Today, 7/23, after awful experiences at other UPS stores in the neighborhood, I was totally delighted with my experience at the 1623 Flatbush Ave location. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean and organized the store is. Then you are actually greeted in a manner that makes you feel welcome. Lalsha Moise was absolutely wonderful. She was courteous, professional, very knowledgeable and took care of me in a very timely manner. Finally, you meet the delightful gentleman that handles all the packages (I’m so sorry I did not get his name). If you want to ship packages without raising your blood pressure… I highly recommend this location.
Thank you UPS store at 1623 Flatbush avenue for your dedication and great service, specifically Lalsha Moise for taking care of a very important return that I needed done and ensuring it was brought back to the store. Its this kind of client service that makes people come back!
We used UPS store first time, and it was easy and fast. Store location in the shopping mall is convenient: Ive got free parking spot just in front of the store. We had to return pretty long (close to 8 feet) rug. Store worker Devin was friendly, helpful, and patient professional. Polite, informative phone call answers; clean, well organized office.
I had the unpleasant experience of having to visit this store to collect a package that was left at this store after an unsuccessful delivery attempt. The staff at the front were ok and treated customers respectfully, based on my observations that day. Unfortunately I had to deal with the Manager, Lalsha Moise, who was the most crass, crude and unprofessional person I have ever encountered. My package which was left at the store could not be located and I was told they will do a search and call me to give me an update. The Manager never called and when I followed up the following morning, Ms. Moise proceeded to call me a liar when I told her a UPS customer service rep told me the package was delivered there, raised her voice when I asked for a solution and hung up the phone on me when I asked for her full name. I am quite flabbergasted that a Manager could treat a customer with such little regard, when UPS is the one that lost my package! I will be writing a formal letter of complaint to the corporate offices, because there is no way I will allow this level of treatment to be ignored. I still have no solution to my lost package and I refuse to deal directly with Ms. Moise and her lack of customer service training. Needless to say, I will never use UPS ever again and I will ensure none of my family or friends use this Courier service in the future. Negative zero stars if that was an option!
I am in the process of closing on a property and needed to quickly print and scan a couple of documents. Upon reviewing the documents later that day, I noticed that the right side of one of the documents was cut off and therefore the document was void. I called this store to make them aware and suggested to have customers review documents before leaving. The customer rep said oh, okay then hung up. Printing at this place is not cheap and the reps attitude was unacceptable. This call happened on 12/10 at 4:05pm.
I attempted to drop off a package with a prepaid label. Accepting it will take less than a minute. I was right in front of the entrance door when a customer was leaving the store. A young lady that works at this store closed and locked the doors right at my face, while looking at me and clearly seeing me. I knocked, because this employee remained next to the door and was seeing me. But she didn’t bother to open at least to explain why she slapped the door right in front of me. Only when I returned to the car I noticed that it was 5:03. I didn’t know they close at 5 and this employee was acting disrespectful.I understand that employees may choose not to help me after 5 pm, even though we had a prepaid label.However, the behavior of this person is totally unacceptable and disrespectful. This is not the way business is made in civilized world!Im not coming to this place any more.
Disrespectful and confrontational. Brought a package here for drop off and needed to seal it as I just ran out of tape. Normally when this happens, and you are at a FedEx store they are happy to give you the dispenser to do so. Not at this location, they said I was not allowed to tape up my package and that they would have to do so for a fee. If it wasn’t late in the day and needing to get a package out I would have gone somewhere else. All other UPS stores I have been do not have this ridiculous policy, go to any other store or better yet use FedEx.
I would put no stars. Not only is the line out the door and it is coronavirus time i get it, the employees there are always all over the place ad not paying attention to customer service. When you get to them they always act impatient. Not only that I sent a package to my mother and gave the woman at the register the appropriate address, she put down the wrong address information. THe package was delivered to an unknown location in Monticello. I went back to the store and told them what happened and they told me to call customer service support it was already delivered and out of their hands. Not only that but when i Call customer service i am told to call the store..Its very unprofessional and unreliable and disgusting...I paid a lot of money for what i shipped to my relative only tobe told it has been lost.. disgusting!!
Its crazy so I had a Amazon return and needed label printed and they charged me 3 dollars when printing documents show 9 to 12 cents blk n white. keep in mind its their label. Smh and the charge shows computer time 1to15 minutes that a rip off for sure. When ask why they said that what they charge if you use computer but I didnt Beware they are crooks. Bad service. Fedex prints label for free. Smh o stars if I could
Summer 2020 Durung the Pandemic,Someone that works in the Store either one of the employees or the MANAGER stole my package that was delivered to the UPS Store. Because when I went to pick it up, It was no where to be Found but it was in the system. Then it was replaced by the MANGER with a Cheaper pair. Looked Nothing like the ones I ordered and waited 1 month for Delivery. I No longer have my packages delivered at this Location, A pair of Fluffy Furry slides size 10. STOLEN.
