I was told they wouldnt say anything this time but said I really shouldnt use the counter to pack up items to ship at this location. Seems weird because in Buffalo / Niagara region all UPS stores are for packing and shipping. At least they told me on my first visit because I usually bring a hundred or so packages every time I visit family. Anyway its a nice location but I would not recommend going to this one to ship anything if you need to use the counter. I guess they just want printing here. Not shipping business. If thats wrong they should just tell their employees to welcome any business. There is another location in the area hopefully they are happier to accept business for their stores. If not we can always use staples. I just always try to give the family owned locations business because I know they make a ton with all my packages.
I went to drop a package off and they wanted to charge me $2 to just tape my label on it. I said, Really, youre going to charge me $2 for a piece of tape? The girl said, Yes, thats our policy since November. I was the only one in the store, so its not even like I was interrupting anything. She let me leave with the package. So much for courtesy. Of course, they have the right to charge for whatever they want, but every place else Ive gone just does it for free as a courtesy. Just on principle, Ill use a different store from now on.
This is one of the best ups stores in the area. The people here are really friendly and they seal your packages for no fee! In addition, there is a box of candy to handle your sweet needs.
Was at the store the girl with the long curly hair was rude and aggressive, when I said something back to her to stick up for myself she told the other girl to throw me out of the store. DONT GO TO THIS STORE
Not only are the employees friendly and knowledgeable, but I feel very safe every time I have to go there to send a package. I have several online businesses, and I am there quite often.
Wonderful! The young man behind the counter was smiling and polite and took my drop off package with smile. Best experience at a UPS store thus far.
Had a po box there for almost 5 years. Never one problem, always very pleasant staff. They accept my large packages even though I only pay for a small box.

DO NOT USE UPS COMMACK: I trusted UPS Commack to pack and mail my $5,500 watch to Seiko Repairs in Mahwah, New Jersey. Its been almost a week and when I checked the tracking number it says that the label has been created and that the package has not been mailed yet. I went to UPS Commack this morning and they are clueless to as what happened and said they are filing a claim. I tried calling UPS customer service and cant even get through to a live operator. This is beyond frustrating. I will never use UPS again.

2022-07-29Unfortunate learning experience in shipping a $2500 Tuba and paid to have UPS package hoping their expertise will get the job done. After spending $480 to ship - never asked value, was never asked if i required signature, was never asked about insurance...then it was first delivered to the wrong address and finally arrived in a completely demolished box and needless to say the worst packing job ever. After waiting on hold for 1 1/2 with customer service and a manager who was never available I offered to pay recipient for damages. Filing a claim is a complete joke - I would like to be refunded for the $$ I laid out for shipping because of the damages done in transit. UPS IS USELESS Lesson learned I will never use UPS to ship again!!

2021-09-16Worst store ever. Girl who helped me was exceptionally abrupt and came across as rude. Asked her name and nobody would give it to me. Manager was all but invisible and would not get involved. First time I’ve had this experience at this store. I’ve always had good experiences with the guy workers in the past. I’ve never left bad reviews for any places I’ve been to in the past but this one really bothered me for some reason. She seemed flustered and unable to handle the 2 other customers in the store. There was no issue. Just her loud and abrupt voice and darting back and forth not giving appropriate time to each customer. It should have been a one and done. 5 minutes later parking lot was empty, so what’s the problem? She should be able to handle the public without being dismissive to any one of them.

2021-12-23I read that UPS stores can take passport photos. At 11:00 this morning I called several UPS stores in my area. I understand that they are likely busy on this day two days before Christmas. Three stores did not pick up their phones. A fourth did, in Commack, Long Island. The female sales rep said sure, we take passport photos. Come in. I told her I would be there for the photos in 20 minutes.When I walked into the store 20 minutes later, the man at the cash register told me that their camera was broken. I asked why the female rep told me to come in, and of course, he turned to the female rep and she shrugged her shoulders. The gentleman apologized and I left the store.I certainly wont be purchasing anything at the UPS store in Commack ever!

2021-07-31Came here to get a shipping label printed out about a month ago, the women who helped me gave me it as a printed out piece of paper instead of the actual shipping label. I asked her if I could get the print out with the sticker label, but she told me that it was fine and that was all I needed and charged me for what I could’ve done myself at home. I paid the fee anyways since I always already there & when I brought my package to the post office they told me the bars couldn’t be read so whoever was going to handle my package would have to put the numbers in from the shipping label manually…because of this My refund process still hasn’t gone through yet & I really hope It doesn’t end up getting lost and I never get my money back. Won’t be using this UPS store again

2021-12-05I am a senior citizen using a walker. I will not be returning to UPS location 169 Commack Road. There were 3 female staff serving customers and I did notice each of them using abrupt, rude, sarcastic words and negative attitude with customers. When it was my turn, I experienced the same rude treatment, and I will not be returning to this UPS location. Thank you.

2020-12-30Giving 3 stars out of 5 because of one aggressive employee there. Everyone else there is great. The girl with the brown curly hair (employee number 113727) is extremely rude and nasty. Just came in to drop off a package, and she was absolutely nasty for NO reason. Her tone and eye rolling, and they way she talks to customers is unacceptable. Especially considering I had everything packed up and ready to ship. Should have been an easy time and she made it so awful.

2021-09-03Worst Service Ever !!!!! Just recently my package ended up “ damaged “ but before that was said to be under label being created, very suspicious and doesn’t seem like anyone wants to be bothered just want to be left be. Never will use this store again and hope people learn from this and other reviews of the negative feedback.
