The UPS Store in other cities:
Please avoid this UPS if you can. They wont be responsible for your package and they are dishonest. I needed to ship my passport for immigration for Canada. I chose their worldwide next day delivery, I spent 60 bucks on it. It was supposed to be shipped out the same night on 10/15. The right next morning, I found on the UPS tracking website, it’s still at the store. I called them immediately, they told me everything goes out at 7pm ish every night, all packages arrived yesterday were all shipped out. I was convinced. But later on I checked again and found the package was actually shipped out at 7pm on 10/16. So this is the first time they lied, they lied they shipped the package. Later on when I checked, the package was in Kentucky. Called them again asking I paid 60 dollar for next day delivery, how come 2 days later it was in Kentucky. They told me there is no guarantee on the service, it’s all estimation. I looked up online while I was talking to them, and found on the website it shows worldwide saver service is a guaranteed next day delivery. Caught them lying but didn’t really help my case much. Few days later I found my package was located in New Hempshire. I paid 69 bucks to let my passport take an American tour? Called them again and I was told I can get a FULL refund but my package can’t arrive any time earlier and they didn’t know how to help me.Turned out my passport arrived with more than a week delay. Called them and they scheduled a refund for me. When I got the check, I found it’s only 50 bucks. It’s not a FULL refund. Called them again, I was told I can only get refund for the service, but not the fuel surcharge and processing fee. FINE, the service is listed clearly on my receipt and it’s $55. This UPS store guy told me “I don’t know where you got your receipt but it’s $45 shown on my system”. I’m not hired by UPS to solve your system issue. I got the receipt from you! Instead of asking customers why the receipt is different from your system, ask yourself and prepare an legit answer. Lying can’t help your business.
UPS is a scam!I shipped a gift item on 05/27/2020, I paid $106.62 and they also asked $25 from my recipient at the destination and the package is still nowhere to be found. I call the conflict center 3 times a day, nothing happens, they simply look up the tracking number in the same way that I would do and tell me what they see. I can get the same information by myself.Currently no one knows what happened to my package. The people on the phone talk to you as if it very normal to charge someone more than $130 in total, $25 of which has not been mutually agreed and in return do nothing.Corporate corruption must end in NYC!
Went to the store to ship an iphone X, paid for next day delivery - the african american clerk who worked there clearly knew it was an expensive phone. The packaged never arrived, never even got out of NYC. Im certain the clerk stole it. Im never returning to this location when they have a thief working for them.
Luis is the man! He helped me with everything I needed and was incredibly friendly.I was in there for about an hour scanning documents and Luis was attentive throughout the process and quickly corrected all the mistakes the machine made (lines through the documents, skipping pages, jams, etc...).He did this all while helping other customers.A+ experience.
1.0 star rating 12/14/2016I regularly use UPS and FedEx. If you are unable to print a label, all FEDEX stores have an email address and they will happily print the label for you. I mistakenly assumed UPS would do the same (and I am fairly certain other locations will happily do the same). When I asked the older asian man at the front to print a label for me (as everyone else has been pleasant in my experience), he insisted I had to buy a computer pass for $5 and print it out for $.50. I explained that FEDEX had a policy of printing labels and asked that he make the exception this one time. I was carrying an oversized box and this is New York (where nothing is easy), so I expected that common courtesy would prevail. WRONG.He proceeded to speak to me like a child, explaining the steps of logging onto a computer, logging into my email, and printing my own passes. I told him he was being condescending and rude and that I very well understood the process. He proceeded to get louder and louder, defending his condescending lecture and that he was justified in doing so. I asked him to stop talking as I didnt care for his tone, YET HE CONTINUED. Two minutes later he was on the phone yelling at someone else, yelling policies and procedures as to why someones package cant be found.Working around boxes all day has trapped this mans brain in a box. He is literally incapable of thinking outside of the box. I work in sales and would NEVER speak to any of my customers the way this man did to me. I hope he owns this store because he does not have the skills to EVER leave it. Awful.

2021-10-02My daughter shipped 11 small boxes last year when she moved back to California during the pandemic. UPS has flat rate of $20+ for small boxes this size. But at this location, they charged $498 for these 11 boxes. No one explained to my daughter how she could get the flat rate UPS advertised. When we contacted USP Corp. to complain, they just said not every UPS store honor the advertised rate. Hard lesson learned is that you better call the store to check before taking all your boxes in.