This is such a great resource for all who live and do business in central Brooklyn near the junction. First of all-- easy, easy parking. Second, great service, and friendly. Third, never a problem... it always gets out and is delivered properly. OK, a lot of that is basic UPS company efficiency, and locating in a convenient, parking-available place. But the PEOPLE there are really nice, professional, and helpful and that should not be taken for granted.
I received notification that my package was delivered to this location. When I get to the location, I’m told that I can’t pick up the package because it hasn’t been scanned. With the shortened hours due to the coronavirus, this is very inconvenient. The package was already a day late to begin with. I’m currently standing outside the location because I refuse to not get my package today. From all of the staff that I saw, someone could have scanned packages. Clerk stopped my transaction to answer the phone. Then proceeded to roll her eyes are the person is speaking. No apology to me just completely stopped my transaction to take care of someone else. Once she was finally done and thanked the person. Instead of apologizing she leaned over to act like she had a headache then took up my transaction again. So damn rude. Im tired of bad customer service.
I came in with six big boxes to ship to Las Vegas, and the gentleman behind the counter was very nice. He made sure my boxes were packed properly, so nothing would get broken during shipping. Everything arrived when he said it would with nothing broken. You cant go wrong using this store for packing and shipping!!!!
This UPS store is a great addition to the neighborhood.The services are convenient and reliable. The service is prompt and most importantly for me,personable and friendly!I found out that I can mail letters there! It can cost more than a stamp at the post office but it saves me time of standing in line forever to buy stamps. Not to mention having to deal with less than pleasant attitudes of some postal employees.Gary- Knockout Performance
Absolutely horrible I spent 30 minutes in line outside just to get in the store to stand on line again inside. One of the workers who I believe was a manager was no help I had sent something to the store email to be printed. Each time she went to the back she took five minutes to come back to tell me to the front to tell me she couldn’t find it( this happened at least three times) She didn’t explain the issue until I probed with more questions finally giving me a lame excuse as to the system wasn’t telling her anything new was in the inbox. She offered no solution whatsoever she literally shrugged her shoulders. I had to ask if the print station in the front was working to have my document printed.
Make sure you double-check the address that is printed on the label when sending your package, and double-check with the attendant that the address is the ACTUAL ADDRESS YOU ASKED FOR, not the one that shows up in their system. In my case my package was undeliverable because of an incomplete address. Im not sure if it was a computer glitch or human error on their part, because I gave the attendant the correct address, corroborated by the person I sent my package to. Their label printer seems to scramble things...Other than getting the address wrong, and thus rendering their service a pain in my arse, customer service was fine.
I came in, there was 1 person ahead of me. I stood a bit to the side to find my return code. Someone else came in and probably assumed I wasnt in line and became next. I didnt say anything. When it was time for next, the person stepped up. The clerk started to assist her, but then said to me, werent you next?. I said yes, but that it was okay. He then motioned to the person ahead of me that he would help me before her. The fact that my transaction took less than a minute may have been a factor as well.. but I left there thinking to myself, Wow, that was great.
Worst experience - stay away. I scheduled a notary slot online for my elderly grandmother two days in advance, and when we arrived we were told that the notary had left home for the day, 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment. My head exploded with anger. The two employees seemed out of answers, saying that the online scheduling system isnt valid and shouldnt be trusted. thanks to a sweet customer I ended up going to the adjacent bank. I will never go back there for notary services again.
I shipped my laptopghrough UPS to manufacturer and a week later. I was told that they couldnt find it. Meanwhile manufacture Emailed me a photo of another item sent to them on my behalf. It took a whole month for me to get a check for the declared value. Now Im left struggling to find a similar laptop with the same specs for that price. Everything I find is $150 more. I am livid and very upset. How do you loose a laptop? All they kept saying to me is Im sorry fo the inconvenience.
The owner herself saw to my needs; she was beyond courteous and extremely helpful. I was sending a letter overseas and she was clearly knowledgeable about the various services and companies that offer them and which one would be most beneficial---both money and timewise---for me.
Bad service... be aware of cheating thereEdit: it’s amazing how the owner thinks that if she writes blatant lies then it must be true. So no your employee never asked to see how items were packaged. And no your employee NEVER shared with me the ups guidelines. And again why would I pay for insurance (I have receipt) if it wasn’t going to be covered? STOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!
Today it was very cold out I went to the Store and I stood out there from 7:49am till 830am your time on the website and the time on the door stated 8:00 AM it’s unfair to do this to customers and when I return after work at 6pm the person that was in the store lock the door in my face

