his 96 year old great-grandfather. I am so grateful that the UPS store owner George Odvarka personally packed it. He went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect while being able to keep the cost down. George and his assistant went the extra mile and they take great pride in the job they do! Wonderful!

I have used this UPS store for several business services, most recently for printing documents. I emailed them to the store ahead of time. My documents were waiting for me when I arrived. It took only a few minutes to check out and the pricing was competitive. I even received an email back confirming a few details about my prints before I arrived to pick them up.The store staff was very friendly. there were several customers in the store when I arrived. He took care of everyone quickly and efficiently. There wasnt a long wait. It seems like the employees in the store, know their business very well and can fulfill customers needs.I will definitely use their services in the future.
I have been a customer of this UPS store for more than two years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every time I go to the store, I will be warmly greeted and my business will be professionally taken care of. My package are always promptly sent and safely received. George and Aubrey are extremely nice people when managing the store. They offer help where they can and sometimes even extend an extra arm out. Deliveries are timely and well-handled and are very considerate and accommodating! Store is well-kept and neat with professional services to help you get things done!
A huge shout out to George and his UPS Store. My company recently utilized his printing services for our benefits open enrollment booklets and they turned out amazing. His communication with us during the layout and printing process was great. He made suggestions to ensure our booklets were the best they could be. Almost 600 copies and only a day later, the booklets were on their way to our employees. Thanks George, great job!
I have been with this UPS store for 10yrs+, helpful, professional, friendly staff. Since I am from Canada, shopping online to have packages shipped to a US address is a common thing to do north of the border. They always take care of my packages till I go and pick it up and answer any questions I have. I can honestly say, I never missed any delivery every since I been with them. Thank you!
This UPS store is amazing, George, the manager has a heart of gold!! I had a mailbox at this store for 6 years, and they always treated me kindly, carried my boxes in and out of the store without even asking!! I was mailing boxes of clothes to Rockport TX, for the victims of Hurricane Harvey, where my sister lives and George offered to pay for the shipping to help out, that was so giving and kind of him!! Great store!!
I have been going to this locations for years and have brought anything from textbook returns to valuables that needed to be shipped. I have NEVER had a negative experience and the two men working, who are always there when I happen to stop in, are phenomenal. I always leave that store with a smile on my face because the employees are the kindest, friendliest, most honest people you could meet. I look forward to every interaction. Most people dread running errands but this errand is a treat for me every time. No matter how long the line, the employees greet everyone and make sure every customer is taken care of with respect in a timely manner. This location is doing it right and their employees are the real stars.
There is a guy named George that works there and he should be fired. You can tell he just hates his job or life in general.I had a package shipped to the UPS Store for pickup. He refused to go look for the package because apparently I cant do that. Ive done it for years without any problems from any of the other employees working there.It got so bad and so uncomfortable that he told me to go look for the package myself. I found it in 30 seconds. I doubt his boss would be too impressed that a customer was in the back room, looking through packages unsupervised.I was considering renting a box for the year but this experience killed that idea.Avoid this place at all cost!
Highly recommend this store! The owner and his employees are such troopers holding down the fort. As a e-commerce business owners, I would want my packages to get to it’s final destination without being lost or damage. They also make my customers extremely happy when the package arrives a day earlier than the tracking estimated date. Also this store is very clean.... that’s a plus!
After 20+years of dealing with this UPS store I can say, unequivocably, the staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. UPS Sheridan Drive has been a big part of our success. Whether a domestic or international shipment, their standards in proper packing exceed our own high standards. As a boxholder, it is so convenient to call from the road, or be alerted about an important delivery.Thank you!
