Being a client there for many many years. I was a very helpful with shipping. Really great was drop off today always give you a receipt. They even help you I will stay up when you need it it is such a better service than the US Postal Service period!I’d rather walk a few more blocks and be there than at any other location. Thank you
I imagine this time of year its very stressful and frustrating to work at UPS or any other shipping company. When I came in Larrel was working and the store was absolutely packed. Despite this he helped me resolve my problem with the computer and printer and made sure I was taken care of. Lots of respect and credit to him for being a good dude during the really overwhelming holiday season.
Computer worked fine, but the notary managed to provide a false signature, didnt include a jurat and didnt identify where they have their license from, I was able to recognize that they didnt even want to give me the notary stamp and had to ask for it.Update to the owner: I dont know what to tell you, I had to go print off a new set of documents and get another notarization from a different UPS store because the county clerk denied the set I got from your store. This isnt a lie. You could say you have a new notary, and they are learning, but instead you attacked me.
I needed to print a document and get it notarized today. I called the location to see what time the notary would be there. I was informed she would leave at 3:30, so I planned my day around that time. When I arrived at just after three, the man behind the counter told me the notary left at three o’clock. That was a little annoying however I needed to print documents anyway. There is a winter storm today so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why the notary left early. I rarely go to the ups store to print anything, at best I go once a year. So I asked the man behind the counter how to go about this. Firstly, I could tell he is absolutely miserable at his job, but there should be no reason to treat your customers the same. He very rudely told me to go to the computer. Every time I asked a question on how to go about printing my documents he acted as if I was interrupting some dire project he had. I was the only person in the store. I’ll admit I’m not as computer savvy as some, but his behavior was uncalled for. I was trying to be as polite as I could without becoming frustrated.Unfortunately I will not come back to this location, and I will inform my customers of the poor service here. Maybe the man needs a day off.
Easily one of my favorite stores to come to for all my business needs. Nancy is a ray of sunshine! Shes bright, helpful, and hardworking always meeting & exceeding my expectations. Shes my local Notary, anytime I need documents notarized shes available.After dropping off a package the staff gave me a card with coupons it was pretty nice.Nancy, and her staff are always very helpful to me. If I need documents printed I just forward them to the store email, and pick them up same day.Great store, wonderful staff, and ask for Nancy.
I pretty much never write reviews on google, but I am this time because UPS just consistently does whatever they want with no accountability.I had to make a return to Eastern Mountain Sports and dropped a package off at this UPS. Eastern Mountain Sports called me immediately after to let me know they didnt have a replacement and asked if I just wanted to keep my package. I said yes and they called this UPS to hold my package. UPS had not sent it out yet and some one named Brandon told EMS that they would hold it for me.I went there immediately after I got out of work yesterday to get it and had to go pretty out of my way home to do so. I got there and the employee working had no idea what I was talking about. He said all packages had gone out and no one had told him about this.Even if my package had been there, I am not sure how he would have found it because the entire store was chaos. It was covered wall to wall in boxes and bags with no particular order to what was happening, packages in the middle of the floor balanced precariously, customers wrapping around them since we couldnt be in an actual line. My package could have been anywhere in there. And- any customer could have easily grabbed one of the packages or bags and walked out without any one knowing because of how insane and messy the place was.The guy working was pretty apathetic about helping me, but when I kept pressing he actually attempted to figure it out. In the end, he never found it and said it must have been sent with the mid day delivery, but he said he had no way of even checking if that had happened.All this employee Brandon had to do was put one single package to the side where it wouldnt be picked up and let some one know he had done so. If UPS didnt want to hold it, or felt like it may get lost if they did so, it would have been great if they had just told EMS or me this. But instead, they promised they would hold it and did not actually do so. Then they did not care about what had happened and could not fix it.UPS is consistently disappointing, so I shouldnt be surprised, but this was really a bummer.
Now, Ive never left any negative reviews for services before, but this store has left me no choice. DO NOT SHIP HERE.On the 19th of December I went into this store to send a gift to family for the holidays. I knew it was going to be expensive, and I was right - they charged roughly $170 to ship my package on time. This was for a set of books, worth $44. I was desperate, so I paid for it.It never arrives. I understand that there are delays, especially during holidays, but by around the 10th of January it still does not show up. Nobody has contacted either me nor my recipient at this point. I get on the phone with UPS customer service that cannot locate the package. This goes on for about a week, until they tell me that the package is in customs. They dont know how much customs is and I have to wait another week to find out the charge.When they finally get back to me, the cost of customs is an additional $120. Just to reiterate, the package itself is worth $44. This is almost 3 times the cost of the gift itself. If I knew that I was going to pay around this cost for customs, I would not ship through them. But nobody in their store mentioned this. I cannot get my package back unless I pay this extra cost. I try and ask for a refund, and they do not allow for a refund unless the package is delivered. I cant file a claim. They are essentially holding my package ransom.At this point, the service has been so unreliable and stressful that the idea of paying an extra $120 - that is almost three times the value of the gift itself (regular customs charges are around 15% - 22% of the items value) - is something that I cannot fathom. They tell me that they do not know the customs charges when they send a product out, which is insanity as shipping packages - getting a package from point A to B - is their business.Nobody in this store will take responsibility for this. Nobody in corporate will take responsibility for this, and instead Ive lost $214, as well as huge amounts of time and energy going back and forth between customer service for almost a month now. I asked for a refund after a month of trying to work with them, which they refused.Even now, I will never get the package back. Im incredibly dismayed at what has happened here and absolutely horrified at their practices.As a small business owner myself, I could never imagine doing this to my own customers. They dont care about you. If anything goes wrong with your delivery, which happens often, youre on your own. Dont expect this irresponsible store to live up to their promises. Shame on them.
I normally dont write reviews but the customer service at this locations was incredible. I needed to get some prints and Im definitely not computer savvy. The rep that was there was totally patient and completely helpful. Thanks again definitely a returning customer..
Scheduled a pick up to be shipped across country, confirmed it 3 times prior to the pick up date. The driver arrived and said he couldnt fit our boxes in the truck and left without further communication. Called the store and were told that they made an error and would send another driver out. Missed our flight due to this error. Each further conversation with the UPS Store representative was rude! We were hung up on twice, charged an absurdly excessive amount ($500 more than should have paid) and when questioned were basically told too bad. Asked for a refund of the pick up fee since they were 1 1/2 hours late, due to their error, but again told, too bad. Customer service at this location is horrific and the prices charged were astronomical and far higher than quoted on the UPS website! DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!!
Worst UPS location ever, charged me $3 acceptance fee for an Intl DHL prepaid package 2 weeks ago, tracking as of today still shows as NOT PICKED UP, recipient clearly never received it. Went back today to see if they have any backlog of any outgoing packages, nope, nothing, this location does not log any packages in or out whatsoever so definitely very fishy. This is an online shopping return to London, a $2000 package I suspect is now STOLEN by the employees. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!
Ive never left a review on here but the service here is absolutely horrendous. Went to ship a package 5min before closing. As soon as I walk in Matt says the registers are closed. Why are the registers closed before 8pm? I hustled to make it before closing. I asked twice why that was the case if they didnt close until 8pm. He interrupts me and says are you going to keep asking me questions? Completely unacceptable way to treat a customer. Judging from the comments others have experience equally poor service.
They dont print out ups shipping labels, and charge you full freight to do so on their computer. The computer then charged me for eight minutes even though I only swiped my credit card and cancelled out after I realized I would have to log into my personal email in order to do anything.
I asked if I could print something from an email. The associate said that I could try but the card reader was broken and then turned away. I asked which monitor I was to use and he pointed to the corner of the store where there were two monitors, one with a dolly in front of it the other wedged near the copier.I clear needed more help so he indiacted the correct monitor which would even turn on. He did come to reboot the machine but walked away. After I fussed with it for a bit, gave up and he just said ok. One more minute of effort would be sufficient.
I was looking for a UPS store that was close to me and open on Sunday, so I did a search and found this one. Unfortunately; when I arrived there at 11 am (window hours said they would be open from 11am-5pm) they where closed. I proceeded to stand there and wait for about half an hour, with my package in my hand, to see if they would open their store. Finally I got tired of waiting so I went to closest Staples to drop off my package. I guess THIS UPS store decided it wasnt worth opening there store on time, or just didnt care.

