I am very disappointed in the quality of the packing and shipping of my box. Just for the grace of God did the artwork not get damaged.The box was crushed, and very minimal bubble wrap was inside which did not maintain the integrity of the box. Nowhere on the box did it state fragile or anything of that nature. I am going to be very honest, it was very sloppy work.On the plus side, they were very good at communicating with me prior to shipping out the box.I made them aware of my concern but got no response back. That is why I’m posting this review.
I went into the store to mail a simple letter. The kid behind the counter was new and incompetent. After waiting for too long I asked the owner to assist him. The owner, Frank, was defensive and rude. Quoted me over $10 while mimicking me rudely. I took my letter and went to the post office. The person was competent and polite and I sent the letter, with tracking, for 5 dollars. What a rude obnoxious owner of this business. I will be filing multiple complaints on this business.
HUGE shout out to The UPS store inBriarcliff Manor, NY - was so very very pleased had the pleasure of seeing Frank the owner and all his co-workers go above and beyond to help with your needs. I had Jamie help me and I asked him if he could put al the stuff I had sent to my daughter to college he said absolutely and it will be there tomorrow .. it’s great to do with people that go above and beyond and take care of your needs .. ❤️ this store and will ALWAYS SUPPORT!!
I bought a rare large and fragile glass vase from the Benefit Shop Foundation auction, so to remotely arrange collection, appropriate packing and ship internationally to the UK wasnt without concern. However, Frank and his team did a great job despite Covid and the vase arrived safely and very well packed. Communication with Frank was good and somebody always answered the phone. Lois was helpful and re-assuring. I am very happy with the sevice I received so would be happy to use again. Keith
Very unfriendly staff member (looked like the owner) that helped me out today. I walked in with two items to return to amazon and it was my first time ever doing this through the UPS store. As I was unsure about the process, I stepped up to the counter ready to ask what the steps are to correctly return the items I had. Didn’t even get a “hello” or “how can I help you?” Instead, I got a “put the item on the scale”. I started to ask more information about the process and got cut off with another “put it on the scale.” The second item I had didn’t require packaging, as amazon says the UPS store will provide it. I proceeded to ask about the packaging and got hit with another “put it on the scale”. So a tip to that guy: let customers ask questions and say what they need to say instead of rushing them, I was the only one in the store so there was no need for that. This is no way to run a business.
Very pleasant and accommodating owner or manager. He needs to train his packers however. I have never received a professionally packed item in this condition. The item was a 168 year old antique mirror. They wrapped it in bubble wrap taped directly on the piece which was very difficult to remove without damaging the item. It was thrown in a box without additional packing material. The box arrived smashed. Thankfully the mirror did not break. I was expecting a professionally packed 4 pound UPS package for the $65 shipping fee. What I got was a mess.
Frank Marchesano and his team went above and beyond to ensure my package made it to me. I reside in Colorado, and it was difficult to manage the shipping but also the packaging of a product while not being there in person. The team was gracious, proactive, and generally amazing. Thank you all for making the process easier.
UPS Store #5527 owner complaint. ZERO STARS!! The owner at this location, I know he was the owner because he repeatedly told me so, was rude, disrespectful, and refused to take my package because it was UPS Surepost and he wouldnt make any money off of it since it had a prepaid shipping label. He then lectured me on taping the label and box on another package. I stated every other UPS store gladly does that for me and instead of being polite and offering to sell me tape he became condescending and told me that he runs the greatest store and is the best UPS store owner without offering to sell me tape to tape the box. I told him he did not need to speak to me that way and when he continued to I asked him why he was being an ass. He once again informed me that I was just ignorant and continued to insult me as I took my packages to leave. Upon leaving I told him he could go F himself and he responding with numerous obscenities. While I lost my cool at the end he did not have to treat me like a second class citizen because I had prepaid shipping labels. I will never use UPS again.
I dont understand the bad reviews here. Ive been doing business with these guys for many years, my business mailbox is there and i always drop off all my prepaid return items here. They are always friendly, always have some great music on. I almost never have my mailbox key, but they know me on site and immediately grab my mail for me. I cant say enough about these guys, Dean and Rez are great!
After two weeks of back and forth that they were going to pick up and ship an item for me still nothing. This is despite numerous communications and stated dates the package would be shipped. Wasted more time talking to and emailing them than the four hours of driving would have taken to pick it up myself.