2022-07-30Let me start off by saying believe the negative reviews! This is the worst UPS Store I’ve ever been to in my life. I had to return an item back to Amazon that was already in a box but they said it had to go into another box otherwise the driver won’t take it. That flawed logic makes zero sense as I’m not sure what purpose it serves to box a box. So if someone had to send a TV back, would you stick a 75in TV that’s already in a box in another box? They had the audacity to charge over $8 dollars for a box when there’s boxes all over the street. Then they charge you to just tape it up. I’ve sent and return countless packages in a simple box and never had an issue at any other locations. The bad reviews are legit. They said themselves it depends on each owner. The only reason I didn’t leave to go to another location was the item that was packed perfectly and had styrofoam and everything inside, also weighed 30+ pounds that was a hassle to move around. But apparently it’s a good idea to put a 30 pound box inside another hollow box with no packing foam, wrap, or air bags. Otherwise though I would have marched myself right down to the Delancey location that gave me no problems. Everyone do yourself a favor and run. They’ll shut down here soon enough.

2022-08-20I’ve always came to this UPS to drop off packages and/or need to print return labels. They require you to log on to their computer to print now, you can no longer email them the return label and pay for printing. This is just a new way for them to charge you $$$ to log on to their computer and print.

2022-03-14I see that this location has a lot of negative reviews. I have never had any problems with this location. The service is quick and efficient. I usually use them for Amazon returns. Very satisfied with staff and service. Highly recommended.

2021-12-03Worst service ever at a UPS store! Rude staff who couldn’t care less about customers. My husband and I came into this store for an amazon return. A simple and easy process elsewhere turned into a frustrating experience here. After the staff scanned the first return code, he was given two items under that code. The system indicated very clearly this was the case. Then he asked the second return code, and placed this on another item. Did not seem to be an issue, but this was when trouble brewed.First the Ups staff told us they could onlyaccept 5 items per day (??). I have never heard of such policies. And even if that was the case, we had two separate accounts thus two different return code for less than 10 items. Still, he told us with an indifferent tone that he would only accept 5 and we had to return the rest on a different day or at another store. Seems like such a joke for a family of two only able to return 5 items altogether. Amazon did not have a problem with returning a number of items at once, the job ot UPS is only to scan and send the items. How is it their place to decide that limit? I questioned this policy, and he turned away from me.Second, this was when I noticed that he had placed the second return code on an item meant to be in the first return order. I tried to explain many times but the man, and his colleague, kept on asking which code goes where. The first return order had 2 items and the second return order had 6 items. Very clearly. I showed the return code on my phone, and again, explained the situation. They just kept looking confused and said “all of these items under the same code?”. Have they not handled amazon returns before? Do they not see it in the system or when I showed the return order? What was so hard to understand? When they were finally able to understand the situation, they told us that we should have told them so(??)Third, the worst of all, they heavily threw two bags of return items into the bin, despite seeing that they were delicate electronic items. No they do not care about customers nor want to listen to any explanation. Vague policies never heard of, rude attitude and terrible handling of goods. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this store.

2022-06-06There was a line waiting for this store to open at 8.30am as advertised on the door and on Google maps. No one here.Is there no General Manager for this store who checks the reviews? The last 3 are about staff not being on time or the times needing to be updated

2021-03-08Stay away. Unfortunately the customer service has gone downhill here in the last year. None of the UPS employees know their own ups policies. I tried to ship a small dry ice shipment on ground once. Tiana and her manager changed the requirements each time I came in. I carried the box home 3x to fix the issues. After the 3rd time, I called the UPS customer hotline and had them speak to the manager on the phone. Only then did they accept the package and there was no issue with it in the first place! The team is lazy and they would rather not be bothered. Customer service is tough and everyone is prone to having bad days. However, every time I come in, the cashiers talk down to you. I dropped off 2 amazon packages today that did not require a box or label (as specified on Amazons return page). Frances, the new guy, said I had to buy packing tape. When I disagreed with him, Tiana chimed in and laughed at me multiple times. I have tried to be extra pleasant with her in the past and she has been rude every single time. The only explanation that I have for her behavior and her condescending tone is that she has an issue with Asian Americans.

2020-12-16Nice people at the front desk (assuming they are not at fault), but the store is a crook. Will charge you 4 times the price that the UPS website gives as an estimate for an 8lb box for UPS ground to California. While it did ship right away, the price is abhorrently off the estimate and UPS holds no liability for the rates of an individually owned UPS store as per their customer service, so even speaking to customer service hints at a very sketchy business model involving this store and UPS itself. Save yourself from these shady practices and go to Fedex or USPS