George was a great help as he was able to help my fiancé and I make copies for our wedding invitations and RSVPs. We went to three different locations and ran into different issues as they could not print on our card stock and George easily looked at our card stock and helped us make the copies. I sent out a package “Priority” mail which is advertised as 2-3 business days. Well a week later it still hasn’t been delivered, so I call the UPS store on Sheridan where it was sent out from to see why it hasn’t been delivered yet, he basically tells me priority mail isn’t a guarantee. So I paid $15 dollars EXTRA for it to still not be delivered on time. & there is time sensitive material in there hence the reason I put a rush on sending it out priority in the first place. He basically said I paid more for hope. I’m sorry hope is not good enough I needed my package delivered on time. Why offer the service if it’s not guaranteed ? Or why not explain that before having me spend extra for shipping in the first place.
Look for another UPS Store, run away, and run fast. The owner of this place (George I think) must be bi-polar. He is rude, he has an I am God attitude but he covers his horrible attitude with the biggest fake smile ever, he will even argue you... with a smile. He has zero sense of customer service or investing in customer satisfaction. When he makes a mistake he refuses to admit it, and he has zero flexibility in anything. It isnt just about getting charged for oxygen just for walking in, it is simply about a horrible customer experience and total frustration. UPS isnt to blame, just find another UPS Store, because this one is one to stay away from.
I have had a post office box at the Sheridan Dr. location for over a year. I am very pleased with the professional service and couteous and friendly staff. It like having the personal mail box there, because I feel comfortable knowing that all my mail & packages are in good hands until I pick them up.
Terrible customer service.I brought a box that I hadnt quite fully taped up at home, as I needed to slip a letter inside the package, so left one flap un-taped.At the UPS store, I asked the guy if he could tape that one flap shut, after inserting what I needed to, he said itll be a dollar to use any tape on your box, even that one flap.By comparison, I ship with FedEx a lot, and never have any issues. The agents have even virtually re-taped some of my packages, just because they felt it didnt seem secure enough - and never a charge. Tape is cheap, very cheap.So I walked out of the store, walked into the dollar store next door, bought my own roll of packaging tape (mounted on a dispenser even) - an entire roll - for $1, and taped the flap shut myself. And had basically an entire roll left.I asked them if I could leave it here for other customers to use and they said I could not.Needless to say, Ill be shipping everything with FedEx (who is cheaper on large/heavy items at any rate), and USPS (who is cheaper/faster on lighter/smaller items). I suggest you do the same, and possibly UPS will learn how much money they can LOSE by trying to molest nickels and dimes and entire dollars from their customers. Lost customers, that is.
I am from Puerto Rico, been living here in Buffalo for almost 7 years. When hurricane Maria hit the island I bought batteries, camping stove, lanterns etc to send to my family. I bought a generator for my brother and try to send it through fedex, they were charging $400.00 plus to send a small inverter generator. I went to ups store in Sheridan Dr in Amherst and they send it second day way cheaper than fedex and they delivered as promised, on time. After that we bought a second generator, same as the first one and for some reason ups rejected it, did not send it, I talked to one of the staff member George Odvarka, he went above and beyond trying to help me so my family could receive the generator. He gave me his mobile number, he tracked the generator when they send it again and he called me several times to let me know where the generator was until arrived to my family. I never expected this kind of service, he and his team went above and beyond my expectations by far and way cheaper than fedex. Thank you!! Thank you!!!!
Had a package shipped here that arrived damaged and missing its contents. I was later informed it wasnt shipped through ups and had no insurance/tracking. George was terrible and did absolutely nothing to help or try to resolve the issue or even apologize, he just continued to blame me. I will be avoiding this place at all costs from now on and ups in general.
The guy with tattoo on is a total liar! I requested a tracking number with ups ground and paid a high price just for an envelope. Not just that I couldnt track anything with that number, he also lie to his coworker saying that I didnt want a tracking!!! Working there 14 years doesnt mean you dont make mistakes!!!!

2022-03-11Fantastic experience! I had a very large package I was bringing in, and George was very helpful in assisting me with getting it shipped. They do charge a small fee to tape it up, but that fee is worth it to ensure the large heavy package does not break apart. George was great and help answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Always use this UPS store!

2022-07-15Buyer beware. Overcharged for regular American flag forever stamps. Charged me $14 for 20. Two dollars more than it should have cost. Don’t buy your stamps here. Go to USPS. When looking carefully at my receipts I have been overcharged at this store before for various items. Going forward I will use the Post Office or FedEx.

In that time, George himself, and his staff including the excellent Aubrey, have always been extremely helpful and professional.