2022-07-06Needed 2 earring, 1 necklace shipped from a NY auction house to me in TX. This UPS store charged $21 to ship them in a 6.1/2 inch square box, everything weighing only 11.9 ounces! PLUS an extra $10 to pick it up from auction house-CHARGED ME $31 TOTAL!Auctioneer has over 800 items so im guessing this UPS store gets at least a couple hundred customers from them(=$10 per customer) netting a few thousand dollars alone for picking up the stuff just to ship out.... Shouldn`t charge such high fee ($21) on top of it.Other UPS stores ive dealt with there is either no pickup charge but if they do they don`t charge $10!OVER INFLATED SHIPPING FEES.

2021-12-28Sent my fiancé here to mail a package, do you know they (employees) told her that she couldnt package a package in there, that she had to go outside…. In life imagine going to ups and anyone telling you “you cant package that in here; you have to go outside” just poor customer service

2021-10-19This store is GAS!!! The young man (he’s on the shorter side) helping me inside was very competent in his craft. He looked very sober and excited to work. I am glad to see young passion in the package shipping industry

2021-07-22This store did an excellent job shipping large paintings purchased from a Benefit Foundation auction. They meticulously wrapped each painting in paper and then lots (I mean lots) of bubble wrap. Items arrived without damage and I couldnt be happier.

2021-03-17If you have an Amazon return, I recommend not going to this UPS Store. I dropped-off a DVD for return to Amazon very efficiently in late Feb 2021 and was given receipt with tracking ID. I tracked the package in mid-March 2021 and it was never registered as picked-up in the UPS system and is apparently lost. I called this UPS store and was told to call 1-800-PICK-UPS. I called UPS and also went online at ups.com and was told I had to call this store--oh boy. You get the point. I will not go to this store anymore to ship anything. If I have to use UPS, I will drop it off at main UPS center in my area.

2021-01-14I have left a review of a business only one other time in my life before this. I dropped off some items to be returned to Amazon. The person at the counter (who I later went in and asked if he was the owner - which he was), was so unfriendly to me. I had my items boxed, but had to take them out and give him the items for each return code, I haven’t returned something through Amazon before, so I stepped aside to let someone behind me go while I separated everything on the floor. He grudgingly gave me scissors when I asked to open my box and then asked if I would be much longer, that he had ordered a sandwich at Starbucks and hed like to go get it. I apologized and told him that I was nearly done and mentioned that I had been here much earlier at 8:30 because the website says the store is open at 8:00am. He barked no we open at 9. Just a really unpleasant, unhelpful, unaccommodating and rude attitude which I am surprised about in such a small town and from the owner no less at a time when small businesses are permanently closing and people are losing their jobs. I normally shop and support local, but wont be supporting this business anymore and will be sure to encourage my friends and family to do the same. I will say that every other employee I’ve encountered here has always been beyond helpful and friendly - perhaps he was having a bad day.

2021-08-18I rushed here to get something in the mail before the day ended and theyd locked the doors several minutes early. The guy behind the counter just looked at me through the glass as I juggled my packages, then went back to what he was doing, ignoring me after I knocked on the door.Obviously I have no idea how their actual service is, but now Ill never find out.

2021-10-09I’ve come two weekends in a row to try to open a new business mailbox and the owner wasn’t here both times, even though I made sure I had made an appointment the second weekend. The kids working here, including the “assistant manager” look like they are in high school, and are clueless. Horrible customer service!!!!