2021-12-07I used to be able to just drop off packages without having to wait here but now you can’t anymore. The line is always very long unless you come exactly when they open up. The customer service is good but the no drop off policy is ridiculous. At other ups locations I’m able to just drop off my package with a pre paid label and go but this one is the closest to me. Unacceptable. You have to wait outside some days on a long line while there is still a line inside. The photo is from 10am. Line outside in the cold.

2022-04-20I went to this store to drop off some packages to send back to Amazon. The young man who helped me was named Pat. When I arrived, I had 3 returns to send back to Amazon that Amazon said I could put in the same box and put the 3 return labels on that one box. Thank God for Pat who told me they couldnt do it that way. I realized that Amazon had misinformed me. Pat took the patience to find my labels on my Amazon app and in my email, so we could put the returned items in their own separate boxes. He took care of everything in no time, and assured me that everything would be taken care of. It went well and I got my credit from Amazon. I definitely couldnt have done it that quickly without the help of this young man. Its hard, especially today, to find such great customer support. I gave him five stars because that is what he deserved. Thank you, again, Pat. I will always return to this particular store because I just moved into that neighborhood and because the customer service is top-notch.

2022-05-16Smooth and pain free strip to UPS! I had at least 6-8 items to return from amazon and 2 other boxes to ship, print shipping labels and find appropriately sized boxes. I was worried about being a pain for these guys, to process all of my packages but Jonathan has been exceptionally friendly, offered helpful advice and tips to make my experience hassle free. Thanks for you help!

2022-04-24Terrible and extremely careless. I shipped 3 orders from my online store and they sent all three packages to one customer!!! But provided 3 tracking numbers! Only one tracking worked and it sent it to the one customer as a three part shipment. I’m FURIOUS!!!Each box had one order slip assigned to it with a name & address on top. It was SOOOOO SIMPLE.

2022-04-09This place is so unprofessional everyone that works there are very unprofessional was unsatisfied I had arrived 30 min before they close and they told me they are closing due to “personal reasons” which I don’t understand they have a time to close “personal reasons” should be dealt with after hours people have stuffs to return. Everyone should be replace and hire new people that will do the job and not complain you get paid to do a job.

2022-04-22On feb 22 i had a package sent from this store ,package was lost .i filed a claim and nobody from ups ever got back to me .i tried calling various ups numbers and got ivr run around .i called store explained situation and was placed on hold ,i hung up after 10 minutes .

2021-10-23(10/07/21)Was able to ship my package quick and easy. Jonathan was able to help explain when and how much it would cost to ship and also helping me properly secure my item in the box. (I didnt think I needed much bubble wrap but I was wrong). Great experience at this store, will continue to use them for shipping needs

2021-12-01I’m writing regarding the extremely poor service I received at the UPS Store located at 1623 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn, NY on December 1, 2021 around 4:00 pm. Firstly, when I called to inquire about the availability of print services, I was greeted by a seemingly irritated employee who did not want to be bothered. She informed me that I could print at this location. When I arrived, I was informed that I could not use the computer because it doesn’t work; I later realized that the computer worked, customers just weren’t allowed to use it. (As I saw employees using the very same computer to print from). After sending my documents to the email address provided, I was asked to wait a moment because another employee was printing something. After having waited about 10 minutes, I overheard the employee telling another customer that he would be able to have his printing label printed, but it would be “a while” because the printer was being used. After asking “how long is a while?” she checked with her colleague and then stated that they would try to print from the computer that I had been told was not working. After another 10 minutes, I was finally provided with my documents, told to wait for the same lackadaisical employee whose attitude suggested she did not want to be bothered, and I was finally able to check out by the same employee who ignored me when I thanked her for my receipt. The service here is far from acceptable, especially since I’ve been to other UPS stores and NEVER had such a nasty experience. What was most offputting was the fact that people came to the store, waited on an extremely long line due to systems being down and employees moving with minimal sense of urgency, pay our money with the expectation of quality service provision, yet have to be subjected to subpar customer service as if we received anything for free. Absolutely unacceptable and if this is the culture here, it totally contradicts the excellent quality customer service and service provision that UPS stands by. Out of order!

2021-11-29Fast and efficient depending on what time you go. Bought 12×12×6 box and did my own packaging. Box is far too expensive ($8.73) for the size, compared to shipping cost.
