I needed to have a package delivered somewhere when out of town. I called this UPS store and they told me that they did have a hold for pick up service and gave me their address. They mentioned that they charged $5 unless the package came via UPS. When the package arrived they charged $15 for “storage” and told me “they could have just sent it back as I didn’t have a mailbox with them”. $15 isn’t a lot, but they really should get their story straight when someone calls to ask. I actually asked my sender to use UPS because of the earlier response.
I paid extra for them to pack my monitor to be shipped to the manufacturer. I did have a malfunction, but was under warranty. I get an email from the manufacturer stating the repair would cost $500+ dollars. I was taken back because there is no way the repair would cost me anything let alone that amount, then I saw the photos of what they received from UPS.The photos will explain everything.Not only did UPS packed my item like I spit in their food, it looked like they used the package as a pinata for an anger management exercise.for anyone that WILL have an issue with UPS, expect them take 3 months for your claim, and if they state that it was approved...its only for the shipping costs. But youll only know that until the check comes.oh, and theyll charge you for them to pick up the package to investigate the claim... so just take that check they sent you, deposit the check, and send it right back to the company that put you through with bureaucratic equivalent of a Saw movie.Update...they refunded cost of the box they shipped my monitor in. You know, the one marked WARDROBE. Thank you UPS... you really know how to make an awful situation seem a little less terrible when it ends on a joke.
I went here to mail a package. It was busy but the staff member was personable when I got to the counter. The customer before me was having trouble understanding how home pick-ups work,the customer was getting irritated,( the staff attempted to explain the procedure)and I found the staff to be very patient with him.
This location has been absolutely amazing for a mailbox. I recently had a baby, and this location has spent the past several months holding baby registry gifts, large packages (car seat, stroller, pack-and-play), and tons of formula for us. My husband and I always do our best to stop by every other day so the packages dont pile up, since its a small store. Theyve been exceptionally helpful, and when the occasion cropped up, helped me carry the larger stuff out to my car! It was very kind. The staff know us and almost always know what theyre looking for when we turn in a package hold slip from our mailbox. Weve recently moved out of the area, so well be letting our mailbox expire, but well miss the staff at this store.
Made an appointment for notary services at this location from the UPS website.When we arrived, we were told the store does not honor these appointments, and are unaware of them.The staff was kind and polite in telling us that they could not honor our appointment, and could not provide notary services after 2PM.Skip this location, and try a reliable UPS store or competitor.
Newly remodeled. Friendly staff! Im always in and out! I go later in the day, during the afternoon it can get pretty busy! You wont have to wait long. This ups store has everything you need for shipping, to P.O boxes, fax machine, copy machine and a computer for your needs. Ive been coming here for years! I love the way the new inside looks! I have to mention the staff are helpful and have patience with customers 😊👍🏻 dont pay attention to the low reviews. People will have a small issue and give it one star. Very convenient. Handicap parking. I cant find anything wrong with this ups store. Please like my photos and reviews. Youll help me to get my rewards up!Thank you so much!
An item I purchased was being delivered through the UPS from the retailer. The shipper was unable to offer UPS MyChoice options and delivery failed two times because they like to deliver packages to my location at high noon on weekdays. I called the regional Customer Service location to see if they can hold it there for me to pick up. They said the shipper wouldnt allow that--it had to be delivered with a signature, but they could deliver it to a local UPS store for me to sign and pick up FOR FREE because I had a UPS MyChoice account and it was already in the region.I found this UPS Store because it was close to me. Apparently, THEY signed for it, and I was charged $10 for holding a package because the owner clearly said their store is NOT affiliated with the UPS and are NOT affiliated with their delivery policies. Because they are unaffiliated with the UPS, any damage to the product would have been their stores PERSONAL liability, not with the actual UPS.If you can definitively say that your store and workers are not affiliated with the UPS , you should have your storefront taken down, take off your UPS store shirts and call your store something else. May I suggest False UPS Store? It is highly misleading and from the other reviews, very unclear what services you actually offer. Additionally, the owner justified the $10 charge so that you people stop thinking you can just have your things delivered anywhere.Not sure if that was racially charged, but regardless: I didnt just pick a random location to have my package delivered. I selected a UPS store because a logical assumption would be that UPS would be able to conveniently deliver to a local UPS store for pickup.I think Im willing to drive a little further to pick up my deliveries from a real UPS location. I will never have anything to do with this location again.
I struggled writing a negative review during a pandemic but the young dark haired woman working at this location was so rude to me on Friday I couldn’t let it go. It’s uncomfortable to be in public for everyone currently and she made me coming in there even worse. I was mailing a gift to a family member that we couldn’t see because they are high risk! I felt like an inconvenience to her! Never again. Please educate this woman on customer service. I can’t remember a name unfortunately.
After receiving exceptional service at another The UPS Store, I was shocked when the owner of this shop charged me $40 plus tax when I picked up two small boxes that were held for 2 days. He yelled at me, threatened to call the police and told me that I had committed mail fraud.That is an absolute lie. He is in the business of shipping and receiving packages, and if shipping a box from one UPS Store to another is a federal crime, then one would think that UPS would be aware of it. Nope.This is no way to run a business. The owner of this store is an angry, sad rip off artist who swindles customers by charging outrageous fees that were not declared at any point in the shipping process.UPS, are you listening? This store is killing your reputation.
Worst UPS Store around. I called ahead of time to see if I could drop off boxes for pickup. They said would not be a problem. Brought two heavy boxes in then was told that the value must be under $1000.00 for them to take them. The value was right on the mark and I am under the impression that since this location wouldnt be making money off me they decided to make me suffer. Thats is why i called ahead of time to avoid problems. You should have just told me not to bother on the phone instead of making me miss a shipping deadline. This UPS store can piss off.
The employee was lazy and unhelpful in finding a solution to what we were looking to do, send a package to someone thats travelling and have them pickup the package at a UPS store. He appeared smug while giving short answers that were unhelpful and incorrect, and he offered up no other possible solution. He repeatedly told us what we are trying to do is considered mail fraud (I used to work for USPS, not sure what he is talking about). He also said maybe another location offers the service but he cannot check that because all locations are independently owned and operated, while passive aggressively stating he could check for us but he would have to go in back and google it just like we would. We ended up calling another UPS location for assistance, that quickly and simply told us there is a service offered by UPS for this for a $7 fee. He then quickly took care of it like nothing happened. Not sure why it had to be so difficult. I understand if he wasnt aware of the service, but to constantly roadblock us and not help to find a solution was very frustrating. Id give 0 stars if I could...
I came into the store on Monday to ship two packages going to two separate locations (The Bronx, NYC and Las Vegas, Nevada) I was told by the cashier that my package being shipped to the Bronx was due to arrive on 12/18/19. The package due to arrive in Las Vegas would be there on 12/23/19. The Cashier gave me a paper receipt and a shipping label (only for the Las Vegas destination.) This is my fault for not asking for a shipping label for the Bronx destination. I went into the store today and informed the owner that my package to the Bronx never shipped despite being sent with the other package. The package that was shipped to Las Vegas is en route. He stated to me that he wouldnt be able to do anything without the other shipping label. I only have what the cashier gave me. How was one package able to be sent?
Called for a price quote. The gentleman on the phone was utterly incapable of performing this simple service. Although I supplied the weight and general length, width and height of the box he could not give me a price stating to many other variables were at play.When I pressed him ,stating that I was deploying in two days and needed the piece of my uniform being sent to me, he finally gave me a estimate saying It will be under $100.Thanks for nothing. Ill take my business elsewhere.
I live out by Rochester but I was visiting Buffalo for an event and needed some flyers printed out on very short notice. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful and sent me on my way quicker than I couldve thought.I will definitely stop in again if Im ever in the area and need some printing done right!
UPS has generally been terrible compared with USPS and FedEx. The main problem I have is that when I expect a package, and am waiting at home for the package, the delivery person never rings the bell and never leaves the package--- they just leave a note saying I need to pick up the package at this access point.I have no idea why they do this-- this is pointless to me, since I want the package delivered to my residence; I do not have the ability to reach the access point.Then, when I call this location to attempt a redelivery, they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. EVER. UPS in general --and this location in particular-- is truly terrible. They have made my life much worse. If I could leave negative 5 stars, I would.