2022-05-19Such a great store! I usually deal with Miguel and William who are amazing, but I have always had good experiences at this store. Beyond shipping, they have a print center, and I think one of them is even a notary! Thank you for all of your help through the years!

2022-07-08I have been using this location for a few years now. I have found the staff, which now includes Brian & Miguel, to very helpful, professional & polite. They have been very knowledgeable & answered all my questions in regards to shipping items & mailbox rental. I get timely email notices if I have packages & even can phone them if I have questions. Ive also used their Notary on a few occasions. I know they will be moving across the street in August to a larger space. Im sure their service will improve even more. I highly recommend this UPS location. (Also very easy to get to by subway- W18th street stop on #1 train at W18th & 7th Ave)

2022-06-22Miguel is the best!! The store is small and may look cluttered at times but the staff still runs efficiently and we haven’t had any lost packages. They are always quick and fast with service and guidance.

2021-11-01Brad helped to ship a very complicated art package overseas and took care of it from A to Z: packing, insurance and customs paperwork, transport to the airline. He was very responsive and knew how to troubleshoot when needed. Very professional, honest and nice to deal with. Highly recommended!

2021-09-02I dont think I have ever waited longer for anything on the face of the earth than I waited to return an Amazon pkg to a UPS store. The line started going down 7th Ave for a block & a half. There was one guy working - not sure if it was his fault entirely, but he DEFINITELY needs MUCH of the blame. This was at around 4:30pm on Thurs 9/2/21. This was Insanity. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I go there. And the extreme outrage that people were beginning to feel will no doubt cause at least a couple of those poor people who were waiting (and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting) to make it their lifes work to deter anyone and everyone from EVER going to this UPS location again. Good work, UPS! Please retrain or let that employee go

2019-08-02This review is solely for the horrible experience with Miguel, the supervisor.My wife and I were at the UPS store in the early morning and trying to return an item to amazon. We checked how much is the packaging fee and Miguel said it was around $70, the item is $60 so I asked how much is the box and tap. it cost us $45 but we just want to get the thing returned so we bought the box and tap and start to packing it by ourselves.Then Miguel told us we cannot pack in the store per UPS policy, when there is no other customers in store and it was raining and wet outside. I couldnt believe what Miguel said and my wife asked to show us the UPS policy and he was not able to provide. I felt he got upset not getting the $70 he wished for. But we already paid $45 for just a box and a tap!The behavior of Miguel is unacceptable and lack of integrity and consideration. We live in the neighborhood and are regular customer, all other employees from this store we encountered are pretty nice and professional, not as cold heart as Miguel.Updated review:I discussed the matter with the Owner Waldo. He explained the reason of this policy to me and promised to talk to Miguel and make sure he understands why they enforced such policy so that he can explain to customers better rather than just say no.