2022-06-27Just went in, asked about cold shipping, was directed to main hub, staff then got quite rude and kept saying have a nice day in the most sarcastic manner despite my politeness. Uncalled for, unprofessional staff. Will be avoiding this store in the future, also last two packages sent from this location arrived severely damaged and instructions were not followed by employees.

2022-08-08Now when you go to get your packages they charge storage fees for when the drivers are too lazy to get out of the truck and do their job. Even if it’s clearly written on the label where to put the package. Absolutely terrible. 👎I would put negative stars if I could.Again another terrible experience with UPS. They put a tag on the house even tho it’s clearly labeled where to leave packages. Drivers are just to lazy to get out of truck with a big item. Then they after two days of leaving the first notice they ship a $200 item back to the vendor and now I have to pay $50 to re send it. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely terrible excuse. If I worked my job the way these drivers do I would have been fired first day.

2022-07-29The workers here love to lock the doors an hour before they’re actually suppose to close. It’s unacceptable. I’ve missed out on returning multiple items because of this.

2021-06-03I was here Tuesday June 1st and it was towards the end of the day. I was shipping out two packages right before store closed and staff WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND AMAZING! I honestly want to thank them for helping me to ship my package to GOAT as it was the last day before cancelationTruly tremendous patience and professionalism. The staff of that day( I really wish I had taken down their names) were AWESOME! The company should reward them for their stellar service.

2021-09-20DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Use FedEx across the street. I asked them to pack up glass vases, purchased bubble wrap from them, boxes etc and asked that they pack. While they did use bubble wrap everything was tossed around and most broke. I paid for a warranty but am still fighting with them since July. They simply do not care. Conversely I mailed a guitar from FedEx across the street and all was perfect. You are warned...

2021-06-26I utilize UPS on a weekly basis for multiple purposes This UPS store is the absolute best they are friendly courteous and extremely kind. Everytime I go into the store it is such a pleasure as they are always able to help me out with that all of my needs and the needs of other customers. !!Hands-down the best UPS store!Will is amazing! 2021-11-02When I walked in there was about 10 people ahead of me. There was one person working and that was Carley- she was awesome - didn’t get flustered with all those people staring at her and just kept working and the line went quick. She was very impressive.

2020-12-06I am satisfied with customer service at the Delaware Avenue UPS location.The information online needs to be updated. Yesterday, Saturday, I checked the hours of operation, and a 5:00 closing time was posted, so I proceeded with my packages, and found the store to be closed with a 3:00 closing time posted on the door. The world certainly didn’t end, but I wasted time...Today I will call to make sure UPS is open at 10:00 because I cannot trust the online information . Please update.
